Peter finally feels comfortable enough in their relationship to introduce Mark to his Aunt May, while Mark has been fretting slightly about it, wanting to make a good impression, especially since he was in juvie. Luckily, MJ is here to lend a hand. Do not own Spectacular Spider-man.

Near Midtown Highschool…

Mark was waiting for Petey to arrive after kicking some bad guy's butt.

Luckily, he sees his sweet little Muy pequeño was swinging by as he managed to get to school on time. He looked tired as he landed close.

"How was it?" Mark wondered as he helped Peter get dressed for school.

"Oh, same old, same old. Bad guys trying to cause trouble and me stopping them." Peter answered as he had something else on his mind, "Also, Aunt May wanted to know when you're coming over. She wants to meet you."

Mark jumped a little at the thought.

"She wants to meet me? So soon?" Mark questioned with a little bit of fear in his voice.

"Yeah, she liked all the stories about you and thinks it's time to take another step and meet families. She wants to know the kind of man who has been taking care of me. My aunts very old fashion about these things." Peter answered with a smile on his face.

"Y-yeah, but don't you think it's a little early for her to meet me? I-I mean, we have been dating for a while and I don't know-."

Peter then kissed him.

"Hey, she's going to love you, like I do."

Just as they had a moment, they were suddenly interrupted by Flash and the other football players, causing Peter to panic and try to get dressed. Sadly, Peter slipped and before Mark could even catch him, plummeted into gooey garbage.

"Whoops, interrupting your make-out sessions? Who knew you and Parker were into that?" Flash joked as Mark glared at them and help his boyfriend out of the garbage, "Gross, he fell into the trash!"

"Yeah, thanks to you." Mark sniped at the blond as he helped Peter to the showers, ignoring the laughter.

At Captain Stacy's class…

It wasn't as bad when Petey slipped in, but it still stunk.

"Wow, so you and Petey were making out by the dumpster." Mary Jane laughed a little at Mark while everyone plugged their noses at the stench.

"Actually, Pete wanted to talk about me… meeting his aunt," Mark admitted that everyone was surprised.

"Woah, to the next level? This quick?" Liz gasped a little.

"Yeah, his aunt suggested that I come over and introduce myself to her," Mark answered.

"Oh man, May Parker will eat you alive." Flash laughed, earning some glares.

"Mrs. Parker? But she seems so sweet." Liz questioned.

"Oh, she can be sweet, but you better watch yourself. She's like a hawk, loving to her young but she's constantly watching your every move, waiting for an excuse to rip your throat out."

"Flash!"

Mark gulped a bit. He only hoped that May won't chew him out for his past because he knew that she would want the right man to love her nephew.

"Alright, alright everyone settled down." Captain Stacy ordered as everyone settled down.

The police officer then told the young students the importance of partnership, and that having backup could mean life and death. Thus, the class would partner up into groups of two and ride in a squad car. Mark was paired up with MJ, which was perfect. Don't get him wrong, he would love to pair up with Pete, but he needed advice when he met with May, and he needs to prepare for what he needed to expect and try not to do. Flash was with Harry, who was angry about that. Liz got Gwen, which would be slightly less awkward than he and Gwen paired up. Then Pete got the worse, he was paired with Sally.

Yeah, from that 'Stinky Pete' comment, it wasn't going to be fun for either of them.

"Don't worry, Pete. You could do worse." Mark whispered so Liz wouldn't hear.

"Yeah, I guess so."

In the Evening…

Mark headed in with MJ as he really needed to talk to her.

Other than Pete, she was the only person who really got him. He was a bit of a wild child, who wanted to have fun and seek thrills. His taste for excitement and risk got him into trouble with the law, then locked away. But when he was Pete, those thrills, excitement but stability… they came from him. Peter was the opposite of him and yet what he needed.

He wasn't sure what he would be without him.

"So, Mark. Ready to take that big step?" MJ wondered.

"I don't know. With Muy pequeño we were dating, just not 'dating' dating. We were having fun and enjoying ourselves. Then… I realize something..."

"That you love him, like 'love him' love him," MJ answered.

"Yeah," Mark admitted.

"Is this a ride-along? Or a 'ride-along' ride-along." The police mocked the goofiness of the kids, MJ and Mark ignoring them.

"So, what are you worked up about?" MJ asked.

"It's his aunt, I know he and she want to meet me, but what if loving Muy pequeño isn't enough? What if she sees me as a thug? After all, I did just get out of Juvie." Mark fretted over the thought of what May with think of him or do when he met him.

"I know May Parker; she is a sweet lady, and she loves Peter dearly. If you make Peter happy, then she's happy, too. She may give you a little warning, so be prepared for that. But other than that, you'll be fine." MJ assured, "Just never cross her and there won't be problems."

"Duly noted."

Right, right, He just needed to stay calm and make a good impression.

The aftermath of the ride along…

Peter was pretty bummed about his camera and Mark still couldn't believe that Sally actually worried about him and hugged him.

"Yeah, Sally said if I told anyone she would make me wish I did blow up. So, I'll tell you since you're good at keeping secrets." Peter concluded.

"I won't speak a word. Who, do you think flattened the Enforcers' tires?" Mark wondered as they were reaching the Parker House.

"Don't know, but whoever did it is challenging the Big Man for his throne. I fear this might turn into gang warfare, one that not even Spider-man can stop." Peter answered with concern in his voice.

"I know you can get through this, whatever is coming… you can make it through this and even when I don't have powers, I will be right there by your side, ready to help."

May then opened the door to see the pair.

"How was your trip, Peter? Oh, I see you brought your handsome gentleman caller with you at last." Aunt May teased a bit.

"Aunt May!" Peter gasped as his face turned red and Mark chuckled a bit.

"Well, don't stay out in the cold. Come inside and have a nice dinner." Aunt May urged in with such warmth and kindness.

This was the scary aunt that Flash and MJ were talking about? She was like those sweet grandmothers you read in fairytales, the ones who provide apple pie to strangers.

After Dinner…

Mark did extremely well, even better than he believed he would as he seemed to have won over the sweet, widowed woman.

Peter was so thrilled that they were getting along as May treated his boyfriend as if he was family. It seemed May had no trouble welcoming the boy.

"Oh, Peter, could you get the tea for me and Mark?" May asked her nephew.

"Oh course, Aunt May. Do you guys want honey in yours?"

"Yes please."

"No thanks, Muy pequeño."

After Peter left, it was time for May to have a discussion with the young man courting her nephew-her adopted, beloved son.

"You really love him as much as he loves you." May began.

"Um… yeah, he really makes my life all the more worthwhile, helped me find a better way to live," Mark answered with a bit of blush on his face.

"Yes, though there were many boys like you who were infatuated with him, you are the first one who actually earned his heart, his first boyfriend."

Mark was a little surprised.

"Others? But you and Pete said I was his first boyfriend."

"You are. Peter… he didn't really find out about himself until this year but back then, boys seemed to be attracted to him. Whether it was his natural charm or sweetheart. But Peter was never interested in them, though some didn't take no for an answer."

Mark then looked at the woman, who had a glare on her face from those memories.

"Some boys began to stalk Peter, and were obsessed with him, so Ben and I had to get involved. Ben scared most of them away thanks to his years in the service, while others were too dangerous to be allowed to roam free. The police had to separate them from Peter and then send them away, where they can not reach him for years to come." May informed him, "Mr. Allan, Mark, I love that boy as my son. Even if he wasn't born from me, I love him more than anything, more now that Ben is… not here. I will do anything to protect him and care for him."

Mark then got a bad feeling in his gut. He didn't need spider-sense to know that this is not a woman you want to make angry.

"So, when Peter came out and told me had a boyfriend, I was so happy for him. But… that doesn't mean I'm not cautious. Do not break my nephew's heart."

There did not even need to be a threat for her face said it all.

Then Peter came back with the tea and May returned to her sweet self again.

"Here comes some tea to go with that pie." Peter declared with a smile on his face.

Yep, Mark has seen the two faces of May Parker and learned to love, respect, and fear her all in one meeting.
