Chapter 10
Weiss.
Reese was standing outside the rundown hotel where Weiss is located.
"You sure about this Patty?" Reese asks.
"I'm positive that she is in there, here is the security camera footage." Patty says.
Reese then sees the footage from three hours ago, he sees that Weiss has a bag over her head and she was cuffed.
"Ok Patty executive god mode non lethal program." Reese says as he puts on his helmet.
"You have the go." Patty says.
A few hours ago.
Reese was sitting on the sofa right next to Yang who was currently asleep and Nora was asking to many questions.
"How did you do that?" Nora asks.
"Do what?" Reese says.
"That trick where you clapped and all of a sudden yang is sleeping." Nora says.
"It's a trick that requires a lot of training and understanding to pull off." Reese says while he looks at Winter with a "help me" look.
Winter meanwhile is treating the rest of team JNPR because during the breach they got hurt with some scratches and a deep cut on jaune because a piece of wood from the door got embedded in his arm.
"So what are we going to do now?" Jaune asks.
"Well what we are going to do is we'll find out where they took team rwby, and find them." Reese says.
"Then?" Jaune asks.
"We will proceed one step at a time, this is step one." Reese says.
"So why are you sitting there while the team is separated?" Jaune asks with anger in his voice.
"Because Patty is looking for them and for any clues that could help me." Reese says.
While Reese was talking, Patty was doing a massive search all around Atlas looking at the security cameras and the satellite images at the time of the attack. But she came up with nothing.
"What do you mean!?" Reese says.
"Well whatever the unknowns did they covered their tracks really well." Patty says.
"Great we have lost." Jaune says.
Reese wasn't paying attention to jaune, instead he was watching a maid.
Now during the visit to this hotel Reese noticed that the maids came in once every three hours to clean up and it normally took them fifteen minutes on average to complete the cleaning process, but this one was there for thirty minutes and the alarm bells were going off.
Reese then looked at Winter and did some hand signals.
"She looks familiar." Reese said.
"What do you mean?" Winter asks.
"The maid I've seen her before like I've seen the pink and brown…." Reese said then it clicked in his head.
Reese then stood up and walked towards her.
"Hey you look new here." Reese says.
Maid nods back without looking at Reese.
"You know I think I have seen you before have we met?" Reese asks.
The maid shakes her head.
"Humm that's funny cuz your hair I remember it at a party, yes a party where you killed Charles." Reese says.
Then the maid froze.
"Don't do anything funny." Reese says as he reaches for his zip ties.
Then without warning she elbowed Reese in the gut and she took off running.
"Patty lockdown the hotel." Reese says.
Then the doors lock the windows got metal shutters over them and the front door got bared and everything came to a standstill.
The maid got to the front door and tried to get out but was unsuccessful.
"Come on give it up you got nowhere to run." Reese says.
Instead the maid turned around and she was holding an umbrella.
"Let me guess hidden blade." Reese says.
The maid smiles and nods.
"Figured as much my wife told me about you and how you kicked her butt, well today your going down." Reese says as he brings out his stun stick.
The maid then took a stance and ran right at Reese, Reese waited for a moment and that moment was when she used her semblance.
Just then Reese heard Ironwood's voice call in for a stand down, but Reese ignored it and kept his eyes on the impostor.
At the same time she was confused at why this guy is not looking away.
"I would suggest that you fight me head on. Your semblance won't work on me. And don't try to use it again or I'll take a suggestion from one of my friends." Reese says.
Then ironwoods voice vanished.
"Very good now if you want out, you gotta fight your way out." Reese says.
She then draws her blade from the umbrella and gets ready.
Reese then draws his combat knife and his stun stick.
She then runs right at Reese and her first move is to stab him.
"Stab attack she is trying to throw me off." Reese thought.
Just then she started to slide kick him.
"There it is." Reese whispers as he jumps to her right side.
"You can do better." Reese says as he flys over her.
She was getting mad because he was toying with her.
She then hit his stick with her concealed blade.
CLANG! CLANG!
She then started swinging her blade wildly but she kept on missing.
"I knew it when you can't get under your attackers skin your tactics don't work." Reese says.
KICK! POW!
Reese then kicked her and punched her in the face.
"And here I thought i was in trouble, well that was fun." Reese says.
KICK!
Reese then got hit then she tried to stab him but missed him, instead Reese grabbed her arm and twisted it causing it to break.
CRUNNCH!
Her face went from fear to absolute pain.
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" She screamed.
"Oh she does have a voice." Reese says.
Reese then knocked her out, Winter then came walking up.
"Did you really have to break her arm?" Winter asks.
"No but after I heard the story from Yang about how she lost a fight to her, I thought a little payback is in play." Reese says.
"Fair enough well you think she knows something?" Winter asks.
"Don't know. But I won't know till I find out." Reese says.
30 minutes later.
Neo then woke up in a strange dark room.
"Uhh where am i? Wait why is my arm numb." Neo thought.
"Nice to see that your awake now." Reese says.
Neo then looks at Reese and saw the famous red visor that project predator is known for.
Neo just glared at Reese.
"Look I know who you are. Your name is Neo, your actually on the most wanted list. In fact your concealment tactics worked until I did my research and that's when I found you." Reese says.
Neo stayed silent.
"Look you can cut it out with the silent bullshit I know you can talk." Reese says.
Nothing.
SMACK!
Reese then backhanded Neo.
"You might think your aura might hold out till I give up. Well I hate to say this but the necklace your wearing has anti aura capabilities, so you will take damage and if I were you I would talk." Reese says.
Again nothing.
"Ok that won't work I guess I'll move on to idea number two." Reese says.
Reese then turns on a tv with camera footage of someone sitting in a chair, then Neo gave a reaction.
"No. Roman." Neo said.
"Found her week point." Reese thought.
"Yep that's him he actually survived his Grimm encounter from Beacon, so how about this you answer my questions then I'll let you see him if not well then this is the last image of him you'll ever see." Reese says.
Just then the camera shows that the chair is actually zapping him with electricity.
"What are you doing to him?" Neo asks with increasing panic.
"Oh I'm not doing anything to him. It's you who is doing it by not answering my questions." Reese says.
"OK ENOUGH! STOP IT! i'll answer your questions." Neo says.
"Ok first question. Who are you working for?" Reese asks.
"Black queen." Neo says.
"Now where is my team?" Reese asks.
"If I had to guess, the one in white is taken by her father to get reprogrammed, and the one in black she is taken by the white fang." Neo says.
"What about the one in red?" Reese asks.
"Black queen has something special for her I don't know what. I have answered your questions please stop hurting Roman." Neo says with tears in her eyes.
Reese then nods and the electric chair stops.
"By the way Roman actually did die by the hands of a Grimm. Thanks for the information." Reese says as he leaves a broken neo to contiplate how she got tricked.
Ten minutes later.
"Patty look for Jacques." Reese says as he gets back to his room.
"Wait my father?" Winter asks.
"The same." Reese says back.
"What does he have to do with all of this?" Winter asks.
"Well if I recall correctly you were going to inherit the SDC am I correct?" Reese asks.
"Yes." Winter says back.
"Well when you left Weiss was next in line then she made the choice to persue a huntsman life. Well it looks like your dad doesn't like that life path, so from what I got from our guest downstairs your dad is going to reprogram her." Reese says.
"How is he going to do that?" Winter asks.
"Your answer is right in front of you." Reese says.
"Project predator." Winter gasps.
"Bingo." Reese says.
"What does that mean?" Ren asks.
"That is classified information sorry." Reese says.
"Got him he is located here." Patty says.
Reese then got the address and geared up.
"Are you going alone?" Jaune asks.
"Yes this is a very dangerous scenario one that your not trained for." Reese says.
"She is our friend we need to stick together." Jaune retorts back.
Reese then looks up and looks right a Juane with an intimidating look.
"Listen carefully this is not a training exercise, people's lives are on the line and it takes only a split second of hesitation for a mistake to happen. So I'm going alone. I have the training. I will get her out in one piece and you're going to stay here. Am I clear?" Reese says.
"Crystal." Jaune says.
"Good plus I need someone to keep my wife occupied so she doesn't follow me." Reese says as he leaves.
One hour later.
"Patty shut down the lights."Reese says.
The lights in the hotel then go dark and Reese activates his night vision on his helmet.
Jacques was about to begin the process of reprogramming Weiss but all power was lost.
"What's going on?" Jacques asks his guards.
They shrugged, Weiss instead laughs.
"What's so funny?" Jacques asks.
"The bodyguard that escorted Whitley is coming to get me." Weiss says with a grin.
"Is he. Guards use lethal force and if possible capture him so I may deliver the fatal blow." Jacques says.
"Even your best won't stop him." Weiss says.
Reese meanwhile is clearing the hotel very slowly.
"For a hotel that is three stories high it has a lot of rooms." Reees thought.
"Let me help you narrow it down." Patty says.
Reese then sees a thermal image from a satellite and he now knows where they are.
"Thanks for that." Reese says.
"Your welcome. By the way security has the green light to go lethal on you." Patty says.
"They never make it easy." Reese says.
Reese then gets to the floor where all the bad guys are and he kicks the door down.
"Why did you do that?" Patty asks.
"I want them to know I'm coming." Reese says.
"Again why?" Patty asks.
"To try something new. Activate active camouflage." Reese says.
The guards saw the door fly open but they held their fire.
"Hold men he is probably waiting for us to make the first mistake." The captain says.
In reality Reese moved very slowly down the hallway to the position of where the captain is, next Reese took a M100 out of his pouch and pulled the pin and gently put it on the ground with the spoon on the floor.
"Hey, did one of you drop that?" The captain asks.
All of the soldiers then looked at the M100 and they all said no.
Then they realized where Reese is.
"Shit he is on t…." the captain was about to say.
But Reese gave the M100 a little kick.
BOOM!
KICK! PUNCH! BANG! BANG! BANG! PUNCH! WHAMO!
In that 3 second time frame the guards were knocked out.
Reese then went to the last room where Weiss is being held. Reese then put a doorknob charge on the door.
Click. BOOM!
Reese then moved in and punched the last two guys down and in the same motion drew his sidearm and trained it on the last two individuals in the room.
"Don't make a stupid decision I'll do it." Jacques says.
Reese then noticed the needle that is currently in Weiss's neck, and he also saw the same purple goo in the shot.
"Let me guess it's already been programmed." Reese says.
"Yes exactly now if I were you take your gun and throw it out the window." Jacques says.
"Don't do it Reese." Weiss says.
"Not a chance." Reese says.
Little did Jacques know Reese is about to pull off a precise shot.
BOOM!
The syringe that Jacques was holding then blew up and now he got punched in the face.
And Weiss meanwhile got gently pushed to the ground out of harm's way.
"AUGGGG! SON OF A…" Jacques says.
"You have now lost. Now be a good boy and sit DOWN!" Reese says as he pushed Jacques into a chair.
Weiss at the same time got up and got the needle out of her neck and untied herself.
"You ok?" Reese asks.
"Yes I am do your thing." Weiss says.
Reese then looks at Jacques.
"Now then your going to tell me all I need to know." Reese says.
"What's the point I'm already a dead man." Jacques says.
"What have you done?" Reese asks.
"The back queen will be in charge soon. So what's the point I'll still be in charge of the SDC. You. Have. Lost." Jacques says with a grin.
Reese then turned to leave.
"Stop." Weiss says.
Reese then turns around and looks at Weiss.
"Give me that." Weiss says as she points to the sidearm.
Reese then unholsters the weapon.
"Why should I?" Reese asks.
"This man has committed a number of crimes that he told me while you were off trying to find me." Weiss says.
"What has he done?" Reese asks.
"He has betrayed the nation of Atlas by conspiracy with the enemy, then he has paid off numerous people so he could stay in power, and the aid of kidnaping of team rwby." Weiss says.
Reese then thinks about it and he puts the weapon on the table.
"I'm not going to be involved in whatever happens next." Reese says as he leaves the room.
Weiss then picks it up and takes aim.
Meanwhile outside the room.
Reese was waiting for anything to happen but he didn't have to wait long.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Then silence.
The door then opens and out comes Weiss then she turns his weapon back over to him.
Reese didn't have to ask or even look to know what happened.
"Come let's go back, you'll want to talk to your sister." Reese says.
"Winter is here?" Weiss says.
"Yes she is and I hope you'll be honest with her." Reese says.
"I will. What will you do?" Weiss asks.
"I'll go find Blake and bring her back." Reese says.

A/N
The interrogation of Neo was to be a bit more brutal but after thinking about it I removed that thought. And yes this was a chapter where Neo gets her butt kicked.
