Ben and Rex now stood before five of the six remaining members of the Justice League, waiting to see what they were going to do with them. After all, they weren't even a citizen of this universe.

Superman was the first to speak."Well, you two, first we'd like to thank you for all that you did during the Thanagarian invasion. The world needs more heroes like you."

"Well, you're welcome," Rex said.

"It was really no problem." Ben said. "But unfortunately we can't really stay."

"Yeah, we still have a job to do." Rex tells them.

"And what would that be?" Flash asks.

Rex looked at the Martian Manhunter in the eye. "You're a telepath, right?" The Martian nodded. "Okay. Read our minds and look at the memories from a few days ago."

Martian Manhunter looked confused for a moment, but then his eyes glowed as he did as he was asked. A few seconds later, he stops as he has an understandment look on his face about what they were talking about.

"J'onn?" Superman looked at the other alien in concern, but the Martian just shook his head.

"Two days ago," began Ben, "I was doing a TV interview when a portal open up in the sky. I tried to get rid of it, but got transported to his world." Ben explains as he points to Rex.

"And because he somehow found his way to my world, my brother's experiment, who was locked up, got transported as well. After me and Ben's miscommunication, we worked together to stop Alpha. He eventually got my Omega Nanite which stores unlimited supplies of it. We did manage to stop him and trap him in a prison-like ball. In the end, my brother's portal was supposed to bring Ben back to his world along with Alpha but it went totally wrong. Instead of his world, we got stuck in this universe and that's where we rescue you." Rex finishes explaining.

"And now Alpha is out there in this new world. He could have escaped by now in his prison or maybe one of your villains could have got a hold of him." Ben informs them.

The Justice League didn't know what to say, they were totally shocked to find out about this. Now they are dealing with the multiverse once more. And on top of that, a new villain has just been unleashed in the world and they have no idea how dangerous he could be.

Superman held up his hands in a placating gesture. "All right, thank you guys, we understand. Do you think that you could wait outside while we discuss this?"

The two nod their heads in understanding, the two turn to each other and then walk out of the room. When they left, the League members turned to look at each other.

Flash spoke first. "Well, that kinda ruins the whole 'ask Ben and Rex to join the League' plan."

"They would have said yes if we had a way to get them home and back here as many times as they want. It would be no problem." Superman told him.

"Clark is right, but the fact remains. We have no kind of technology that could send them home." Wonder Woman said.

"So for now they are stuck here until they capture this Alpha and find a way to get back to their Earths." Martian Manhunter concluded sadly as he knows what it's like to miss home and family. "But who knows how long that'll take."

"Agree." Batman says.

Superman rubbed his chin, thinking of what to do. "For now we could help them find Alpha and recapture him for the time being." The other Leaguers looked at him. "We could set them up in a safe house in Metropolis. That's where they said they got transported. It'll be a perfect way to start searching for Alpha. At least it'll get them out of your hair, Bruce."

The Dark Knight merely scowled at Superman's joke. "I'll provide them with everything they might need."

"That wouldn't be a bad idea, Clark." Wonder Woman added. Then her expression grew thoughtful. "Maybe they could meet your cousin while they are there." Then she turns to Batman. "And maybe Batgirl and Nightwing can meet them too. It might be good for them to meet someone their own age."

"I'll see what I can do." Batman told them.

Both Superman and Flash nodded in agreement. "Then it's settled. Bruce will set them up as soon as possible and then they can start searching for Alpha. We'll help in any way we can." Superman looked at the other Leaguers. "Now, if there aren't any other matters, I think that we should adjourn for now."

The other Leaguers nodded, then began leaving the room; some to their homes, while others went to rooms loaned to them by Bruce. J'onn sent a telepathic summary of the meeting to Green Lantern, while Superman left to get Rex and Ben.

In the other room, Rex and Ben were talking to one and another as they seems to be discussing past battles. Superman opens the door as he walks in as he hears Rex telling a story on how he learned to using two of his machines at once as he never thought of doing it.

"So you never thought of using two of your powers at once?" Ben asks.

"Nope, first time doing it and it was amazing." Rex said with a smiles. "Was a little worried at first, but it worked out in the end. Defeated that bikers as he was eventually stripped of his nanites." Rex explains his story as the two teens noticed the Man of Steel.

"Hey, Clark." Ben greets. "So what is the verdict?" The teen hero asks.

"Since you guys got transported in Metropolis, we thought it be best to start there to look for Alpha." Superman starts to explain. "Bruce has a place there that he doesn't use. So you two will be using it for the time being."

"Sweet, when do we leave?" Rex asks.

"Right now." Superman replies.

"Hopefully visiting Metropolis will be better than seeing the alien invaders." Rex jokes as the two stand up.

Superman smiled. "Yeah, alien invaders don't really attract tourists.

"Before we go, mind if I try something?" Ben asks.

Superman nodded his head, tilting his head to the side slightly. "Uh sure. I don't see why not." Sperman replies.

Ben grinned, walking up to Superman and holding his Ultimatrix up to the Kryptonian. The Ultimatrix gave a small beep before a recorded voice similar to Ben's own, spoke up from the device, "Uncatalogued DNA detected." Superman blinked a few times as the green glow of Ben's gauntlet turned yellow, beeping a couple of times before a yellow light shot out of the side of the watch, moving up and down Superman several times like a scanner, "Unknown DNA sample acquired. Scan complete."

"Sweet." Ben said with a smile seeing that in this universe Ben can still scan an unknown alien.

"What exactly did you do?" Superman curiously asks.

"I scanned your DNA. That means I can transform into your species." Ben explains. "I might be able to bring back your people," Ben says making Superman shocked at this information.

"Wait…you can actually do that?" Superman asks.

"Yeah, soo as I learn how to use this thing." Ben tells him. "I'm still learning how to use the Ultimatrix since there is no user guide." Ben explains.

"Woah," Rex says in surprise. "I didn't know you can do that."

"Yeah, I actually help bring Diamondhead's species back." Ben tells them. "Granted it wasn't the watch that brought them, but still same concept." Ben said with a smile.

Metropolis

After talking more they left as they are now in Superman's city. Superman, Jet Ray, and Rex, now using his Boogie pack, as they flew just over the cloud layer over Metropolis.

After making sure no one is around, they landed on a specific balcony. Inside the two teens can see the place they are in is really nice as it seems to be very expensive. Luckily it had two rooms as each has it's own bed with their own bathroom.

"Woah." Jet Ray says as he looks around as he slaps the Ultimatrix, turning him back to Ben. "This place is nice."

"Yeah, never stayed somewhere so fancy like this." Rex commented as they look around.

"Well, I'm glad you guys love the place." Clark said as he was now in his civilian clothes. The teens turn to him as they see he is in a gray suit along with his glasses. "Bruce already had this set up in case of an emergency."

"Remind me to thank him later." Rex said to the Man of Steel.

"I'm sure Bruce already knows as he believes this is the least he can do after you guys help us with our invasion." Clark explains to them. That's when he remembers something as he handed them "Batman asked me to give this to you." He smiled sheepishly. "I don't think I was supposed to read it, but I got curious."

Ben raised an eyebrow. "And here I was, thinking you were such a boy scout."

Clark chuckled, remembering Flash saying something similar after the Justice League had defeated their evil, parallel-dimension counterparts, the Justice Lords. "Never even got my first merit badge."

Ben and Rex laugh as Rex opens the letter. Their eyes widened in surprise as they see a credit card along with a note.

"Use however you want." Ben read the note while Rex looks at the credit card.

"Guessing this for getting food and new clothes." Rex guesses as he looks at Clark.

"Most likely as he wants you guys to be comfortable as we have no idea how long you will be here." Clark said to them as they nod.

"Agree. But finding Alpha in Metropolis will be like finding a needle in a haystack." Ben informs as Clark understands.

That's when they hear an explosion coming from outside. Instantly, the three ran out to the balcony as they see an explosion a few miles away. Smoke and fire was everywhere on that block as they can hear the citizens screaming in terror of what was happening.

"Trouble." Ben noted the situation.

"What's the situation down there?" Rex asks the boy scout.

Clark uses his x-ray vision to see through the walls and out to where the commotion is coming. From what he can see, a group of armored soldiers fighting the police and S.W.A.T as they had what looks to be valuable and the Mayor with them.

"Intergang. A group of gang that gets a gold of alien tech and uses them for their own benefits." Clark explains to them. "They seem to have stolen money and holding the mayor hostage as they are fighting through the police and S.W.A.T."

"So what's the plan?" Ben asks wanting to help out even if this is not his city.

Clark was going to reply when he hears something. Turning to the other side of the balcony he saw a certain someone causing havic with their own loot.

"Clark? What's wrong?" Rex asks as they can't see what Clark is looking at.

"We got another problem. Looks like Atomix Skull is using intergang as a distraction while he gets away with the money?" Clark explains to them as he got an idea. "Why don't you guys take care of Atomic Skull, while I'll take care of intergang."

"Are you sure?" Ben asks wanting to be sure of the plan.

"Yeah, I trust you guys to handle Atomic Skull." Clark answered with a smile. "Besides intergang is easy as I want to see what you two can do in this world."

The duo nodded in agreement as Clark pulls his glasses off as well as ripped his shirt off displaying the house of El logo. And with that, he flies off to stop the intergang.

Ben smiles at how cool it was as he turns back to the Ultimatrix which he already activated with the alien holograms displaying. He was scrolling through the dial picking the right alien for the job, just as he found it he was going to slam the dial when he notices something. That something is Rex wearing a bandana under his mouth like a cowboy to hide his identity.

"Uh, what are you doing?" Ben asks in confusion.

"Well, I figured that since this world has superheroes that have secret identities I might have one as well too, seeing I don't have one in my world." Rex explains his reasons. "Besides Bruce wouldn't mind me using his shirt as a temporary mask."

Ben nodded as he agree that it might be a good idea to do that so they can have some kind of low profile themselves. "Good point." With that, he turns back to the Ultimatrix that still has the certain alien he selected. "It's hero time!" Ben slams the device as he was consumed by a green flash of light.

Meanwhile, a man named Joseph Martin, who goes by Atomix Skull, was currently running away with money in his hands. In addition to having dark green gauntlets on his wrist, he also wore a dark green shirt over it with a small portion of the lower body colored yellow. Atomic Skull had on a black belt with yellow circles wrapped around it. Lastly, he had on yellow pants with dark green boots that go up to his knee. But what's more interesting about him was the fact his skull is consumed by green flames as he emits Atomic radiation. Hence the name Atomic Skull.

He was still running but immediately stopped in his tracks as he notices a shadow looming over him as he believes it's a certain someone.

"Ah, Superman." Atomic Skull spoke. "I must admit, I was a bit surprised to see you considering-" But he stops talking quickly as he notices that it wasn't Superman ready to stop him as it was actually Rex, with his goggles and mask on. "Who the hell are you?" Atomic Skull asks as Rex was in his Boogie Pack as he hovers in the air.

"The names R-ahhhh" Rex stutters as he has no idea what he should call himself. He thought of Generator but it just didn't stick to him. Now, this is harder than he thought to pick his codename out.

"His name is Hardware." A voice calls out causing Atomic Skull to turn behind him, only for him to get sucker punched in the face as it sends him through the streets of Metropolis. "And me, you can just call me Diamondhead." Diamondhead introduces himself.

Diamondhead's lower body, torso, and the top of his head were consisting of indigo crystal which has black lines and dots over it. There were six crystal shards on his back instead of four and he also sported two more on the front of his chest. His eyes were green, and he wore the Ultimatrix symbol on his chest.

"Hardware?" Rex or now Hardware asks the Petrosapien.

"Well you weren't exactly saying anything so I thought I help." Diamondhead explains. "But what do you think?"

Hardware just nods in agreement. "Not the worst name I heard of, but it'll do." Hardware said honestly about the name.

"Good, because I didn't have anything else." Diamondhead said as Atomic Skull got up as he was really angry.

"So you two wanna be heroes, huh?" Atomic Skull asks before he unleashed a green radiation blast at them.

Immediately, Diamondhead went in front of Hardware as he takes the radiation blast. It connected with his hard skills as he blocks it with ease.

Seeing this made Atomic Skull's eyes widen at what just happened. Normally this has an effect on people, especially with aliens, but it seems it doesn't work with Diamondhead as well as with the Man of Steel.

That's when the Ultimatrix symbol flashed red from the massive radiation. "The radiation levels are skyrocketing," Diamondhead told Hardware who nodded his head.

Hardware then transforms his fist into Smack Hand as he went to go fight Atomic Skull. He dodges the fist before punching Hardware in the face as a green glowing fist was connected to the hero's face.

"Ah!" Hardware scream in pain before he heals quickly. Hardware then continues to fight Atomic Skull in combat as the villain catches one of the fists. Immediately, the Smack Hand began to glow green before it got turned to ashes from the amount of radiation Atomic Skull pulled out.

This didn't sit well with Hardware as he was getting hurt from this as he is not used to someone turning his machines to ashes like that.

"Something wrong hero?" Atomic Skull asks. "You're looking a little green. Let me help you out." He was about to grab Hardware before a hand grabbed him by the shoulder and threw him across the street.

"You ok?" Diamondhead ask the kneeling Hardware who was panting.

"I'll live. Let's take him down." Hardware said in determination. "I hit high, you hit him low." Hardware tells the plan which made the other hero smile at that.

Turning towards the villain, they look back at him only to see him shooting the radiation out of his eyes. They quickly separated as Atomic Skull was rapidly firing his blasts at them from both hands and eyes.

At one point, they immediately rushed toward him and dodges the blasts as Hardware punched Atomic Skull in the air. Before Diamondhead comes in and punches him back to the ground.

This sets him off as emits a powerful radiation field that sent the heroes flying back. On the ground, Diamondhead looks up to see a street light on the ground with an idea to stop the villain.

Back with Hardware, he had his sword out as he blocks a blast that sent him back a little, but luckily he is still holding it together.

"Hey Atomic Skull. Wanna play catch?" Diamondhead calls out which made the villain instantly turn to see Diamondhead holding the street light like a baseball bat.

This got Hardware to figure out his friend's plans as he quickly got rid of his sword as then summons his slam cannon. The back part of it went to the ground to get the ammo needed to fire.

"Hey Atomic Skull." Hardware calls out, who looks back to see Hardware armed. "Let's play ball." And with that, he fires the slam cannon at Atomic Skull as he was blasted towards the Petrosapien as he swings the street light at him.

This sends Atomic Skull flying into the air and away from the streets. "And it's going, going, gone! Homerun!" Diamondhead calls out which made Hardware laughs.

Now back to the villain he was still soaring into the air before he lands in the park's lake. The villain was quickly consumed by the water as he was floating down. Sadly he wasn't going to drown as the radiation mixed with water caused him to short out and gets knocked out.

Sorry that this chapter is short. Not much to say but I hope you all like this new update as sadly I wanted to rush this. The next chapter will be much longer. UltraPhantom out, PEACE!
