My brother Hunter and I sat in our apartment discussing the incident from last month when Hunter had to face our Grandmother, Teneris, and defeat her. "Has Lloyd been told any of this?" Hunter asked me.
I shook my head. "Apparently he's gone back to traveling throughout to Ninjago to protect those in need. I'm sure the Sensei will let him know the next time they see him." I chugged the rest of my tea and let out a joyful sigh after I had finished my drink. "So before you left for your mission Cyrus Borg contacted me. He want's us to head to head to Borg Tower for a fancy dinner party."
"That'll be a nice change of pace for us. When is this party?" Hunter questioned.
"Tomorrow night at around dinner time." I told him. Hunter got our fancy suits ready while I made sure our vehicles were ready to travel back to Ninjago.
The next evening soon arrived and my brother and I were getting our suits on. "Hey Nathan, why do you think Cyrus Borg is inviting us over to a party? I mean we did stop the Destroyer and Overlord from basically obliterating his Tower and Ninjago a long time ago." Hunter said putting his tie on.
"Good Question Hunter. I'm sure there's a good reason." I looked at the time and saw we had to get going. "Let's go brother." We both ran to our vehicles and hopped in them. It took only a few short seconds to power up the vehicles and just like that we were able to create portals back to Ninjago.
Our cars ripped through the portal a block away from Borg Tower. There was a long line of fancy cars and limousines stretching from the entrance of the tower to us. Valet were taking all the vehicles to a secure location and parking them for the guests. Eventually the valet took both my brother and I's vehicles and parked them as we entered the building and headed up the elevator to the party.
When the elevator doors opened, we were surprised to see quite a large ballroom. Cyrus Borg immediately noticed us and came over to greet us. He was in a massive spider legged chair. "If it isn't the Dimension Holders. I'm so happy that the two of you could make it. It's a pleasure to finally meet the two of you." Cyrus Borg was a well dressed man who wore a black turtle neck and a gray sports coat. He is extremely intelligent and is responsible for the reconstruction of many of the disasters that have occurred recently in both Ninjago and the IS dimension.
"Thank you for inviting us Doctor Borg." I said as my brother and I bowed in thanks. "So what is the special occasion for this dinner party?"
"I've just been very stressed out with the construction of not only New Ninjago City but the Infinite Stratos Academy as well. This party is a way to calm my nerves. However, I am afraid that this party isn't really helping." Cyrus frowned.
"Why is that Doctor?" Hunter asked the man.
"Please Please boys. Come chat with my privately for a minute." Cyrus Borg dragged us into an office and closed the door as he checked to make sure know one followed him. "Again thank you both for coming. I'm sorry that I couldn't have invited you on better circumstances."
"What do you mean?" I questioned the man.
"Recently I found a file in my computer system regarding something I gave a disapproval for a while ago." Cyrus paused for a moment. "My chief engineer came to me with a mech that could harness elemental energy." Hunter and I looked at each other in shock. "As you can guess why, I immediately shut down the idea. It seems though that someone still pursued the project and has been working on it behind the company's back."
"So why invite us?" my brother asked.
"I invited you so you can help me find the person who took the mech design. Everyone from the company is here and are mixed in with some very wealthy people to not raise suspicion on what I am doing. Please Dimension Holders, find this person so I can find and eliminate the mech."
My brother and I looked at each other wondering what to think of all this. After a few moments had passed we both nodded to each other and agreed to help Doctor Borg.
"Okay. How do we want to go about this? It's gotta be the chief engineer." I asked Hunter.
"I say we try talking about our elemental powers and we push him enough to prove that he is working on this elemental mech and then we stop him. Easy as that."
"That's not a bad idea. Let's get to work then." The two of us traveled around the ballroom talking to several of the groups of employees trying to figure out which one was the chief engineer.
After about thirty minutes of searching, Hunter headed towards the bathroom where he was stopped by a female employee of Borg Industries. "Oh. My. God. Are you Hunter!?"
Hunter looked around confused. "Yeah? How can I help you?"
The girl shrieked in excitement. "Your the orange Ninja! The master of Wind! The Creator!"
Hunter began to blush and laughed embarrassingly. "I'm not the Creator yet. I'm training hard to be though."
"I can tell by your muscles you're training well." She smiled. Hunter went full red after hearing her make that comment. The employee started to get closer to Hunter. "You know what's even nicer than your muscles?" She whispered to him. Hunter couldn't function properly and could not respond to her. She's too close he thought "Your powers." Hunter snapped out of his trance and looked at her even more confused than he was before. The girl punched Hunter in the gut and spin kicked him into one of the large bathrooms inside the ballroom hallway of the building.
After recovering quickly from the quick gut punch Hunter looked angrily at the girl. "So I take it you must be the one with the mech huh?" He questioned her.
The girl smirked at him. "That'd be correct."
"And I'm guessing you want my powers?"
"Boy, you sure catch on quickly." She laughed at my brother.
"Yeah? Well you sure picked the wrong ninja to mess with!" Hunter blasted a beam of energy at the girl. Out of nowhere a metal hand formed around her hand and her arm. She blocked the beam with her hand and sucked up Hunter's powers. Hunter stopped and the employee smirked at him. "Well try this on for size! Ninja Go!" Hunter did spinjitzu and started spinning at the girl. She pointed her hand at Hunter and shot his power back at him. The beam of power came back and hit Hunter out of his spinjitzu and into the bathroom wall. "Okay. So you can also do that."
"I think you might have picked the wrong girl to mess with ninja." The girl retorted to Hunter
"Maybe so, but there's nothin' like a good ol' sword to get the job done." Hunter took out his elemental sword and ran at the girl. A metal sword formed in her metal hand and she held it up to block Hunter's attack. "It's too bad I'm not using it!" Hunter did spinjitzu again and sucked her into the spinjitzu vortex where he spit her out into a bathroom stall.
"You've got some spunk in you Windy." She said getting up out of the stall. A rope shot out of her arm and wrapped around my brother, tying the rope around his body so I couldn't move . "But I've got more." Electricity shot down the rope. Hunter quickly cut the rope right before the electricity hit him and freed himself. Hunter ran at the girl and struck her sword with his. "A little angry still?" The employee giggled.
"Listen. I don't know who you are and I know you aren't gonna do anything good with this mech so I can promise that I'll PERSONALLY put you behind bars." Hunter put more pressure on his sword, causing the blade of the female employee's sword to get close to her face.
"We'll see." The girl jumped around Hunter and onto his shoulders and started to strangle him. While choking Hunter quickly did spinjitzu to try to get her off but to no success. Hunter did a pulse of his elemental energy and blasted her off of him. He hunched over to catch his breath back after not being able to breath for a few seconds. Hunter started to turn and before did he saw a metal hand hit him square in the face. He slammed into the wall and fell to the floor unconscious. "I'll admit, you put up a good fight.
Meanwhile I was still looking for the Chief Engineer to talk to. A guest at the party pointed to the chief engineer who was talking to some wealthy business owners about some of his products. The chief engineer was a moderately tall man who looked like he thought very highly of himself from the posture that he had. He had a bushy white mustache and was bald on the top of his head.
I butted in to the circle of people and the group stopped talking and looked at me. "Can we help you young man?" The Chief Engineer asked.
"Who are you?" a woman scoffed.
"My name is Nathan. I'm the Master of Water and also a Ninja."
"Ooo like one of those ninjas who stopped the Overlord before this building was constructed?" She looked with glee.
"No. But I did help stop the Destroyer and him at one point. Have you heard of the Dimension Holders?"
"Is that a band?" a gentleman asked. I gave him a confused look. "No? I thought the Dimension Holders were a band."
"We're not. We're Ninja." A pause fell over the group for a minute. "Anyways, are you the Chief Engineer of Borg Industries" I asked who I was told was the Chief Engineer.
"Yes I am."
"So I was told about a project you tried to create recently regarding a mech. What can you tell me about it?"
"Excuse me one second everyone." The Chief Engineer pulled me aside and got close to me. "How did you hear about that!?" he whispered to me with panic in his eyes and sweat dripping down his face.
"Why does it matter. Tell me about it."
"Borg told you didn't he. I told him not to get anyone involved. Borg thinks that I stole my own project information and am constructing the elemental mech, but he's wrong." The man was sweating bullets. "They file was seconds from being permanently destroyed when it was mysteriously sent to a non-existing system."
"How is that possible?" I asked him.
"I have no idea. The day after the file disappeared the factory somehow started up and constructed the mech. For all Borg and I know an enemy of Ninjago has those plans and is planning on using everyone of you ninja's powers to take over the multiverse."
"Why haven't you warned us that our powers and possibly lives are at risk!?"
"And risk a mass panic in the company!? Listen here kid. If everybody freaks out and leaves the company, this business fails which means Ninjago fails and the economy tanks. Borg Industries is what's keeping Ninjago on its feet after the Golden Ninja defeated the Overlord." The Chief Engineer explained to me.
"Well what can my brother and I do to help stop this "mech problem"?" I questioned the bushy mustached man.
"Your brother is here!?" The Chief Engineer whispered in a violent tone towards me.
"Yeah what's the big deal that he's here?"
"You don't understand boy. Besides the Golden Ninja, this "Creator" as he's referred to as is the second most powerful elemental and the perfect source of energy for this mech."
"Oh...I see. Well then let's get him home and safe away from this mech." I turned to go find my brother but couldn't find him. Suddenly a large crash came from around the bathrooms and a woman screamed. A large mech came claws out first and slowly stood up out of the bathroom into the hallway.
"The mech!" Cyrus Borg and the Chief Engineer shouted in unison.
I had no time to think. I pulled all of the water from the guests drink and brought it over to me where I created an orb of water. "Ninja Go!" I shouted as I shot the water at the mech. The mech did a little double take backwards after it was hit.
A laugh came from inside the mech. "So the Water Ninja is here as well. Are you your brother's only back up? How cute."
"Cute!? I'll show you cute!" I created several knives of water around me and threw them at the mech and watched as they did nothing to the armor of the mech. "That's impossible!"
"The mech is made of vengstone! Your powers will have no affect on it." The Chief Engineer shouted at me.
"Thank's for telling me after two attacks where I use my elemental POWERS!" I scolded the engineer. I pulled out my elemental sword and charged at the mech. The mech raised an arm up and slammed it down at me. I quickly dodged the slam and jumped onto the arm to run up it. "Ninja Go!" My spinjitzu appeared around me and I crashed into the glass where I stabbed my sword into to look at the woman inside. "What did you do with my brother!" The mech grabbed me and my sword and threw us to the ground.
"Don't worry ninja. He's safe." The voice came from the mech. She turned the mech around to show Hunter inside a tank of some sort of liquid. He was strapped inside and had a mask to help him breath around his mouth and nose.
"Oh no. Brother!" I immediately started to worry about my brother.
"He makes a really good battery." She laughed as she pointed a hand of her mech at me and shot a ball of Hunter's orange energy at my feet. I flew back into a table of food. As I was getting up the woman noticed the Chief Engineer. "YOU!" She shouted at him.
"Hello Ms. Tomisuki." The Chief Engineer said. "So you were the one who stole my mech design before I could delete it?"
"Yes. All so that I can get revenge on what you did to my father!" Without hesitation she shot another beam at the Chief Engineer which landed at his feet, sending him back into Cyrus Borg.
The girl notice me getting up and turned to face me. "Say goodbye now Hunter." she said to my brother who lie unconscious in the tank of the mech. "I promise it's the last time you'll ever see your brother again." A darkened tone lay in her voice. She aimed her mech hand again at me. "I won't miss a second time." Suddenly a quick surge of elemental power came from the tank Hunter was in and into the mech's power system. "What the!" She shouted. The mech started to lose it's balance and headed towards a large window in the building. "Oh no." she spoke silently. The mech fell through the building and the woman, Hunter, and mech began to fall down several stories. An orange ball wrapped around the mech and saved it, the girl and my brother as they fell onto several limousines, crushing them.
The mech disappeared around the girl and my brother fell out of the tank. She grabbed him and saw that his and I's vehicles were right next to where they crashed. The girl threw Hunter into his truck. The girl looked up at the broken window and saw me looking down on her. A big smile appeared on her face as she jumped into the truck as well and turned on the ignition. The truck spun around and a portal appeared in front of it. The truck drove into the portal and just like that, my brother, the girl, and the mech were all gone.
I starred in disbelief where the portal had disappeared. "Hunter." I spoke to myself looking into the night sky. I shook my head and stood back up. I turned to Borg and the Chief Engineer as the guests were being escorted out of the building. "Who in the first spinjitzu master was that?" I spoke angrily towards the two.
"That was Shiori Tomisuki" The Chief Engineer said as he lowered his head in anger.
"What's her deal with you?" I asked him.
"Her father used to be my partner. A few years ago, he was killed during a mechanical test on a project we were working on in our lab. Ever since his funeral she has blamed me for his death."
"I see. Now she has my brother, the mech, and now she apparently wants to kill you. Awesome this night has turned out just how I planned." I grabbed my sword off the floor and going towards the elevator.
"Where are you going?" Cyrus Borg asked me.
"To get my brother back."
I reached the bottom floor and entered the vehicle. The comm-link started up on my vehicle and I called "Sensei Wu's Academy". "Thank you for calling Sensei Wu's Academy this is Nya. How can I help you?" It was Nya.
"Hey Nya. It's me Nathan."
"Nathan." The famous Samurai X sounded surprised. "It has been a while. What's up."
"Nothing good that's for sure. I'm at this party in Ninjago City and Hunter was just kidnapped by this woman in a mech and taken to another dimension. I need your help."
"That's terrible. How can I help?" She asked me.
"The girl took Hunter's vehicle and him with it."
"Say no more Nathan, already searching up his location with the tracker in his vehicle." A few seconds passed while I waited for her to tell me where my brother was. "Okay I found him." I was super relieved to hear she knew where he was. "It says here he's in a dimension called "Babysitters club". Sounds pretty weird."
"Yeah it does. Thank's Nya. Are any of you able to help out?"
"I should be able to get Lloyd. It'll be a while though. He'll have to meet you there." Nya told me.
"That's totally fine."
"I also took the liberty of getting into the school closest to where it says his vehicle is, and making you and Lloyd transfer students. Lloyd will bring the school uniforms for he and you when he arrives."
"Okay Nya. Thank's for all your help. I appreciate it."
"No problem Nathan. See you later."
The comms call ended and I leaned back into my seat. I let out a deep breath and leaned back in my jet's seat; looking out the cockpit at the stars. "Enough resting Nathan." I said to myself. I sat up and turned on my jet. "You can rest once you get your brother back." The jet took off and after I got into the air I opened a portal to the dimension that Nya told me Hunter was in with my jet flying straight into it. "Don't worry Hunter. I'm coming to save you."
