Some miles away from the scene, two demons were watching this show play out. Sitting on a picnic blanket, Lucille was happily sipping her tea from her favorite black and blue teacup while occasionally taking a bite from a blueberry scone. She seemed to be enjoying herself too much with this little show displayed before them, mainly since she put some creative influences into it. The other one was a blonde man with blood red eyes, who was not as happy to watch the show. It was clear that she dragged him to this, but he didn't understand why. The only people he seemed to recognize was Sebastian Michaelis and the young brat. Though, he noticed a difference to Ciel than the last and only time he saw him at the curry battle. The young brat that his sister served was more stoic and this one was actually psychotic. Sebastian acted completely different too, as if he had lost something very important to him. He figured it was the brat due to this supposed battle that the two demon butlers were having together. However, something didn't seem right to him. He had a lingering feeling something bad was about to happen. It was rare that anyone, especially the demon bitch like Lucille, would do a favor for him.

"Why the long face, Bastille?" she said before taking another bite as she watched Hannah slowly enter the scene.

"It's nothing, hopefully," he said as he took a sip of tea from his white and red teacup. He wanted to avoid talking to her as much as possible or else he might want to kill her.

"Come on, I did this favor for you and you're just going to have that gloomy face on for our entire little date?" she said in a pouty tone with fake puppy dog eyes. She knew exactly how he felt about her, but she always liked to push people's buttons.

"This isn't a date. The mere thought of it makes me sick."

"Oh my, such cold words. Even after I promised to let you see your sister, you still want to be cruel to me," she said with a sad face before chuckling and continuing to sip her tea.

"Yet I have not seen her. So far, I just see that brat she serves and Sebastian," he said, trying to hold back his anger. "Plus, the various other demons here."

"Don't forget about the Reapers," she reminded, hoping to get a reaction out of him.

"Right," he said with bitterness. Out of all the Reapers he saw, it had to be the one contracted to kill him and the one he made an agreement to work with during the Jack the Ripper case. Luckily, he never fulfilled his side, especially after learning that the supposed female Reaper was a man. He still shuddered in disgust at the thought. "But the one Reaper that matters isn't here."

"Oh, she's there," she says as stood up to get a better look at the scene, which was just getting interesting after hearing the young lord yell for Sebastian. "You're just not looking hard enough."

"What are you talking about?" Bastille got up and stood next to her to see what she was seeing. He saw the two demon butlers stop fighting as a twig of a boy climbed up a bell tower. He saw a demon maid approach the two butlers with someone by her side, carrying a demon sword. However, as he looked closer at the lackey, there was something awfully familiar about her: the blonde hair and blue eyes. She reminded him of someone from a past he wish he could forget. She looked like someone he was very close with. As if she was . . . "Th-That's not . . . ,"

"Huh, I never expected her to take this approach, but Hannah Annafellows does not disappoint," Lucille said with a grin. However, before she could make another comment, his hand wrapped around her neck tightly, wanting to take the life out of her.

"What the fuck have you done to my sister?!" he yelled. "Why the fuck does she look like that?!"

"I didn't do anything directly to her. All I did was plant a little lie in this little conflict to spice things up," she said in between breaths, but she had confidence that he wouldn't be able to kill her. He would then have to deal with her father, Lucifer.

"What kind of lie?" he asked before giving her a tiny bit more breathing room so she could explain. However, she wanted to be free and placed her hands on his, but he felt a burning sensation on where she placed her hands. Eventually, it became too hot and he let her go, noticing blue flames emanating from her hands.

"That's better," she said before the flames disappeared. "Now, I don't know if you are aware, probably not since you've been away for a while, but your sister became a witness to a contract between demons."

"A witness? That's impossible; she's a Reaper."

"Well, there is a loophole and those two demon butlers figured it out. There is no rule saying a Grim Reaper can't be a witness since it was inconceivable at the time that a Reaper would try to be one of us. As long as she was close with Lucifer, she was able to be the witness. However, I'm afraid they were wrong," she said with a smirk.

"They have to be blood children of Lucifer," Bastille finished.

"Oh, so you are aware of that rule?"

"Yes. Since Lucifer treats us as if we were his own children, I have had demons come up to me and ask to be their witness, but couldn't."

Lucille lost her smile, thinking about her father's unfair display of affection toward his blood and adopted children. "Right, but their contract could still work as long as a child of Lucifer watched over."

"But if you're the witness, why have them believe she is the witness? It seems pointless."

"Oh, and they would let me be their witness with my reputation?"

"I wonder who's fault that is," he said with his arms crossed.

She regained her smile as she said, "Regardless, I've been watching their little contract play out, but sadly, they didn't keep their word, or at least, Claude Faustus didn't. So, I've decided to play with them by adding a surprise element into their game."

"Lilliana is the surprise? Maybe for Sebastian, but not for the other guy—,"

"I meant Hannah Annafellows. You see, she has a special connection with Claude's previous master and has her own selfish intentions with him. That's why she stuck with Claude for all this time. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to get what she wanted."

"But what does this have to do with my sister?" he asked as his anger boiled up inside him.

She chuckled. "I'm pleased to say that I had little to do with that. You see, they knew she would give Sebastian an advantage in this game, so they brainwashed her into joining Claude's side."

"Brainwashed?! A Reaper?! How?"

"If the medicine is strong enough, even a demon can change," she said with a giggle. "But that's not even the end of it. I told Hannah that harming the witness, even only psychologically, is a crime punishable by death, which is true, but they didn't harm the witness, now did they?"

"You manipulative bitch. So this death match is all because of a lie?"

"Between the butlers, no, but now that Hannah is in the picture, it might turn out that way, and judging by how Lily looks, I assume she fucked with her mind and it somehow changed her appearance."

"But does she . . . remember?"

"Probably not based off the smile on her face," she said before she sat back down on the picnic blanket. "Phew, That was a lot of explaining, but you can see your sister. Now, just sit back down and watch the show with me. It's just getting good."

"Fuck no! I'm going to save her before they accidentally kill her," he said as he tried to rush to the scene, but before he could move, he was surrounded by a cage of blue flames. He didn't even attempt to run through it since he knew he would get burned, especially when he remembered who was most likely controlling these flames.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," she said with two raised fingers. "I believe someone forgot his place. You may have a higher position than most recently killed demons, but you don't have the same privileges as you did before. You shouldn't even be on Earth until you gain favor with Lucifer, which shouldn't be that hard for you," she said with a bit of venom in her words before making the fire cage smaller and the flames closer to him. "Regardless, I'm doing you a favor by bringing you up here and if anyone found out about this, it won't go well for you." Bastille had no choice, but to agree with her. Although Sebastian, Claude, or Hannah did not possess the same authority as Lucille, he couldn't just join their fight in case they would tell Lucifer somehow. He was stuck in this predicament of just watching the scene play out, unable to do anything to change it. Once she saw the look of defeat on his eyes, she lowered the cage until the flames disappeared. "Thats a good boy."

"You really are a bitch," he said, making her grin.

"I'm no different than any other demon, including you," she said before finishing her tea and pouring herself some more. He was furious; he wanted to kill her for bringing any harm to Lilliana, even if she didn't inflict it directly. If it wasn't for her, none of this would have happened. He watched as he could see his own sister fight the butler she had a partnership with and knew this was a different Lilliana that he didn't know. He sighed and said to himself, "If there is one person that can save her, it's Sebastian Michaelis. I just hope his hunger for that soul doesn't stop that."

Miles away from the audience, the three demons and the new stranger gathered around to watch as Ciel, or really, Alois in Ciel's body, taunt them with the threat of falling off the bell tower. Sebastian and Claude couldn't stop staring at the new girl, mainly out of shock. They had not met her, or at least, Sebastian had never met her directly. Though, her face isn't one he could forget. "L-Lilliana?" Sebastian asked.

She giggled sadistically as she said, "I'm surprised you can recognize me like this, Sebby~"

"What have you done to her, Hannah?" he asked as calmly as he could, but it was clear rage was slowly building inside him.

She smiled as she said, "All I did was free her from demonic influences while also evening the playing field. Whether she had her free will or was controlled, she was always going to give one of you an unfair advantage. As she is, she can no longer be influenced by either of you, even if you use your marks on her."

"Go ahead and try!" Lilliana taunted. After a while, Claude decided to test it out and his hand with the mark started to glow. Underneath her shirt, they could see a glow and eventually, blood began appearing, but she had no reaction to it, which honestly terrified both demons. "Usually, this would hurt like fucking hell, but thanks to Hannah, I don't feel a thing. I owe her my life," she said as Hannah's Mark of the Covenant appeared on her left eye.

Sebastian scowled, but noticed that Grell and Katia were rushing to the scene, still keeping their distance from the demons to avoid any unneeded confrontation, but they were confused by the strange woman accompanying Hannah. However, they noticed something familiar with her, even if her hair and eyes didn't match the woman they thought of. "Hey, does that woman look familiar to you?" Katia asked Grell.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure I fought that maid some days ago," he said.

"No, not her, the other one."

"Hm," he said as he got a better look at her. "Now that you mention it, I might have assumed it was—,"

"Lilliana, kindly give our new guests the Trancy welcome," Hannah said with a grin.

"Of course, my lady," she said as she turned toward the Reapers and ran to them with the demon sword in hand, ready to strike them. Katia quickly got out of the way, trying to not fight her for multiple reasons, mainly being that she was still injured.

However, Grell was more than willing to fight her. "I don't know who you think you are, but no one tries to harm a dear friend of mine and gets away with it," he said as he revved up his chainsaw and swung it toward Lilliana, who moved out of the way in the nick of time. She tried to swing her sword at him, only to be blocked by his Death Scythe.

"I don't intend on hurting you two. No, I want to kill you," she said with a sadistic smile as she pushed him back and tried to strike both Reapers, but Grell did a good job of protecting them.

"If you think I'm gonna hold back, you're sorely mistaken, honey," Grell said as he tried swinging his Death Scythe for a brutal strike, but Katia pulled him back before he could do any serious damage to her. "Hey, what's the big idea?!"

"Don't hurt her! It's Lilliana!"

"I know that," he said right before Lilliana tried to land another strike on them, but he again blocked it. She wasn't going to let this little conversation distract from her order.

"Wait, you know and you're still going to hurt her?"

"Because she has this coming after many years of being an insufferable bitch."

"But she isn't herself. I don't know what they did to her, but they're controlling her," Katia said before jumping away from yet another close call, forcing her to pull out her katana in case she did have to fight.

"That's clear if she hurt you and keeps trying to kill us," Grell said as he tried to change it up by being on the offensive side, but she was clearly waiting for his attack because she not only managed to dodge the attack, but landed a good kick in his stomach that sent him flying several feet away.

"Grell!" Katia yelled as she tried to help him, but found herself having to defend herself from Lilliana.

"My my, I'm surprise you have some fight in you after I left a deep slice in your back. Perhaps a few more cuts in your body will prevent you from moving at all." Lilliana laughed maniacally, which frightened Katia, but all she could do for now was defend her and Grell.

Sebastian couldn't keep watching their fight and looked at Hannah angrily as he said, "I must convince you to return my young master and Lilliana, as themselves. Fortunately, I can be quite persuasive—,"

"I wouldn't advise killing me. If you do that, the young lord might have to fall, but even worse, I might have your little maid avenge me and I doubt you would want that," Hannah said with a slight smile. "If you had not noticed, Ciel Phantomhive's body now belongs to my master. Alois Trancy's soul was taken into him. It waited ever so quietly for the proper time to reawaken. The soul took advantage of a weakness in Ciel's heart and used it to steal his body."

"Alois is using his Ciel's body as hostage so our hands are tied," Claude said.

"As for Lilliana, her reawakening was a bit easier. Inside her soul resides a number of former lives and all I had to do was reawaken one of them. Apparently, her vengeance for her human life was the strongest," Hannah explained.

"I'm going to call right off, Sebastian!" Alois kept taunting. It pained Sebastian and Claude to not help him, but that was not the young master that they were after.

"Your hands may be tied, but your hearts aren't, are they? Prepare yourselves. I'm sending you on a journey," Hannah said with a more wicked smile as she signaled Lilliana to return. Katia and Grell watched as the threat moved away from them, but the fear did not diminish whatsoever. "Both of you are eager to retrieve Ciel Phantomhive. To do so, you must journey through the labyrinth of Alois Trancy's heart, following the painful twists and turns that comprise it. However, there is one catch."

Liliana then provided two stamp books to the butlers, noting the pain in Sebastian's eyes seeing her under someone else's control. "I'll be hunting you down as you travel."

"Hunting us down?" Sebastian asked.

"Sending you two on a race to collect stamps isn't enough to understand the pain of Alois Trancy. You need to experience it first-hand, feeling like prey and defenseless."

At those words, Lilliana put her demon sword at their throats and taunted "Don't let me catch you~"

"In the meantime, I shall stay with the young master. She will give you a ten-minute head start, so you best be quick about collecting those stamps. Once she finds you, she'll be out for blood," Hannah said as she headed toward Ciel. Sebastian's and Claude were about to follow her since they viewed the quest childish, but Lilliana jumped in front of them and tried to slice them with her demon sword.

"Oh, shoot, I missed. I shouldn't need to say this, but you forced me: there is no cheating. Otherwise, I might need to kill you," she said with a sadistic giggle. The two demons had no choice, but to go through with this scheme. As promised, she gave them a head start into the hedge maze, leaving the two Reapers alone with her. Katia wanted to do everything she could to help her, but when she was looking and acting completely different from her usual self, she didn't know what to do. She even felt more hopeless that Sebastian had no idea how to help her.

"We have to do something, Grell. I would go alone, but I'm not at my strongest right now."

"Are you crazy? She will slice us up into bits if we try to help them. As much as I want to be close to Bassy, I'm more afraid of what this crazy bitch will do if she found us helping him."

"So you're telling me that if she managed to hurt Sebastian, you wouldn't do anything about it?"

"Oh, if she laid a finger on him, I'd make sure to slice her with my chainsaw and hope she doesn't get up."

"A little harsh, but you and I both know her mission is to hunt them down while they're going through the maze. We should be there to protect him in case he runs into her. After all, he might not be so keen on harming her, unlike you."

After a bit of self-debating, he sighed and said, "Fine, but this better be worth it."

"Well, I hope that Sebastian would be appreciative of your assistance and might give you a reward."

"A reward? Maybe like a kiss? He still owes me after I helped out the brat a long time ago."

"If you're lucky, I guess."

"Well, there's no time to lose! I'm coming to save you, Bassy~!" Grell said as he ran into the hedge maze full speed. Katia sighed in relief. That didn't take much convincing for him to change his mind.

Sebastian found himself in a predicament. In order to collect the stamps, they have to answer questions about Alois, but there was one catch: the questions weren't truthful, but rather biased according to Alois' twisted thinking. Now, he was wrapped by vines as Claude answered the question "correctly", got a stamp on his book, and ran ahead. Even with Sebastian's quick thinking, the vines only wrapped more and more around his body. "Lovely! Squeeze his supple flesh tighter! Yes! What a perfect shot! A perfect shot of agony!" Grell said as he tried to snap a photo of him tied up, but Katia had cut the vines to free him. "No fair! I was taking a very sexy photo of him!"

"I don't think now is the best time to take pictures," she said before they all heard the sound of clashing metal in the distance. "I guess she found Claude."

"I feared she would go after the person who was behind, but I guess it would make sense for her stop the person in the lead. It's best if we use the distraction to our advantage," Sebastian said as he ran towards wherever the next question was. He had to fill in to the Reapers what was going on as they ran so he would be spared of annoying questions, especially from the red headed nuisance. Though, the sound of clashing metal and even clothes and flesh tearing was unnerving for the Reapers. How is he fine with the sound they were leaving behind? Finally, they reached the next question that had two doors to choose from. One marked with an O and one with an X. Sebastian took the card and read, "True or False: Alois Trancy died a beautiful death, as was his due. His body was never defiled by Earl Trancy."

"What the devil is this about?" Grell asked, staying close to his man.

"The actual answer would be false. Though, the previous question had nothing to do with the real truth." Sebastian pondered a bit about what he should do while the Reapers looked with confused looks on their face. Even Grell knew the truth since he read Alois' Cinematic Record before and knew exactly how he died. However, Sebastian suddenly grabbed Grell's shoulders and said, "I need you!"

"Wh-What?" Grell exclaimed, surprised to hear the few of many words he was dying to hear from him. Katia couldn't help, but be a little excited about this, like the supportive friend she was, but she had to admit that this was a little suspicious, especially coming from Sebastian.

"I want to make you fly. You would enjoy that, wouldn't you?"

"Bassy," Grell whispered with a hint of red on his cheeks. "I'll fly for you." Sebastian picked him up bridal style and he was overjoyed. Katia let out a little squeal in excitement, but soon, Sebastian held him so Grell was above his head and threw him head-first to the door marked with an X. "Farewell, my love!" Grell shouted before there was an explosion and Katia gasped in horror.

"Thought so," Sebastian said coldly as he knocked down the correct door, where a table with a stamp was awaiting him. Though, they could see a fried Grell through an opening in the maze and she quickly ran to him.

"How could you be so cruel to her and play with her heart like that?" she said as she tried to help him, but couldn't do much."

"You two have sturdy bodies that can withstand mostly anything. As much as I wish that the explosion would destroy him, I knew he would survive."

"And you're not going to do anything about it?"

"I leave him in your care if you so wish, but I have a soul to reclaim."

"And what about Lilliana, huh? I know she's not a priority, but you still care for her. You just don't want to admit it because that's how demons are. I mean, who am I to judge? I'm an oddity to my own kind all because I have feelings for another person along with many other things."

"Do excuse me for sounding inconsiderate, but I do not have time to speak on this matter. With this maze being rigged in Claude's favor, I need all the time I can get to get to the young master."

"I'm not sure if you'll get there in time," a feminine voice said from behind them. Sebastian quickly got out of the way as he saw Lilliana pounce toward him and tried to slice him with the demon sword. Katia quickly got Grell out of the way of possible carnage before running back to Sebastian, but she debated if she wanted to aid in his fight. However, when they got a closer look at Lilliana, they realized the outcome of her fight with Claude. She was covered in blood and her clothes were torn, but it wasn't demon blood on her. In fact, it was her own blood slowly draining out of her.

"Lily," Katia said in a sad tone, but her tone changed to fearful as Lilliana lunged to her. Luckily, Katia took out her katana and blocked her attack.

"You really don't know when not to interfere in demon business. I should probably give you a lesson you can't forget," she said, but was soon kicked in the side by Sebastian, sending her flying away from her. "How rude of you! We were in the middle of a conversation. I should punish you for that," she said as she got up as if the powerful kick was nothing more than a gust of wind that made her lose her balance.

"H-How is she able to fight despite her injuries? A single blow with a demon sword has me weakened."

"Hannah allowed her demonic instincts to come out, even if she is under the delusion she is a human. On top of that, Hannah's Mark has made her numb to not just the marks on he bodies, but all types of pain. She is only a killing machine only seeking revenge," Sebastian explained, but quickly had to use his silverware to protect himself. Katia would fight too, but a too powerful of a swing could hurt her. Though, a thought did cross her mind.

"If demonic instincts can make you this strong, then there may be something I can do," she said as she got in between Sebastian and Lilliana. "You go and collect those stupid stamps and get that soul. I'll deal with her."

"And I'm supposed to believe that you are capable of—,"

"Just go," she said as she turned around, but her eyes were red just like Lilliana's when her demonic instincts kicked in. "It may not be much time, but it will be enough." Sebastian was surprised by this reveal, but didn't have time to question it further. He decided to head her instructions and quickly ran off, leaving the Reapers behind. Katia then faced Lily, who didn't seem to care what this revelation meant. "You're not the only one who is a Rogue Reaper, Lily," she said as she started fighting her with all her might. She hated to rely on this power, but at this point, she had to. Plus, with this strength, she was able to ignore her injury and fight at her full strength, if not more so. Though, if she wasn't careful, she could accidentally hurt Lilliana. She could only hope that she was able to hold her off long enough to get her back to her normal self.

Up above, Alois was watching down below, watching Claude especially get all the answers right and moving through the maze fairly quickly. Even when he fought against Lilliana, he did it so eloquently and without a scratch on him. "Brilliant! See how well Claude knows me? He doesn't hesitate. He knows all of me. Every last bit, right down to the deepest, most tender parts," he said as he repeatedly scratched his chest, making it bleed. He could feel the pain, but this wasn't his body and could do as he pleased to it.

"Perhaps you should be more careful, my lord."

"Worried about this body, are you? This precious body. You like Ciel Phantomhive more than me, too!" he said a he kicked Hannah to the ground. "Why is he so special? What does he have that I don't?! Answer me, Hannah! Answer me!" He repeatedly kicked her in the stomach. Sadly, she was used to this abuse from him. However, Lilliana, seemingly out of nowhere, dragged Alois away from her mistress. "Hey, let me go! Do you want me to hurt you too?"

"You need to show my lady some kindness or else I'll have to teach you a lesson in respect."

"Unhand me at once! Hannah is my servant, so you take orders from me too! Let me go!"

"Lilliana, please let our master go," Hannah said as she finally got up. She looked confused, but did as she was told, only to get slapped by the young master.

"That's what you get for not listening to me," he said. Despite her bloody appearance, he did not show any sympathy toward her as he was about to slap her again, but instead, she caught his hand. "Hey, whats the big idea—,"

"You think I'm not afraid to hurt you? I've just battled two demons and a Reaper and my bloodlust hasn't nearly been quenched. Just give me the order and I'll slit your throat," she said in a threatening tone, but all of the sudden, she felt something click inside of her and a splitting headache rampaged her mind. The pain was unbearable enough for her to make her fall to her knees and start to scream in agony. "Hannah, what's wrong with her?"

"I'm not sure, my lord," she said, but she soon received her answer as Lilliana opened her eyes and one of them was blue and the other was green, but as she blinked, her blue eye turned red. As she blinked, her eye color kept changing. Even though she had more of a hold on her, the medicine that made her easy to control was finally wearing off, forcing her to be her true self. However, since Hannah had the mark on her and forced her to be her vengeful human self, she was fighting it. It was only a matter of time before her true self came through.

Eventually, she seemed to calm down, but as Hannah had feared, her eyes were green and she seemed to be her old self. She weakly got up to save her young master, but like a slap to the face, her personality and her eyes changed to red and she was angry. "You promised you wouldn't use me like they did!" However, everything changed again as her eyes turned blue and she was fearful.

"How pathetic. She doesn't even know who she is," Alois said before he started to laugh menacingly, but soon, he started to experiment the same splitting headache as she did. Hannah ran to him in worry, hoping to soothe him somehow. "He's pitching some kind of fit, that little brat!" After a while, he was able to calm down, but a little bit of Ciel managed to slip into his consciousness and Hannah knew it.

"Look, the labyrinth is changing," she said as they observed the maze transforming, making new pathways and dead ends. "It was specifically designed to follow the dictates of your heart, my lord, only now, Ciel Phantomhive's will is exerting itself."

"His will?" Alois said angrily. "How dare you interfere, brat!" He started to punch his own body, not fearing the pain he would feel.

Hannah approached him despite fearing that any intervention would cause him to act out more. "Stop this, please! You'll hurt yourself as well. Please be careful."

"It's my game! There are things I want to ask Claude, too, you know!" However, he started to cry as he continued, "How greedy can you be? Don't you have enough? Of all people, Claude and Sebastian are trying to claim YOUR soul. Can't you enjoy that? How much more do you need?!"

"Young master," Lilliana said with a weak voice. They turned and her eyes were still changing from the three colors with every blink, but she tried her best to stick with one personality. Though, it never succeeded. "I need to help you . . . But why in earth would I help someone like that brat! . . . If my lady wishes it, then it should be done . . . Sebastian is fighting this battle and both of my colleagues are injured . . . Serves them right for getting in our way . . . I should have finished them off when I had the chance."

"What in earth is she blabbering about. Make her stop, Hannah!" Alois demanded.

"I'm afraid I don't know how, my lord. Her will is strong, but keep conflicting with each persona she has had in her life."

"Tch, useless as always. You might as well push her off the ledge," Alois said. Though, they are both distracted when Claude approached the final question stage and began reading the final question: why he killed Alois Trancy. He started giving the answer that Alois wanted, but soon, he revealed the truth: he killed him to gain a tool for Ciel's soul. Sadly, that wasn't the answer he wanted as the floor below Claude opened and he fell in. "Wh-Why . . . Why didn't you just lie? You should have known how the questions were made! So why," he said in distraught, but his anger started to boil as he looked at Lilliana, who seemed to stick with one personality: the defenseless human. It was possible that the wounds were finally catching up to her and the pain was becoming unbearable for her to move, but Alois didn't care. He soon walked up to her and started to drag her by her hair all the way to the ledge. She did try to fight back, but her efforts were too weak to stop him. "Despite all these wounds, she is still able to move."

"My lord, don't be so cruel," she said as she tried to help, but Alois already pushed her so close to the edge that if Lilliana moved suddenly, she would fall.

He made her face down below and said, "Just look at how pathetic you are. Not only can you not stop either of them from reaching the end, but now you're going to let a human treat you like dirt. Perhaps it would be better if you just died." He then kicked her off the edge and she started to fall, but didn't let out a scream. Alois turned back to Hannah and said in an angry, yet pained tone, "One of your servants is falling and you won't save her? Who's the cruel one now?"

"I have no fear she will perish; Reapers like her are hard to kill. Still," Hannah said as she hugged the distraught Alois, who did not want to be comforted. "Why should you fight this all alone, big brother?"

Down below, Claude just finished answering the final question yet again. He had answered it "wrong" the first time and had to start the maze from the very beginning. However, the questions were no longer like trivia, but rather, serious questions regarding Hannah and Luka. All this time, it wasn't Sebastian that had signed the contract with Luka, but Hannah. Apparently, she became obsessed with both of their souls and wanted them to stay as close as they can despite that she devoured his soul when their contract ended. That's what made her stay all this time despite the constant abuse. Still, the same question was the same as before: why did he murder Alois? He repeated his answer, "I killed him to gain Ciel Phantomhive." However, despite Alois learning the truth, the answer was still wrong and the floor opened below him, but he wasn't going to fall for the same trick. He jumped in the air to avoid falling, but vines tried to wrap around him. Luckily, he managed to dodge them, but then a pillar tried to fall on him, only to miss. Though, once he thought he was safe, another trapdoor opened below him and he almost fell in. He held on to the ledge with his hands, but Sebastian started to approach him.

"Good evening, Claude. So nice to see you," he said mockingly. However, he was distracted as he noticed Lilliana falling from the high clock tower like a rag doll. Despite the possible dangers of interacting with her, he quickly jumped up to catch her. He was relieved that she didn't try to attack him while he was trying to rescue her, but the fact she didn't try was just as concerning. When he caught her, she seemed to be unconscious and he landed on his feet. However, as she slowly woke up, he noticed that her eyes were back to her usual green color, despite the mark still on her left eye. "Lilliana," he said in relief, but that didn't last long as they changed to a combination of red and blue and she immediately started to Sebastian. He backed away in time, but even he could notice that she had no control in her actions. Her attacks were sloppy compared to before, mainly because she acted as if she was holding herself back. Eventually, he found a way to subdue her by pinning her to the ground and kept her there until she stopped fighting, but he didn't know how long that would last. "What is happening," he said under his breath, but was distracted when he heard his young master, the true Ciel, call out to him.

"Don't just stand there! You did your part; you helped me get my revenge. This is an order: eat my soul right now! Until the final moment when you've devoured every drop of my soul, you remain my butler." However, Alois returned into consciousness as he said, "You want Ciel? Well, that's too bad! I'll get rid of everyone who doesn't love me and if that good-for-nothing maid can't do the job properly, then maybe I can." Alois and Hannah soon entered the clock tower, out of the sight of the deities below.

"Does he intend to make a contract with Hannah?" Claude said.

"If you don't hurry, he will," Lilliana said in a calm voice. He finally released her and luckily for him, she didn't fight back. Though, with every blink, her eyes would change color and her body language would match the personality associated with the color.

"For the time being, it seems we must focus our efforts onto one target," Sebastian said.

"As much as I hate to admit it, I must agree," Claude said before the two demons raced for the top to save their master.

Down below, Lilliana contemplated helping them, but even she knew it was too late. With the Mark on her eye, she could sense a vague sense of accomplishment, meaning her goal was met despite what anything the butlers could to stop it. She won. All she can do now is play her role as the witness of the demonic contract, even if it was null and void. Knowing Alois, whatever they have planned for them and Ciel would be something she would have no control over. All she can do is watch.
