Alix: You've gotta do something about this! Kim broke my skate board in a stupid dare! It's completely ruined!
Inkaliber: I'm sure it's not that ba… oh geeze. It's snapped in two.
Alix: Ya think!? He didn't ask for permission or anything!
Inkaliber: Ugh this is a lot to handle. Hey Kim!
Kim: Yeah man? What's… up?
Inkaliber: Did you take Alix's board without asking?
Kim: Look I said I was sorry! I'm trying to work up the money to replace it!
Alix: All you've been doing is sitting around and playing on your phone!
Kim: Well… all the jobs around the house are taken! What am I supposed to do about that!?
Inkaliber: Okay! Both of you calm down! Now Alix, Kim did say he's sorry so there's no need to shout. I understand your board is very important to you but let me handle it from here.
Alix:… Fine.
Inkaliber: Now Kim, there are plenty of things you can do around the house. Just get James to show you how and he'll let you take over one of them for a bit. If there really is nothing then you're going to have to find an actual job to pay for the new board.

LumineCei- Glad he made your day! His shock is our entertainment.
P96822- Glad you like it man! I had fun making Danny show off dominance against the big bad bully. It'll be fun writing how he deals with the fact that he has a crush on a girl he hasn't even met in person. As to how he goes about it… I'll leave that up to your surprise. Also Deadpool I haven't seen the exact scene so I didn't know how close I was.
IggyAlfi2319- Yeah I think I'll officially call this ship Black Specter. Janny sounds nice too but Black Specter just fits. Yeah things could have gone from bad to worse if he did not find help somewhere.
Yeah I've tried not to overdo that aspect of the story, but I figured there'd be some small teases going around. Sam was the one that made it an issue in this story. I'll do my best to make sure no-one goes too far.
The_Keeper_of_Worlds- I'll definitely be keeping it in mind still. If Sam can get over the fact that Danny likes someone else then she may tease him about it. You'll have to wait and see. As for Tucker… You'll just have to find out now won't you?
FeliciaBelle- Lol. He's known them for a bit.
Wingd_Knight- You'll have to wait just like everyone else. Still it's fun to see people speculate about this little mystery. Hope the truth will meet your expectations.
Yeah, Black Specter is coming along nicely. He finally broke the stereotype of the blind protagonist, sort of. There's a lot of fun to be had with these two.
myslef- Yeah things can get pretty dicey when it comes to the lines for self-defense. Still have to figure out how I'll handle the repercussions, but at least he didn't actually hurt Dash.
Gundoru- Thanks! Had a lot of fun writing that chapter. While not exactly murder, the guild is willing to bring the hurt down for each other. Danny is now infamous with the school, which will obviously affect his life there. He really needed to talk with Sam about her behavior.
He's now aware of his own feelings towards Juleka, which definitely is a shock. You'll just have to wait and see how that goes. I totally forgot Wulf can portal places. Maybe Danny will get him to teach him the skill… I'll put a pin in that one.
mace- It's fine. I understand when things get frustrating and how hard it can be to just move on. Not being able to find a story you like is also a major bummer man.
Butch really did mess up a lot. I heard he didn't have much involvement until later seasons, where his influence caused a lot of issues. The directors of both shows really need to stop and think about what they're putting out. Undoing character development and mishandling characters is a serious problem for a show.

BugFighter: "And we've gone several more years without talking to each other in the past. Still with our lifetimes it's not surprising that you did NOT learn to he meaning of patience." Heh. "I missed you too."

BugFighter: "I must admit that it has indeed been a while since our days in the Order of the Guardians' care. It is rather nice to hear from both of you outside the echoes of the Miracle Box."
BeeFriend22: "There's an order of these guys? How come I haven't heard of them?"
"Well it's been a long time since the one Master was part of has been around. It's not something he likes to talk about."
Chataclysm: "Yeah I don't hear everything about this stuff either. Of course My Lady has been sharing more with me recently. Still wish I could figure that cool awakening thing out."
BugFighter: "To be honest I wish I could know more about them too. Master makes it sound like something terrible happened to them. Also Chat I'm sure it'll be a long time before anyone else awakens like Bee did."
Chataclysm: "Let's be honest. He just wants to do a power up magical girl pose."
"Plagg! I just want to be more useful! Quit making fun of my love of Japanese culture!"
BeeFriend22: "Chat, let's just be honest with ourselves here. You're a total weeb. I can tell that and I haven't been on the team as long as you."
Chataclysm: "Ugh. If we weren't friends I'd kick you off the server. Still, it's nice to have more members in the team."
BugFighter: "It really is. I'm looking into more permanent holders, but I wanna make sure I pick the right people for the right Kwami. I made that mistake with Alya Césaire and I don't plan on doing it again."
"Don't be so hard on yourself. You've made some great decisions as of late. Including Honey Bee."
Chataclysm: "Which is surprising since…"
BeeFriend: "Plagg. Please choose your next words wisely. I will not hesitate to remind you why my Venom needs to be focused through a Wielder."
Chataclysm: "Yeah maybe leave Chloe alone Plagg. Still It's nice to know one of the people I'm working with."
BugFighter: "Chat… I promise someday soon I'll be ready to share who I am with you. All I ask is that you be patient with me."
Chataclysm: "My Lady, you're my best hero friend. For you I'll wait as long as you need me to. You know that."
BugFighter: "I know... Actually, could we talk about something soon. In person. Just the two of us."

BugFighter: "Ugh! No offense Bee but please leave the puns to Chat. I have to deal with him already. Anyway, I'll meet you at our usual spot."

Marinette paced back and forth, still in her Ladybug form. She was nervous about what she was about to do, but she knew it was the right thing to do. She saw the level of trust the American hero teams like the Titans had in each other. She promised herself that she would help her little group to be like that, no matter how much it made her uneasy. She stood straight as she heard the familiar tapping of her partner's landing.
"Hey there, My Lady!" greeted Chat. Ladybug turned to him with a serious look on her face. He could tell it was the one she put on whenever she was nervous about something. "Is something wrong?" His partner sighed as she nodded.
"There's something we need to talk about." Began the bug hero. Chat nodded in response, knowing it's best to let her talk. "Back during the FashionMaster incident, I was out for a day on the town with my old bully. The one before the vrăjitoare showed up." The cat hero nodded in recognition.
"Yeah, the constant annoyance. I remember those rants very well. Of course we may know each other seeing as Chloe has been your old bully." Ladybug popped the boy on the shoulder, an eyeroll and a hidden smile making an appearance.
"Don't go pushing your luck Chat. Anyway, she was trying to prove to me that she had changed and I could tell that she was being genuine. Then FashionMaster attacked and we were caught in the crosshairs. In the end I'm pretty sure we were about to die." Chat felt his heart drop as that sentence registered for him.
"About to die!? What happened! You're obviously okay but you're making me lose my nine-lives here." Marinette smiled, happy that her partner cared about her so much. She steeled herself as she took a deep breath.
"A parking garage was coming down on us. FashionMaster had it destroyed in an effort to crush us." Chat growled as his eyes glowed green.
"That was you!? I never got a good look at you or Chloe but I did see her chasing you. I'm so sorry that I couldn't get to you in time. I'm such a useless partner." Ladybug quickly waved her hands defensively.
"Don't beat yourself up over it! We made it out alright." Adrien sighed in relief, smoothing his hair. "It came at a cost, however." The boy couldn't help but allow his fake ears to flicker a bit.
It was obvious in her tone that she was getting to her point. "I reacted on instinct in order to save my friend, which the two of us are now. The only way to do so… was to transform right in front of her. I had to reveal my identity to her." Chat felt speechless as he began to space off.
He felt so numb hearing this piece of news. On one hand he felt relieved that his lady was safe. On the other, someone had discovered her identity. It was a lot for him to process. He quickly began to piece together his response upon seeing the look on Ladybug's face.
It was clear to him that she was feeling bad about something. She rubbed her arm as she looked down. "I know I said we can't share our identities with each other, but I just couldn't let her die. I know you probably feel betrayed but I would do the same for you in a heartbeat and…" Marinette didn't get to finish her rambling as Chat suddenly pulled her into a hug.
"I know you would, My Lady. What's important to me is that you're alive in the first place. How Chloe found out just shows me once again that you are a selfless person who puts others before your own safety. And it paid off in the end, seeing as she's Honey Bee now." Marinette sighed as she looked down.
"Y…yeah. She awakened right in front of me. That and the rising threats outside of Hawkmoth made me realize there needs to be more Miraculous users ready to do the right thing." Chat smiled his catty grin as he nodded his head.
"See! In the end you made the best call, for both Chloe annd Paris. I'm just glad you're telling me instead of keeping me in the dark. As long as we're talking about secrets though… I have a confession of my own." Ladybug looked confused as she turned to look her partner in the eye.
"A confession? What are you talking about?" Could it be another attempt to get a date? She quickly banished the thought as she remembered that he had a girlfriend. Chat chuckled as he sheepishly rubbed the back of his head.
"As you know a problem at my school caused my father to pull me out indefinitely. It was really hard for me to go through the loneliness again, but then my girlfriend fought tooth and nail to be able to be with me. In the end her mother used her influence to keep us together. Even my father has allowed us more time to be together." Marinette smiled, happy to see the light burn in her partner's eyes.
He let his hand drop as he sighed. "I fell for her even more and got comfortable being around her. So comfortable that… I let more of my Chat Noir side show up. She soon put two and two together and… she found out who I am." Marinette gasped as she held a hand to her mouth.
"Oh Chat. I'm sorry to hear that. She's put herself in a lot of danger with that knowledge. Do you need the Master to take care of it?" Chat quickly waved his hands in defense.
"No need for that! Her family has this ancient breathing technique that's supposed to help repel corruption. I've seen it work for Hawkmoth's butterflies before, but now she's even more of a target. At this point it's honestly better that she knows so that I can more easily protect her." Marinette thought it over a bit, then nodded with a small smile.
"I can see what you mean. Thank you for telling me Chat and… thanks for being so understanding of my own situation. I really mean it when I say I plan to drop the whole secret thing between us. I just need things to be safer before that can happen." Chat chuckled as he nodded his head.
"Nothing to worry about My Lady. Whenever you're ready to tell me just give me a call. I may not be pursuing your heart at the moment but I would still like to officially meet one of my best friends. Of course I'm pretty sure you'll be the same with or without the mask, and don't try to say you're not." Marinette couldn't help but chuckle at the silly cat's antics.
Adrien suddenly got an idea as he raised a finger. "Hey! Could my girlfriend be considered for being on the team permanently. She has that breathing technique and all." Marinette sighed as she shook her head.
"I'll think about it, but I'll need to see that technique in action. Still, the Master does have final say whether someone joins fully or not." Chat nodded, fully understanding the importance of the old man's word. He suddenly found himself in a sincere hug from his lady. "Again, thank you so much Chat." Adrien smiled as he returned the gesture.
"Any time." In the old days he would have taken this as a sign of her feelings. Maybe in another time they could have been. Right now, he was happy just being here for one of his best friends. If he couldn't be her lover, then he would focus everything he had on being a brother to his lady.
No one could stop him from taking care of his precious people, not even his father.
Inkaliber: Boom! Chapter 19 done and done! Like I said this broke the form a bit as it was a half-and-half chapter. There wasn't as much to cover here but I figured it would be best to have this moment here. There will be no unnecessary angst between these two.
Kim: Dude, why do you gotta be cryptic with that last bit? Trying to point something out?
Inkaliber: Well that's a for me to know and for the readers to find out. Now shouldn't you be working with James? If I recall you have a skateboard to start paying for.
Kim: Actually that's what I'm doing. I'm the paper boy for the neighborhood and he asked me to deliver these unfinished chapters to you. I start the paperboy work tomorrow.
Inkaliber: Oh! Thanks kid. Man I really need to get to work on these. With school starting back next week it'll probably be a while before I actually get to it. Anyway, I gotta close out the chapter.
