The next morning...
Isabella didn't have a good sleep that night. How could she, anyway? Remembering that she kissed Phineas, she kissed her crush because she was sure that they would forget this. Unfortunately, it was proven otherwise yesterday, as they remembered Perry and Pinky are agents, remembered the 2nd dimension and Robot Riot, and remembered she kissed her crush. The last one really gave her a nightmare about Phineas not only didn't return her feelings, but also stopped regarding her a friend, which made her shiver in fear.
Needless to say, she hated this and would rather want to forget this again. A part of her ever wanted to curse Perry for doing this stuff to her, but Isabella's calm side stopped her, knowing the platypus was just wanting to doing good. She then saw the Flynn-Fletcher residence through her window, in worry and fear. She totally feared that her nightmare would come true.
"I can't face him... He probably doesn't wanna see me... He probably hates me..." Isabella thought as she wore her clothes and get downstairs to have her breakfast. (Her mom had already left with Linda and Lawrence to have a band gig, so she would totally have the house for herself.) That thought kept haunting her for a long time, and it made her lose her appetite, "Maybe I shouldn't see him today... maybe I should have the space for myself..." She thought to herself, making up her mind to sneak out her house. However, when she opened the door, she found her troop standing outside, crossing their arms.
"Um, hi girls." Isabella greeted, although she really didn't expect to see them here.
"Going somewhere?" Holly raised her eyebrow, "Don't tell me that you are not gonna see him."
"Um, no. I..." Isabella gulped, "I just need to grab my leash and take Pinky for a walk first."
"We just saw him get out of your house." Gretchen replied, "Apparently, he and Perry would go out to help rookie agents training." Isabella sighed at this. Pinky was originally wanted to put off his task to company her, but she refused, not wanting to let the chihuahua put off his mission for her.
"Listen, chief. You can't just be like this. You have to face him."
"I CAN'T!!!" Isabella screamed as she ran away, hoping to get rid of them.
"Fine, you chose the hard way. Get her, girls!" Adyson declared as the rest of them charged to her, they ran through the backyard and chased her through the streets.
(At the same time)
"That helmet looks so manly."
"You had me at OUR grandchildren."
"You want me to go on a romantic cruise with YOU?"
"Well that's not the Phineas Flynn I fell in...to this situation with."
"So, uh, Phineas, I was wondering if maybe after this, you'd like to go to the premiere of the new Stumbleberry Finkbat movie."
These moments kept haunting Phineas in his dreams, and he finally couldn't stand this so he woke up. Now he thought of this, he really knew that her feelings is quite obvious, yet he still being oblivious of all of this. He hates himself for all of this, especially the time when they stayed in Paris, in the City of Love! She just wanted some time with him, but he was just busy finding plane parts. What's worse was his words before they left.
"That's too bad. I thought the two of you, you know, a boy, a girl, alone in the City of Love."
Gosh, he talked that, TWICE! It was actually originally a hint, but now to think it back, it sounds more like it was just rubbing in her face!
"Do I really deserve her as a girlfriend, or even just a friend?" He thought to himself as he saw Isabella's house through his room's window. Sighing to himself, he got dressed and got downstairs to get his breakfast. His parents was out for a band gig after they finished cooking breakfast. Phineas remembered yesterday he told his parents about this, they were surprised that Phineas finally found out, and more when they heard that he had a crush on Isabella, too. They did their part to comfort and encourage him, as long as they made some encouragement on him, he was still nervous.
"Man, did everyone in Tri-State Area is aware of this? I mean, is Dr.D or OWCA even aware of this?" Phineas thought to himself as he had his breakfast, until he noticed Ferb and Perry texting something.
"Hey, what are you guys texting about?" Phineas asked in curiosity.
"Just telling Vanessa to cancel our date." Ferb replied.
'And I am informing Peter that I need him to take my place to help Doof training.' Perry typed.
"Oh, right. I forgot you two had a date today." Phineas sighed, "Guys, you don't have to do this for me, I can handle this, really."
"Yeah, we don't have to." Perry typed, "But we want to. You are more important, after all."
"Guys, please. I don't want you sacrifice your good time to help me." Phineas begged.
"But Phineas..."
"You really needn't, just go and have your day." Phineas shook his head, "And tell Vanessa and Dr.D that I say hi."
Ferb and Perry finally gave up as they left.
On his way to his lair, Perry was surprised to see Pinky, who had a similar disappointed look on his face.
"You got pushed out, too?" He asked.
"Yeah. Izzy insisted that she could do this, but I really doubt it." Pinky shook his head, "I really hope they can handle this."
"I hope so, Pinky. I hope so."
(Meanwhile)
"You'll never get me alive!"
Isabella was still running away from her troop, that didn't till long, though, when Ginger grabbed her arm.
"I got her!" She exclaimed.
"Ginger, let me go! Or I'll tell Baljeet that you kept a scrapbook filled with his pictures in your attic!" Isabella yelled.
"You wouldn't!" Ginger gasped as she accidentally let go of Isabella, who immediately ran away and jumped on a roof so no one could get her.
"Um, anyone got a 'Jump on a Roof' Patch?" Katie asked, nervously.
"She is the only one that got this." Milly shook her head.
"Face it, girls! I'm not your leader for nothing!" Isabella gloated, but suddenly a rope appeared, tying her up and pulled her down the roof.
"What the?!" All the girls were surprised of this, until they turned to see Buford holding a rope gun, smirking, and Baljeet standing next to him.
"And these are not agent gadget for nothing." He smirked, "How do you like that, girlie?"
"Where did you ever get this?" Milly asked.
"I borrowed this from Perry when I went to his lair."
"By borrowed, he actually meant he stole it and didn't ask for Perry's permission." Baljeet muttered before he got punched by the bully, "And Ginger? Did I just hear that you have a scrapbook of my pictures?"
"Um..." Ginger was nervous.
"I think it's kinda cute. As long as there's not any embarrassing ones, it's okay."
"Oh, thanks Baljeet."
"Well, enough nerd talking! Come on nerd. Dinner Bell needs some mental supporting." Buford pulled Baljeet away, but the girls were confused to hear this when they tried to untie their leader.
"Why would Phineas need mental supporting?" Gretchen asked, "Unless..." She gasped in realization, "Hey chief, you needn't be this nervous, there is hope for you!"
"It... is?" Isabella asked.
"I think maybe Phineas started to realize his feelings on you." Gretchen replied, "Maybe things between you two are starting to go on a good way."
"A... are you sure?" Isabella asked, a bit nervous.
"Well, we would never know unless we try." Adyson replied, "But one thing for sure, if you keep avoiding Phineas like this, it will do no help."
"Yeah, you have to face him if you still wanna save your realtionship." Ginger added, "Who knows? Maybe after all things, he would start to have feelings for you. And not to forget, we got your back."
"Fine, I'll do this."
(Cut to the mall)
Vanessa is seen waiting at the outside of the mall, when Ferb arrived, she simply greeted him, "Hi Ferb, ready for our date?"
Ferb gave her a thumb-up.
"Good." Vanessa smiled. It has been a few weeks after they began officially dating. Before this, Vanessa was dating with Monty, Major Monogram's son. However, their dads eventually find out their relationship, despite Doofenshmirtz had given up evil, Monogram wasn't completely okay with them dating. And plus, something between them didn't work out, so eventually, they agreed to break up but still remain as friends.
That was when Ferb, who had a crush on her ever since they met, came into her sight, after some hanging out Vanessa took a liking to Ferb and decided to try and date with him, much to the silent boy's pleasure. Linda and Lawrence later knew this, as much as they were surprised to hear that Ferb got a date who's older than him, they were supportive of this (Linda had no idea that Vanessa is Doofenshmirtz, her old date's daughter, though). And same goes to his friends, although Ferb was sure that Isabella was also a bit jealous of their relationship because of her own. And Vanessa's friends were also a bit surprised at her dating a boy younger than her, but after some interactions, they took a liking on the boy's personality.
The duo had a walk on the mall before they stopped to have some snacks and rest, before Vanessa asked, "So Ferb, how was Perry's memory-reverse action going?"
"It goes so well, OWCA agreed to let us keep him with knowing his identity." Ferb simply replied.
"So, did you tell him you know his identity all the time?"
"Yes. Yes I did." The truth? Ferb Fletcher is not an oblivious guy, he knows a lot of things that Phineas had no idea about, and that includes Perry being a secret agent. The moment when they fell in Agent P's lair and Phineas kept insisting that he built this, Ferb immediately realized who this 'Agent P' exactly is. He wanted to tell the truth but soon realized this was not the best idea, he realized Perry must have a reason to do this, and he respected this.
Later, what happened in the 2nd dimension adventure confirmed his thought, the reason Perry did this is not wanting to lose them. So in order not to forget this, he secretly used an invisible memory-protecting helmet he made before to protect his memory, and it worked. Despite Ferb felt this was selfish of him to do this, he knew Perry's identity had to keep as a secret.
Later, when Vanessa brought up Perry, Ferb revealed that Perry is his pet, much to the teen goth's surprise. And after this, through Vanessa, Ferb learned a lot about new parts of Perry and Doofenshmirtz, including the Professor Time, the space adventure, the OWCA action, especially the part of Perry and Dr. D had an argument because of misunderstanding. Despite Vanessa adviced Perry to give a card to his best friend, Perry had no idea that it was Ferb's idea from the start. In fact, when Perry decided to regain the gang's memory, it was Vanessa, who got this from her dad, texted Ferb about this, and this was the reason Ferb became so calm that day, because he was totally playing along and later Ferb told Perry that he knew all the time, the platypus was shocked of this but happy that Ferb accepted it.
"So since Perry knows that we know he is a secret agent, when do you think we should tell dad about... um..." Vanessa was heisted to say this. She didn't tell her dad about them dating, knowing how overprotective he can be and fearing that he won't let her date Ferb, most of her dates she was hiding from her dad, hiding from OWCA, and even hiding from Perry. (Although both of them had a feeling that Perry had known this all the time)
"Well, give him some time. I think as long as you are happy, he would accept this." Ferb replied, "Actually. Compare to this, there's something else I'm worried about right now."
"What is it? Did some misunderstanding happened between Dad and Perry, again?"
"Not this, um, you did remember I told you that Isabella kissed Phineas before they got memory erased, right?" Ferb asked.
"Yeah, What do you... oh, I got it." Vanessa immediately realized. Despite not seeing them as frequent as the others were, Vanessa knows about Isabella's endless crush on Phineas through Ferb and Perry, and that made her annoyed, too. Ferb then explained to his girlfriend what happened after they regained their memory.
"You mean he pushed you and Perry away because he didn't want you sacrifice your time for him?" Vanessa gasped in shock and shook her head, "Poor Phineas, I really wished there's something I could help."
"That's appreciated." Ferb smiled weakly as the couple came to a clothes store. Despite Ferb wasn't a fan of punk style, he would like to have a try on it, so he grabbed some punk jacket and went to the dressing room to try it out.
"He would definitely rock in that style." Vanessa thought her self and suddenly, a light flashed behind her and to her surprise, she saw Ferb suddenly appeared behind her.
"Wow, Ferb. You look so rock. But how did you suddenly appeared behind me? And when did you get the haircut and sunglasses?" However, Ferb looked at her in distrust and nervous, "What happened?"
The reason was easy, this wasn't her Ferb, this was Ferb from the other dimension. When Ferb-2 found himself landed in Doofenshmirtz's daughter's counterpart, he was generally surprised. "Guess my counterpart knows his Vanessa well, maybe I can trust her." He thought.
"Vanessa? What happened?" Ferb came out from the dressing room, confused to hear what happened and surprised to see his 2nd dimension counterpart. To be honest, Ferb hadn't seen him or anyone from the other dimension ever since that adventure. If that wasn't because they had to erase the memory, he would definitely want to have a trip there again.
"Ferb? Did you made a copy machine or something?" Vanessa asked, confused.
"Vanessa, that is me from the other dimension." Ferb simply replied. Vanessa immediately realized this, remembered Ferb and her dad had talked about this before. "I haven't seen you for a long time." Ferb continued to say, "How is it going?"
"It's not going well." Ferb-2 shook his head, "Something happened, and we need you and your Phineas' help." He then turned to look at Vanessa in confusion, "You know each other?"
"We're dating." Vanessa simply said, much to Ferb-2's shock, "Come on, Ferbs. We need to get to Phineas." They immediately ran on her car as they drove to Ferb's home.
Doofenshmirtz finishes his agent training!
Ever since he joined OWCA again, Doofenshmirtz knew that he needs to improve himself. Sure, his body can be immune to a lot of injuries, and he's a tech genius, but his physical strength is the most terrible in the team, so in order to improve this, he had begun a series of trainings. Right now, Doof just finished his recent training.
"OK, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, you did a lot better than the previous times before. You had been a bit faster, more flexible, and you can successfully hold on the grappling hooks for 10 minutes! It beats you last record of 5 minutes." Irving checked.
"Wow, thanks." Doof smiled, as he turned to see his team, including Perry as well as Harry the Hyena, Maggie the Macaw and Karen the Cat, and Pinky and Peter, "I did a good job, did I?"
"Nice." Maggie squawked as the others gave a thumb up, except for Perry.
"Thanks, Maggie. What do you think of this, Perry the Platypus?" Doof then noticed something wrong with his best friend, as he immediately realized something happened, "Perry the Platypus? Are you okay? Is something wrong?"
Perry sighed and chattered at what happened yesterday.
"Oh yeah, the love problem between Phineas and Isabella. Sheesh, everyone in Tri-State Area knows this, and he has no idea that she has a crush on him, no matter how obvious she expressed?" Doof realized, Perry had told him of this when Doof started to know more about the platypus' host family.
"It happened for a long time." Irving informed, "Everyone knows this and ships them. But Phineas is too oblivious to this and Isabella is too nervous to make it true. Not to mention, she kissed him when they thought their memory will be erased, but now both of them remembered again."
"This sounds like a soap opera that never has an end. Hmm, should we do something about this?" Doof asked in curiosity, "You know, I can make a Romance-inator or something to give a push."
Perry shook his head, as long as he appreciate Dr.D's help, he doesn't want this took a wrong turn.
"OK, maybe we should wait for a while." Doof sighed, "Well, forget this now. Speaking of love, should it be a good idea to tell Vanessa that I know this all the time and support it... You know, she dating with the other boy of yours, what's his name again? Oh right, Ferb."
Vanessa never had idea that her dad knows her dating Ferb all the time. After the previous breakups she had, Doof was all alarmed when he heard Vanessa dating again, so he and an unwilling Perry spied them. Both of them were shocked when they saw Vanessa is dating with Ferb, Perry was shocked that it was his boy, while Doofenshmirtz was because she dating a boy who was far younger than her. He wanted to cut in before Perry stopped him, motioning him to see longer, and Doof noticed that Vanessa was so happy with Ferb. A few times later, he finally chose to accept this. He wants to tell Vanessa that he knows, but Perry stopped him, not only because that would probably potentially spill his cover, but also fear that it would turn to a wrong way, knowing how overprotective he could be.
"I know I was overprotective in the past, but I have a reason and I am changing!" Doof defended, but suddenly, a light flash above them and a certain cyborg platypus appeared and crashed on Doof, much to the others' shock.
Perry the Platyborg realized he was in front of his counterpart, however, he also turned to see Doof and Peter, unsure about these two, he immediately turned to attack Peter, as the panda tried to defend himself.
"What the... Perry the Platyborg?!" Doof gasped as he recognized the cyborg platypus, who immediately started to attack the former evil scientist as he tried to dodge it, "Whoa, wait, wait, wait, I'm not evil anymore! Perry the Platypus can vouch for me!"
Platyborg finally stopped his attack when he saw his counterpart nodded in agreement. Perry was basically confused of what his counterpart doing here until the cyborg let out a metal chatter.
"You mean what?!" Doof gasped as Perry widened his eyes in shock, "We gotta go now!" He, Perry and Platyborg immediately ran away, and Pinky, Peter, Harry, Maggie and Karen followed them behind.
(Back to the Flynn-Fletcher residence)
Phineas sat under the tree alone, thinking about Isabella. Candace then walked to her brother.
"Hey, Phineas." Candace greeted.
"Hey, sis." Phineas asked, "What are you doing here? Usually you were talking on the phone with Stacy or Jeremy."
"Jeremy is having some fun with his band, and Stacy is helping Jenny and Django with their project. I informed them what happened so I am totally free today." Candace shrugged, "Hey, where's Ferb and Perry? I mean, it totally makes sense on Perry since he's a secret agent, but why Ferb?"
"He has a date with Vanessa." Phineas replied, "And Perry has gone to help Dr.D with his training."
"You just make it sound like they walked away more than you pushed them away." Candace scoffed, "They just wanna support you."
"I know, but I don't wanna ruin their time because of me." Phineas sighed.
"Listen Phineas, we are here is not because we need to, but we want to." Candace sat next to her brother, "What happened between you and Isabella is something you need to handle yourselves, but that doesn't mean we can't do anything to help. We'll make sure to help you prevent anything wrong from you."
"Thanks, sis." Phineas showed a faint smile, "Still, you don't have to do this, though."
"Yeah, we don't have to, but we want to." At the same time, Buford and Baljeet walked in the yard.
"You seemed to be a bit late." Candace replied, knowing Baljeet, he always tend to have an accurate time to arrive.
"Yeah, got ran to Girlie and her troop. Apparently she was trying to avoid Dinner Bell and her troop was stopping her." Buford remarked bluntly.
"BUFORD!!!" Both Baljeet and Candace gasped as they smacked the bully's head.
"She was? I should have seen this coming, really can't blame her." Phineas sighed, after remembering anything, he knew Isabella could not stand this.
"What? No, they had convinced her to come back." Baljeet replied, "Apparently, she has to face this after all, she can't hide from this forever."
"And neither can you." Buford added, "She'll come here for later, just face this."
At the same time, Isabella walked to the yard, with her troop keeping an eye on her, not wanting her run away again. Isabella, didn't say anything or have her cheerful expression, simply waved her hand.
"Should we stay here?" Holly asked.
"Meh, it seemed to be better to leave them alone." Adyson shrugged.
"Fine, if you need us we're in the living room." Candace shrugged as she, Buford, Baljeet and Fireside Girls walked into the house, leaving Phineas and Isabella alone. Isabella, finally having her courage, walked to the tree and sat next to her crush.
"So, um... What cha' doin'?" A moment later, Isabella decided to break the silence.
"Oh, trying to figure out what happened in yesterday exactly. I mean, it was really a shock, I never thought that I was allowed to remember that again." Phineas said, choosing his words carefully because he doesn't want to upset Isabella.
"Oh, yeah. Me neither." Isabella said, mainly because of the kiss, however she wanted to use a different reason, "I still can't believe that my own dog is a secret agent. Then again, it did explain why he suddenly disappears from time to time just like Perry, who's a secret agent as well."
"Yeah. Now to think back, I really should be ashamed of myself." Phineas sighed sadly, "I really was a jerk to him."
"Huh?" Isabella asked in confusion, never heard of this befoee.
"To think when he revealed his identity in front of us, I was really upset of this and directly jumped into the conclusion that he didn't trust us enough and blamed him for this, not even giving him a chance to explain the truth." Phineas sighed, "When he heard the news from the evil Dr.D that he had to hand himself over so we could be safe, he chose to follow this, yet I still thought he didn't want us. Just being oblivious and always jumps at the conclusion." He shook his head and smiled bitterly, "I'm really a terrible friend, am I?"
"What? You're a never a terrible friend!" Isabella was shocked to hear this, as long as she didn't want to face the crush, she hated to see Phineas being down like that, "How could you think you're terrible friend? You're cheerful, you're optimistic, you're brave, you're always there when people need help! And this, this is the reason I always like you!"
"And look at what I have done to you!" The last line accidentally triggered Phineas' heart, "Always being oblivious to your actions no matter how obvious you made, especially the experience we had in Paris, all you wanted is just a romantic scene with me, yet all I cared about is fixing our plane!" He almost wanted to cry, "And guess what's more ironic? I had a crush on you since the day we met."
"Wait, what?" Isabella gasped, couldn't believe this at all.
"Wait, what?" Back to the house, all the Fireside Girls gasped, having seen and heard what happened outside all the time. They looked at Candace, Baljeet and Buford only to see them nodded in confirmation.
"He revealed this yesterday, can't believe no one ever knows this." Buford remarked.
"Yes, I had a crush on you since the day we met. Yet, I never paid any attention on any actions you made on us, and I always thought you only regards me as a normal friend and nothing else, and kept breaking your heart over, over, over and over again!" Back to the backyard, Phineas exclaimed, "Maybe I don't deserve romance, maybe I don't even deserve you as my friend, let alone girlfriend."
He got a slap on his face from his crush as soon as he said that. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! OF EVERYTHING YOU SAID, THIS IS THE LAST WORDS I'VE EVER WANTED TO HEAR FROM YOU! THIS IS NOT THE PHINEAS FLYNN I FELL IN LOVE WITH! YES, YOU MADE ME FRUSTRATED BECAUSE YOU NEVER RETURNED MY FEELINGS, BUT THE MOMENTS YOU ALWAYS HELP ME MAKE IT LESS! I WOULD LIKE TO SAY AMONG ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD, YOU ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON TO CHANGE MY LIFE, ONE PERSON I WOULD NEVER REGRET MEETING IN MY LIFE, YOU MAKE IT BETTER, NOT WORSE!"
"But..." Phineas wanted to say more, but all of this is interrupted when...
Isabella kissed him, on his lips.
"Oooooh..." All the Fireside Girls cooed, having seen what happened outside.
"And I want you listen this, Phineas Flynn, because I will only say it once." Isabella finished the kiss as she continued, "You were, you are, and you'll always be the only boy I love. And, um, do you wanna be my... boyfriend?"
Phineas was shocked of this action. After a few moments, he smiled. "I'd love to have you as my girlfriend, Isabella Garcia-Sharpio. And you'll be the only girl I would ever like. Just like what we sang before, Gitchee Gitchee Goo."
"Gitchee Gitchee Goo, my Little Crumb Cake."
They then kissed again, for more than one minute. When they finished, they saw everyone coming out of the house, being excited to see this and surrounding the newly-formed couple.
"I knew you can do this!" Adyson squealed.
"Great job, chief! Now you can earn your Emotionally Bravery Patch again!" Gretchen commented.
"This went easier than how I thought." Baljeet sighed in relief.
"Yeah, and more disgusting." Buford gagged.
"All right, guys. Maybe we shouldn't push them too far." Candace cut in, "They just formed as a couple officially, we don't wanna break it because we are being too enthusiastic, do we?"
Everyone realized this as they nodded, then Candace nudged her little brother, "Good job, Phineas. I knew you can do this."
Both Phineas and Isabella smiled at this. Deep down, Phineas was happy that he finally got his crush as his girlfriend, and those oblivious days are over, and speaking of this, considering how many times he had unintentionally broke Isabella's heart before, Phineas knew he had a lot to make up with her.
Suddenly, a light flashed above them and got their attention, as they immediately backed away from this, unsure about what it was. Then, a leak opened in the sky and a boy who is identiticial to Phineas fell down.
"Ouch. I should have brought a parachute for this." The boy rubbed his body until he saw the others staring at him in shock.
"Um, I'm not interrupting anything, am I?"
And done. The part which Ferb knows Perry being Agent P is another headcanon of mine ever since I watched "Ready for the Bettys", and I also decided to make Ferbnessa ship here. Also, I also hid a bit Baljinger shipping in this chapter, and they won't be the only minor shippings getting their own scene in this story.
Also, sorry if you think my part on Phinbella is too fast. I'm not good at romantic scenes, but I can promise you I'll improve. The Phinbella moments won't end here in the story. Prepare to see more.
