One year later, on Earth, there was an enormous island full of nature such as plants, trees, grasses, and flowers, it was inhabited by woodland animals, birds, and bugs living peacefully. However, not all of the nature on the island, besides the forest, there was an apocalyptic abandoned city covered in green vegetation, and all of the vehicles were broken and damaged. The island was once a modern city but because of man-made and natural disasters, all of humanity to extinction. Back in the forest, a familiar chrysalis cocoon appeared out of nowhere, it cracked open to reveal a young girl with mid-white skin and black hair inside but with a bag and necklace on her neck. She opened her eyes, revealing a pair of black eyes, she looked up and found herself on an island while she was in a cocoon. The girl tried to get up but fell, she pushed the ground and was able to stand up on the ground and walk around. She looked at herself covered in a white gooey web-like substance all over her instead of her pink dress while she was teleported somewhere so she went to look for something she could bathe herself. The girl walked out and explored the forest all alone while covered in slimy cobwebs all alone in the woods by herself, suddenly entering the jungle. Through the middle of the jungle, Abyzou was still looking for something to bathe herself, but she eventually reached the cliff and was confused about that. However, unaware of this, she accidentally slipped off and fell off the cliff onto the waterfalls where she was soaked in clean water.
"Ahh!" the girl gasped, popping her head out of the water, then diving out of the water and swimming up and down while washing down the slimy goos off of her until she saw that the waterfall had a grotto. She swam toward the grotto, entering through the waterfall inside. In the grotto, Annika saw that there was a deteriorated pirate ship filled with human objects, antiques, artifacts, and other stuff.
"Wow." she was surprisingly impressed that she didn't know that there was a pirate ship. She saw that there was a white blank pirate flag which happened that the symbol was unknown. The girl used her telepathy power to find out if the flag wasn't made out of animals, it turned out that the fabric was made out of organic cotton when some pirates used to make it, she wrapped it around her body and tied a brown rope around her waist, securing it gently. The girl climbed up to the edge of the ship, marching toward the door, she twisted the knob to open it and enter it. In the room, the girl saw that there were so many books to learn since she didn't remember being homeschooled as a child but they were deteriorated and disheveled.
"Mmmm." the girl wondered, reaching her hands into the books and trying to read them only for them to reverse band repaired back into their old selves. The girl remembered that she had the sack ba, took it off, opened it, and gathered the learning books into the sack bag.
Upon loading the learning books, she decides to school herself all alone, slowly regaining her memory, she attempts to teleport to the forest but because of this, she loses her powers and is left alone and has no choice but to walk on her own. Back in the middle of the jungle, the girl returns, places the sack bag filled with books on the tree, walks out, leaves them behind, and heads back to get more. Back at the ship, the girl goes off and goes around the room to collect some items such as furniture. Then, she saw that there were materials and tools that the pirates had kept before they died. She opened the lid of the toolbox to reveal that it contained instruments such as a building hammer, stone ax, wooden nails, wooden shovel, and a pair of metal shears that the pirates had used to keep for years, the girl goes somewhere goes back to the middle of the jungle near the shore where she uses some tools to build the first location: a hut that she can able to store some of those things she has. Then, the girl returned to the grotto to collect the discarded wooden planks that had already deteriorated centuries ago.
"Okay, now for the crop that the book told me about the plot." the girl said, she used the shovel to dig around the area, and she used the saw to cut the broken half of the planks into the perfect size for a crop before she used the hammer to hammer them around the edges of the soils. After that, she used the ropes she had from the ship and tied them around the edges to keep the planks in place, "Now, I just have to find the tree so that I can build the house." she determined.
As the girl was looking for a tree for shelter, she came across the big jungle tree so she liked it and decided to use it for shelter, she gathered some of the tools and materials to build. First, she built a ladder that could climb up through the jungle tree, once she climbed in the middle of the trunk and went down to the ground. Second, she needed to build the floor so she used the planks to build some floors, which propped up on four supporting pillars. After that, she goes back to the jungle tree so she can expand the floor, leaving the floors hanging up. the girl went to gather the palm leaves that came from the palm tree and headed to build the thatch wall to make a room along with the window and the door. Without the door, the girl goes back to the grotto to retrieve the door that has the nails with it. Once she removed the door and the nails, she went out and removed the nails from the broken door, she used the building hammer to build a thatch door made out of palm leaves and planks which allowed access to closed rooms for sure. The first room is the living room, it has a wooden shelf filled with books located on the front left of the wall, and there was a rug that happened from the ship. There were tables with chairs she had built earlier which she could study, or eat. Around there were lanterns that the girl had found. There another tank was a sundial, a pot of flowers she found while in the jungle, and a bag. On the other way, there was a stair which the girl went to build another room. The room was a dining room with large storage that stored items, there were storage trunks that could store foods as well as wooden utensils. There in the center was another table and chairs while the girl went to gather the clay to build bowls as well as retrieve the plates and utensils she found from the ship. Once the dining room is finished, the girl becomes extremely exhausted and she goes to take a break.
"Phew, this is the hard work I've got." the girl panted, drifting to get a rest.
The next day, the girl goes searching for food; first she same across the coconut tree which reminds her of what Helmaer told her when she was young. The girl used the ax to chop the coconuts onto the basket she crafted and headed home so she extracted the milk from the large bottle she found. The girl takes out the sack bag for food to collect. In the cave where the girl retrieved the cave mushrooms were all over the walls. Then she goes to find more food, the girl walks around the island and sees that there are, potatoes, beets, and red berries so she collects them. On the other side of the jungle, the girl was walking to look for more, until she came across the trees of mangos, apples, and bananas.
"Mmmmm... fruits." she was satisfied, she used the ax to chop the fruit off of the trees onto the sack bag and headed back to store them in the food storage shed that was located next to the hut. She resumed to find more resources, when she was in the jungle and saw there was a pile of watermelon crops as well as redberry bushes and strawberry bushes, she collected them as her food and went home. Once the foods were stored in the food storage shed, the girl used the seeds of the food resources for the crops to plants. While gardening the food, the girl was bringing some water to rain on the crops, just then, the flock of seagulls came by and saw the food while the girl turned around to see it. Seeing her beautiful nature within her, the seagulls suddenly liking to the girl and decided to become friends with her, while respecting her as their guardian. But when one of the seagulls landed on her hand who saw it thought she realized seagulls were the reincarnation of the pirates who died years ago.
"So you're all the pirates reincarnated into seagulls." she thought, "I have treasure I kept for you." she reminded the seagulls who saw that the girl had the treasure she had and happily thanked her. The seagulls go up to gather some animals that could accompany her as their queen to respect. In the cave where Mama Bear and her cubs were sleeping, they woke up and saw the flock of seagulls calling for them to come over, the bears went to be with the seagulls. Next, the rest of the island animals saw where the bears and the seagulls were headed, they joined them as they reached to treehouse where the girl was surprised by them as she didn't know if she wanted to have animal friends.
"Do you want to be friends." she smiled, asking the animals if they become friends, so they agreed and decided to keep her as their own.
When Annika was able to finish building her treehouse, she built a bedroom that was a hammock to sleep all night while the animals built the roofs to complete the treehouse.
"Good night, fellow." smiled Annika as she went to sleep.
Five months later, the girl is now living on an island as her home to live with some animals as her friends who accompanied her. Down from the treehouse, Annika was cooking her vegan dish, she used the coconut milk to make a stew while putting beets and potatoes. Once it finished, Annika served the food to the animals who liked it.
"I hope you like my dish." smiled Annika.
While the animals were eating the stew, a tiny bee was weak and onto one of the monkeys' bowls when it ate it which it stung. The monkey screeches in pain while Annika goes to check on it, she opens her mouth and sees that there is a poor bee inside.
"Oh poor thing," said Annika.
So, Annika decided to tend the bee, even if it became a friend to her. She and the bee are spending their time together while the animals are jealous of the bee. A few days later, the bee becomes sad and lonely, but Annika uses her powers to find that it missed its family.
"So you missed your families." thought Annika sadly, feeling that her best friend was missing her family which reminded her of how she was told by Helmaer to return the animals to their respective families. Annika took the bee to find its family, while looking for the beehive she needed to know where it was, but then she finally made it to find the beehive filled with bees to live. "Here you go." she smiled, placed the bee in the hive, and left it.
Seeing that Annika was leaving it, the bee decided that it would be with her for sure as well as the bees also wanting to. Back at the treehouse, Annika was about to sleep, but then she saw that the bees come back with their families and to the animals' dismay decided to accept them as one of nature. The next day, Annika was making her vegan breakfast for her and her animal friends, she gathered some of the fruits such as watermelon, pineapple, red berries, banana, coconut, apple, mango, and strawberry.
"These are fruit compote," said Annika, the bees brought some honey in addition to the fruit compote.
One of the bees generously gave Annika a honeycomb to eat and she liked it because bee friends loved her so much as well while she was eating the fruit compote along with the animals who became liked to the honeycombs the bees got. The animals gathered all of the flowers as gratitude for the bees who happily accepted and decided to make more honey as resources for them, Annika, and the animals. At night time, Annika is sitting on the hammock with a bear cub who is lying next to her the animals become envious of it due to their friendship with Annika. The next day, Annika built a raft made out of wood which had now run out but she still had to build a new plank she had crafted. Then she built a flag that could be used for the raft. Once she was sailing, Annika used some diving tools to try and dive into the underwater. Underwater, Annika started to experience her liking for sea animals but then she saw that there was a sea turtle that was chased by a ferocious shark who wanted to eat it. Fearing that the turtle will be eaten, Annika swims toward to save it and punches the shark with her fist.
"Bad shark, be nice to the turtle, not food." scolded Annika, the shark felt sorry for the turtle, so he spit it out and apologized to it for what it did. Therefore, Annika forgave the shaker and adopted the shark and the turtle.
"I'm sorry, can I be your friend." smiled the male shark, "I'm Gus and I like your beauty with nature," he commented after introducing himself to Annika who was surprised that she can communicate with some animals she met.
"Wow, you can talk." shocked Annika.
"Yes," responded Gus, he removed the stroke she had, causing her to panic that she could not breathe.
"I can't breathe." overwhelmed Annika.
"Just breathe," Gus told Annika to breathe underwater. Annika inhales and exhales to breathe underwater for good and she can talk underwater.
"I can't talk and breathe." relieved Annika, but was spoke about what Gus said to her, "How is that possible." wondered Annika.
"Trust me," said Gus, Annika swam up to the raft and jumped on it while Gus grabbed the rope to pull the raft back to the island.
Back to the island where Annika was bathed in the waterfall, just then, the flock of bats came by and Annika spotted them, which cheered her up immediately. One of them saw Annika's beauty and nature within her and they smiled at her, this encouraged Annika to fight for her life against her dark past. Once she bathed, she wore her sailcloth again and headed home while a hog came out of nowhere and followed her. At the treehouse, while cooking the vegan dishes for her and her animal families and friends, Annika was preparing the meals when she set the table up, but then she saw that there was a hog who smiled and was hungry. Seeing that the hog was starving to death, Annika decided to adopt it as her before the animals saw the hog and smiled to welcome it.
"Hello, what's your name." smiled Annika.
"Henry." said the hog who was male.
"Henry, would you like to stay with me." smiled Annika, Henry nodded in agreement, "Really, I love you."
Annika, Henry, and the animals are now eating their suppers at night, even the bees are also sharing their supper with the hornets who were invited to become the family animals for Annika. After their supper, Annika and the animals are headed to get some sleep tonight together. Meanwhile, the seagulls were flying with some cooked algae salad they made for the sea animals who were hungry for vegan foods. They dropped the salad onto the ocean water where the fishes and the other creatures were eating their vegan supper.
"Hmmm, that was delicious." satisfied Gus, munching the algae salad.
Back on the island, the ground of the serpent family were at Annika's treehouse to sleep with her in the hammock, because they always loved her and her nature. The group of monkeys were lying on the floor with Evergreen who was sleeping while snoring so loudly. The gang of platypuses were sleeping in the cave next to the bear families. On the ceilings, the bats were hanging themselves to get some sleeping. On the tree were a couple of birds west nesting their babies who chirping and drifted to sleep. On the clay vase that Annika had crafted, some of the lizards and chameleons were sleeping inside together. On the web within the ceiling of the roof, the spiders and their babies were lying down and gazing at the stars. Annika is shown that she was setting her hammock up along with the serpent family she was with.
"I hope that I'm sure that someday I'll find true love from my fairy tales for me and live happily ever after." desired Annika, while glazing at the star too, she is seemingly still lonely of not having a true love and live her happily ever after as her own life.
The rest of the animals saw Annika being slowly depressed about not having the true love for herself she ever wanted, but they still have her because they always loved her so much no matter what kind of true love that being the circle of life can be like a balance between love and care, even they never lose her to someone who came for her while they started to make a sacrifice to take care of Annika to have circle of life for them and they wanted to protected her from those dangers she saw. Annika patted her pillows, laid her head on it with her body, tucked herself with a sheet she found from the pirate ship and she went to sleep.
In the morning, the animals woke up and decided to make the morning surprise for Annika was still asleep. The birds were laying eggs in their nest while the ostriches also did but it bigger than tiny ones. The bees and hornets were making honey out of flower pollution. Some of the honey was used in the buckets to scoop the clays somewhere. Once they are done, they go back to the treehouse to make the healing salves, a medicine that can help soothe and heal those wounds.
At the same time, the llamas were shaving their wools using a pair of metal shears to make a fabric in case that can used to make furniture. The gorilla used some sticks to knit the wool into a sweater for those who like it.
Meanwhile, the chimpanzees were scooping some more clays, and while on the shore, the elephants were scooping some sand. They were united as they mixed the clays and sands with water into a wet brick that dried so hard. The sharks and the fishes were gathering the scraps from the deteriorated ship and swam back to give them to the animals so they could use them.
Without the nails they ran out of, the capybaras decided that they would use some wood that resembles the metal nails and with the help of termites who were able to sharpen them. With the material they gather, they manage to build a smelter that can melt those things when they are found somewhere.
"Already, time to test with some seaweeds." determined Henry.
At the ocean, the sea lions were pulling some seaweed around the ground, swimming up to the surface and the island. They crawl toward the seagulls, spitting the seaweeds up, and give the rest to those who take the seaweeds with them. The seagulls try to drop the seaweed onto the gorilla's hand.
"Thank a lot, buddy." thanked the gorilla, he put the seaweeds and the planks onto the smelter which melted into a vine goos.
With the smelter they manage to use, the animals decide to use some sand which melts as glass. Then, the sea lions reappeared with a metal pole which used the chimpanzee was able to glassblowing to melt the glass into a pile of jars and the bees and hornets were able to fill the honey into the jars and store it in the shed.
"We did it." cheered the gorilla, the sea lion took out a pickaxe that he had kept since he was once found on the pirate ship.
"What are we gonna do." questioned the chimpanzee.
But they have no choice but to go to the cavern to mine some ores such as copper, titanium, and metal. They returned to the treehouse and smelted them into ingots. Just then, the pelicans came out of nowhere with some junk such as scraps and anything.
"Hi, we are invited to be a family animal we wanted to be." greeted the pelican leader, offering them some scraps as their donation.
"Thank a lot." smiled the male chimpanzee, he was able to use the scraps to build the paint mill along with some materials like planks, stones, and ropes they found.
Once the painted milk was ready, the island animals went to gather some flowers. The paint milk extracts the petals into paint while the monkeys pour some paint into the buckets they crafted with scraps thanks to pelicans.
"Is there anything that can make the paintbrushes," asked Henry.
Spoken by Henry's requests, the parrots decided that they would make the brushes by plucking their feathers and giving them to Henry. The gorillas gather the planks and ropes along with feathers to create paint brushes of any size. They decorated the treehouse with a full full-painted wallpaper image of Annika being a caretaker figure to those innocent animal families and friends.
"Uhhh mister," asked Henry.
"It Timothy." replied the gorilla whose name is Timothy.
The monkeys used planks and ropes tied around the edges to keep them in place. One of them scoops the dirt onto the box like a plank which becomes a small crop that the bees and hornets will able to harvest the pollution of flowers.
The chimpanzee used the scraps and planks to build the medium crops which were now used for red berries and strawberry bushes.
"We don't have any hinges," said Henry, but the pelicans have the hinges. Then, the animals built a large crop that was for the trees to harvest some food resources.
Meanwhile, the old poison-puffers decided to make their sacrifice to create items, the sharks then killed them all producing the explosive goos, and gave it to the gorilla who smelted them into explosive powders which the chimpanzee combined the powders with plastics and planks into fireworks while decorated them by painting them. The chimpanzee built the makeshift canvas board and the wooden art canvas stood out of the wooden which became the gift for Annika and they hoped that she gonna like it.
With the morning surprise preparations finished, the animals were cheered until Annika woke up when she stretched her arms and yawned softly. She rubbed her right eye with her hand before she opened her eyes to see that her animal friends had impressed her with new things she wanted.
"Oh my god." Annika was suddenly surprised by the gifts she used to never know. "Is that for me." she sobbed.
"Yes, this is you as you are my guardian to us." smiled Henry.
"Annie, can you stay with us at the island as your home," asked Timothy.
The animals were pleasing Annika to stay with them on the island as their home, Annika was confused about why they always loved her so much they cared about her, then she smiled and happily accepted their pleas.
"Of course, I'll stay forever as long as I will live happily ever after." smiled Annika, she lunged toward the animals and hugged them passionately, "Thank you for everything that could change my life better."
"We knew, we always love you very much more than anything." sobbed Henry, his tears were shedding from his eyes because he always loves Annika so much no matter what.
