A couple of months later, Mirabel was in her room all dressed and ready. She looked at the digital calendar, seeing what day it is, and have a feeling that new recruits would arrive today or maybe tomorrow. The more to be part of the program, the more the merrier. And hopefully they're friendly too. She does wish she get to see Carlos again but calculating on how long from traveling from Pandora to Earth is another five years.

Once she was done, Mirabel quickly got out of her room and walked the hall. For a couple of months, Mirabel has worked a lot ever since she got her avatar. Her mind and muscles have become clever and strong, but in her memories, she still remembers the ways of the Na'vi and gotten the language better.

As Mirabel reached to the lab, everyone was hustling and bustling with work. She will be busy too once she gets in her avatar body.

"Morning Mira." Max spoke.

"Morning. Any word on the new members yet?" she asked.

"We heard that they're on their way soon. Also, you're mom..."

"I know, I know. Waiting for me at the cabin." said Mirabel. "Is the link bed ready?"

"Ready and to be set."

Mirabel smiled at her friend and walked towards her link bed. Before she starts lying down, she put her glasses off and set them to the side of the table and then closed the lid. Closing her eyes and clearing her mind, Mirabel could hear the sounds coming from the machine until everything went bright.

A moment later, a pair of golden began to open and blinked a few times. Now in her avatar body, Mirabel was now out of her cot and starts leaving the cabin. Seeing everyone training and of course there were the AMPs walking around, but then she saw Grace.

"Hey mom." she spoke as she came to her.

"Hey, butterfly. Glad you're up."

"So, what's the training for today? Anything new or just original?" Mirabel asked.

"Just original. As always." Grace answered and Mirabel groaned.

"Man, I really wish there's something new we could add."

"Wish that too. But nothing will."

"If only... If only the forest, be a new obstacle."

Grace looked at her daughter for a moment as she heard the word 'forest' and Mirabel raising his hands up in offense.

"I'm just saying..."

"I know. But sadly, we can't." said Grace but then she softly smiled. "I'll tell you what. How about by the time the new recruits come here, tomorrow we'll go to the forest. I just need to some research with Dr. Spellman when he comes."

"You mean it?" Mirabel's head looked up as she looked surprised.

"It's a promise."

"Yes!" she jumped, and Grace chuckled.

"Now go train."

Mirabel nodded her head and dashed off to the obstacles. Grace watched her adopted daughter go as she started training. For five and a half long years, she has raised this lost little girl into becoming a bright, intellegent, remarkable young lady. All the lessons she has given her and caring the girl needed, was something Grace couldn't be prouder. Suddenly, after a few minutes that is almost to an hour, the scientist's thoughts were snapped back into reality as someone spoke to her.

Grace looked down to see one of the scientists appeared to her. Mirabel stopped her training for a moment as she was catching her breath, but then looked up to see her mom talking to one of the scientists. A second later, as the scientist walked away, Grace looked at her daughter with a smirk.

"Time to wake up, Mirabel. They're here."

Mirabel looked at her mother for a moment and realized what she was saying. New recruits have finally arrived. She went back to the cabinet as she could see her mother was now already on her cot, falling asleep so her human body could wake. She quickly got on her cot and starts lying down. Closing her eyes and clearing her mind off of things, Mirabel was now asleep until everything went white.

Mirabel's human eyes started to open and looked around as she was in the link chamber. She starts lifting the lid up as it was now open and let out a stretch as she sat up. She then looked to see Max with some people that has faces that she has never seen before. She smiled to know they are the new recruits and got up as she was walking towards them.

"Ah, Mira. Glad your awake." Max spoke as he notices her, and the new recruits looked at her. "Mira, I like you to meet Norm Spellman."

"Nice to meet you." Mira said to him as she shook his hand.

"You as well."

"And also, Jake Sully."

Mirabel looked at the other man who was in the wheelchair as he just raises his hand as a wave and Mirabel looked confused.

"Jake?" She questioned as she looked at Max. "I thought his name was..."

"And here she is, Cinderella back from the ball." Max spoke as all four approaches to Grace coming up but still smoking.

Mirabel quickly walked past Max and stood beside her mother.

"Grace, I'd like you to meet Norm Spellman and Ja..."

"Norm." Grace interrupted him as she was now facing the new recruit. "I hear good things about you. How's your Na'vi?"

"May the All Mother smile upon our first meeting." Norm spoke in Na'vi language.

Mirabel looked impress including Grace as she nods his head.

"You spoke well." Mirabel said to him in native tongue.

"Not bad. You sound a little formal." said Grace as she spoke Na'vi.

"There is still much to learn."

"Uh, Grace..." Max spoke as he interrupted her and Norm's native conversation and then pointed at Jake. "This is Jake Sully."

"Ma'am." Jake spoke as he reaches his hand for a shake, but Grace looked at him.

"Yeah, yeah, I know who you are, and I don't need you. I need your brother."

'Brother?' Mirabel thought as he looked at him. 'But... he looks so much like Tom. Are they twins?'

"You know... the PhD who trained three years for this mission?" Grace questioned as she looked at Max.

"He's dead." Jake spoke which Mirabel looked surprise. "I know it's a big inconvenience to everyone."

"How much lab training have you had?" Grace questioned as she looked at him.

"I dissect a frog once."

'Is this guy for real?' Mirabel thought as she looked disbelief.

"You see? You see? I mean they're messing with us without even the courtesy of calling it." said Grace as she looked at Max and then walks away. "I'm going to Selfridge."

"Oh, come on. No!" Mirabel as she looked at her.

"Grace, that's not a good idea." said Max as he went after her, but Grace stopped him as she argues with him.

Max sighed and then stood beside Jake.

"Here, tomorrow, on eight hundred. Try to use big words." he said to him and walks away.

Mirabel sighed as she watched her mom exiting the room but then turned to face Norm and Jake.

"So... how long have you known Dr. Augustine?" Norm asks as he wanted to get acquainted to her.

"Five years." she answered and smiled. "She's my adopted mom."

Norm and Jake looked at her in shock on hearing the word 'mom'.

"How old are you?" Jake questioned.

"Just turned fifteen a couple of months ago before you two arrived."

"And how did you get to Pandora at a young age."

"Well... that's kind of a long story."

"Please tell us away." Norm spoke as he smiled.

"Question first. Have you ever believed in magical miracles?" she asked.

Norm and Jake looked at each other in confusion and looked back at Mirabel as she starts her story at the very beginning. They started to listen as Mirabel explained about her grandfather's sacrifice and the miracle of Encanto. Telling them that her family were blessed with special gifts they received at the age of five. But then told them about that she didn't receive a gift and was kicked out of the family at a very young age. That shocked them.

"So, this... golden butterfly leads you to Pandora?" Jake questioned.

"Not here first. It did lead me through the mountain from Encanto to the path that leads to the village. I didn't know why it led but I went there... alone. That's when I saw the rocket ship. I also didn't know why it was there until a group of people came running towards it and well... accidently pushed me in." Mirabel told them. "Then I met Carlos. He's works on the ship. He did look after since I can't get out and the doors were locked. For five years, when I was almost to ten, I've traveled through space when I was in cyrosleep."

"Then you finally made it to Pandora." said Norm.

"Yes. Carlos was still with me but then he took me to Grace. He's also a friend to her. That's when Grace took me under her wing and showed me the avatars. Then I asked her to teach me about them, the Na'vi, and Pandora. And she did."

"So, for almost six years, you've lived in Pandora and been learning the science life of Pandora." said Norm and then smiled. "Gotta say, for the first child on Pandora, you're actually pretty smart and enjoyed the life of Pandora."

"Indeed, I have." Mirabel smiled and then looked at Jake as he looked disbelief.

Don't know if he doesn't believe in miracles or not. He looked like he was ignoring them, and Mirabel glanced.

"Seems we have a disbeliever. Mr. Sully, would you care to share your thoughts on my story?"

Jake scoffed with a half-smile as he looked at her.

"Your backstory from home was a bit tragic and all, but the whole magic and hidden city that's... that's bull. Is Encanto like what... hidden city of Atlantis or... what El Dorito?"

"El Dorado." Mirabel corrected as she frowned at him. "And no, they are nothing like that."

"Still... no such thing as magic."

"To you, maybe, Wheel Man. But if you ever thought of stepping a foot of the forest of Pandora, even at night, you will see how much magical it is. And it's nothing like back on Earth or Encanto." Mirabel glared at him just this once and then walked away. "You two get some sleep. You'll start the program tomorrow. As Max says, eight hundred on the dock."

Mirabel exited the lab and took a few breaths as she was calming her down. If she was like her aunt, a storm cloud will appear on her. She thought of Norm for a bit and he was cool but to Jake... he's more of a Butt-Brain. Couldn't believe that she doesn't believe her, but on second thought, maybe Jake was having a hard on things. Going through a war, lost the ability to walk and also lost his brother. Maybe she should give him a chance once he learns a thing or two.

As she finally reaches to her room and enter, Mirabel laid down on her bed and starts resting her eyes. Felt like it's been a long day, but it was a short one as she finally met the recruits. And tomorrow, they will experience their new avatar bodies. Hope Jake won't do anything too stupid like a skxawng. Mirabel chuckled a little until she finally falls asleep.

To Be Continued...

Author's Note: Sorry for the long wait. There's been some writer's block and a lot of stuff that I have been busy of things.

I also wanted to tell you about that there were some people don't like the death parts in the Avatar movies. But I want to let you guys know that I'm not doing the changes. I just want to go through like in the movie. If you all don't like the death parts... just don't read it, then.
