"There. Those are my choices," I pushed the paper back toward God.
"Very well," he nodded. "Before I send you back, there is one more thing I wish to talk about."
I nodded for him to continue.
"How would you like to receive my falna?" he bluntly said.
…
I blinked…
…
And then blinked again.
"What?"
"I may have taken a peek at the future with my omniscience, and I believe that you will need the help a falna can give," God answered the question I was thinking.
Why? I had planned to go to Orario right away. It should only take about a week of walking, according to the CYOA. That means it would only be one week without a falna. Why would I need to get it early? Unless he saw something with his omniscience that would delay me.
I stared at him. He looked back with a knowing look.
"You know something," I said.
"Yes, If you had plans to join a familia, you don't have to worry. The god could easily convert the falna to their name," he said. "I do think it would help you incredibly if you accepted, but it is ultimately your choice."
I don't know. It doesn't feel like much of a choice if God himself is suggesting it. Besides, I lose nothing by accepting.
"Okay, I'll take your falna," I accepted.
"Excellent." he gave me a genuine smile and reached across the table. I raised an eyebrow. I thought a god needed access to a person's back to apply a falna.
I shrugged, reached, and clasped his wrist. He clasped mine.
I jolted as I felt something shift inside me, and something was etched on my back. Soon enough, he let go and willed a paper sheet into existence. Then, writing slowly appeared on it. He then placed it on the table and showed it to me.

…
"Ithil Dokk Alf… You will be our Legacy…"
…
I blinked as another memory showed itself. I have no idea who that voice belonged to, only that it was female.
But, anyway, Dokk Alf is my family name? That's just Old Norse for 'Dark Elves'. Actually, that makes sense. Riveria's family name is Ljos Alf, Old Norse for 'Light Elves.'
Also, Iron Samson, Deftly Fleeting, and Arcanist were all combined into one skill. Though, I'm a bit worried about what Princess of the Dark Elves will mean for me in the future, while also giving me a glimpse into my past here.
"And there you go," he nodded, then placed a pouch on the table. "Take this. It is the Bag of Holding you requested on your CYOA. It has all the other gear in it and I put in a new outfit for you.
I looked down at the outfit I was currently wearing. It was a simple outfit, and it was pretty dirty. The sleeve was cut off, considering my left arm was cut off with it. Speaking of that, I noticed that the stump was now bandaged up. I flicked my eyes to God, and he nodded to my unasked question.
"Thanks," I said for the Bag of Holding and for healing and bandaging my stump.
"Good luck," he snapped his fingers.
~X~
And I was back in the burned-out village where I was before.
I immediately opened up the bag of holding and pulled out the new clothes. There was a button-up shirt with these four pointed tails, leather boots, and clean underwear.
As I was taking off my old shirt, I noticed the tattoos on my skin, the tattoos that would protect me from a lethal attack. They were dark blue in color, and… they looked like Siren tattoos from Borderlands. They started on my right hand, went up my right arm, and spread on the right side of my torso down to my hip.
The CYOA said I could change them. So, I willed it to lessen its coverage, and they receded until all that was left was a large hollow circle on the back of my hand.
I changed into the new clothes and then pulled out the Wanderer Cloak. It was a hooded black cloak with gold trim and came with a sapphire brooch.
I also pulled out some of the other items.
The flask was empty.
I pulled out the Ring of Aliment and would've slipped it onto my finger…
…but I only had one hand.
I solved it by placing the ring back in the Bag of Holding, stuck my hand inside, and managed to slip the ring onto my ring finger.
With that out of the way, I moved on to the bag of valis, and while it didn't look like it had much, I knew it did.
Next was the self-filling map… but when I pulled it out, it looked like a smartphone.
Uh, what?
*RING*
I jumped a bit when it started ringing and looked at the called ID.
God
"Uh, hello?" I slowly said.
"Hey, you answered," God cheerfully said. "Do you like what I did with your map? I made it a smartphone and added a bunch of new features."
"I see that."
"I also added a waypoint on your map. That's the closest village to you."
I checked the map app, and sure enough, there was a mark, about five kilometers to the east.
"I see. Thanks for that."
"Good, good. Well, once again, good luck on your journey," he hung up.
I ended the call and sighed. What exactly is he planning, doing things like this? I don't think I'll figure it out anytime soon. I slipped the phone into my pants pocket and moved on.
The last item to check out was the living sword, and when I pulled it out… To say I was shocked was an understatement.
The sword I pulled out… It had a purple hilt with a green grip, and the handguard looked like spread wings. It was also sheathed in a scabbard. The scabbard was made with some sort of blue leather with gold designs, but the most telling part was the symbol below the locket.
It was the Tri-Force.
The CYOA gave me the Master Sword?!
I mean… it is a Living Weapon. Fi should still be in there.
…Between God and the CYOA, I feel like I'm being led to go in a specific direction. I'm not sure I like it.
…
…Can I draw the Master Sword?
…
How do I draw a sword with only one arm?
I could try and draw it while carrying it from my back… But how do I strap the sword to my back?
*Bzzzt*
That was my phone. I pulled it out of my pocket and saw a text message from Big G.
"Check your Bag of Holding one more time."
I narrowed my eyes at the message. He knew about the Master Sword.
…Ugh, right, omniscience.
Anyway, I went through the bag and pulled out a leather back sheath. Great, now how do I put that on?
…Could I with Telekinesis? How do I do that?
…
…
No convenient flashback this time? Okay then, how do I do this? I think telekinesis is moving objects with your mind.
Right…
I stared at the back sheath.
…
…It didn't move.
This may take a while.

~ Three Hours Later ~
Okay, thank God (You're Welcome.) that I was extremely talented with magic. I was now skilled enough with telekinesis to equip the leather back sheath and then strapped the Master Sword's scabbard into the sheath. Now that the sword was strapped to my back, it's time to try and draw it.
I slowly reached up over my shoulder and gripped the hilt and…
…tried to unsheathe the sword.
I can feel… something rush through my body…
…
…
…It refused to budge.
The amount of disappointment that I feel right now can't be described in words.
…
(╥_╥)
…
I sighed… Moving on, I unstrapped the Master Sword, took off the back sheathe, and placed both back in the Bag of Holding. No point in equipping them when I can't use them. I then put on the Wanderer Cloak and tied the Bag of Holding to my right hip.
The next village was about six kilometers away, about a one-hour walk.
Let's get started.

~ One Hour Later ~
"Hey, hold up there," a road guard stopped me just outside this farming village. "What's your business here?"
I'm a little surprised he managed to look past my Cloak's enchantments that make me unnoticed. Although, I am the only person on this road and the guard was most likely on the lookout for people, making me easily noticeable.
The guard himself seemed pretty ordinary. He was a man who looked to be in his late twenties. He was wearing a leather chest piece and leather bracers over ordinary work clothes and was holding a spear.
I lowered my hood and I saw a slight blush on his face when he got a look at my face.
"Hello, I'm from the next village over. It was attacked by goblins, there's no one left," I said, and the guard looked pale and horrified at the news. "I came here because this village was closest."
"That's bad news…" he said grimly. "Can you… come with me to see the mayor? She'll want to hear this."
"Alright," I nodded and followed the guard.
I took a look around. We passed by the mill, the blacksmith, some fields and houses, and finally came to the house of the mayor. The house was bigger than the farmers' houses. I suppose that's to be expected.
The guard was about to knock on the door when it suddenly opened. The one who opened it was a woman with long brown hair that was in a low ponytail and brown eyes. She looked to be in her early twenties.
"Hello, Felix. I saw you coming from the window. Is something wrong?" the woman said. She took a quick glance at me and then focused back on Felix.
"Sorry for bothering you, Miss Katie, but this traveler is from Westend. She said it was destroyed by goblins," he reported the bad news.
Katie's eyes widened, then narrowed. "I see. Felix, go and find Captain Cloud. Tell him I need to see him immediately. Then take some extra guards and watch the entrances."
Felix nodded and left to fulfill his orders.
Katie turned to me, and I saw her look me over. I don't know what she was looking for, but she then spoke.
"Hi, I'm Katie Gardner, the mayor of this village. Why don't you come on in? I'll get you some tea," she moved to the side.
"Sure thing," I walked through the door and stopped just inside.
Katie closed the front and then led me to the dining room. There were already two people there. One was an older man, maybe in his mid to late fifties. It's hard to tell. He had short white hair and a short beard. He was dressed in farming clothes.
The other was a boy, about eleven years old, with white hair and red eyes. He has a kind of innocent feel to him. When I look at him, I feel like I'm looking at a baby rabbit. I guess that shouldn't be surprising.
…After all, I'm pretty sure I'm looking at a younger Bell Cranel.
…Which means the man sitting next to him…
I glanced at the god in disguise.
He gave me a friendly smile.
I screamed on the inside.

Chapter 2 is done. Much faster than Soul of a Fate Gamer chapters. Probably because these chapters are about 5000 to 6000 words shorter.
