Chapter 353: A video chat with Lori...
(September 10. The Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)
We go here at the Loud House, and the Loud Family are all gathering in the living room to video chat with Lori, who is currently attending Fairway University. Lola then asks. "Where the heck are they?"
Leni then speaks, while carrying Lily. "Lola, calm down. They will be here soon, just be patient."
Just then, the doorbell rings, and so Lynn Sr opens it, and he sees who it is. "Hey guys, you made it." It's Michelle Lincoln and Luna.
"Well, we weren't going to miss out on a video chat with Lori" replied Michelle, and so the trio take the other couch. Lisa sets everything up.
"Alright, and we are going to be ready..." She then goes over and sits next to Lucy. "Now." The screen on the TV changes, and they see Lori.
Lori. "Hey everyone, literally happy to see you all."
They all are happy to see her and greet her. "Hey, Lori."
Lori. "So happy to see your faces, sorta." They know why, she still kinda doesn't like Rita and Lynnard.
Rita then asks. "So, how's Fairway University?" Lynnard and Rita feel like they should see that place, but Michelle informed them of what it is like, but Lynnard might just go there for the gift shop or something.
Lori. "Everything is literally better than I have ever imagined. I was kinda confused by the many different floors of the dorm rooms, such as one with sand traps, another with water traps and another where everyone is playing golf in the hallway. But, I managed to get used to it."
"The classes are advanced, and kinda hard, and the homework can be such a drag, but I managed to try and pull through and I passed my first homework and got good grades. My roommate, is Carol and next door from our room is Becky, and Whitney. Also, I was literally surprised to see Jessica Carson here, she said she is going to finish her final year at Fairway."
This surprises them. "Glad to know that you got some familiar faces there, and tell Jessica we said hi" replied Luna. "Chances she's gonna wanna hang out or perhaps help teach you what she knows."
Lori. "Sure thing, and she also wants to hang out with Lincoln and Luna too. Since, she kinda sees you two as responsible and strong bonded siblings, similar to herself and her little sister, Angel."
Lynnard and Rita are confused, they don't know who Jessica Carson is, but apparently the others do, and then Michelle speaks. "I'll explain who Jessica Carson is later."
Lori. "Enough about me. What's been going on with the rest of you guys?"
They each tell Lori what's been going down with them here in Royal Woods.
Leni is doing well as a big sister, and doing her best to keep an eye on the others, and the same goes with Lucy as she keeps an eye on the younger ones at school. Lynn and Annabelle are hall monitors for the remainder of the month.
They even told Lori of the whole ordeal of when Lincoln was moved to the classroom of Bolhofner, and she remembers him from Middle School and she doesn't like him, but she is shocked to hear that the reason why Bolhofner did that was because he has a crush on Michelle Lewis, and has completely lost his sense of mind. Luna's upcoming performance in the music talent show, and the whole talk between Michelle and Rita, to make amends for everything.
Lori is surprised to hear some of this, especially the whole Michelle and Rita making amends. Though, deep down she feels like she saw this one coming.
Lori. "Glad that things are literally turning out good for all of you there, kinda miss being there and I also can't wait for when Luna turns 17, and I will literally be there guys."
Luna chuckles. "Thanks, Lori. Also, I look forward to hanging out with you again soon, all of us do."
Lori. "Same here. Oh, I gotta go and do some practice runs on the course, and don't worry everyone I literally had dinner earlier, and chances have another round after practice. Talk to you all next time, or better yet... See you all next time."
"Bye Lori." The TV turns off, and then Lynnard stands up.
"Alright, so I guess we should prepare for Dinner." He then looks towards the Lewis'. "You guys are welcome to stay for dinner."
The trio agree to this, and then Michelle speaks. "I'll help out with that, but I am not sharing the secrets of Gordon Ramsay's cooking to you. Luan is the only one who knows, and I am glad she didn't show you how it's done."
Lynnard is about to say something, but Rita stops him. "Don't worry, I'll be with you guys helping and making sure he doesn't ask about that." The trio head to the kitchen, and Lynnard still wants to know how Michelle does it as good as the Master Chef.
Leaving Lincoln and Luna, to hang out and see how things have been going here in the Loud House. But deep down, all of them look forward to seeing Lori again.
