The Days of Senator Uzumaki Naruto

Naruto sighed in annoyance. In front of him was Queen Amidala and her advisors. "It had been three months since the battle of Naboo. The Trade Federation would gotten off mostly scot free, but thanks to Naruto diplomatic skills he was able to negotiate term. Basically The trade federation had to pay Naboo five hundred billion credits in damages and give Naboo several conquered planet to do as they wished. They also had to reduce there military to a small defense force, crippling the Trade Federation.

In exchange the viceroy would not be prosecuted by the courts and can stay in power. The Amidala had dropped a bomb shell on Naruto. "Let me see if I understand this. You want me to be a senator?" asked a irritated blond. "Why?

"Ambassador Uzumaki," said the queen. "You were voted by the people."

"I wasn't on the ballet," said Naruto. "Yet I got 45% f the vote out of three other candidates. How did this happen?'

The governor of Theed sighed. "Two of the candidates dropped out and gave you all of their votes. You got a total of 88% of the vote total."

"It's to be expected," said Panaka. "You saved most of Theed's populace during the battle. Plus you got revenge on the Trade Federation due to you negotiation tactics. That is one of the reasons you got elected."

Naruto grumbles to himself. "Fine. I will accept the people voice."

"Thank you Naruto," said Amidala.

'Under one condition," said Naruto. "You are going to take my place when your terms are up."

Naruto had taken over for Palpatine, who was elected to Chancellor of the Republic. Valorum term ended a month ago. He ended it popular thanks to his handling of the Naboo crisis. Naruto was in his office looking at the bills he had to review. The intercom went off. "Sir you have a Jedi out here," said his secretary.

"Send him in," said Naruto. The door opens and a brown haired knight walks in with a blond haired boy. "Master Kenobi, young Skywalker. It's good to see you both again."

"How the political life treating you?" asked Kenobi.

"I swear, I am ready to jump out of this window," said Naruto as Obi Wan glances at the partly opened window. "I wasn't planning it today."

"I would hope not," said Kenobi. "We come with a message from the council.'

"Very well," said Naruto. "Let's take a look."

Naruto turns on the holo-device. An image of Master Windu and Master Yoda appears. "What can I do for you Masters?"

"We need your advice," said Master Windu.

"About what?"

"Any inside knowledge of the Sith," said Windu.

"With all due respect. The one thing I have learned from my time is the Sith adapt. I doubt they are the same as when I fought as one of them.'

"I can tell you to be on guard. There is Sith technique that makes them invisible to Lightsiders," said Naruto.

"How do you know this?" asked Windu.

"I invented the ability," said Naruto. "It was fairly basic but I can barley sense anything which mean they have improved it."

"I see," said Yoda. "This ability use it how do you?"

"The ability is simple. You just wrap yourself in a cloak of light side energy," said Naruto. "Anything else."

"Can you leave us Master Kenobi and young Skywalker?" asked Master Windu.

"Of course Master," said Obi Wan. The two leave.

"We have a holocron at the temple that we found," said Windu. "We tried to open it but it would not respond to us. We were wondering if you can come a take a look."

"What makes you think I can open it?" asked Windu. "Because of whose it is."

"Very well. I will come to the temple after my meeting," said Naruto.

Naruto took his speeder to the temple. Outside was Master Windu. "Glad of you to come," said Windu. "Sorry for asking you to come on short notice."

"Not a problem Master Jedi," said Naruto. The two make their way into the temple. The two get looks from various Jedi.

Getting to a giant room, the two walk in silence. Windu grabs a Holocron. "This is it," said Master Windu.

"Let me try to activate it," said the blond. Naruto using the force make the holocron glow. An image of a blond haired female in a grey robe appears. Naruto's eyes widen. "Lana.'

The image smiles. "Naruto-kun," said Lana. She turns to Master Windu. "I appreciate you getting him for me."

"Not a problem Master Beniko," said Windu. He turned to Naruto. "I wasn't totally honest with you. We were able to access it but Master Beniko asked to speak to you first."

"How?" asked a teary eyed Naruto. "I am sorry."

"It's not your fault," said Lana. "After you disappeared, both the Republics and Imperials under your command decided to join the republic. I joined the Jedi order and was granted an apprenticeship Under Master Satele. I was granted Master rank a few years later."

"It's good to see you again my love," said Naruto reaching his hand out.

"No one blames you for what happened," said Lana. "Remember I love you my husband. I must go."

"I understand," said Naruto. The holocron shuts down. "Thank you Master Jedi."

"It's the least we can do," said Windu. "Would you like to keep it?"

"It should stay in the archives," said Naruto. "Safe from others."

Naruto hands the items back to Windu. "I truly than you Master Jedi."

The two head out.

Naruto was in his office. "Come again?"

Panaka was on a holo-call. "There was a bombing in Theed," said the captain. "We had several injured but no deaths.

"I am on my way," said Naruto.

'You have a diplomatic mission to get to," said Panaka. "We will take care of things here."

"I forgot about my mission," said the blond. "God I hate this job."

Next day, Naruto was at the landing-pad waiting for the Jedi Master. The air taxi flies down and a brown haired man with a goatee jumps out. "You must be Senator Uzumaki," said the Jedi.

"The honor is mine Master Syfo-Dias Jedi," said Naruto. "Any reason you asked me to go with you?"

"You skills should prove useful," said Master Dias.

"Why Kamino?" asked Naruto. "I know they are cloners."

"You are well informed.'

The two head into the diplomatic cruiser. A little while in hyperspace, Master Dias and Naruto where having a discussion. "What is your opinion on the Republic?" asked the Jedi Master.

"I believe like any government, it has its flaws," said Naruto. "But it should be up to the senate to keep the leader in check."

"What do you think of the role of the Jedi?" asked the Jedi.

"Would you like my opinion as a Republic Senator or former Sith Lord," said Naruto. "You where on the council when I was introduced to the Jedi."

"Both," said the Master.

"A senator, the Jedi would be more effective as peacekeeper and diplomats. However, as a former enemy of the Jedi," said Naruto taking a deep breath. "You should not used to peace and be ready to wage war."

"My thought exactly," said Syfo-Dias. "That is why I am going on this unsanctioned mission."

"I figured," said the blond. "My guess is you want to get army?"

"Correct. I saw the Sith coming for year. I am master of foresight. I saw a darkness taking over the galaxy."

"Why didn't you tell the Jedi?" asked Naruto.

"They would not have believe me," said the Master. "We should be arriving in a few hours."

The two get to the rainy planet and land the ship. Entering the sleek white building, Naruto eyes narrow. "You ok Senator?" asked Master Syfo-Dias.

"I sense a presence. Strong in the force," said Naruto. "It's untapped.'

"Are you going to look for it?" asked the Jedi Master.

"Yes," said Naruto. "Cover for me."

Naruto walks away. He quickly feels a hand in his pocket. "Found you," he whispered. He takes off after the pickpocket. He heads into a room and sees a small Kominian child. Her long neck but wearing rags. Naruto sense fear and anger. "Calm down. I won't hurt you," said Naruto.

"I heard that before," said the child.

Naruto takes in her appearance. Almost bony. "I can tell you're hungry," said the blond. "Why are you alone?"

"Everyone says I am cursed," said the child.

"I see," said Naruto closing his eyes. "Let me guess stuff happened around you that can't be explained?"

The child eyes widen. "How?"

Naruto raises his hand and levitates the wallet in her hand. "I can do it too. You tapping into the force."

"Are you a Jedi?"

"No, I don't know what I am anymore," said the blond. "How would you like to be adopted."

"They won't let you."

"Let me take care of that," said the blond.

The two head to the administrative building. "You must be the senator," said a Kominian. She looks at the child with a sneer. "I wish you wouldn't bother our visitor."

"No bother at all," said Naruto. "I saw her nearby and thought I talk to her."

Master Syfo-Dias looks on. "She is not meant to be seen," said the Kominian.

"If she is an issue here. Why don't I take her with me," said Naruto. "I have always wanted a daughter or son."

"That is not allowed," said the Kominian.

"Yet you would keep her here in this dreaded condition," said Naruto. "I am willing to pay for the adoption. One Million credits should suffice.'

The Jedi Master snaps his head in Naruto direction. "I guess we can allow it," said another Kominian. "I am Prime Minister Lama Su."

"Pleasure," said Naruto. "So we have a deal for her adoption."

"I will put the paperwork through," said Lama Su.

Naruto nods his head. "What is your name?"

"She was not given one," said Lama Su. "You might have to pick one."

"I shall," said Naruto. "How does Kushina sound?"

"I like it father," said the now named Kushina.

"You are being named after my mother, wear it proudly," said Naruto. He turns to the two. "I will sign the paperwork to make it official."

Later the group of three head to the starship. Master Syfo-Dias turns to Naruto. "Can you keep this a secret from the Jedi council?"

"I shall," said Naruto. "Kushina let's go. We'll get you settled n my apartment."

"Father, wat is your job?" asked the curious child.

"I am a senator," said the blond. "I tell lies."

The young child gives off a small smile.

Back in the capital planet. Naruto carried his daughter into the apartment. "Here is your room," said Naruto. "I was not planning on adopting anyone so it's kind of bare with a bed and a night stand."

"It's perfect father," said Kushina.

"We will go shopping for some more stuff. In the mean time, let's get some grub," said the blond.

Naruto was at Dex Dinar. "Can I speak to Dex?" he asked the waitress droid.

"I shall get him senator," said the droid.

Oh senator Uzumaki," said the owner a chubby Besalisk. "Who's this?"

"Dex, meet my adoptive daughter Kushina," said the blond.

"Sounds like a story?" asked the owner.

"Another time. I wanted to introduce her and get some dinner," said Naruto.

"Your daughter meal is on the house," said Dex.

A/N: Story is updated hope you all enjoyed. Naruto even though was a Sith, he will treat Kushina as a daughter not a tool. He wanted to adopt her because of her strong connection in the force. Kamino is notorious for exiling or disliking anything not perfect. That included force sensitives. They refused to give Kushina a name because of it. Hope you all enjoyed
