Chapter 419: The Room Swap Incident…

(November 15. Lewis Residence, Olive Street. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

Michelle Lewis finishes doing some double checks on her paper work for the next case on Friday and this one seems easy since all the evidence is as clear as day.

Just then, she sees her daughter Luna come back. "Hey Lunes. How was school?"

Luna then speaks. "Quizzes outta nowhere and usual classes. Nothing new at the moment but all fine. Also, Lincoln is at Gus' so he'll be back later in the day."

Michelle nods and then she recalls the other day and what she overheard. "Luna. Tell me, what is the room swap incident? Also, I overheard this when you and Linc were talking the other day."

Luna is a little bit surprised to hear this and she explains. "Just something very stupid that the other sisters complained about. Lucy didn't complain though and we also call the whole thing "Room with a feud." The whole thing seemed pretty petty to me…. But that all blew over when the next day came and Lisa called in for a Family Meeting…."

(Flashback. Two Years ago, The Loud House.)

Spring Time and the louds are gathered in the living room to hear what Lisa has to say.

"Everyone, I have gathered you all here because I have found a clear and very logical solution to our current ordeals."

Lola grumbles. "Does it have something to do with a certain sister who keeps taking my dolls hair?! I only have one left!"

Lana is wearing the hair as a mustache and they both have a fight. But breaks it up. "Lana this thing you're doing with Lola has to stop and I mean it!" Lana grumbles about this but Lola sighs and tries to calm down. "Oh and your also replacing her dolls."

This shocks and confuses Lana. But Lola sighs in relief. "Thank you Lincoln."

Luna sighs. "This whole Roommate ordeal is pathetic. We don't need to swap since we do this kinda stuff on a dang daily basis. It all blows over eventually."

Lisa then adjusts her glasses. "As I was saying. I have found a solution. I have managed to get the DNA samples from everyone within the siblings and used my latest invention and ran some perfect match tests. I was going to use it to help Pop-pop to find love but I guess he's too old for that… unless he manages to do that by himself."

"Now after running tests on DNA samples, school book reports and journals and hair samples I have managed to figure out who will be rooming with the other to ensure that there is no trouble or arguments amongst each one of us."

This gets the attention from Lincoln and Luna and both are hoping they don't have to be part of this. But both didn't like any of this. Lincoln doesn't wanna be away from his big sister whom je cares for and sure as heck Luna is fuming inside if she's to be separated from her brother.

But they don't know, Lynnard and Rita smile and like hearing this. 'If this works then Luna won't have to be Lincoln's roommate and we can finally make her the rock n' roll gal she was meant to be!'

But they don't even know that Luna notices them and she has a bad feeling about this and she is about ready to chew them out.

Lisa then continues. "So only some of us will be swapping roommates and I have the list here. Now…. Lori and Lola because they have an authoritarian nature and care about they're appearance."

Leni and Lynn…. I think some of you might know why."

This confuses both Leni and Lynn Jr and they speak in unison. "What? Why? We don't have anything in common at all." Hearing that rests their case.

Lisa continues. "Lana and Lily because Lana can easily handle whatever Lily has in store. Which is just mostly her diapers."

"Now, The ones who will not be swapping are…. Luan and Lucy because they both cooperate well and have a love for their objects which they tend to speak with." She means Edwin's bust and Mr. Coconuts.

"Lincoln and Luna of course will not be swapping since they are both compatible and are alright with the company of the other and along with the many years they have spent together as the only cooperative room mates within this family."

Lincoln and Luna are glad to hear this. But this puts total shock into Lynnard and Rita. Lynnard then speaks. "Lisa, there has to be some mistake. Try again if Luna and Lincoln are compatible."

Luna is angered hearing this and she stands up. "I know what you're trying to do!"

Then Lynn Jr asks. "Wait. Wait. Lisa, why don't you have a roommate?" she doesn't wanna lose the linen closet.

Lisa sighs and she explains. "It appears that I am not a match to anyone here. The sole reason is because of my intellect. But then again… this is a total head scratcher." Then her hair falls off and they see her bald hear is glowing green.

The others back away from this and Lucy speaks. "Steer clear of us and also fix this problem you made." They all agree on that one.

But then they start arguing why this new roommate swap is not right.

"Lola is literally going to be bossy and ruin a lot of my video call times!"

I will not be in the same room as the girl who farts a lot!"

"As cool as it is to room with Lily. She might accidentally hurt my animal friends and then she could get hurt."

"I am not rooming with Leni. I want my own space and also she'll end up messing with my sports stuff."

"Yeah. I won't room with Lynn. She might ruin the fabrics and my things!"

Luna is getting ticked off. Lincoln, Luna and Lucy notice this and they cover their ears and Luna yells. "EVERYBODY QUIET!"

They all remain silent and then Luna explains. "Guys this is getting out of hand and also, the stuff you guys are annoyed by each other is just something you all do every single day and we all tolerate the whole thing. Instead of improving room mate qualities you girls could improve on you're attitudes and seeing the big picture here."

Leni raises her hand. "There is no actual big picture Leni. Calm down." Leni lowers her hand and Lynn really doesn't wanna room with her.

All of them take a moment to think about this and then Lori speaks. "Guys Luna is literally right. We need to try and just adapt and handle what each other does."

They all agree to this. Lincoln and Luna sigh in relief and are happy to still be roommates and Lynn is happy to keep her room all to herself.

So all of them go back to their rooms. Luna does cast a mean glare onto Rita and Lynnard as she goes upstairs with her brother.

Lynn Sr sighs. "Well that didn't work at all. But we gotta do something."

Rita nods. "We will find a way to get Lincoln and Luna away from each other and then Luna will be the rockstar she was meant to be."

(Present Day.)

Michelle is wide eyed and shocked. "That was stupid and ridiculous and very petty. But at least they don't do that anymore and all of them are happy with what they have now."

Luna nods. "The complaining is gone and everything is back to normal…. Still, I questioned back then on…. How many more plans did Lynnard and Rita had back then."

This get Michelle's attention and she too is deeply concerned and questions what else those Loud parents have been hiding.

(The Loud House.)

Rita is sitting by herself in the Living Room and reading a book. She took some advice from Amanda Bright to read a good book or anything to give her some inspiration.

But then she stops reading and she recalls Luna telling her about her other world encounter. 'There are other world's … where Luna did take up Rock n' Roll and yet…. There's still so much we haven't been told. We need to know more.'

Rita then makes a call to Michelle Lewis.
