I sat on my top bunk bed in Cabin Eleven, one leg propped up as the other dangled off the edge and swung slightly into the bunk below as I flipped through a book that one of the Athena children gave me. My brother, Ethan, swat my leg away, causing me to lift it. "Can you stop that Mako?" He asked me, leaning over and looking up at me.

"Fine grumpy guts." I grumbled. My head turned when I saw someone stumble into the cabin. I closed my book, swinging my legs over the other side of my bunk so I was facing the door. Ethan slipped out from on top of his bead and hoisted himself onto mine, without the ladder.

"Percy Jackson, meet Cabin Eleven." Annabeth said, stepping into the cabin beside him.

"Regular or Undetermined?" Ethan called out.

"Undetermined." I nodded slowly, not that surprising. The rest of the cabin groaned as Luke stepped forward.

"Now, now, campers." Luke said as he shushed everyone, "That's what we're here for. Welcome, Percy. You can have that spot on the floor right over there." Luke pointed to the free space next to mine and Ethan's bunk.

"This is Luke. He'll be your Head Counsellor for now."

"For now?" Percy questioned and I mentally face-palmed.

"Your Undetermined." Luke explained calmly. See, this is why he's Head Councillor. "They don't know what Cabin to put you in so you're here. Cabin Eleven takes all newcomers, all visitors. Naturally, we would. Hermes, our patron, is the God of travellers." Percy looked at his tiny section of floor.

"How long will I be here?"

"Good question. Until your Determined."

"How long will that take?"

"This guy's an idiot." Ethan muttered to me as the Cabin laughed.

"I'll say." I replied in the same hushed tone.

"Come on. I wanna show you the volleyball courts." Annabeth said, stepping up beside Percy.

"But I've already seen them." Percy argued. Annabeth grabbed Percy's wrist and dragged him out of the room.

"Let's see how long this kid lasts." I commented to Ethan.
