Inkaliber: Hello everyone! Welcome back to another chapter of Miraculous Gamer Guild. Today is another chat chapter but it's another that's been referenced and asked for a bit.
James: Yep! The bat fam is entering the mix!

James: Oh! Uh… sorry boss. Go ahead and…
Inkaliber: No, no. It's already been ruined. Let's just answer some reviews.
Mododeus- Thanks for the review! Welcome to the story!
LunarCouncilor- Glad you liked it! I made it no secret that the flirting went both ways, but this served as a confirmation that Black Phantom is a real possibility. Yeah Jack will probably make that comment to embarrass Danny, accidental or not.
myslef- Oh trust me man. I would love it if Bulbasaur was in this game. There are a lot of pokemon that I feel could have been neat to see in an open world pokemon game, but for the truly first of its kind I can't complain too much.
That_ENFP_Guy- Yeah it kinda is. I figured the Laptops could be better explained if they were found out than the T-communicators. It'll be so funny when Ellie joins in on Danny's madness. Lol.
Wingd_Knight- I always like answering the comments of the reviewers. Most of the time I have to do it over DMs over on FFN, but I prefer doing so in the chapters due to the funny shenanigans it can cause. It's a fun way to interact with the readers.
I can understand what you mean about Danny's progress and his usual fights with Skulker. While the boy has been training to get stronger, Skulker had upgrades that he was not prepared for. Not to mention, and forgive me for the pun, getting electrocuted can leave anyone kinda shocked. I figured the best way to lead up to Raven having to interfere is to give the hunter ghost some upgrades to his suit.
As for the Miraculous side, the trio are still trying to get the hang of being a three man team. Plus there were a few surprises for them to deal with, such as the fire breath of Gertrude. I like to make sure my characters get the proper spotlight they deserve, and I like to write Chat as the hero he is. Chloe was caught off guard by the attack as she only took the hero side of the job seriously after becoming Honey Bee. All in all I did my best to keep things even so the surprise help felt genuinely needed and not forced.
Glad I could keep that interaction up to standards. I was waiting for the moment I could have Danny and Tiki meet again. It will definitely be an interesting discussion going down that rabbit hole.
I love writing about the Black Specter (Danny X Juleka) relationship. It just feels right and it's always fun to play matchmaker with characters. You needn't be concerned about that. Juleka's just going through a more controlled version of what Marinette went through with Adrien. Nothing obsessive but she does have her eye on the boy.
Oh don't worry about Alya and Lila. They still have a big role to play before this first arc is fully over. One of them might even have some importance in the overall story. For now they aren't the main focus as they aren't in contact with the Akuma class… well most of them.
As for what Ellie is up to, she is currently spending time in Metropolis. She hasn't really been confronted with the hero standards yet, though it's not off the table. As for Damian and Jon they will be keeping Ellie's identity on the downlow. They just have to find a way to mention the other details they heard without cluing in that a new hero is in town or they know said hero's identity. Of course, if you remember the end of that chapter, they have some unintended help with that bit.
The_Keeper_of_Worlds- Yeah I figured that now was the time to start bringing things together.
Mace- Those are some interesting ideas Mace. I'm pretty sure you can just comment normally on Ao3, with maybe even a spot to name yourself. There's a box at the bottom of every chapter there that you can write your comments in. (For those who are wondering what I'm talking about, you can look at Mace's review of the recent chapter over on FFN.)

Gideon_phantom- Glad you like the pairing so much. I want to reassure you that Adrien will get involved at some point. He's been denied time to be with any of his friends other than Kagami, though even this was from her mother's influence. Plus he has patrols with Ladybug and Queen Bee late at night so he's not entirely alone, especially since they find time to just be teens during the quieter patrols. All I'm asking is for your patience.
Speedykitten1643- Glad you liked it! I figured Raven coming forward about how it happened and apologizing for it would help smooth things over so she could calm down. I've been waiting to show off the moment where Danny meets Tiki again for a while now. I figured Dick would want to make sure everything went smoothly for this meeting, plus someone had to deliver the packages. Here's the next chapter right now! J

ZeroKnight01- Okay while I feel that you could have said that a bit nicer, you do have a point. I never really thought about how the other Titans found out about the duo's secrets, only that they would have a presence. I also could have handled Nightwing's reaction to Danny telling Juleka better. I asked around and one person said that Robins are sometimes known for arrogance in that department, but it just didn't feel right. With this chapter, however, I saw a chance to turn my mess up into something better, so look forward to that.

Gundoru- Glad you liked the chapter! I had fun showing off the rest of the Titans being a big help. Lol you also have to remember that Babs is known but not shared as well. After all, only people in their usual group know her identity. Hopefully this new dynamic will make for some fun interactions.
I have to agree that Hisuian Zoroark, especially shiny, would probably be a really good one to add to her team. I'm really hoping to get Walking Wake and maybe Iron Leaves before the time is up. Here's the next chapter, ready for your reading pleasure.
FreelanceroftheTriforceKeyblade- Yeah I figured it would be good to show her defensiveness here. She had it in her head that Dick was going to hurt Danny somehow or turn him in and had a rare moment of courage. She showed that she was willing to fight for Danny when the chips were down.
Classiccartoon27- Thanks! I try to represent the characters as best I can. I really like Chloe redemption stories or stories that include the blonde getting her act together. It may be a bit before the topic of Tiki and Danny's meeting is discussed. Hope you enjoy the chapter!

Hood: I was in the middle of something so make this better be important.
Otherwise I'm hopping off.
Robin: I too had prior plans.
Unlike Hood, however, I know level 7 emergencies take priority.
Hood: One of these days, runt.
Red: This better be important, Oracle.
What level of coffee do I need to have for this?
Oracle: What level would you put your favorite designer's life being on the line?

DarkKnight: Nightwing. Report.

Nightwing: Sorry. Was getting dressed for bed when you called.
Let me get my facts straight.
Oracle: Lol. Make it quick.
Maybe we should postpone for a later time in case he takes too long.
DarkKnight: Out of the question.
Nightwing: Okay.
So a few months ago I got wind of magical activity in Paris, France.
From what my source told me, the city has been under magical attack for a while now.
Hood: Ugh.
Why is it always magic?
Red: Now setting the coffee to strong.
Nightwing: I had to do some digging of my own, which was difficult to say the least.
The French government heavily moderates the news that goes to the outside world.
Apparently a villain by the name of Hawkmoth has gotten his hands on a magical artifact known as a Miraculous.
DarkKnight: With it he's able to prey on the emotions of Paris's citizens and create a warrior to carry out his will.
Nightwing: …That is exactly what it does.
I take it you have experience with the Miraculous then.
DarkKnight: During my time preparing to become Batman, I trained with many orders of warriors.
One such order were the Miracle Guardians.
They studied and protected the Miraculous and the beings that power them, known as Kwami.
I only trained under them for so long as I had no interest in guarding a Miracle Box at the time.
Not to mention that, should I have changed guardianship, I would have lost all memories of my training with them.
Robin: I can concur with this fact.
Grandfather had books detailing the Kwami and the very aspects they represented.
I am surprised he has not made an attempt to obtain them.
Red: My money is on a third party keeping them occupied.
It could be the Guardians, or it could be a player who also wants the Miraculous out of his hands.
Nightwing: And there's a good reason to do so.
The most powerful of them, the Ladybug and Black Cat, have been activated to deal with the threat.
Oracle: And no joke they actually go by Ladybug and Chat Noir.
They also added a third member by the title of Honey Bee recently.
DarkKnight: The Ladybug, Black Cat, and Bee Miraculous.
Things must be dire if all three are indefinitely active.
Hood: Big whoop.
So we got good luck, bad luck, and an annoying sting.
Hardly sounds like a serious power.
Robin: The Ladybug has the power of creation, able to create anything the user needs.
It can also purify corruption, like the corrupted butterflies, and restore the world to a previous state and repair all damages.
The Black Cat has the power of destruction, able to destroy anything that it touches.
You have it to thank for Atlantis sinking and the Dinosaurs going extinct.
The Bee Miraculous might not be as powerful, but its venom can paralyze a target indefinitely.
Does any of that sound minor, Hood?
Hood: Okay. Okay. I stand corrected.
Red: What I want to know is why no one called the League line to call for help?
We've dealt with megalomaniacs and tyrants from space.
Nightwing: That's the thing: they did.
Every time they tried calling, however, a certain someone thought it was a prank call.
That's why I'm also requesting that Guy Gardener be taken off the answer list.
DarkKnight: I'll make sure it gets done.
He's already been on thin ice lately.
Hood: While I understand how magical jewels named Miraculous sounds, even I know to give anything magic a serious look.
Oracle: Exactly.
That's how surprising it is.
I think the first step should be getting in contact with the Miraculous Heroes and the guardian.
Miraculous Heroes is the name the holders assigned themselves.
Red: A little on the nose, but so are most of our hero names.
I agree that mending any transgressions and gaining the support of the local heroes would be a good idea.
Robin: That does sound like the logical first step.
We must also consider who will qualify for handling the situation in Paris.
DarkKnight: I have a few league members in mind.
This is a sensitive matter and strong emotion control will be necessary.
There's also the matter of how powerful the individual would be if they were Akumatized.
These factors narrow down the candidate pool significantly.
Nightwing: I also plan to personally train the Miraculous Heroes and anyone else they bring into their group.
They only recently went from a duo to an actual team.
The Titans and a few friends can handle things in Jump City while I and a hand selected group handle this.
Hood: Can't believe I'm saying this but you actually make a good point there.
DarkKnight: I approve.
As soon as the league is informed and we get in contact with the Guardian, mobilize your team.
Nightwing: It'll be more than just them that we meet that day.
I recently had a break in the Amity Park case.
Oracle: This is news to me.
When did this happen?
Red: Yeah.
We've been trying to solve the strange readings from that area for months.
If it wasn't for B's orders not to go near it we probably would have solved it by now.
DarkKnight: I still stand by my decision.
Regardless, report.
Hood: Would it kill you to use a different word?
That's all you say these days.
Nightwing: Not now Hood.
Anyway, I can confirm that the ghostly activity in the area is very real.
I got in touch with a local as a civilian and recently met with the town's local hero, Phantom.
Robin: A rare encounter for someone outside the town.
Red: Hero? Isn't he labeled a menace by most?
Robin: While the media does show him in a mixed light, they did so for Father in the past.
I believe that he is genuinely a heroic entity, much like this supposed Deadman on the Batcomputer's files.
Oracle: Plus when you look at the evidence against Phantom, there are clear signs of misinterpretation and possible influence by other spirits.
DarkKnight: This is news indeed.
I assume you plan to bring this "Phantom" in to share his side of the story.
Nightwing: Exactly.
Who better to explain the issue than someone who's dealt with it for two years.
Oracle: You'd have to know where to find him first.
We only learned that he and some of the ghosts on file are friendly due to the local source.
DarkKnight: You knew about the Amity Park situation too.
Oracle: Yeah.
Like Nightwing I was waiting for more information before I contemplated sharing the news.
Nightwing: Anyway, I have my ways of getting in contact with him.
I'd share but our usual superhero etiquette and a promise are involved here.
DarkKnight: Nightwing.
That is crucial information.
Nightwing: Sorry B.
You accepted the rules.
If you want to know, you'll have to put those detective skills to work.
Hood: Hah!
The golden child is actually using the rules against you.
I call that much deserved karma.
AgentA: Hood.
Please be more respectful during meetings.
Hood: Sorry A.
Nightwing: All I can say is that he's definitely a good kid.
The whole anti-ghost movement brought about by Mayor Vlad Masters is doing more harm than good.
DarkKnight: Kid?
That implies that he's young.
Nightwing: I mean obviously he died young.
You're reading too much into this B.
Look, the only people that are allowed to know in this circle are the Titans and those Phantom had put his trust in.
Red: Honestly with your team being complete strangers I'm surprised he let them in on it.
Nightwing: Well Raven was there when I found out. The rest kinda fell into place.
DarkKnight: Nightwing.
This is a serious matter.
AgentA: Now that is quite enough sir.
Remember to think how you would feel if someone was being this inquisitive with your own secrets.
Red: Looks like Agent A is being the adult in the room.
Gotta start shaping up B.
DarkKnight: This is a time sensitive matter.
We need all hands on deck for this operation.
We need to know all that we can about these situations.

DarkKnight: I should have known they wouldn't cancel.

I'm about to start another training call with Danny.
Babs21: Phantom… did give you permission to tell the team about this secret of his, right?
NightwingFan: …Well not exactly.
I left the tab with my research open and both Vic and Garfield decided to peek at it like with the Guild.
Babs21: And I assume Kori found out in a similar manner.
Please tell me you didn't just up and tell her without permission.
NightwingFan: Look, I confided in her that I figured out his secret.
I didn't know how to handle it and this was before Vic and Garfield found out.
Babs21: That still doesn't make it right Dick.
That's like Bruce telling us about a super hero's identity after figuring it out.
Scratch that… the whole League.
NightwingFan: Oh you mean like he always does unless he has some big reason not to?
Are you trying to say that I'm turning into Bruce?
Babs21: I'm not saying that at all.
I'm just saying that you made a childish and irresponsible move.
You're a veteran hero for goodness sake.
You should have handled it yourself.
NightwingFan: Look, it's not every day you find something this big.

Phantom has a secret identity, and you told someone without his permission.
Dick you can't just do that!
NightwingFan: You better be lucky my account has the filter Babs.
Look, what's done is done.
You know Kori is trustworthy.
So are Vic and Garfield when it comes to this kind of secret.
I know who I can trust with these kinds of things and it was spur of the moment.
Babs21: You know, up until that last moment, you actually did sound like Bruce.
Dick, I thought you left for Jump City to avoid becoming him back when you had the fight.
NightwingFan: And I am different.
When I found out Phantom told someone foreign to the US his secret, I gave him a thorough rundown of why that was a bad idea.
I even talked with this person as Nightwing and used the lie detector to determine if they were trustworthy or not.
They turned out alright and I let him off with a warning.
Babs21: Dick… You're a hypocrite.
NightwingFan: Excuse me!?
Babs21: You found out his identity, then told someone he did not give you permission to tell.
Then you hear he told someone else his identity.
You tell him why he couldn't tell someone his own freaking secret, then had the GALL to use the lie detector on an innocent person.
I'd be more lenient with you if you actually had grounds for them being a criminal.
Dick, who do you know that would have done at least most of the things you did?
It's a Saturday. I can wait all day.
NightwingFan: Oh my gosh. I've become Bruce.
Everything I just said apart from the friendlier bits is his exact protocol.
Babs21: Dick, you don't know how bad you've messed this up.
That poor civilian is probably traumatized from having someone interrogate them.
You need to get off this high horse and remember why we MADE Bruce accept our policy on not sharing information unless it's necessary.
NightwingFan: Actually they passed simply by standing up for Phantom and only lying about not knowing who else knows his secret.
But regardless, you're right.
I need to fix this.
Babs21: Yeah no kidding.
Look, I know it's been a long and difficult road becoming your own hero, but you can't backpedal now.
You need to move forward and strive to be better.
Otherwise, being like Bruce is your destiny.
NightwingFan: You're right.
I'll start by apologizing to Phantom, first chance I get.
Then I might let the guys take the day to do patrols and go back to my roots.
Babs21: So you mean set up trapeze and be a Flying Grayson for a day?
NightwingFan: Heh.

Gotta go, my training session with Danny and Tuck is about to start.
Babs21: Don't work those two too hard.
That's Bruce's job.
NightwingFan: Yeah don't push it.

Inkaliber: That's chapter 23 done and done. I know this one was shorter but I figured it was time for Dick to address the big problems the League hasn't been dealing with. He also indicates that he wishes to personally train the Miraculous Heroes. We also get to see Dick have fun holding certain information out of Bruce's reach. The important thing though is that things are rapidly approaching a change.
James: We also get Barbara telling that bird brain to get his act together. It looks good to me. I think you've done a brilliant job Boss.
Inkaliber: Thanks. It doesn't mean you're out of the woods though. I have to think of a good way to make you stop spoiling things.
Rose: Mr. Ink. Can you please let Mr. James off the hook for a little while longer? He promised to be part of the group that reviews Kitty Section's new song. Puppy dog eyes ensue.
Inkaliber: Oh alright. I can give him a few days. Enough with the puppy eyes.
Rose: Yay! We've been working really hard on it! I gotta go tune my guitar!
Inkaliber: And it looks like James took the chance to bolt. I gotta figure out how to deal with that. The Saibamen seem a little too harsh in this scenario. Maybe I could have him clean up after Gengar for a while. Hm…
