Naruto waited inside a large concrete tunnel in the chunin exam's stadium he could hear the roar of the crowd the announcer riling them up into a frenzy as he began calling out the participants names and what country they hailed from. Next to Naruto stood Yakumo in a new red and white scheme garb the torso was in the style of kurenai's own except hers at the waist parted into a flowing robe she wore steel plates on her shins like the ones on her wrist.
'She looks amazing!' Naruto thought to himself
Naruto held her wrapped hands as she too checked out her teammate now theoretical enemy in this free for all. Naruto wore a wore a red overcoat begrudgingly similar to his fathers own his coat the designs of his golden chains in the shape of Golden fire chains throughout its design. Underneath that overcoat naruto wore his a black light track jacket with a purple stripe going down its middle his ninja pants were a dark burgundy like red to match his overcoat.
'He looks so handsome!' Yakumo thought to herself. In that moment it was just the two of them no enormous crowd yelling their asses off no eyes from their competiton. No yelling from an Uchiha we're heard as Naruto and Yakumo shared a kiss.
'A girl can get used to that!' Yakumo thought so herself with a blush being interrupted by the third remaining shinobi of the leaf.
"Would you two focus up we're almost up and everyone's looking at us don't make me a target by association!" Kamacha Uchiha said his silky black hair was tied back in a ponytail he wore the typical black and dark blue Uchiha outfit his sharingan was also activated surprising Naruto that he had all three tomoi of a mature sharingan. All of the remaining participants on the tunnel were staring at them some chuckling others scowling thinking they were making light of the competiton.
As if on cue an orange haired female member of kiri remaining stepped forward licking her lips as she eyed Naruto in particular alongside Kamacha rubbing a nailed finger across Naruto's chest causing him to blush slightly at the older kunochi's antics.
"You two must be careful seeing you kiss like that makes me want to join but you see my kisses are just too hot!" The orange haired lady said in a haunty voice blowing a kiss towards Naruto as she blew over her hand passed a lava heart that made its way towards Naruto burning into his neck leaving a hickey like scar. Kamacha was standing beside them his face in awe at the random kunoichi's antics
"You bimbo aren't you a little too old to be in a chunin exams anyways why don't you go flirt with someone your own age!!" Yakumo yelled stepping in front of a dazed Naruto who was thinking in his head about how this exact scene had been written in his godfather's icha icha fire princess series.
"I'm 18 years old I don't look older than you besides the well aheem" the older woman look down at he mesh and blue silk covered chest which seemed to jiggle at just that slight motion. "Some of us can't help but to be blessed by the goddess of beauty."
"Goddess of beauty my ass and atleast I look 16 I thought you were a 30 year old tryin to rob the cradle with my boyfriend by the way they hang!!" Yakumo shot back making the busty orange haired mist kunochi turn red in anger.
"You little bi—-"
"Now coming to the stadium from the hidden mist…" the announcer's energetic voice peirced through the argument.
With a sigh the orange haired woman sighed before smiling again towards Naruto "The names Mei Terumī see you around cutie." Mei turned from the trio of leaf shinobi giving a cute wave at Naruto before exiting the stadium tunnel to applause from the crowd louder than anyone else before particularly from the male population.
"Does this happen to you all the time Namikaze!?" Naruto nodded remembering back to the mission he was called chibi kun for a whole journey.
'I might need to be his friend!' the Uchiha thought to himself before he coughed in his hand trying to regain his serious composure.
"Anyways before all of that I was going to say-" the Uchiha was interrupted yet again as a pink eyed kunochi approached the trio with a blonde hair teen who's hair was in a ponytail he hade a scoped monocle over his right eye. Feet behind them with arms crossed and feigning like he wasn't paying attention was their third teammate.
"You will pay for the sins of you father and mother Uzumaki Namikaze!!" Kurotsuchi yelled standing in front of the trio "the deaths of my mother and countless other Iwa ninja will be avenged today the yellow flash and red death of konoha's oldest legacy will end in this!" With that said the angry 14 year old granddaughter of Ōnoki stormed off as the announcer began his introduction for the countryman of Iwa.
"I hope we can create a masterpiece together!" Deidra walked off following behind Kurotsuchi and jibachi Kamizuru as they walk d out the tunnel to applause from the crowd.
Kamacha Uchiha grumbled at being interrupted from speaking yet again before speaking to Naruto and Yakumo for the third time " what I was trying to say earlier is that I know in the end we are all enemies but until that moment comes I would like to work together with you all to overcome our opponents."
Naruto nodded at the Uchiha "I like the way you think we came up with a plan on the way to the stadium tell me what you think!"
Naruto began explaining Yakumo's and his plan, not a moment after he was done explaining was the announcer finally calling them forward.
"From your very own village hidden in the leaf I give you Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze the son of the one and only fourth Hokage and red death!" The crowd roared in excitement yells of approval and a lot of boos from leaf civilians that were mostly drowned out many clients looked at the teen intently wondering how a second coming of the yellow flash could help their businesses or motives. While others like those in the kage box eyes wided seeing the hokages brat for the first time.
"So that your son!" Ōnoki said a sly tone to his voice implying that now the ninja world knew what minato's son looked like he would never exactly be safe from harm from his enemies outside of the village on missions.
"Yes he is my son!" Minato said proud of his seed he had the talent of both himself and his beautiful mother he'd gotten so strong without himself and him mother for the most part sure he sent a clone every once in a while when he was younger and Kushina did so alot more than him but he couldn't take credit for his son's strength it was all Naruto.
'Good luck Naruto!' Pakura thought to herself standing beside the kazekage as his escort looking into the arena below.
Kushina sat in the stands waving excitedly at her son her yells gaining the ire of a civilian citizen that was annoyed from her antics.
"Hey lady how about you stop cheering for that demon spawn if you know what's good for ya—" a instant later and words unsaid still floating in the ears of Menma and Mito Kushina had punched the civilian so hard he sat backdown into the stadium seats cracking the chair and concrete the chair was attached too before going back to screaming support for her sochi. Rin and kurenai sat together next to the cheering Kushina not bating a eye at the violence that occurred beside them.
Jiraiya sat beside Menma having Kakashi be the escort for Minato this go around seeing he student's mothers antics made the Sage think of another beautiful woman his own age with monstrous strength. Rin and kurenai sat together next to the cheering Kushina
"Yakumo Kuruma the Genjutsu princess of the leaf!" A smaller but still loud yell was heard through the stadium as the announcer continued speaking into the microphone. " and lastly Kamacha Uchiha of the sharigan eye!!" The crowd busted out in a raucous yell I'm support for the Uchiha clan member.
All 13 participants lined up facing one another has the proctor for the finale began to explain the rules of engagement. "All jutsu are allowed but No purposeful killing if a shinobi dies by accident then no fault will be given to the ninja who technically did the deed. This is a battle of strength and will even if you don't win today the strategies you use today will determine if you earn the rank chunin!" The proctor jumped backwards beginning his countdown Naruto and Yakumo began kneading chakra waiting for the Go signal to enact their plan.
"3-2-1-go!"
Naruto crossed his hands in a familiar seal as six different versions of himself, Yakumo, and Kamacha appeared as the original Yakumo did her hand seals for her true life Genjutsu imagining all three of them invisible so that only they could see each other. Immediately A glob of super heated quick slime landed on two Naruto clones as they screamed in pain before proofing away earning a damnit as Kurotscuchi chased after another naruto clones that ducked and dodged her attacks before meeting a similar fate as the first two clones. While all of this commotion was going on the real Naruto walked quietly to a discreet portion of the arena sitting down and watching the battles unfold as their clones fought in the battle Royal for them for the time being unbeknownst to everyone in the arena except the S ranked shinobi thought so them disappear as the clones appeared.
Kurotsuchi exchanged blows with another Naruto clone who brought out its katana as it swung and sliced at the dark haired warrior only meeting cold steel or air in return. After one such miss the clones feet are kicked out from underneath it as the stone shinobi backflips away from the clone as it falls spitting a waterfall of quicklime lava at the clone when another wave of molten lava crashes into the first as the two waves battled for dominance this gave the clone enough time to move out of the way passing a winking Mei as she turned her attention toward the Tsuchikage's granddaughter.
"What are you doing kiri you should want the son of the yellow flash dead too to balance the power of the shinobi world!" Kurotsuchi yelled flashing through hand seals as pillars of spiked rocks appeared around Mei who weaves seals spitting out spinning like a top a crescent of lava cutting the pillars before the could harm her.
"In your anger you couldn't tell that you were fighting a clone wasting chakra and besides what kind of woman let's someone kill their future husband!" Mei shouted causing the roaring crowd to go quiet for a moment.
"What really that pipsqueak come get ya real man!!!" A belligerent beared man could be heard yelling in the crowd with many others voicing their displeasure at her choice including the toad Sannin who was booing loudly beside Menma and a standing Kushina yelling boo's at the orange haired woman while shaking her fist "stay away from my son you cradle robber!!"
Deidra began flying through the sky as the ground floor was becoming to hectic for his taste looking into the kage booth for a second he saw Ōnoki's glaring eyes the Tsuchikage already knowing the technique that allowed one to fly atop clay creations. Smiling wide Deidra already knew his days in Iwa were numbered might as well put on a show for any clients that might be interested in his art in the future, turn his hands towards the kages the mouth on his hands sticking its tongue out before it went into a pouch coming back up chewing on white clay infusing his chakra into the clay his hand mouth spit up many tiny spiders in his hand grabbing a couple as he flew over the arena dropping a swarm on the unsuspecting fighters below who were preoccupied with each other.
Darui's lighting covered sword clashed with raiga's own thunder blade from the hidden mist their battle was only visible to the trained eyes of an experienced shinobi. White spider bombs from Deidara fell onto the arena floor causing multiple explosions as the blonde haired shinobi laughed somewhat manically at the handiwork of his art creating craters and making his opponents jump around to avoid his creations.
"How drab I was looking to have fun battling a fellow swordsman but blondey up there is ruining the moment." Darui said sheathing his chopper of a blade the darkskinned Kumo shinobi hands began flashing "let's say we end this battle now I've been working on this jutsu for a while Gale style: laser circus!" Darui pointed his hands clasped together towards the dual sword wielding Raiga incredibly bright blue plasma lightening shot towards him.
"Haha that's fine with me maybe I'll throw a funeral for you after this!" Raiga yelled raising his dual swords up into the air as a lightening bolt was called down from the sky mixing with his own chakra. Pointing both his blades towards the kumo ninjas beam his raw lightening collided with the powerful condescend beam as both energy's struggled for dominance as explosions continued to go off around them creating a beautiful expect lightshow for the crowd ooing in awe at the show and so was a certain blonde bomber mesmerized by the colors from the arena.
"I'm sorry but this is gonna hurt good battle!" Darui said calmly as he spread apart two fingers from his clasped hands at the same time two beams of lightning split from the main spiraling towards the yelling Raiga who was blinded by his own lightening to see these beams twist around and pierce through his lung and thigh as the wounds cauterized immediately leaving Raiga to drop his legendary swords to the arena floor as he passed out from blood loss. Almost immediately a masked Anbu appeared next to raigas body then disappeared taking the adult genin's body to the medical area to save his life.
Meanwhile under the invisibility jutsu of Yakumo, Naruto had begun to paint different seals first creating a barrier around them in their hiding spot to protect them from stray Kunai or explosions, once that was completed he started to craft his gravity and explosion seals placing them on scrolls he discreetly placed them around the arena hanging the scrolls in strategic positions hanging them into rubble. He added a few special seals for good measure that he and Yakumo had created earlier in the year but never tried before.
Naruto made his way back to the hiding spot Yakumo had made for them having to duck and roll out of the way of exploding bubbles and spiders looking up in the sky he saw the blonde shinobi from the tunnel that kept talking about art and in the sky with him was a tall teen about Yakumo's age maybe a year older he had long black hair that hung around his chin and loose blue robes that showed his chest the strangest thing about the man was he stood atop a floating bubble using a flute like tool to blow smaller bubbles that exploded around the blonde Iwa shinobi turning his attention from the sky Naruto cursed as he ducked just in time as two streams of different lava met where he had stood. On the ground naruto had to hold up his hands activating his Uzumaki sealing technique catching the dripping lava that threatened to drop down on him before the streams cooled.
Yakumo laughed aloud while kamacha chuckled at his hilarious attempts to be like menma's favorite hero's technique ultra instinct avoiding and spinning around Mei and kurotsuchi who were now locked in a taijutsu clash after stalemating jutsu, with Naruto in between them weaving between their strikes until finally with an exaggerated roll he made it to the still Laughing Yakumo and Kamacha as they began to watch the rest of the free all battles to keep their opponents still thinking they were actively participating in the battle, the Uzumaki created three more sets of clones of him and his comrades concentrating hard to make them appear on the other side of the arena to not give away their position.
"You're making wonderful art help me put on a show!" Deidara yelled flying around Utakata on his bubble throwing more c4 spiders at the flute carrying man.
Utakata blew into his flute causing multiple different bubbles to come forth each encircling the spider bombs sending the bubbles back towards the flying bombs man who's eyes widened detonating his bombs before the bubbles could get close a cloud of smoke obscured Utakata's vision.
Two Deidara's flew through the smoke one dive bombing straight towards the bubble boy. The bomber was fifty yards away closing in fast when a bubble surrounded the clones head drowning it as the clay bird he flew on began to lose altitude struggling to stay councious 20 yards away before the blonde was out of range of the bubble man he gargled out a "katsu!" He began to glow bright before exploding meters away from Utakata who slipped inside his floating bubble bouncing around the stadium from the shockwave as the crowd shielded their eyes as debris and dust swept forth.
Deidra put his hands in his clay pouches beginning to mold another creation looking down at the safe but dazed floating bubble boy as the bomber created his largest creation yet his hands spitting out three clay centipedes which leapt down from the clay bird landing and burrowing into Utakata's protective bubble until they wrapped around the slender robe wearing man who's eyes went wide in shock before a yell of katsu and the roar of the crowd was the last thing he heard before "BOOOM!" He alongside his bubble blew apart water splashing onto the contestants below and the crowd who gasped in shock at the gruesome display.
"Art is an explosion hahaha now who is my next target!" Deidara did a celebratory loop in the sky before he descended down closer to the arena ground picking out his next target when Utakata reappeared using his water release bubble concealment jutsu. His bubble merged into Deidara as both he and Utakata floated up away from the clay bird both exchanging blows within the bubble.
Deidara was outside of his comfort zone being a long distance fighter taijustsu wasn't his specialty, none of his punches or kicks landed while all of the bubble boy's did leaving the bomber bruised and battered. Utakata slipped from outside of his bubble landing on the cratered arena floor closing his eyes he concentrated his tailed beast chakra with his water release blowing a dark purple bubble into the bombers prison bubble combining leaving Deidara's head visible as he began to scream in pain.
"You have thirty seconds before the burns from the acid inside your bubble melt you give up!" Utakata said in his calm voice as the blonde bomber continued to scream nodding his head in painful agreement. The flute man released his jutsu as the smoking and red form of Deidara fell to the arena floor as another masked Anbu picked him up before disappearing once more taking the downed fighter to the medics.
"LOOK AT THAT FOLKS AN EXPLOSIVE BATTLE COMES TO A END! STAY IN YOUR SEATS YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS A SECOND OF THIS!" The announcer yelled his voice echoing across the stadium as the crowd continued to cheer.
Up in the kage box Ōnoki scowled at his apprentices performance not only did he lose but he loss because of his reckless devil may care attitude.
"Your shinobi was quite talented Tsuchikage!" The Hokage said politely.
"Yes he is indeed to foolhardy for his own good that Utakata held his cards to his chest using Deidara's own tactics against himself!" The Tsuchikage said with all the other kage nodding their heads in agreement as they turned to continue watching the exams below.
Back down in the arena Utakata twisted his back, back and forth popping it as he stretched lightly. His battle with Deidara had put him less than fifteen feet from where the leaf shinobi hid under Yakumo's invisibility Genjutsu. His black bangs moved out of the way as he turned his head looking directly at the groups hiding position locking eyes with the invisible Naruto.
"Funny I was thinking about doing the samething until the numbers were low enough!" Utakata said thinking about how just before he was going to do his bubble concealment jutsu at the beginning of the free for all but he was attacked. "Reveal yourselves now or I'll blow your cover literally."
The group gasped at being caught preparing to drop the invisibility Genjutsu when a completely transformed Yugito rushed through their side of the stadium claws swiping at any foe not allied with kumo. It seemed to Naruto that although it was a free for all all participants were teaming up with their fellow land's shinobi until the end just like Naruto's group was doing.
This violent assault by the two tailed jinchuriki made Utakata lean backwards as fiery blue claws swiped at the older teen who weaved around the blows with amazing grace. One moment the clawed fiery paw of the two tails came crashing down towards the bubble man but thinking on his feet the man blew out a countless stream of bubbles aimed right at the paw coming towards him while also wrapping himself up in a giant bubble for protection. Clawed fiery paw meet explosive bubbles as the force cancelled out making the cat stop in its tracks while Utakata bounced away safely from the fire cat.
"Come back and fight six tails!!" Yugito screamed her voice a perfect mix of her's and the cat's as she charged after the floating away form of Utakata.
"Don't think anyone forgot about you leaf twerps my bees can smell where you are no need for sight now Dodge this bee bomb jutsu!!" Jibachi yelled as a swarm of giant bees flew straight towards the hidden group the bees all landed next to the trio as they began to explode one after the other in quick succession shaking the arena.
As the smoke settled it revealed Naruto holding a scroll as smoke rose off of a blue chakra dome produced by his scroll that protected them from the explosive tag barrage Naruto was about to engage the opponent when Kamacha Uchiha grab his shoulder and Yakumo's.
"You two go ahead and find another battle I havnt done anything all day there's no way I reach chunin if I follow after y'all all match!" Kamacha said earning a nod from both Naruto and Yakumo as the ninja jumped away from Uchiha and the bee user.
"Do you really think you can defeat me Sharigan or not it won't help you dodge this! Bee bomb jutsu bee sting jutsu and bee wax jutsu!!" Jibachi the bee user screamed going through three different sets of seals eager to destroy the Uchiha in front of him.
Kamacha's sharigan spun as he was able to see every bee in the swarm quickly going through hand signs he threw multiple shruiken as they became enflamed searching for for the bees with exploding tags making contact creating a explosions that rivaled some of what the blonde bomber was doing earlier.
Still on the move the Uchiha duck and dodge the many stingers shooting his way weaving between the trees in the arena the stingers stuck in deep.
"You can't hide from these bee's Uchiha they have your scent!!" Jibachi said walking thru the trees after Kamacha. The bee nin's words were true as a swarm of bees surrounded him trying to attack with stingers forcing the Uchiha to use a Kunai to defend against their strikes with the help of the sharigan he was ble to do just that slashing all of the bees surrounding him as they split apart the bees turned into a waxy substance encasing his body up to his head immobilizing the Uchiha.
"Damnit!" Kamacha yelled struggling against the hardened wax around his body.
"It's no use that wax is as strong as steel once it's dry struggle all you like!" Jibachi said as he strolled up to the downed leaf shinobi placing a foot on the chest of Kamacha mocking him he rest a his arm on the raised leg. Looking into the eyes of the trapped Uchiha.
"Here I was thinking insects didn't play with their food!" Kamacha said the signature sound of the sharigan could be heard as Jibachi suddenly fell over his body rigid as stone mouth agape in shock.
Once it was shown that Jibachi wasn't going to be moving anytime soon another masked Anbu swooped in carrying away the downed Iwa ninja leaving the immobilized Kamacha to comically try to inch worm himself to the body of water that was in the arena to free himself.
Meanwhile Naruto finally threw himself into the action he had told a reluctant but accepting Yakumo that he agreed with Kamacha that they should go forth on their own and if any of them were in dire circumstances they would intervene. The young Genin was now Holding a hand seal he concentrated his chakra while chasing after the large fiery cat demon causing destruction throughout the arena from chasing Utakata's bubble around.
Naruto's golden red chakra chains emerged from his back launching towards the running fire demon, a chain crashed constricting around the beast neck stopping all of its momentum as it fell on its back; even more chains wrapped around its legs preventing it from moving as it squirmed and move causing shudders like earthquakes from its attempt to free itself. A large ball of fire began forming from the blue cats mouth the heat in the arena rose dramatically the ball of destruction was launched high into the sky exploding spreading a wave a heat upon the crowd.
Naruto's chains held strong as they drained the chakra from Yugito's tailed beast a technique his mother taught him during the week of helping her and his sister Mito train. A few more feeble fire balls were shot out of the demons mouth before the blue beast finally dissipated with a roar revealing a passed out Yugito in his chains releasing her onto the ground a Anbu quickly moved in grabbing her before disappearing once more.
The blonde and red head teen scanned the chaos that was the arena craters covered the dirt floor smoldering flames burned in certain corners it looked like a complete war zone. Once again in the distance a water jet jutsu from Mei blasted through rock barrier of Kurotsuchi who rolled out of the way just in time as her rocks were blasted apart by the
Orange haired shinobi's wave that kept moving sweeping an unsuspecting Samui away who was previously engaged and winning a battle of Kunai vs katana against Yakumo who's forte had never been taijutsu let alone kenjutsu , the Genjutsu specialist used her true light Genjutsu to imagine herself teleporting out of the wave on solid ground not wasting a moment she unsealed her notebook drawing a lightening bolt striking the wave with Samui in it while also drawing two Samurai warriors beside her.
Quickly rolling up and sealing her scroll her drawings came to life as a recovering Samui began to stand atop the lake within the stadium that the wave had swept her into a lightening bolt blasted down striking her and the unfortunate Kamacha who had just made his way to the lake screaming
"Yes!!" using the water to free himself from the wax he was about half way free when he saw the lightening bolt aimed for Samui he screamed a "NOOO!" As his lower half was still submerged in the lake, both of the shinobi shook from the currents of electricity and started smoking before passing out,two Anbu quickly saved the two Genin from further damage grabbing them before they sunk into the electrified water.
"Oh kami sorry Kamacha San!!!" Yakumo yelled before grimacing her prisoner clawed at the back of her mind showing its presence once more because she used her notebook abilities. Pushing the demon Ida back down Yakumo took off with her two samurai guards towards Kurotsuchi and Mei's every lasting battle.
"So you're Pakura sensei's elder student I'm interested to see your fighting style let's make her proud Maki San! " Naruto said looking at the older girl who had short brunette hair with the suna headband around her forehead on her cheeks were purple war marks like the inuzuka clan of konoha. She had on a tan cropped short sleeve shirt revealing her abs and a black short ninja skirt with white wrappings covering her legs down to her shinobi sandals,She had a giant scroll attached to her back which Naruto assumed cantained an assortment of weapons that she could shoot out at him.
"I as well Master Pakura spoke incredibly highly of you let's have a good fight!" Maki put her fist in her palm bowing towards Naruto as he did the same both rising as Maki unhitched her giant scroll unwrapping it as it flowed around her like it was alive. At the same time naruto unsealed his Katana swinging it in a display of showmanship for the crowd before he settled into his stance motioning for Maki to make the first move.
