Timeskip graduation day Naruto age 12 hokages residence
Today was finally the day! The day that had been held from him for so long, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze was officially a Genin now laying down in bed in his messy room he thought back on the years
FLASHBACK SHORTLY AFTER MEETING age 8 Hokages residence
"WHY WOULD YOU TELL THEM IT WAS NARUTO DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE TREATMENT HE'LL GET NOW DO YOU DATTEBANE!!" Kushina yelled on a rampage against Jiraiya and Minato who ducked and dodged away from her flying arms.
"Kushi honey please listen to Pa and Ma Jiraiya please summon them now!" Minato practically screamed as he dodged around his wife's swings actually having to flash away a few times. With a bite a bit of blood and smoke two toads the size of a dog appeared clothed one male one female both old in appearance.
" jiraiya boy to what do we owe the call?"
"I was just putting up my maggot soup!"
Jiraiya apologized asking them both to tell the prophecy to Kushina who reluctantly agreed. After the explanation Kushina's anger subsided only to be replaced by a guilty expression as Naruto walked in the room.
"Oooh cool giant toads when are y'all going to teach me this!?" Naruto asked excitedly his red and blonde tipped hair bouncing up and down.
Minato and Kushina both bent down on one knee each with a hand on his shoulder "Naruto remember when you saved mommy from that bad man?" Naruto nodded his head as they continued.
"well mom and dad need you to be a big man again this time for your Little sister do you think you can? To protect her you must act like you have the nine tails until your sister is older also we both have to train your sister to be strong just in case the masked man comes back again to take her away. As soon as she's ready we'll continue your hands on training in the mean time I'll make sure one of my best Anbu trains you so you won't fall behind and I'll try to leave a clone as much as possible." Minato said earnestly with Kushina speaking next.
" and I'll give you my clans sealing jutsu and my notes I'm sure you'll be a master in no time I'll leave a shadow clone around to help occasionally you know!" Kushina said standing up straight again with Minato.
"Son I know we haven't been able to be around as much as you'd like and
Naruto sighed looking down for a second at his feet. His parents had been spending less time with him over the years since Mito and Menma were both born . For the first two years his mother was always with the twins but when the Great War between Iwa and Kumo looked to be slipping away from the leaf she was sent away on the battlefields constantly doing cool ninja stuff, while his father was always stuck in meetings and dealing with Hokage stuff 24/7 using shadow clones to take care of the twins when Kushina was out of the village.
His parents rarely took the time to train him in their styles like the other major clan kids did let alone just to hangout like when he was younger. occasionally they'd send a clone to be with him but it wasn't the same..his parents clones all had different personalities especially his mother's. The young red and blonde haired child gulped as he sweat droped picturing one of the days he had gotten a strictly red habenero mode mother.
Frowning slightly Naruto Quickly covered up his dejected look with a cashmere smile that his parents saw through quite easily breaking their hearts unbeknownst to their son.
"Fine but you guys gotta teach me a new seal formula and justsu right now in person and don't say you're too busy either or no deal!!" Naruto said his fake smile turning into real a childish mischievous grin. One thing about Naruto was he slept, breathe, and ate shinobi whether practicing drawing seals or the two jutsu that he was taught by his parents.
"You drive a hard bargain but you have a deal ya brat!" Minato said ruffling up Narutos hair while Kushina held him in a playful unbreakable hold.
"Remember that we love you Naruto." And in that moment even though he felt like he had to work twice as hard to earn it compared to his siblings Naruto felt loved.
END OF FLASHBACK
'Hmpph I wonder how much.' Naruto thought. After that day true to their word Minato taught Naruto the gale wind palm first which he had gotten down rather easily. His mother taught him Uzumaki sealing art chakra absorption and release seal and her clan notes on fuinjutsu.
Two techniques that the twelve year old used in his fighting style today. Alongside being trained by Yuguo in the art of the sword Naruto could proudly say his skills were Mid chunin in technique to jonin with seals and his chains which he could produce 8 and maintain them for 35 minutes a day but physically he was high genin something only age and weight training would fix.
True to their word again Naruto only saw his parents at the dinner table as every moment of free time was spent training Mito and Menma throughout the years at first Naruto took on the responsibility like a good big brother but as time passed he asked himself 'why did he have to sacrifice so much wasn't it the parents job to protect their young?' in the academy every day even from his parents he kept hearing about the will of fire well Naruto hated the will of fire he wanted to burn it up with a fireball jutsu a mantra that made you sacrifice your family wasn't one he wanted to follow, his Will was one were he would protect what was precious to him no matter what, he would hold everything he loved close as the world burned around him if it came to it, that was his will.
Why should he hold the will of fire in high regard the civilians clearly didn't. ever since he agreed to "be the nine tails" Walking the streets had turned into a exercise in restraint whispers and taunts of demon monster and killer attacked his ears daily. Naruto had only one friend Yakumo Kuruma the other children would shy away from him after their parents instructions to stay away from the wild child of the Hokage like he was cursed.
Flashback Naruto age 9
Naruto walked through the streets of konoha head down to avoid looking into the eyes of the wrong villager so he wouldn't start a commotion. He was making his way towards the playground by the academy when he saw a girl running she was beautiful for someone around his age with long brown hair and wearing a pink kimono. The girl was currently being chased by a mob of 5 older boys possibly a year removed from graduation.
"Hey hold still you demon!"
"Yeah stay and fight didn't you kill half your clan? what are we to you!!" A big brown haired boy with a small sword taunted, as the group caught up to The girl as she fell down to the ground clouds of dirt billowing around her huffing and puffing form face red from exhaustion and fear.
"Please I..I didn't do that you have to believe me it was i—-" the brown haired girl tried to explain but was cut short from a hit from the hilt of the kid with a blade. The other bullies quickly joined in throwing kicks and punches at the girls downed form calling her demon.
Suddenly three red chakra chains sprang forward wrapping themselves like snakes around the necks of the boys with weapons as they struggled for breathe desperately clawing at the chains crushing their windpipes. The other two boys looked at their friends in horror getting off of the girl and turning to see a nine year old naruto who at 3'11 wasn't the most intimidating figure at a school yard but to them right now he might As well of been the shiganimi coming for their souls.
"What's the matter I thought you wanted to fight a demon I'll oblige you all!" Naruto said in a grim voice using his chains to throw the 3 unconscious boys into and through the wooden fencing surrounding the street.
"Umm n-no you misunderstand we were just playin right Yakumo haha" the blonde boy tried explaing laughing nervously but the girl Yakumo beneath him didn't answer tears still in her eyes.
"Seems like you're lying..hmm I think a chain through the foot you hit her with his punishment enough what do you think Yakumo?" Naruto asked the downed girl who's head quickly shot up to him as she got up running to hide behind the smaller boy protecting her she nodded in agreement.
Naruto sent out his chakra chain to inflict the desired damage he wanted when in a flash his chain was flung upward into the air with a clang away from the older bully who was drenched in Piss. Three Anbu including Yuguo-ni appeared before the Namikaze two had their Kunai pointing at his back and chest while his purple haired sensei in kenjutsu had a blade to his neck.
"Naruto Namikaze Rescend your chains now don't make us use force!" The boar faced Anbu said in a deep voice.
"What would my father do to you if you did use force?" Naruto asked smugly that line normally got the red and blonde haired boy out of most trouble but today was not one of those days.
"And what would Lady Kushina do to you if she knew what you were up to?" The purple haired Anbu Yuguo asked. A flashback of a previous incident came to the young boys mind. Naruto was running from his clan compound with the red indentation of a frying pan on his cheek before chains grabbed his ankle pulling him back towards his mother's wrath.
"Fine I won't harm them anymore you guys can leave now!" Naruto sighed out in exasperation every time he was about to pay back a bully they had to ruin his fun. The two Anbu men nodded before picking up the downed boys and disappearing presumely to a hospital. The purple haired woman still held her sword to the red and blonde haired boys throat before bending down to his ear.
"Naruto what did I tell you about fighting in the streets?" Naruto was about to answer when Yuguo cut him off "No don't say anything look at how these villagers perceive you now, you might not have the nine tails but keep acting like this and you might as well!"
Naruto looked over to the side, the streets vendors that littered the streets and civilians alike were all looking at him warily like a wild animal that might lash out at them.
"But-but I was protecting her you're acting like I did that for fun!" Naruto protested in a flare up of anger.
"About to put a Chain in the foot of one boy and crushing the others wind pipes, you were purposely sadistic you could've easily protected her without that and you know it, but since you want to deny it I'll come at you sadisticly in our next training session maybe you'll learn then.." Yuguo said making Naruto wave his hands comically protesting to no avail as the purple haired woman disappeared in a swirl of leaves.
Turning around the red and blonde haired Uzumaki changed the frown on his face to a smile he would have to worry about his sensei later atleast she wouldn't be telling his mom shuddering at the thought Naruto looked up at the girl he just saved he needed to make sure she was ok. holding out a hand for her to shake "hiya I'm Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze it's nice to meet you Yakumo!"
Instead of returning his handshake the older girl rushed him scooping him into a hug pulling his face to her nape because of their height difference, this made Naruto turn red from blushing but he slowly returned the hug back.
End of flashback Naruto age 12
Naruto chuckled at that memory. The purple haired Anbu definitely came at the fox ear haired child with an intention to kill the next time she trained him and he would of been dead if they hadn't sparred with wooden swords. Still the young Uzumaki swore that on cold nights he still felt those bruises. Looking across his room towards his katana sitting atop his dresser with its elegant but deadly gold and black blade a gift for graduating top of his class from Yuguo- sensei.
"Naruto time to eat today's a big day!!" Kushina's voice rang out from downstairs bringing the young man from his thoughts. pulling on his black and gold jacket alongside his black shinobi pants and shinobi sandals that matched his jacket, he made his way out his room grabbing his blade strapping it to his back before going down the stairs towards the kitchen, dodging the little missiles known as Mito followed closely behind by her brother Menma both stopping as soon as they registered him.
"Heya Naruto good luck with your team ni!" Mito said hugging her brother while Menma just crossed his arms.
"He doesn't need good luck sis Namikaze men rule!!" Menma said giving a goofy thumbs up to Naruto laughed giving him a nuggy on his blonde head as he freed himself from his sisters grasp as they all walked into the kitchen to grab a plate of their mother's cooking. Kushina looked at her oldest son with a look of pride but you could see the guilt behind her eyes.
"I'm proud of you just so you know Naruto graduating at the top of your class despite everything Y'know!" His mother said a warm smile adorned her face.
Which made Naruto blush from the praise, rare praise that just started occurring more, over the past two years from both his parents, ever since he had hospitalized 3 genin for trying to pick on him and Yakumo almost killing them.
"That's so cool nisan!! I'm going to be rookie of the year when it's my turn to graduate too just you watch! Pervy sage approves of my new kage level jutsu!" Menma said a cocky smile adorned his fox marked face.
His younger brother was always something else a cocky kid who seemed to run before he walked when he was younger. While Mito was getting exclusively trained by their mother his parents has agreed to have Jiraiya train Menma exclusively with Minato helping out whenever his kage duties allowed him reprieve so that the boy wouldn't feel left out or fall behind his twin sister.
"Oh let's see what you got then little bro!" Naruto said wondering just what jutsu Jiraiya taught him, Naruto's pride would never let him admit it now after getting passed over for his younger sibling but he still thought Jiraiya was the coolest Sannin.
"Alright!" Menma began charging his chakra using the ram handseal "transform!" A puff of smoke billowed throughout the Uzumaki-namikaze kitchen slowly dispersing to reveal a tall extremely busty blonde with pigtails nothing was left to the imagination the vision wore nothing only trails of smoke covered just enough of her naughty bits.
Bouncing up and down in excitement in front of Naruto Menma caused the blonde girls assets to do the same.
'Ugh Menma this this this...is ingenious!" Naruto thought seeing the perfect chest in front of him a river of blood shot out his nose as he was thrown backwards onto the floor dazed but not unconscious.
"Haha got you too nisan although it normally knocks people out, I told you this was a kage lev— WHAM poof". Kushina had seen enough using her fying pan no justsu the wife of the Hokage smashed Menma through the kitchen wall and into the living room unconscious with swirls for eyes his twin sister Mito running over to make sure her brother was alright.
"I'm going to kill that damn sage and Minato too damaging my poor sochi with perversion at such a young age and Naruto what have you been reading I better not see any magazines in your room!!" Kushina yelled muttering threats and curses towards the frog sannin.
Naruto having recovered from the busty surprise Left his finished plate on the table for his mom to clean up after she was done fuming, the new Genin slipped out his home headed towards the academy deep in thought.
Naruto even though a part of him hated his parents for making him the odd child out, in place of his more important siblings and shouldering the burden of hate for his younger sister he didn't hold that against his siblings and he stilled loved his misguided parents as much as he hated them too.
Naruto treated his siblings with a kind heart it wasn't their fault the shinobi world was such a cruel place. The young Namikaze on the day he was told he would be the "nine tails container" went to the library researching other jinchuriki in other villages just to find out that they were either pushed to the outskirts, shunned by their villagers or used as weapons of war.
Honestly Naruto was lucky to have lived here in konoha, the civilians and chunin brave enough to try to beat him knew they could only take it so far if a jonin, clan head, or kami forbid the hokages wife saw any mistreatment of Naruto they would quickly meet the shiganimi. After learning how to manifest his chains at will he would use them to stab any and all attackers, most had learned the hard way to back off keeping their indignation of him to themselves.
Naruto's thoughts had carried him past his clan compound gates and through the leafs bustling shopping districts, he walked along a marbled path a few miles away from the academy.
"Hey shorty!" Naruto was boinked on the back of the head by his only friend Yakumo Kuruma she had long brown hair that was braided one portion on the right side, She was wearing a purple and red kunochi outfit with her headband tied to her arm. Yakumo was around 5'6 easily being the tallest in their class that year whether it was the fact she was 13 almost 14 and the rest of the students including Naruto were 12 was yet to be seen. Yakumo was held back twice due to her being unable to pass the physical requirements her last two years.
"Hey I'm not short you're just giant!" Naruto said back to her with a tounge sticking out causing her to put a elbow on top of his head while they walked to the academy. At 4'9 he was still the smallest in his class and this was something they fought about all the time.
Size wasn't everything though as Naruto received top marks as someone of his heritage should. Top of the class in ninjutsu taijustsu although class work was another story. Instead of listening to Iruka and Mizuki drone on Naruto would dabble with fuinjutsu seals in his notebook. In all honesty Naruto should've been a Genin two years ago but his father wouldn't stand up to that damned civilian council that didn't want him becoming a ninja.
"Naruto who do you think our jonin sensei will be? I hope we get Rin Nohara she's so cool you know she was apart of team 7 with lord 4th and kakashi!" Yakumo said excitedly finally taking her arm off the top of his head bringing a hand to cup her chin in thought " I wonder what he looks like under that mask don't you Naruto didn't he come around when you were littler?"
"Yes he did and I can tell you there's another mask underneath his mask and another one and another and another one..." Naruto droned on and on his tone made kakashi seem like a villain in a scary movie. Yakumo giggled at his antics as the two rounded the corner seeing the three story tall academy doors for hopefully the last time.
Inside the home room were various other ninja of different clans none were of importance to Naruto he didn't even know their names as the instructor Mizuki if Naruto was correct called his fellow Genin ninjas out and what jonin squad they were assigned to finally getting to him.
"Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze
Yakumo Kuruma team 13 jonin sensei Rin Nohara"
The academy room became filled with chatter as the other Genin whispered amongst themselves.
"Only two on a team guess we should thank the 4th for not putting us on the reject squad" a inuzuka belt out.
"Yeah but their sensei is the Rin she's a beast!" A brash sounding kunochi called out. This continued for some time as one by one the room emptied as the jonin came for their charges.
Rin appeared 15 minutes after the announcement seemingly out of nowhere to most in the class room she was beautiful she had long brown hair and brown eyes with purple clan marks on her cheeks she had a kind but hardened gaze of someone that's seen their fair share of death, of kids dying far to young.
'I could barely see her move so that's the capability's of a leaf elite jonin' thought Naruto.
"Genin Naruto and Genin Yakumo meet me in training ground four you have 4 minutes if you can't make it don't bother coming."
With that Rin dissappeared leaving everyone in the classroom aghast. Four minutes to get from one side of the village to another was crazy for anyone under chunin.
"Naruto I don't know if I can do it you go on without..." Yakumo began obviously thinking about her stamina from her condition although it was much better now it was still the minimum for a Genin.
"Nonsense I wouldn't be the son of the Yellow flash if I could move fast hold on." Naruto yelled instantly holding his hands in the dog seal sign he concentrated his chakra until 6 chakra chains appeared from his back gold red and black in color the chains swirled around gently picking Yakumo up as Naruto took off in a blur.
Rin sat under a tree looking at the clouds thinking of times before the survivors guilt before the wars. She knew that telling a couple of fresh out the academy Genins to make it across the village in a chunin time was bordering on sadistic but she didn't care either they made or not plus it was the son of the Hokage and a once in a generation kunochi she had to knock em down a peg or two.
Naruto was not about to spend another year in the academy he was about 200 yards away from the training grounds he was just able to make out the form of his sensei. Quickly pulling his fingers into a crossed position Naruto made four clones appear beside him each going through the hand signs with him to use the gale palm jutsu.
"Yakumo remember when I said hold on tight this is the time to do it!" Naruto yelled calling his chains back to him as Yakumo straddled him piggy back style.
"Now!!!" Naruto jumped in the air his clones performing the Gale palm shot their blast at him and yukumo's airborne forms hitting them like a raging force enough to make his ears ring as they both were propelled like a rocket towards Rin.
"Alright now for the landing!!" Naruto shouted as they flew through the air.
"What!!!! you little moron that's the first thing you should of thought about!" Yakumo yelled as she let one of the hands holding on to Naruto for dear life off as she did one handed seals suddenly a pile of hay appeared right beside Rin as the two Genin both crashed into it with a thud bruised but not broken both got up shakily.
"Whoo! That was awesome I had no idea if that would work!!" Naruto said happily patting dirt off of his black shinobi pants before getting bumped in the head by a mad Yakumo.
"We could've died you idiot!"
"But we didn't... So did we make it in time Rin sensei?" Naruto asked ignoring Yakumo looking up at his teacher rubbing the knot forming on his head.
"4:44 seconds while carrying somebody else I'm impressed Naruto but you were too reckless you could've seriously injured yourself or your teammate what if this was a mission, you have to think things through before taking a drastic action think, was I ever really going to send you back to the academy for not making an impossible time.." Rin said looking down at the wild looking mix of Lady Kushina and Minato Sensei.
Naruto sweat dropped looking at Yakumo sheepishly 'that's does make a lot of sense actually how'd I not think about that!'
"Anyways let's get started you both will spar with me so I can access your capabilities and then you will meet your other squad mate. Oh and do come with the intent to kill I want to break a sweat!" The brunette taunted her charges stretching nonchalantly.
"You asked for it lady take this Water style water bullet!" Naruto yelled out a flashing through the seals a giant rifle of water zoomed towards Rin who disseappered beneath the earth moving to grab Naruto from the ground however Naruto left a flame bomb seal were he was standing the sizzling alerting Yakumo to jump away as the bomb exploded leaving a crater in the earth. Suddenly ground started shaking as if an earth quake was occurring large Boulder sized rocks were lauched towards the duo however Naruto stood in front of them holding up his hands.
"Uzumaki funjustsu activate:absorption!" The giant chakra rocks were absorb into his hands as Rin looked on in astonishment that a 12 year old was on this level. Most seasoned chunin weren't this good but this was no ordinary Genin Naruto was indeed her sensei's son.
Yakumo taking advantage of Rin's pause in action she activated her true life genjutsu instantly the ground changed grasping At Rin's legs holding her tight as Naruto was seen rushing closer to Rin holding his hands up.
"Uzumaki Fuinjutsu activate:release!!"
Giant chakra rocks shot out point blank as they crashed into the form of Rin causing dust to pile up as it settled a broken log was in his sensei's place, spinning around just in time Naruto unsheathed his short sword blocking Rin's blow to his side in a losing effort he grunted "what's up with you lady you're trying to kill me!!"
Rin tilted her head as the bout for dominance continued between them a smile came to her face "Naruto your parents never told you but I'm the second best medical ninja In the village I'll break you down and build you back up doesn't that sound like fun" Rin asked in a sing song voice her face donning a creepy smirk.
Naruto's face pales at his sensei's physotic response 'First Kakashi always wearing masks now her what was wrong with his fathers teaching' he thought as he was finally able to push her blade to the side of his quickly leaning back narrowly dodging a swipe at his neck backflipping away next to Yakumo who was drawing in her ninja note book suddenly four giant wolf monsters appeared charging at Rin.
Rin let off a cajole of giant water waves crashing against the wolfs causing them to melt away from the force. Not wasting anytime Naruto shot out 8 chains crashing into the earth wherever Rin appeared but the jonin evaded the chains with cat like agility running towards Naruto his chains closely behind her engaging in close combat somehow avoiding the spiked chains while managing to dodge blows from Yakumo who put her notebook aside to engage in taijustsu as well.
Growing tired of the fight Rin unleashes a huge water blast which Yakumo goes through hand signs using her true genjustsu changing the pressurized water into a gentle mist but doing so caused both Genin to lose sight of Rin.
Appearing quickly behind Yakumo and Naruto she held two Kunai to their throats faster than they could react.
"Congratulations Team Rin is officially back in action you two did a fantastic job I'd say you can take on just about any average chunin and get the job done...what did you think Kurenai?" Rin called out taking her knives away from the necks of her charges. A beautiful young woman with long black hair appeared from a tree she was tall around 5'10 she had on a green standard chunin vest her eyes were the most stunning red and seemed to hide a power beneath the surface when she caught your eye.
"A pipsqueak prodigy ninjutsu specialist and a genjutsu user who's techniques can come to life they definitely have talent but they won't replace Zaru and Yami." Kurenai said giving both of them a look over as she stood next to her sensei.
"Who are you calling a pipsqueak ya bimbo!!" Naruto yelled ignoring the complement that came after her insult. Making his way over to the black haired woman with murderous intention Kurenai's red eyes flashed with a purple minus appearing as an iris, Naruto's world changed no longer was he in the training grounds, Rin and Yakumo were no longer with him. He was knee deep in a pool of blood the world around him was tinted reddish black with those weird eyes replacing the sun of the training grounds.
'Where am I what's going on!!' Naruto though to himself panick causing his heart rate to increase was he going crazy! As soon as he had arrived Naruto was back at the training grounds he was tapped on the shoulder by Kurenai herself panicking at her sudden appearance Naruto fell on his butt with a startled Yelp as his bearings slowly came back into focus. Rin sensei was gone and Yakumo looked at him worried he had only moved one step forward and suddenly went rigid.
"Mission tomorrow eight o clock sharp Sensei said report at the Hokage tower be on time I won't be dragged down by a midget with a hot temper." Kurenai said shaking her head at how easy it was to catch him in a genjutsu as she disappeared in a swirl of leaves.
'What was that?' Naruto thought to himself as his breathing came out erraticly. She had caught him in a genjutsu just by looking in her eyes that wasn't a ordinary Genjutsu.
'she must have a dojutsu but which one the sharigan looks nothing like that!'
"Naruto are you okay?" Yakumo asked walking over to her friend she put a hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah I'm fine Yakumo just promise me you'll help me get better at genjutsu."
Yakumo slapped Naruto on the back hard leaping right out of her uncharacteristic worried behavior back to her abusive normal kind.
"Awe how could I say no to a cute little face like yoooo's" Yakumo finished saying in a baby voice with a blush poking at Naruto's hair ears as the two walked back to the village.
The next day the new squad of jonin Rin Nohara was atop a random roof in the village having gotten their D rank missions done meaning Naruto and Yakumo did all the work while Rin and surprisingly Kurenai laughed at the absurd tasks that the new Genin were forced to do like all Genin in their first month on a team.
"Alright everyone sit down. You too Kurenai just cause you got that jacket you're still my lil student." Rin ordered her team watching them all pick a spot in to sit before continuing " alright I know I should of done this on the first day but who cares about procedures am I right!?"
"No complaints here Sensei!" Naruto said smiling his rebel side poking through maybe he'd like her after all.
"Ahh so I know who the trouble maker is now too easy kid!" Rin laughed at her student
A sound that was becoming well known to both her new students. "Anyways tell me your likes dislikes and dreams Naruto you go first!"
Naruto crossed his arms over his chest as he began to talk "I like Ninjutsu and Fuinjutsu I like ramen and I like those girls in the books Pervy sage leaves around when he's training my siblings and I like Yakumo. My dislikes are those who would demonize what they don't understand, the civilians, people who neglect others and people that make fun of my height! my goal is to become a ninja so great he can't be ignored!" Naruto finished getting curious looks from Rin and Kurenai.
'Seems like he could be a flight risk in the future I should let Sensei know.' Rin thought to herself she was one of the few ninja that knew about the toad prophecy the sacrifices her sensei made to save the world were noble but his son resented him for it. Rin then beckoned Yakumo to go focusing her gaze on the younger brunette.
"I like genjutsu, and horror movies and Naruto I dislike bullies, taijutsu, and milk. My dream is to never lose control over my kekkai Genkai again and to become a legendary Kunochi with genjutsu!" Yakumo said with a blush on her cheeks at the mention of Naruto.
'Yes the heiress to the Kuruma clan, Minato sensei sealed away her dark personality after the incident. Yakumo's abilities are incredible although physically weaker than the average Genin her imagination could come to life from our spar I'd say her constructs are around chunin level at the moment.' Rin thought to herself she could possibly have one of the greatest teams in Leaf village history.
Not waiting for a signal to start kurenai began "my likes are genjutsu as well as my kekkai genkai And gardening. My dislikes are being forced to remain on a team with a pipsqeak Genin and his overgrown girlfriend and the Hokage thinking that they could replace Zaru and Yami. I dislike anyone who disrespects genjutsu and the Uchiha. My dream is to become a master of the shinobi arts and to carry on my clan." Kurenai finished getting a small frown from Yakumo in response while Naruto jumped up from his crouched position to stand in front of his older squad mate.
"What's your problem lady!!"
"Are you dumb or stupid boy?" Kurenai asked truly wondering if he listened to her dislikes at all. This statement was the straw that broke the camels back for Naruto however as he lunged at the red eyed teenager but was suddenly in the air hovering above Kurenai's smirking face, Rin had moved faster then they could notice holding a kicking Naruto in the air via his purple and black jacket.
"Kurenai like it or not you're still apart of my squad you can put in a request to transfer teams if you truly feel the need to but I won't acknowledge it and I will talk to Sensei about not accepting a transfer from you if you decide to go behind my back." Rin said still holding a writhing Naruto as Kurenai looked away from her sensu's burrowing eyes. "All I ask is that you wait six months and give these two a chance. I promise they won't be replacing Yami or Zaru they are their own individuals."
Kurenai had a sour look on her face but nodded her head in agreement.
"And you mister Namikaze you're short deal with it like an adult you're a shinobi now, boys hit their growth spurts later than girls, I don't need you flying off the handle over something so insignificant Understand me!?"
"Hai sensei." Naruto grumbled as his feet hit the ground again quickly walking off to sit beside a snickering Yakumo.
Rin sighed heavily this team was going to make her go back to working at the hospital atleast she could drink with Tsunade after a patient gave her a hard time.
