Beast Boy knew Starfire and Cyborg were waiting impatiently with a billion questions, but they didn't matter. They could wait until he and, more importantly Raven, were damn good and ready to answer their questions. He feathered his fingers through her short hair as they stood there holding each other tightly.

"Mockingbird, did you know about this?" Cyborg asked, looking at the thirteen-year-old as she seemed to know without a word being spoken, she needed to get out of Beast Boy's way.

"I will neither confirm nor deny any knowledge of this." She said putting her hands up in a surrender position.

"C'mon, Mockingbird, you're a telepath and her cousin, you've seen all of our nightmares you really want us to believe you had no idea Raven and Beast Boy were a thing." Cyborg deadpanned unbelievingly.

"I'm not confirming or denying anything, Cyborg, it isn't my place to comment on my cousin and her love life or lack-there-of." Mockingbird replied but it was clear she was almost as exhausted as Raven was. Raven was only worse because she was still feeling the effects of the pain medication Felicity had given her.

She wasn't looking at Cyborg and the older teen realized he was putting an unnecessary level of pressure on Mockingbird to talk about things that, like she said, weren't her place to talk about. He especially realized he was pushing too hard when she wiped a tear from her cheek. Sure, he could get her to crack and spill if he wanted to but the damage that would cause would be devastating to his relationship with her especially when the information was not that important. Beast Boy and Raven would tell them in their own time exactly what the nature of their new relationship was and how long it had taken to build to this point. He let up and gave Mockingbird a reassuring side hug.

"It's all good, we'll find out in time…"

"What happened?" Beast Boy asked Raven gently, his hand coming to rest at the base of her neck.

"Not here…" she whispered into his skin "it's hard for me to talk about."

He nodded gently.

"Show me where we can go." He said and she guided him into the bedroom, and he closed the door behind them. He knew this conversation was one that didn't need an audience; it was hard enough at times for Raven to deal with her own emotions without it becoming a spectacle. The good part about what that parasite did was it meant that her powers wouldn't go haywire with the turbulent emotions she was feeling.

"Raven, I saw what happened to you in the fight… I can't imagine how much that hurt."

"The parasite's attack or the bird-a-rang?"

"Either one… both," he sighed.

"The parasite was bad… I can't even describe what that felt like… except perhaps that he was pulling every bit of my energy out of my body… then the bird-a-rang hit me and… that compounded with the parasite was just more than I can describe." She sighed. She was sure he realized she was barely staying awake, and she was confused as to how Mockingbird was doing it being she was younger and smaller than her.

He sat beside her on the bed and drew her near her back to his chest as she began to walk him through her first minutes on this Earth, and the terror she had felt looking at team Arrow for the first time.

Beast Boy was stunned exactly how hard those tense few minutes were for her with just Arrow, Arsenal and Diggle to turn to before Diggle had proven he was okay. He knew how she was with new people and that wasn't aided by the fact that she had no means by way to defend herself other than hand to hand combat to which she was proficient but if pitted against the likes of Arrow, Arsenal or Diggle she would have been profoundly out of her weight class.

She calmed down and they made eye contact then Beast Boy leaned in and claimed her lips in a kiss. She returned it nervously. She knew what the others had seen, knew they would have questions, but she was worried one of them would walk in on this. Then she realized he wasn't worried and tried to push her own worries out of her mind.

The kiss was uninterrupted and broke quietly. Then he encouraged her to try to get some more sleep, but this time he'd be there to hold her. She just felt she had to look in on Mockingbird first

They looked through the door into the main room and were unsurprised to see the younger girl was doing arguably worse than Raven was from a mental standpoint due to her young age. She looked as if she had been crying and they didn't know why. The only thing was she had Cyborg and Starfire with her.

She was sitting in the chair Raven had been using and Cyborg was on one knee in front of her in a position reminiscent of a man proposing. She couldn't hear what he was saying but somehow, he managed to get a watery smile out of her. Raven wasn't sure what had caused Mockingbird to cry, likely exhaustion, she felt her emotions were a little too sensitive as well, but she was sure Cyborg and Starfire would take care of her.

Raven could hear Starfire, but she wasn't speaking English. Raven had learned that Mockingbird and Starfire often spoke Filipino among themselves. Mockingbird was teaching her Filipino, but Raven found herself struggling to learn a seventh language as it was so different than any of the languages she already knew.

"Pagod ka na, matulog ka na." (you're tired, go get some sleep) Starfire said but Raven couldn't understand any of it. She had also done some research online and found a website where she could learn Filipino better than Mockingbird and her siblings could teach her, but she was resigned to admit at this point her proficiency was poor at best. She felt Beast Boy grab her bicep gently.

"C'mon, babe, let's get to bed, she's fine." He said gently "She'll probably be in here any minute to get some sleep as well."

She nodded in mute agreement and followed him to the bed that she had already been sleeping in. She positioned herself against the wall, so she was on her left side and facing out towards the room. He lay on his back and drew her in, so she was more or less on her stomach on top of him. The position was surprisingly comfortable and within moments she was asleep again, her hand resting roughly over his heart.

Mockingbird looked at Starfire as she spoke to her telling her that she needed to get some sleep and sighed.

"I'm afraid to…" Mockingbird replied in English looking down.

"Afraid to what?" Cyborg asked having no idea what Starfire had said.

"Go to sleep." Mockingbird replied picking at a hangnail she'd just found on her right hand. "I still have some really bad nightmares about what I saw when I first moved into titans tower, some of the dreams I got from you guys were pretty disturbing."

"You need to go get some sleep, kid, look at yourself you're barely keeping your eyes open." He said stating exactly what everyone who looked at her was thinking. "And you're crying for no reason… everything will be fine; you'll feel a lot better once you get some sleep."

That was when Cyborg reached up and took her face in his hands. He then wiped the tears off her cheeks with his thumbs and gently pulled her in until she was forehead to forehead with him.

"Go to bed…" he told her "… you will be fine! I swear you are more stubborn than Raven… and that's saying something!"

"Thanks for the complement" she replied with a cheeky smile.

Cyborg rolled his eyes with a chuckle.

"That isn't always a good thing." He countered.

She took a deep breath and sighed it out. He was right, she hated to admit it, but he was right.

"Fine, Cyborg… you win!" she groaned palming away some tears.

Cyborg grabbed her hand gently and guided her to the same room he'd escorted Raven to earlier.

They got inside to see that Beast Boy had taken occupancy of the bed and, somehow coaxed Raven to join him. She was on her stomach practically lying on top of him, and they were both asleep.

'I'm never going to get used to that' he mused silently as he tucked Mockingbird in. He looked at the two again.

'Nope still weird.' he thought, shaking his head as he took a seat to stay nearby at least until Mockingbird was asleep.

Mockingbird, Amanda Roth, was so young, Cyborg couldn't get past the thought that she had gotten to see glimpses of the worst nightmares they'd had, and that idea was disturbing to say the least. He knew his dreams of the accident could get brutal to view, and God only knew what Raven saw in her nightmares, but it was safe to assume hers could make his look like a children's movie. She had made it abundantly clear her mind wasn't a safe place to go poking around when Mockingbird started practicing mind reading. She had vehemently refused the girl any further access to her mind than she'd already had, which was clearly too much.

Raven had also said Nightwing's mind wasn't safe either but when asked she wouldn't elaborate except to say they should trust her she'd been in Nightwing's mind, and it was no place for Mockingbird to poke around. Though, like herself, she was afraid Mockingbird had already gone too deep into Nightwing's mind and would suffer the consequences of his demons as the young girl already did hers.

Nightwing looked at Arrow as they took to the sparring mat. The older man had taken his hood off but still sported his mask. It was clear that they weren't going to immediately trust each other with their identities but they were getting closer. Getting to know each other a little better.

"Look, kid, you can't keep dwelling on what happened, if you're distracted in battle, it could be catastrophic for your team," Arrow told him.

"I know," Nightwing replied "But it's driving me crazy not knowing how badly she's hurt."

"Nightwing the cut was clean… gaping but clean… the weapon had to be exceptionally sharp and that was actually a good thing for her, it means it will heal cleanly and leave minimal scarring." Arrow assured him.

Nightwing thought about it, he still wanted to see it with his own eyes but what Arrow said did help. Given everything that had transpired this was the best outcome possible. He had been worried about her having a scar from the incident but given its placement few would ever see it if there was one. He shook his head, when she got her powers back, she'd heal and there would be no scar. It also meant she was in little to no danger of infection.

The match started and Arrow realized how well trained Nightwing was. As if it wasn't abundantly clear Nightwing was well trained after he led Arsenal over a third of the Glades, Arsenal's own stomping grounds, before Nightwing got sick of playing games and confronted Arsenal.

"Who trained you?" Arrow asked knowing this kid couldn't possibly be self-taught, he was too skilled at too young an age as Arrow had him pegged at barely eighteen years old.

"Batman" Nightwing replied simply.

Arrow had heard of Batman, truthfully, he'd heard of a version of Nightwing, but that Nightwing was very different from the young man in front of him.

Felicity looked up as Sara Lance entered the foundry.

"Hey… you look exhausted." Sara commented "Who are the new arrivals?"

"They are the Teen Titans, they got dumped here from a different Earth, I have been coordinating with Caitlyn Snow to try to figure out how to get them back to their Earth." Felicity replied. "This is Cyborg…" she said indicating the young man beside her that appeared more cybernetic than human. "Cyborg, this is Sara Lance, aka Black Canary."

"Hey, good to meet you… I think most of the others have crashed out… Raven was first, then Beast Boy and Mockingbird." He sighed "Not sure what Nightwing and Starfire are doing… last I knew Nightwing was sparring with the Arrow, and Starfire… I think she was watching them".

"You have a big team…" Sara commented.

"Six in total…." He replied looking over Beast Boy's non-functional T-phone. "It's a long story how we got here… normally we'd be able to get ourselves home but…"

"You have someone who can traverse dimensions under their own power in your team?" Sara asked sounding mildly impressed.

"Let me guess either Raven or Mockingbird." Felicity said, "They are the only two with no access to their powers."

"Raven…"

Sara looked as Nightwing entered the room. She didn't say it, but she had a feeling she knew more about this 'Raven' than the titans would want her to know. She had heard myths bantered about the League of Assassins that the daughter of Skath, aka Trigon was named Raven, but she had no way of knowing for sure if the "Raven" Cyborg was referring to was even the same girl as in the legend so she wouldn't say anything. Also, even if she was, it was clear she had made a name for herself as a hero and if her friends weren't aware of her paternity, she wasn't going to risk any damage between them.

"I thought you were goin to bed, Nightwing." Cyborg said.

"I am… but I just wanted to check on you and see how things went with finding a way to charge your power cell."

"I got it figured out… we're cool." Cyborg replied absently, still trying to sort out the problem with Beast Boy's T-phone.

"She's getting better, Nightwing… she'll be able to heal herself again soon."

"I know, Cyborg, but… you know me…" he sighed "After everything Raven went through…" Nightwing let the thought hang not wanting to disclose details in front of Sara and Felicity.

"I know, Wing… but look at her… she's getting better, and you know Rae doesn't blame you, she's realistic she understands there was no way you could stop that once you released."

"I know" Nightwing sighed clearly still brooding over whatever they were talking about, some accident. Sara would ask Felicity later to see if she had any clues as to what the two men were talking about.

"Good night, Cyborg."

"Night…"

Sara watched as Nightwing left the room, he hadn't asked about her and she figured he had decided anyone allowed into the foundry was friend enough to not be questioned.

Raven sighed as she lay in bed with Beast Boy. She couldn't believe he'd run to her when he got there but then that was him. She knew he was aware of how bad she had been when they arrived. They had all seen what had happened to her and were extremely worried about her.

If she were honest with herself, she didn't want to move, she felt so warm, but she needed to get up and get going. She had never thought she would enjoy sleeping in another person's arms. She wasn't the type that went for being held, but then that first night when he held her happened and it all began to change. She heard one of Beast Boy's soft snores and when his arm tightened gently around her the last of her resolve to get up crumbled and she succumbed to the warmth and soothing sound of his heartbeat and soon sleep overtook her again.

"Sleep, babe…" was the last thing she heard before surrendering to sleep.

Starfire wasn't sure what time it was when she heard Mockingbird cry out in terror. She came up star bolts at the ready only to immediately realize there was no danger.

"Mandy…" she rushed to the younger girl's side realizing Raven was in no condition to have even heard her cousin, much less react to the cry for help.

Amanda woke with a cry, gulping air and shaking like a leaf in the breeze. Suddenly she felt someone embrace her. The only thing she could tell was it wasn't Raven but, in her panic, she couldn't tell who it was.

"Mandy… nanaginip ka… Hindi totoo, ligtas ka. Nanaginip ka!" (Mandi… you were dreaming. It wasn't real, you are safe. You were dreaming.)

She quickly realized by the voice and language that it was Starfire that had embraced her and was whispering into her ear and quickly returned, the embrace clutching the older girl with all her might. She felt Starfire's embrace tighten reassuringly.

"Please, don't let go, Starfire… please hold me." She pleaded also in Filipino.

"I will not let go… do not be afraid" Starfire whispered to her still not switching to English. "You are safe with me."

Amanda didn't know why but soon she was telling Starfire, not in extreme detail, what she had seen in her nightmare. It was a remnant of one she'd gotten from Beast Boy about Trigon's failed attempt to take over the world. In that moment Starfire decided she would ask Raven exactly what she knew of her cousin's nightmares and if there was anything that could be done to help Amanda deal with them. She clearly wasn't coping as well as she wanted Raven to believe she was.

Starfire joined the younger girl in bed her heart hurting after hearing what the younger girl had seen. She pulled Amanda into her chest and felt the younger girl's arms wrapped around her again.

"Go back to sleep…" she told her gently "… you are safe, my sister."

The last thought that filtered through Starfire's mind before she followed Amanda into sleep was that she hoped Raven could find a way to help the younger girl deal with her nightmares.
