This is going to be, well something that some of us may have predicted, and I guess it is time for a certain blonde loud mother to try and make amends to the woman whom she hated. Thanks again to "Marvelomac1010" for the concept and enjoy reading this new chapter everyone.

Chapter 351: Michelle Lewis and Rita Loud...

(September 08. Royal Woods local Supermarket. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

Michelle Lewis is pushing the cart, and getting what is needed on the list, and this is kinda different to her since she is used to getting groceries for a lot of people, mostly the loud kids, but things have changed and it's just herself, Lincoln and Luna.

Speaking of Lincoln and Luna, those two are at school, and Michelle is getting some time off after the case she finished and claimed victory earlier today, and she is feeling quite pleased with herself. She then finishes her groceries and she heads to the checkout.

Michelle falls in line behind Katherine Mulligan, and then Michelle sees a text message on her phone, and she is confused by this. 'What the heck does Rita want?' Whatever this is, seems best after she brings the groceries to her house.

(Timeskip. The Loud House, Franklin Avenue.)

Michelle finished putting the groceries away at the house, and then drove here. She knocks on the door, and she sees it is Rita who answers it. "Good, you came. Come on in, Michelle."

"Alrighty then." Michelle goes inside, and she is a little confused. She does look around and she sees the house is still the same as she left it, and it seems alright and kinda clean as usual. "So, Lily taking her nap or something?"

Rita nods and she sits on the couch, while Michelle takes one of the arm chairs. "She is, and I am glad you showed up. I know that you were kinda busy today and..."

"Why do you wanna talk to me?" replied Michelle, and then she continues. "What the heck is going on?"

Rita sighs and then she explains. "I wanna make amends, after all I have done to you. I let my dlouded judgment and jealousy over what you could do that myself and Lynnard couldn't get the best of me, and I spoke words that weren't meant to be spoken, and they hurt too."

Michelle didn't see this one coming, and she lets Rita continue with her explanation.

"The other day, I saw what went down at the Park when you and Linc and Lunes were confronted by those god awful rich kids. It goes to show, that you are an amazing, strong and brave woman to be a mother towards Lincoln and Luna, even threatening those trouble with the power you have. That is quite impressive, and also kinda scary."

Rita sighs. "After all the things that the kids and Lincoln and Luna have said, all I thought of back then was a way to beat you at being a good mother, and having you leave us alone forever. I got clouded by my anger, jealousy and also envy. I got provoked when Lynn left that note, and then when Katie Crest came and pushed things even further."

"I was too stuck in my jealous mind, and didn't care about what would happen to you, or how Lincoln and Luna felt, and thought of my own way and what was truly right. I wanted to show that I was a better mother than you, but I never did prove anything since all the words and hurtful truths during the visits have all come to light and have pretty much hurt Lincoln's heart."

"I went way too far with everything I insulted and back talked towards you. I never should've done that, and just seen the truth and reality of things, and not succumb to my jealousy and anger. I really wanna take back everything I said to you, because you don't deserve those harsh and mean words, and insults from me, when clearly you have been doing an amazing job at being a mother to the kids, mostly to Lincoln and Luna."

"I know that, forgiveness and trust are two things that Lincoln and Luna will take a long time for me to try and regain, but I don't even know if that's possible. But, i wanna make amends, and apologize for what I have done to you."

Michelle didn't see any of this coming, and then she takes a moment to calm down. "Rita, you literally insulted me, and made me feel like I was nothing, and below the dirt. You're words, those insults hurt a lot. You were legit annoying, and getting on my nerves with those words, and the whole jealousy thing you had with me."

Rita looks down with guilt, then Michelle continues. "But, I guess I can accept your apology, I just hope that doesn't ever happen again because it was taking things too far, and I don't wanna have to make a hard choice that the others would have to agree on." Rita understands, and she knows what Michelle means. "I will also inform Lincoln and Luna of this, and perhaps they can try and see you redeemed."

Rita is shocked to hear this, and she smiles and nods. Michelle then shakes the hand of Rita, and this is a sign that bygones be bygones, and accepting what new changes have come. This makes Rita sigh in relief, she is glad she made amends after what she has done.

Michelle then checks the time. "I gotta get going, gotta pick up Lincoln from school, but Luna said she'll be at Sam's practicing for the gig tonight."

Rita nods, and she watches as Michelle Lewis leaves, and deep down Rita feels kinda relieved. She might not have gained the full trust and forgiveness from Michelle Lewis, but at least it's a start.

A/N: They made amends, sorta. Well, Rita sorta made amends, but at least things won't be heated waters between the two and they can try to get along. I hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
