I'm back with another chapter. This one is happened in the 2nd dimension, but it has the same timeline in Chapter 2. Enjoy!
In the 2nd dimension.
The 2nd Dimension Doofensmirtzs family was in their hideout, hiding away from those resistant from catching them.
"So honey, is everything prepared?" Charlene asked.
"Done and done!" Doofenshmirtz smirked evilly, "With the assistance of our new ally, soon we can take over the Tri-State Area! Hey, where is he anyway."
A hologram screen suddenly appeared in front of them, accidentally shocked them.
"Oops, sorry." The figure apologized, "Now, so this is the day you will strike?"
"Well, with these gadgets you provided, it's gonna be a cinch when we take over the Tri-State Area!"
(Meanwhile)
2nd Dimension Phineas and Ferb are in their backyard, busy looking at their blueprint.
"Hey boys." Suddenly, their sister, Candace, walked to them, in a normal outfit instead of her resistance clothes, "What are you doing?"
"Well, we're looking at the blueprints and making weapons for Resistance." Phineas replied, "I'm on my shift for Resistance and I hope this can help."
"Wait, didn't you have your shift yesterday?" Candace asked.
"What, can't I work more than one day?" Phineas replied, "I love working for Resistance, plus with the Doofenshmirtzs still being on large, I need to do my part."
"It was just because today is Isabella's turn. Don't mind him." Suddenly Ferb interrupted and smirked.
"FERB!!!" Phineas exclaimed as he blushed in embarrassment.
"Oh, so you STILL haven't told her that you like her?" Candace asked.
"I wish I have, but I am afraid that this would make it awkward and ruin our friendship." Phineas sighed, "You know I only known her since the day we met our dogglepanders."
"Well, just give her some time. Everything would work out." Candace suggested as Perry, their cyborg pet arrived and nodded in agreement.
"Well, I guess you're right. Gosh, I really wonder how did my counterpart work this out. Maybe I could ask him for help." Phineas nodded, "Well I gotta go now, see you guys later."
(Meanwhile at the Resistance HQ)
Isabella was standing at her shift, looking out for the enemies. But at the same time, her mind also drifted at something, or someone, who kept appearing in her mind and distracting her.
And that someone is Candace's red-haired brother.
Despite she just saw Phineas in person just for a short time, Isabella had heard Candace talked about him and Ferb before, and she clearly felt bad for the boy and hoped that she could be friends with him. Unfortunately, Candace didn't allow her to do this, not wanting to let the Resistance secret slipped out at that time. The first time she saw Phineas and Ferb officially was with two boys who looked similar to them, whom Isabella later knew that they're the counterparts of the boys from another dimension. Sure, the other Phineas and Ferb are amazing, but the Phineas and Ferb in her own dimension was better for her, especially Phineas. His caring, brave, helpful personality and his unwillingness to quit soon caught the girl's heart. Despite Jeremy was the one recuriting them, it was Isabella, being the second-in-command of the Resistance, officially agreeing the idea before they came to save Candace, not caring about what her leader think about. With the other Phineas and Ferb instructing them, they are becoming more and more amazing for the girl, and it made her happy.
"Um, Isabella?" Suddenly someone interrupted her own thought, and Isabella then turned to see her Firestorm Girls looking at her, "We still have shifts to do, you know."
"Oops, sorry girls. Just thinking about something..." Isabella blushed in embarrassment.
"It's actually someone, huh?" Holly teased.
"It's Phineas again, is it? You had been like this ever since you knew him." Gretchen added, "And you still haven't told her that you like him?"
"Um..." Isabella replied, nervously, "It's... I don't wanna make the things awkward... He probably only regards me as a normal friend, and if I confessed my feelings, it would probably ruin our relationship. Gosh, we only knew each other just after the other dimensions of the boys arrived!"
"Calm down, Isabella." Adyson shook her head, "Just gave him some time, maybe he'll figure this out."
"Besides, it's not that hard to tell your crush that you like him." Ginger added.
"Huh, like you had talked to Dr. Baljeet about your feelings to him, Ginger." Isabella scoffed, crossing her arms.
"Hey, at least I'm not so nervous around him!"
"Besides, I'd say that he must have the same feelings for you, but never tell you because of the same reason you had." Milly replied, as the others stared at her in surprise, "What? It's just my theory, and I'm sticking with it and not changing."
"We really need to cut down your time of spending it with Buford." Katie shook her head, "Guess he rubbed too much resistance on you."
At the same time, Phineas happened to come in with his machine, not hearing what the girls were talking about, he simply greeted them, "Hey girls."
"Hi, Phineas. What' cha doin'?" Isabella remarked, "You had your shift yesterday."
"Yeah, but I still want to work in Resistance, it's fun." Phineas replied.
"Especially with you." He thought the last line to himself before he continued, "And also I need to try this new baby out."
"What can it do?" Katie asked.
"It can help us track Doofenshmirtz so we can know what they will do and get them before they get away." Phineas replied, "I have asked Perry and Pinky to get some sample from them before so it can track them."
Isabella showed a dreamy look at Phineas, amazed at his ability to invent something at a fast speed. However, Phineas didn't seem to notice this as his machine suddenly beeped, "Wait, it picked the signal!"
Phineas immediately took out the machine and checked the signal, "OK, It's said that Doofenshmirtz is just at the square by himself?!"
"What?" Everyone was confused at this, Phineas tapped on the screen only to see Doofenshmirtz standing in the square, using a megaphone and yelled about that he is back for rules and establishing the rules.
"Really? That's what he is doing?" Adyson raised her eyebrow.
"He's just making a fool of himself." Gretchen added.
"I think we should come in and catch him." Suddenly another voice appeared as they turned around to see Buford approaching them.
"Buford? What are you doing here, you shift is tomorrow... you know what, never mind." Isabella asked but then decided not to ask, knowing that his resisting instinct kicking in again.
"I don't know. Without his train, he's a dangerous criminal, after all." Phineas analyzed, "Plus his family isn't around, so this is highly possible that this is a trap."
"Well, do you have any better idea, Dinner Bell?" Buford asked.
"I still have no idea why you insisted on calling me like this." Phineas said as he tried to figure it out.
"Well, your head looks like one."
"Well, I said we need to track the rest of them and see what they are planning, then we need a plan... Buford?" Phineas was interrupted as he saw Buford was gone.
"He's really getting himself in trouble." Milly shook her head.
"Guess we have no choice now." Phineas sighed, "Looks like he wants us to get there, fine then. Let's see what he exactly wants."
The gang immediately followed Buford to the square to check out what the former evil dicatior is up to, however, to their surprise, they found they are not alone when they saw Ferb, Candace and Perry staying there.
"What are you guys doing here?" Phineas asked in surprise.
"Well, we saw it on TV." Ferb replied.
(Flashback)
After Phineas left, Ferb, Candace and Perry went into the house to watch TV with their parents.
"Hey, mom. Hey, dad. Is there something we can watch?" Candace asked.
"Well, we're watching the TV show, and you're free to join." Lawrence replied as they joined the adults, but when they arrived the show was suddenly interrupted with a breaking news.
"We interrupt this program to report a breaking news. Five minutes ago, the square hip-hop singer duo 2 Guyz N the Parque reported us that they saw our former leader, Heinz Doofenshmirtz, in the square, and leading a speech that he's back."
The screen then showed Doofenshmirtz standing in the square, holding a megaphone and yelling. "People in Tri-State Area. Guess what? Your leader, Heinz Doofenshmirtz is back with his family. And here we're proclaiming that we will rule it again with an evil iron fist! Ooh, wait, the camera's here. Hey, you come closer. And that's a good angle, right. Great, you got me great."
The five was shocked of this, needless to say.
"What the heck is Doofenshmirtz thinking?" Candace just asked, she knows the public enemy is always trying to do something for his scheme, but this... this is quite bold.
"Maybe we should keep an eye on him? This is probably a trap since none of his family is there." Ferb stated.
"Do we have better ideas?" Candace sighed.
(End flashback)
"That's why we are here." Candace finished as suddenly she saw Buford approaching to Doof, "Buford? Huh, I'm not surprised of this."
"Guess we have to face him." Isabella shook her head as they followed.
"Ah, Resistance." Doofenshmirtz saw his enemies, smiling wickedly, "It's quite unexpected to see you arrived here, and by unexpected I mean..."
"Completely expected. Yeah, yeah, we got it." Candace groaned, "Just finish this stuff already, Doofenshmirtz. Although we didn't expect you would be this bold to show up."
"Fine. You may wonder why this, huh?" Doofenshmirtz said, "That's because I need you to be in person to have a front view of MY NEW ARMY!" Suddenly, a huge noise appeared as a lot of Norm Bots appeared, "First, say hello again to my good ol' Norm Bots, and then!" Suddenly, Charlene arrived, on a throne which was, surprisingly, carried by a lot of cyborgs which look like Doofenshmirtz.
"I'm here now Heinz, to show them how great you are."
"Aw, thanks Charlene." Doofenshmirtz smiled at his wife before turning to see the Resistance with meacnely look, "And this, behold, the Doof Army! Well, what's better than a full force army of me? Well, maybe there's something that's as powerful as them, behold!"
Vanessa then arrived, with a squad of robots that look like vending machines, "Dad, this is ridiculous." she sighed.
"Nonsense, Vanessa. I know vending machine might have a chance to be the dominant race, so I need to take some actions before it come true. Well, I wanted to elimainate them but then Charlene gave me a better idea, why can't I use them for my own need?" Doofenshmirtz cackled as he turned to Resistance, "As you see, these vending machines can be a great force of mine as they are skilled in brutal attacks, I mean, a less stronger than my Goozmins, but it's enough to destroy anyone who against my rules. Mmm, and they provide good drinks."
The Resistance looked around in nervous, they couldn't believe their enemies got stronger power. How on earth can they got something like this? But that wasn't the worst for them, as suddenly, Tony Marzulo, Vanessa's boyfriend, and Peter the Panda, the only OWCA agent that is still under Doofenshmirtzs' control arrived, and they brought a few OWCA agents, all with menacing looks.
"Huh? How comes you just re-control only a few of these things?!" Doofenshmirtz snapped.
"We arrived late, and we were only able to catch these." Tony shook his head.
"Dad, don't be that mean!" Vanessa defended her boyfriend, "We can always control all the OWCA later."
"You're right of that. And my ally can help me with this." Doofenshmirtz shook his head, "Well, army, attack and destroy the Resistance! Oh, but leave Perry the Platyborg alone, I still want him to be my army's top general." The robots then prepared to attack as they shoot lasers to the Resistance, who dodged their attacks immediately.
Perry showed a "in your dreams" look as he was prepared to attack.
"No way! We had lost Perry before, and this time we refuse to lose him!" Phineas added as he was prepared, but Candace stopped him before he could do anything.
"Wait a minute, Phineas!" She exclamied, "As long as we wanna fight back, we have a disadvantage in number, we gotta retreat now!" The Resistance immediately backed away (although the Firestorm Girls had to pull Buford away before he resisted) and ran away from the robots.
"Ooh! They're getting away!" Doofenshmirtz exclaimed.
"Relax, Heinz. We need to take over the Tri-State Area again, and then we can put a large wanted poster on them." Charlene came to her husband to calm him down.
"I guess you're right. Thanks, Charlene."
Meanwhile the Resistance, now all safe, immediately ran to their secret hideout, where Normbots could never be able to find them out. They finally stopped to have a breathe from all the running.
"I can't believe this, Doofenshmirtz is getting stronger than we thought!" Candace exclaimed in anger.
"Well, I did hear that he got an ally." Gretchen replied, "But sir, what should we gonna do now? They now get a bigger number in their army, and I'm not sure if we can fight back."
"Well, Gretchen. First we need to gather all the Resistance before Doofenshmirtz got them."
"You don't need to say that twice." Dr. Baljeet showed up, along with Jeremy, Pinky, Monogram, Carl, the rest of OWCA agents, and the other members of the Resistance. "I did a gathering when I saw the news and all of them are here."
"Thanks, Baljeet." Ginger smiled. Among the others she is the only one that Baljeet allows to call him like this.
"But this isn't enough for them." Isabella shook her head, "We need more people to this. But who else can we ask? Doofenshmirtz may have already spread his power all around."
"Wait a minute, I know who can help!" Phineas gasped.
"Who?" Milly asked.
"Us!"
"What do you mean? you are just here." Buford asked in confusion.
"Wait a minute, you mean the 1st dimension Phineas and Ferb!" Dr. Baljeet gasped in realization.
"Yes. Yes it is." Phineas nodded, "They have better inventing abilities than us have. And not to mention their Perry is a skilled agent, too! With their help, we can totally beat them and send them to prison! At the same time, we can also ask your counterparts to arrive to help. I kinda wanna meet them officially, after all."
"I understand this. I always wonder how I dress in the other dimension." Isabella nodded, having been wondering that for a long time.
"I guess this is our only chance." Candace sighed, "Dr. Baljeet?"
"On it! I need more help for this, though. Buford, Ginger, I need your assistance!" Dr. Baljeet replied as he immediately prepared, as Buford and Ginger followed behind.
"Coming, Baljeet." Ginger called out.
"You'd better get some nachos there!" Buford exclaimed.
A few moment later, Dr. Baljeet returned as he reported, "We successfully opened the portal, sir."
"Great." Candace nodded.
"Yeah, but the question is, the portal is very unstable. It could only remain for a while, and it can only allow 3 people to get there." Ginger arrived to add.
"I guess we'll go then." Phineas replied as he and Ferb raised their hand.
"Just you two?" Candace asked before Perry stepped out, volunteering. "That's settled, then. Phineas, Ferb, Perry, you guys go to the other dimension, and call our counterparts to help."
"Um, another thing. I need you take these." Dr. Baljeet added as he handed the two boys and the platyborg three communicators, "A little glitch happened, thanks to a certain resisting guy." He sent a glare to Buford before he continued, "You'll be seperated and sent to different locations in Danville, so when you landed, you can use these to connect with each other if you need help."
"Cool!" Phineas gasped as he, Ferb and Perry took these, "Don't worry guys, we'll finish the mission successfully."
"As long as you are safe, this is the most important thing for me." Candace nodded with a smile.
"Phineas... um." Isabella then walked to Phineas, she had a lot of words want to say to him. However, she suddenly had no idea what should she said, then finally she said, "Promise me that you'll be safe. You're an amazing member in the Resistance, and you're my best friend in the world."
"Thanks, Isabella." Phineas smiled at his crush, "I will." He then went into the portal with Ferb and Perry. When the portal disappeared, Isabella mentally cursed herself that she failed to show her feelings to Phineas, again. "Maybe my counterpart knows this better than me. Maybe she had already got her Phineas as her boyfriend." She thought to herself, "I hope she'll come here so that I can ask some advice from her."
Meanwhile, Phineas couldn't help but keep thinking about Isabella. As long as he's happy that Isabella cares about him, he hopes Isabella could regard him as more than just a comrade and best friend. "Maybe I should ask my counterpart for help. I mean, sounds like he has no problem talking about his Isabella, so maybe they have become a couple." He thought to himself, "Man, I totally need some help for this."
This part is settle then. the 2nd Doofenshmirtz family are back, with more powerful force and an unknown ally. How will the heroes beat them? Well, the story just begins.
