Rock n' Not Loud Adventures.
Chapter 333: It's the Loud House... Sorta...
(August 21. the Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)
The morning has come, and we see Lincoln and Luna wake up, and they both sit on the bed of Lincoln and don't seem happy about this day, heck they're not even in the mood to leave the confines of their bedroom, but they need to see this through.
Lincoln sighs, and so Luna pulls him close. "You ready to head downstairs and see what the heck we're gonna have to be dealing with?" Lincoln remains silent, and Luna knows why. They then stand up, and Luna sees Lincoln holds her hand, and so they head out of the bedroom and head downstairs.
They arrive downstairs, and see the other sisters are at the dining room and eating breakfast, but they remain silent. Then they see the two folks they don't wanna deal with, Lynnard and Rita Loud. The two then greet them. "Good Morning kids."
But Lincoln looks away and remains silent, and Luna glares at them. She then goes over and with Lincoln, they sit close to Lori and Leni. The parents can tell, that Lincoln and Luna don't wanna deal with them. Luan sighs and she eats her bacon and eggs. "The way Michelle Lewis cooked was better."
Lori sighs. "I should've woken up early. I literally remember the recipes of the food Michelle makes in the morning, and the food for lunch and dinner." The others also agree, and hearing those words kinda hurt Lynnard in the heart.
He is kinda happy about the kitchen changes, and the large fridge which he has to get used to and everything else that is new. They all remain silent, and don't bother with the two loud parents, and so Lynnard speaks. "Hey, perhaps next summer we can all have a Family Camping Trip. Perhaps, a trip to Scratchy Bottom Camp Grounds?"
They all look to Lynnard with unpleasant looks, and he feels small seeing their glares. "W-What's wrong?"
Lincoln then whispers to Luna, and then she speaks. "Linc would prefer Sleeping Bear Dunes Lakeshore Campgrounds better, because it's more responsible and watched over by forest rangers, and not by lazy bums at the other camp which scared the living daylights out of all of us." the others also agree.
The loud parents are shocked to hear this, and then Lynn asks. "Alright guys, who here votes for dumb Scratchy Bottom Camp Grounds?" They all don't raise their hands. "And votes for Sleeping Bear Dunes Lakeshore Campgrounds?" They all raise their hands. This surprises the loud parents.
Lola then speaks. "We'd prefer someplace that has some decency and something to enjoy, and also we're remaining silent because it seems like the polite and not so chaotic way when it comes to eating, though to be honest this breakfast tastes kinda bland."
Lucy then speaks. "We learned a lot of good lessons and guidance when Michelle was around, I miss her in the morning and her cheerful demeanor and I can't believe I admitted that one."
This leaves them speechless, but deep down Rita feels like her kids have been turned against her and her husband, but Lynnard sees that his kids have become better than he would've expected, something he could never have done back then.
Just then, they hear the doorbell, and this alarms Lincoln and he goes over to open the door, and he sees her. "Mom, you're here!" It's Michelle Lewis and he hugs her, then Luna rushes over, and the others and they hug her.
"Hey kids, as I promised that I would be back to check up on you guys. Also, I have been receiving incoming messages on what's been happening while I wasn't around" replied Michelle, she then sees Lynnard and Rita, and she doesn't look happy to see them, but her glare seems to be mostly locked onto Rita, and both women stare at each other with anger.
Deep down, Rita didn't like this. She still didn't want Michelle Lewis to be around the town, but then she sees the drones looking at her and she can't do anything about this plan.
Lynnard sighs and he is about to ask, but Michelle speaks. "You're driver's license and other stuff are in the attic." She then goes over to the dining room, and she brought a picnic basket, and has breakfast for them, and still warm.
Lynnard feels like he needs to improve and be better than his old self, but Rita on the other hand is deep in anger.
(Later in the day.)
As the day goes on, Rita and Lynnard have seen so much change from their children.
Lori is now more responsible, she's less on her phone and more focused on watching over her siblings and not being too pushy or demanding, and even does what she can to help with some problems. But they are more surprised, that she has to go to college soon, which Michelle Lewis paid, and Lori managed to spend time with her siblings, but she doesn't plan to spend time with Lynnard and Rita.
Seeing Leni not being a ditzy girl is something else, they didn't think she was also a smart girl and they also noticed her report cards which are in her room, and they are all good grades.
Luan is still doing some comedy, and her pranks but not too much, but she's also being as responsible as Lori, and hanging out with her boyfriend Benny, which Lynnard and Rita are unaware of.
Lisa is not too clamored with her science and being smart, but instead they tend to see her spending time with Lily, and also reading kid's books to her baby sister and teaching her how to speak. This is a side of Lisa they never saw coming, and she seems to want to enjoy her childhood as much as she can.
Lucy is sorta the same, but she doesn't cover her eyes, she covers one eye and has a ponytail. Lucy has become a responsible big sister, and always watches over on what the twins are up to.
Lana doesn't seem to be going into trash cans or eating trash and dirt, but instead she seems more focused in mechanics, such as Vanzilla, and her Go-Kart, something Rita and Lynnard didn't even know about, and yet Lana still has time for her animals.
Lola on the other hand, this is something they didn't expect from her. She's not the same wanting to win pageant child, since she told them she lost a few times and paid respect to her competition and saying how impressive and good that they are. She has become a respective pageant player.
But the biggest change... Is from Lynn Jr. She is not over competitive, she is holding back her aggression and calming down, and she is not superstitious and is always hanging out with her girlfriend, Annabelle or her sports TV buddy Mr. Grouse. Deep down, Lynnard feels kinda uncomfortable knowing that Lynn Jr has changed and become someone better.
And they all thanks Michelle Lewis for all this, something that Rita doesn't like one bit.
Right now, Rita is in her bedroom and she is going through her stuff, but then she sees something is gone. "Wait, where the heck is the manuscript for my book?"
Michelle overhears this. "In the attic, and also that thing is a disturbance in its own self. I mean, it's not even a manuscript anymore. You literally made a pile of junk stuff with paper and words, and should that be shown to a publisher, then they're bound to have a heart attack."
Rita looks to Michelle in anger. "And what the heck do you know about writing?"
"I don't" replied Michelle. "But the woman whom I am dating does, Amanda Bright. She has a manuscript, and sure to hell it's not like the one you made which looks like something out of the detention records of a school. Seriously, Amanda knows since she has experience, and she even informed her boss at the Royal Woods Gazette about this."
That one shocks Rita, her manuscript appearance has been informed to someone who runs the biggest magazine company in town, and they find it to be a joke.
Luna then shows up. "Hey mom, I could use some help."
"Yes sweetie?" asked Rita.
Luna glares at her. "I wasn't talking to you!"
Michelle then goes over to Luna. "What's the problem, Lunes?"
Luna then walks with Michelle upstairs to her room. "I need some help with this song, and the lyrics and the way it should sound..." Michelle Lewis knows what to do, she is after all a retired pop star.
Rita is not happy with what had happened. Michelle Lewis is still seen as the mother to Lincoln and Luna. Then she has an idea. 'Tomorrow, I will spend time with Lincoln and Luna and show them who their real mother is, and soon they will forget Michelle Lewis and we will never have to see her ever again!'
A/N: Yup, Rita's attempts will begin tomorrow and it might not go so well either. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this newly posted chapter everyone.
