What are special episodes?

The special episodes are short stories that aren't full length regular episodes. Typically focus on one or two main characters with other main characters serving as support roles or in the background or just not even used.

[In classroom]

Teacher Fumet: Your homework for this weekend is a report on the Charter of 1814. I want you to include its effect on the chambers and how its effects can be seen today. You know the submition type by now: MLA format, seven-page minimum, single line spaced. Due on Monday.

Side character 1: Oh come on!

Odd: That will take the whole weekend!

Side character 1: We can't do that in two days!

[Bell rings]

Fumet: Oh look. If you have any questions on the requirements, the assignment will be on the website. No I don't have time now, I must be going.

Sissi: He can't just give us that and walk away.

Side 3: He just started talking about the charter today.

Sissi: What even is the Charter of 1814?

Side 1: I don't know, he just kept reading out of the presentation. I have no idea what half that meant.

Ulrich: He wasn't even paying attention when I asked. He just reread the slide. If he's not even trying to teach us then why should we care about his dumb assignment?

Odd: There goes date night with Sam.

Side 1: You know what I heard? He's having trouble at home. And now he's taking it out on us.

Sissi: Well then, we will just have to band together and show him we won't stand for it. We shouldn't have to be punished for his problems. Boycott! Whose with me?!

[Loud cheering from the other extras in the classroom. Door creaks. The LW are slipping out through the door.]

Sissi: Hey this only works if we're all in it.

Ulrich: Uh yeah, sorry. We don't really have time for a rally or protest. I'm just gonna fail.

Jeremy: Statistically speaking, it isn't a test or end of unit assignment so it shouldn't affect our grade that much. [silences an alert on his phone that he had already silenced once already]

Side 3: Oh really? Then never mind.

[Him and a lot of others leave the classroom with the LW.]

Sissi: What gives?

[White light of RTTP covers the scene and suddenly everyone is back in their places.]

Sissi: …Boycott, whose with me?!

Odd: Maybe if the problem in Fumet's life, if it goes away, he might lighten up on the assignment.

Aelita: Or at least push back the due date.

Sissi: Good idea. In the meantime, you all blow out his inbox with emails refusing to complete the assignment.

Side 4: I can go tell Jim. He will agree with us.

Sissi: …so I knew if there was anyone who had the tea on Fumet, it would be you. I know we haven't exactly had the best relationship in the past, but I'm trying to amend a lot. So please, for the good of the entire grade, do you think you could find it in your heart to forgive me?

[Millie and Tamia are nonplused.]

Tamia: Do we believe her?

Millie: What do you have to say about the Kadic News?

Sissi: You two are the boss of it. Now, then, and forever. I was wrong to step in and try to improve what is clearly the dream team.

Millie: Alright, I forgive you. But honestly, we don't know where to start.

Sissi: What about the rumor about Fumet having home trouble.

Tamia: Yeah, we know about that. We're the ones who spread it.

Millie: We don't know who started it though.

[White light covers the scene again. Suddenly, Yumi is there despite not being there previously.]

Yumi: Is there anyone who would know what was going on a Fumet's home?

Millie: Oh, Isn't Fumet the father of one of the students here?

Tamia: Oh yeah. Clothilde Gilles. You can ask Her.

[At the Canteen trailer where lunch is being served.]

Clothilde: Yeah I heard about the charter assignment. Glad I'm not in your grade.

Sissi: We know this is unfair. Is there something happening at home that might be making him mad?

Clothilde: So you heard about that.

Sissi: I want to find out if there's any way I can make the problem in your dad's life go away so he'll let up.

Clothilde: Yeah, my dad really was in to historical fashion. He's made it pretty clear history teacher wasn't exactly his dream job, but it's what he got dealt.

Sissi: How's that connected?

Clothilde: Well he's been applying designs based on historical figures to a show. Trying to bring back a lot of old styles. The first critique came back this week and judging from how frantically he's been redoing a lot for the next show, they didn't go so well.

[At Sissi's dorm room.]

Sissi: …and can you show up to the fashion show Fumet is at tomorrow. If we support him, he'll probably let up. [listens] Okay, fine. Be that way. [hangs up. Dials another number. Switches to her computer where she makes a post to an online group with the same request.]

[While she's doing this, the camera is lined up with the window showing the campus ground outside.

Odd and William are wrestling with a giant spider made out of stickers and other normal sticky substances, honey bottles and glue sticks. It has Jeremy in a web of adhesive neon stars and Yumi is trying to cut him free with a pocketknife while Odd and William hold it still.]

[Cut to Mr. Fumet angrily escorting Sissi out of a convention center building in downtown.]

Mr. Fumet: Not only did you put on that ridiculous performance, getting me disqualified, you should be working on your assignment.

Sissi: Hmph, well I was just trying to heeeelp [elongates the word "help"]

[She turns around just as a white flash covers the scene.]

[Now back in Sissi's dorm room.]

Ulrich: Hey Sissi. Maybe we shouldn't be involving ourselves in Mr. Fumet's life outside school so much.

Aelita: He probably won't appreciate us there at the show instead of working on the assignment.

Sissi: Well then how would you fix this sticky situation?

[Now it's a new day where Sissi is talking with a couple students by the vending machines.]

Side 2: I heard that Fumet is in a much better mood. He got spammed with messages from everyone in class appreciating his original designs and finding a lot of cool things about them.

Side 1: He's also got a deal of some kind. Apparently the judges have been seeing a bunch of designs online recently and believe he's onto something that is cutting edge.

Sissi: Huh, weird coincidence. Have you been seeing those types of outfits online.

Side 1: No, must have just been the judges.

Side 2: But Fumet must feel better now that will all the compliments from the students. Nice job organizing that.

Sissi: Yeah, I figured he would appreciate a bunch of emails on how amazing a designer he is rather than a bunch of salty kids.

[Sissi orders tea from the vending machine with a smirk on her face. She notices the LW looking at her. LW are watching in background with knowing smiles on her faces. They wave. She waves back.

Sissi: [to the LW] Thanks for your help, everyone. We all did this together.
