"So this is Raquel, huh? The Enterraining City?" Ragna asked, looking around.
Juna nodded. "Mmhm. It's been two months already, but this place looks just as busy as ever. I guess we should start asking for clues about the singularity."
"There are too many soldiers however." Jin said.
"We need to blend in to avoid being spotted. So As-" Levi turned his head and the group see Ash put on a disguise with a brown hair wig and glasses. "...Oh. I was going to say the hoodie but that also works. But where did you get those?"
"What, the wig and glasses? Found 'em at a store back at the village." Ash answered. "Better than Schwarzer's disguise, ain't it?"
"It's effective, but that doesn't mean the rest of us won't be recognized. Anyways, let's gather info on this place."
"I know a good place. Come on." Ash said, walking pass the two guards who are minding their own business as people are minding their own too as they go into Decken Pub and Diner.
"Oh, this is a good spot." Ryker nodded.
"Well Ash does love to come here from time to time." Venti nodded before the woman behind the counter spotted them.
"Oh, welcome! just the twelve of you? Please sit wherever you..." The woman then blinked at the group. "Oh! You!" Then she look relief. "For goodness sake, why do you always pop up so SUDDENLY?!"

"Well that ended quickly..." Ares sweatdrop.
"Well, I'm glad you're back safe. Welcome home Ash."
"Heh, you never change." Ash replied.
"Who's this?" The chef turn around along with a boy before the chef gasp. "Wait, it can't be..."
"Haha! Seriously!" The boy laugh as they gather up.
"You had us worried there, Ash." The owner name Morley said as she hug Ash before letting go. "You were falsely accused of being a Calvardian spy. But now you're back with your friends. I'm sure your mom led you to them."
"Hmph, I guess..." Ash replied.
Juna frowned. "Ash, just tell them how you really feel."
"This woman and your friends really believed in you." Kurt added
"Seriously, would it kill you to be grateful to them?" Venti complained
"Honestly, I was worried they might call the authority on us." Ragna sighed. "You really gave us a heart attack there."
"Sorry about that friend." Morley wave her hand.
"I guess that disguise didn't work if they can tell who you are." Jin fold his arm.
"Well that's because we know as since he was a kid. There's no way you would do that." The chief name Silew told them with a smile.
"Heh, I dunno." The young man fold his arm with a smug look on his face. "I can see Ash pulling off a double life as an assassin."
Ash smirked. "I'm going to take that as a compliment."
"So we got punk one and punk two. It's fitting for Ash to make friends with punks."
"And shouldn't you count yourself as one?" Ryker asked.
"Do I look like some punk?"
"Do you really want us to ask that question?" Juna sweatdrop.
"If I can get everyone's attention, I hear your instructor has gone missing. Things must be tough for all of you." Morley said.
"Well, that part is undeniable. So far we're gathering information. So has anything changed around here?" Venti asked.
"Changed? Well, we've had a lot more tourists." Silew answered. "And some of them look a bit more well-off than our regular clientele."
"Well-off?" Shez asked
"Yes, some of them come in with those nice suits and expensive dresses. I think I heard something about them coming from Ordis by limousine to hold meetings or something. I'm not sure." Morley explained
Kazuha hummed. "It's possible they could be merchants or nobles But why are they here?"
"Don't know, If you're going to sneak around, you better be careful." The young man warned. "We don't know who's looking where after all."
"Hm?" Levi glanced at the young man, who also glanced at him was Jin, Ryker and Kazuha.
"Heh, I don't need you giving me advice." Ash remarks "Once we've got the intel we're after, we're outta here. I came all this way to see you, so stop standing around looking sad, got it?"
"Thanks Ash." Morley smiled. "Keep up the good work with your classmates."
"We will. Thank you." Juna smiled as they left the diner. "Aren't you glad your friends didn't give up on you?"
"Heh... Sure am." Ash said with a soft smile.
"Hold it." Jin called out to them. "Did any of you heard what that brat said?"
"Brat?" Altina asked.
"He mean Ash's punk friend. He said "We". Ryker explained.
"Um... yeah? What about it?" Juna asked.
"Has Levi or your Instructor failed to teach you some awareness and instinct?" Jin sighed. "Who do you think he's referring to?"
"The owner and the chef, right?"
"No. I don't think it's them." Levi shook his head. "He must be talking about someone else."
"I agree. I don't know why but I don't trust that one in particular ." Kazuha nodded.
"He did seem suspicious, however." Altina agreed.
"You guys go continue gathering intel. I'll go see what is he up to." Jin said as he walk away.
"I'll join you." Ryker said as he follow him.
"Hmm... Jin might be right." Ragna nodded and turn to the others. "Come on." He said as they took off to Hermit Bar and Inn.
"Let's go talk to the woman in the counter. She might give us some info." Shez said as they approach the counter. "'Scuse us."
"Hm?" The girl turn to them before turning to Ash. "Oh!"
"Hey. Long time no see." Ash said.
"Me, my! If it isn't Ash. Always showing up unannounced." She replied. "It's good to see that you really were okay after all, I'm glad."
"You're awfully calm about this." Levi raised an eyebrow. "Almost like you knew we would come here."
"Ah well, that's because a certain someone passed on the information to me. She said she'd been contacted by a classmate in Milsante."
"Who?" Venti asked
"She's waiting for you on the second floor. I'll show you."
The group look at each other before nodding and follow her and went up the stairs to a room where she knock.
"Please come in." A voice said to them.
'That voice...' Levi thought as they go right in and see Maya with her Oricorio Sensu style, Makuhita, Meditite
"Heh. Knew it was you." Ash said.
"Meditite!"
"Maku!" Maya's Pokemon cried.
"Ash, everyone. Welcome, I'm so glad you're safe." Maya replied. "Sidney contacted me and let me know. I'm so happy to see you all in person! But... Weren't there suppose to be twelve of you?"
"They left to check on something." Levi explain. "While they'll be busy, why don't we exchange info."
"Of course. I'm guessing why I'm here in Raquel. It's because it's connected to my father who is a regular here." Maya said. "Julia happily let me have a room to stay in. I originally came thinking my father might be here, but it seems he hasn't been coming by lately. I'm glad he's not drinking, but I did hear he was contacted by the military division he used to belong to."
"Was it the formal sniper, Captain Joseph?" Altina asked "I believe I saw that name in the database. If the military requested him to return, it's likely they also had him promoted. On that note, do you know what happened to Leonora and the others? I heard you came together."
"Gustaf, too. His mining town shouldn't be that far away from here." Ash added
"I heard Sandy's from Lamare, too! Alster specifically, I think." Juna also added
"Alster... That's name familiar..." Levi hummed
"Yes. Those two headed to their hometowns past the northern canyons. Leo went to Ordis, where she has a contact, to gather intel. There have also been sightings of a mysterious reddish-black flower in the Canyon Road area." Maya answered
"Could that be Pleroma Grass?" Kurt asked.
"It seems very likely." Altina replied. "So Leonora is in Ordis, the capital of Lamare province."
"And Musse's hometown is Ordis. We visited there before during our field exercises." Levi nodded. "Do you have anything else on the state of affairs there?"
"According to Leo, collecting information in Ordis is pretty tough at the moment. There's the security details set up by Governor Regnitz, who was just appointed as the interim supervisor. And to make matters worse, there's also the 3rd Armored Division that is currently stationed at Juno Navel Fortress."
"Machias's father and the Third Armored Division..."
"One-Eyed Zechs, my uncle, is in charge of that division." Kurt sighed.
"We met the governor during our field exercises, but Kurt's uncle?" Juna asked
"He's one of the top three commanders of the Imperial Army- and the one who fought General Le Quin during the civil war." Altina explained. "If both of those men are in Lamare, it will be very difficult for our current group to go to Ordis."
"Well, that sucks." Venti sighed
"Dammit. This would've been a great chance to get some info, but..." Ash muttered
"Right, going to Ordis and the naval fortress for info will put us in a very dangerous situation." Levi said. "We'll need to stay away from both of those places for now. Thanks for the info, Maya."
"It's nothing... I just wish I could have been of more help. I'll try contacting Ordis to see if I can obtain any information on the singularity or Instructor Rean." Maya replied. "If I find anything, I'll be sure to let you know. I wish you the best in your efforts as well."
"Thanks you, miss Maya." Kazuha smiled.
"Things are looking tough for all of us, but let's do our best. As fellow branch campus students."
"And with that, let's continue everyone." Levi said as they leave Maya's room and the Inn. "Okay, where do we go next?"
"Well, there is one place that can help." Ash said as he begin to take them to the Chapel of Raquel, where they go to a small room where they see a sister praying. "Hey. All that mopin' around ain't like you."
"Huh?" The sister turned around to face the group. "A-A-A-A-ASH?! It's... It's such a relief to see you. I can't tell you how worried I was! I heard this nasty rumor that you'd been arrested for something terrible, and I don't know what to think!"
"All right, all right, simmer down..." He sighed. "But that rumor you heard? It wasn't a rumor, I did shoot the emperor."
"Wha- you dumbass! The hell's wrong with you? You don't just blabt that out to her like it mean nothing!" Ragna scolded.
"...That's all right. We know you." The sister said. "There must have been other circumstances. Besides, no one is beyond redemption. Think of how far you've already come. You can atone for your sins. I believe in you. You may not be perfect, but you have a good heart, Ash. You're a good person." She said with a smile, even Ash was surprised by that.
"Hehe. Guess the closest people really do get you huh?" Shez whispter.
"Ugh... Don't you all get sappy with me now." Ash muttered.
"Heh. Get used to it." Ragna said with a small grin. 'It's better for you, kid.'
"Anyway, It looks like a few things have been rising up around here after the Great Twilight happened."
The Sister nodded. "It's true... People starting fighting all over the city. A strange wind blew, and these odd red and black flowers started blooming everywhere. The violence ended fairly quickly, but the eerie atmosphere has loomed over the city ever since. Even with the hustle and bustle from the increasing number of tourists, it feels like there's a darkness hanging over all of us."
"Yes. That's exactly how I felt the moment I step into Erebonia." Kazuha nodded.
"And from the other towns too." Shez added.
"Perhaps the short breather before the draft, was merely the calm before the storm." Kurt added.
"Yeah. Glad there isn't any other storms going around." Shez nodded. "Thanks for the info."
"You take care of yourself, Olfa." Ash said
Olfa giggled "I'll make sure I do."
The group leave the chapel as they begin to head to a quiet spot to discuss.
"It wasn't too difficult to gather information this time, given how busy of a town this is." Altina said.
"Yeah! And I'm glad things went over well for you, too. Ash." Juna smiled "You've still got a lot of people here that trust in you. That's got to feel good, right?"
"Meh, it's not like anyone would believe I was a Calvardian assassin anyway." Ash answered "But, there is somethin'..."
"About your punk friend?" Ragna asked
"Yeah. I don't see your little brother or that Ryker guy yet."
"Hmm... I'm worried about them. Do you think something happen?" Ares asked
"Not likely. Jin tough. He can handle himself." Ragna answered
"I should say the same to Ryker. Stealth and being mystery is his specialty."
"All right. Let's go over what we got so far." Shez said.
"Right. The information Maya gave us concerning. I'm honestly tempted to get in touch with my uncle at the naval fortress." Kurt replied
"I understand how you feel Kurt. However, I have to oppose that." Levi shake his head. "Security around Ordis is rigorous. We'll get caught immediately before we ever get the chance to meet with the general. Despite your ties as a Vander."
"You're right. It's too risky."
"Besides, we really should be prioritizing finding the singularity." Altina nodded. "Sandy and Gustaf reported something that looked like Pleroma Grass in the north. It may be wise to follow up on that."
"We're gonna waste a lot of time if it turns out that's not the place." Ash added
"Oh, wait! I think I've got it!" Juna said as she got out the pendulum.
"Roselia's pendulum?" Altina asked
"That's right. Rose said we can use it to find any singularities." Levi nodded "Think of it as a dowsing rod or a diving rod, if you know as it is."
"Dowsing rod?" Juna asked.
"It's like a type of divination employed in attempts to locate groundwater, buried metals or ores, gemstones, etc, etc. A Y-shaped twig or rod, or two L-shaped ones—individually called a dowsing rod. Think of it a detector and tell us which way to go."
"Oh, I get it now."
"I can't tell if you're making this crap off." Ash comment.
"If I was, then how did I explain it in full detail?" Levi shot back.
"Touche."
Then suddenly a reaction happened as the pendulum glow.
"We look at that." Levi smirked
"You've got to be kiddin' me."
"Levi, you're right on the mark." Juna giggled before all of them felt a breeze going northeast to where the canyon road was.
"So we have to go northeast?" Altina asked
"Look like it! Let's get moving!"
"Wait, Did you forgot Jin and Ryker were with us?" Ragna asked."They're taking their time."

"Well excuse us then." Jin said as he and Ryker appeared as they both push two people onto the ground. It was the same punk from before and the shady character.
"Oof!" Both of them grunted.
"Huh? Isn't that your friend?" Juna asked
"And that informant." Levi glared at him.
"We were right to keep an eye on this kid. He was informing this guy here and plan to tell some company on us." Ryker explained to them.
Juna gasped. "They what?!"
Levi snapped his finger to create a soundproof barrier around them.

"Nngh. Damn. I didn't think they would follow..." The Young Man grumbled.
"Well... Hehe..." The Informant got back on his feet. "Well... Um... Hey Ash! Long time-" Levi suddenly punch the Informant on the face before kneeing his gut. "AAGH!" He fell onto the ground and the group was shocked.
"You both got some nerve planning to alert the authority on us." Levi gave the boy a glare. "For the boy. I'm very disappointed in you. For you to sold out Ash to this trash. It makes me how I'm going to punish you."
"Eep!" The Young Man fell on his butt and shivered, wanting to get away but Jin and Ryker block his way.
"Levi don't you-"
"Nah, let him." Ash interrupted Juna.
"And as for you, you disgusting pig." Levi glared at the Informant with a death glare who kicked his face to knock him up his back and then stomp his stomach.
"Aaaah!" The Informant screamed in pain, coughing off his blood.
"I have been meaning to give you more than a mere punch in the stomach. But I ask my colleagues and friends to do that. It's rather unfortunate they couldn't make you pay for what you did a month ago. But on the bright side, I can do it for you. But now since you once again causing us trouble... I will give you more than just a broken nose." He said, turning to the punk. "As for you brat. Although I'm not interested in hurting you. I will at least give you a warning." Levi then gave him an intimidation as the punk see a frightening aura. "Do this stunt again. I will not hesitate to harm you. Do. I. Make. Myself. Clear." He raised his head with an intimidating look.
"EEEEEEKKK!" The brat then goes into a begging position. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Don't kill me! Please!"
"How about apologizing to Ash? And never do this again. And I will consider it."
"I-I'm sorry Ash! I swear I won't do this again!"
"As for you." Levi removed his leg, grabbed the Informant, and repeatedly punched him all over his face, giving him two black eyes, and a broken nose, then dropped him on his knees grabbed his arm, and broke it by kneeing it.
"AAAAAAH!" The Informant screamed as Venti covered Altina's eyes from the sight.
"I'll let you live, you piece of trash. But if you ever pulled another crap again. You'll forfeit your very life." Levi threatened the Informant and then he kicked him in the guts and then he passed out. "Phew! Man, I wanted to do that ever since he pissed me off!" Levi cheered while the group sweatdrop. "Sorry, you guys have to see that. But trash like him deserves it." Then he glared at the boy. "As for you. I expect you to keep your mouth shut. If you don't want to end up like him. I suggest you do as I say. Am I clear?"
"Y-Yes sir!" The Young Man shivered in fear as he nodded. "I swear I won't talk!"
'I don't trust his word so I better cast a spell on him and that trashy informant to prevent them from talking.' Levi thought as he snapped his finger, and the spell was place as a faint aura surrounded the punk and the informant. "Now go."
The Punk then took off in fear as he tripped, got back on his feet, and then took off again.

"Dumbass." Ash sighed. "Had a feeling this trash is planning on sellin' us to the government like that. But damn, you don't hold back, don't ya? I like that way of yours."
"Well, he's ruthless to anyone who puts him in deep anger." Altina said. "So I shouldn't be surprised. But why were you covering my eyes." She turn to Venti,
"Oh trust me. You don't want to see how he broke that guy's arm." Venti said.
"It's exactly as Altina said. But just so you know. I won't do that to anyone unless they deserve it. The scum here is an example. But I am sorry you all witnessed that." Levi sighed. "Normally I would do the same thing as Rose on what she did with Rean. But I was caught up in wanting to punch this son of a bitch that I forgot. Sorry, you witnessed an unprofessional scene."
"It's cool man. I like it in fact." Ash said
"You're pretty scary though." Juna said.
"Indeed. But are you certain it was wise of you to let him go?" Kurt asked.
"Don't worry, I cast a spell on him to prevent him from talking about what happened just now." Levi wink. "Still, it is rather unprofessional of me regardless. I shouldn't expose this to you guys. It would cost me my job."
"Hardly any of that matters man." Ash told him. "We're already hidin' from the Chancellor and school is basically canceled."
"Huh, when you put it that way, I guess that's true." Juna mused.
"Heh. It's without question this scumbag got what he deserve. Karma is a bitch." Ragna smirked.
"So you guys wouldn't mind, keeping me around?" Levi asked.
"Why are you asking that? You are our Class Assistant." Altina said.
"We all know you by now and it's understandable." Venti added
Levi sighed with relief and smiled at them. "Thanks guys. I'm truly glad you guys are okay with this. But don't tell anyone, okay? It'll be our little secret."
"I question whether you are fit for this position but it's none of my business." Jin said.
"Jin, just shut up. He obviously is. Anyway, enough about that. Shouldn't we head off?" Ragna asked.
"Yeah, let's get going." Levi nodded as the group begin to move out from the alleyway and then headed to the canyon road, but they bump into someone along the way. "Wait, is that?"
The group spotted a well-dressed noble show up, he had long purple hair chatting with Rex.
"Oh, that's Rex!" Juna said
"But who's that guy with him?" Shez asked.
Rex's Aipom spotted the group. "Aipom, pom, pom!"
Rex and the other guy turn to him.
"Oh! Well look who it is!" The Nobleman greeted as he and Rex approached them.
"Hye there guys! How ya been?" Rex asked.
"We're doing okay. I'm surprised to see you both here." Levi said.
"Just as we are to you, Levi." The nobleman replied. "It's good to see you and I trust you are well? And I take it these are the New Class VII I heard so much about?"
"They are." Levi nodded, turning to the group. "Guys, meet one of Thors Graduates. Vincent. He's Ferris's older brother."
"Oh now I see why your hair was familiar." Kurt said. You are Vincent Florald, yes."
"Correct. I am indeed Vincent Florald! The eldest son of Count Florald, a proud Thors alumnus, and consummate hunter of love!"
"Hunter... to live?" Ryker tilt his head.
"Yeah, you'll have to forgive him. He can be... colorful." Levi sweatdrop.
"Colorful? You wound me, Levi." Vincent groaned. "But no. Never mind that. It's good that you're here. But let's discuss this elsewhere away from prying eye. Please, follow me." He said as everyone nodded as they took off back to the Inn where they go up the stairs and go into one of the rooms to discuss.

"All right. Now that we are in a safe place, please allow me thank you New Class VII for helping my dear sister. It was much appreciated." Vincent said
"No problem. Glad we can help." Levi nodded "And it's good to see you haven't change at all. You as well Rex."
"Yeah. I woulda loved a chance to chat with both you guys and Margarita." Rex smiled.
"I see... so that's another reason why you were there covering Titis Gate, then." Kurt said
"So that part about Vivi, as well as the request for scenery pictures, were because you already knew about us." Altina added
"Yeah, I'd heard about you all from her before, and it just kind of clicked." Rex nodded
"Clicked huh? That's one way to put it." Levi said. "Before you ask. The answer is still no."
"How did you know I was gonna ask!?"
"It's literally written on your face. You're pretty much readable considering I know you."
"Man... Just how many weirdos do our Instructor and Mr. Popular here friends with?" Ash sighed
"Margarita certainly was a unique individual as well." Altina nodded
"Hehe. You say it like it's a bad thing." Levi chuckled. "Anyway, we're all connected here because of Rean."
"Of course, there are some who broke that connection to walk a different path, just as Kleist did." Vincent nodded
Levi sighed "Yeah, I couldn't believe the way he acted just then."
"It cannot be help it seems. I pray Hugo does not fall down to the wrong path." Vincent sighed. "But in any case. Much like the others, we're all concerned for the situation with Rean. As well as another one in particular."
"By any chance, are you talking about Musse? Or rather Mildine?" Levi asked.
"Yes. I'm sure you heard this from Jusis or my pride rival, Lady Angelica about the Weissland Army."
"We have yes. However, Musse's army cannot go against the numbers of the Imperial army." Levi sighed. "With the National Mobilization Law in effect, more soldiers from civilians are increasing those numbers. We find Musse and soon. We need to tell her to stop. What's she trying to do will only lead to thousands of lives lost! Including her own. Even with Principal Le Quin and Brigadier General Bardias at her side. They won't stand a chance."
"You're right." Jin fold his arm.
"Either way, we're going to get her back." Juna said. "Just like with getting Instructor Rean back, we have business with Musse. For her to just part ways like that. The talk we need to have is with Musse Egret, specifically. Not lady Mildine-whats-her-name!"
"Phew, you all are way too much. Even more than I'd heard." Rex said. "Rean's got some interesting students for sure."
"You know it, Rex. They've grown up quite a lot, but there's a lot more to do." Levi replied. "All right, we better get ready to leave Raquel. Vincent, Rex, keep in touch with us in case you hear anything.
"Indeed. I shall forward you of any matters that may be of concern. As well as to find the missing alumni, my sister, and Rean." Vincent replied.
"I'll keep digging for info as well. Still gotta find Vivi after all." Rex added.
"Got it. Let's go everyone." Levi said as they nodded and took off the Inn as Vincent and Rex took the Orbal Limo and ran off.

"All right. The pendulum is swinging towards the northeast. So we sure make way there." Levi said
"I believe Sandy and Gustaf's hometowns are both in that direction." Altina added
"There's also a chance we will see Gustaf and Sandy again too. If we're lucky that is." Levi nodded but noticed Ash was thinking. "Is there something on your mind, Ash?"
"Nah. So you're talkin' about Alster and the Aragon Mines, right? They're pretty far apart." Ash answered. "Well, the good news is we have the horses with us. Still, that's one hell of a trek no matter which way we start out. Better make sure we're all ready to go before we get out of here."
"Isn't this alley leads to Ash's home, right?" Venti whispered to his classmates and Levi.
"You're right. We haven't visited it either." Levi nodded in a whisper before stretching his arms, turn his head to the valley and then turn to Ash. "Before we go. Why don't we visit your home?"
Ash look surprised. "I don't see how that will help but fine."
"Your home is here?" Shez asked
"Yeah. Follow me." Ash said, guiding the group on the way to his home, the Liberty Height Apartment and then toward his apartment room.
"Huh. Nice place you got." Ryker said.
"Thanks." Ash replied
"Oh. I see there are two bed here. Who else lives here?" Kazuha asked
"My mom. But she died away back when I was little. Brain tumor got her." Ash answered
"Oh..."
"So you live here by yourself?" Ragna asked
"Yeah but mom and her pals look after me."
"Come on. Let's get some fresh air in here." Juna said with a smile as she approached the window and then open it.
"It seems like somebody's been cleaning regularly, so it should be fine to just do some light dusting." Kurt nodded.
"I'll get a damp cloth." Altina said.
"Hey, no need for that." Ash said.
"Aw, don't be like that." Venti chuckled as the group ignore him and then begin to help tity up the place, leaving Ash to sigh.

"So it's true 'bout your Mom, Ash?" Shez asked
"Well, my adopted Mother, yeah. I actually told this to a few guys back in that place called Twilight Town." Ash answered
"Oh? Who was it?" Ryker asked
"It was that spiky hair freak, Lea. Mona, Delicate Lissa, Elliot, his girlfriend, Dedede, and that green-haired chick is Lyn before we headed off to the Keyblade War." Ash answered. "But I haven't told anyone this, but back this, this old merchant brought me here at night. He decided to leave me with some chick that worked at a club he was always hanging around in. I don't remember what he was like. But my old that's just as strange for taking me in at his request."
"But I think she must be a good mom to you, right?" Ares asked.

"Have you started to remember anything about your family in Hamel?" Kurt asked.
"No." Ash shook his head. 'I was just three. The only things I remember were shouting and screaming. I vaguely remember there was this older guy and some brat there, too, but..."
"The Orphans of Hamel..." Altina place her hand on her cheek. "From what I've gathered, there seemed to be have two others besides you. However, one died three years ago. "
"Guess so. I can't even remember their names." Ash shrug. "But that doesn't matter. This is my home. But now that I've committed this crime, I can't show my face."
"Please. I've done things worst." Ragna wave his arm to brush it off. "Compare to shooting the Emperor, I've done a lot of things back in my old world. But hey, You still got a chance to make things better."
"Yeah, at least to the point where I can face my old hag and everyone else." Ash replied before he stood up. "All right, that's enough. Let's start heading for the northern canyon road."
"All right." Kazuha nodded as he got up before noticing the picture frame near the desk. "Oh." He approaches it. "Is this you?"
"Damn! This is your mom? She's hot!" Shez said.
"Are you sure you should say that to your boyfriend who's literally next to you?" Ragna asked.
"It's fine. I honestly agree with him on this." Kazuha said.
"Why not take the photo with you Ash?" Levi suggest.
"Well, might as well." Ash said as he begin to take the picture and then they headed out.

As the group leave the apartment and walk into down, Levi spotted an Imperial soldier sitting on the bench.
"Hm?" Levi thought.
"Levi, what's up?" Venti asked
"Doesn't that soldier look depressed to you?"
"Huh, you're right. Want to check it out?" Juna asked
"Wha- wait, are you guys crazy? He's an enemy soldier!" Ragna stated
"Be that as it may, we can't ignore is someone is in trouble." Levi told him. "It's kinda our things."
"Oh god. We ditch him." Ragna said. "It can also be a trap."
"If it is, then, you can leave me to fix that problem." Levi said with a smile. "Don't worry, you can just stay here and watch if you like."
"We really don't have time for this farce." Jin pinch his nose as New Class VII, Shez and Kazuha approach the soldier.
"You feeling okay there?" Levi asked
"Oh." The solder look up at them. "Hello there. Can I help you with something? Wait, is this about Stan again?! What has he done?!"
"Stan, who?" Venti asked.
"He's my friend. If you haven't heard then phew..." The soldier sighed.
"Riiight... sure." Juna nervous smile "So you don't mind if we ask you a few questions?"
"Sure. Go ahead. My name is Chris." The Solder smiled. "I will say, though. I know this uniform I've for might give you some ideas, but I'm just a new recruit. My best friend, Stan, also joined the army with me. We came to take a breather here. Problem is, he's been acting really weird lately. Ever since we got here, he's been causing all kind of problems." He groaned. "I mean, back where we grew up, he always was confident and not the type to go down, but he never bothered anyone."
'Sounds like the curse.' Levi thought.
"I really want to snap him out of this already... it's just..." Chris then stopped. "Ah, I'm sorry. I shouldn't be bothering strangers with my problems, huh? But I've got to do something about it myself at least. He's one of my best friends after all."
"Well, if you like, we'll be glad to help." Juna smiled.
"Oh that's very kind of you and all, but I don't think there's anything in it for you guys to help me." Chris said.
"Ah don't worry about it. There isn't anything in return." Venti smiled. "We're just doing this out of the kindness of our hearts."
"Plus Raquel's my hometown. Last thing I want is some rowdy asshole messni' up the place." Ash added
"Ah... I am really sorry about that." Chris sighed. "I really don't know what happened to him. Maybe if you all speak to him, he'll realized what he's doing is wrong."
"No problem. We'll go see this guy." Shez smiled
"Haha... Seems like I can really count on you guys." Chris smiled. "I'm really sorry for the hassle, but your help might just be the only way to fix this."
"So where is your friend?" Ares asked.
"Stan should be in the casino right about now. He has this big grin on his face last time I saw him, yelling. 'Jackpot! Jackpot! Here goes nothing!"
"I can already smell the trouble in the air." Altina sighed.
"Then let's cut the chattin' and get movin'!" Ash said as they took off to the Casino where they were greeted by two girls with rabbit headband
"Welcome!" Both of them greeted.
"Who cares about all the and stuff happening in the world? Come have some fun and gamle those worries away!"
"Just remember this is a private paradise for members only~"
"I can't let any of you beautiful folks in without seeing a membership card first."
"Ah I remember this place." Levi said. "I should have my membership with me."
"Plus it also a good place to get some info, right?" Ash asked
"Hmm... You have a point. But you better not think about gambling mister." Levi told him. "Here. This is my membership." He hand over his membership card.
"Okaydokie then!"
"Go right ahead!" The two girls hopped in cheer as they move away and they go right in.
"Okay, so this stand guy should be wearing an imperial uniform, right?" Shez asked. "Let's look around." He said as they split up from bottom and upstairs but couldn't find him as they regroup. "Huh. He doesn't seem to be here."
"Hmm... Let's ask the staff about him." Kazuha suggest as they talk to the gentleman.
"Hello. Welcome to Alisha. Is there anything I can help you with?" He asked
"Actually, there is something we want to ask you. Have you seen an Imperial solder who came in here, looking aggressive lately?" Altina said
"One has indeed. He left just a short while ago."
"Guess we missed him." Ryker said.
"Hah. Managed to flushed all his military money down the toilet by playing like an idiot, I'm guessing?" Ash asked.
"I don't know the full story, but I know he was losing rather badly. He played slots for awhile. He was shouting and making a scene the whole time. Once he began beating on the machine, we had to ask him to leave for the day."
"That... doesn't seen surprising." Ares sighed. "So where he is?"
"I saw him heading in the direction of the theater. As he was storming out, he said something about seeing a play to lift his spirits."
"Oh that's next door isn't it?" Venti wondered. "Thanks for the help."
"Okay, let's go-Ash." Levi grabbed Ash's hood as he was gonna sneak out. "Where do you think your going?"
"Oh for- How were you able to tell?!" Ash grumbled as the others sweatdrop and leave the Casino.
They headed to the whether next where they see a staff talking to two people.
"Excuse me. Sorry to bother you." Levi said.
"Can I help you? As you may see, I'm quite busy at the moment." The staff said
"Relax it won't take long. Have you seen an imperial solder who look aggressive pass by?"
"Ah, we did just have a patron who was... difficult, in a word. He came to our theater, and thought he was above paying the ticket price. He screamed at us that soldiers deserve special treatment, and should be granted admission for free. He tried to push past to go in, so I ended up having to call security."
"Sounds like the idiot had it coming." Ryker said. "So did you remember which direction he went?"
"I believe he storm off into the station plaza after making quite the scene. He mention something about being 'absolutely starved; after wandering all over town."
"Yeah, all right. Thanks for the tip." Ash said.
"Sounds like the pub. Come on." Levi said as they took off to Dechen Pub and Diner as they go in and see the soldier sitting by the counter as Morley look frustrated.
"What have I done to deserve this disgusting strong fish pie?! Is this your first time making fish pie?! Everyone knows you're supposed to use simple freshwater fish! Not whatever this is! That's how they do it back home!" Stan yelled at Morley.
Morley sighed. "I hear you, but that's just not how it goes here. We can't get our hands on freshwater fish, so it's saltwater only I'm afraid. Sorry it's not to your liking, but there's not much more I can do." She said, before noticing the others. "Oh, you forks looking to order something? Just give me a minute, and I can take your or-"
"Heym Granny! What about my order, huh? Bring me my damn fish pie!"
"Hey jackass, shut it." Ryker told him. "Ignore this goon. You don't have to make it."
"But the customer is always right... If I had the ingredients and the recipe, I could make it..."
Ash sighed. "You're way too nice for your own good."
"How about we make it instead?" Levi suggest.
"Yeah! I was thinking the same thing!" Juna nodded.
"Oh thank you all!" Morley smied.
"You wanted a fish pie made with freshwater fish. Is that correct?" Altina asked.
"Yeah, but..." Stan fold his arms as he thinks. "All right, then. If you think you can do it, then let's see. Impress me!"
"All right, so we can we find the recipe that use freshwater fish?" Ares asked.
"Well, we did visit a place with a nice lake. Maybe there?" Ryker suggest.
"All right, Let's head to Milsante. Sidney's folks own the inn so let's head there." Levi nodded as they leave the Pub.
"Okay so we're gonna use horses or-" Ryker paused when they go to an alley and then Levi created a portal there. "-Or we can used that." He said as they go in and arrived in Milstane.
Then they begin to go into White Birch Inn and then talk to Alban.
"Hello, everyone. Is something wrong?" Alban asked.
"Actually, we were hoping to consult you about something." Kurt said. "You see, there's this recruit who been aggressive. He demanded Fish Pie but the Pub lacks the recipe and the fish with it. Do you by any chance know the recipe?"
"Hmm, Yes I have the recipe that troublesome solder would want. I can't deny that freshwater fish are different then saltwater fish. The fishy taste is a lot stronger, so it's harder to use. But the Fish Pie I make with fish caught from the lake might suit him."
"So you serve it here, too, huh?" Juna asked.
"Yep. I don't have enough ingredients, so it's temporarily off the menu. I'm planning on bringing it back at some point, though. I'll write down my family recipe for you." He said as he wrote down the recipe to them as they look over.
"Okay, nice!" Levi said as he wrote it down. "Thanks for sharing your reciple with us." Levi smiled
"Hah! It's not exactly a big family secret or anything. So enjoy it." Alban smiled.
"Let's see...Fresh Egg, Flaky Potato, Corase Rock Salt, Assorted Graines and Beast Flash. Oh! We have all of them by now." Venti said.
"Can we use your kitchen to make it?" Levi asked.
"Be my guest." Alban said as the group nodded they go into the kitchen, put on aprons as Levi, Venti, Juna and Altina help make it.
After a few minutes, they made Artisan Special Pie.
"All done! Okay, let's head back!' Levi said as they leave the Inn and use a portal back to Raquel and made back to the Pub. "Okay, we're back."
"That was fast." Morley said.
"Hmph. Took you long enough." Stan said.
"Just shut up and eat it." Ash said as Levi handed over the Artisan Special Pie to him.
"Ooh! Is that?" Morley asked.
"We made it using the recipe we learned at the White Birch Inn." Altina explained.
"Tch, I guess it looks all right, but the proof's in the pudding!" Stan fold his arm.
"Just shut your piehole and eat the damn thing as I said earlier." Ash said.

"Fine. Here goes nothing." Stan sighed as he begin to take the fork and knife and begin to take the piece of the pie and took a bite and munch it. "Mmh... I knew you cooking is- eh?" He swallow it and look surprised. "This taste..." Then he begin to punch the rest of the pie. "My word... I thought for sure it would be a disaster... but..." Then he begin to gobble down the fish pie.
"Ya happy?" Ryker asked as Stan ate the whole thing. "Whoa there. You'll eat the whole plate if you're not careful."
(Trails of Cold Steel III ost - A Fleeting Homing)
"Haha! You kids are amazing!" Morley laughed.
"H-Hmph..." Stan responded. "I can't believe you made a dish that tasted like this... There are some subtle differences... But it's very close to what Mom used to make. Even more important, it made me happy."
"Well glad to hear it." Levi said.
"And what do you mean, 'Mom'?" Ash asked. "Were you homesick or something?"
"E-Excuse me?!" Stan yelled. "I am a proud soldier! I don't get 'homesick'! Don't be ridiculous!"
"Okay, but why are you acting tough on us?" Venti asked "There isn't any need for you to act tough. I'm guessing why you're acting like this was because you were drafted, right?"
"I..."
'So that's why...' Kurt thought. "We understand that bring drafted cannot be an easy experience. "
"Yes, we are aware that we cannot understand everything you are currently going through, but... It is difficult to be away from your loved ones." Altina said with a smile "We all feel the same, after all."
"Y-You do?" Stan asked before he sighed. "I suppose it's not unusual to feel like this nowadays... but... it's not just me having a hard time..."
"You mean your best pal?" Ash asked. "You know, in some way, you're pretty lucky. I mean, not only did my mom's cooking suck, but I can't even taste it again."
"Ash..." Kurt trailed off.
"You have a good friend who's worried about you." Ares said to change the topic.
"Ah... that's right... Chris..." Stan look down. "I ignored his warning... I've got my mom and my friends... But I got desperate because of the craft I started acting out, as if to hide my true emotions... I did whatever I pleased..." He sighed. "I've made some terrible mistakes." he got up and look at Morley and bow in apology. "Ma'am... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have acted the way I did. I was selfish."
"I'm glad you realized it." Morley said before Stanf ace the others.
"I feel like... all of you have opened my eyes. I will face up to what I'm feeling as I look toward the future. I have to do it for my mom and my friends back home who are worrying about me."
"I'm glad to hear that!" Juna smiled.
'Hmm... He must have felt victim to the curse. Glad that's over.' Levi thought. "Well, your friend should be waiting for you. You should get going."
"Right. I should. Thank you." Stan said as he took off and the others follow back to the plaza. "Hey, Chris."
"Stan!" Chris got up. "I was so worried! Please tell me you didn't get into any trouble..."
"No... I'm sorry I worried you. I was just upset about being drafted that... we couldn't see my mom... and our friends."
"Stan... so that's why..." Chris paused before he hug him. "It's okay. I miss them too including my folks. But you're not alone in this, okay. We got each other."
"Yeah... you're right." Stan smiled as he hug back as they let go of the hug and turn to the group.
"Thank you guys so much for talking some sense back into Stan! I'm surprised that you managed. I owe you all big time!" Chris smiled.
"You're letting me off the hook too easy, don't you think?" Stan asked. "Don't you think I deserve a punch in the face?"
"Come on. What good will that gonna do? If you really want to make up for this, you need to go around and apologize to everyone you upset here."
"Thanks for standing by me, man."
"Wow, you two really are close friends, aren't you?" Juna smiled
"You better stick together, yeah?" Ash smirked
"You can count on it." Stan nodded
"Thank you again!" Chris smiled. "I couldn't have been able to do it without you guys."
"No problem. Take care now." Levi waved them goodbye as they headed off. "Okay, so where is Ragna and Jin?"
"Hmm... Good question." Juna wondered as Venti begin to text them.
"Okay, I just text them. We should wait for a reply." Venti said until the reply appeared. "Oh, that was fast. They said they were in the canyon road, waiting for us. They took care of some monsters on the way.
"Then let's join them." Legi said as their way to North Languedoc Canyon Road.

"All right, we're here." Kazuha said. "Don't forget to keep an eye on the Pengulaum, Juna."
"Got it!" Juna nodded as Levi summoned the horses as everyone began their usual mounting pairs and then took off.
The group rode their way down the road as they passed a bunch of platypus monsters who were minding their business. They continued riding their way until they spotted a form in the road where Ragna and Jin are.
"There you guys are." Ragna said. "Did you finish?"
"Yeah. He's just having a friend trouble. We clear it out. He might be affected by the curse."
"Hmm, so that's what going on." Jin fold his arm. "If that's the case, then there wasn't anything we need to worry about."
"Well, what do you know. I guess we won't have to worry, then. Well anyway, now that you're here, what do we do?"
"Well Jurai's to the left. The right's mostly just mines and borderlands." Ash told them
"Jurai..." Levi close his eyes. "That's where Stark and Crow are from."
"Yeah. It doesn't like he's working with Maya and Gustaf, though, so..." Juna said.
"In any case, check the pendulum." Jin said
Juna nodded as it glowed brightly to the direction of mines and borderlands.
"It leads to the mines and borderland. Come on." Ragna said as Levi summon the other two horses as Ragna and Jin climb up and took off to that path.
"If I recall correctly, this path leads to the largest mining town in western Erebonia. Aragon Iron Mines." Altina said
"Oh yeah. That's where Gustaf's from." Ash nodded.
"So you guys took care of some monsters right?" Venti asked
"Yeah, it was some giant worms. Figured they were up to no good so we dealt with them." Ragna said.
"That's a good thing. Okay, we should-hm?" Levi paused when they heard noses.
"What's that sound?" Ryker asked as he turn to his left. "Crap! Cars, coming in hot!"
"Follow me!" Levi yelled as they ride out of the road and Levi cast his magic and turned invisible as they see a military truck passing by.
After the Truck was gone, Levi dispel his magic.
"A Military truck." Jin said.
"Why was it here on the mountain?" Ares asked.
"There were miners in that car... Which means- Hm? Wait! Not over yet." Levi said as he cast his magic again to turn invisible and they spotted someone coming out from hiding, accompanied by Rhydon.
"Phew...made it through without being spotted." He said. "Still, there's gotta be something I can do about all this..."
Venti gasped and turn to Levi as he nodded and dispelled the magic. "Gustaf!"
Gustaf turned to see us and the group dismount their horses.
"Levi! Class VII? And Ash is with you?" Gustaf exclaimed
"Yep, it's us all right." Levi wink.
"Wow, never thought I'd run into you guys way out here. It's good to see you again, Ash. I'm glad you're back with us. Don't worry about the past, all right? Focus on the future."
"Yeah, thanks for that, Father Gustaf. Give me some credit." Ash sighed "I know you'd get through all this somehow, so y'know, whatever."
"Heh. Thanks, I guess."
"Aww, leaving me out of this reunion?" Venti pouted
Levi clear his throat. "In any case. You came here to check on your hometown, Gustaf?"
"A military truck just passed by this way with a lot of miners." Altina added
Gustaf nodded "Yeah, everyone from Aragon and Sachsen's heading out on a large-scale job. The military got involved, and they're calling for more and more workers."
"Considering they need more materials. I'm not surprised." Jin fold his arm "After all, they need large amount of materials for their weaponry for tanks, soldots, railway cannons, and more along the way."
"The Empire is going through extreme lengths because of the war efforts and the curse." Ryker grumbled.
Gustaf nodded. "Definitely. Everyone I talked to said they're getting worked to the bone, all day, all night. I wish there was something I could do about it, but finding the other branch campus students takes priority. Same goes for the instructors, right?"
"Yeah, you're right. Good luck on that." Venti nodded
"We got our own stuff to deal with, so just do what you can without us, got it?" Ash request
"Yeah, I was planning to meet up with Maya and the others after I investigate Jurai, anyway." Gustaf nodded "If you ask me, though, you're taking your time looking for that singularity thing around the mines. There's so many people around, you'd think someone would have noticed if there was anything that weird going on."
"I suppose that does make sense." Altina nodded
"If the mines are out of the question, perhaps we should concentrate on the borderlands." Kurt hummed
"There's a lodge for travelers at the crossroads up ahead." Gustaf said. "It's a long way to Alster. But with the horses you got. You should be fine. But it's up to you if you want to rest up at the lounge."
"Thanks, Gustaf." Juna replied. "Take care of yourself, okay?"
"Yeah, let us know if you need help or anything." Ash added
He nodded and left with his Rhydon.
"All right. Let's go." Ares said as they all got back on their horses and ride toward the Old Lamare Road.

The group ride passing monsters minding their own business and a few Rock Pokemon like Geodude along the way. As they passed the bridge and pathways, they spotted a building behind the gate.
"There's the rest lounge!" Juna said.
"Okay, everyone. Let's take a break here." Levi said
"Are you certain?" Jin asked. "No, never mind. We might get some info from this place as well." He said as they all dismount as Levi cast Dimensional Home for the horses to take a break for now and they all go to the building before seeing a Limo."
"What's with the limo?" Juna asked
"Hmm... could someone be staying here?" Levi wondered as they go in.

"Phew... I'm beat from all that riding." Juna stretch out her arms.
"I was aware of the difficulties of climbing mountains roads, I do feel sorry for the horses that takes us here." Altina sighed
"Yeah. But the horses don't mind. They're happy they're getting some exercise." Levi said as they approached the counter.
"Well hello, travelers. Welcome to the Noce Rest Lounge." The receptionist greeted.
"Hi. Can we order some refreshments?" Levi asked.
"Of course! There's a table there. Please, help yourselves." He said as they all took it and then they began to sit down, order some tea and drinks, and get some info from the Reception too.
"Ah, that was some good tea." Levi said with a smile.
"Indeed. The tea look superb. I can feel whoever made this is a professional." Kazuha nodded as he drank his tea. "Ah. Brings a smile to my face."
"Right. So let's get back on topic before we head out." Ragna rest his arm on the table.
"Right. According to the man at the front desk, this is the halfway point of the trail. We should only be about an hour away from Alster." Kurt said. "But on horseback, we should be there by 20 minutes or so. Though there's also a junction that leads to the North Ambria border along the way."
"Oh, right. That's where Valestein came from, right?" Ash asked
"Right. Aether too if I recall." Levi answered "We should let Sara know if we learn anything about what's going to happen there. Considering that it's now part of the Empire. It should also be taking the effects of the Great Twilight."
"It wouldn't be out of the question for a singularity to be there, then." Juna sighed "Still, we should probably focus on Lamare for now.
"Agreed. We still have to search for Sandy in Alster, after all." Altina nodded
"We'll be cutting it close, but it does still fall within the bounds of Lamare. Come to think of it. Isn't Alster Prince Olivert's hometown?" Kurt asked.
"Oh..." Juna look upset. "Really?"
"Yeah." Levi nodded as he look down. "I'm sure Alester heard the news about what happened to him. It must have come as a great shock... considering he used to live there until he was twelve years ago."
"I thought so." Kurt look sad. "I remember my brother going there as part of His Highness' guard."
"It'd be hard not to hear about it, even way out here in the sticks." Ash added.
Juna nodded. "Yeah...Sandy always seemed proud to know him, too..."
"Oh my, who have we here?" A voice asked as they turned and saw two women approaching them.
"Oh, hello! Is there something we can help you with?" Ares asked.
"Do forgive me for butting in. I simply couldn't help myself." The woman with the blonde hair giggled "You are students, are you not? You've chosen a curious time to go hiking, what with the war on."
"We're on our way to meet a friend who lives in the area." Kurt said.
"I don't mean to be rude, but who are you?" Altina asked. "You don't look like you're from around here."
"Oh, me? I just drove down here from north of the Empire." The blonde girl replied. "I had a work assignment to take care of, you see, and-"
"A moment if you would." The other girl interrupted. "Miss Lucy, please. You can't just go around talking to random locals like that."
"Yes, yes, I know. But something about these young people simply piques my interest."
"Is... uh... everything okay over there?" Juna asked

"So you came down from North Ambria, huh?" Ash asked. "Judging by that fancy orbal car out front, I doubt you're actually from there. If I had to guess, I'd say you're actually from Remiferia."
That got the ladies' attention.
(Trails of Cold Steel III ost - Temporally Speculation)
"Remiferia?" Ragna asked
"It's one of the nations located in the north part of Zemuria. It's neighbors to North Ambria, Erebonia, Nord Highland and Ored." Levi explain.
"Oh, my... Well, aren't you perceptive? It is true that I'm here in Erebonia for work, though." The blonde girl replied. "I had business to attend to in Haliask, so I figured this would be the best route to take."
Kazuha hummed "Haliask? If memories serve me right, that's North Ambria's old capital city, correct?"
"Correct." Altina nodded
"Sounds like a long journey, even by car." Juna said.
"My turn, then." The other girl spoke. "You said you had friends nearby, right? In Alster? How exactly did you get to know someone who lives all the way out here?"
"Huh?" Ares tilt his head.
"And why do you want to know?" Ryker asked.
"Oh, no reason in particular. You just don't look like your typical run-of-the-mill travelers, is all." The Brunette Woman answered. "After all, Who'd hike up a monster-infested trail when you can travel by train or car instead? It's almost as if you're trying to pass through without attracting attention."
"Hm?" Levi gave a small glare.
"Finally cutting to the chase, huh?" Ash asked.
"If you noticed all that, I doubt you're normal travelers, either." Altina said.
"Oh, but we're as normal as normal can be. You can check our passport's if you like. Remiferian passports, I might add." She answered. "I assure you, our entry into Erebonia was both completely legal and totally above board."
"Okay then why are you telling us this?" Ragna fold his arm. "I couldn't care whether it was legal if you put it. But you're awfully emphasizing about this."
That got her attention.
"Agreed. I can only speculate that you're not from the same country as your friend here." Jin wave his arm. "Which means you're from a different nation. Because if you were, you wouldn't be emphasizing the passports."
"I have to agree." Levi nodded. "There's no doubt your friend here is from Remiferia. Someone we know also has her hair. You on the other hand. I can only guess you're from neighboring nations near Remiferia and Erebonia. I can only think of two possibilities. Either you're from Ored. Or Calvard."
And that really got her attention.
"Oh, I get it now." Ash comment.
"Oh my. My apologizes. It would seem we've been had." The Blonde woman whispers to the Brunette.
The Bunette turn her head to the left. "N-Not yet, we haven't." She replied before facing the group. "I'd recommended you abandon this line of questioning. We all have our secrets." Then she released an intimidation. "I'd hate to have to shut you up here and now..."
That got Juna and the others to flinch, but it did not affect, Kazuha, Ragna, Jin, and Levi.
"Oh, is that right?" Ragna nearly got his Armara out and Jin with Yukiasnisa.
"Excuse me." Levi sighed. "I'm not sure what business you have here. But it's none of ours anyway. But I would appreciate it if you didn't threaten us, and my friends here." He said as he stood up and unleashed an even more terrifying intimidation and glare as Ragna, Kazuha, Shez and Jin got up, and readied their weapons. "Because if you would do that again. Or at least threaten my friends, you'll may pay the consequences."
"Tch…!" The Brunette took a step back as she clenched her teeth and felt a sweat.
"Oh dear. I think we may have offended the wrong people." The Blonde girl whispered, feeling the sweat on her cheek.

"My, my, you're certainly having a lively conversation." A voice intervene as they turn to the voice and see a woman with light emerald-green eyes, and dark blue hair and asymmetrical bangs that are lighter at the tips, blue qipao-like overcoat and a dark bodysuit embellished with silver details. Her attire is decorated with a number of trinkets and accessories, including white bracelets on her arms and a number of chokers and necklaces around her neck from which a charm resembling a die hangs. A furred white coat hanging from the back of her outfit somewhat resembling a cape and sports a pair of thigh-high boots that leave a part of her thigh exposed, and sports a pair of white blue-tipped earrings resembling teardrops.
Accompany her was a a man with dark grayish-black hair, gray-colored eyes and a goatee, hat his hat backwards, a faded black tank top and navy blue jeans.
And next to him was a young woman with neck-length light brown hair and brown eyes. She wears small white earrings in both of her ears, wearing a blue jacket with pockets, a pink shirt a light tan color skirt.
And lastly, a Woman with long greenish blonde hair and violet eyes, a long pencil skirt in beige with white frills, a padded white dress shirt with a black vest over the top. Accompany her was an Eldegoss.
The four of them approach them.
"Excuse me. But have my two friends here been causing you trouble for you kids?" The Dark blue-haired woman asked.
"You could say that, yes." Ragna said.
"My apologies. I can assure you they didn't mean any harm. So please, be at ease. I can only assume my brunette friend is behaving quite... rash. I thought I warn you to be careful with your personality. Didn't I?" The dark-haired woman asked the Brunette.
"Yes. I know..." The Brunette muttered as she fold her arms and looked away with a hmph.
"Oh please don't be mad with her. I couldn't help but find these people very interesting." The Blonde girl admit.
"Ah I see. I understand my friend. Granted they are rather curious, and it's fine if you want to talk and be friends with them. But try to act casual. But I'm guessing you were, until a certain someone might have unintendedly spoiled it."She said, causing the brunette to grumble.
"Hehe, now now. There's no need for that. And fighting simply won't do. This is a place of rest and relaxation." The woman with the greenish hair replied with a warm smile.

"Our apologies, Miss Manager. I do hope we didn't disturb anyone." The blonde girl replied. "We were just leaving, but I'd love to stop by again sometime. The food here was just delightful, those vegetable dishes, especially."
"Please do. I'll keep a spot at the dinner table open for you. Oh, and feel free to take an extra helping or four-for the road." She said as she approached the counter and pick up the basket and then handed it over to her.
"Oh yeah! Thanks for that!" The man cheered.
"Yeah, we really appreciated the extra meal." The other brunette smiled.
"Indeed! Thank you so much." She smiled before turning to the group. "I guess this is where we part. I hope you managed to meet up with your friend."
"Take care now." The dark blue hair woman agreed.
"Thank you. You too." Levi smiled. "And good luck with you as well." Then gives a deadpan to the woman next to first brunette. "As for you. Well. Bye." Then gave her a look saying. 'Threaten me and my students again and you'll pay the consequences.'
"Ahem. Sorry for the trouble." She replied.
The four ladies and the man left and Levi and the others set down.
"And there they go." Ares said.
"Hmph. The first Brunette chick got guts I'll give her that." Ragna fold her arms. "Any further and we might have to take it outside."
"It's overkill if it were just us don't you think?" Shez asked.
"Regardless, she better be careful who she threatens with, next time."
"In her defense, a certain someone was made it look like an interrogation." Ares said.
"Hey, what are you implying?" Ash glared at him.
"Keep that glare to yourself, Ash." Ryker threaten him.
"Now now, Let's all calm down. What matters is that it's over, regardless of whose fault it was." Kazuha said.
"Agreed. Even though it was her. The blonde hair one seems nice. If she hadn't become suddenly protective, we would have just had a normal conversation." Levi said. "But in any case." He turns to the greenish girl. "Nice to see you again, Edel."
"You as well, Levi. I must say, it's a real pleasure to see you again." Edel said.
"Likewise. The gardening club is always a heartwarming site with life."
"Oh, I'm glad you remember those days. How is my little Fie doing, is she all right?"
"She's doing quite well for herself, thanks to working with Sara."
"Oh, then that means." Juna paused
"Are you another of Thors graduates too?" Kurt asked.
"That's right. My name is Edel, and I'm currently the proprietor of this lodge." Edel answered "Though Levi here, and Class VII may know me better as the head of the Gardening Club. I was a year ahead of them."
"I see... this land must belong to your family, then?" Kurt asked
"Yes, my father is only a minor viscount, but we do quite well for ourselves, considering. Working here is a wonderful way to support my studies and hobbies both."
"Ya don't say." Ash said. "Bet you get some good business out of the middle of nowhere place like this."
"There must be plenty of people passing through on their way to Alster and the mines." Altina replied
"Yes. Even more so as of late." Edel replied. "Though most of them are miners or soldiers. You don't see many people like those from earlier very often."
"Interesting." Juna said. "Well, either way, at least we found another Thors graduate! This trip is shaping up to be worth it already!"
"I'm guessing the others made contact with you then?" Levi asked
"That's right." Edel nodded. "I'm up to speed with Vincent, as well as all the other alumni further east. Nothing from Vivi or Ferris quite yet, though. That said, the botanist in me can't help but be curious about those reddish-black plants I've been hearing about lately."
"That sounds like Pleroma Grass, all right!" Juna said. "Do you know anywhere that might narrow down where it could be?"
"Well, it's mostly been people from Alster talking about it. Those women and gentlemen from earlier asked about it as well."
"They must be up to something." Altina stated
"Were they also headed to Alster, by any chance?" Ragna asked
"Yes. They were only stopping here for one night." Edel answered "But apart from its distillery, that town doesn't really have much in the sense of tourist attractions. And with residents getting drafted left and right, it's hard to see why anyone would want to go there now."
"Heh. And here I thought this trip was gonna be boring." Ash smirked
"Hmm, sounds like our next stop is indeed Alster and Sandy is most likely there too. If we can ask her and look around there, we might be able to find clues on where the Pleroma Grass is." Levi said
"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea for now." Juna nodded.
"Then let's depart." Altina added.
"In that case, you'll need a hot meal to fortify you for the road ahead." Edel said suggested. " I recommend our lodge specialty- I grow the vegetables myself on my family's estate. My lovely Pokemon help nurture them."
"That sounds delicious!" Juna cheered
"Same, it's been while since I've tried your sweet veggies." Levi wink.
"Indeed. Thank you for your hospitality." Kazua nodded
"So is Eldegoss your Pokemon?"
"Not just my sweet Eldegoss, Arboliva, Tsareena and Liligant." Edel answered. "Now then, let me prepare you that meal."

"Thanks for the meal Edel!" Levi said.
"Your welcome! Hope you can come again." Edel smiled
"Oh we will if we get the chance. Your cooking is top-class."
"You're too kind. But I'm a little self-conscious about my cooking lately. I've been searching through cookbooks and trying different recipes, but they're only so much one can achieve studying on her own."
"Wow, that's impressive with your cooking as it stands." Shez said.
"But I understand how you feel. A good cook always wants to improve." Kazuha nodded
"Yeah I can totally agree on that." Juna nodded. "There are a lot of different recipes I want to try, too, but I only have so much time and so many ingredients."
"Yeah, I get how you feel. Such as the daily life of a cook." Levi nodded
"Hehe. I figured you'll say that Levi." Edel giggled. "As long as I'm cooking with my vegetables, I want to bring their best qualities to the forefront of each dish."
"If that's the case. We could provide you with some of our own superb dishes." Altina said.
"Oh that's a great idea Altina." Levi smiled. "We have some of our recipes from our travels. And we can encounter more recipes on the way. Maybe they can help?"
"Oh that sounds like a wonderful idea, thank you." Edel smiled.
"Whenever we make a new superb dish, we'll bring it to you." Altina smiled
"I can hardly wait. Thank you ever so much." Edel said as the group waved her goodbye and left the Inn and looked into the Map Edel gave them.
"So... Based on this map. Alster should be." Juna said as she looked at the map.
Kurt pointed. "To the left. The path meanders quite a bit though."
"Well, it's not getting any shorter. Let's get going." Ash Advised.
"Right. Let's go." Levi said as he summoned the horses and they all mounted up and ride.
As they ride, they pass through a few bridges without falling or getting close to the edge of the pathway which led them toward the next path.

The group arrived at a farm-like area that was filled with vineyards with grapes.
"Oh, a nice open area!" Juna said
"And that's a vineyard, I take it. Muller tells me about the ones here." Kurt said.
"Alster shouldn't be far from here. If we keep riding here. We'll make it." Levi said as they go through a nice pathway where Altina spotted a nice place to take a picture.
"Oh, wait a moment." Altina said as they stop riding. "There appears to ve some vineyards further from here."
"Oh that'd make for a nice photo, don't you think?" Kurt asked.
"For sure! Let's go find a way to climb up!" Juna cheered as New Class VII, Kazuha, Shez, Ares and Ryker dismounted while the Ragna and Jin stay while they climb up.
Ash let out a whistle. "Wow, the view ain't bad at all."
"No kiddin'. It's definitely perfect for those photo things." Shez agreed.
"Let's take a picture, shall we?" Altina said as she then take the picture. "Okay, there." She said while others take their pictures. "I'll send it to Rex." She said as she call him as he answered. "Rex. We found a photo you might like."
"Oh nice! Let me take a pique at the goods." Rex said as Altina send it to him. "Oh now that's a nice pic! Here's a little something for your trouble." He said, sending a picture of Alfin with her hugging her Sylveon, then being hugged by her Dragonite and her Gardevoir with it, while Fosmoth flying over them with her Aurous let out a joyful expression.
"Wait, how did you get a picture of Princess Alfin?" Levi asked with a glare.
"Whoops, I gotta go, later!" Rex said as he hang up.
"One of these days, he's gonna get it." Levi sighed as they continued riding the path until they spotted sheeps and the Town Entrance.
"Aww, look at all those fluffy sheep." Juna said in awe as the group dismount.
"Aww, I wanna pet them and cuddle in their woo." Venti chuckled
"Aren't they adorable with their Baaa?" Levi asked
"They seem well taken care of. They must belong to someone in town." Altina replied
"Tch. Fields, sheep... we're in the sticks." Ash sighed as Levi open Dimensional Home to store in the horses and enter the town of Alster.
