A/N: Sorry for not updating for very long. I had serious writer's block and also many events that kept popping up that prevented me from completing this story. Here's Chapter 11. Chapter 12 is still in progress but it will be out soon.

Matt had gotten back outside to his team with a solemn look on his face. He knew that the biggest decision would be upon him soon but for now, it was time to focus on the problem at hand.

"So, what did Thomas say?" asked Andres.

"We're gonna have to find Darius and reclaim or destroy my sword," answered Matt. He then gestured towards the Genshin Impact and EBF characters. "As for you guys, Matt Roszak emailed me and revealed that in order for me to return everyone back to their proper world, I not only need to ensure that all the characters and game items are gathered but also that the same console, along with the same computer are being used."

"I see," said Seth. "So which computer did you use?"

"I used a Lenovo double hinged multipurpose laptop that has a broken screen and hinge. It's currently being fixed at a hardware store," responded Matt. "From what I know, it should be ready to pick up in a week or two."

"Guess the only thing left to do then is to stop Darius. Anyone have an idea of where he could be?" asked Andres.

"School?" asked Seth. "We still have it for a long while and he can't just ditch."

"I don't think so. Remember, he rarely has any classes and his parents aren't even home," replied Matt.

"Then where could he be?" asked Edward.

"I've got a few locations but none of them are guaranteed."

The four heroes turned to the casually dressed Lance.

"I sent several of my drones out and four of them managed to capture his location," explained Lance. "However, each one of them is only showing an open portal in a different area."

"Of course, he's using portals so it's possible for him to open four of them and use them simultaneously," realized Edward.

"Are there any guards?" asked Matt. "Thomas mentioned us going through several different trials before meeting Darius."

"Trials?" asked Lance. "I don't see any trials but if anything, I do see a dark figure guarding each portal."

"In any case," said Andres. "We should really get going."

"Hang on, we still don't know what we're up against."

"Matt, we can't wait any longer. Who knows what Darius is going to do?"

Matt looked at his friends and sighed. "Okay. Everyone, get your equipment. It's time."
