Naruto stood hanging sideways on his tree still next to Yakumo's croc construct, his purple eyes moved across the figures of the three adversaries in front of him particularly on the two taller and older individuals beside the bone spouting teen. The male wore a dark gray combat vest with a white shirt underneath and cargoed black shinobi pants he was tall around 6 feet tall he wore glasses that reminded Naruto of the main character his little sister's favorite book series about wizards of all things like magic could possibly be real. Naruto also observed The female Guren was about a head shorter than Kabuto
"What do you mean I'm orchimaru's obsession? I've only met that snake geezer once in my life I try to stay clear of pedo—" Naruto's sentence was cutoff as Kimmimaro rushed forward towards Naruto without Warning a hand outstretched facing naruto's body as many bullet bones left his fingertips shooting towards naruto with deadly speed.
'Shit too many to absorb with my seal technique gotta move' a chain appeared from his hand shooting forward into a tree reeling him away from the bones which tore into the tree he was previously on turning its bark into something resembling Swiss cheese.
'Powerful I've got to be careful!' Naruto thought. As he landed on another tree trunk above the bone and crystal spiked forest floor. Not a moment sooner two purple spikes shot through the air making naruto spin to avoid them both but while he was in the air received a kick to the gut from kimmimaro sending Naruto falling off the branch. Quickly recovering naruto used his chains once gain to save himself from a death upon the forest floor spikes using his chains he swung to an area of the forest where the floor was clear of anything large and sharp for the time being.
"Oh excellent use of those chakra chains Naruto quite ingenious!" Kabuto commended the blonde and red haired teen from his position in a tree.
Kimmimaro landed in the clearing twenty feet in front of Naruto with Guren landing next to him.
"Crockey your help would be appreciated right about now!" Naruto said and just like the the monstrous croc man landed with a thud making a crater where he stood eyeing their opponents Saliva dripped between its razor sharp teeth onto the floor.
Kimmimaro reached a hand behind his back with a sickening sound of bone being pulled through flesh a 3 and a half foot bone blade. Right next to him Guren held out her left hand placing her right above slowly with glow she moved her right hand as if polishing a blade where her hand was now appeared her signature crystal blade charging towards the crocodile man her quick slices too fast for the construct to properly dodge as its green body began to slowly begin being sliced apart as it was pushed back.
Pressing a hand to his forearm Naruto's blood soaked blade crimson blade appeared in his right hand just in time as the bone boy swiped downward towards his head, metal met bone as they both clashed dancing across the battle field waiving and flipping around their partners battle.
"Roooooar!!" The croc man roared as it's clawed hand swiped at the midsection of Guren who was forced to back away from the beast of be cut in two sliding across the dirt floor until a fireball flew in from behind her.
"What!! He has another teammate with him where?!" Guren yelled wide eyed as she tried to jump away from the blast radious of the fireball almost succeeding the explosion clipped her doing minimal damage but causing her to fly forward in the air uncontrolled as the croc construct rushed in donkey kicking Guren in her chest,blood flying from her mouth as she careens to the ground grabbing her chest.
Elsewhere only a few meters away from all the commotion Yakumo kneeled huffing slightly from chakra exhaustion 'Damnit Not a direct hit but I know that did some damage three more attacks left.'
'Clang clang clang zip zing!" Was heard around Guren's battle as bone sword met crimson metal,bones stronger than steel shoot form Kimmimaro's body curving at odd angles making it incredibly difficult for Naruto to land an effective slice likewise in the heat of battle naruto released his chakra chains as they blocked any bones that Naruto's blade didn't destroy first.
"I see now why Lord orichimaru considers you my rival but I will be his only vessel by destroying you here and now!" Kimmimaro said sternly. Giving up on sword combat with his bone blade the bone boy began stabbing at Naruto with bones protruding from all points of his body only to be met with the golden and red chains of the Uzumaki at every turn.
"Whatever that pedo snake wants with me about a vessel you can have it!" Naruto replied back in disgust, as his chakra chains began outpacing the white haired teens bones slashes began appearing on his body.
"Enough playing around you're dead and whoever made you is dead too! Crystal barrage Justu!!" Guren yelled weaving her hand seals as crystals the size of a human torso shot towards the crocodile man skewring him in place unmoving like a statue green blood dripping from its wounds until it dissipated.
"Now to find our unwelcomed guest oooor" Guren began speaking louder knowing that whoever this boys teammate was they would be close enough to hear her speak "Should I overwhelm your teammate as you watch safely… hmm."
Without giving an answer aloud Guren turned towards kimmimaro and Naruto's fight seeing two of naruto's golden red chains circle around kimmimaro's bone defense piercing into his body's left side poking razor sharp tips shown through his back pausing all of the teens movements. Naruto commanded his chains to pull apart in opposite directions intending on ripping bone boy in half!
Kimmimaro began to yell in agony but kimmimaro's body was proving incredibly more durable than a normal shinobi's which would of been ripped apart in less than a second allowing Guren to make her move.
Purple crystal began forming around Naruto's legs preventing him from moving as she ran in to engage the trapped boy with a newly formed crystal sword.
'Shit' naruto thought to himself commanding his chains to fling kimmimaro's wounded body through a tree as he bounced off the ground four hundred yards away slowly trying to recover. Simultaneously Naruto put his hands into a cross, six more Naruto's appeared surrounding him like a ring of protection their swords at the ready Three of the six clones rushed towards the purple haired kunoichi as she engaged the first parrying a few swipes before she was able to find an opening in the clones attack pattern slicing it in half with a poof, evenloping herself in crystal as the other two clones swords stabbed into the crystal bouncing off.
Quickly inside the purple construct Guren did two hand seals causing spike to erupt stabbing into the two off balance clones of Naruto making them both disappear in a cloud of smoke.
"No naruto!" Yakumo whispered as she watched the battle from afar knowing she had to use another one of her jutsu's. Yakumo went through her usual set of hand seals to perform her true life genjutsu as Guren destroyed the last two clones protecting the stuck naruto. Using her imagination she imagined the crystal surrounding Naruto to shatter freeing him a moment later and a wave of exhaustion moving through her causing her invisibility illusion to falter catching the attention of a certain glasses wearing man. Within a moment he appeared behind the once invisible Yakumo holding a scalpel to her throat and a hand covering her mouth preventing her from screaming to alert Naruto.
"Just enjoy the show oh and don't try anything I doubt it would work I can tell you're on your last legs being a medic nin it's my duty to inform you one more jutsu and you could die and my master would not want that." The older Kabuto spoke into the ear of the terrified Yakumo who was still breathing and sweating heavily from her last jutsu.
Guren charges forward jumping over the two clouds of smoke that were the former blond and red haired boy's clones. She was going in for an aerial finishing blow her crystal sword aimed right for Naruto's crown. The purple haired woman dodged all of his chakra chains weaving her body around the constructs of energy like a snake. Those extra moments provided by his chains were just enough absound like broken glass signified that the purple crystals incasing his legs had shattered 'no doubt Yakumo's doing Thank you!' Naruto thought in that instant, moving his body to the side enough that the crystal sword instead of stabbing straight through the top of his head it only grazed the side of his face leaving a wide eyed Guren vunerable his Uzumaki chains coming alive four chains wrapping her up then slamming her into the forest floor unable to spring forth crystal to encase her body, Guren took the full impact shattering her bones she laid in a crater moaning in pain.
"Well two down one more to go. Now to finish this." Naruto walked forward beginning to raise his arm as one of the chains in his back that wasn't holding the woman down moved slowly closer to her until suddenly the golden red spiked chain shot towards her, Guren closed her eyes awaiting the pain of her death moments passed yet death hadn't happened to her. Standing in front of her was Kabuto her master's right hand man. Kabuto held a tall girl in red and white robes that was about a ninja class or two younger than Guren in front of himself with a scalpel to her neck a taunt chakra chain was just an inch away from going into the skull of Yakumo.
"Now now Naruto what would your father say if he knew you were about to kill your own teammate." The glasses wearing shinobi smirked looking down at the bicolored boys scowling purple eyes.
"Let Yakumo go you bastard what do you want one of our scrolls.. I'll—-" Naruto began through gritted teeth he was seeing red at the moment. His best friend was a moments breath away from death and it all depended on what this stranger wanted.
"Haha scrolls my dear Naruto no no no, my master orichimaru has taken a great interest in you and well truthfully also in kimmimaro and Guren what better place to observe who's the best choice than the chunin exams."
"I don't understand his best choice for what bone boy spoke about a vessel. what could the snake pedo possibly want with me like I'd ever willingly join him I might not like the villagers but this is my home?!" Naruto questioned in almost a yell.
"Oh that's fine to think for now ,but Master can be quite enticing Naruto you never know what can occur in the future I'll be seeing you Naruto." Kabuto said pushing Yakumo forward into the arms of Naruto who's spiked chains shot towards Kabuto and Guren but both shushined out of the way just in time the spiked chains crashing into the dirt ground cracking the earth. Disappearing into the forest presumably to regroup with the bone boy.
"Damnit they got away! Are you alright Yakumo?" Naruto held the older girl up one of her arms around his neck for support as she Leaned on him.
"I'm fine I'm sorry for getting captured Naruto kun it won't happen again!" Yakumo said in a tired voice. "That was a wierd battle almost like they wanted to kill you but the older one Kabuto was just getting data from you as you fought but what could the snake Sannin want with you?"
As if on cue naruto retracted his chain spikes back into his body. "It has something to do with the chakra chains I inherited from my mother also he had quite the bitter rivalry with my father but let's wonder about the details once we get to the tower I'm getting tired of this forest." Naruto said as the both began the long journey to the completion of the second part of the chunin exams.
