Chapter 7
Kacchan vs Deku and Dash
(Theme Song because everything before it is a recap)
Back from the last chapter Dash had her blaster aimed at Kacchan from his back while he was facing Izuku. He crouched down and Dash steadied her blaster.
Kacchan: Even though you're scared… you still try to fight. That's why I hate you!
Iida then called him.
Iida: Bakugo, what is your status?
Kacchan puts his ear to the bud.
Kacchan: Shut up and protect the bomb.
Asui: But we're supposed to work as a team.
Kacchan: Shut up and do as I say!
He then cut off from them.
Dash: Like always never giving out help to his teammates. We have an advantage.
The other students and All Might were in a monitoring room where there are multiple screens monitoring the percipents every move.
Kacchan: What is Bakugo saying? Can't tell with a fixed position and no sound.
All Might: He talks to his partners through a radio in his ear. I gave it to them before the match started.
He then pulls out a roll of tape.
All Might: And a roll of capture tape! Wrapping this around your opponent means you're out for the rest of the game.
Mina: So there's a 15 minute time limit and the good guys have no idea where the bomb is hidden, right?
All Might: Correct!
Mina: So the heros are clearly at a disadvantage! A big one.
All Might: Real Pros have to out with villains on a daily basis. That's life. Even if the odds aren't in our favor, we fight!
Everyone gasped in admiration. All Might then raised up his fist.
All Might: All together!
Everyone: Let's hear a Plus Ultra!
Anyoma: Mincyour, he's on the move.
All Might then turns to the screen.
Back at the building, Kacchan let his hand back to attack and they all noticed.
Izuku: Uraraka, go!
Uraraka nods before running as Kacchan throws a flying kick to Izuku but he blocks it with his arm.
Kacchan: Ballsy move. Think you two can take me alone.
He then notices that Izuku was wrapping his foot with the capture tape.
Kacchan: He's using the capture tape?!
Izuku: Hero Book Number 10: Page 18!
A flashback when Kacchan was wrapped in Izawa badges.
Izuku: Lucky thing I got to see Eraser Head's moves in action. What'll catch on from now he'll be impatient and try another!
Kacchan tried to hit Izuku with an explosion but Izuku quickly dodged out of the way, making him hit the wall.
Izuku: I was right!
Everyone was astonished by his abilities.
Sero: He's holding his own and he hasn't even used his quirk yet!
All Might stared intensely at the screen as he learned about how Izuku fanboy knowledge and learning about heroes.
Izuku was crouching near the smoke where Kacchan is.
Izuku: He kicked this time. He's switching things up so I can't predict his moves. Does that mean he's worried?
Kacchan turned to Izuku with a glare and got ready to attack but then he was kicked to the ground.
Kacchan: What was that?
He turns around seeing Dash with her landing on the ground.
Dash: Forgot about me Pomeranian.
Kacchan clenched his teeth as he turned around, seeing Izuku nowhere to be seen.
Kacchan: UGH!! GET BACK HERE DEKU!!!
He was then shot in the chest by Dash's blaster. Dash put a hand to her ear radio.
Dash: Izuku, you there?
Izuku (Radio): Yeah, I'm here.
Dash: Try to go help with Ururaka. I'll handle Kacchan.
Izuku (Radio): But Dash what if he overpowers you.
Dash: I'll try not to let that happen.
She was then almost made into roast turkey as she did an explosion from Kacchan.
Kacchan: So it's just you and me, huh?
Dash just sent a glare, she activated her quirk making the blue screen pop up but before she could grab a morpher she had to dodge an explosion from Kacchan. He then propelled himself towards her and sent an explosion punch, hitting her back.
Dash: He's not giving me time to morph. I need a plan.
She had to think quickly as Kacchan propelled himself again and she dodge again before running down the hall.
Kacchan: Can't morph when I'm endlessly on the offensive!
Dash turned a corner as Kacchan sent an explosion through it.
Dash: I can't morph with him on my ass.
Kacchan: YOU TWO WILL NEVER BEAT ME! HOW HARD YOU TRY YOU'LL ALWAYS LOSE!!!
Everyone was seeing how Kacchan was going all out on Dash.
Denki: He has some serious anger issues. It's kinda scary.
All Might: Young Midoriya and Nashito said that the boy thinks very highly of himself but this level of pride is something else. It may lead to his demise.
On a screen Kacchan blew through a room door seeing no one in there.
Dash was still running through the building as she heard another explosion coming towards her and she quickly turned a corner.
Dash: Ugh, I just need to morph!
She activates her quirk and tries to quickly grab a morpher when Kacchan pops from the corner and sends an explosion to her face, knocking her back.
Kacchan: You think you'll be able to beat me! Even with any of your forms I'll burn you to a crisp!
Dash was slowly trying to get up as she holds her chest.
Kacchan: You're nothing compared to me. You always be on the bottom while I'm always on top!
Dash then lifts herself to her feet as she sends a glare at the Pomeranian.
Dash: I may not be as strong as you.
She then pulled out her Delta Morpher.
Dash: I can certainly try.
She then brings the morpher to the left of her.
Dash: SPD!
She then brought it in front of her.
Dash: Emergency!
The orange SPD suit appears in front of her as she does a back handspring as the suit materializes onto her. She then looks up and her helmet appears on her head.
Dash: SPD, Orange Ranger!
A police siren blared from her helmet as she then does her battle pose and stands ready for an attack. Kacchan just glares.
Name: Dash Nashito
Quirk: Power Ranger (SPD)
11th Power Ranger: Well looks like Cops and robbers got an upgrade because this gives her a heavy artillery of weapons to her arsenal.
Everyone was astonished over the new transformation.
Kirishima: Whoa! What's that one?
Mina: I don't know but it must be pretty powerful!
Mineta: It's also pretty sexy, seeing how it shows her curves.
He starts drooling over her as everyone just looks at him disgusted.
Kacchan wasn't fazed by the sudden transformation. He just angrily scowled at her with a harsh glare.
Kacchan: You think that you have a suit that's better?
Dash: No, I just even the playing fields. Ha!
They both then run at each other with Kacchan sending an explosion towards her chest. Dash side stepped before grabbing her Deltamax Striker on her belt and a side slashed towards his torso, knocking him back a few feet. She then tried slicing at him again, but he was prepared this time and dodged her attack before using his explosion at the ground to provide distance between them.
Kacchan: Damnit! How does she have this much skill!
Dash kept her guard, knowing he'll attack at any second.
Dash: Can't let him get the jump on me again.
Kacchan leaps at her, using his explosions to propel himself. He threw a punch at her wish she blocked, but Kacchan then sent an explosion at her with his other hand knocking her back and onto her back.
Kacchan: Really think you could beat me?!
Dash rolled onto her feet before equipping the Deltamax Gauntlet to her Striker making the Deltamax Striker Blaster Mode.
He then tried to rush in when he got a foot to the chin before Dash put the barrel to his stomach.
Dash: Fire!
She blasted him into the gut and into the wall, even making it crack on impact.
In the monitor room, people were impressed by this set of skills.
Kirishima: Whoa, she's really giving it her all!
Karamani: She can really hold up her own.
All Might stared at the screen with a proud smile on his face.
All Might: Good job, Young Nashito. The training really paid off.
Back in the building, Dash was heavily breathing as she slightly wobbled.
Me: Ugh, running… low…
Kacchan then slowly got up as he growled.
Kacchan: You think just because you got a few lucky punches that you could beat, huh?!
Dash could barely keep on her feet as she used a lot of energy for the fight.
Dash: I can't keep going on like this. I might demorph if I keep taking his punches.
Dash then turned away and ran away from him as Kacchan yelled at her
Kacchan: COME BACK AND FIGHT YOU COWARD!!!
Dash: Can't fight right now. Maybe I can regroup with Izuku and Uruaka.
Dash kept on running until she was sure Kacchan couldn't catch her. Dash put a hand to ear, trying to call her team.
Dash: Izuku, Uruaka, you there?
Someone then was walking up on her and touched her shoulder making her go into Fight or Flight mode and she chose Fight. She takes out her Deltamax Striker and Gauntlet and attaches them into gun mode.
Dash: Get back, Kacchan!
Izuku: Dash, it's me!
Izuku threw up his hands as Dash had the barrel pointed at his face.
Dash: Izuku! I'm so sorry!
She shared in her gauntlet but kept her Deltmax Striker, ready.
Dash: Wait, I thought you'd be with Uruaka by now.
Izuku: I was, but when I went to radio you in, you weren't picking up so I came back to see if you were ok.
Dash sighs as she takes her blaster apart and put it on her utility belt.
Dash: I kept him at bay for a while but it was no use. He just powered through my attacks.
Izuku: We have to get to Ururaka as soon as possible or we won't win. She must be at the bomb by now, but it'll be a 2 on 1 fight, so we have to get there as soon as possible.
Dash: Yeah, but what are we gonna do with bad issues? He'll scorch us if we even try to leave him.
Izuku puts a hand to his chin when he gets an idea. He then whispered into Dash's ear. She was silent for a little before nodding. They both then go their separate ways.
With Uraraka she has found Iida guarding the bomb but no Tsu in sight.
Uraraka: Found it. Now I just need to tell Deku and Dash and try my best to stay out of sight until they get up here.
She puts a finger to her helmet before she hears Iida talking.
Iida: Bakugo definitely has a villainous side and that is exactly what we need to succeed in the mission. I need to temporarily devote myself to criminal intent.
He then holds his hands up.
Iida: Yes. I won't fail this trial and bring shame to the Iida family name.
He then clenches his fist.
Iida: That means… I have to become evil to be a hero!
He then turned around having the stereotypical villain voice.
Iida: behold! I am the personification of villainy.
This made Ururaka lose her composer and start laughing.
Uraraka: He's so serious!
Iida then turns around.
Iida: Uraraka, is that you?
This made Uraraka flinch as she came out of her hiding spot. Iida, like a typical villain would, points at Uraraka and starts having a monologue.
Iida: I knew you would come here alone while Bakugo ran off to engage with Midoriya and Nashito. Your quirk makes anything you touch float, but I thought ahead.
And he spread his arms wide making her see that everything in the room was gone.
Iida: And he's everything in the room so you can't use anything against us!
Uraraka looked around before having a confused look.
Uraraka: Us?
Tsu then jumped down from the ceiling and used her tongue to grab Uraraka.
Tsu: I've been up there for the past 10 minutes so yeah sorry, ribbet.
Ururaka then pinched on Tsu's tongue making her yell in pain and undoing her tongue. Ururaka then used her quirk on Tsu, making her float and pushed her towards Iida where she undo her quirk, making Iida catch her. She tries to run at the bomb but is immediately denied by Iida rushing in front of her and kicking her back.
Iida: You can keep on trying to be a do-gooder, but my tricks have rendered you helpless. You blundered, hero!
He then does an evil laugh as Uraraka looks on.
Uraraka: He really is playing the part.
Deku was hiding in a corner when Uraraka called.
Ururaka (Radio): Um, Deku?
Izuku: I'm here. How's it going?
Uraraka (Radio): Iida and Tsu know I'm here but right now he's monaloging and keeping Tsu from attacking till he finishes.
Izuku: Where are you?
Uraraka: Near the middle of the fifth floor.
He then looks up seeing he's below the location.
Izuku: Right above me!
The timer says that they only have 10 minutes left on the clock.
Izuku: We probably don't have much time now. We have to finish fast or they win!
Izuku clenched the tape in his hand.
Izuku: I won't give up!
He then stood up ready for when Kacchan came up to him.
Izuku: I can capture Kacchan. I won't lose!
He then hears a sound from Kacchan's gauntlet. He turns around seeing Kacchan standing there, menacingly.
Kacchan: I'm all loaded up.
Izuku: What does that mean?
Kacchan: Why aren't you using your fancy quirk?
Kacchan was glaring at him with a smile, challenging him.
Kacchan: Don't tell me you're scared Deku? Get over here and show me what you're really made of.
Izuku: I have no choice but to face him. Right now!
He stood ready for his attack.
Izuku: Kacchan. I'm not scared of you anymore.
Kacchan growled, clenching his teeth before going back to a smile.
Kacchan: Since you're a stalker, you probably know how my quirk, Explosion works. I secrete nitroglycerin-like sweat and make it blow up. Imagine what I can do with a lot of it.
He cocked the gauntlet back revealing some kind of clip.
Kacchan: That right, these gauntlets aren't just for show. They've been staring up at my sweat inside for a monster blast.
All Might: No, he's taking this too far. Young Bakugo, dont! You'll kill him!
The gauntlet was charged up with the blast.
Kacchan: He'll be fine as long as he dodges!
Kacchan pulls the clip and the explosion bursts through the hallway. It hit Izuku on the head, making him scream in pain.
All Might: Come in, come in, Midoriya!
Izuku was on the ground, his suit tattered with rips and tears. Izuku then slowly got up.
Izuku: Is that even allowed?
Kacchan then started coming out of the smoke laughing.
Kacchan: These things are awesome! The more I sweat the stronger the explosion is. So where is your flashy quirk now!
Iida: Hey! Bakugo was the one who caused that explosion?
Tsu: Must be, he's the only one that would've made that kind of explosion, ribbit.
Uraraka saw this as her chance and jumped for the bomb.
Iida: Since when can she make herself float.
Uraraka: I just got to get close and this will all be over!
Tsu then used her tongue to flip her over as she released and missed her target, making her crash into the wall and Iida quickly moved the bomb away from her reach.
Iida: Admirable attempt, but your quirk is of no use to you if you can't touch anything. We just have to keep the bomb away from you until time runs out!
He then does an evil laugh again as Tsu stands ready.
Uraraka: It's not over, I won't let my team down.
Back with Izuku and Kacchan. Kacchan stood over Izuku, taunting him.
Kacchan: You dodge the attack so you could still attack, come and get me!
Izuku: The attack can also counter me at long range. I'm not safe even when I'm away from him. So what do I do?
He then puts a hand on his radio.
Izuku: What's the situation?
Uraraka: Not good!
Kacchan: Are you ignoring me again? I'll get your attention.
Everyone saw what Kacchan was doing to Izuku and they weren't really atusiatic on what he's doing.
Kirishima: Sir, isn't this getting outta hand? Bakugo is acting really crazy. He's gonna kill 'im!
All Might: Not so.
Flashback
Kacchan was running at Izuku.
Kacchan: I'm gonna hurt you so bad they'll have to stop the fight!
When he was pulling the pin on his gauntlet.
Kacchan: He'll be fine as long as he dodges!
All Might: Despite his fierce posturing, he's not actually trying to kill Midoriya. But still…
He then spoke into his mike.
All Might: Bakugo. Use that stored‐up power again and I'll stop this fight. Your team will lose.
Kacchan flinched and scowled.
Kacchan: Huh!?
All Might: To employ such a strong attack indoors is inviting the destruction of the stronghold you should be protecting. That's a poor strategy, whether you're a hero or a villain. The penalty would be a massive loss of points.
Kacchan growled as his body shook in anger.
All Might : I know that as a teacher, I should stop this fight now. But…
Kacchan growled in anger before setting off explosions leaping at Izuku.
Izuku: The pillar by the window. Get there now!
Izuku gasped seeing that Kacchan was rushing at him.
Kacchan: We'll fight hand‐to‐hand!
Izuku: It's no good. I can't dodge this! I'll have to counterattack! Like this!
He tried to counterattack but Kacchan used his explosion on his arm to dodge it and fire another explosion onto Izuku's back , making him yell in pain.
In the Monitoring Room the students gasped seeing the move.
Kirishima: What was that move?
Todoroki: He doesn't come off as a guy with a strategy. But he's actually quite intelligent.
Mina: Huh?
Kirishima: What're you talking' about?
Todoroki: He changed his trajectory while in midair using a blast that doubled as a smokescreen. Very clever.
Momo: A feint attack like that requires an extreme amount of precision. He had to calculate the physics and demonstrate
control over his Quirk.
Kaminari lazily sighs as he looks back at the screen.
Kaminari: Ugh, Bakugo is uber talented. I hate it.
After the fight, Izuku was back is smoking.
Kacchan: Here it comes, nerd!The famous right hook you were whining about!
He hits Izuku in the arm, making him scream in pain before grabbing his arm.
Kacchan: Deku!
He used his explosions to quickly turn them around before using all his force to slam him on the ground.
Kacchan: Don't you ever forget what you are! You're a weakling!
Izuku: He's not giving me any time to form a strategy. I can't beat him without
a Quirk after all. He's too good.
Izuku: I have no choice. I have to use it.
In the Monitoring room everyone was getting worried and anxious.
Mina: This is hard to watch! All he has to do is wrap tape around him, not kill him.
Tokoyami: Bakugo's certainly acting like a villain.
Karimani: I thought Midoriya was pretty amazing at the start of the fight, but he's completely outmatched in terms of combat power. Not to mention Bakugo must be a natural at all this stuff even when fight Nashito.
Kirishima: Matter a face, where is Dash? She doesn't even seem to be on feed.
All Might was looking the most anxious out of all of them in the room.
All Might: I should end this. But‐‐
Izuku was getting back on his feet, still wanting to win.
All Might: For his sake, I'll let it go on.
Izuku then tried to crawl away to get some distance between him and Kacchan.
Mina: He's running away!
Kirishima: Not very manly, but he
doesn't have a choice. He's outgunned. Unless he's got some kinda plan. It's possible...
Izuku was panting as Kacchan slowly walked towards him.
Kacchan: Why won't you use your damn Quirk against me? Still think you can stop me without it?
Izuku: That's not it.
Kacchan:You've been hiding your true power for years. What's the deal, Deku? Did you think you were better than me this entire time?
Then they both hear something charging up.
?: That's what you think?
Kacchan then turns around seeing a bunch of lasers hit him dead on. He looked up to see the one who fired it was Dash, still in SPD, but now she has some kind of orange shotgun in her hands.
Dash: You've always been better than us in everything. Everything we did, you did better.
Flashback
Little Dash was playing soccer with Little Kacchan and Izuku. She had the ball and tried kicking it in the goal, but it bounced off the rim and hit her in the face. Izuku quickly ran up to her as Kacchan grabbed the ball.
Izuku: Are you ok, Dash?
Dash: Yeah I'm fine. It just stings.
Kacchan comes over, dribbles the ball.
Kacchan: Wow, that was the worst kick ever, Dash. Let me show you how it's done.
He kicked the ball up and shot it in the goal with ease.
Dash: Whoa, that was awesome Kacchan!
Kacchan: Heh, likewise, better than your awful kick.
Izuku: You don't have to be so mean, Kacchan.
That didn't faze Dash as she just got up.
Dash: But he's right Izuku. That is why I have to practice to get better. I'm gonna be as great as him someday.
Dash hugged Kacchan as he smirks and pats her on the head.
Kacchan: You can try, but you'll never be as good as me.
Flashback End
They couldn't see it but Dash was crying slightly.
Dash: I used to always want to be as good as you because you were stronger, faster, and even smarter than me.
Izuku: That's why we want to beat you because you're so amazing!
Kacchan growled and glared at her.
Kacchan: You're two even more of an idiot than I realized. Come at me!
Both Izuku and Dash lunged at him with all their force.
All Might: The only other time I hear that much passion in their voice is when they talk about being a hero. In order to achieve their dream, they have to do this. Not for me, but for themselves!
Kacchan used his explosions both ways making them have to quickly dodge to the left. Kacchan blasted an explosion their way, but Dash grabbed Izuku and used her shotgun to boost them right over the explosion and angled herself where she shot at Kacchan backside. Kacchan stumbled over and turned around.
Kacchan: What is that?
They both landed onto the ground as Dash stood with her blaster at the ready.
Dash: My Deltamax Striker Shotgun Mode! Able to deal with people like you in close range!
She charged up a blast as Kacchan rushed at her before she shot a blast at him, making him use his explosion to block it. Then out of the smoke Izuku came out of it.
Izuku arms charge up with One For All as Kacchan hand smokes with him ready to send an explosion.
Izuku:Detroit...
Kacchan: They're gonna kill each other! Sir!
All Might was thinking to stop the fight or let them continue before he made his choice.
All Might: Both of you, stop‐‐!
He was then interrupted by Dash.
Dash: Uraraka, now!
Ururaka then grabbed a pillar.
Uraraka: Right!
Tenya gasped while TSU was deeply confused.
Tsuyu: What's going on?!
As Izuku and Kacchan came to clash Dash slid under with her Deltamax Striker and pointed at the ceiling between them.
Izuku: Smash!
Instead of doing a regular punch, Izuku did an uppercut to the ceiling as Dash charged up and shot up, making the ceiling quickly break with the air pressure as the windows broke due to air pressure.
Iida: What's happening?
Uraraka used her quirk on the now broken pillar, making it Light enough to hold.
Uraraka: This is it! Sorry, Iida, Tsu! Improvised special move: The Comet Home Run!
She swung the pillar at all the flying debris, making them fly at Iida and Tsu.
Iida: In the name of villainy, I demand that you stop this!
They both the sea Ururaka jump over them. Tsu then tries to use her tongue to catch her.
Uraraka: Release!
She then fell onto the bomb winning the game for the heros.
Uraraka: I got it!
Iida: No! The weapon!
Tsu: Oh man...
Kacchan was shaking in anger as looked through the broken ceiling.
Kacchan: This was your big plan...from the very beginning, wasn't it? You were playing me this entire time, you bastards.
Izuku:I wasn't... going to use it
As the smoke clears he sees the Izuku arm is broken.
Izuku: Because I can't control it.My body just can't handle… the backlash of my power yet. Mr. Aizawa said I'd be useless. But this was all… that I... could think of. This is the only way… I had any chance at winning.
Izuku then let down his arm as he was then starting to fall as Kacchan just stared. Dash got up from the ground, seeing that her visor was broken, revealing her blue, plus like eyes.
All Might: You did it. The hero team...
Dash caught Izuku before he fell to the ground.
All Might:WINNNNNNSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
Dash looked at the now unconscious Izuku as she finally demorphed.
Dash: Looks like your plan worked.
The End
Speed: Now that's how you end a chapter with a bang. I loved writing this chapter due to how emotional it was. I had to rewrite this about four different times but I think this one will satisfy me. I'm sorry I haven't written in awhile, I had something going on with my personal life, but i'm back. Also the Deltamax Striker Shotgun Mode was applied by one of my friends. So thank you for the new weapon idea from him.
Lizzy: Now that's out of the way. It's time for a sentimental moment between three former friends in
Bakugo Startline
