You can now upgrade your Jail for Lost Kids!

his made Mal very happy. The kids were starting to complain about how cramped the cage was. She was starting to get annoyed and so was Jay. She worked on her screen. She didn't care that she was in the middle of Bazaar because he mother had already bragged to the whole Isle that she had magic.

Mal had always thought that she ruled this Isle and now she was proven right. Because she knew that the one with the most power ruled. She had magic that made her the most powerful on the Isle therefore she ruled the Isle. She was a Queen. She was sure of it

Jail for Lost Kids-1

"There now stop complaining!" Mal snapped.

"I don't know what you did but it didn't get any bigger in here!" Anthony Tremain informed her. Then grunted as Jay hit him on the head with the hilt of his sword. "What it didn't!"

"Huh." Mal said tapping her chin in thought. "Well, I just upgraded the Jail for Lost Kids to level 1. Maybe I gotta get it higher before it gets bigger."

"How does it level up?" Jay asked his arms behind his head. Mal had told him all about her power as she knew it.

"From use." Mal informed him.

"That means we've got to catch a lot of Lost Kids and carry them around for a long time for it to level up?" Jay asked.

"Exactly." Mal said with a nod.

Jay nodded back.

"Oh, hey didn't you say that you had a quest to find a book?" Jay finally said. He reached in his backpack. "I found this." He handed her a book as they got back to Bargain Castle. "I can't read it yet."

Mal smirked. She wondered if there was a way to get Jay in on her power as well. He was her minion after all. She was also curious if he could use magic. His father had used magic after all so why couldn't he? They continued their walk and stealing. Life on the Isle was boring. She needed an adventure.

Auradon

Ben blinked at the tv.

"She finally got the library. I hope she uses it." He said, "Why arent' they in school? I'm five and I have to go to school so why don't they go to school?"

Everyone looked at Ben. Even as he said that he wasn't at school when he was supposed to be. He refused to go because that meant that he wouldn't be able to watch Mal every day and he hated that. Ben still did his lessons though. He was advancing very well seeing as he sat here all day doing them and watching Mal have fun on the Isle.

"They don't have good food over there." Ben said. "That's a mushy yucky apple and they are eating it."

Several of the adults agreed. They knew that they shipped their trash off somewhere was it really going to the Isle. Were they only eating trash over there? From the looks of the last few weeks, the answer was yes. It had only been four years since they'd been there how had it gotten so bad so quickly?

Mal and Jay were laughing as they ran into a building that looked abandoned. The goblins and cage followed.

"You've come." A raspy voice said.

They stopped in the room they'd just run into to see an old, hunched over woman, with a large nose that had boils on it. "I've been waiting for you."

"You have?" Mal asked sipping her coffee. "Why?"

"I am your teacher for the year." the woman rasped.

"No thank you." Mal said shaking her head. "I learn enough from Mother."

"Think of this as a place where you can bring your lost five-year-olds from now on." the woman explained. "Monday thru Friday they come here to learn and they can't go outside for hours and hours."

"We still learn enough from mother." Mal said.

She and Jay got all the five-year-olds out of the cage. This included Uma, Evie, Harry, Gil, and Anthony.

"Keep this one too." Mal said tossing Carlos on the floor. "He's really smart. What do I call this place?"

"School, my Queen." the lady rasped.

"Okay, have a horrible time in school, everyone. I'll tell your parents where you are."

With that Mal and Jay left with the Goblins and cage. Both were sipping their coffee.

"Is there a school for bigger kids?" Mal wondered. "Let's go ask mother."

Maleficent was shocked to hear that someone was teaching the five-year-olds, and Carlos, in a school. They normally just let the children run wild. The room she was in was packed because of the Villains Meeting that was held once a month. They all demanded to know where this school was being held then went to get their five-year-olds.

Mal and Jay shared smirks that every five-year-old, and Carlos, but them had to attend this school. They were not pleased when they were put in the room as well. Both threw a fit to get out. Mal made her demands known and her magic got away from her as she made the door explode.

Maleficent cooed over her Mal as she carried her home while pulling Jay behind her. Jay had a rope tied around his waist and was being tugged along. He didn't mind it though. He'd been freed from school and he was stealing on his way to the Castle. He was sure that Mal was going to need a nap after that display of magic. So he'd practice his reading.
