(Chapter 9: My Hidden Birthday)
The beginning of October was now at hand, as Naruto who was still riding the wave of joy from completing his 1st mission as part of ROOT, was now looking forward to his 17th birthday; which he was all too excited for considering that he got to spend it with his loved ones. Thusly the only thing he had to work out beyond where they were going to celebrate it at, given how he was going to make sure he didn't have to spend it with his parents or his siblings…something that made his birthday both a thing to dread and to be happy about.
(October 2nd, 996 S.E, Uchiha Compound 1:45 Pm)
It was the middle of the day as Naruto was with Obito in telling him of his plan to have both Tsunade and Dan, tell his parents that he was going to have a party at their house, when in reality he was going to be hosting everything at his place.
"Are you sure this is a good idea, Naruto? I mean no offense or anything, but this sounds like its just a disaster waiting to happen." Obito asked
"Hey with how airtight I'm keeping everyone that is allowed to come. Then I shouldn't have a problem. All I need to do is make sure that Itachi won't hear of this and snitch about it to my folks. The same goes for Kakashi doing the same as well." Naruto replied feeling confident that with how hush-hush it all was, that it wouldn't get back to his folks
"By the way, you didn't mention any of this to either 'em, did you?…The last thing I need is for mom and dad to find out about my place, and make a scene out of it." Naruto added
"You know I wouldn't do that to you. I'm not a gnark like Itachi, or a kissass like Kakashi." Obito replied almost insulted by the insinuation he'd do such a thing
"Great to know. By the way, are you bringing Juri?' Naruto questioned
"Actually, you can ask her yourself. Hey Juri, Naruto wants to talk to you about something!" Obito called over to his girlfriend
With the 5 foot 5 tall menace that was Obito's girlfriend dashing over and leaping into the air, before landing beside her boyfriend via a triple backflip in midair; with her ever-present smile that oozed "I can beat your ass with 22% of my power and an arm tied behind my back" type of energy on her face. (By the way I'm using Juri Han's Street Fighter 6 appearance for what she looks like)
"Hey, kiddo. How's my favorite little shit doing!?" Juri questioned with her constant jubilant yet terrifying smile clear across her face
"I'm doing pretty good, actually. How about yourself..and why are the blood stains on your pants?" Naruto replied as he looked down to see blood spatters on Juri's jeans
"Oh I just got done making Kurenai get intimate with the pavement...Really made my day kicking that red-eyed skanks' face in." Juri said back with savage glee
"...Why were you fighting Kurenai?" Obito asked
"She was talking a lot of shit about how she's so good at genjutsu, I disagreed, and your name came up…Then the next thing I know, we're going at it and I'm roundhouse kicking her face in. Just so you know she had it coming." Juri told her boyfriend
"Should I want to know what she said about me?" Obito asked
"It's better it you don't. If I told you, then you would've joined me and kicked her ass too." Juri answered back
"...You know what, I'm gonna leave it alone, and not pry any further. Because with how angry I get, I probably would've stomped her ass out till next Sunday…Yeah, its probably better if I don't know." Obito replied knowing full well with how his temper was he would've given the genjutsu mistress a what for
'Man I should really go to anger management. Especially, with how much those twin idiots piss me off.' Obito noted to himself
"Anyways, what did you want to talk to me about, kiddo?" Juri asked the Ultimatrix wielder
"Oh. I was wondering if you wanted to come to my birthday party next week?" Naruto requested of the hyperviolent Taijutsu mistress
"Sure why not, I don't have much else to do. Plus your a great kid, so fuck it." Juri replied
"Awesome! The party starts at half past 5, and no one has to bring presents by the way. I'm just happy to have everyone there." Naruto told the spider-themed Taekwondo master
"I'll be there on the dot…By the way, Jiraiya ain't gonna be there? I still owe him a kick in the taint from spying on me for his 'research'...fucking asshole" Juri questioned wanting to pay the Toad Sannin a beating
"He did what?!" Obito asked with a vein popping up on his right temple
"Yeah, I caught him peeping on me when I was getting ready for our date night last Friday. I would've had his ass, if he didn't summon one of those toads."Juri told the scarred Uchiha
"Its official, I'm gonna have to kick Lord Jiraiya's ass after your birthday…Hopefully, Shisui won't mind if I call in a solid." Obito said as the vein on his temple throbbed in anger
"Does that man have any shame? First its you, then Granny, and then Masako…I swear, how it is that he hasn't been obliterated, or even arrested at this point, is beyond me." Naruto chimed in, in not seeing how it was that Jiraiya hadn't been arrested for being such an overt peeping tom
"Probably, because Minato-sensei covers for him every time. But that isn't gonna stop me from shoving my foot forever 10 inches down his throat!" Obito declared tired of Jiraiya's lechery when it came to his longtime girlfriend
"If you're gonna beat the shit out of him, I want in on it too. I'm getting sick of him always sneaking peaks at me." Juri added in wanting a shot at him too
Oh don't worry, when I get ahold of him, we're both gonna make him know the meaning of an empty bag." Obito swore
'Well, Pervy-Sage is definitely gonna get his ass beat…Honestly, I do not feel bad for the guy at all.' Naruto said to himself in regards to the Toad Sannin
"So other than beating the shit out of Pervy-Sage. Do you guys got anything else planned for today?" Naruto asked the couple
"Other than going out tonight, for our date night. Their isn't much we have planned." Obito answered back
"That's great, and I hope you guys have a good time…Meanwhile, I have one last person to ask to come to my birthday party." Naruto said with a nervous gulp in-between his words
"Who are you going to ask that has you so nervous?" Obito asked, not needing a Sharingan to see the emotions swimming in his sensei's son's face
"It's…It's Ino Yamanaka." Naruto nearly choked out
"Huh, I never would've pictured you would ask her of all people. I didn't think you had a type." Obito said surprised he would go after Inoichi's daughter
"Hey! I resent that, I do have a type...it just happens to be her." Naruto said back with the brief reddening of his cheeks
"Anyways, Uncle Obito. Out of everyone in my class, she's the only girl that I really vibe with ya know. She's fun to be around, actually has a good head on her shoulders, stacked like a brick house, powerful, and strong-willed…Can't see a reason why I wouldn't want to invite her." Naruto said briefly going off into space as he listed off things about her
"Sounds like soommmebody has a crush." Juri said her smile widening into a teasing grin
"I'm not crushing on Ino, I just think she's awesome is all." Naruto immediately replied feeling a minor heat in his cheeks
"Hey whatever you wanna tell yourself. At least I'm not in denial." Juri replied with a roll of her eyes
"B-Bottom line. I think she's really great, and I want to invite her to my birthday party…Any tips on how not to fuck that up, Uncle Obito?" Naruto said as he looked towards the scarred jonin
"Just be yourself, and ask her like a regular person." Was the Uchiha's only response
"Alright…thanks, your the best." Naruto said back
"Its not a problem, and good luck, Naruto." Obito said to the Ultimatrix wielder
"Well, I'm gonna go and clean up for next week. I'll see you guys later." Naruto replied before giving a brief hug and running off towards his house
"So what do you wanna do now?" Juri asked
"I got us tickets to that new kung fu movie you've been wanting to see. We can go see that." Obito offered as he used his Kamui to apparate a pair of tickets into existence
"Holy shit!…I thought these were all sold out." Said a starry-eyed Juri-Han
"Well, lucky for your super-awesome boyfriend, I have some people at the theatre who owe me a solid. So I did just that and…" Obito said before Juri gave him a big kiss on the lips
"We can talk later, right now I wanna go see that movie, and then your gonna blow my back out after!" Juri said back in excitement of getting to the movie she long since been waiting for
"I can get us there in under a minute with my Kamui." Obito told her as he straightened his headband
"Then what're we waiting for, let's fucking go!" Juri exclaimed
"You don't need to say anything more." Obito said as he teleported both himself and Juri to the movies
'Man my life is awesome.' Obito thought to himself as the two teleported away
(3 days later, October 5th, 996 S.E, The Academy, 3:25 Pm)
It was the following Wednesday as the final class for the day had just let out, with Ino on her way home until Naruto had run up to her to finally ask her to come to his 17th birthmas.
"Hey, Ino…wait up!" Naruto called out to the Yamanaka heiress
"Oh hi Naruto, did you need something?" Ino asked as her fellow blonde finished rushing up to her like a blonde grizzly bear
"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to come to my birthday party next week?" Naruto asked
"Aren't you going to have it with Naoya and Hayase? I thought the 3 of you were celebrating it together?" Ino asked back
"Oh hell no. I got my own place a while back, and I'm gonna be throwing it there." Naruto told a surprised Ino
'Plus I'd rather drink cat-piss and sulfur than spend another birthday with those two.' Naruto said sourly to himslef
"Wait a sec…You have your own place already?!"Ino said to a now beaming Ultimatrix wielder
"Yep! I've got my own place, and it looks super dope. Also, do not tell anyone about this…I don't want it to get back to the twin idiots, and they make a whole big thing out of it." Naruto replied
"Do your parents know you moved out?" Ino said in confusion
"Nope, and I'd like for it to stay that way. I rather like my freedom, and them breathing down my neck about it; doesn't help me…So can you keep quiet about this for me?" Naruto said back
"Sure. If you really don't want anyone to know about this, then your secret is safe with me." Ino told him, getting a sigh of relief from her fellow blonde
"Plus, I think it's pretty cool that you have your own place to yourself…Maybe I can come over sometime, after your birthday? I'd like to help make your housewarming more…official." Ino said her smile curving impishly
"T-That sounds great, Ino." Naruto nearly stammered out, quickly catching onto the lustful implications
"Wonderful! So what time is your birthday party going to be?" Ino asked
"It's gonna be at 5:30, and also you don't gotta wear or bring anything fancy. Just come as you are, and bring good vibes with you. Since I just wanna have a good time with everybody, and that's about it." Naruto answered back
"Are you sure you don't want anything? It isn't gonna be that big of a deal to get you a birthday present." Ino asked him
"Trust me, I'm plenty sure. I just want everyone I think are pretty cool people to come and have a time. Other than that, just have a good time and try not too big of a mess…I really don't want to have to spend the rest of night on clean-up duty. Especially on my own birthday." Naruto replied
'I mean I could turn into Dash-Raptor and get everything cleaned up in no time flat…Still, doesn't mean I want to be cleaning up on my own birthday.' Naruto said to himself
"Whatever you want, Naruto. But do you mind if I bring Sakura with me?" Ino asked
"Sure…Any reason why you want her as your plus one?" Naruto questioned as to why Sakura of all people
"She's one of my best friends, and she's been going through some things for a bit. I just figured it wouldn't hurt to take her out, and cheer her up." Ino answered back
Since Ino figured that with everything going between Sakura's trying to launch her burgeoning musical career into the mainstream, and her decisions on whether or not she should drop out of the shinobi program after winter break; that her friend could use something to lift her spirits up…It just so happened that Naruto's upcoming birthday party was the perfect way to do so, to the Yamanaka heriess.
"Hey, as long as she's not gonna be total cunt at my birthday. Then she's more than welcome to come over…Also, I am so sorry for what Hayase puts her through. That shit ain't fucking funny." Naruto said in having felt sympathy for his pink-haired classmate being the subject of his sisters' shenanigans
"Believe me, I'm not a fan of her either…Unfortunately, she's the daughter of the 4th Hokage. So it isn't like there's much we can do back to her." Ino replied hating how Hayase was essentially untouchable
"If I can get my way about it once we graduate then, I'm gonna be able to even the playing field." Naruto said back with a mischievous grin of his own
"Really, and what do you have that can take the piss out of her?" Ino asked curiously
"That's my own little secret, Ino. But I can tell you this much. When I do get the ball rolling, she won't have a clue what hit her." Naruto replied with a mischievous grin of his own
"Whatever you get her with, I wanna see some of it for myself…Its about time someone made her know what its like to be on the receiving end." Ino said
"Oh yeah that's right, she about ruined your hair last April...Sorry you had to go around with bright green hair for half of the summer." Naruto spoke remembering how 6 months ago, Hayase had pranked Ino via mesing up her hair and dying it and her eyebrows lime green
"Hey, you don't have to apologize to me or anything. Besides, I owe you and Sakura for helping me to get that stuff out of my hair." Ino thanked the Ultimatrix wielder
"Not a problem; us blondes gotta stick together, after all." Naruto said
"But that did take 3 months to get my hair back to normal. Not to mention I had to regrow my eyebrows afterward…So when I say go all out, I mean go fucking nuts...That bitch can't get away with messing with my hair like that." Ino replied still furious over said incident
"Oh don't worry, I'll get her back really good for you. Blondes' honor and all that." Naruto swore to his fellow blonde; who got a chuckle out of the faux seriousness of it
"Good…Anyways, I'll catch you later, I gotta go so I won't be late to help out at the flower shop." Ino said to Naruto
"Alright, and also here's the address for my new place." Naruto said as he handed Ino a piece of notebook paper with the location on it
"Thanks, Naruto. I'll see you later." Ino replied before running off
'Well, that went better than what I thought it would.' Naruto remarked to himself before heading home
(5 days later, Naruto's House, October 10th, 996 S.E, 7:34 Pm)
It was the night of Naruto's birthday as everything was currently in full swing, with the Ultimatrix wielder having the time of his life with those he had invited and while it wasn't as grandiose as being stuck at his twin siblings birthday party; it was something he was all too happy to be at.
"Thanks for having us over, Naruto. It means a lot." Ino said to Naruto who was watching Juri do jello shots with Tsunade
"Hey, its no problem. I'm just glad you're having a good time." Naruto replied happy to see that everyone in attendance was enjoying themselves
"By the way, there's still food for you guys if you want to eat something. We got games outside if you wanna do anything…By the way good luck at beating Uncle Obito at darts, I don't know if its the Sharingan, or he's just that good, but the man is a menace at that game." Naruto added
"Is he really that good?" Ino asked while Sakura was drinking some lemonade
"I'm not a gambling man, but the odds of anyone beating him at darts is 360 to 1…So good luck trying to beat him." Naruto told the two as Obito landed another bullseye with his eyes closed
"I'll take those odds." Sakura piped up
"Really?" You sure you wanna do that Sakura? Because he ain't no joke." Naruto asked
"I think I good enough shot, and if I lose. Then at least I can say I gave it a shot." Sakura answered back
"Hey, I am not gonna argue if your feeling that bold, by all means go for it." Naruto said gesturing outside
"Do you really think she has a chance by the way?" Naruto asked his fellow blonde in Ino
"...To be honest, I think she has a decent chance at winning." Ino replied
"Plus if I don't believe she can do it, then who will?" Ino said
"You know what, that's a pretty great point." Naruto responded back
"Thank you, now if you don't mind I'm gonna go see if Sakura can beat this Obito guy." Ino said as she went outside into the chilly October evening
"Hey Naruto! We're doing arm-wrestling, let's see if my little cousin can hack against yours truly!" Masako called over to the Ultimatrix wielder
'Ehhh, fuck it why not." Naruto said to himself as he went into the living room
"Are you sure you want to do this, Naruto? No offense to you or anything, but this is Masako we're talking about…She will obliterate you." Shizune asked knowing full well of his cousin's absolutely monstrous strength
"Relax, Auntie. I've got this handled…I think." Naruto answered back
"If you say so." Shizune said
"I'll go get the ice, and band-aids." Ami replied knowing how well this would go
"Good idea." Shizune replied
"So are you ready to eat dirt?" Masako said with a broad grin on her face
"Fuck it let's do this…Hey, who knows, maybe I'll actually beat you." Naruto said back with a confident grin on his face
"That's the spirit, Naruto. Keep that up before I send you flying!" Masako spoke while Shizune began the 4-count
"Oh come on, it won't be that bad." Naruto replied as Shizune told them to begin
That being said , Naruto did manage a few brief moments in which he was able to stalemate the daughter of Tsunade; albeit having to use every ounce of physical strength to do so, and as he felt himself beginning to make headway against his cousin…The brief moment of headway and victory against her was brought to an abrupt close, as with a casual downward swing of her arm; Naruto was sent tumbling headfirst into the ground in a semi-crumpled heap across the full-length of the living room.
Luckily besides a few bruises and scrapes alongside his ego, Naruto was able to make a quick recovery thanks to Ami and Shizune's help, yet the moment Naruto was up and able again he went back to enjoying the party and being in the company of those around him.
"Hey, Sasuke. How're things going with Uncle Obito and Sakura?" Naruto asked the young Uchiha
"I will have to give Sakura credit, she definitely is determined to beat him." Sasuke answered back as the pink-haired musician was once again bested by the elder Uchiha
"How many rounds has she tried to beat him in?" Naruto questioned as he took a bite out of his plate of ribs
"At this point, this makes round number seven." Sasuke answered back
"...You have to admit, she may not cut it as a future shinobi. But even I have to respect that amount of stubbornness she has." Sasuke added before munching on one of his dumplings
"Well, shit. I honestly expected her to give up after round 2 or 3 of trying to beat Uncle Obito…Who knew she had in her." Naruto replied in having to give credit where it was due in regards to Sakura
"Indeed. By the way, Naruto. How're the hoverboards coming along?" Sasuke asked
"Oh, I got those done on Sunday. I just forgot to give 'em to you yesterday. I got a little carried away with using the factories Lord Danzo set up; to amp up my Scrap Guards." Naruto told him
"And how are those going? The last thing I remember about them, is that they were still a work in progress." Sasuke further asked while Sakura went to go for an 8th round against Obito
"Well, they've now gone from works in progress. To your main man now having his very own automated house guards!" Naruto answered back in excitement of his Scrap Guards finally being completed
"That is great news to hear, congratulations." Sasuke said to the Ultimatrix wielder
"Thank you, Sasuke. I finally have something to make sure I won't get caught with my pants down…Just think Sasuke, this is only Mark 1 of what I've got planned." Naruto told the Uchiha who had a look between curiosity and surprise
"What do you mean by Mark 1?" Sasuke questioned
"Dude…I'm not just gonna stop at just making my Scrap Guards as is…Oh hell no. I plan on giving them some updates, and other fun stuff down the line. All I need to do is see how well they fair against actual threats, before I can think about making a Mark 2 and further beyond." Naruto answered back with a broad grin whilst continuing to devour his plate of ribs
"Always, thinking ahead…Then again…I can't really blame you, with what we've gotten ourselves into." Sasuke replied as they saw that Obito had once again defeated Sakura…but this time did so blindfolded
"Speaking of people who've gotten themselves into stuff, it looks like Sakura got herself into another loss." Naruto remarked as Obito had taken off the blindfold to go talk to a down Sakura
"Hey, cheer up kid. You did pretty decent…its just that you got in over your head is all." Obito said patting Sakura on the shoulder
"Thank you, Mr. Obito. To be honest, I am just glad that I was invited here." Sakura replied
"Hey, if it means anything your always welcome to swing by and talk to me…I may be busy a good chunk of the time with jonin stuff, but otherwise, I'm always a knock on the door away." Obito told the pink-haired musician with a smile on his scarred face
"I really do appreciate it…Oh, that reminds me!...Would you mind telling some people about a show I have coming up at the end of month. Any support would be great." Sakura said as she took out a folded up flyer for her and her band
"Sure, why not." Obito said back as he took and pocketed it for later
"Thank you, and I promise that the show will be one you won't want to miss." Sakura told Obito with a confidence that surprised Ino
"I'll definitely take your word for it." Obito said before he departed to check in on Juri
"Well, look at you, Sakura. Someone's coming out of their shell." Ino said clapping her friend on the back
"When I don't have to worry about Hayase or her goons bothering me, then I can finally be myself." Sakura said back relieved to not be in Hayase's crosshairs
"I'm glad to see you not be down in the dumps all the time." Ino spoke happy to see an actual smile on Sakura's face for once
"I feel the same way…but we can talk about how I'm feeling later. Right now, I want to enjoy the rest of the party." Sakura said to the Yamanaka
From there the party continued on in full swing from Naruto sharing in the good cheer of his birthday with Sasuke, Ami and Obito; to Tsunade and Masako engaging in drunken shenanigans with Juri who turned out to be a combination of happy and violent drunk. All the while Dan was chatting it up with Shisui on the state of things while the two were playing a friendly game of blackjack, and Ino and Sakura were happy to both eat some of the good food provided, and chop it up with their classmates while Sakura was making sure to spread word of her concert to anyone she could.
The good cheer of Naruto's birthday continued for quite a while and well into the night, as the sound of laughter and good cheer echoed throughout Naruto's household before Obito had gone inside to grab Naruto's birthday cake, and have everyone gather around as Naruto sat down to make his wish before he blew out the candles. With Naruto much to the majority of everyone's disappointment and him wanting to be a stinker about it, decided to keep to himself about what he wished for on his birthday, but nonetheless was happy to have everyone in attendance as he and Sasuke got to passing out the cake to everyone there.
…Eventually, as the night grew later and later did those in attendance have to call it quits; considering that it was still a school night for the younger of the participants in question; on top of some of them still having to go on missions or attend to clan/work duties, and as such eventually filed out of Naruto's house…all with the exception of a still curious Ino.
"Oh come on, Naruto. Your still not gonna say what you wished for?" Ino asked
"Are you sure you wanna know, Ino? I'm telling you right now; that it isn't anything special." Naruto answered back
"I don't care, I want to know what it is. So spill already." Ino said back semi-impatiently
"Alright, fine I'll tell you. But you better not laugh." Naruto said as he bent down and whispered it in her ear on what it was
"Really? That was your birthday wish?" Ino said in surprise of how mundane it was
"Yeah. Its not really all that, but I'm just glad that I got what asked for." Naruto replied
"Like I said, I don't need any gifts or anything like that. I'm just happy to have all you great people to celebrate with me." Naruto said with a bashful grin
"Well, I'm happy I could make it…but before I go, I do want to give you a birthday present." Ino said back
"Oh come on, Ino, you don't have…" Naruto tried to say before Ino planted a kiss on his lips
'Nevermind. Also, man is she's a good kisser…Like holy shit, she's good at this.' Naruto said to himself in deciding to simply roll with it as Ino continued to kiss Naruto for a few more seconds
"I know you said that, you didn't want any birthday presents. So I figured I had to give you something, it wouldn't look good on me if I didn't do anything for you." Ino said with a wide grin on her face
"T-T-Thank you, Ino. I'm not gonna lie, that was a pretty good present." Naruto replied still taken aback by Ino's sudden but briefly intense kiss on the lips
"Glad you liked it. Anyways, I'm gonna go…I'll see you later, Naruto. It was a blast." A happy Ino said before heading home for the night
"Wow, I got kissed on the lips by Ino on my birthday…This was definitely one heck of a birthday for the books." Naruto said as his attention was then drawn to the glowing sapphire light of the Ultimatrix
"Registering new D.N.A sample." The Ultimatrix's voice spoke breaking him out of his thoughts
"What the heck?" Naruto wondered
"D.N.A sample registered, Anodite transformation has now been unlocked, and ready for utilization." The Ultimatrix said once again as the hologram of a humanoid with energy for hair and pupiless white eyes appeared
"Ino's a alien?...You know what, I would question this right now. But for now, I just wanna enjoy the rest of my birthday." Naruto said to himself with a small yawn as he decided that this was a matter for future Naruto to ponder about
'Besides, I still have cleanup to worry about.' Naruto mentally noted before heading back inside and turning into DashRaptor to get started on cleanup duty
(The next morning, Jiraiya's House, Konoha, 3:06 Pm, October 11th, 996 S.E)
It was barely a day after the twins's birthday as Jiraiya was sound asleep or rather was asleep as he was quickly awoken by Fukusaku, who had done so for the fact that the Great Elder Toad had very urgent news in regards to the prophecy.
"What do you mean the Prophecy has changed?!" Jiraiya said completely taken aback
"What we mean is that the prophecy has been altered, Jiraiya-boy. As of this morning, the prophecy has changed completely... It seems that things have grown beyond what we could have imagined." Fukusaku informed the toad sannin
"...Just how bad are the changes to the prophecy?" Jiraiya questioned
"The changes were severe enough that Ma had to stay back to keep an eye on the Great Toad Sage. Apparently, what he saw was enough to force her to stay back with the other toads to tend to him." Fukusaku answered back causing concern to spread across Jiraiya's features
"Was he able to tell you what caused the changes to the prophecy?" Jiraiya asked
"He did, and it concerns Minato's children." Fukusaku told him
"I thought that the twins were covered. We've been training them to ensure they will bring peace as the prophecy foretold…What could they have done to have changed the prophecy this severely?" Jiraiya wondered as to what could've changed enough to make the Great Toad Sage's health take a dip
"It is not the twins that I am talking about. It is Naruto that is at the center of this." Fukusaku replied
"Naruto? What could he do to change the prophecy? The kid isn't anything special, Pa…He has some talent, but nothing like what we've been preparing Naoya and Hayase for." Jiraiya said back in confusion of how Naruto figured into all of this
"We thought so as well. However, what the Great Toad Sage had seen says otherwise." Fukusaku spoke
"Then tell me what he said about the boy? I have to know, so we can prepare." Jiraiya requested
"Very well." Fukusaku responded
With that Fukusaku told him of how Naruto not only would wield a device that would grant him a legion of transformations and nigh-endless might that would one day supercede the Sage of Six Paths himself, but also bringing about a new age and order of things. An age in where shinobi were no longer needed and seen as obsolete, one in where technology and weaponry far beyond what one could imagine, and one where being from beyond the stars would call their world their own.
All the while Naruto was at the helm of it all leading the charge and putting the world into not the peace they'd worked for, but an ironclad state of order where it was not peace that held true but dominion under one banner where either you aligned yourself with him and those alongside him, or were cast into a beak and horrid oblivion.
"That is the end of it, Jiraiya-boy. The eldest of the triplets is going to lead not just the Hidden Leaf, but the rest of the world into something we are not prepared for." Fukusaku said after finishing the lines of the newly-changed prophecy where Naruto was concerned
"Then what do we do, Pa? If this is what he foretold, then we need to deal with this now." Jiraiya spoke his eyes deadset in preventing what was said from coming true
"Calm yourself. I know that you want to act as quickly as possible and prevent this from coming to pass. However, I fear that if you do so, you will risk what our elder said to come faster." Fukusaku told his student
"Then what do you want me to do? I can't just let him go on and turn my home into a mockery of what we've been working for. I refuse to let him make the world into some despotic nightmare!" Jiraiya barked out in anger
"For now, we try to steer him away from what has been set… We may not be able to fully stop what is to come, that much the Elder Toad Sage had informed Ma and I. However, what we can do is attempt to correct the course, and perhaps spread peace on a scale that has never been seen." Fukusaku said to the Toad Sannin
"Are you sure this will work, Pa? I don't think that he's going to be in a listening mood to what I have to say. Much less come around to any of what I want to tell him." Jiraiya asked knowing that Naruto did not have the highest opinion of him
"Then you will have to work towards rectifying that…Right now that boy is on a path that will undo everything we have and are still working towards." Fukusaku spoke with worry in his aged voice
"Naruto as it stands is causing many things to change and unfold in ways that haven't happened, since the times before the Sage of the Six Paths came to power. Things which have been foretold will cause the age of shinobi to cease as we know it…That must not be allowed to happen…If it does, then I am afraid that everything we have experienced will seem like childs' play by comparison." Fukusaku added gravely
"What about Minato and Kushina? What do we tell them? They aren't going to take all of this very well." Jiraiya asked the elderly toad before him
"For now. Tell them nothing of what has currently happened with the prophecy. Not until the situation at hand as been eased. I fear that if we tell them, and young Naoya and Hayase hear of it, that it will spell disaster in the end." Fukusaku answered back, as Jiraiya nodded in agreement
"That is something I actually can agree with. It would be bad enough to have Minato and Kushina angry about this. But having two jinchuuriki, with tempers as volatile as Tsunade when she used to get blackout drunk…now that would be apocalyptic." Jiraiya said knowing of the implications of what could happen
"I'm glad you are seeing things as they should be…That being said keep an eye on Naruto, and try to have him come to seeing our side of things. The faster this happens the better." Fukusaku replied
"Don't worry, Pa. I'll have my men keep an eye on Naruto at all times." Jiraiya told the wizened toad
"Good, and good luck Jiraiya-boy. I fear that as of now, things will begin to change, and change drastically." Fukusaku said swallowing a hard lump in his throat
"But..until we meet again, be safe, and remember...The peace of our world, and the age of shinobi are on the line. So with all due respect, I suggest you handle this with the utmost care, otherwise Konoha and the shinobi world as we know it will come to and end." Fukusaku said again before returning back to Mt. Myoboku
"...So I have to not only keep an eye on Minato's oldest kid, but also make sure he doesn't rule the world, put an end to shinobi life as we know it, and turn Konoha into some kind of nightmare state…When did being a shinobi get this complicated." Jiraiya lamented to himself over the current events as he looked out at the chilling October afternoon
'I can only hope that I'm not too late to stop what the hell is coming…Otherwise, Konoha and everyone in the world is fucked.' Were the thoughts of the Toad Sage as his expression became a rarely seen serious and somber one
So with Naruto's 17th birthday here and come to a rather joyous passing, it also seems that with it the prophecy has now changed and Naruto's stake in things becomes far more than what he knows of. How will things pass as Naruto must soon deal with his involvement in the prophecy, and Jiraiya now having to invest in Naruto? Find out in the all new chapters of, The Alien Soldier!
Well, I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and everything that went on it in as now we get Naruto added into the mix of the prophecy, which is gonna be fun in how that plays out going forward. As thank you to Volcasarion30 for this idea, on how Naruto could be involved in things.

Kourtney Uzu Yato: Well of course I enjoyed it your Naruto stories are pretty good btw, and I'm excited for what Chapter 5 is gonna be like. Also, yeah once Naruto gets things up and running he's gonna bring Konoha into its own Industrial Age kicking and screaming. Also, for Mizuki I'm making it so that even when he goes in a fight that he ain't gonna down easy since I haven't shown all of what he can do quite yet...so keep your eyes peeled for that. Also, that's nice in regards to what she'd think of him, and in regards to my version of Naruto would have to say about her. For one he'd think its admirable and pretty awesome that against all odds she basically became a one-woman army and wished her the best, and would probably just make her something like a lightsaber as a gift from one menace to society to the other, and that if she ever wanted a shapeshifting menace to rip shit up with, then say fucking less and he'd be there in hot minute for the assist.
God of Wind 200: Eh, I've got plans for Fem Garra in this as it were since there's someone that I have in mind that I think would be a good fit for her all things considered. Also, I'm not really a big fan of the Biomnitrix as it just felt like the most mid version of an Omnitrix that there was, and as such I don't care to really implement it down the line. Lastly, it'll just be a solo pairing for Naruto and Ino, as one Naruto just has his sights set on her and two with how everything he's trying to accomplish in what's in front of him; I don't think he'd have the time to split his time between a harem and keep doing what he wants to to the best of his ability
