Hello again, readers. Here is another chapter of my new fanfiction of Tiny Toon Adventures in Kanto. To my last reviewer, Nicholas, who suggested Furrball should befriend a Houndoom. It's probably going to be one that Ash will catch. When it'll happen, you'll have to see. As for if Elmyra does learn the hard way that burns from Houndoom's flames hurt forever, it may happen. And that'll show that not even toons are safe from those effects. But anyway, onto the adapation of Pokémon Emergency, where our heroes first cross paths with Team Rocket.

Episode 4: Pokémon Emergency!

(Insert "I Choose You" from Pokémon)

Last time, Ash, our hero from Pallet chose Pikachu, a Pokémon who was not too thrilled with its new Trainer. Mary Melody, one of the many students from Acme Looniversity scattered throughout Kanto chose Bulbasaur. The two Trainers then reunite with Buster Bunny and Fifi La Fume, who is madly in love with Pikachu. Soon they found themselves fighting off a flock of fearsome Spearows. Pikachu saved the day with its amazing Thunder Shock, but the electrifying encounter left Pikachu weak and his fate in Ash's hands. Not only that, everybody saw the Legendary Pokémon, Ho-Oh and Ash got a hold of one of its feathers.

Ho-Oh arrived to the Hall of Origin to report to Arceus. "Lady Arceus, I spotted your chosen one, Ash. He's already out on his Pokémon journey alongside that toon girl, Mary Melody," said Ho-Oh.

"What has happened?" asked Arceus.

"They found two of the other toons already. That blue bunny that Marshadow was keeping tabs on along with that purple skunkette that Cresselia reported on. And that Pikachu she chased is with them too," said Ho-Oh.

"So, he's chosen Pikachu as his partner. Everything is going as I foreseen," said Arceus.

"I hope Ash and the others can set that skunkette straight about her views of romance. I mean, I remember how aggressive she was when she was wooing Pikachu," said Cresselia.

"It looks like they fought off a whole flock of Spearow cause I saw ones that were unconscious. And Pikachu's badly hurt. So they're on their way to the Viridian City Pokémon Center," said Ho-Oh.

"Oh dear," said Arceus. She turned to Latias. "Latias, I need you to go to the Pokémon Center, disguised as an assistant nurse so you can keep tabs on Ash and his group," said Arceus.

"Will do, Lady Arceus," said Latias. Latias' body glowed as she began to transform into a human disguise. When the glowing stopped, she was now a human assistant nurse. She had red hair and yellow eyes like her maid disguise. She wore a pink nurse outfit, which consisted of a pink hat and a pink dress that showed a lot of cleavage and had a really short skirt. She also wore pink lipstick, which was the same shade as her nurse outfit. "How do I look?" asked Latias.

"Perfect," said Arceus.

(End Music)

The sun was now starting to set on the outskirts of Viridian City. Officer Jenny was speaking through an intercom. "Attention citizens of Viridian City. Attention citizens of Viridian City. We have possible reports of Pokémon thieves in this area. Be on the lookout for suspicious looking strangers. I repeat, be on the lookout for suspicious looking strangers," said Jenny. Just then, she saw Ash, Pikachu, Mary, Fifi and Buster approaching the police station. Pikachu was still hurt from the battle against the Spearows. She approached the five. "Hey, I know you. You're those kids who filed that missing friends report a week ago," said Jenny.

"Yes. We're Pokémon Trainers now. And we found two of my missing friends already, Officer Jenny," said Mary.

"Hello. I'm Buster Bunny," said Buster.

"Bonjour, I'm Fifi La Fume," said Fifi.

"Did you say Mary and Ash filed a missing friends report?" asked Buster.

"Yes. A week ago, after Ash found Mary, they filed a missing friends report so that my cousins can keep an eye out for you toons," said Jenny.

"Have any of our other friends been spotted or found?" asked Fifi. Jenny shook her head.

"Not really. Seeing how some of them might be mistaken for Pokémon, they may be keeping a low profile. Although, the one you call Dizzy Devil is causing quite the mayhem," said Jenny.

"Yes. Ash and I did see that on the news that he was eating everything he could get his teeth on," said Mary. Buster and Fifi shook their heads.

"Oh Dizzy," said Fifi.

"Is there no end to your gluttony?" asked Buster.

"And has Monty, Elmyra or the pit bulls been caught since they got us into this mess to begin with?" asked Mary.

"No, I'm afraid not. But I did notify my cousins to keep a sharp eye out for them," said Jenny. Officer Jenny then noticed Ash holding Pikachu. "Is there any reason why you're carrying that Pikachu in your arms instead of a Poké Ball?" asked Jenny.

"Pikachu hates being in a Poké Ball. No matter how hard I try, we just can't get him into it," said Ash.

"Not even eef hees life was on ze line. And look what happened. The poor dear was injured by a flock of angry Spearows," said Fifi.

"Well, hopefully you do get that stubborn mouse into a ball. For if it's out in the open, he could be targeted by thieves," said Jenny.

"You mean Elmyra might try to steal heem?" asked Fifi.

"I'm not sure if Elmyra is the type of person who would steal animals from other people," said Mary.

"I'm talking about these two here," said Jenny, pointing to the wanted poster of Jessie and James.

"Who are those two?" asked Buster.

"From what Jenny told Ash and I, they're agents of a criminal organization called Team Rocket. And they want to use Pokémon to rule the world," said Mary.

"Do you two have I.D.s now that you're Trainers?" asked Jenny.

"As in I.D. cards?" asked Ash.

"No. But do you have Pokédexes. They count too," said Jenny.

"Oh yes. We do. Here they are," said Ash as he and Mary got them out.

(Insert "Pokédex Theme, Kanto-Johto Version" from Pokémon)

"I'm Dexter, a Pokédex programmed by Professor Oak for Pokémon Trainer Ash Ketchum of the town of Pallet. My function is to provide Ash with information and advice regarding Pokémon and their training. If lost or stolen, I cannot be replaced," said Ash's Pokédex. Mary then played a recording on hers.

"I'm Dexter, a Pokédex programmed by Professor Oak for Pokémon Trainer Mary Melody of the city of Acme Acres. My function is to provide Mary with information and advice regarding Pokémon and their training. If lost or stolen, I cannot be replaced," said Mary's Pokédex.

"Do you know where the nearest Pokémon Center is?" asked Ash.

"That way. But, I'll get you there in no time at all," said Jenny.

"Merci. We appreciate eet," said Fifi. Officer Jenny led Ash and the others to her garage and they got onto her motorcycle. It had two side cars, one on each side. Ash, Pikachu and Fifi got into sidecar and Mary and Buster got into another.

"Sit back, hold on and don't yell," said Jenny as she started the bike up. She then began to speed off toward the Pokémon Center.

"Whoa!" cried Ash and the others. The bike was creating a lot of dust as it drove off. Somebody coughed due to the dust. It was the orange haired girl they met at the river. She was carrying her broken and burned up bike.

"Hey! What's the big idea?!" cried the girl. She growled. "Come back here!" cried the girl as she ran after Jenny and the others.

(Insert "I Went to the Animal Fair")

Somebody then emerged the bushes. It was Elmyra Duff. Her clothes were still in tatters from the Spearow attack. She saw everything that happened. "That boy and Mary . . . they're trying to steal my bunny wunny and kitty witty!" fumed Elmyra. She then began to run after the group. "I'll save you!" said Elmyra.

(Insert "A Creeping Threat" from Pokémon)

Shortly after they all left, something grabbed the wanted poster with a fishing line. The fishing line came from a hot air balloon that looked like a Pokémon called Meowth. And the ones piloting were the criminals on the poster; Jessie and James. "A wanted poster. How flattering," said Jessie.

"Flattering? This picture makes me look terrible," said James.

"Then you should be happy that the photographer captured the real you," said Jessie.

"Exactly," said James.

"We'll show these bumpkins," said Jessie. The man took out a red rose.

"The people of Viridian City will be sorry that they ever saw this face," said James.

"We're all sorry to see your face. Stay focused. We're here to capture rare and unusual Pokémon. There are rumors that there are really bizarre ones that have been spotted not too far away from here. Don't forget, Meowth," said Meowth.

"Absolutely," said Jessie.

"But of course," said James.

"And just remember, I'm the top cat," said Meowth.

"You got it," said James.

"Meowth," said Meowth.

(End Music)

It was nighttime when Ash, Pikachu, Fifi, Buster, Mary Officer Jenny were approaching the Pokémon Center. "There it is," said Jenny.

"That's the Pokémon Center?" asked Ash.

"Eet's, how you say, gigantic, non?" asked Fifi.

"This is tricky. Hold on! Here we go!" said Jenny. Ash and the others yelped as Officer Jenny made her motorcycle skid through the entry doors of the building and stopped in front of the desk. At the desk was the nurse running the place, Nurse Joy. Nurse Joy had brink pink hair & blue eyes and wore a pink dress, a white apron, a nurse hat with a red cross and pink shoes.

"We have a driveway you know," said Joy.

"It's a Pokémon emergency!" said Jenny.

"Please help it," said Ash.

"Looks like a Pikachu. We'll do what we can," said Jenny.

"And while you're at, can you heal our other Pokémon?" asked Mary as she held out her Poké Balls.

"Oh, right. I have another Pokémon too," said Ash, getting out Rattata's Pokéball. She ran to her computer to enter instructions.

"I need a stretcher for a small electric Pokémon, stat!" said Joy. Two Chanseys appeared dragging a stretcher. Chansey was a pink, ovoid, Normal-type Pokémon. There were three hair-like growths on the sides of its head, tipped with a darker shade of pink. On the center of its belly was a dark pink pouch that contains a single white egg. Its arms were stubby, and it had small, dark pink feet. Additionally, it has a short tail. Accompanying the Chansey was an assistant nurse, who was really Latias in disguise.

"Chansey," said the two Chanseys. Nurse Joy put Pikachu on the stretcher.

"It'll be okay," said Jenny.

"Rush this Pokémon to the critical care unit, Lana. We'll begin the treatment right away," said Joy.

"Yes, Nurse Joy," said Lana. Ash and Buster were blushing madly at how sexy Lana was.

"Who are you?" asked Joy.

"His name is Ash, he's the Pokémon's trainer. And with him is Mary Melody. And these two are Buster Bunny and Fifi La Fume. They're toons, not Pokémon," said Jenny.

"If there's anything I can do, please tell me," said Ash.

"You can be more responsible," said Joy.

"Huh?" asked Ash.

"If you want to become a Pokémon trainer, young man, you don't let your Pokémon battle till it's in this condition," said Joy.

"But you don't know what happened," said Ash.

"Ash is right. What actually happened is that we got attacked by a whole flock of Spearows. Pikachu got hurt because of those angry birds. So don't give Ash a hard time when it's not his fault, please," said Mary. Joy's stern look softened.

"Oh dear. I'm sorry that I misjudged you," said Joy.

"Those Spearows have been giving Pokémon Trainers trouble every time they go through Route 1. I'll have to notify Pokémon Control about them," said Jenny.

"What can I do?" asked Ash.

"Just leave everything to us," said Lana.

"It's in your hands. I know you'll give the Pokémon excellent care," said Jenny.

"You got it here just in time," said Joy.

"That's my job! Oh my goodness! I left my motorcycle parked at the front desk," said Jenny.

"Next time use the drive way," said Joy. Officer Jenny giggled and drove off.

"Ash, Mary, you'll have to go to the waiting room," said Joy.

"Can't I . . . ?" asked Ash. Nurse Joy, Lana and the two Chanseys took Pikachu for medical treatment and the doors closed in front of him. Pikachu, thought Ash.

"Um, Ash, is Pokémon Control like Animal Control back at home?" asked Buster.

"When you put it that way, yes. Whenever there are wild Pokémon that are giving travelers a tough time, they're usually called upon to deal with them. They always bring Pokémon best suited to take down whatever their target is. For example, if Pokémon Control is indeed going to take care of those Spearows, they would bring Electric, Rock, Ice and Steel-type Pokémon," said Ash.

"I see," said Buster.

"But hearing how Dizzy ees causing trouble and people don't know he's not a Pokémon, does zat mean, Pokémon Control might go after heem?" asked Fifi, sounding worried.

"I'm afraid that may be the case," said Mary.

The toons' fears were right on the dot. For at the moment, Pokémon Control was indeed trying to capture Dizzy Devil. Right now, at least five members of P.C. had the purple Tasmanian Devil surrounded. They were armed with some strange looking guns. "FIRE!" said P.C. Member #1. They all fired what appeared to be metal cables from the guns. The cables then bound Dizzy Devil. Dizzy growled as he struggled to break free. But suddenly, the cables began to let off electricity that zapped him. He screamed in pain as he got electrocuted. Dizzy then fell to the ground, weakened.

"Don't try to struggle, you. These are electrified titanium cables. You're not going anywhere," said P.C. Member #2. They then threw Dizzy into the back of their van and drove off to who knows where.

(Insert "Prayer" from Pokémon)

Ash and the toons sat in the waiting room, waiting for Nurse Joy to finish healing Pikachu. It was about 8:00 P.M. and the Pidgey cuckoo clock sounded. The Pidgey in the clock was green instead of brown. Both Ash and Fifi couldn't stop thinking about Pikachu. Ash turned to the door of the operating room. The needle symbol was still glowing red, showing the medical procedure was still in progress. He then saw a line of video phones on the desk. "I'll call home," said Ash.

"That's a good idea," said Mary.

(End Music)

At the Ketchum house, Delia was relaxing when she heard the phone ring. "Ring, ring, ring. Ring, ring, ring. Phone call. Phone call. Ring, ring, ring. Ring, ring, ring. Phone call. Phone call," said the video phone. Delia answered it.

"Hello. This is the Ketchum residence," said Delia.

"Hello? Mom?" asked Ash. Delia gasped in happiness.

"Hi, honey. Is everything okay? Where are you, Ash?" asked Delia.

"Mary and I are in the Pokémon Center in Viridian City," said Ash.

"You're already in Viridian City?" asked Delia.

"Yep," said Mary.

"It took Ash's father four days to get there when he started Pokémon training. Oh he'll be so proud. You're the apple of his eye," said Ash.

"Yeah, a rotten apple," said Ash.

"Oh, Ash, don't get discouraged. You're doing fine. You're growing up right before my eyes. Spreading your wings and soaring like a Spearow," said Delia.

"I feel more like a fallen Pidgey," said Ash.

"I won't let you talk about yourself that way. Just be confident. You can do anything that you set your mind to. Do you understand?" scolded Delia.

"Yes," said Ash.

"And are you changing your underwear every day?" asked Delia.

"Mrs. Ketchum, it hasn't even been a full day yet," said Mary.

"Oh, sorry. By the way, have you found any of your friends?" asked Delia.

"Yes. Two of them," said Mary.

"Good evening, ma'am. I'm Buster Bunny," said Buster.

"And I'm Fifi La Fume," said Fifi. "Hello," said Delia.

"Is it true that you and Ash allowed Mary to stay with you?" asked Buster.

"Yes. We helped her prepare to go on a Pokémon Journey. She even showed us some of the cartoons you're mentor stared in," said Delia.

"Ah, yes. The Looney Tunes were the masters of slapstick cartoons," said Bugs.

"But . . . I don't really approve of how your mentor is teaching you to act like him, Fifi. His ways of love, they're just . . . wrong," said Delia.

"Sacrebleu. Not you too," said Fifi, doing a facepalm.

"Look, I'm not trying to discourage you from finding your true love. But you need to try to find new ways of wooing boys that are not aggressive. You could get in serious trouble if you continue down that path. Surely, your mentor should've seen that by now after all the times he was on the end of being chased," said Delia. Fifi let out a frustrated growl.

"Don't worry, Mrs. Ketchum. We'll try to make sure Fifi stays out of trouble," said Mary.

"Okay. Good night. I love you, Ash," said Delia. "Me too. Bye," said Ash. And she hung up.

"Hey, Ash. Take a look at this," said Buster.

"What is it?" asked Ash. Ash then saw what Buster was looking at. It was a part of the wall that had carvings of the Legendary Pokémon discovered around the world.

"Look, zere's ze Pokémon we spotted after we defeated ze Spearows," said Fifi.

"You're right," said Ash.

"Ring, ring, ring. Ring, ring, ring. Phone call. Phone call. Ring, ring, ring. Ring, ring, ring. Phone call. Phone call. Ring, ring, ring," said another video phone. Ash pressed the phone symbol button and it showed voice only.

"This is Ash," said Ash.

"And Mary. Who's calling?" asked Mary.

"Here. I'm over here," said a familiar voice. One of the carvings of the Legendary Pokémon slide open to reveal another monitor, showing Professor Oak, but he was seen from back view. "Ash, Mary, it's Professor Oak. Don't you recognize me?" asked Prof. Oak.

"Uh, Professor, I can only see the back of your head," said Ash.

"Oops. Wrong camera," said Prof. Oak. The monitor then changed to show Professor Oak's face. "I just spoke with your mother and she tells me that you and Mary made it to the Pokémon Center in Viridian City and found two of your missing friends. That correct?" asked Prof. Oak.

"We wouldn't be talking to you if we weren't here," said Ash.

"You couldn't be talking if you . . . Oh, I see. I dialed the Pokémon Center in Viridian City and you were able to answer," said Prof. Oak.

"Yeah, because that's where we are," said Mary.

"Hello, I'm Buster Bunny," said Buster.

"Bonjour, the name's Fifi La Fume," said Fifi.

"Mm hmm. I suppose that proves it. The other new Pokémon trainers made it there with no problem and I'm pleasantly surprised you got there so soon. I admit, when you left, I had my doubts that you could handle your Pikachu but when my grandson Gary said that you wouldn't have a single new Pokémon by the time you got to Viridian City, I bet him a million dollars that he'd be wrong," said Prof. Oak.

"Well, I got a Rattata," said Ash.

"Oh, I see," said Prof. Oak.

"But I did see a Flying Pokémon like that one. It flew right over the rainbow," said Ash.

"Don't talk such nonsense. You couldn't have seen this Pokémon. Trainers have searched their whole lives and never seen it," said Prof. Oak.

"It sure looked like it," said Ash.

"You must have been mistaken," said Prof. Oak.

"But I have proof," said Ash. He got out the Rainbow Wing. Professor Oak's eyes widened. He was so surprised, he fell out of his chair. "Professor?" asked Ash.

"Well I'll be! It's a Rainbow Wing! That belonged to the Pokémon, Ho-Oh," said Prof. Oak.

"Ho-Oh?" asked Fifi.

"It's a Legendary Pokémon normally found in Johto. To see it in Kanto is something that hardly happens," said Prof. Oak.

"And speaking of Legendary Pokémon, has Professor Ivy found out anything about that white lion?" asked Mary. Professor Oak shook his head.

"I'm afraid not. She found nothing about it. I'll have to contact my top student, Professor Elm from Johto next. And I'll be sure to tell him about how you sighted Ho-Oh. Ash, keep that Rainbow Wing with you. Don't tell anybody else. It should be between only us," said Prof. Oak.

"Sure," said Ash. And he put the Rainbow Wing away. Just then, Professor Oak heard a doorbell.

"Ah, there's my pizza. Coming!" said Prof. Oak. He started to dash for the door, but not before turning to Ash and the toons one last time. "It was very nice talking to you, Ash and Mary. And nice to meet you, Buster and Fifi. And good luck. Hmm. Anchovies, spinach and pineapple pizza," said Prof. Oak. And he hung up the phone.

"Now I've got you!" said an unpleasant voice. Ash and the toons turned to see who it was. Ash and the toons saw the voice belonged to the girl they saved. She was carrying her burned bike with one hand. "I knew I'd find you here!" said the girl.

"Sacrebleu!" cried Fifi, cringing at the sight of the broken bike.

"Hey, what happened to your bike?" asked Ash.

"What happened to my bike? You happened to my bike, you little loser! This is what's left after you stole it! Now, I can see why your Pokémon is in the . . . ," said the girl. She was cut short when she fell along with her bike, causing her to yelp.

"Oooh. That's gotta hurt," said Buster.

"Oh! Let me help you!" said Ash, offering his hand, but the girl slapped it away.

"I don't need your help! And you're gonna pay for what you did to my bike!" said the girl.

"I'll make up for it. I promise I will, really. But I can't do anything about your bike until . . . ," said Ash.

"I don't want any of your lame excuses kid. I just want a new bike right now!" said the girl. Suddenly, Buster tackled her and pinned to the floor. "Hey!" cried the girl.

"Will you just shut up?! He's in no position to get you a new bike!" yelled Buster.

"Don't you dare defend him!" said the girl.

"I'm only defending him because you won't give him a chance to explain!" said Buster.

"Zat ees very rude of you! Pikachu got hurt because of zose Spearows, not because of Ash! Ash didn't mean to destroy your bike!" said Fifi.

"Fifi is right. The bike is out of Ash's price range right now. So you're gonna have to wait to get a new bike. So please, be patient!" said Mary.

(Insert "Tears After the Cloud Weather" from Pokémon)

"Oh I'm so sorry. I didn't know," said the girl.

"Next time, look before you leap miss uh . . . ," said Buster.

"Misty. Misty Waterflower," said the girl.

"Yes. Misty," said Buster. Just then, the doors to the emergency room opened. Nurse Joy and the two Chanseys wheeled out the stretcher where Pikachu was resting. It was strapped to a life support system with a head device with a light bulb. Ash and the others ran to where they were.

"Pikachu, are you alright?" asked Ash.

"Your Pikachu's resting. It's a good thing you got it here so fast," said Lana.

"The procedure went well, and it should be fine," said Joy.

"Zank heavens," said Fifi.

"Yes, thank you very much," said Ash.

"Now your Pokémon needs a good rest in the recovery room. You should go in with it Ash. Oh, and here are your other Pokémon," said Joy, giving Ash and Mary their Poké Balls.

"Thanks," said Ash & Mary. Ash turned to Misty.

"Listen, I'm sorry about your bike. But I'm going to need some time to make things right," said Ash.

"No way! I fell for that last time. Well, you should take care of Pikachu now, and we'll settle up later," said Misty.

"Patience, Misty. You'll get a new bike, but not today, not tomorrow. But you will get it. So please. Show patience," said Mary. Misty sighed, knowing that Mary right.

"Found you at last!" said a voice that the toons knew all too well.

"Le gasp!" said Fifi. Everybody turned around and saw that it was Elmyra Duff.

"Elmyra!" said Buster, Fifi and Mary.

"Who?" asked Joy.

"Elmyra Duff, a former student from the school we attend, Acme Looniversity and ex-protégé of Elmer Fudd," said Buster.

"Cresselia, remember that pet obsessive girl that Pikachu saved Fifi from a week ago?" asked Latias telepathically to Cresselia.

"Yes. What about her?" asked Cresselia.

"She's here," said Latias.

"You're the girl from the river a week ago," said Misty.

"That's right. And I'm here to rescue my bunny wunny and kitty witty!" said Elmyra.

"Bunny wunny? Kitty witty?" asked Misty.

"I'm talking about Buster and Fifi!" said Elmyra.

"Rescue?" asked Ash.

"Yes! Rescue them from you, you thieves!" said Elmyra.

"THIEVES?!" asked Ash and Mary.

"Those are my pets!" said Elmyra.

"We belong to nobody except our families!" said Buster.

"And for ze last time, I'M NOT A KEETTY! I'M A SKUNK!" yelled Fifi.

"You were right about one thing Mary, this girl does have the I.Q. of a three year old," whispered Ash.

"I saw them years before you did!" said Elmyra.

"Just because you think certain animals are cute, doesn't mean they're automatically yours. 'Cause what if the animal you're trying to get already belonged to somebody?" asked Ash.

"I don't care! I saw Buster and Fifi first! And seeing how mousey wousey can't fight right now, this time bunny and kitty will be mine!" said Elmyra. Latias shook her head.

"You're right about one thing Cresselia, she's such an idiot. She's more messed up than Fifi in terms of I.Q.," said Latias.

"Yes," said Cresselia.

(End Music)

Just then, an alarm began to sound. Officer Jenny's voice began to sound on an intercom.

"Your attention please! Our Viridian City radars have detected an aircraft belonging to a gang of Pokémon thieves. If you have a Pokémon in your possession, exercise extreme precaution," said Jenny. The aircraft was Team Rocket's hot air balloon.

(Insert "Team Rocket Motto, Kanto-Johto Version" from Pokémon)

"Guess we woke up this sleepy dump," said Jessie.

"And how dare they act like we're criminals. They should welcome Team Rocket," said James.

"Well, we'll teach them to respect that name," said the Jessie.

"Meowth! And when we snatch all their Pokémon, those scared little mice will learn I'm the top cat!" said Meowth.

"We know, Meowth! We know!" said his two partners. Then, they threw their Pokéballs.

"Ekans!" said Jessie.

"Koffing!" said James.

"Attack!" said both thieves. Then, the Pokéballs were thrown off the balloon and toward the Pokémon Center. The two Pokéballs crashed through a sky window and landed on the floor. And when they landed, the two Pokémon came out. First came out, James' Koffing.

"Koffing!" said Koffing. Jessie's Ekans came out next.

"Ekanssssssss!" hissed Ekans. Koffing's gas began to fill the room that Ash, Pikachu, Misty, Nurse Joy and the toons were in.

"What's going on?!" asked Elmyra.

"What are . . . who are they?" asked Ash.

"Don't be frightened, children," said Jessie.

"Allow us to introduce ourselves," said James. Then, they began to recite their motto.

"To protect the world from devastation!" said Jessie.

"To unite all people within our nation!" said James.

"To denounce the evils of truth and love," said Jessie.

"To extend our reach to the stars above," said James.

"Jessie," said Jessie.

"James," said James.

"Team Rocket, blasting off at the speed of light!" said Jessie.

"Surrender now or prepare to fight!" said James.

"Meowth, that's right!" said Meowth.

(End Music)

"We've heard of you," said Mary.

"You're that organization of Pokémon thieves," said Ash. Both Ash and Mary took out their Pokédexes to get data on Meowth, Ekans and Koffing.

"Meowth, the Scratch Cat Pokémon. Meowth loves to roam at night to gather coins and other objects that sparkle, but it spend most of the daylight hours sleeping. Ekans, the Snake Pokémon. Ekans moves silently and stealthily. It eats the eggs of birds, such as Pidgey and Spearow, whole," said Ash's Pokédex.

"Koffing, the Poison Gas Pokémon. Koffing hovers in the air, thanks to the poisonous gases it contains, which have a foul odor and can explode," said Mary's Pokédex.

"I see our reputation proceeds us," said Jessie.

"Lady Arceus, three operatives from that criminal organization, Team Rocket are here," said Latias.

"I can see that from up here. Don't draw an suspicion that you're a Pokémon, no matter what," said Arceus.

"We're here for the Pokémon," said James.

"You're not getting Pikachu!" said Ash.

"Pikachu? We're not interested in your precious electric rat," said Jessie.

"We seek only rare and valuable Pokémon," said James.

"You're wasting your time. This is a center for weak and injured Pokémon," said Joy.

"Well that maybe so. But I wouldn't be all surprised if we found little Pokémon gems among all the junk," said Jessie.

"And we see two already in front of us," said James, pointing to both Buster and Fifi.

"You really zink we're Pokémon?" asked Fifi, rolling her eyes.

"We're not Pokémon. We're toons," said Buster.

"How do we know that you're not lying just to avoid getting captured?" asked James.

"Just throw a Poké Ball and see what happens," said Buster.

"Fine. We'll humor you," said Jessie. She and James each threw empty Poké Balls. But when they hit Buster and Fifi, nothing happened. Team Rocket gasped.

"It didn't work," said Meowth.

"So know you see zat we're not Pokémon?" asked Fifi.

"You're starting to bug me," said Ash.

"And me as well," said Mary.

"Isn't that cute?" asked Jessie.

"The kids are bugged," said James.

"Meowth. Then, let's squash 'em!" said Meowth. Elmyra became infatuated at the sight of how cute Meowth looked, in her eyes that is.

"Kitty!" cried Elmyra. She then began to give Meowth a bone crushing hug.

"HEY! WHAT GIVES?! OW!" cried Meowth.

"Elmyra, that cat is one of the bad guys!" said Mary.

"Nonsense, he's too cute to look like one! I'm gonna hold you, squeeze you and love you forever!" cried Elmyra.

"Koffing, attack!" said James.

"Ekans, go!" said Jessie. Koffing charged and tackled Elmyra, making her let go of Meowth.

"Ow!" cried Elmyra as she got rammed. Meowth gasped for air.

"What's with this girl?! She's got the looks of a teenager, but she's got the mind of a toddler!" cried Meowth.

"Doesn't matter," said Jessie.

"We'll crush her, like we'll crush all our enemies," said James. Ash and the others began to make a run for it. Ash pushed the stretcher Pikachu was on as they ran. Ekans and Koffing began to smash up the computers. As Elmyra was recovering, one of the larger computer pieces bonked her on the head, knocking her out. Ash and the others went into a room full of Pokéballs and more computers. Luckily, Koffing and Ekans didn't see the door and they went past the door. Suddenly, the power went out.

"Hey, the lights," said Misty.

"They must've cut the power," said Buster.

"What do we do?" asked Mary.

"But we've got our own Pika power source," said Joy. Everybody turned to peculiar looking generator. It was being powered by a bunch of Pikachus.

"Wow. Look at all the Pikachu," said Misty. Fifi then noticed that some of them had heart shaped tail ends.

"Excuse moi, Lana. Why do some of zose Pikachus' tails look different?" asked Fifi.

"That's because they're female," said Lana.

"I see," said Fifi.

"A crisis situation has arisen. Initiating emergency Poké Ball transfer sequence," said a voice on one of the computers.

"We have to save those Pokéballs," said Joy. A bunch of mechanical claws grabbed some of the Pokéballs and put them on some sort of machine. "This is Viridian City Pokémon Center. We have an emergency situation. Transporting Pokéballs," said Joy.

"This is the Pewter City Pokémon Center. Process initiated. Ready to receive PokéBalls," said the computer. The Pokéballs were transported to a different center in Pewter City, one by one.

Gas began to pour through the doors of the room. And then, James' Koffing burst through the doors. "Koffing!" said Koffing. He also rammed the shelf containing the Pokéballs and they fell to the floor.

"Get those Pokéballs!" said Joy.

"Right!" said Ash. He, Mary and Lana picked up the Pokéballs and gave them to Nurse Joy.

"Ash, Mary, do you have any other Pokémon?" asked Misty.

"I do. Go, Rattata!" said Ash.

"I can't use Bulbasaur since Grass doesn't stand a chance against Poison. So I choose . . . Sentret!" said Mary. Ash and Mary threw the balls and their chosen Pokémon came out.

"Rattata!" said Rattata.

"Sentret!" said Sentret. Jessie, James and Meowth's eyes widened when they Sentret.

"A Sentret, here in Kanto?!" asked Jessie.

"It must be one of those invasive species type Pokémon," said James.

"What does he mean about that?" asked Ash.

"An invasive species is when an animal or plant is brought into an environment they don't belong in. And that can lead to all sorts of problems. Back in my home, Australia has a huge rabbit problem," said Mary.

"We might as well steal that girl's Sentret," said Meowth.

"Not if I have anything to say about it," said Mary.

"Ekans, use Acid on Sentret!" said Jessie.

"Koffing, Sludge on Rattata!" said James. Ekans spat a black acid from its mouth, while Koffing fired brown sludge.

"Rattata, dodge it!" said Ash.

"Sentret, dodge!" said Mary. The two Normal-type Pokémon dodged the incoming Poison attacks.

"Rattata, Tail Whip on Koffing!" said Ash.

"Sentret, Scratch on Ekans!" said Mary. Rattata then began to whip Koffing in the face with its tail. Sentret scratched Ekans in the face. Jessie and James gasped seeing their Pokémon getting attacked. "Now, use Growl!" said Mary. Sentret let out a loud yell that was hurting Ekans and Koffing's ears.

"Rattata, Tackle!" said Ash. Rattata charged and rammed Koffing, knocking it into Ekans.

"Let me have a shot at them. I don't want you hogging all the battling. You guys take the Pokéballs," said Misty, stepping forward.

"That's pretty big talk, coming from such a little lady," mocked Jessie.

"At least you're right about the pretty part. Thanks for the compliment," said Misty.

"The girl thinks she's pretty," said James.

"I agree with her. I think she's pretty too. Pretty pathetic," said Jessie. Misty growled.

"I'll show you! Pokéball, go!" said Misty. She threw the Pokéball and it opened up.

Out came a Pokémon called Goldeen. Goldeen was a white fish Pokémon with orange markings on its tail, back, and fins. It had a single fin going down its back, pink lips and thin pectoral fins. Goldeen's tail fin is admired by many for its beauty as it billows very much like a ballroom dress. It had a large horn on its forehead. Unfortunately, since there was no water, it was flailing helplessly. Team Rocket had a look of surprise. "Goldeen, return!" said Misty. She returned it to her Pokéball.

"That's your best shot?" asked Jessie.

"She's all washed up," said James.

"You know as well as I do that a Water Pokémon can't battle on land. I was just warming up," said Misty.

"Warming up?" asked Ash.

"Just get Pikachu out of here," said Misty.

"I'll send out another Pokémon to help Sentret," said Mary.

"Right," said Ash. He returned Rattata to its Poké Ball.

"Go, Spearow!" said Mary. She threw the ball and Spearow came out.

"Spear!" squawked Spearow.

"Spearow, Peck Attack on Ekans!" said Mary. Spearow charged and began pecking Ekans.

"Koffing, Tackle!" said James. Koffing then rammed Spearow, knocking it down. But Spearow recovered and got back up in the sky.

"Poison Gas!" said James. Koffing spat gas at Spearow.

"Spearow, blow it back with your wings!" said Mary. Spearow flapped its wings, blowing the gas back at Koffing and Ekans. It didn't do that much damage since they were Poison-types themselves. But it certainly caused Jessie, James and Meowth to cough. With Mary distracting Team Rocket, Ash Buster and Fifi began to make a run for it, pushing Pikachu's stretcher.

"They're getting away!" cried Meowth.

"Koffing, use Smog Attack!" said James. Koffing began to release smog from all of its pours. Mary, Misty, Nurse Joy, Sentret and Spearow coughed.

"Spearow, blow the smog away!" said Mary.

"Spearow!" said Spearow. It began to flap its wings, blowing away the smog. But when the smog cleared up, Team Rocket and their Pokémon were nowhere to be seen.

"They're gone!" said Mary.

"That smog was a diversion!" said Misty. Jessie, James, Meowth, Koffing and Ekans were now chasing after Ash, Buster and Fifi. But suddenly, the stretcher bumped into the broken bike. Ash fell backwards.

"Ash!" cried Buster & Fifi. Pikachu opened his eyes.

"Pika pika," said Pikachu.

But then, all of Nurse Joy's Pikachus began to charge into battle. Everybody else arrived to see the sight of what was happening. Elmyra started to recover unfortunately too. All the Pikachus piled on top of Ash's. "Pikachuuuuuuuuuuu!" cried the Pikachus. Then, all of them let off a combined Thunder Shock that zapped Jessie, James, Koffing and Ekans. All four villains screamed as they were getting electrocuted. Ash's Pikachu emerged from the Pikachu pile. His wounds were fully healed.

"Pikachu," said Ash's Pikachu.

"Pikachu!" said Ash happily.

"You're all better," said Fifi as her cheeks blushed. Jessie, James, Ekans and Koffing were black as soot from the Thunder Shock attack.

"Do I have to do everything? That mouse is cat food! Meowth! Just wait! Pikachu, you're mine!" said Meowth, walking forward. Without warning, Elmyra grabbed Meowth and began to hug him.

"Got you now, my talking kitty!" cried Elmyra.

"Not her again!" cried Meowth. Ash growled angrily. Pikachu turned to Ash.

"Pika, pika pika pika!" said Pikachu.

"Pika pika?" asked Ash.

"Pika!" said Pikachu.

"Pika Pika Power?" asked Ash.

"Pika!" said Pikachu.

"So you want, you want more power!" said Ash. Ash got onto Misty's wrecked bike and started peddling to generate electricity for Pikachu. Even in the midst of getting the life squeezed out of him by Elmyra, Meowth saw what Ash was doing.

"What's this? Ow!" cried Meowth.

"Well, let's just say Pikachu and I are gonna generate a little excitement for you, Meowth!" said Ash. The light on the bike began to glow brighter and brighter.

"Huh?" asked Jessie.

"Uh-oh!" said James.

"Meowth?" asked Meowth.

"What's going on?" asked Elmyra. Pikachu hopped onto the bike. The light from the bike began to empower Pikachu. Fifi giggled.

"Here eet comes!" said Fifi.

"Pika Pika Pikachu!" said Pikachu. He began to shock Jessie, James and their Pokémon. The villains screamed as they felt the pain caused by the electricity.

"AAAAUGH! NOT AGAIN!" screamed Elmyra. Buster, Fifi and Mary laughed as the villains were getting shocked silly. Fifi was not just laughing, she was swooning over Pikachu's heroism as indicated by her pink heart eyes.

"My hero!" cried Fifi. But then, Fifi noticed something.

"Umm, guys," said Fifi.

"Yes?" asked Buster.

"I zink we should find someplace to duck behind," said Fifi.

"Why?" asked Fifi.

"I zink Pikachu's electricity might mix weeth Koffing's gas. And when zat happens, eet'll be explosive," said Fifi.

"You might be right," said Buster.

"Everybody duck and cover!" said Mary. The heroes ducked behind the desk.

"KOOFFFFFFFIIIIIIIING!" screamed Koffing. The electricity indeed set off Koffing's gas, creating a huge explosion that destroyed the Pokémon Center. Officer Jenny arrived and saw the explosion.

"Too late. But now for the fireworks," said Officer Jenny.

After the battle, Team Rocket, burned, bruised and battered started to flee on their Meowth balloon. "Great. A cat losing to a mouse!" said Jessie.

"That Pikachu is no ordinary Pikachu!" said Meowth.

"It's certainly very rare! A perfect prize!" said James.

"Let's catch it!" said Jessie.

"Perhaps we will along with the Eevee," said Meowth. Suddenly, a hole burst in the balloon and Team Rocket screamed as the balloon shot off into the distance as it was deflating. Ash and the others emerged from the desk and saw the devastation.

"Whoa. The whole building's been destroyed," said Buster.

"Sorry about that, Nurse Joy," said Ash.

"It's okay. This wasn't the first time this place has been damaged," said Joy.

"Could somebody tell me what in the world just happened?" asked Jenny.

"We were fighting Team Rocket and when Pikachu was zapping them, his electricity mixed with Koffing's gas and that's why there was that large explosion," said Ash.

"Unfortunately, the villains got away," said Mary.

"Not all of them," said Buster, pointing behind him. Everybody could see a hand sticking out from underneath a piece of debris. Officer Jenny removed it and saw that it was Elmyra. Most of her body was completely flat as a pancake.

"It's that Elmyra character you told me about who scattered your friends," said Jenny.

"Yes," said Mary.

"It looks like the debris that fell on her flattened her til she's dead," said Jenny.

"No. She's still alive. Toons can survive getting crushed by large, heavy stuff," said Buster. Jenny put her ear near Elmyra's chest and heard her heart beating.

"You're right. She is still alive," said Jenny.

"Please put zat animal chasing brat behind bars until we can find our way home," said Fifi.

"Sure. Mary asked me to arrest her and her accomplices anyway," said Jenny. The green-haired police officer used a shovel to scrap Elmyra off the ground. After that, she took her to the police station to have her locked up.

"I'm kind of lost here. What's going on? What kind of people are toons? And why is Elmyra being arrested?" asked Misty

"I guess we have a lot of explaining to do," said Buster.

Latias reported back to Arceus and the other Legendary and Mythical Pokémon. "I guess you all saw everything from the Hall of Origin?" asked Latias.

"Yes. We did," said Arceus.

"Ash and the others did an excellent performance fighting off those Team Rocket agents," said Lady Arceus.

"But unfortunately, they're going to try to trail them to steal Pikachu, thinking he's rare and valuable," said Cresselia.

"What dum dums. Any Pikachu can get to the level of Ash's if they try hard enough," said Latias.

"I have foreseen their future. And its going to filled pain and humiliation. Especially with the toons traveling with Ash," said Cresselia.

"Everybody, continue to monitor Ash and the toons whenever you can. We must see to it he gets through his journey safely," said Arceus.

The next morning, Nurse Joy called the Pokémon Center at Pewter City with the only video phone that was still operational. It was being run by another Nurse Joy. Unlike the Nurse Joy of Viridian City, her hat had a green cross. "Your Viridian City Pokémon were transferred safely," said Joy #2.

"Thanks, sis. Ash, Pikachu, Mary, Fifi, Buster and Misty are heading to Pewter City, your way. If they can safely get through the Viridian Forest," said Joy #1. Officer Jenny and Lana were with Nurse Joy #1.

"Don't worry. From what I seen, those six can take pretty good care of themselves," said Jenny.

"Yes," said Lana.

"Well I hope you're right," said Joy #1. At the Viridian Forest, the six were wandering the forest.

"I still find it hard to believe that you guys are from another dimension. I thought that concept only existed in fiction," said Misty.

"Well, that concept is real, just like the white lion Pokémon that lead us into your world," said Mary.

"We just need to find heem again so he can take us all home after we find all our other friends. Weeth Elmyra locked up at ze police station, we can find zem weethout her interference," said Fifi.

"I especially need to find my girlfriend, Babs," said Buster. Just then, Misty saw something that made her scream.

"What's the matter?" asked Ash.

"Look over there," said Misty. Then, Ash and the others saw that it was a Caterpie.

"Cool! It's a Caterpie. It's one of the Bug Pokémon," said Ash.

(Insert "Pokédex Theme, Kanto-Johto Version" from Pokémon)

Ash took out his Pokédex and it began to read data on it. "Caterpie, the Worm Pokémon. Caterpie uses the suction cups on its feet to climb trees and feed on its favorite leaves," said Ash's Pokédex.

"Even if they're Pokémon, bugs are disgusting. And I don't like them. Do something," said Misty.

"Alright. Stand back," said Ash.

(Insert "Pokémon, I Choose You" from Pokémon)

Both Ash took out an empty Pokéball. "This one's a piece of cake," said Ash. He pressed the button to enlarge their ball. Ash then turned his hat backwards. "Pokéball, go!" said Ash. Ash threw his Pokéball right at Caterpie. Will Ash capture the Caterpie? What sinister plans are being concocted by Team Rocket? Will Misty ever get a new bicycle? Will Buster, Fifi and Mary find the rest of their friends? Will Dizzy Devil ever see his freedom again? And will Fifi ever win Pikachu's heart? Sneak Peek

On the next episode of "Tiny Toon Adventures in Kanto", Ash successfully catches the Caterpie. Unfortunately, Misty doesn't like Caterpie and is outright mean to it. What's worse, she tries to corrupt Pikachu into liking her instead of Ash. But the toons won't put up with Misty's attitude and decide to show her a thing or two. And things get more complicated when Team Rocket show up with the intention of stealing Pikachu? Can the toons' get Misty to clean her act? Will Fifi save Pikachu from Misty's toxic influence? Can our heroes beat Team Rocket again? Find out, in "Ash Catches a Pokémon".

Well, Team Rocket have had their first defeat at the hands of Ash and the toons and the start of their delusion that Pikachu is rare and valuable. As you read, like some of my other Pokémon fanfictions, there will be characters who will not tolerate Misty's bullying toward Ash and will defend him. And the next episode, the toons will really show they will not be pushed around by Misty. And it'll be the start of Fifi and Misty's rivalry for Pikachu's attention.
