Chapter 4 -Doom Arrives-

Across the Earth a giant crack appeared in the sky. Danny could only look at the giant hole that had appeared as ectoplasm was oozing from the sky. It came from nowhere and not even the Old man could figure out what's going on. Danny, Dash, Valerie and the Old Man had gathered in his underground lab. Where Danny would spend most of his time training and just from the look on the Old Man's face he wasn't happy. "None of this ads up," the old man said. Tapping his finger against his chin, "We know that this is caused by a wand-waver. Blonda, who is your cousin's aunt, and his adopted mother's twin sister. We know she's intending to conquer the Earth and the giant hole in the sky isn't normal. Other than else I have no clue what to do other than us avoiding her winged soldiers. I've seen wand-wavers go mad before, but not like this. And yet Melody has not made an appearance. Any ideas?"

"What about finding Fenton's cousin? He'd be a good start," Dash suggested. As he was sitting at the giant monitor which looked similar to what you'd see in a Superhero comic book. Which had been monitoring the entire city of Amity Park where the giant hole in the sky was worsening. One thing was for sure it wasn't Danielle's doing it as she was much more confrontational.

"No," The Old man said. "Fenton is allergic to magic, in fact the only reason he hasn't been killed yet. Due to his human side it's the only reason we haven't had an explosion. Magic and ectoplasm cancel each other out upon contact like matter and antimatter coming into contact with one another. Each interaction is violent; on top of that Timmy is a toddler. Wand-waver toddlers magic is pure unadulterated magic as they age that pure magic is depleted for more controllable fairy magic. And when provoked bad things are going to happen if they are not careful. That's why Blonda messing with things is dangerous. Even more so than Danielle with all the power she possesses. There's a reason fairies and ghosts live in separate realms. I'd say we should explore what's happening, but it will bring either. The winged angels or whatever's inside that thing out."

"So what do we do?" Valerie asked.

"We wait," The Old Man said. "Unless you guys have a useful idea I don't see any other option. I've already sent out several probes and they've either been destroyed or lose signal upon contact. And I don't dare spare Daniel out there. We have no way of knowing what could happen." He stroked his chin carefully thinking over everything that had occurred in his life. "This isn't Danielle either as she would be much more direct and out of everything I've experienced…I am completely unfamiliar how to deal with this. So we're on our own."

"How about a Teso Missile?" Danny asked. "I'm sure we have one or two of them lying around. We just take one and shoot it into the hole, not like we have many other cases. And it can only hurt ectoplasmic beings."

"I have a couple, but we need to save them. They're hard to make and time consuming to do so. And it would take months to get all the resources I need to build more. But…that does give me an idea." With that the old man clicked a button on the computer's console which moved one of the panels on the ground. We know that we have both ectoplasma and magic. Which when they collide will result in explosive damage. And though you know nothing about magic I have some saved for emergency situations." The Old Man said with a firm as his mind was pondering. "I can't believe I forgot about this, but its a risky move."

"Magic?" Valerie asked.

"Fairies leave a residue of dust wherever they 've seen this before that magic in a polluted form. It's not something that fairies can control though as they age from being a toddler to adulthood. Which is a process that takes place over a quarter of a million years. From birth to adulthood; fairy children produce a lot of this dust and most of it gets cleaned up or blown away. Before the time dilation a man by the name of Denzel Crocker who was obsessed with fairies in the other timeline. He built a device to filter fairy dust into reusable magic. Unfortunately it's slow and inefficient. And no it's not useful for fighting against Danillelle. She's a hafla like Danny most it would do is cause a rash, and a headache. But we do have enough to set off the giant hole in the sky that should cause whatever terror Blonda has planning to become active or seal it." He said with uncertainty. With that he picked up the giant glass vile inside was a rainbow liquid that sparkled lightly. "I would like to gather enough to make a wish, but this is far from what I require. Its for a side project that would simply take to long without the mastermind Crocker there's no way to make it work."

"UHh is that giant worm hole supposed to be spinning backwards?" Dash asked, "Based on its speed its at least going faster than the sound barrier."

"That's not good," he commented and though about it. "It would take me an hour to get the rocket ready even with your help. And I'm not sending Danny out too risky and too many unaccountable variables."

"Well crap," Valerie said. "Danny?"

"I don't know," Danny said. "All I know is that whatever Blonda is planning, it's going to be bad. Real bad."

"Worse actually," both of them turned their heads to see Box Lunch appear. The apprentice Box Lunch the young apprentice to Clockworks and the future daughter of the Box Ghost and Lunch Lady. How two pure ghosts are able to conceive a child was a mystery none of them knew or wanted to know. She was also the only link they had to Clock Works who had isolated himself for some unknown reason. It was her who had restored Danny, Valerie and Dash memories of the other timeline before the time dilation. Which was more than certainly caused by Danny's cousin. Wherever he was in the galaxy. "And that is exactly why I've come to see you four. I need your help. Blonda is creating a time anonymity."

"She's what?" The old man asked.

"Insanity. These wand-wavers are unhinged," Box Lunch said. Looking around the room. "Look, I can't explain things right now, but I have no choice." WIth that Box Lunch snapped her fingers and a bright light in the lab appeared. And with that they were zapped into a new world. When the light finally died down Danny looked around to see where they were. In a giant green grass field in all directions, a cold chill seemed to flow across the field. The sky wasn't blue, but rather it had the green hue that was ever persistent in the Ghost Zone. They all looked around confused as Danny ghost senses were triggered. It was even more colder than were dozens of ghost all around that he coudn't quite see. They were being watched. "Good luck your cousin won't be too far away. You must stop Blonda at all cost."

"Blonda?" Danny asked.

Box Lunch disappeared and the old man looked around as Box Lunch disappeared. "Where are we?"

"I don't know yet there a though, but…let's get going." With that they chose a random direction and started a slow walk towards their destination.
