I. HAVE. RETURNED!

I said during my last post "The next post will be when the chapter is up." Now is that time!

What's going on in the world? The show got a call out in "High on Life" and RayShinobi's channel. It felt surreal to hear Justin Royland talk about Code Lyoko. We're also nearing the 20th anniversary of the series so hopefully we hear some news. A new show would be awesome, but even an interview or celebration video from the current owners of the IP would be great.

Thank you for reading all of the story so far. As of this post I have 6 episodes published.

It's been a ton of work to get this far. As my intro says, I've been working on this since 2015. Every week, every month, of every year, I've always been planning, writing, or gathering information to make this series real.

I will say that the plan for 5 episodes split between the arcs is still in motion. With some changes.

I do want to keep to a schedule. Estimated time to complete an episode should be 50 hours. So unless everything has gone terribly wrong there should be a new episode completely written every 5 – 10 weeks. Obviously I'm aiming for 5.

That doesn't mean there will be a 5 week break between episodes. You may notice I post episodes by splitting them into parts. A new part will be released once / week so by the time one episode is completely published, another episode will be completed.

I want to upload the original 6 updated pilot episodes, my special episode Sissi, and the new Deckard Incident episodes starting with a new part today! I will be working on the other two episodes from the Carthan 2 arc during that time.

The Carthan 2 arc episodes will be released soon after. They still require some review. Also there will only be two instead of three. Funny enough, because of the rewrite I did on the literary bible, character arcs and episode timeline on my last break, that was an episode that got shuffled around. And that's how I came to realize when I was working on the third episode this batch that it relied on some elements that hadn't happened yet in the story. So I shoved that out to the next "batch". Although with the new schedule, there shouldn't be "batches" anymore, rather a continuous release of new parts week to week so you shouldn't notice anything with this new release schedule.

I hope you can enjoy this format and that it allows me to publish more consistently.
