I sighed looked at the mirror before running my hands through my hair. I was getting frustrated and aggravated. The reason why was that Woo-Bin had called me and invited me out to dinner tonight... He did say not to dress up to dress normal. I was so nervous. Was he trying to make this an actual date for us or just is hanging out... Oh I don't know.
"Kenzie?"
I groaned as Diane walked in. "Diane help me."
She walked over sitting down beside me. "What's wrong?"
I turned toward her. "Woo-Bin asked me out to dinner tonight and I am going crazy... He said to not dress up just to dress normal. What should I do?"
Diane smiled softly before going into my closet and bringing out an outfit... "I say just be you. When you first met them this is something you would have worn comfortably."
I smiled at the clothes. "Thanks Diane."
Getting up I quickly got dressed before doing something simple to my hair.
Looking in the mirror I smiled. I felt more and more like myself as the days were going by. I remember the time I was away and helping my brother there were times I was starting to feel less and less like myself...
I know that one day I will have to take over for my brother in the business but I wasn't ready to do that so soon. With another sigh I pulled on a pair of my favorite boots before standing up.
"There.." I turned in the mirror smiling at Diane. "I look good!"
Diane laughed. "You'll knock him off his feet. How he isn't knocked out already makes me wonder."
Just then my phone chimed with a text. I looked down and smiled
~Be there in 5 minutes
'woo-bin
"I have to go Woo-Bin will be here in a moment."
Diane gave me a hug. "Be careful and call if you need anything."
"Okay."
I grabbed my walled zipping it into my side pocket before heading outside just in time to see Woo-Bin pull up in his lotus.
"Kenzie!"
I turned to catch the jacket DIane tossed at me. "Thanks!" As I turned back Woo-Bin had already gotten out of the car and had opened the door for me.
"Thank you."
"Of course."

I adjusted my jacket on my shoulders as I walked out of my house and out to the Lotus... I was a little nervous about going and picking up Kenzie... This wasn't as official date but I thought to see how we would so going out to get dinner together.. Testing the waters I guess you would say.
As I drove toward Kenzie's house I let my mind wonder. I had set things up and I had a dinner reservation and then I was thinking on taking her on a walk.
As I pulled up to the gate at Kenzie's home I stopped smiling at Mitchell.
"Hey Mitchell."
Hello Woo-Bin. You here to get Kenzie?"
"Yes."
"Alright well you guys have fun and take care of our girl."
I shook his hand a moment till the gate opened and I pulled in. Taking out my phone I messaged Kenzie telling her I was here . Leaning back in my seat I took a moment to look around. Know it was morning I could see the property more.
The house wasn't typical build for more Korean homes so I knew it was designed and build. The gardens were beautiful, I knew if my mother was still around she would have loved it.. I was sure little So-Young would love it here... That is when I noticed off to the side a little playground.
I had to smile, it must have been were Kenzie would play when she was little...
"Kenzie!"
I turned seeing Diane toss Kenzie her jacket. I quickly got out and opened her door.
"Thank you."
I smiled. "Of course."
After she gt in I closed her door before gong back around and pulling out of the drive.. I was thankful today was a pretty day so I was able to leave the top off. I glanced to the side and let my eyes look over Kenzie. I had told her to dress comfortable and not dress up. Her outfit reminded me of when I first met her.
I was always endeared with her, whether it be wit her clothing or how she acted. I know I always loved how she defended the ones she loved.
"Woo-Bin?"
"Yes."
"Where are we going?"
I smiled tapping her nose. "You'll see."

I smiled as we pulled into the restaurant. It was somewhere I haven't been before. Woo-Bin walked around and opened my door. I got out and followed him inside.
"How can I help you?"
Woo-Bin smiled. "Song reservation."
"This way sir."
We followed the gentleman back toward the VIP area..
"Here you go sir."
"Thank you."
We walked over to table getting ready to sit when.. "Sumbae!"
I turned to see a woman dressed in a tight dress rush forward grabbing onto Woo-Bin's arm. "Sumbae! Why haven't you called me back."
Woo-Bin looked at me and sighed before looking at the woman. "Why would I call you?"
She pouted pushing her chest against his side pissing me off. "We were having so much fun though."
Woo-Bin chuckled pushing her hand off his arm. "What fun? I was having a drink and you slip your number in my pocket..."
I snorted covering my mouth, the woman glared at me. "Who are you?" She turned back to Woo-Bin. "Why would you lower yourself to someone like her?"
Woo-Bin glared at the woman. "Be careful what you say..." He motioned toward me "When it comes to her, no one compares..." He smirked. "An I thought I made it very known I was not interested."
I moved forward gently pushing her away from Woo-Bin. "Now if you'll excuse us we would like to enjoy our dinner and not be bothered by some hussy."
Woo-Bin chuckled put his hand on my waist pulling me close making my heart race.
"Fine. Enjoy trash!" She turned on her heal and walked off.
We were about to sit down when Woo-Bin's phone ran. He frowned pulling out his phone. "I told them not to disturb me unless it is important."
"Answer it them."
He answered."I told you not... What?" I froze at the look on his face. "Where is he?" Woo-Bin looked at me before taking my hand and hurrying me outside back to his car. "We'll be there in a minute. Keep your eyes on him." He hung up.
"What is it?"
"Its Yi-Jung. Something's wrong one of my men saw him and one of our clubs and he drunk. Yi-Jung never gets drunk."
"Lets go!" We both actually jumped into the car as he speed off.
It took all of 10 minutes to get to the club. Hurrying inside one of Woo-Bin's men pointed upstairs. "He's up there."
Woo-Bin and I run up the stairs. When I heard Yi-Jung's painful hollar I ran quicker.
"Get lost."
I saw red at the 3 men who had been kicking Y-Jung. Ignoring them I moved with Woo-Bin to Yi-Jung lifting him up letting his rest against my chest.
Woo-Bin was looking him over worried. "Yi-Jung, Why did you drink so much?"
I pushed his hair back. "Yi-Jung are you okay." That is when I noticed he was holding his hand. I looked at Woo-Bin who looked furious.
One of Woo-Bin's men moved forward. "Young Master should we take care of this?"
Woo-Bin looked at me. "You guys don't get involved.I'll take care of these bastards who hurt my friend with my own hands." He touched my cheek. "Take care of him."
I held Yi-Jung close. "Don't worry."
Woo-Bin slowly got up fixing his gloves before delivering a strong kick to the gut of one of the men. When the next tried to punch him he blocked it before knocking him down with a single punch. He moved to the third guy grabbing him by the throat and pinning him to the wall.
"You! DO you know how much his hands are worth?."
"I don't know."
"Even if Robin could come back to life I wouldn't trade him for that hand." I could see his anger rising. "Do you have any idea what you've done." He kneed him in the stomach before punching him in the face.
Woo-Bin turned back to us moving forward. As they went to move Yi-Jung I noticed 2 men coming forward one of them holding a metal rod.
"Woo-Bin!" Jumping forward I raised my arm to deflect the metal rod that was going toward Woo-Bin's head.
"Ahh!" I could feel the white hot pain in my arm from the rob.
"Kenzie!"
Woo-Bin grabbed me pulling me back before grabbing the man's hand squeezing till he dropping the metal rod. "How dare you hit my woman!"
Seeing the other man move forward I rushed forward jumping up and kicking him in the face making him fall backward. I turned in time to see Woo-Bin punch the man in the stomach before in the face again.
"Woo-Bin! We need to get Yi-Jung to the hospital."
We moved forward and one of his men helped him get Yi-Jung on his back.
"Hang in there."
We hurried out and down into one of the SUV's his men had before going to the hospital.
As Yi-Jung was taken to the back Woo-Bin made a doctor take me to check my arm.
After the X-ray he told me I was fine but I would be bruised and let me go back out to the waiting room.
"Kenzie! Are you okay?"
I nodded moving toward Woo-Bin. "Yes I am fine just a bad bruise." I looked to the emergency room door. "How's Yi-Jung?"
"No one had said anything."

I could see how worried Kenzie was for Yi-Jung and I was worried as well. When she started to fidget I grabbed her hand and pulled her into my lap making her sit sideways so her legs rested over the arms of the chair. Wrapping my arm around her rubbed her back.
Her head moved to lay on my shoulder an within minutes I heard her soft snoring. Running my hand through her hair I settled her closer. Well this wasn't how I wanted today to go but as I had her in my arms I liked how it was ending.
If she would be okay with it and if Mitchel wouldn't kill me I was going to see if she would like to come home with me tonight. Since our dinner was ruined I was going to make something for us an watch some movies... I knew So-Young will enjoy seeing Kenzie again...
Leaning back in the chair I lifted Kenzie higher on my lap and wrapping my arms tighter around her waiting for news on Yi-Jung.
