Danny groans as Dash stomps up to him, no doubt wanting to get back at him for what Kyodai said. Dash clearly missed what Kyodai told him and thought it was his fault he missed a chance to hit on a new girl.
"Fenton!" Dash shouted, looking ready to grab him.
Danny ducks under his hands and backs away. Dash kept trying to grab him and Danny kept dodging.
"You're going to pay for making me look bad in front of a girl!" Dash shouted, still trying to grab him.
"Really? Even though she said she liked me?" Danny asked, still dodging.
"You're a wimp! And wimps don't get cute girls!" Dash shouted.
"Says you," Danny said, knowing that was very untrue.
"Hold still!" Dash shouted, still reaching for him.
"No. I'm done being your punching bag." Danny said.
"Mr. Baxter, Mr. Fenton."
Both boys stopped when Mr. Lancer stepped up, looking at both of them.
"Might I ask what you are doing?" He asked.
"Fenton started to tease me about a rumor he heard about me." Dash fakes whines.
"I did not!" Danny shouted.
"Is that so? Then you have detention, Mr. Fenton." Mr. Lancer said.
"Is that how you treat your students? Not even giving the other a chance to explain themselves?"
Danny blinks before seeing Aisuru behind Mr. Lancer.
"Ais?" He asked, surprised.
"Hello, Danny. Nice to see you again." Aisuru said, smiling.
"You know Mr. Fenton?" Mr. Lancer asked.
"Indeed, he was with me and my family when he was kidnapped. We helped him get home and he pretty much joined the family." Aisuru said before pulling Danny into a hug.
"Plus, he's so cute!" She added, making Danny sigh.
Dash growled as Mr. Lancer looked surprised.
"Ais, I'm in school, you can get into trouble for this," Danny told her.
"Oh, I know. I just wanted to hug you." She said, putting him down.
Danny shook his head, he knew she wouldn't stop. He then turns to Dash, knowing he was ready to try something.
"As for you," Aisuru said, glaring at Dash.
"Kyodai already informed us about what you tried to do. You try to harm him or get him into trouble, and I don't care who you are, you will learn what happens if you mess with someone that we call family." She said, noticing Dash was looking down her shirt.
"There are only two people that could look there." She said, standing back up.
Danny sighs, knowing that Aisuru was talking about Scott and himself.
"Oh, Danny? Do you think you can check up on Samui later? I'm worried for her. I know Caran turned himself in, but..." She asked him.
"Yeah. I was thinking of doing that after school." Danny nods.
"Thank you." Aisuru nodded.
"Who Samua?" Dash asked.
"It's Samui and that's my sister," Aisuru said before she glared at him.
"And I ask Danny to check on her. So don't even think about trying to take his place." She warned him.
"Miss..." Mr. Lancer started.
"And you need to stop choosing one side of the other! If you're that quick to believe this boy over Danny, then you have no reason to work here!" She added, growling more dangerously.
"You might want to want to listen to her. I've seen how mad Ais and her sisters get when they're mad. You don't want them after you." Danny said, knowing she wouldn't hurt them unless they pushed their luck.
He then turned to Aisuru and placed a hand on her arm.
"Calm down, Ais. What are you doing here anyway?" Danny asked her.
"Oh, I wanted to see what your school is like if my child chooses to come here." She said.
"Still working on that?" Danny asked.
"Even since Samui said she was pregnant, Scott and have been working double time to catch up," Aisuru said.
"Um, Ais, maybe you should save that until after we leave the school?" Danny asked, blushing a bit.
"Sure. See you later, cutie." Aisuru said before kissing his cheek.
With that, the she-oni left the school, sending Danny a cute wink. Danny sighed and shook his head.
"You think I'll be used to her tricks by now," Danny said to himself.
Later,
Danny left school, able to avoid detention, and headed for Steve's and Shai's place. Steve and Shai had explained to everyone they were doing everything they could, but Shai was very worried for her sister. Danny was thinking of a way to reach Caran, thinking maybe hearing his voice or at least visiting him could help her feel better. But he feels he should at least check on her. He reached their place and knocked on the door. It opened slowly before he saw Shai peeking out. When she saw it was Danny, she opened the door wider.
"Danny!" She said, happily.
"Hey, Shai. How's Samui doing? Ais asked me to check up on her." Danny said.
"She's hurting, but she doing her best." Shai nodded.
"Does she mind getting visitors?" Danny asked.
"She doesn't. I think she'll be happy to see you. We talk about you a lot and...yeep!" Shai started before covering her mouth.
"It's okay, Shai. I know you won't say anything bad about me. You and your sisters proved that to me." Danny said, seeing the girl blushed.
Shai nods before letting Danny in. Their house was normal. Nothing out of place, but Danny did see a few things that were from Japan or of Japanese origin. Shai led him to Samui's room before she knocked on the door.
"Samui? Can I come in?" She asked.
"Sure."
She opened the door and saw Samui sitting on her bed, reading a book that Steve had given her.
"Hey, Samui," Danny said, making the She-Oni turn.
"Danny? What brings you here?" She asked, emotionless.
"Ais asked if I could check on you. Your sisters are worried and so am I, honestly." Danny told her.
Samui didn't smile but Danny knew she felt touched that her family still cared about her. She sat up before patting the spot next to her. Danny sat down as Shai remained by the door.
"Samui, do you want anything?" She asked.
"No, thank you." She said, making her sister nod.
"Okay." She said, getting ready to leave.
"Shai...
She looked back at her sister.
"Thank you," Samui said.
"Thank Aisuru, she was the one that told Danny to come see you," Shai said before leaving her sister and brother-in-law alone.
"I was coming to check on you even if no one asked me to," Danny said, making her nod.
"Seriously, Samui. Are you okay? I know it's only been a few days, but everyone is worried." Danny asked her.
"I'm fine. I know he'll return." She said, patting her belly.
"Now that I think about it, how is an Oni from humans when they have a child?" Danny asked.
"A lot different. But since this one is a hybrid of oni and human, it might be different from both onis and human pregnancy." She said, unsure herself.
"Well, I was thinking of a way you can go see Caran during his prison time. Though, I'm not sure if they are going to transport him to Cuba because most of his crimes did take place there." Danny said, looking at her.
"I'm sorry if I made things worse..." He started.
"You didn't. I stayed in Cuba myself for a while before my parents forced us both to remain in the Shine. If I have to go there to visit, I will." Samui said.
Danny nods.
"Hey, Samui, if you need anything, let me know." He told her.
"A kiss." She said.
"What?" Danny asked.
"A kiss. Something to help me. I miss the affection that Caran gives. Steve won't do it and I don't trust Scott. Louie would never do anything to Daidouji. I know you're married to Kyodai, but you were an amazing kisser." Samui said.
"Are you sure? Last time you asked Ky before you asked me." Danny asked.
"I know. I miss Caran. And I'm happy he's trying to his life around. But I miss his jokes, his hugs, and even his sneak attacks." She said before looking at him.
"Until he returns, I need someone to fill in for a bit. I would never steal you away from my sister. I don't count this as cheating. I just want to make sure my love for you doesn't fade away." Samui said.
"And I'm sure it won't, but Samui, you can't just use me to replace Caran like that. I'm happy to help you in any way I can, but you can't go around asking me to kiss you or anything like that. It could give people the wrong idea and I'm trying to avoid that with Ky." Danny told her.
"She told me about that. It was also nice to hear that you wanted to take her out on a date." Samui said.
"Well, I like her. She's not only pretty but kind and smart. I like being around her. I'm still getting used to this whole "Husband and Wife thing", but I feel my life has changed for the better. And I'm only 14!" Danny said, smiling a bit.
"Kyodai talks about you a lot. She admits that she's happy to meet you. If there was one thing she was glad for, it was the fact you two met. She even told us that she was hoping for the day that you two don't have to hide the fact you're married." Samui said.
"Really? Well, we did hang out a lot during the trip." Danny said, blushing.
Samui looks at him before she places a hand on his cheek, making him look at her.
"Danny, I'm not asking you to kiss me because I want Caran to be removed from my mind. I'm asking because you're family. I like you. As the rest of my sisters. Shai was talking to me earlier about wanting to do some things with you that she never did with her other crushes. She plans on asking Steve first before she does anything." Samui said.
"Well, Steve did tell me during the boat ride here," Danny said.
"Shai is different from the rest of us. She may not show it, but she really likes you. When we decided to ask if there was anyone we would date if we weren't married, she kept picking you." Samui said before looking away.
"We all admitted that would love to date you at some point. I could see it in Shai's eyes when she asked if I wanted anything. Danny, she really wants to kiss you. As do I." She said, surprising him.
Danny looks down. There was something about Kyodai's sisters that he couldn't place. They all admitted they were happily married to their husbands, and they would never take him away from Kyodai. However, Danny sighs. The guys even mentioned that they were fine with wives seeking Danny out. They know he'll never do anything against their wishes and they understand their wives would do nothing to hurt their sister.
"Okay. But remember what I said." Danny said, seeing Samui nod.
"Thank you," Samui said, pulling Danny into a kiss.
Shai stood outside of the door, trying her best not to speak up. She heard from Aisuru, Samui, and Kyodai about how amazing Danny was at kissing. Besides her, Daidouji was the only one that has yet to kiss him. Shai couldn't help it. She knew that Danny was married to Kyodai and was happy for her, but she wanted Danny so badly. Nothing huge, just a few dates and LOTS of kisses. Shai couldn't help but think at times that she and Kyodai had the wrong husbands. Of course, she loved Steve and there was nothing wrong with him, but since meeting and getting to know Danny, she wished that she had met Danny first.
She took a breath. She needed to get herself under control. Danny was not some trophy. She soon walked up looking ready to speak up before spotting someone at the window.
"EEK!" She screams, shocking both Danny and Samui.
"Shai?" Danny asked, seeing Samui jump up.
Samui growls as Danny sees them both looking out the window. He turns and sees Dash trying not to fall as he holds a cell phone in his hand. Danny quickly places together what Dash was hoping to do when he speaks to him again.
Dash notices and quickly tries to climb down. Samui turns and runs out of the house, ready to catch Dash. Danny sighs before he helps Shai calm down.
Okay, that will be it for now. So, Aisuru visited Danny's school and called out both Dash and Lancer for their treatment. She even asked Danny to check up on Samui. So far, Samui is doing okay. She misses Caran but knows she has family looking out for her. And it turns out Shai really wants to date Danny. However, she doesn't want to hurt Steve or Kyodai. She doesn't want to be selfish and knows that Danny is a person. Though, she sometimes can't help but think she should have married Danny. But again, she knows that she loves Steve and doesn't want to hurt him. Samui is the same way. She doesn't want to use Danny as a means to get over Caran. She's emotionless, not heartless.
And in case I don't cover anything about Sam, for those who are wondering, Sam is still in denial about Danny's words. She also still trying to process what Danny told her. Not sure if it will go anywhere just yet. I might just try using an idea that I mention in a lot of stories, have Sam go off the deep end and become a villain.
It also reminds me of another Danny/OC story I thought of, only this time I thinking about using a villain. A 14-year-old girl who is a villain who took over her town, but she has no hero to stop her. After hearing about Danny Phantom, and how he would save the day, she would choose him as her arch-enemy. However, when disguising herself as a normal girl, she falls for Danny Fenton, not knowing he's Danny Phantom. Would you all mind if I tried that?
