Kyodai sighs as she walks back to her room. With her wedding a few days away, she was stuck here until her marriage to Danny happens. This was not what she hoped for. She likes Danny, but she didn't want to marry him yet! Hell, for all she knew, Danny could have a girl waiting for him back home! But she then remember what Danny told her back at her cave. Other than a friend who was a girl and sister, he didn't have any other girl waiting for him.
Kyodai sighs before opening her door.
"SURPRISE!"
She flinches when Aisuru jumps in front of her, holding a gift.
"What are you doing here?" She asked, narrowing her eyes.
"You're going to be married soon! You might as well enjoy your last days as a free woman!" Aisuru said.
Kyodai facepalms, knowing that her sister failed to understand what that means.
"I saw Scott flirting with another girl Oni." She said, causing her sister's jaw to drop.
"SCOTT!" She shouted, running out of the room.
Kyodai shook her head. She spotted the gift on the floor and pick it up. She walks over to her head and opens it. She was surprised to see a picture of her and her sisters when they were little. There was also a note.
Onee-san, congrats on finding a husband. Even if you do marry, please know that we always supported you. He might be younger than our husbands, but we can tell that he cares for you very much. We were getting worried. You turned down every guy we brought. For a long time, we thought that you were going to live alone. But we're surprised to hear that you agreed to the marriage. We knew you wanted to marry at your own pace until Mom and Dad force you. They do want to retire, though. However, just know. Mom and Dad have their own reason for forcing this marriage on you. Be warned, they are up to something. We don't know what, but be ready for anything on your wedding day.
With that being said, we wish you luck with your future husband. We'll be cheering for you.
Your sisters.
Kyodai sighs, looking up at her door.
"You're still idiots." She said, smiling.
"And you love us," Daidouji said, smiling back.
Kyodai walks over and hugs her sisters.
"And I'm getting back at that little joke you made," Aisuru said.
"It wasn't a joke. Well, maybe expect the Oni Girl." Kyodai said, causing her sister to sigh.
"He going to owe me a whole year of sex once you get married," Aisuru said, growling.
Kyodai sighs. She might as well get ready for it.
Danny sat with the other guys in what was called the "Husband" room.
"Well, at long last!" Scott said, sighing.
"The day can finally come," Louie added.
"What day?" Danny asked, confused.
"Your wedding with Kyodai, laddie," Scott said.
"Why?" Danny asked.
"Kid, we have been married to our wives for years. Haven't you noticed the one thing that's missing?" Caran said.
Danny was still confused.
"Guys, he's a kid. He doesn't know want we mean." Steven said.
"I'm a teenager! And what are you talking about?!" Danny asked, still confused.
"Fine, to tell the truth. There's a rule placed on the sisters. Until they all got married to their husbands, they can not start a family of their own until they do so." Scott said.
"Wait, you mean that..." Danny said, starting to place it together.
"Yeah, we can't...um...intercourse with them until you and Kyodai get married," Caran said.
"Intercourse?" Danny asked, confused.
However, his eyes widen and his face turns red once he figures it out.
"You mean you guys never had..." He trails off.
"Smarter than ya look, laddie," Scott said, nodding.
"But, why?" Danny asked.
"Because it's the wish of their parents. Should they try before they all get married, we'll be eaten alive." Louie said.
"That's...not right! I mean, I know you guys love your wives, but why should you follow that?" Danny asked.
"Trust us, lad. You don't want to cross an oni." Scott said.
Danny looks at them, still confused.
"Since you're still young, we don't think it will happen between you two so soon," Louie said.
"Word of advice? Don't try to bring that up to their parents. They are a lot more powerful than you think." Steven said.
Danny sighs. He may not know much about love, but he knew enough that the girls were old enough to make their own decisions. Still, he has a long couple of days before he could finally go home.
The next day,
The girls were allowed to take their husbands out of their shine for the day with Danny and Kyodai walking next to each to her. Lots of Yokai and other creatures noticed and heard the news that Kyodai was finally getting married.
"Is that the boy?"
"I think so. He's so young!"
"Why would Kyodai marry someone so young?"
"I heard that they were forced to get married."
Danny sighs as he picks up the whispers from the other creatures. They weren't too far off the mark about him and Kyodai. He could only dread on what his family and friends would think if they discovered this. He knew it would be nothing good.
"Danny? Are you okay?" Kyodai asked.
"I'm a little worried about what my family would think if I came home with a girl two to three taller than me and tell them that she's my wife," Danny said, sighing.
"I'm sorry. Maybe I should have left with telling them." She said.
"It's fine. Just remember our pact." Danny told her.
"So, you two. Ready to start this wedding off with a bang!" Aisuru asked.
"Aisuru, you know the rules. It's their wedding. They have to pick." Samui said.
The she-oni frowns, seeing her many plans crushed by that one rule.
"What do you have rules for your marriages?" Danny asked.
"It's mom's and dad's wishes. We tried to tell them were not little anymore, but..." Aisuru sighs.
"They were set on their rules and didn't want to change anything." Shai finished.
"That's not helping any of you," Danny said, shaking his head.
"Lad, remember what we said yesterday?" Scott said.
"Look, all I'm saying is that these rules are not helping you. You all love your husbands, right?" Danny said then asked.
"Yes." The girls said.
"Then it's your life. You don't need your parents anymore. You should follow your own rules." Danny said, surprising a lot of creatures.
"If only they could see it that way," Kyodai said, remembering the letter her sisters gave her.
"So, what do you two want to do before your wedding day?" Steven asked.
"Well, I'm still new to this whole wedding thing, so I don't have clue," Danny said, rubbing the back of his head.
"Airsuru, you sound like you had an idea. What was it?" He then asked.
"Before anyone worries, it has nothing to do with what I did for my wedding. I was thinking of hitting our favorite spot." She said.
"The Oni Screamer?!" Kyodai asked, surprised.
"The what?" Danny asked, confused.
"You'll see," Kyodai said, remembering that place well.
"Guess that's why you're dressed up this time," Scott said, noticing her clothes.
"Do you like it?" She said, twirling around.
"Honey, you know I love you in whatever you wear," Scott said, smiling.
The sisters rolled their eyes, though Sumai did it without emotion. The other guys had to pity the Scotsman. He was in for a long year once the wedding happen.
The Oni Screamer,
Everyone enter an old building before the owner, a Tengu, saw them before he smiles.
"Well, I'll be! Welcome back, girls!" He said, glad to see his old visitors.
"Hey, Ten! Nice to see you!" Aisuru said.
"Kyodai? Is that you?" The Tengu said, surprised to see her.
"Hello, Ten. Glad to see this place is still running." She said, smiling.
"You kidding? Seeing you again fires up the old warrior spirit! What can I get ya?" He said, laughing.
"The Special," Aisuru said, surprising him.
"Wait, does that mean?" He started to ask.
"Yes, I'm getting married." Kyodai sighs.
All of the creatures stopped what they were doing. They couldn't believe what they heard.
"Is that so? And who's the lucky man?" The Tengu asked.
"He's more of a boy," Samui said.
"Mom and Dad want me to get married before I leave Japan," Kyodai said.
"AH! I see now. Still, seeing you again is a treat. You can bring in your husbands." He said.
The guys walked in and Danny stood next to Kyodai.
"Hmm, how old are you son?" The Tengu asked.
"14, way too young to be married," Danny said, sighing.
The Tengu looked over him. While he didn't have the build of a warrior, he could sense that he had a warrior spirit in him. Plus, they look to like each other but haven't been together that long.
"They're rushing again, aren't they?" He asked the sisters.
They nodded and he sighs. He turns to Danny and offers a smile.
"Welcome to the family, kid. Sorry, you had to go through this." He said.
"Thanks...I think." Danny said.
The girls headed towards the table with their husbands sitting next to them. It didn't take long for the food to come and they started eating. Danny sat Kyodai, noticing she was a little annoyed.
"Relax," Danny told her, placing his hand on hers.
"Married or not, we're doing this together. Remember our pact." He told her.
Kyodai smiles, seeing the kindest she saw in him before. She might be getting married, but she was going to do it on her terms.
And I drew a blank after that. Couldn't think of anything else after that last scene. I was going to have the Wedding in the next chapter, but I feel like I could have done more. Sorry about that, folks. These things happened.
Anyways, Kyodai's sisters still love her, and they did warn her that their parents were up to something. Though, they have no clue what it is. Danny did spend time with other husbands, seeing that he's going to join them soon.
A little get-together, but like I said, I came up blank after that. So, one more chapter before Danny's and Kyodai's wedding.
And just to clear up any confusion with a guest reader, it was how you wrote it, AnimeGoji91. It gave off a different meaning than what you meant. So yes, I thought you meant something else instead of what you meant. The whole trip back home is just going to be between Danny and Kyodai. I might have the sisters and their husbands visit them later.
