Chapter 374: Dream: Visiting the deceased...
(The Lewis House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)
The front door of the house opens, and Michelle is carrying the infant Lincoln, and following behind her are Luna and Leni, and they are in their usual daytime attire, and yet today feels like something a little special, and that special has something to do with checking on those whom aren't with them.
The Pug puppies aren't coming along, they don't want them to run around and cause some trouble, and they seem well-behaved and won't do anything bad as they remain in the house. Even they know that this is going to be a sad day, and when the kids come back then they will try and cheer them up.
Luna and Leni go into the car of Michelle, she then hands Lincoln to Leni, and she fastens her brother to his chair, and they all smile seeing the baby bring happy, and yet he doesn't know where they are going today. Michelle then sees Amanda Bright's car has arrived, and so she goes into the driver's seat, and they drive off.
Michelle feels concerned about the girls. 'It has been some time since we last saw them, and I hope Luna and Leni can keep it together, but then again they are growing up and trying their best to be big sisters, and be there for their baby brother.'
(Royal Woods Cemetery.)
The two vehicles are parked outside of the cemetery and we see the group head down the pathway. Luna and Leni hold the hands of Amanda Bright, and Michelle Lewis is carrying her son, Lincoln. They ignore the other tombstones, and they even greet a local groundskeeper who is cleaning one of the gravestones.
They then continue down the path, and they brought some flowers with them too, and then they stop and they see them. Five gravestones, and they belong are the former family to Leni, Luna and Lincoln.
Lynn Loud Sr, Rita Loud, Lori Loud, Luan Loud and Lynn Loud Jr.
Seeing them, makes Luna and Leni nervous, but they wanna be brave, and so with the flowers in hand they walk towards the gravestones, and with Michelle Lewis following them, and she sees the baby is confused, and a little upset and that means he is aware that this is something sad.
'It will be hard to explain to him when the time comes, and there will be tears when that does happen.'
Luna and Leni place the flowers onto the foot of the graves, and Michelle does the same, and even Amanda Bright. The two girls look to the graves of their sisters, and they feel sad inside, they mostly feel sad for Luan and Lynn since they will never get the chance to grow up with them, to Leni it hurts to know that her first best friend is not around, Lori was always her friend since they first met as babies.
Leni speaks first. "Hello Lori, it's nice to see you again, sorta. I am sorry that you aren't here, but that doesn't mean that you will be forgotten. Because, I will always remember you in my heart and memories, and also your friends will never ever forget about you too. Sometimes, they wanna come and visit and play with me and my friends and they're nice girls."
Leni sighs and she wipes away some tears. "I wish you were all here, so we can be a family and continue to grow up and play with our cute baby brother, but I will do my best and be the best big sister to Luna and Lincoln, and I won't let you all down. That's a pinky promise." They found this cute to hear from Leni, and it makes them proud to hear her say those responsible words.
Luna is the next to speak, but she seems rather nervous but then Leni holds her hand and this calms her down and be brave to speak. "Sisters, and mommy and daddy, I wish you were still here and that Linky wouldn't have to be afraid of not knowing who you all are, and I am sorry that we're not together anymore. But, I did what I had to and what you told me mommy, to make sure Lincoln is safe and fine."
"I will always keep him safe, and be there for him, and be his friend. I won't let you all down and I will be a responsible big sister just like Leni. I miss you all, and we will come back again soon to say hello and tell you what we have been doing. I love you all and Linky also loves you all too." Hearing Luna being brave and trying to be responsible makes them happy, she's trying.
Michelle goes next and she kneels down with the baby in her arms, and Lincoln looks to the gravestones and he's confused. She then speaks. "I will do whatever I can to make sure the kids are safe, and sound and alright. Nothing bad will come to them, and I won't let them get into too much trouble, and when the time comes then I will tell Lincoln the truth, we will tell Lincoln the truth."
"I didn't want things to come down to this, but we never know what will happen in our lives as it goes on, and I am sorry that you all couldn't be here and watch this little cute one grow up and become someone, but I know that you would want us to continue with our lives, and move onward to whatever happens next and just like Leni, I will not break this promise. I will be a good parent to them, just as you both were Rita and Lynnard."
"And, I'll be with them along for the ride too" replied Amanda Bright, and this makes them smile. Luna and Leni see her as another mom, and same with Lincoln.
Michelle Lewis stands up, and she sees the two girls go over and hug her, and she hugs them back and the baby joins in on this. But he does look back to the gravestones, and they don't notice him waving to something that they cannot see. Lincoln, can see some translucent figures, waving to him and smiling, and deep down he feels happy to see those who have lost their lives, but will remain within their hearts and memories forever.
The family then take their leave from the place, and Luna and Leni look back and smile, and they feel like more closure has been laid onto them and they head back home with their mother, baby brother and other mother figure, and looking forward to whatever else might come next for all of them.
(Reality. October 1.)
Michelle wakes up in the middle of the night, she yawns and then looks around and recalls. "Oh right, we're back home." She then looks to the calendar. "And tomorrow, Lincoln and Luna head back to school, and sure to heck they're friends will be asking of how Scotland was, and they will be in for a dang treat of a story."
A/N: Though it would be some sad and lonesome times for the former louds, they will try and move on with their lives and see things through as they grow up with their mother, Michelle Lewis. Things will be alright for them. I hope that you all enjoyed reading this everyone.
