Chapter 15
I have to say, whichever civilization was responsible for building this place, did a really good job.
After all, even when that monster kept using Her tail to try and crush me, it could not even leave marks on the ground despite the attack having enough strength behind it to obliterate a mountain.
Truly, a wonder of architecture.
I stopped my musing to dodge Her bite, and prepared for Her to resume lashing out Her tail at me.
She didn't.
Instead, She retreated and stared at me, as light gathered within Her maws.
The hair on my neck stood on it's end, but before I could prepare myself, Leviathan opened Her jaws.
And a river of light blinded me.
I could feel the immense power burning my Spiritual Vessel away, far stronger than even Surtr's icy aura, which would have frozen me to death had it not been for Medea's armor.
That Elder Dragon's flames was like a small bonfire when compared to this hell.
And the last thing I could think before my vision faded away, was that once again a village would be slaughtered because I wasn't good enough.
Wasn't fast enough.
Wasn't strong enough.
…Unacceptable.
Instead of a new World, I was greeted by the hellish sight of a blood sea that extended beyond the horizon. And countless voices whispered in my ears.
"Will you just accept your end like that?"
What else can I do? My Vessel has faded away, and I have no control over where and when I will be summoned.
"But doesn't that piss you off?"
Of course it does.
"Don't you want to make Her pay?"
…Of course I do.
"Then you already have your answer, don't you? About what you can do."
Yes. Yes, I do.
"I will make her pay. Pay in blood. Blood for the Blood God."
As the breath attack faded away, Leviathan saw the golden particles that signified the departure of the one who dared to mess with Her children.
Well, there's always the next Blood Moon.
Before the being known as Behemoth's aquatic counterpart could dive once more into the sea, something caught it's attention.
A small totem had not been destroyed by Her attack. And a crimson mist seemed to leave it's original container and mix with the motes of light, changing their color to the same as the moon that night.
A bloody red.
And the totem, originally glowing an ominous red, now glowed a peaceful golden that stopped the particles from disappearing.
And then, suddenly, it flashed green with great intensity for a second, and the particles merged once again into one being.
His pig mask, no longer could be seen. In it's place, the skull of an unknown creature covered his face. His hair, once a deep brown hidden beneath his mask, now was bright pink, braided and free from confinement. His once humane ears, now briefly reminded those of the witch Circe.
And as he opened his eyes, the red pupils seemed to glow like magical stones, and the black of his sclera sucked away all the light.
And as She roared at the now threatening presence that she felt, he roared back.
And so, they fought. Every one of Her attacks, which before were evaded by him, were now received head on, and even countered with some of his own. Her breath attack, that managed to burn him into ashes moments before, now only left him a little charred. And his attacks that before only took a few scales from her body, now managed deep cuts into her flesh.
And after many clashes, the Queen of the Seas fell.
And a new King stood above her corpse, as Her body transformed into a sea green crown with polished blue sapphires decorating it.
And as his body slowly disappeared into golden light, a blood sparrow was formed by his will, and it flew away.
The villagers of Nagalaut would receive the message spoken by the blood sparrow, and investigate where the island supposedly sunk, only to find it still stands, with many traces of battle, but none of the man who aided them or the serpent that tormented them.
They would celebrate that day as the day thy were freed, the day one of the Calamities fell. The first of many to come.
The beginning of the Second Age of Men on Earth.
The day a new legend was born.
And the true nature of that man, only a small family would know, passing that knowledge down, together with a small wooden bear given by that man to their ancestor as a farewell gift. Something he crafted during the night, instead of sleeping.
Left should Inana or her family ever need to summon him again.
The King of the Bloody Seas.
The Blood God.
My last journey to fulfill all my legends was the longest of all four, for I spent decades trapped in a dimension outside of time, filled with countless monsters, all of which had to perish by my hands so I could leave. And as my third and fourth classes were corrupted by the totem, my last adventure was to awaken the Noble Phantasm of the Caster Class, instead of the Archer one. And awaken it I did. So with all four sub-Classes filled, and with decades of fighting experience under my belt, I was finally deemed worthy by Gaea to go help the Human Order.
As such, after so long, I finally awakened in Orleans.
And with that we finally have Jacob join the Grand Order. The last of his adventures will remain untold, with maybe some brief tidbits told here and there. This might change later on as he interacts with the Chaldeans, as Jacob will consider his time in the Monsterverse (Something like the Servantverse, except it has no human Servants or human mobs, just the creatures, like Space Wyverns.) as the true origin of his legend, and as his longest and most recent adventure before Chaldea, it will still be affecting him. And though his last Noble Phantasm is based on Solo Levelling, his normal Caster abilities diverge quite a bit.

Class Skills
[CORRUPTED] Sub-Class System (C): Allows a servant to take on the attributes of 4 different Classes among the main 7. In Jacob's case, the available classes are Assassin, Saber, Caster and Foreigner.
Personal Skills
Presence Concealment (A): Hides one's presence as a Servant. Suitable for spying. It is possible to disappear completely and become nearly impossible to be detected. The rank of Presence Concealment drops considerably when preparing to attack. As this Skill has surpassed the maximum level without legendary feats on it's base form, it'll retain it's rank regardless of sub-Class.
Magic Resistance (EX): Completely nullifies effects of almost every harmful magecraft. Originally, Jacob had no Magical Resistance due to being a modern Heroic Spirit, but because of his Skill Gaea's Blessing, he was bestowed with the lowest level of Magic Resistance and managed to raise it's rank after enduring magical attacks countless times. As this Skill has surpassed the maximum level without legendary feats on it's base form, it'll retain it's rank regardless of sub-Class.
Riding (C): One can flawlessly manage beasts and vehicles if they have received the proper training and adjustments. Most vehicles and animals can be handled with above average skill. However, cannot ride the likes of Phantasmal Species such as Monstrous Beasts. Due to being summoned at least once as a Knight Class for his sub-Class, this Skill has been granted to Jacob, though should his sub-Class change to any Class different from Saber, Lancer or Archer, the rank of the Skill will be dropped by one.
Independent Action (A+): The Servant can operate without a Master. With a Rank of A+ that exceeds even A, the support of a Master is unnecessary even while unleashing a large amount of Magical Energy. It is an ability that bends the rules and allows for the continued materialisation of Servants even after the conclusion of a Holy Grail War. After enduring a long period of time without a Master, thanks to Gaea's Blessing, Jacob has been bestowed with this Skill.
Blessing of the Fire God (A): Acknowledged by the Fire God Ignis, Jacob was bestowed with the ability to wield godly flames through swordsmanship. His Attributes also receive a boost whenever this Skill is put into use.
Protection from Arrows (C): Moderate chance of automatic evasion against thrown weapons that comprise arrows.
[NEW] Darkness Manipulation (EX): Turn into shadows, control shadows, speak to shadows, travel through shadows, the possibilities are nearly endless. The limits are in the Mage's imagination. And mana pool, of course.
Noble Phantasms
The Oath of an Assassin (EX - Assassin sub-Class Exclusive): There are three verses in the oath. The first, "Other men blindly follow the truth. I know that nothing is true." allows Jacob to break out of any illusion or Reality Marble, as it denies both. The second, "Other men are bound by morality or law. To me, everything is permitted.", gives him the ability to break free from anything physical or mystical that might be binding him. And the third, "I walk in the shadows, to serve the light. I am an ASSASSIN", greatly increases Jacob speed and strength, which allows him to deal significant damage to the enemy, and it can also create a zone of darkness should Jacob desire, to aid him in his attack. However, unlike spells where the more verses, the more powerful the magecraft, should Jacob choose to chant more than one verse, they must be chanted according to the order they were made, and the power of the verse(s) that follow the first to be chanted will be greatly decreased.
Dance of the Fire God (EX - Saber sub-Class Exclusive): Calling upon the apex of the swordsmanship according to the path developed by Ignis, the Fire God born in an alternate timeline, Jacob can deal a strike capable of burning even Gods to ashes, but only so long as his heart remains righteous during every step.
Holy Armor - Fenrir (EX - Saber sub-Class Exclusive): A samurai armor without helmet crafted by Medea, a witch born during the Age of Gods, using the remains of the Divine Beast Fenrir. It has been permanently fused with Jacob's Legend thanks to a Magical Source on the level of a Holy Grail, and equipping it grants him immunity to all fire and curse damage of rank A and below. If he expends Magical Energy, it can heal him from all damage suffered in battle. It also makes all non-Divine wolf creatures weaker than Jacob to submit to his commands, and makes Divine wolf creatures friendly to him unless attacked by him or commanded by someone else.
Blood for the Blood God (EX - Foreigner sub-Class Exclusive): By sacrificing his humanity, Jacob attains transcendental power. He also receives the Authority of the Blood God, though what that entails remains unknown.
Rise, my army of dead (EX - Caster sub-Class Exclusive): All the enemies Jacob slayed in the Monsterverse rise from his shadow to fight for him as undying shadows. Their numbers are in the house of billions, but he can significantly lower the power usage of this Noble Phantasm by summoning a lesser amount of shadows.
