When Hermione woke up two days later, she was surprised to find just her sister in bed with her, since her mate usually took every opportunity to sleep in. "Good morning 'Mione. Did you sleep okay?" Luna asked with a soft smile when she noticed her sister had woken up.
Hermione smiled and nodded. "Of course I did. I was merely a bit surprised to not find Fleur in bed with us when I woke up."
"Your mate is helping our aunts prepare the traditional New Year's breakfast, sister. She asked me to to make sure that you wouldn't be alone when you woke up." Luna said with her usual dreamy smile.
Hermione smiled at that. "That's sweet of you Luna. Is today's breakfast just as strict as Christmas breakfast?"
"Not really. It's just aunt Cissa's way of having everyone together for a nice breakfast before school starts up again. We don't really have to dress up for it or anything. That is what is going to happen after lunch. Aunt Cissa wants to start that preparation as early as she can get away with." Luna said softly.
Hermione nodded at that. "Good, because I don't think I could be bothered to dress up for breakfast a third time this year."
Luna giggled at that. "Trust me that you'll get used to it 'Mione. The first time is always intimidating. I remember feeling exactly the same when I first got a notion of what was going on. As for tonight, I don't really have much more experience than you do, I've only been allowed to attend since last year, but while it seems and sounds very formal, it's really just a gathering of family and friends."
Hermione smiled and nodded. "That I know, but aunt Cissa also told me that I would need every bit of my lessons tonight, so I'm a bit nervous about that."
"The only reason aunt Cissa says that is to make sure no one accidentally brings up anything that might be considered dangerous. The only thing posh tonight will be the dresses and topics of conversation, which is where our lessons in etiquette come in. I'm honestly looking forward to see what Dora is going to do this year. She never intends to, but her clumsy nature usually ensures something comedic. I remember her accidentally tripping into a tray of snacks last year. Dora and heels don't really mix." Luna said softly.
Hermione laughed lightly at that. "I can imagine that, and it is somewhat of a worry for me too. I've never really walked in heels and the one time that I did I had to use every bit of focus not to fall over."
Luna smiled at her sister. "I'm sure your mate will keep you upright tonight 'Mione." She said teasingly.
Hermione stuck out her tongue at her sister. "She'd better, or otherwise I might not let her take me down later tonight."
Luna blushed a little at that. "Hermione, I love you, but could you not put images into my head that I won't be able to get out of it."
Hermione grinned and wrapped her arms around her baby sister, feeling the overwhelming need to tease the younger blonde. "Is my baby sister getting excited about the image of her sister having sex with her mate? How naughty of you."
"Can you blame me? You two are gorgeous and just the thought of you two getting it on is enough to make me wet. Have some mercy on me, sister." Luna said softly.
Hermione smiled sweetly and pressed her lips to the back of Luna's neck. "I'm sorry Lu, you know I was only teasing. I will try to be not as overt with my flirting tonight."
Luna smiled and relaxed in her sister's arms. "That would be appreciated, because I won't be able to help myself until I'm in bed tonight."
Hermione smiled at her. "Sometimes I wish we would've grown up together. Then I'm sure this wouldn't have been as much of an issue."
"I'm sure it would'nt have been, but we would have found ways to deal with it differently. Now however I will cope as I always have. I'll help myself tonight while thinking of Gabrielle." Luna said with a soft smile.
Hermione only smiled at that as they got out of bed to get dressed. "I'm sure she won't be able to resist you Lu. Looking back on everything that happened over the last couple of years I can admit that I've had a crush on you too."
"The same goes for me 'Mione, and I probably always will. You were the first person who treated me as a friend, because as much as I love Draco and Dora, I've been through too much with them for them to be completely unbiased. You befriended me without knowing anything about me, and over the last four years you grew to be more than a friend and even more than a sister." Luna said honestly as she pulled off her nightgown.
Hermione smiled and wrapped her arms around her sister's naked form. "When we get back to school, we are going to have a long talk about this and see if we can find a solution for this. From what you and Fleur found we now know it is more than common in our family for sisters to help each other with this."
"Shouldn't we also talk to Fleur about this? I wouldn't want to be the reason to cause strife between you two already."
Hermione smiled at her. "Trust me that she is okay with it Lu. She told me last night that she felt your arousal too when we are in bed and she knew that this was a big possibility after the things you two found. We both know that the love we share for each other is different to the love I share with Fleur and the things you feel for Gabrielle, but at the same time it is also very much the same. It's two sides of the same coin."
Luna's blush darkened at that. "You're right of course. I can't deny the things I feel for you anymore and I know it is not the same as the things I feel for Gabrielle, but it sure comes close to that."
Hermione smiled at that. "It does, and I promise that we will talk about this more later, because right now we really need to get ready, since I don't trust myself not to act on my feelings right now."
Luna smiled at her sister as they got dressed with some distance between them, since neither of them trusted each other not to take things further right now.

After breakfast, the two sisters and Fleur made their way to the Solarium so they could talk in private. "You two sure took your time zis morning." Fleur said once they had sat down.
"We took some time to talk about some things beforehand love. We weren't lazy or anything" Hermione said with a smile.
Fleur smiled at them. "I know, because you two are anything but lazy. What is it you two talked about?"
Hermione and Luna smiled at that. "We mostly talked about the things we feel for each other and how it is going to affect us all in the long run." Hermione said softly.
Fleur smiled and pulled her mate close. "I had a feeling that would be the most pressing thing on both of your minds. Am I also right in assuming that this is what you want to talk about?"
They both nodded at that. "You would be right in that Fleur. The last thing I want is to cause strife between you and Hermione." Luna said softly.
Fleur smiled and pulled the young blonde into her side. "Before we talk properly about this, let me tell you that the things you feel for your sister are completely natural and that it will never be the source of argument or strife in our relationship. That I promise you. Is that what you two are worried about?"
The sisters nodded at that. "Partly yes. We have come to the realization that what we share goes far beyond the regular bond of sisters and while we don't know how this is going to evolve, we do know there will be a lot of intimacy connected to this."
"I know, I've felt it for a while now, as well as your arousal in the morning, Luna. As a Veela I am acutely aware of that from people I'm close to. I've been able to do a little bit more research yesterday, and I found out that in other instances of similar relationships in your family, the sisters and Veela came together in a sort of parallel relationship. It's not like we will share our love freely, but I will not become jealous if you two become more intimate, and if either of you feel that need, I just want you to know that I'm okay with you two helping each other with that and since Hermione and I completed our bond, I am very sure that this will become very common in the coming months." Fleur said softly.
Hermione and Luna shared a look at that. "And you're okay with that love?" The brunette asked softly.
"I am cherí. I know it is unavoidable that you will both feel the urge given how close you two are. I know there is no force on this planet that could break us apart and I know you feel that too. As we established a few days ago, what you feel for your sister is very different from what you feel for me. It is just as strong, but different in its intensity. Two sides of the same coin if you would." Fleur said with a sweet smile.
Hermione smiled at her love. "It's almost as if you and Luna have talked about this already. She said exactly the same thing while we were getting dressed."
Fleur smiled and pressed a kiss to her mate's cheek. "Really now? Then I think it is more then just a coincidence, non?"
Hermione nodded and cuddled into her mate. "It is, but you should also know by now how my mind works. I go over things again and again before I can even consider the possibility of it having anything to do with matters of the heart."
Both Luna and Fleur smiled at that. "We know 'Mione, which is why we will both always try to help you navigate those things and see those things more clearly. I'll be to you what Mummy is for mother." Luna said with a dreamy smile.
Hermione smiled and pressed a kiss to Luna's cheek. "Then I think I'll be fine Lu. Because from everything we've heard and read about our mothers, I realize that we are near carbon copies of them."
Luna nodded at that. "Indeed we are, and I have a feeling we share more than a few characteristics with them both, not just physical, but mental and emotional too."
Hermione smiled and nodded at that. "I think you might be right in that. I've certainly inherited Mama's madness and you clearly have Mummy's gift of foresight."
Luna blushed a little at that. "My dreams are not visions though, no matter how many times they seem to come true."
"You're young Luna, you could easily hone those skills if you wished to, and I am sure that your mothers will want to help with that when they come home." Fleur said with a soft smile.
"We can't wait to finally get to know them. I just hope Mama will be okay with us being together." Hermione said softly as she cuddled further into Fleur.
Fleur smiled and kissed the brunette softly. "I don't think they will mind mon amour, especially if they are soulmates themselves. I doubt they would fault you for finding your mate. It's not as if I'll be the first Delacour to fall in love with a Black."
Hermione smiled at that. "I suppose not, I just can't help but worry about what they will say even though I haven't even met them yet. I know it's an irrational fear to have, but I really can't help it."
Luna smiled and pressed a kiss to her sister's cheek. "It'll be okay 'Mione, if we are really so much like our mothers like aunt Andi and aunt Cissa are saying I am sure that they'll be more than just a little happy for you."
Hermione blushed a little and pulled her sister close. "Thank you Lu. You always know exactly what to say to calm me down."
"I'm sure that in a couple of months I will not be the only one 'Mione." Luna said with a wink.
Hermione smiled and nodded as she gave Fleur a kiss. "I would hope so, since Fleur is already uncannily good at figuring out my moods."
The older blonde just smiled and nuzzled her mate's neck, the three witches talking well into the afternoon, until it was time for them to get ready for the Ball tonight.

After a belated lunch, Luna and Hermione were back in Hermione's bedroom so they could prepare for the Ball together, which according to their aunts was a longstanding family tradition among the sisters of Black.
They had just come out of the shower which in the interest of time they had taken together, and had been further proof that any shame that might have been lingering between them was now well and truly gone because they had washed each other without either of them having the feeling that this was weird or inappropriate. It felt intimate without it being weird for either of them, and that alone made Hermione realize that it had been inevitable for them to not get this close from the day she accepted the petite blonde as her sister.
Of course the fact that Luna was very easy on the eye was no punishment either and she could easily admit, if only to herself that she had reveled in ensuring her baby sister was ready for tonight.
Luna on her turn also didn't mind the feeling of Hermione's hands on her body since it had served to make her even more comfortable with being naked with her sister in this manner. She of course had long ago lost her sense of shame around Hermione, given everything they shared at school, but this was very different from their morning routines at school.
For once they were glad that they had time to spare because while they were out of the shower, this did not mean that they were ready to get dressed already. Instead they were both still naked in front of the mirror, with Hermione holding Luna close to her body as they admired one another.
"Are you sure you'll be okay for tonight Lu?" Hermione asked softly.
"I don't know 'Mione. Our talk this morning made me feel a bit better, but I'm still feeling turned on just by seeing you and Fleur together, but I also don't feel okay with asking you to help me with this." Luna said with a slight blush.
Hermione smiled and pressed a loving kiss to her sister's neck. "But you want me to? It wouldn't do for me to let my darling sister suffer through the night like this. I'll gladly help you take somewhat of the edge off."
Luna blushed and nodded. "Good girl, now just relax and let sissy care for you. I won't go too far just yet because I really don't think we are ready for that just yet." Hermione said with a loving smile as she let one of her hands trail down Luna's body.
"I envy you sister. You have such a beautiful body." Hermione said with a soft smile as she ran her fingers through the well groomed soft curls of her sister's nether regions.
Luna moaned softly as she leaned back against her sister. "I'm not half as pretty as you are 'Mione. I've always been a bit jealous of your body."
"You, my dear sister are selling yourself short by at least two dozen Galleons. You still have that suppleness to your body and just the right amount of meat on your bones to make anyone go wild for you. Gabrielle is a lucky woman and I am honored that we get to indulge ourselves like this too. I truly love you, Luna. I probably always have and I definitely always will." Hermione said softly as she started adding soft kisses to her sister's neck.
That only made Luna moan louder as Hermione's fingers finally found their destination, stroking her almost like a lover would, which in her mind probably wasn't too far off the mark. "I love you too Hermione, but please, don't tease me. I'm close to losing my mind already and you've barely touched me."

Hermione smiled at her. "Then we really should go and get dressed, otherwise I might have to deal with a grouchy Fleur."
Luna smiled at that as the pulled apart and went to put on their dresses, making sure everything was up to their aunt's standards for tonight.

When Luna and Hermione made their way downstairs an hour later, Fleur was already waiting patiently for her mate, who looked absolutely amazing in her dress, and if she had to judge her mate's reaction, Hermione also liked her selection for tonight.
"Hello mon amour. You look absolutely ravishing tonight." Fleur said with a kind smile.
Hermione smiled and gave her mate a chaste kiss on the cheek. I can say the same for you, Ms. Delacour. I definitely can't wait until later tonight when you will be at my mercy for once."
Fleur quirked an eyebrow as she linked her arm with Hermione. "We'll see about that love. I believe it has been a while since I had you at my mercy and I have ideas for our last time before you go back to school."
Hermione smiled at that. "There's no reason for us not to make things last, my love, but only after we have made sure that we are not locked in different rooms for arriving too late at our first New Year's Ball."
The blonde smiled at that as she led Hermione into the grand ball room where everyone immediately turned to Hermione. "Are you okay mon amour?" Fleur asked softly.
Hermione nodded and gave her arm a squeeze as Narcissa walked up to them. "You both look amazing, even though I had no doubts about that. Are you ready?" The blonde asked with a soft smile.
"Yes Narcissa, I'm as ready as I will be. Everyone's eyes have been on me since I walked in, so we should put them out of their misery." Hermione said with a soft smile.
Narcissa nodded at her as she took Hermione's arm from Fleur. "I promise to have her back by your side in an hour, Ms. Delacour."
Fleur merely smiled and nodded as she pressed a chaste kiss to Hermione's cheek before making her way over to Luna and Draco.
"Remember sweetie, if anyone asks you are here as a friend of the family wanting to experience such an event first hand." Narcissa asked softly.
Hermione smiled and nodded. "I haven't forgotten Narcissa, you were quite clear in not accidentally giving anything away just yet."
The blonde smiled and gave her niece's arm a squeeze as she led her around the room to make proper introductions to everyone.
Fleur, Luna and Dora meanwhile watched as Hermione was led through the room by Narcissa. "It really looks like she's done this all of her life." Dora said softly.
"I think deep down that she knows that no matter what happens, she is her mother's daughter and it has taken root to such a degree that it will permeate every bit of her personality now. In the coming months we'll see her become like mother more and more." Luna said in a whisper.
Fleur nodded at that. "I agree. I can feel her confidence through our bond, and it is climbing with every passing minute. I think she has finally fully accepted her heritage."
Luna smiled at that as the brunette had finished up her rounds and was released of her duties for the night by Narcissa, and Luna just couldn't help but hug her sister tightly. "What's wrong? Did I do something wrong while you were all watching me so intently."
"No mon amour, quite the opposite. I felt your confidence through our bond, and your sister thought that it might be because you 'ave fully accepted your heritage. It was beautiful to witness." Fleur said with a loving smile.
That made the brunette blush a little. "If I did something like that, it was wholly subconscious. I was trying not to draw that kind of attention to myself for once."
"It comes natural to you 'Mione. You can't help who your mothers are after all, and from what I remember and have heard over the years, they always drew every eye in the room too, so I am not surprised you do the same." Nymphadora said with a soft smile.
Hermione smiled at that. "I'm honestly not surprised anymore either. From everything I've heard about mother, I've come to realize that I really am every bit like her, and I am more than okay with that now that the truth is so close to being revealed. I honestly think McGonagall suspects something already."
"I wouldn't be surprised to be honest, but she's also the one we don't have to worry about. I know for a fact that she doesn't buy into the old man's lies. I've heard her say plenty of times that she openly opposes his ideas." Nymphadora said softly.
Hermione and Luna smiled at that. "We have noticed the same, and eventually we'll be able to trust her, but for now we'll keep everything to ourselves, although I have a feeling those Heritage tests will reveal everything anyway."
Luna smiled and gave her sister a hug. "We'll deal with it when the time comes, and I have a feeling that Umbridge will want to speak to you about your test personally, if only to see if you already knew."
"Like I would give anything away to her of all people. She doesn't have the intellectual capacity to try and get anything out of us." Hermione said softly, as not to let anyone besides the four of them know what they were talking about.
Luna grinned at that. "You are very right in that 'Mione. But we still have to watch out around Dumbledore. If he finds out what we know, he'll keep an even closer eye on us."
Hermione nodded at her sister. "We'll be okay Lu. We've managed to keep his eye off us for nearly four years and this will not change that. Perhaps if he knows he will be more inclined to leave us alone at long last."
Luna nodded and gave her sister's side a squeeze. "I doubt it, but perhaps he will fear mother's reaction when he finds out our true connection and thus hopefully leaves us be."
Hermione only nodded and hugged her sister tightly as she pulled Fleur close too, the four witches spending most of the night close to each other and talking softly to each other.

The moment Fleur and Hermione were in their bedroom, the brunette pushed the blonde Veela against the wall and into a bruising kiss. "You don't know how long I've waited to be alone with you again."
Fleur smirked and rendered them both naked with a flick of her hand. "You are not the only one, mon amour. You looked ravishing the entire evening and the way you spoke to everyone made me more than just a little bit excited. I had a lot of trouble not to whisk you away earlier."
"I'm glad you didn't, because I do have something to tell you before we make love long into the night." Hermione said softly.
"Is this about the time you spent preparing with your sister, cherí?" Fleur asked huskily.
Hermione nodded at her. "Yes, I know we all agreed that it was okay, but it would make me feel better if I tell you, so I won't feel like I'm keeping things from you."
"You are not, mon amour. I promise you. I felt it all through our bond. All that matters to me is that you helped your sister cope with her hormones." Fleur said as she scooped her brunette mate into her arms and carried her to the bed.
Hermione smiled and kissed the blonde softly. "I think I succeeded in that, she called it the best orgasm she ever had."
"You've had a good teacher, cherí, if I may say so myself, and at the same time you have also been a very good and dedicated student." Fleur said with a sultry smile.

"And I love you, Hermione Black, more with every passing day, and I honestly can't wait until such time we can show that to the world properly." Fleur said with a loving smile.
"If I didn't know any better I would say that was a proposal already." Hermione said softly.
Fleur smiled and kissed her softly. "It wasn't, but I will admit I am already looking at very romantic ways to propose to you. It is kind of inevitable once a Veela and her mate fully bond with each other."
Hermione smiled at that. "I know love, I've diligently read every book on Veela you showed me, I was mostly teasing. All I ask for is that you try and wait until you have properly met my mothers."
Fleur only nodded and smiled at her as the two girls repositioned themselves a bit more like they usually would, which was Hermione cuddled into Fleur's side as they fell asleep clutching at each other.
