Danny watched as Kyodai and her sisters fought the guards, keeping them away. As much as he wanted to step in and help, he could tell they had it handled. The husbands watched their wives, seeing how angry they looked.
"I never seen Samui look angry before," Caran said.
"Tell me about it, Shai looks so different," Steven added.
"Why did you marry them?" Tucker asked.
"Because saw more than the beauty they had," Scott said.
"As we got to know them, we saw a lot more than what their parents did," Louie added.
"Plus, we also married them in our home countries too," Scott said.
"And they have been waiting for years to start a family. And we wanted that too." Louie said.
"Danny?" Jazz asked, looking at him.
"Jazz, I'm 14. Do you really think I would do that?" He told her.
"So, you not going to jump in?" Tucker asked.
Danny just looked at the Oni sisters, seeing Aisuru punching a guard's teeth out. He also saw Samui break another guard's arm and saw Shai trying to rip off another's arm. He then saw Daidouji pile drive a guard's head into the ground as Kyodai picked up two guards and bodyslams them into the ground.
"Yeah, I'm not getting involved with that," Danny said, glad that he was not needed.
"Smart choice, lad." Scott agreed.
The other husbands agreed, knowing how dangerous oni are when they are angry.
"Should we be getting out of here?" Sam asked, making everyone look at her.
"Sorry, lass, but we can't do that," Scott said.
"Why?" Sam asked.
"Because of them," Steven said, pointing to the in-laws.
Danny looks at Kyodai's parents, the ones who were trying to force him and Kyodai to stay in Japan and make them follow their wishes. Still mad about that, Danny marched up to them, shocking the others.
"Danny!?" Jazz asked, surprised.
Kyodai's parents were surprised to see their new in-law son walking up to them. However, that surprise was replaced with anger.
"Did we say you can step up to us?" Her mother said.
"Shut up and listen," Danny said, shocking them.
"You dare..." Her father started but Danny overspoke him.
"I said LISTEN!" He shouted, his eyes glowing green.
"You two care more about what you wanted rather than everyone else wants. You forced me and Ky to get married when she clearly told you that I'm only 14! I have four more years before I'm old enough for any of that!" He shouted, getting closer.
Kyodai's parents looked ready to try something against the boy that turned their daughters against them, but they could sense something off with him.
"You treated them as if they were dolls, not your daughters. You never care about them! You only care about yourselves!" Danny said, angry.
"From what I learned this past few days, you two tried to control your daughters through their whole life! You never looked past what you wanted, only seeing them as tools! And I had enough of that!" Danny shouted.
Kyodai notices Danny standing up to her parents, making her smile.
'Wow, he's so brave.' She thought, feeling her heart flutter.
Danny didn't stop there, he didn't care that he was facing down two Onis. He fought the King of Ghosts, the Master of Time, and many other ghosts that were more powerful and lived.
"You can't decide our fates like that! I got to know Ky before we came to see you! I got to know her sisters! And I saw a family! But you two saw dolls to dress up! I know for a fact you never love them! You barely know anything about the husbands you let them get married to! Me and Ky made a pact. NO ONE will tell us how to love each other!" Danny told him.
"That's enough out of you!" Kyodai's Father said, swinging a fist at Danny.
Danny ducked under it before throwing his own punch, knocking the air out of him. That case the fighting to stop as the sisters looked in shock. Danny pulled his fist back before sighing.
"There's a reason I can blast energy from my hand, and feel a lot stronger than I looked. I was born human and lived as one for the past 14 years of my life. However, one day, an accident changed my life. It turned me into something that the girl's husband knew." Danny said before turning into his ghost form.
"Bless me bagpipes!" Scott said, shocked.
"It can't be," Caran said, his eyes widening.
"You mean he's..." Louie asked, trying to believe what he was seeing.
"The American Yokai?" Steven said, stun.
"It made me a hero. And made me more believable in other myths and monsters." Danny said, seeing the shocked looks on Kyodai's parents' faces.
"We going to take care of business here and then I'm going home! And you're not going to stop us!" Danny said before moving back.
"And if you two try anything with Ky, or her sisters, or their husbands, you can bet I'll head to them as fast as possible to make sure you never harm them!" Danny said, floating close to his friends and sister.
"Danny? Is that you?" Kyodai asked, walking up.
"Yeah. I was hoping to tell you in a much better way." Danny sighed as the sisters walked up.
"Strong," Samui said, emotionless.
"And cute!" Aisuru said, once more hugging Danny between her breasts.
"Aisuru..." Scott said, shaking his head.
Sam looked ready to explode but Steven placed a hand on her shoulder to stop her.
"Don't let her get to you. She does that to everything she likes and finds cute. And since he wed to Kyodai, she knows she can't take him." He told her.
Sam still glares and Tucker and Jazz sigh. Kyodai pulled Danny from her sister before facing her parents.
"Danny's right. We were never your daughters. I'm not going to stand here and let you mod me and my sisters to be your perfect little dolls. I told you that Danny was too young and I had NO plans of marrying him! I wanted to be his friend first! But no, everything has to be your way! You didn't care that we wanted our own things. My sisters wanted to start their families, but you forced them to wait until I got married first! You have no right to force them to wait! And you have no right to choose me and Danny to take your place WITHOUT asking us FIRST!" She said, glaring.
"We're leaving, and you can't stop us! Besides, we beat all the guards you send." She added, pointing to the broken bodies.
Seeing that they were far outnumbered and had no way to get their daughters to listen, Kyodai's parents were left with no choice.
"Fine, but this won't be the last you'll hear of us." Her mother said.
"You are no longer welcome in our home. If any of you so much step in the overworld, you will be killed on sight." Her father said.
"It was never home," Kyodai said, not caring about their threat.
Soon, another door rose from the ground and opened. Her parents stepped through it before it shut and disappeared back into the ground. Danny sighed and turned back to normal.
"Never thought you'd have Danny Phantom for an in-law, huh?" Danny tried to joke.
"Lad, we've been married to Onis for years now. Something tells us we're going to get used to this really quickly." Scott said.
"Though, we do want to know the full story," Aisuru said.
"Okay, but first, I need you all to promise me that you can't tell anyone about this," Danny said, confusing them.
"Remember my parents and how they hunt ghosts?" Danny told them.
"They don't know about you?" Kyodai asked, shocked.
Danny shook his head. Kyodai felt bad for him. Sounds like she has a lot to talk about when she sees her in-laws.
Later,
It didn't take long for them to reach Steven's village. Both he and Shai were talking to his parents about what happened as the others stood outside. Danny found himself being hugged by Aisuru again, making Scott roll his eyes.
"Honey, I love you, but can you please stop flirting with him?" He asked.
"If you stop staring at every girl that crosses your path." She told them.
"And how are they still married?" Tucker asked.
"I may have been drunk when I first met me wife, but I never plan on hurting her," Scott said.
"Plus, I'm doing this to make sure Scott keeps his wedding vow to me. But my new brother-in-law is just so cute!" Aisuru added, hugging Danny tighter.
Sam growls, trying not to let her anger show. Jazz sighs, knowing that Sam was not going to let this drop. Suddenly, Aisuru reached over and pulled her into the hug as well.
"And I can't forget my new sister-in-law!" She said, stuffing both Fenton siblings in her breasts.
"Her name does mean Love, after all." Louie sighs.
"Do you want to stop her before both of them pass out from the lack of air?" Caran asked Samui.
"Sister. Let them breathe." Samui said, with no emotion.
"Seriously! Can you show even a little emotion?!" Sam yelled.
"I am," Samui said.
Aisuru let go of the two, Danny taking in huge gulps of air as Jazz tried to cool her red face down.
"She's...um...big." Jazz said.
"Kyodai's is bigger," Aisuru said, making her sister roll her eyes.
"Aisuru, I know you're finally happy that I got married, but can you please leave my husband and his sister alone?" She asked.
"Sure...wait! You called Danny your husband!" Aisuru said, surprised.
"We are married. But I won't force him into anything he doesn't want or is not really for. Not to mention some of the guys here are looking at me." Kyodai said.
"Oh, right! Oni's claim, got it." Aisuru said, nodding.
"Oni's claim?" Danny asked.
"It's to let others know that I'm taken. Yes, you're a bit younger than my sisters husbands, but it does help keep those you don't like off you. Like those two morons that tried to crash our wedding." Kyodai reminds him.
"Right. Another reason to count this as our honeymoon." Danny sighs.
Steven and Shai soon step out, thanking his parents before walking up to them.
"Good news. My parents have agreed to get all of us tickets to go to the US." He said.
"What?" Danny asked, surprised.
"We haven't seen Kyodai in many years. We want to be close by. If thats ok?" Shai said, shyly.
Danny turns to Kyodai, they are her sisters.
"Truthfully, I wanted to ask you all to join me. I know Mom and Dad were forcing you to stay at the Shine. I did miss you." She said.
"But why tickets?" Sam asked.
"Because our wives wouldn't fit inside that spaceship of yours," Scott said.
Sam growls, getting really tired of hearing that word.
"SHE'S NOT HIS WIFE! DANNY IS TOO YOUNG!" She shouted.
"Sam, stop!" Jazz said, pulling the goth girl back.
The Oni sisters could easily tell why Sam acted like that. And seeing that Danny was lost about the action made it clear he had no idea why. However, they decide to wait until later to get the chance.
"Well, getting a chance to live in the US would be nice," Aisuru said.
"It better be as good as Cuba," Samui said.
"Trust me, sweetheart. The US isn't a bad place to live. There's a reason it's called the land of the free." Caran said.
"You been there?" Jazz asked him.
"No, but I heard of many things about it," Caran said.
"Well, count me in!" Daidouji said, looking ready to go.
"If it gets me from my parents, I'm all for it," Louie said, surprising Sam.
"Well, I guess everyone is coming home," Danny said, wondering how his town would handle real-life Onis.
And after over 10 months, I finally got around to writing the next chapter of Oni Lover. Because of how long it's been, I forget what I had planned for the fight sense, but I did show a bit of it. I do remember that Oni are dangerous, even when they're mad. I had Danny stand up to Kyodai's parents and even had him transform in front of them. Danny will tell them the full story during the trip back to the US. And yes, Sam is jealous and the Oni Sisters will confront her about it later.
