If passion drives you,

let at least reason hold the reins.

POV Alyssa

For me, the night was something worrying! Every time my head started to think, stopping only when sleep came. I thought about a lot of things, from how I met Theodore and Draco, to meeting Sarah and Agnes, to this psychopath. I looked at the hour, I snorted when I saw that it was 11:30 and I tried to turn around on the other side, but I was restless; something, perhaps a noise, had caught my attention, making me wince frightened.

I couldn't tell if those noises were imaginary or real, and that was enough to scare me.

I got out of bed, trying to make as little noise as possible and, having taken a breath of courage, I went to the place where the noise came from.

I didn't know what to do in these cases, just as I regretted not having made my partner sleep with me! There was something wrong in my house, before going to bed I was sure that I had turned off all the lights and I had fixed the plates, as well as I was convinced that I had fixed the knives and cutlery.

I approached the kitchen counter, trying not to frighten me further, and as soon as I saw the drawer open, I convinced myself that someone had entered. I tried to move and, reaching the living room, I looked around! Not only were two knives missing, but also the rope that held the curtains.

How long did he observe me? How many times did that pig enter my house invading my space!? I was so caught up in my thoughts that I did not notice the stone that had entered through the window breaking the glass and, because of the noise, I screamed. I took the stone noticing that a note was attached to it but, in doing so, I cut myself.

That glass hurt me! Ignoring the blood I decided to read the note.

"When you sleep you are beautiful! I would love to touch that body!"

I felt fear growing, I felt that at home I was no longer safe. I was afraid and so I did the best thing, I got dressed and after taking the phone and the bag, I left my house with my heart in my throat.

I ran over to Theo's house trying not to look back and after I reached it, seeing that the gate and the door were open, I entered. I sat on the stairs undecided whether or not to knock, but the fear I had felt that night pushed me to knock.

- Who is it?

- Theo... it's Alyssa, can you open me up? -

- Alyssa... what are you doing here? At this hour! - Theo asked me, letting me in.

- Sorry, Theo, but they broke into my house. I got scared and I ran here! -

- How did they get in? Alyssa, are you okay? -

- Honey, I'm just scared! I heard a noise and the kitchen drawers were open. Some things were missing... and then a stone came in, breaking the glass of the window...- I explained to Theodore, speaking softly: - In addition attached to the rock there was this! - I continued, ticking the chestnut.

- Son of... Bloody, Alyssa, you're hurt.! -

- It's just a cut Theodore, don't worry.. I got it while I was collecting my ticket! -

Theodore squeezed me and I, feeling safe, let myself cry. I was tired of this situation, tired of having to be careful, tired of having to hide and tired of not being able to do the things my peers did. The chestnut tried to calm me, whispering sweet words in my ear, and it succeeded. I let myself be lulled by his voice.

He locked the front door and, after picking me up, he took me to my room. I finally got to sleep, and for the first time, I didn't have nightmares.

POV Theodore

The next morning I woke up very early! I wrote a letter that I left on my partner's pillow and, after getting dressed, I went to wake Draco who, hearing me arrive, opened the door.

He was wearing his barracks uniform, so I assumed he heard my conversation last night.

- Take this asshole before he touches Alyssa! - said Draco.

- Absolutely! As soon as I find him, I'll make him end up like the victims! -

- Thedore we are cops, some things we can not tell her! - scolded me Draco while he and I left the apartment.

We headed for the barracks angry, disappointed and itching with our hands. The night before, when my partner had knocked on the door, I knew immediately that something was wrong. She looked terrified and scared, so I hugged her, tried to calm her down, and I managed.

Draco walked by my side without saying a word, and when we got to the barracks, we locked ourselves in my office. We looked at the photos of all the victims, trying to recreate or imagine the situation they were in.

- Of course!? Why didn't we notice it before! - Draco yelled, frightening me.

- It seems to you.. What did you see? -

- Theodore, look at the body positions of each victim! -

- They're all in the same position! Wait, they're pointing at a building.. -

- Exactly, Theo, I think our victims knew the pig who killed them! -

- It is necessary to see if any victimization had been robbed or received unpleasant messages! -

- If other victims received the same threats as Alyssa it means that the serial Killer is the same! Draco, do me a favor, get all the phone records of the victims and ask some colleague if someone came to report a robbery! - I spoke. Draco nodded and went out while I, after being alone, called Alyssa. I needed to hear his voice, and I needed to know if he was okay.

Initially the phone sounded empty, but on the second attempt Alyssa answered. We talked about what she had done and what I had done, and then I went so far as to tell her how much I missed her. She felt the same way and I liked that. But I wasn't calm and, judging by her voice, she wasn't either. I heard fear and anxiety in his voice!

The door opened and, after greeting Alyssa, I closed the call waiting for Draco to speak.

- Draco.. Then you know something? - I asked, seeing that he did not speak.

- Yes, these are the phone records.. You'll find something interesting! Besides, you know I hate being right! -

- All the victims were called from the same number! While the messages all have the same sentence! Do you already know who this number belongs to? - I asked looking at Draco.

- No.. Our agents are working on it! -

- I wonder what these guys do all day... Why, they're not working the case! -

- Theo... -

- Theo nothing... when I become chief I will fire a few people! - I said with a little rage in my voice. I got tired of these people, who did nothing from morning to night; the only ones who worked was me and Draco. In two you could not do much! How angry I was!

But I didn't know that more trouble would soon come. Soon something would happen that would bring out a side of me that nobody knew.

I looked at my best friend and, after giving him a nod, I started preparing to go home. I wanted to end that day and hug Alyssa.

We got home quite tired and when she opened the door, Alyssa rushed into my arms as Sarah approached Draco and he hugged her.

My partner and I looked at each other and, after saying goodbye to Draco and Sarah, we locked ourselves in the room. Here passion overwhelmed us and we became one. I could feel Alyssa's nails scratching my shoulders and her legs had wrapped around my life, facilitating her thrusts.

I loved her and, screaming, I poured into her!
