The Attack of the Clones Part 1

Heading to Coruscant was a Sleek silver star ship. In side was a man with an eye patch. "I guess I was worried for nothing. As a whites gowned female walking down the ramp, it explodes.

Naruto was sitting in his office. It has been several months since he stepped down as Senator and now is an advisor to his successor. "She should be here soon," said the blond. Looking out the window his eye widen as he sees smoke on the platform. "Shit another attempt?"

Leaving his office he runs to the bottom floor. Getting to the platform, Naruto sees Padme over a body sobbing. "Milady," said Naruto. "What happened?"

"A bomb."

Naruto turns to the man. "Captain report."

"We landed safely, but a bomb went off once the ramp was lowered," said the man.

"I see," said Naruto. "I want our people to investigate."

"That will not be necessary," said a voice. A man in blue armor walks up. He had red hair. "My name is Agent Dougbound and I have been instructed to investigate on orders of the chancellor."

"I will have to deny the request from the Chancellor," said the blond. "A Naboo Senator was almost assassinated. This is a Naboo matter."

"With all due respect. This is Coruscant and under the direct leadership of the Supreme Chancellor," said the Agent.

"Maybe so. However; this platform is owned and paid for by the Naboo government. He has no authority here," said the blond. "Captain. Make sure no one who isn't authorized gets close. I want a the discovery of the bomb fragments make and the another information you can find."

"Yes Sir," said the man. He walks up to Naruto. "What about the Republic's investigator."

"Share your finding with him but limited," said Naruto. "Something isn't right and I don't like it.'

"Understood sir.'

Naruto walks to Padme. "We will hold her final rites after the meeting."

"I shouldn't have come back," said Padme.

"I don't agree with your position on this matter. This vote is important and I want you to succeed," said the blond. Turning to the captain. "I want that body sent to her family for burial. It's the least we can do.'

"Yes sir."

In the Chancellor's office several members of the Jedi order where in a meeting was taking place. "I am trying to negotiate with the separatist," said Palpatine. "My negotiation will not fail."

"But if they do," said Master Windu. "You must realize we aren't soldiers."

"That why they must not fail," said Palpatine.

"Chancellor the loyal senators are here," said an aide.

Several senators walked in along with Naruto. Master Yoda walks up. "Senator Amidala. Heard what happened, such a tragedy. Seeing you alive bring warm feelings to my heart."

"Do we know the cause?" asked Windu.

"Disgruntled minors," said head of security.

"I think it was Count Dooku," said Padme. Naruto sighs.

"Count Dooku is a political idealist not a murder," said Master Mundi.

"You got to understand. Count Dooku is a former Jedi. It's not in his nature to attempt an assassination," said Windu.

"But in danger you are," said Master Yoda.

Palpatine subtly smiles. "Then how about extra security. Under the protection of the Jedi."

"I don't need security," said Padme.

Naruto give her a hard look. "I think Jedi security would be beneficial. It would free up some of our men who stressed already."

"Naruto," hissed Padme.

"Did I stutter Milady," said Naruto with a slight glare. "I do have an idea of who I would like. Master Kenobi is one I have working relationship with."

"They should be returning from a mission any day now," said Master Windu.

"I will leave the politicians have fun in this meeting," said Naruto. "Master Jedi want to go for lunch?"

"Yes," said Windu.

Later that evening in a elevator two Jedi were standing next to each other. "Relax Anakin, you're sweating," said the older man.

"I'm sorry Master. It's been so long since I have seen Senator Amidala," said Anakin.

"Remember Anakin. You have a duty to the Jedi code," said Kenobi. They get to the top. Naruto greets them.

Master Kenobi," said the blond. "Young Skywalker."

"Naruto, it's good to see you my friend," said Master Kenobi. "Where is Kushina, I have a gift for her."

"Finishing up for the day in the academy," said Naruto. "On to more pressing matters.'

"What is the security situation?"

"I have several guards posted in the building and," Naruto goes to the window. "Around the building."

"You thought ahead," said Kenobi.

"Let me go get the senator," said Naruto.

The two sit down. Padme walks out. "Master Kenobi it's good to see you again," said the female. She turns to the other male. "Anakin, you have grown."

Naruto was sitting at his desk. "Sir your daughter is home," said an aide.

Naruto walks to the entry way. In the doorway was Kushina taller and 10 years older. "How was school?"

"Hey Daddy," said the Kaminoan. "It was fine.'

She sees the two Jedi. "How's the Senator?" she asked.

"She is fine," said Naruto.

Obi Wan walks up. "It's good to see you Little Kushina," he said.

"Master Kenobi," said the Kominoan. "It's a pleasure to see you again. I assume my good friend little Anakin is here."

"Yes and please don't embarrass him again," said Kenobi.

"Master Kenobi, I would never," said Kushina with mock hurt. "I wouldn't dream of it."

Right, anyway I have a gift for your training," said Kenobi.

Kushna looked at Naruto. "You told him?"

"I thought it best to keep the Jedi in the loop," said Naruto. "Can I ask what this gift is?"

Obi Wan takes out a holocron. "This is the Holocron of my late Master Qui Gon Jinn."

"Master Kenobi are you sure?" asked Naruto.

"Yes. Anakin is not interested in learning from Holocron but I thought it would useful to you," said Kenobi.

Naruto got up. "Since where doing gifts. I have something for of you Anakin."

Naruto hands a small datapad to Anakin. "Anakin this is the teaching of Master Ven Zallow of the Jedi order. When I faced Malgus the first time. I was able to grab this from the battle. He struck down the revered Jedi."

"Master Ven Zallow?" asked Anakin.

"One of the few Jedi Guardians who inspired both respect and fear in the Sith Empire," said Naruto

Anakin bowed. "Thank you Naruto.."

In the distance a masked female was on a balcony with an armored man. "I scouted the area, they have it locked down tight."

"I assume the bomb didn't work?" asked an armored man.

"Decoy."

"We will try something different," said the man. He hands her a cylinder. "Careful they're poisonous."

"Understood."

Naruto was in a meeting with Kenobi and Anakin. "I don't like this," said Anakin. "Where just waiting for something to happen."

Naruto sighs in frustration. "She covered the cameras," he said Annoyed. "What is wrong with her?"

"It's alright Naruto," said Anakin. "I can sense everything going on in that rom."

"Plus R2 is in there," said Kenobi.

Naruto sighs in resignation.

Outside the window a small droid cuts through the glass and a small tube opens up and two warms slither out.

The three were still talking when all three sensed something. "I sense it too," said Naruto. The three men run into the room as Anakin slices the worm inches away from Padme face. Kenobi sees the droid and jump at it out of the window. Naruto and Anakin leave and each get into a speeder.

Obi Wan was hanging off the droid as it tried to shake him off. In the distance the masked female saw Obi Wan and shot the droid destroying it. Afterward she gets in a speeder and flies off.

The Jedi Knight lands in Anakins speeder. "Took your time," said Kenobi.

"You know couldn't find a speeder I really liked," said Anakin.

"Where is Naruto?"

"He is chasing the Assassin," said Anakin.

The two lands the speeder outside a bar. "What took you?" asked Naruto.

"Anakin decided to take a short cut," said Obi Wan.

"I take it you're the reason for the destroyed plaza?" asked Naruto. "Good job on making more paperwork for me."

"What's the plan?" asked Anakin.

"Simple, bring the Assassin outback. I will make sure she does escape," said Naruto.

Naruto was outback when Obi Wan and Anakin carried out an injured Assassin with a missing arm. "I am going to ask you a question. You're going to answer," said Naruto. "Why did you target Senator Amidala?"

"I was hire for a job," said the female Assassin.

"Who hired you?"

"I can't say," said the Assassin.

Naruto waves his hand. "You will tell us. You want to tell us," said the blond.

"I will tell you. I want to tell you," said the Assassins. "It was a bounty hunter named." A dart hits her in the neck causing her true form to be reveled as she dies.

"Too bad," said Naruto. He sees a man fly off with a Jetpack.

Next day Naruto was in a meeting with Kenobi, Windu and Yoda in Naruto's office "Kenobi, find the assassin you must," said Yoda.

"The dart used will be the clue," said Naruto. "On too the protection of the Senator."

"Who do you recommend?" asked Windu.

"Young Skywalker has always wanted to prove himself," said Naruto. "Give him a chance with this assignment."

"That is acceptable," said Master Windu. "I assume you'll be interim Senator?"

Naruto laughs. "That's funny," he said. "No, over my dead body."

"Ok so we have a plan," said Windu. "I will give Anakin his assignment."

"Master Windu a moment if you will," said Naruto.

"Very well," said Mace. "I will join you later."

The two Jedi leave.

Mace turns to Naruto.

A/N: Sorry for the delay in the update of this story. I am still working on my Naruto Kingdom Hearts story. I was thinking of A new hope world aboard the Death Star.
