One moment, Charlie was inside a car and the last thing she remembered doing was dozing off to sleep. Next thing she knew...she was falling...like falling straight down into the ground.

At first, Charlie didn't really realize what was happening to her, her eyes hadn't quite adjusted to her surroundings. It was only when she took notice of the ground getting closer and closer to her that she started panicking and trying to fly but found that her wings...weren't there.

As a result, Charlie screeched in terror as she fell closer and closer to the ground,"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!"

Charlie hissed as she landed on the ground, her body taking a lot more damage than anticipated. Charlie coughed and wheezed as she fell to the ground, her vision blurry from the sudden change in atmosphere.

"Ugh...what happened to me?" She asked herself, rubbing her head in agony. She then narrowed her eyes when she smelled...soot and ash? She recognized the smell of ash and burning anywhere it was covering her hands…

Wait...her hands...something was wrong with them…

Charlie gasped,'My hands...they're..different…' She clenched them to see if it was true as through the ash and soot, Charlie could see that her skin tone had changed and while still light, was nowhere near ivory and more fair and like porcelain in terms of color.

"W-What? What happened to me?" She asked, her voice horse and quiet. Charlie then looked at herself, noticing the clothes she was wearing were completely different.

Charlie wore a crimson suit with gold trim. The suit was equipped with built-in gold shoulder pads and she had black pants and boots on her feet. She felt the back of her head, feeling her hair had been tied in the back with a ponytail. Her little black nose had been replaced with a human one that was as small and precious as a button.

Charlie's appearance had drastically changed, now having an androgynous build with a masculine streak, the only feminine part of her was her faded pink blush stickers and eyelashes. Her sclera had turned white and had dark brown orbs within her eyes that boomed with life.

"Holy shit. I'm not a demon anymore…" She said,"I'm...human? I think…"

Yeah, Charlie wasn't all too sure if she was human despite being stripped of her demonic powers. She wasn't sure what she was at this point but she was assuming she was human until proven otherwise…

She then turned upon realizing that she was alone,"Wait...if this happened to me, then what happened to Vaggie?" She froze when she realized she hadn't seen Vaggie fall and quickly stood up,"Vaggie!? VAGGIE! WHERE ARE YOU!?"

Charlie rushed onto her feet and ran to locate her friend. Minutes passed and Charlie felt despair slowly eating her up inside, hoping nothing bad happened to her friend when they fell.

'Please be OK. Please be OK. Please be OK….' She chanted internally, rushing through the forest, pausing abruptly when she heard a groan in agony."Hm? What was that? Is someone there?"

She cautiously approached the scene, gasping when she saw a woman of Latina descent writhing in agony on the ground.

Her skin was a light brown shade with soot black hair that flowed to her knees, the ends resembling the orange found in molten wore a charcoal-orange chitin with fiery orange sandals. Her eyes were a fiery orange and black lipstick.

Charlie gently picked her friend up slightly, caressing her face,"Vaggie? Is that you? Are you still there?"

Vaggie's eyes slowly opened as she stared at Charlie in disbelief,"Hun? Is that really you?"

"Yeah...I know I don't look how I used to look but I assure you that it's still me, no matter how different my appearance is…"

Vaggie then gasped as she peered at her hand,"W-What happened to me, Charlie? Why am I so...so…"

"Different? Beats me, I think our appearance changed the moment we entered this world…"

"This world? What do you mean, Charlie?"

"I mean that...we're not in Hell anymore, Vaggie. Look at the skies...look around you. Wherever we are...definitely not anywhere we're familiar with…"

"Holy shit!" Vaggie cursed as she took a good look at her surroundings,"Where the fuck are we!?"

"In some type of forest, don't know where but I have the feeling that the world we're living in isn't our own. I don't know where the person put us but I don't think there's any going back given our current circumstances…"

"What should we do, Hun? This is a lot more than we bargained for and I don't trust this place…"

"I'm not sure honestly. Our best guess is to try and get accustomed to our surroundings since we're gonna be here for a while. Civilization should be close-by, we should head over there and see if there's anyone who knows what's going on."

"Sounds like a plan to me…" Vaggie said before struggling to get up,"F-Fuck...stupid leg…"

"Need a hand?" Charlie asked, offering her hand towards Vaggie's. The former moth demon nodded before accepting Charlie's hand and allowing her friend to lead the way, the two friends walking side by side through the forest as they ventured through the unknown.

Charlie and Vaggie continued to walk...and walk they did. They walked for quite a while until they reached what appeared to be a large kingdom with a castle and everything.

"Wow…" Charlie said,"Looks like we've found something new, huh, Vag?"

"Yeah...are you sure we should enter this place though, Charlie? This place doesn't look safe and I don't trust medieval time periods…"

"Neither do I, but considering it's the closest thing we're gonna get to civilization, the least we can do is see what we can find out…"

Vaggie grumbled as she followed Charlie inside the kingdom, skeptical of her friend's idea. She remained distrustful, sending harsh glares to anyone who happened to stare at them for too long, not liking the gazes she and Charlie attracted.

The Kingdom was rather vast and large, giving off a medieval vibe. As they were walking they heard whispers, some pointing to Vaggie and muttering the words 'elemental' and scampering away whenever Vaggie sent them a look.

"Hey Vaggie," Charlie whispered,"You notice everyone's scared of you?"

"Yeah, it's hard not to notice the glances of fear being made in my direction," The shorter woman replied,"All these fuckers keep calling me an 'elemental' or something. It's weird…"

"Maybe it's because of your hair… It does sort of look like magma and they make you think you're a creature of some kind..."

"I don't think it's just that…" Vaggie admitted, not appreciating the wandering eyes directed their way.

The Princess of Hell then noticed an old and withered flyer hanging on a wooden post. Curious, she decided to check it out only to gasp in surprise at what she saw,"Vag...you gotta take a look at this…"

"What is it, Hon? " Vaggie peered over Charlie's shoulder, her jaw falling to the floor when she saw them. It was a missing poster that looked as if it had been made well over a century ago given the way it appeared to be worn down.

"Charlie...is that what I think it is?"

"Yeah.." Charlie held the paper before saying,"Guess we're really not coming back home anytime soon if this paper is any indication. We're not even in the same dimension, let alone the same timeline as the one we were originally at. It's like we've been transported into an entirely different world with its own history."

Vaggie looked concerned,"Meaning that…"

"We're trapped here until further notice…"

Dread buried it's way to Vaggie's stomach as the realization sunk in. They were trapped in an entirely different timeline with no way back home to the world they knew.

"Oh fuck me..." Vaggie groaned,"We're so doomed..."

The last thing Vox had remembered was him and Velvet sitting boredly on the plane. Since they were stuck and had no way of getting down from their current position they had spent the hours discussing the possible outcomes and what would happen when or if they ever got on the ground.

Vox was much more pessimistic and was certain their plane was going to crash while Velvet was trying to remain optimistic about their flight in hopes they'd land and at least be able to continue their vacation as planned…

Eventually over time, Velvet had grown tired and eventually dozed off while Vox had remained awake for a few hours. His TV Demon form didn't require sleep like most other demons so Vox felt rather alone without Velvet there to talk to him.

Not like it was the first time, it always happened when he and Val slept together. After their night of passion, Val usually fell asleep immediately while Vox ended up laying on his side for the rest of the night, staring out at the window. He had forgotten what it was like to require sleep, let alone actually feel physically tired so whenever Val fell asleep before him, Vox was left to fester in his loneliness.

Usually Vox would've brushed this off but the longer he thought about Val, the more bitter and hurt he felt because that damn part of his near non-existent heart kept hanging on, refusing to stop loving that bastard no matter how many times Vox told himself he didn't need him. He still cared despite all these years and no matter how hard Vox tried to ignore this feeling, it wouldn't go away…

It didn't help Vox was still feeling a bit of emotional turmoil from leaving Vark back at the Tower, especially since he had no idea what this plane had in store for them. The stress it brought him was groundbreaking and Vox found the only way to take his mind off of the current situation was to follow in Velvet's footsteps and fall asleep…

So that's what Vox did...he shut himself down and hoped for the best, figuring that if anything bad happened that he and Velvet would deal with it in the morning…

Needless to say, Vox hadn't anticipated falling out of the fucking sky and screamed as he crashed into a haystack,"OOOOOWWWWWW!"

Vox barely had time to register his surroundings when a girlish screech from above began getting closer and closer before landing right on top of him, causing him to let out a growl in pain.

He hissed,'FUCK! That hurt like hell! What the fuck was that!?' He then looked down to see a girl who appeared to be in her late teens laying on his lap.

She had a chocolate skin and curly dark brown hair separated into pigtails with black and white eye-shadow. Her pigtails were held up with skull-bows and looked as if she had just left a morgue straight from the coffin.

She wore a predominately black dress with white dark grey trim, appearing to be wearing a dress from the Victorian area, the dress exposing her collarbone.

The girl then groaned,"Ugh...my head...what happened to me?" she quickly realized her position before jumping back, flinching away,"Hey! Who the hell are you? And what have you done with Vox!? Answer me before I force it outta you with my bare hands!" She growled, grabbing him by the collar and shaking him.

"Vel! It's me, Vox!" He shouted.

"That can't be right! You don't look anything like him! Don't think you can fool me, imposter! I know you're not Vox! You can't be him!"

"What are you even talking about? I am Vox? How do I look nothing like him?"

"OH I don't know, maybe because you have an actual face!" Velvet shouted, pointing at his cheek. Normally Vox wouldn't have paid any mind to this action, however when he felt Velvet's hand actually dig into his flesh he nearly had a heart attack…

He quickly pulled Velvet's hand away from him and grabbed his own cheek, gasping in shock when he felt his own flesh…

"M-My face..it's back to normal…" He whispered before peering down at his hands, his heart pounding when he saw that his black skin and neon blue claws had been replaced with normal human hands and pale white skin. His ears were pointed like an elf's and visibly long too…"But if my skin is back to normal does that mean that…"

He clutched the top of his head, his jaw falling slack when he felt blonde hair at the top of his head. Long platinum blonde hair that he hadn't felt in several decades, tied up in a singular braid that went down to his back. His eyes were a pale grayish blue, as cloudy as the storms skies.

"Holy shit…" He said,"I...I'm alive...I can't believe it, I'm actually alive…" He then peered down at his sleeves and his current attire, seeing that his clothes had been replaced just like Velvet's had.

He was currently wearing a mage outfit, having a midnight blue cloak with grey trim. He had black pants and high dark brown boots with a heel.

"Well...I'll be damned…." He said,"Never thought I'd feel alive ever again. My old features are back, I'm not a TV anymore..."

Vox's breath hitched, a smile growing on his face as he felt relieved before turning to Velvet and hugging her,"Vel! We're alive! Haha! I can't believe it! We're alive again!"

Velvet blanked before saying,"Wait...Vox? That's actually you?"

"Yeah! This is how I used to look before...you know…."

"Damn, if I knew you were that handsome under that TV screen I would've fought Val for ya!

Vox scoffed,"Nice try, Vel but no thanks. I've got a lot on my mind and I'm being honest here...you're a bit too young for me…"

"I'm like eighteen…"

"And I'm thirty…"

She pouted,"So? I'm still legal!"

"Vel, nothing against you but I really do prefer women who are...a bit older and more...developed.."

"Are you saying this because I'm flat-chested?"

"Well…"

"Oh come on! That's not fair!"

"Life isn't fair," He replied, brushing Velvet's whines off like flowing water.

Just then, a family of humanoid people approached them, appearing to be farmers. The middle aged male growled upon seeing them,"Lin! Those two brats ruined our haystack! We spent our hard earned money purchasing that stack and they messed it all up!"

"Well I'll be Joe," A middle aged woman said,"Looks like we've got a problem on our hands. What do you say we do with them, honey?"

"Do what we do to anyone who messes with our produce. We put them in the grave…" Joe said before pulling out a rifle with his wife,"Come on kids, let's show these vermin whose boss!"

Five more humanoids jumped out and wielded guns, one of them was female while the rest were male. Vox and Velvet immediately became on guard, quickly realizing that with their demonic powers stripped from them they had no way of fighting back against them.

Vox growled as he pushed Velvet out of the way from the incoming barrage of bullets, taking cover behind the wagon that was carrying the hay."Dammit! These crazy bastards are going to kill us!"

"What do we do?" Velvet whined, eyes wide with fear,"I don't wanna die again!"

"Neither do I, but without our demonic forms we're helpless against these fuckers…" Vox then narrowed his eyes before he looked directly at the skies. He doubted he had any of his old powers but he wanted to at least give it a shot before succumbing to their fates.

He lifted his palm up into the area and concentrated, praying to God that it would work as the gunshots got louder.

Just then, a powerful but singular bolt of lightning struck the carriage they were hiding behind, Vox and Velvet quickly jumping back to avoid getting caught in the fire that had started to consume the carriage.

The family of farmers screeched in terror, Joe shouting,"Lin, the blonde is an elemental!"

"Oh sweet Satan! Kids, run!"

"But Ma!"

"Sallie, its' for your own good! He's an elemental and you know what they do to people without supernatural powers! Run for it!"

Vox and Velvet eyes widened when the family ran away from them in pure terror, leaving their farm behind.

The former TV Demon panted for a moment as he fought to catch his breath before relief flooded his features. Vox then weakly said,"I...I think I scared them off…"

"Holy shit, guess you still have your powers. At least that's something, those guys would've shot us to death had you not scared them off like that.." Velvet said,"Though, do you have any idea what they were talking about you being an 'elemental' or whatever?"

"No idea, " He shrugged,"Not like I care, as long as I have some sort of power I can defend myself from these guys and that's all that matters. It's a bit more difficult than it was when I was a demon but it's still something…"

"So what now? It's just us and this farm now that those guys fled the scene..."

"Hell if I know," Vox admitted,"Though honestly...since I actually have a physical mouth now I do think I could go for a bite. What do you say we raid these guys of their food supply and catch a bite? Ain't like they'll be coming back for a while given how my bolt of lighting scared them shitless."

"Sounds fine to me. I was kind of hungry anyway…" Velvet said with a smile, patting Vox on the shoulder.

The two then headed into the farm to help themselves to the crops that had been stored in the pantry.

The only thing Seviathan could recall while he and Helsa were on the bus ride was the silence. He and Helsa hadn't said a word once the ride started and barely even acknowledged each other's existence, feeling more like strangers despite being twins that had the same blood in their veins…

In the end, Seviathan figured that they'd eventually wake up and get off the bus ideally and move somewhere, start a new life in the Envy Sector and separate themselves from their parents to show them what for….

When Seviathan 's eyes opened again, his eyes slowly adjusted to his surroundings before gasping upon realizing that he was no longer in the bus but underwater.

At first, he wondered if the bus had crashed or fallen off a bridge into a lake but when he looked around, there was no sign of the bus whatsoever…

'What? Where'd it go?' He thought, his eyes narrowing in disbelief, wondering how a bus could just vanish within thin air. He examined his surroundings and realized he was down beneath the sea,"Holy shit...am I in the ocean?"

Not like he was worried, the Eldritch family were technically underwater creatures but he was concerned where Helsa had gone off too since he couldn't see her anywhere nearby.

Just then, he felt..odd. Like something wasn't right and that a change had taken place without him noticing. He quickly looked down and nearly had a heart attack when he realized his legs had been replaced with a long and elegant tail that resembled that of a mermaid.

He then peered down at his hands, shocked that his skin had changed color.

His once light green skin had shifted into a more tan color. His hair had become a sea green color and his teeth had become white and pointier, appearing almost like canines. His tail was a teal color and he had teal spots on his body. His eyes had no trace of red in them, instead being a jade color.

"Oh sweet Satan…" He muttered,"I'm a fucking siren aren't I? That must mean...Helsa's one too..But where is she? She can't be that far, right? She's got to be around here somewhere…"

He then began to call out to her, swimming around the area and becoming frustrated when Helsa didn't show herself,"HELSA! HELSA! ARE YOU THERE!? SAY SOMETHING DAMMIT! COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE! THIS ISN'T FUNNY!"

Once again, the ocean was quiet. Seviathan grit his teeth,"For fuck's sake...is she really going to play this game with me? Fine, I'll find her the old fashioned way since she won't reveal herself…"

Seviathan then began to use his sense of smell to locate Helsa with his nose. His sense of smell was rather sharp so when he got ahold of her scent, he followed it.

He then saw a mermaid with icy white hair and dark brown skin in the distance singing to herself on a rock. Her tail was an icy blue and she didn't appear to be wearing any type of bra, her hair serving to cover her private bits with icy blue spots on her body and even a going at least half way up her arm. She had tiny tiny ice blue spots on her face with light blue eyes and a sclera. Her tail was much more softer and elegant compared to his, looking almost as if it was made of ice. Her eye shadow was an icy blue shade and her tail and soft fin like designs them.

'That...that can't be Helsa's voice. It's way too good to be her…' He thought with jealousy,'Yup, it's official, the Ocean is messing with my hearing. Yeah, that's the reason. She can't be a good singer, though why isn't she singing words?'

When he touched her on the shoulder, Helsa whipped around and stared at him before screaming and trying to attack him, going as far as to try and strangle him with her bare hands. Seviathan choked as it felt like her hands had become tipped with pure ice, as if she was trying to freeze him to death and strangle him at the same time.

Acting on instinct, Seviathan fought to free himself, not fully accustomed to his mermaid form and tried to release himself to no avail. In a last ditch effort to get his enraged sister off of him, he concentrated on only himself but her, using one of his arms and twisting his wrists.

Helsa then screeched in agony as her wrist began to move, as if the blood had been forcibly moved and twisted. Seviathan took this opportunity to separate Helsa from him and backed away before shouting,"What the fuck is your problem, Helsa!? Why'd you attack me? And what was with your fucking hands? They felt like goddamn ice!"

At first, the siren didn't respond before her body language shifted from hostile to non hostile, her eyes wide in realization but not saying anything.

"Well?" He asked impatiently,"What's your excuse, Helsa? Why'd you attack me? Did you not realize it was me? Because if so, the least you could do is apologize dammit."

Once again, Helsa didn't respond.

He raised an eyebrow,"Uh...did you not hear me? You should be apologizing for attacking me like that. Why aren't you saying anything? Does the cat have your tongue?" He teased,"Come on now, swallow that pride of yours and say sorry. It's the least you can do"

Just like last time, Helsa didn't speak.

Frustrated, Seviathan then shouted,"Helsa! Quit standing there like a log and apologize! I want to HEAR you say it dammit!" He got in her face, glaring at his younger twin with deadly eyes,"I'm waiting for Helsa, where's my apology?"

Helsa opened her mouth to speak...but nothing came out. Seviathan blanked,"Are...are you trying to play a trick on me? It's not going to work, say something!"

She tried to speak again...but no noise came out. Seviathan's expression changed from anger to confusion, trying to understand why his sister couldn't speak before it suddenly hit him.

"Helsa...are you mute?"

The younger twin nodded her head slowly, Seviathan's eyes widened in horror upon realizing that his sister had become mute.

"What!? How is that possible? How can you be mute?" His mind raced for an explanation before remembering the last thing he said to Helsa prior to them landing in this Ocean.

"I swear to Satan your voice can be so irritating with the amount of complaining you do. Wish I didn't have to hear your voice ever again…"

Seviathan's face changed at this memory,'You've got to be fucking kidding me...'
