Tony was at the high rollers table when one of his best friends Rhodey walked up with Tony's award in hand. One thing that needs to be known about Tony was he generally didn't care about awards. So when James Rhodes walked up with Tony's award in hand, Tony felt bad for not showing up but it wasn't really his thing.
"You are the most unbelievable man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Tony, I can't believe that you missed your own award." Rhodey said flabbergasted at the audacity of his best friend, if Rhodey didn't know any better Tony wouldn't even show up to his own funeral.
"Oh god, did they rope poor you into this?" Tony said in more of a comical way than a sincere way
"Nope, no one roped me into this. I did this on my own." Rhodey answered still not believing the audacity of this man, "They did tell me that if I presented the award to you that you would be most deeply honored." He added
"Well of course I would be deeply honored it's coming from you and that is great in of itself." Tony said in a mixture of sincerity and comedic tone before Rhodey handed him the award.
"Thank you." Tony said before handing the award to Naruto who stashed it away in a seal that he had inscribed into his jacket coat pocket.
Just then Naruto felt his phone vibrate before he pulled it out
I'll be outside waiting for you guys – Happy
On our way now – Naruto
Naruto put his phone away before whispering in Tony's ear
"Sir, Happy is waiting outside in the Limo, I believe that it is time to go." Naruto whispered before pulling back
"Well, I guess this is when I take my leave." Tony said as he backed away from the table with the chips before Naruto picked them up and stashed them in a bag. Before they started heading for the entrance of the Palace.
As they reached the entrance Rhodey stuck out his hand for Tony to shake, "I believe this is where I exit."
"All fine with me." Tony said before grabbing one of his best friends' hands and shaking it.
"Don't you dare be late to the plane tomorrow, otherwise I'll have Naruto prank you into the next century, and you know he will do it." Rhodey said, causing Tony to go ghostly white, he still hadn't gotten the dye out of his clothes completely from the time that Naruto got him back for messing with his Company ID, before turning to Naruto who put his hands up in defense
"I admit to nothing, and you have no proof." Naruto said with a grin
(Outside Caesar Palace - Limo)
They had just reached the limo when someone suddenly called out Tony's name.
"Mr. Stark! Please Excuse me, Mr. Stark!" a young blond-haired woman called out before she was stopped by some of Tony's guards.
"Christine Everhart, Vanity Fair Magazine. Can I ask you a couple of questions?" the now-named Christine asked
Tony looked at Naruto who gave him a nod causing Tony to turn around, "Hello"
"Hi" Christine replied back
Tony walked towards her a little bit but stayed behind his guards
"Yeah. Go ahead." Tony said
Christine pulled out an audio recording device and began asking questions, "You've been called the 'Da Vinci of our time.' how do you feel about that?"
"Well for one that's ridiculous, because I don't paint." Tony said in a semi-serious tone causing Naruto to roll his eyes and put his hand on his face facepalming, which didn't go unnoticed by Christine who let out a little giggle causing Tony to look behind him to see Naruto facepalming.
"Ignore him." Tony said, 'The gals on that man I swear' he silently thought to himself.
"And what about your other nickname? 'The Merchant of death'?" Christine continued
"That one isn't bad in my opinion." he responded, "Let me make a wild guess, Berkley?" Tony added
"Brown, actually." Christine responded
"Well then, Ms. Brown, this world isn't perfect but it's the only one that humanities got. And I guarantee you, the moment weapons are no longer needed to keep the peace, the company will start making brick and beams for baby hospitals." Tony explained
"How often do you rehearse that." Christine said in a joking manner
"Every single night in front of the mirror before bedtime." Tony said flatly
"I can see that now." Christine said not believing him
"I would personally like to show you firsthand." Tony said, hinting that he wanted to sleep with her
Naruto shook his head, 'Quit whoring yourself off Tony, I know how you feel about Pepper'
"All I want is a serious answer from you." Christine responded
"Okay, you want serious. My Father had a philosophy, 'Peace means having the bigger stick than the other guy.'" Tony said now getting a little bit irritated
"That's a great philosophy coming from the guy selling the sticks." Christine countered
"My dad helped defeat the Nazis. He worked on the Manhattan Project. A lot of people including professors at Brown would call that something heroes do." Tony responded defending his father and his business
"Yeah, and a lot of people would also call that war profiteering." Christine countered
"Tell me something, do you plan to report on the millions that we've saved by advancing medical technology or kept from starvation with our Intelli-crops?" Tony said while leaning in towards the recorder, "All those breakthroughs, military funding, honey." Tony said once again defending his company
"Wow, you ever lose an hour of sleep in your whole life?" Christine asked
Tony gave her a grin, "I'm prepared to lose a few with you."
Naruto heard this and took it as his cue to get Tony in the car. "Tony come on it's time to go." While ushering Tony into the car, before turning to Christine, "That will be all." Before getting in the car as Happy drove off
(In the car)
Naruto slid his hand down his face, "You really need to stop whoring yourself off Tony."
"Why do you even care you're already married." Tony shot
"I know what you're doing Tony, you're trying to fill that gap in your heart with the thrill of a good time when what you need to do is fill it with the love of a woman that you truly care about, a woman that you wouldn't mind spending the rest of your life with. A woman that you can't live without. And I know for a fact who that woman is for you Tony and so do you." Naruto explained
"Oh, and who would this woman be exactly, please enlighten me." Tony said in a sarcastic yet serious tone
"I know how you feel about Pepper, I watch how you interact with her, how you change when you are around her, your more relaxed. I don't want to see you suffer if someone else manages to scoop her up. If you really want her you need to stop whoring yourself off and stop this behavior. You need to clean up your act and show her that you can clean your act up, showing that you are willing to change for the better for her. You need to stop being…. well you." Naruto explained while gesturing to all of Tony while saying the last part.
For the most part, the ride back to Tony's mansion was silent as Tony thought about what Naruto said. Maybe he was right. Maybe he needed to clean up his act if he wanted to fill the void in his heart with the love that he wanted from Pepper.
Tony raised his head and turned to Naruto, "You know what Naruto your right, I need to clean up my act if I want Pepper. Thank you for opening my eyes." Tony said totally serious
Naruto placed his hand on Tony's shoulder, "What are best friends for if not the help each other."
(The Next Day – Tony's Garage)
Naruto was hanging out with Tony in his garage while Tony was working on an engine when Pepper walked down getting Naruto's attention. Pepper opened the door while still on the phone. Pausing Tony's music.
"I'll keep you posted." Pepper said as she finished her call
Tony turned around, "You are supposed to be halfway around the world as we speak." Pepper said
Tony looked at the time, "Oh shit, sorry must have lost track of time." Before putting back the engine
"Larry called, and he has another buyer for the Jackson Pollock on the line. Do you want it yes or no?" Pepper asked
Tony looked at Naruto looking for advice, Naruto motioned to Pepper silently telling Tony to ask her what she thought of the painting.
"What do you think? Do you think I should buy it?" Tony asked
Pepper was taken aback by Tony's attitude, "Personally I think it's overpriced, if it was cheaper I would say yes, but it's not so no."
"Then tell Larry no." Tony simply stated before getting up and started walking towards his fridge where Pepper followed him to
"The MIT commencement speech. They are haranguing me. What do you want me to say?" Pepper asked
Tony once again looked to Naruto for advice only to get a nod in return, "Yes."
As her last act of business, "Before you get on the plane, I need you to sign this." Pepper said as she handed him the folder
Tony took the folder and signed what he needed to sign, "Do you have plans for your birthday? Because if not I would like to make plans with you for your birthday."
Pepper did the only thing that she could think of from this new behavior, she went slack-jawed and her mouse fell open in a shocked expression, she took a moment to regain her composure, "What is with this change in behavior and attitude?"
"Nothing, I just never realized what a great thing was sitting right in front of me all this time. Now that I have realized I'm turning over a new leaf." Tony answered before getting up and going upstairs to get ready to go.
Pepper turned around to look at Naruto, "Did you have anything to do with this?" with a smile on her face
Naruto smiled at her, "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't, nobody will ever know. All I'm going to say is that I have both of your guy's best interests in mind." Before getting up to walk up the stairs only for Pepper to stop and give him a hug
"Thank you." She said before Naruto hugged her back
"Not a problem." Naruto replied only for Naruto to lift his head when he heard Tony coming down the stairs in his suit. Quickly separating from Pepper
"You ready? Cause I'm riding with you." Naruto said
"Yep, let's go." Tony said before they hopped in his car and they were off.
(Tony's Plane – Before Takeoff)
Tony, Happy, and Naruto arrived at Tony's plane where Rhodey was waiting. Happy got Tony's clothes and Baggage they all walked up the stairs.
"1 hour I have been waiting for you." Rhodey said irritated
"Sorry, slept in because I couldn't really sleep last night. Been thinking about a lot of stuff lately." Tony said
"You got me standing here for an hour." Rhodey said
"Well we're waiting on you now." Tony said as they all entered the plane.
"I will see you after you get back from the weapon demonstration Tony." Naruto said before stepping out of the plane followed shortly by Happy.
Soon Tony's plane took off and it was just Naruto and Happy.
"Sir, would you like a lift back to your house?" Happy asked
"Sure." Naruto said before getting in the passenger's seat

Naruto had just gotten home and decided that since he was done working for the day that he would surprise his wife when she got home with her favorite meal: Syrup coated Anko dumplings and Umeboshi. After a few hours, he was done and just in time as his wife walked thru the door with a smile on her face having smelled her favorite meal from the door. Just as they sat down to eat the same golden portal from last time opened and out stepped the ancient one as she had told them before it closed behind her. Naruto stood up to greet her with a bow.
"How can I help you ancient one?" Naruto asked
"I have come to inform you of a major timeline point that must not be changed." The ancient one spoke
"And what would that major point be?" Naruto asked worried as to what it might be
"Tony Starks Kidnapping." The ancient one said flatly, "If the age of Iron man does not come great catastrophe will follow. You must not attempt to rescue him right now. Let him stay in captivity for 3 months before deciding what to do." She added
This hit Naruto hard, Tony was his best friend in this universe, and he didn't want anything bad to befall his friends, but if it was to keep the timeline intact and prevent great disasters then he would have to endure.
"Fine, 3 months then I go looking for him." Naruto said before getting a nod from the ancient one
"Thank you for your cooperation. And please enjoy the rest of your day." The ancient one said before she reopened the portal and stepped back thru letting the portal close behind her.
Sakura came to hug her husband from behind
"This is going to be a tough 3 months on Pepper." Naruto said getting a nod from his wife before that sat back down to eat lunch
(2 and a half Months Later)
Pepper was a mess; her boss and secret love had been kidnapped 2 and a half months ago and had yet to be found. She was beginning to wonder if her boss would ever get found or rescued. Naruto watched from a distance at the mess that was Pepper. He couldn't stand it anymore to see people that he was so close to in pain. He was going to go and find his best friend.
"Pepper." Naruto said getting her and Rhodeys attention.
"Yes, Naruto?" Pepper responded
"I'm going to go and get Tony." Naruto said before turning and heading for the door.
"Wait, you're going alone? Shouldn't you bring a team with you?" Pepper asked causing Naruto to turn towards her with a smile on his face
"Naruto, we have this handled, I'm sure that we will find Tony any minute now." Rhodey said
"Pepper do you trust me?" Naruto asked, completely blowing off Rhodey, he was mad at Rhodey for making jack fuck all in attempts at finding his best friend
"With my life." Pepper responded confused by the question
"Then trust me to find your man, I am my own army." Naruto said getting a blush out of Pepper before she nodded as he continued towards the door only for Rhodey to get in his way.
"Naruto, I have this handled all we need to do is wait." Rhodey said
"Wait, really that's your answer is to wait longer? Rhodey we have been waiting for 2 and a half fucking months and we still haven't found Tony. You have failed at your job of finding your best friend so now I have to pick up the slack, now Rhodey get out of my way before I move you myself." Naruto said before Rhodey got into a fighting position
"You're not getting past me Naruto, I'm sorry but I can't let you go out looking for him on your own." Rhodey said sternly
Naruto sighed, "You really want the hard way don't you."
Naruto moved to pass Rhodey giving him one last chance only for Rhodey to make the first move and try and grab him only for Naruto got grab Rhodeys arm and simply toss him out of his way like a ragdoll landing in front of flabbergasted Pepper clutching his shoulder.
"I gave you 2 chances to get out of the way. That is on you." Naruto said before walking out the door.
(2 Days Later)
Naruto was now in Afghanistan after buying a ticket to a city in the middle of Afghanistan. He was currently staying in a hotel where he would be spending however long it took looking for Tony. Naruto had everything that he needed to not bring suspicion to his Identity he had the same Necklace that his Central City counterpart had as well as Hagoromo to monitor new stations and whatnot. He would go out for about 18 hours a day looking for Tony searching for his Chakra signature. Little did he know that it would take him about 1.75 weeks to find Tony and from there he would call Rhodey to have him pick them up.
(12 and a quarter days later)
Naruto had just gotten up for the day and was doing his daily mediation, stretching his senses as far as he could. Naruto had just begun and his senses were stretched out in a 30–45-mile radius around him. Suddenly Naruto felt Stark's signature suddenly enter his range, and he was traveling at a fast velocity. Naruto now had a lock on Tony and was heading out the door to go and get him.
Once Naruto was out of sight of the city he suited up and shot off flying towards Tony, "I'm bringing you back buddy." was all that Naruto said
(SHIELD)
"Sir, a UFO just popped up on our radar in Afghanistan, it seems to be the same UFO that we picked up in 2005. What do you want us to do Sir?" An agent said as Fury walked up behind the agent looking at the monitor.
'So, you finally decide to show yourself again now do you Uzumaki. Well, time to see what you're up to.' Fury thought, "Keep an eye on it and see where it stops and what it does.
(Tony's crash site)
Tony was just laying there, still amazed at the fact that he made it out alive. He was sad at the death of the one that saved his life: Ho Yinsen. When he had told Tony that he had a family and that he was going to see them after they 'escaped' he hadn't known that his family was already dead, he kind of started to piece it together when Yinsen went out with a gun to buy him time for his suit to fully power up.
Tony started to slowly get himself up and out of the sand, he heard a sonic boom and looked towards it only to see something orange flying straight for him, only for it to slow down as it was nearing him and it looked to be a person. Finally, it landed in front of him and Tony tensed up.
'Is this where I die? I never even got to propose to Pepper or tell her how I feel. God, or whoever is watching me. Please let me make it out of this alive and I promise to stop making weapons and turn towards something more beneficial towards the planet.' Tony thought to himself not knowing what this thing or person was.
(SHIELD while this is happening)
"Sir, it seems that this UFO is heading towards a person." The agent said
"Maria get me a visual on who that person is, I want to know who the UFO is meeting." Fury said, 'Are you collaborating with someone now Uzumaki?'
"Sir, the person seems to be Tony Stark who was kidnapped." the now-named Maria said
"Well, I'll be damned it looks to be rescuing Tony. Get me a clearer pictures of this, I want to confirm who this UFO rescuing Tony is." Fury commanded before the image began to shift, zoom, and clarify giving them a picture of Naruto's helmet.
(Back with Naruto)
"Relax Tony, It's just me." Naruto said as his helmet receded into his necklace
Tony calmed down for a second before he got a confused and shocked look on his face. Tony was about to open his mouth and ask Naruto what exactly he was when Naruto beat him to the punch.
"All will be explained in time, I came to find you as I was tired of waiting on Rhodeys attempts to find you. Now let's go, I have a room at a hotel about 45 miles from here." Naruto said before grabbing Tony as his helmet flowed back into place covering his face and taking off back towards the city.
(SHIELD while the interaction between Tony and Naruto takes place)
"Sir, we just ran facial recognition, and the UFO seems to be one Naruto Uzumaki, the same one that created themselves a fake ID back in 2005. Shall I create a file on Naruto Uzumaki?" Maria said
'Looks like I'm going to have to pay you a visit Mr. Uzumaki.' Fury thought, "Yes. I will get more information on them myself at a later date."
"At once sir." Maria said before they began typing away at the computer.
(Naruto's hotel room)
Naruto and Tony had just gotten back to his hotel room and Tony was in the Bathroom cleaning himself up while Naruto called Rhodey.
"Rhodey how fast can you get to my GPS coordinates, I found Tony and he is with my in my hotel room." Naruto said
Rhodey had someone get the GPS coordinates of Naruto's phone before he spoke up
"I can get to an area about a mile outside the city you are in about 3 hours." Rhodey said
"Alright see you then." Naruto said before hanging up the phone just as Tony came out looking a lot better than he did before
"Do they have a car shop in this city, I need to get a Car battery to charge this thing, so I don't die." Tony said before pointing to the electromagnet in his chest.
"No need I can just make one." Naruto said knowing the inner workings of a car battery having been looking into a better way to make car batteries at Menma.
Naruto brought his hands together and started to gather chakra creating a ball of chakra in the middle of his hands, fascinating Tony. Soon Naruto began to rearrange the chakra inside the ball into the different molecules needed to create a car battery. About 2 minutes later Naruto was done and in his hand, he held a high-capacity car battery that he set down before putting both hands on the different prongs of the car battery.
"Lightning Style: Quick Charge" Naruto said out before Tony saw electricity surround Naruto's hands before it promptly disappeared into the car battery that Naruto then picked up and handed to Tony which he connected to the electromagnet allowing it to charge.
"Ok, explanation. Now." Tony said with a face that demanded answers
Naruto waved his hands in defense, "Okay, Okay. I guess you do deserve some answers about the person that just rescued you."
Naruto revealed his Rinne Sharingan and began to put Tony under a genjutsu so that he could show him his world. "The Dimension where my wife and I come from our countries were in a constant state of war/conflict, our villages or cities as the people in this world would call them, would start to train us at a very young age to be Shinobi or Soldiers as you would call us. We would go thru the academy to learn all that we needed before we were given a test to determine if we could join a team and go out into the field. Now one thing that I want you guys to take note of is where my wife and I come from we have what is called Chakra, which is made of physical and spiritual energy. Everyone had Chakra, whether or not everyone could use it was a whole other subject. Anyways what differentiated the Shinobi from the civilians was the fact that we could harness our Chakra and do amazing things with it, ranging from manipulating the elements, to healing injuries. The night I was born, a masked man who would later be revealed as one of my Fathers students captured my mother and extracted what we called Biju or Tailed Beasts out of my mother and forced it to attack my home village. My father sacrificed his life to save the village, and sealed the Biju inside of me, using Fuinjutsu. But before he could do that the Biju tried to kill me to prevent itself from getting sealed again. My parents jumped in the way and took the hit to save me. Because of this, I was treated like a monster in my village, with them doing the worst things that you could imagine to me because they couldn't see me as the jailer only the prisoner. But enough of that long story short as I grew up an organization called the 'Akatsuki' formed to retrieve all 9 of the tailed beasts, to revive the original 'The 10 tails' which was nothing short of a monster. Long story short there was a war between this group and the rest of the 5 Great Ninja Villages. What we didn't expect was to fight a god, but we ended up winning, and at the end of the war to not be possibly used as weapons of war again they decided to stay within me, an adverse effect of this was I gained immortality and essentially becoming an extremely overpowered being amongst other things, I later came back to my home village and married my wife making her immortal along with me. A couple of years later we decided to leave what we thought at the time was our universe but turn out to be our 'Dimension' and travel the different Dimensions in search of a new place to call home to settle down for a quiet life when I unknowingly opened an infinite amount of portals into and an infinite amount of Dimensions because I opened an infinite amount of portals me and the other copies share everything minus feelings, that includes memories, powers and abilities. This the what I call the 'Multiverse Effect'" Naruto explained all while showing him the various things that he was talking about before he ended the genjutsu. As the surroundings faded back to normal.
"So, what are all of your abilities?" Tony asked curiously, depending on what Naruto could do this could create an infinite amount no opportunities to help the world.
"Well to put it shortly essentially I'm an extremely overpowered being, the long list well: Elemental and Sub elemental Manipulation, I can create anything I can think of from nothing, Flight and Inter-stellar travel, Super Strength, I can revive people from the dead, I can sense chakra signatures from a distance, everyone has a unique chakra signature, that's how I found you, Gravity manipulation in a way, Superspeed, Technopathy as well as Genius level intelligence when it comes to tech, I can create and manipulate my own magnetic field, I can also create chakra avatars and shields. I can mechanize parts of my body, I can absorb energy, I can read minds upon physical contact and also mind walk, I can expand parts of my body at will, I can control my shadow and use it to take control of other people, I can also create solid clones of myself, you might know one of them as Menma from I.T. and Tech. I can also harden my skin to be harder than Diamond." Naruto explained to Tony who just stood there with a shocked expression., "You might want to take a seat and process all of this. But I must ask you to keep all this a secret because I'm still trying to live a lowkey life, if this got out, the life I have built for me any Sakura would be gone." Naruto added before getting a nod from Tony before he went to go and sit on the bed.
(A 3 hours later)
Naruto had escorted Tony to the helicopter that would take them to the plane that would take them stateside.
When Rhodey got a hold of Tony he said only 7 words, "Next time you ride with me." Then they were off towards the plane.
They got on the plane and Naruto went over to a corner to meditate to keep himself from attacking Rhodey again for not doing his job correctly.
The next 12 hours were silent.
(12 hours later)
As the back door of the plane opens Naruto, Rhodey, and Tony were greeted by the faces of Sakura, Pepper with red eyes, and Happy waiting in front of the car.
Rhodey was helping Tony down the stairs on his left while Naruto was on his right.
"What your step right here." Rhodey said to Tony
They all walked up to the group that was there to greet them. Tony noticed that Pepper had red eyes.
"Your eyes are red. Have you been crying for me?" Tony asked
"Yes, do you know what your kidnapping put me thru?" Pepper said, "I love you and was worried for you." she whispered under her breath hoping that it was low enough for anyone besides Tony to hear. Thankfully he did hear her whisper
"Let's get in the car. Why don't we." Tony said before they all got into the car with Naruto in the passenger's seat and Sakura to Tony's right with Pepper to his left.
Once they were in the car and no one was looking Pepper leap at Tony burying her head in his chest and started crying, ignoring the pain of hitting her head against the arc reactor in Tony's chest. All Tony could do was hold her and rub her back.
"I thought I lost you. Never do that to me again." Pepper said thru her tears
"I will never do that to you again unless I can't help it." Tony said before he kissed Pepper on the lips which shocked Pepper at first but than she fully put herself into the kiss. They stayed like that for a good 5 seconds before they were broken out of it by the sound of Happy high fiving Naruto.
Tony and Pepper looked at them, "You knew Happy?" they asked
Happy stopped and didn't say anything only looking to Naruto, "Well yea with the way that you act around him it kinda makes it seem obvious. I just gave Tony the shove that he needed to clean his act up for you." He than looked at Tony, "Anyways where to Boss."
"Burger king, I want a burger." Tony said before looking at Pepper, "I want you to call for a press conference, I have a big announcement to make."
"What's the announcement?" Pepper asked worried that he was going to tell the world that he loved Pepper, not that she had a problem with it but it would paint her in a bad light as the personal assistant that was sleeping with their boss.
"It's time I lead this company in a different direction away from weapons." Tony said with a smile before Pepper smiled and got on the phone. As they drove away and Sakura started to look over Tony.
(A hour later – Press conference)
Tony, Naruto, and Obadiah made their way to the stage only for Tony to sit down in front of the podium with his cheese burger where he was shortly followed by Naruto.
"All right lets get started shall we?" Obadiah said, "Uhhhhh." he said as he looked around for Tony only to look over the podium to see Tony and Naruto sitting down.
Tony pulled out his final cheeseburger, "Hey, would it be all right with everyone if everyone sat down? Why don't you guys just sit down that way we can all see each other." he said motioning for everyone to sit down.
Obadiah sat to his right while Naruto sat to his left, Tony than looked at Obadiah, "It's good to see you man." Tony said
"It's good to see you back too." Obadiah said back
"You know I never got to say goodbye to dad." Tony said with a sad tone, before turning to the press, "I never did get to say goodbye to my father before he died." He added before putting his cheeseburger down
"There are questions that I would have asked my old man if I got the chance to. I would have asked him how he felt about what this company did. Whether or not he was conflicted or had doubts." Tony explained, "Or maybe he was all the man that we remember from the newsreels." He finished before pausing
Naruto took this as a cue to put his hand on Tony's shoulder, Tony looked up at Naruto. That gesture right there reassured him that everything would be alright, that he was alright.
"I saw young americans killed months ago by the weapons that I created so that they could defend themselves and us. And I saw that I had become part of a system where we are 100% comfortable with zero accountability." Tony finished, this caused murmurs throughout the crowd
One reporter in the front caught his attention, Tony quickly read the tag, the young mans name was Ben. "Ben" Tony called out causing everyone to quiet down.
"Mr. Stark what exactly happened over there?" Ben asked causing Tony to stand up and move behind the podium followed shortly by Naruto who put himself in between Tony and Obadiah unknowingly for some reason
"I had my eyes opened to what my actions were causing. This causing me to realize that I have more this world, this planet than just making stuff that blows up. Which is why effective immediately, I am shutting down the weapons manufacturing division of Stark International." Tony said, near the end Obadiah had gotten up to try and push Tony away from the podium only to be halted by Naruto who wouldn't let him
"Until such a time as I can decide what direction this company will go in, one I'm more comfortable in, and is in line with the highest good for this country, as well." Tony finished before walking off the Podium followed by Naruto before Obadiah stepped up to the podium
"What we should all take from this is that Tony's back! And that he is healthier than ever. We will have a little internal discussion and we will get back to you with a follow-up." Obadiah said
(Stark Industries – Reactor Building)
Tony and Naruto were currently looking up at the arc reactor that was the tech behind the electromagnet that was keeping Tony alive.
"So you actually managed to finish what your dad couldn't." Naruto said, "I mean its good for you, but I have already done something similar, but with a nuclear fusion reactor. Our house was off the grid with in the first 2 weeks, after I got all the licenses that I needed to make the modification to our house." Naruto added
"Yep, I finished what my dad couldn't as for the other part of what you said. Well you're a fucking Ninja god, what isn't there that you can't do." Tony said, saying the last part with sarcasm
"Cut the ninja stuff Obadia." Naruto said as they turned towards the door as Obadiah.
"Naruto I would like a word with Tony, if you would please leave." Obadiah said clearly irritated with what Naruto did back at the press conference
"After what happened to Tony, that's not going to happen, I'm not leaving his side any time soon. Now if you want to have a word with Tony is will have to be with me here." Naruto said not budging on the matter
Obadiah was mad, but Naruto did have a point, "Fine you can stay."
"Any way's, that went well." Obadiah said while putting a Cigar in his mouth and lighting up
"Did I just paint the biggest target on the back of my head?" Tony asked jokingly
Obadiah began to walk towards Tony, "Your head, man what about my head. What do you think the over-under of the stock drop is gonna be tomorrow?" he finished as he paced behind Tony
"Um realistically, 40 points." Tony responded
"That's at minimum." Obadiah said before stopping right next to Tony and put his hand on the railing
"Tony, we're a weapons manufacturer." Obadiah said trying to convince Tony to change his position on the company
Tony got defensive, "Obie, I just don't want a body count to be the only thing that the company means." Tony said firmly looking him straight in the eye
"That's what we do. We are Iron mongers, we thrive on conflict and war, because we make weapons." Obadiah said still trying to convince Tony
"Is that not my name on the side of the building?" Tony said going back on the defense again
"And what we do keeps the world from falling into chaos." Obadiah said
Tony shook his head, "Not based on what I saw out there. Quite the opposite."
That shut Obadiah up, "We are not doing a good job, we need to do better, we are going to do something else." Tony said leaving no room for argument
"Oh, and do tell, what we are going to do instead?" Obadiah said sarcastically, "Make baby bottles?"
"I think that we should take another look at arc reactor tech." Tony said seriously
"Tony, come on. The arc reactor, that's a publicity stunt that we did to shut the hippies up." Obadiah said sounding skeptical
"It works." was all that Tony said
"Yeah, but as a science project. The arc reactor was never cost effective. We knew that before we built it. Arc reactor technology, that's a dead end, right?" Obadiah said
Now it was Naruto's turn to facepalm, "Remind me to kick Rhodey's ass next time I see him. Tony, he knows just show him."
Tony complied and unbuttoned his shirt, showing Obadiah the electromagnet keeping him alive, "It works." was all that he said
Obadiah laughed before buttoning up Tony's shirt, Naruto didn't like the sound of where this was going so, he put himself between Tony and Obadiah.
"What do you think your doing boy." Obadiah said mad at what Naruto did
"Keeping Tony safe, that's what. Tony may not be able to see thru you, but I do. Now please step away." Naruto said
Obadiah complied, "Listen to me, Tony. We are a team, you and I. Do you understand that? There is nothing we can't do together. Exactly like your father and I."
"I'm sorry that I did not give you a heads-up, okay. I've kinda been in captivity for the past 3 fucking months. So if you could cut me some slack." Tony said
"Tony, I understand. Just no more of this 'ready, fire, aim' bullshit. Do you understand me?" Obadiah said with a smile on his face
Tony frowned, "That's dad's line."
"You have to let me handle this, we are going to have to play a whole different ball game now. We are going to have to take a lot of heat. So I want you to lay low." Obadiah said before looking at Naruto, "Make sure that he lays low." He told Naruto
Naruto gave him a frown, "Last time I checked Tony is the one that hired me giving you little to say in regards to my job."
Obadiah said nothing as he just walked out the door.
(A few hours later – Tony's Mansion – Tony's Garage)
Tony had just built a better-refined version of the arc reactor that he would go in his chest to power the electromagnet, Naruto was there with him in case things went bad, and now all he needed was someone with small hands.
"Pepper how big are your hands?" Tony asked over the intercom in the house
"What?" Pepper replied back not understanding why it mattered
"How big are your hands?" Tony once again asked over the intercom
"I don't understand why the size of my hands is relevant to anything." Pepper replied
"Just get down here, please. I need you." was all that Tony said before the intercom went silent
Pepper walked down the stairs to the garage where Tony was sitting in a chair that was reclined back. Pepper entered the room getting Tony's attention.
"Hey. Let's see them. Show me your hands." Tony said before Pepper lifted her hands into the air as she walked towards Tony
"Oh, wow. They small, very petite, and sexy, indeed." Tony said with a grin on his face causing Pepper to blush
Pepper finally got a better look at Tony and could see the Mk I arc reactor in his chest, and he seemed to be holding another brighter and more advanced one.
"I just need your help for a second." Tony said as he eyed the new arc reactor in his hand
Pepper started to get tearful, "Oh my God. Is that thing that is keeping you alive right now?"
"Pepper look at me, it's fine, I'm fine. And yes, it was, but now its an antique. I have built a new, stronger, and more powerful one that isn't as power-hungry, so it lasts longer." Tony said raising the Mk II into the air for her to see, "This is what will keep the shrapnel from entering my heart for the foreseeable future. I'm swapping it out now, I just ran into a little speed bump that requires the use of smaller hands."
"Speedbump, what do you mean by speed bump?" Pepper said concerned
"It's nothing really, just a little snag." Tony said as he unlatched the current arc reactor in his chest, "There is just an exposed wire under this mini-arc reactor, and it's contacting this socket wall, and causing a bit of a shortage. It's fine." Tony finished as he yanked the old arc reactor out and handed it to Naruto, to which he put it on the table
"What I need you to do, is reach in and gently lift the wire out. Now do make sure not to yank on it too hard or you will pull the magnet keeping me alive out." Tony explained
Pepper reached her hand in and made a sour face when her hand touched what she thought was pus.
"Oh, my, god, there's pus." Pepper squealed
"It is not pus. Its inorganic plasmic discharge from the device." Tony corrected her
"It smells." Pepper commented.
"That it does, that it does." Tony agreed
Pepper successfully had the wire and lightly yanked it moving it out of the way.
"Now take this." Tony said as he handed her the new arc reactor, to which she grabbed, "And plug that on in." he added as she grabbed the plug that was hanging off it and stuck her hand back in plugging it in giving Tony a little shock, causing him to let out a sudden 'YOW'
"Are you okay?" Pepper asked concerned
"Yea, I feel great." He said as he kissed her on the lips causing her to moan
Tony then hopped off the chair, and Pepper grabbed the old arc reactor, "What do you want me to do with this?"
Tony took one look at it, "Destroy it."
'I've got a better idea of what to do with this and you might even like it Tony.' Pepper thought to herself
(Elsewhere - Stark International's Airport Hangar)
Stane waited at the airport patiently seeing a plane beginning to land and smiled as he saw a familiar contact
"What have you got for me now Stane" a woman with a golden mask and black hair asked straight to the point
"Stark Industries newly built Jericho missile." Stane said as he brought out some industrial boxes with 'Stark' labeled on it The masked woman examined the contents and simply nodded
"Thank you Stane I'll be overseeing any more transactions" she said to him
"Not an issue on my end Madam Masque" Stane said as he walked away
(Tony's Garage – Same Time)
Over the next few days, Naruto would hang out with Tony keeping him stuck in the garage while he worked on his Mk II Iron man suit, watching Tony go thru the various trial and error stages of making his armor, which to be honest was kind of funny at times. Tony was designing something with his computer.
Tony had something on his mind and wanted Naruto's input, "Hey, Naruto you know how I missed Pepper's birthday due to my capture." he said getting Naruto's attention
"Yea, what about it." Naruto said curiously as to where his best friend was going with this
"I was thinking of throwing her a surprise birthday party seeing as I missed hers. What's your take." Tony asked
"Go for it, she'll love it." Naruto simply said, "Be sure to get her favorite food." he added
At that Tony had JARVIS begin planning the surprise birthday party, inviting all the staff from Stark industries, and Rhodey. He had all of Pepper's likes and dislikes on file thanks to Tony being somewhat attentive, so he made sure to get her a Blueberry flavored cake covered in blueberries. Tony would be in charge of the music as Pepper liked classical music which was kind of Tony's specialty.
"Alright, sir I have everything that planned out based on what I have on file for Ms. Potts. When would you like for the party to be?" JARVIS asked
"Let's have it 2 weeks from now, that gives people time to make room in their schedule if they want to attend, and put in the invitations that this is a surprise so nobody is to say a word to Pepper." Tony replied before going back to work on designing his Mk II.
(A few hours later)
After some testing on Tony's part, he decided that he needed something to help stabilize himself when he was flying, so now he was making a flight stabilizer. As Tony was putting it on Pepper walked down carrying a mug with coffee in it as well as a box that was scrapped up in basic paper.
"I've been buzzing you. Did you hear the intercom?" Pepper asked
"No, sorry I have been busy designing the MK II. This right here is the flight stabilizer." Tony said showing her the contraption that was around his arm, "Why what's up?" Tony added
"Obadiah is upstairs. What would you like me to tell him." Pepper said causing Naruto to frown
"Great, tell him I'll be right up." Tony said before he took off the flight stabilizer, "JARVIS, remind me to test the flight stabilizer when I get back down here." He added
"Sure, thing sir." JARVIS said
Tony looked over at Naruto, "You coming?"
Naruto shrugged his shoulders, "Sure." before they both started up the stairs. When they reached the top of the stairs they hear the Piano playing.
"How did it go?" Tony asked before Tony saw the pizza, "Wow that bad?" he added
"Just because I bring pizza back from New York doesn't mean it went bad." Obadiah said
"Yea sure it doesn't, and I'm president of the United States." Tony shot back before opening the box and grabbing a slice and turning the box towards Naruto as he grabbed a slice.
"It would have gone a lot better had you been there." Obadiah said
Tony shook his head while taking a bite of the pizza, "Nah uh, you told me to lay low."
"Come one you know what I meant by lay low. In public, the press. This was a board of directors meeting." Obadiah argued as he got up from the Piano and started to walk towards Tony, shocking Tony at the last part.
"The board is claiming you have PTSD, and they are filing and injunction, they want to lock you out." Obadiah explained, shocking Tony further
Naruto was mad, they were trying to manipulate it to where Tony couldn't change the direction of the company. "That's not possible, I own at least 35% of Stark Industries and 25% of international. There is no way that this can happen without my vote as I count for 2 votes." Naruto said in anger, getting Obadiah's attention.
"What does it matter if you have 2 votes, you are Personal Security, what would you know about running a company?" Obadiah said in a joking manner further pissing Naruto off
Naruto's eyes turned red and slitted, and you could feel his anger in the atmosphere, he hated when people tried to manipulate things to further their agenda, Naruto didn't know what to do with his anger, so he looked around for the neared non-living object that he could break. Coincidentally he was right next to a big granite stone that Tony had imported from Granite Creek. Naruto turned to the stone and punched it as hard as he could making sure not to pulverize it.
All everyone heard was a loud crack and boom before the granite stone next to Naruto split in 4, scaring Obadiah, and Pepper.
"I don't know what you're trying to do Obadiah, but you're beginning to mess with things that you will never be ready to handle." Naruto said in a bit of a deeper voice as he stepped away from the Granite stone, that he just split in 4
"Naruto, calm down." was all that Tony said before Naruto's eyes turned back to normal, and the atmosphere turned back to normal
"Sorry, my anger gets the best of me sometimes." Naruto apologized
Tony looked at Obadiah, "Why are they doing this because the stocks dipped 40 points? We knew that was going to happen"
"56 and a half." Pepper corrected, causing Tony to look over at her with a look at basically said 'You aren't helping'
"It doesn't matter. We own the controlling interest in this company." Tony said a little bit angry at Pepper, causing her to have a little bit of a heartbroken look, before Tony realized this and backed off, giving her a wordless 'I'm sorry'.
"Tony, the board has rights, too you know." Obadiah said, "They are making the case that this new direction that you want to take is not in the company's best interest." he further explained
Tony got a defensive look, "So me making the company take a more responsible approach is bad?" looking to both Obadiah and Pepper, getting a smile out of Obadiah and an impassive look from Pepper.
"This is great." was all that Tony said
Tony had had enough, Tony got up and grabbed the pizza, "Oh, come on Tony, be reasonable." Obadiah said
"I'll be in the shop if you need me." was all that Tony said heading for this garage, Obadiah got up to go after Tony
"Hey, Tony. Just listen." Obadiah said turning Tony around before Naruto walked up and grabbed Obadiah's hands and tossed them away.
"Tony, I'm trying to turn this around for you, but you have to give me something to show them that it's a promising direction." Obadiah pleaded
Obadiah then pointed at the mini-arc reactor in Tony's chest, "Let me have the engineers analyze that and draw up some specs."
Tony didn't like where this was going, "No. Absolutely not, this one stays in New York with me!." he said firmly
"Come on, it'll give me a bone to throw them." Obadiah pleaded once more
"That's it Obie. Forget it. Come on Naruto let's go back down to the shop." Tony said before he started heading back down to his shop
Obadiah grabbed the pizza box from Tony, "All right then, this stays with me.", Obadiah then reopened the box, "Go on you can have another piece." he added before Tony grabbed a slice and Naruto went for one as well, but Obadiah closed the box before Naruto could get one.
"I didn't say that you could have another one. You know your really starting to get on my nerves. And trust me Naruto, I'm not someone that you want as an enemy." Obadiah threatened causing Naruto and Tony to laugh
"No, Obadiah, I think it's the other way around." Naruto said before Tony and Naruto continued down to the garage
'You better watch your back Naruto. Cause if you don't you will regret it.' Obadiah thought to himself
"You mind if I come down there and see what you're doing?" Obadiah asked hoping to see what Tony was working on
"Over my dead body." was all that Naruto said before he disappeared down the stairs
(Almost a week later – Night-Time - Tony's shop)
Tony had finally got a working version of his suit read and was now suiting up.
"So do you want me to just say here or do you want me to follow you and make sure nothing happens?" Naruto asked as Tony finished suiting up and putting on his faceplate before uploading JARVIS into the suit, going thru that whole ordeal.
"You can follow me if you want, but I'm pretty sure that I will be okay." Tony said confident in his design
"Sir, I still think that you should allow the calculations to be made before you actually try and fly." JARVIS insisted
"No JARVIS, we will do a quick test flight and be done for the night." Tony said before getting a sigh JARVIS
"As you wish sir." was all that JARVIS said
"Alright, it's showtime." Tony said before Naruto's suit melted onto his body and lit up
Tony took off quickly followed by Naruto, the test flight was going perfectly fine until Tony decided to be a daredevil and see how high he could go.
"Alright, let's see what this thing can do." Tony said as he shot straight up, "What's the SR-71's Record?" he asked JARVIS
"The Highest Altitude record for fixed-wing flight is 85,000 feet, sir." JARVIS stated
"Alright, records are made to be broken! Let's see if we can hit 86,000 feet." Tony said excitedly as he began to climb fast in altitude.
Soon Tony was up near the altitude that started to cause Ice buildup on the suit, "Sir, there is a potentially fatal buildup of ice occurring, I suggest that you turn back now." JARVIS stated while Naruto was right behind Tony
Soon enough the ice buildup became too much and the suit shut down and Tony began to fall, only for Naruto to catch and hold him mid-air.
"Alright, I think this test flight has come to a finish. Time to go back to the shop." Naruto said as he flew back to Tony's house before setting Tony down in front of the entrance of his garage so that he could walk back down. After he set Tony down they both began to walk down the driveway, with Naruto's suit melting back into his necklace.
Once they were back in Tony's Shop Tony noticed the package that Pepper brought when she brought him his coffee, he picked it up and it said 'From Pepper'. Naruto walked up to Tony and motioned for him to open it, Tony opened the package to reveal his old arc reactor with a plate surrounding the out rim of it reading 'Proof that Tony Stark has a heart'. Tony smiled at this before looking at Naruto.
"Did you have something to do with this?" he asked
"Not a single bit, that was all Pepper." Naruto replied
(Back with Tony and Naruto)
Tony was at his computer making adjustments to his suit, such as changing the material of the suit so that it could withstand and get to higher altitudes while also maintaining a Power to weight ratio that was good. Tony then turns to Naruto having the topic of suit materials on his mind.
"Hey, Naruto quick question." Tony said getting Naruto's attention.
"Sure, what's up?" Naruto replied
"What exactly is your suit made of?" Tony asked
"Indestructible Nanorobots, it's material is only found/known to our world called chakra metal. It's metal that is chakra conductive, and before you ask if you can use it in your suit. No, it's impossible as you have a dormant chakra network, you would need an active one that where you could actually use your chakra. The only reason my suit works is that it's powered by my chakra, meaning that even if someone managed to get this necklace off me, they wouldn't be able to use." Naruto explained, "It also has a summoning seal on it, so in the off chance that it does get taken or knocked off I can resummon it back to my neck." He added before walking up to Tony
Naruto then placed his hand on Tony's shoulder and black writing started to appear on his shoulder before it stopped. Tony looked up at Naruto, "What the hell did you just do to me?" he asked
"I placed a seal marker on you so that if you are ever in trouble I can easily teleport to you. If you ever need me all you need to do is place your hand on it and it will send out a signal. If you're in your suit then you can just have JARVIS notify me." Naruto explained before Tony heard something over the TV
"Tonight's smoking red-hot red carpet is right here at the Disney Concert Hall, where Tony Stark's third annual benefit for the Firefighter's Family Fun has become the place to be for L.A.'s high society." The reporter said over the T.V.
"Hey JARVIS, did we get an invite to that?" Tony asked
"I have nothing on record for in terms of Invitations besides Pepper's surprise birthday, sir." JARVIS said
Tony resumed listening to the TV, "Tony Stark hasn't been seen in public since his bizarre and highly controversial press conference. Some even claim that he's suffering from PTSD and has been bedridden for weeks. Whatever it is no one is expecting him to make an appearance tonight." The reporter said
"Sir the render has been completed." JARVIS said
"Seem's a bit flashy don't you think?" Tony commented
"Of course, what was I thinking? You're usually so discreet." JARVIS said sarcastically
Tony then began to look around for a color to add before landing on the car that he had just finished working on. "How about we throw a little bit of hot rod red in there."
"Absolutely sir, that should help you keep a low profile." JARVIS said before rerendering the suit, "The render is complete." he said
"I love it. Fabricate it. Paint it." Tony instructed
"At once sir, Commencing automated assembly, Estimated completion time is five hours." JARVIS said
"Don't wait on me." Tony said before looking to Naruto, "How would you like to crash a party."
"Sure, I'll call up Sakura and have her come to." Naruto said, "Hagoromo tell Sakura to dress fancy, we are going to crash a party."
"At once sir." Hagoromo said
Tony gave Naruto a weird look, "Who was that?"
"You're not the only one with a personal A.I." was all that Naruto said, "I'll meet you there." he added before teleporting away
(Half an hour later – Firefighters Family Benefit)
Naruto and Sakura walked up just as Tony arrived, Naruto was wearing an orange suit and tie, while Sakura was wearing a pink dress with an open back.
"You ready to crash a party?" Tony asked as he gave the car to the valet for them to take care of
"Always" was all that Naruto said before getting a light punch in the ribs for saying it
"You know what I mean Honey." Naruto said
They both started walking before Naruto was stopped by an experienced man with a lot of wisdom and character, he had a bright personality and a joyful and inspirational nature about him.
"You have done a great job of taking care of Tony, I want to commend you for that." the man said
"Thank you, sir, I am only doing my job." Naruto said with a smile
"You didn't have to go and fly into the desert to rescue him. That's going above and beyond the call of duty." the man said shocking Naruto.
"I'm afraid I have no idea what you're talking about." Naruto said trying to blow it off
"Son, I know all about your secret. Don't ask me how I know, some things are better left unsaid." the man said before patting Naruto on the back. "Why don't you go and catch up with Tony." he said before turning back to his female companions
Naruto and Sakura hurried after Tony, only to see him with Obadiah, "What's the world got to come to when a guy has to crash his own party?" causing Obadiah to laugh
"Look at you. Well, what a surprise we have tonight." Obadiah said
Tony began to walk past Obadiah before he grabbed his arm, "Hey. Listen , take it slow, alright? I think I have the board right where we want them." Obadiah said, Tony resumed his way into the building quickly followed by Naruto and Sakura, as Naruto and Sakura pass Obadiah, he reached out and grabbed Sakura's arm startling her. Sakura had to do her best to not let her shinobi instincts take over. Obadiah pulls her away from Naruto causing Naruto to turn around to face Obadiah.
Naruto had to do everything that he could to not fucking punch Obadiahs lights out and kill him, "Just what do you think you're doing with my wife Obadiah. You know for a fact that she is married."
"Naruto, why don't you let me keep her for a minute and I'll let her get back to you later?" Obadiah said with a smirk on his face
Sakura was having none of it and tried to force herself away from Obadiah, Obadiah anticipated this and tightened his grip on Sakura.
"Where do you think you're going?" Obadiah said
"Away from you, your such an ass why would I want to spend any time with you." Sakura said, which really angered Obadiah
Obadiah pulled her back to him, "Fine if you want to go back to your husband so bad then go." he said, but not before reeling his hand back and backhanding her and pushing her towards Naruto at the same time.
All Naruto saw was red, "Now you have done it Obadiah", Next thing Obadiah knows he is on the ground with a bloody nose, with the crowd gasping.
"Next time you touch someone I care about without their permission, I'll put you in the fucking ground." Naruto said before he picked his wife back up and checked her over, seeing the bruise that Obadiah caused he was having none of it and walked up to Obadiah again and punched him again knocking him out, "Someone get this asshole a stretcher he's not waking up till tomorrow morning." he said before walking back to Sakura, hooking his arm with hers and continuing inside as people began to call an ambulance
(Inside the Concert Hall)
Tony had just finished talking to Agent Coulson and was now walking over to Pepper.
"You look absolutely beautiful in that dress." Tony said getting Peppers attention
"What are you doing here aren't you suppose to be at your mansion?" Pepper asked
"Nothing much, just avoiding government agents." Tony replied
"Are you by yourself?" Peppers said concerned
"No, Naruto and his wife are here with me." Tony said as he looked towards the door only to see Naruto and Sakura just entering.
"See he is right there." Tony said reassuring her, "Where did you get that dress?" he asked
"It was a birthday present from you." Pepper said
Tony smirked, "Well I must say I have great taste then."
Naruto and Sakura walked up to the unofficial couple. As they got closer Tony and Pepper could now see the bruise that Obadiah had caused.
Pepper gasped, and Tony looked at Naruto demanding answers
"What happened to you?" Pepper asked
"No this was Obadiah's doing after I called him a jackass for wanting to tear me away from my husband." she explained, shocking Pepper and Tony
"I could never expect something like this from Obadiah." Pepper said still shocked
"I'm going to bring this to the board of directors and demand that Obadiah be booted from the company." Tony said, little did he know there was nothing that he could do as he got locked out of the company.
"Let's just enjoy the rest of the night." Naruto said
Tony then turned to Pepper, "Would you like to dance?"
Pepper blushed, "Sure" was all that she said
Naruto, Sakura, Tony, and Pepper danced for a good half hour before they decided to get some drinks. The men headed over to the bar to get some alcohol leaving the women all by themselves.
"4 Martinis with 2 dirty and 1 extra olives." Tony ordered
Suddenly Christine Everhart walked up to Tony.
"Wow. Tony Stark, nice to see you here." Christine said
"Hello to you too Christine."
"You've got a lot of nerve showing up here tonight." Christine said
"And why would that be?" Tony asked
"You're company's involvement in the latest atrocity." Christine informed
"I have no idea what you're talking about, they just put my name on the invitation. Don't know what to tell you." Tony said confused
"Wow, I almost bought it, hook, line and sinker." Christine said flabbergasted
"Unless you haven't read the news. I have kinda been out of town for the last 3 months." Tony said
Christine handed Tony some pictures, "Is this what you call being accountable?"
Tony looked at some of the pictures before getting Naruto's attention.
"It's a town called Gulmira. You ever heard of it?" Christine asked
This got Tony's attention as it was Ho's hometown, he and Naruto began to look at the pictures, all they say was death and destruction before something caught Tony's eye. it was a box that was being carried, he flipped to the next picture only for it to a clear enlarged picture of the box in the previous picture with the words 'Stark Industries' on the side. What really shocked Tony was the next picture. It was the Jericho missile that he had just created.
Tony looked at Christine, "When were these taken?"
"Yesterday" she said plainly
"I'm sorry to tell you but I did not approve of any shipment containing these." Tony said
"Well, you might not have, but your company did." Christine said
Tony got defensive, "Well, I am not my company."
Tony then turned to Naruto, "Where is Obadiah."
"Sleeping like the Baby that he is." Naruto replied, getting a look from Tony that said 'explain'
"I may or may not have knocked him out after what he did to Sakura." Naruto explained before shrugging his shoulders
"Well look like we will have to talk to Obadiah tomorrow." Tony said before they got their drinks and headed back to their respective women.
(The next day – Morning)
Tony and Naruto had just heard on the news that Tony had been locked out of the company and they were now on their way to Obadiah's mansion in Tony's car.
"I can't believe that they did this to me." Tony said still shocked at what happened
"Neither can I." was all that Naruto said still furious that this had happened, it shouldn't have happened, Naruto owned a decent part of the stocks for Starks company, and this to pass even with him saying no was something else.
They soon arrived at Obadiah's mansion only to find several teams of Bodyguards patrolling the place. One team of bodyguards spotted Tony and Naruto and walked up to them.
"State your Names and business or leave the premises." one of the guards said
"Tony Stark, and Naruto Uzumaki. I am here to see Obadiah about why I am locked out of my own company. Naruto here is my personal bodyguard and goes anywhere that I do now." Tony explained before the guard reached up to press his earpiece
"I have one Tony Stark and Naruto Uzumaki here to see you Mr. Stane." the guard said into his earpiece
A couple of 'Uh huh's later and the guard looked back to Tony.
"You're fine to go and talk to Obadiah but Mr. Uzumaki has to stay out here." the guard said
"Yea not going to happen, I go where he goes. Obadiah doesn't like it he can stick it." Naruto said
"Naruto calm down." Tony said before looking at the guard, "Can Obadiah come out here to talk then?" he asked
The bodyguard pressed on his earpiece again, "Sir, Tony wants you to come out here to talk."
"Uh-huh, yes sir." the bodyguard said before looking up at Tony, "Obadiah will be out in a few minutes, under the condition that Mr. Uzumaki says in the car."
"That's fine." Tony said
A few minutes later and Obadiah came dressed in a red tshirt and shorts, and a bandage on his nose from what Naruto did to him the previous night.
"How can I help you Tony." Obadiah said with a smile which irked Naruto
"What happened, why am I locked out of the company?" Tony asked
"It was the only way for me to keep you safe. I filed the injunction." Obadiah answered
Tony was speechless but decided to ask Obadiah a different question.
"Have you seen the pictures in Galmira? Is the company dealing under the table?" Tony asked
"Tony, you can't afford to be this naïve." Obadiah said
"You know what? I'm not naïve, before I was naïve, when they said, 'Here's the line. We don't cross it' and 'This is how we do business'. Now I can see clearly, this company is doing more harm than good." Tony explained, "Are we double-dealing under the table." Tony asked
Obadiah paused for a second, trying to figure out how to do this. In the end he decided to just send them away.
"Goodbye Tony, see you when you have your head on straight." Obadiah said before he turned around and headed back into his mansion
Naruto was starting to get out of the car causing the guards to raise their weapons at him.
"I fucking dare you." was all that Naruto said before Tony looked at him
"Naruto stand down, its not worth it." Tony said causing Naruto to stop and return to his seat
"Good boy." was all that Obadiah said further angering Naruto
"Obadiah I suggest that you stop. I can only do so much to keep him from harming you." Tony said warning Obadiah before he walked over to the driver's side of the car and got in.
"This isn't over Obie." Tony said before driving off
(Tony's shop – Later in the morning)
Naruto and Tony were watching the news in Gulmeria while Tony was making some fine-tune adjustments to his suit. While Tony was watching the TV he got a glint in his eye. Naruto noticed it and decided to speak up.
"Before we go fighting you need to test your aim with those things." Naruto said before he created 5 shadow clones, "Hit all 5 without hitting anything else." he instructed
Tony easily hit all 5, before looking to Naruto, "Guessing you're going to be running backup in case things get ugly." only to get a nod for Naruto before starting to get suited up. Then they were off. Closely followed by Naruto
Naruto watched as Tony did his thing flying a ways behind when Tony was done and heading back. Just then 2 F-22 raptors showed up and were now tailing Tony, Naruto knew that Tony could handle this so he just stayed back unnoticed by the raptors. Son the raptors engaged Tony who began to try and lose them, one fired a missile at Tony which saved himself using a flair, they followed Tony and began to fire at him with their machines guns. Tony seeing that he needed to call Rhodey back decided to try and catch a ride on the underside of the raptors. Tony deployed his flaps to lose them before hugging and grabbing onto the bottom of one of them successfully.
Soon the raptors were given orders to return to base, as one turn and began to fly away the other one found Tony on the underbelly of this brethren jet. Soon the jet with Tony on the underbelly of it began to spin around before Tony was tossed off. Naruto shot off knowing where Tony was going to hit and was in the position he needed to be to catch the plane and bring it safely to the ground.
(Air Force Command Center)
"Sir, another Bogey just showed up on radar and is headed for the second raptor." the officer said, "What do you want them to do?" he asked
"Engage the Target." Major Allen ordered
(Back with Tony and Naruto)
Tony had just been shaken off and was headed for the other jet. Naruto was already under it when Tony took out the wing. The jet that was hit fully expected to start losing altitude faster than the currently was as well as spin out of control. Much to the pilot's confusion he didn't, yes he was losing altitude, but not nearly as fast as he should have been with just 1 wing.
"Why am I not spinning out of control?" The pilot asked
"There seems to be a man underneath your plane keeping you steady. And the wing that broke off is just levitating mid-air by the side of your jet." the other pilot answered, "Sir do I still engage?" he asked
"If you have a clear shot you engage." was all that Major Allen said
And with that said the jet did a lap around and started firing on Naruto, what shocked the pilot was that the Bullets seemed to freeze and float in mid-air when they got within a foot of Naruto.
Naruto then got from under the Jet, and everything moved with him, Naruto than shot the bullets towards the ground as he descended with Tony following him. Once they reached the ground Naruto released the Jet and its wing before grabbing Tony as a portal opened behind them to which they stepped thru before it closed.
(Tony's shop)
Naruto and Tony exited the portal, before it closed behind them
"Well, that was eventful." Tony commented
"To be honest this was kind of expected." Naruto said before Tony got a call from Rhodey
"Tony what the hell was that." Rhodey asked
"Well, the armor was me, as in I was in it, the other one… well that's not my secret to tell." Tony explained
"What am I supposed to tell the press happened?" Rhodey asked
"The usual, training exercise gone bad." Tony simply stated
"Fine, but you owe me an explanation for both you and the other one that saved the jet." Rhodey demanded
"I can explain the suit, but as I said the other one is not for me to explain." Tony said once again
"Just tell him to come by your shop, I have to also explain this to Pepper as you guys are a thing now." Naruto instructed
"Just come by my shop and all will be explained." Tony said
"See you in 30." Rhodey said before hanging up
Tony than began to take his suit off before Pepper walked down the stairs. She saw what Tony was doing any quickly opened the door to enter the shop. Upon entering, she took notice of the other figure that was sitting near Tony.
"Pepper please take a seat we have some explaining to do once Rhodey gets here." Naruto called out not even turning to look at her
Pepper complied and sat down in the chair next to Naruto, she looked over to Naruto, "Naruto is that you?"
Naruto's mask melted away revealing his face, "As I said all will be revealed when Rhodey gets here."
Pepper decided to wait for answers and turned to her unofficial Boyfriend, seeing the holes in his suit she got worried, "Are those bullet holes?" Pepper asked in a worried tone before looking to Naruto, "Aren't you suppose to be making sure that he stays at home?" she asked
Naruto shrugged his shoulders, "A man can only take so much of staying in one place for too long, before we start to go insane."
(Half an hour later -Tony's Shop)
Rhodey had finally arrived, and Naruto had gone and gotten Sakura as the explaining had to do with her as well.
Pepper was looking at Naruto, and Rhodey was looking at Tony, waiting for an explanation.
Tony was the first to speak, "What you saw on your radar Rhodey was the suit that I create, a more refined version of what I built to get my out of captivity about 3 weeks ago." he then looked at Naruto as it was now his turn to explain
"Alright you guys might want to take a seat for this." Naruto instructed to which they did, "Naruto revealed his Rinne Sharingan and began to put Tony under a genjutsu so that he could show him his world. "The Dimension where my wife and I come from our countries were in a constant state of war/conflict, our villages or cities as the people in this world would call them, would start to train us at a very young age to be Shinobi or Soldiers as you would call us. We would go thru the academy to learn all that we needed before we were given a test to determine if we could join a team and go out into the field. Now one thing that I want you guys to take note of is where my wife and I come from we have what is called Chakra, which is made of physical and spiritual energy. Everyone had Chakra, whether or not everyone could use it was a whole other subject. Anyways what differentiated the Shinobi from the civilians was the fact that we could harness our Chakra and do amazing things with it, ranging from manipulating the elements, to healing injuries. The night I was born, a masked man who would later be revealed as one of my Fathers students captured my mother and extracted what we called Biju or Tailed Beasts out of my mother and forced it to attack my home village. My father sacrificed his life to save the village, and sealed the Biju inside of me, using Fuinjutsu. But before he could do that the Biju tried to kill me to prevent itself from getting sealed again. My parents jumped in the way and took the hit to save me. Because of this, I was treated like a monster in my village, with them doing the worst things that you could imagine to me because they couldn't see me as the jailer only the prisoner. But enough of that long story short as I grew up an organization called the 'Akatsuki' formed to retrieve all 9 of the tailed beasts, to revive the original 'The 10 tails' which was nothing short of a monster. Long story short there was a war between this group and the rest of the 5 Great Ninja Villages. What we didn't expect was to fight a god, but we ended up winning, and at the end of the war to not be possibly used as weapons of war again they decided to stay within me, an adverse effect of this was I gained immortality and essentially becoming an extremely overpowered being amongst other things, I later came back to my home village and married my wife making her immortal along with me. A couple of years later we decided to leave what we thought at the time was our universe but turn out to be our 'Dimension' and travel the different Dimensions in search of a new place to call home to settle down for a quiet life when I unknowingly opened an infinite amount of portals into and an infinite amount of Dimensions because I opened an infinite amount of portals me and the other copies share everything minus feelings, that includes memories, powers and abilities. This the what I call the 'Multiverse Effect'" Naruto explained all while showing him the various things that he was talking about before he ended the genjutsu. As the surroundings faded back to normal.
"So, what are all of your abilities?" Pepper and Rhodey asked
"Well to put it shortly essentially I'm an extremely overpowered being, the long list well: Elemental and Sub elemental Manipulation, I can create anything I can think of from nothing, Flight and Inter-stellar travel, Super Strength, I can revive people from the dead, I can sense chakra signatures from a distance, everyone has a unique chakra signature, that's how I found Tony, Gravity manipulation in a way, Superspeed, Technopathy as well as Genius level intelligence when it comes to tech, I can create and manipulate my own magnetic field, I can also create chakra avatars and shields. I can mechanize parts of my body, I can absorb energy, I can read minds upon physical contact and mind walk, I can expand parts of my body at will, I can control my shadow and use it to take control of other people, I can also create solid clones of myself, you might know one of them as Menma from I.T. and Tech. I can also harden my skin to be harder than Diamond." Naruto explained
Pepper, and Rhodey just said there with blank stares.
Pepper was the first one to move, and she came up to Naruto and hugged him, "Thank you for telling me, I know what you would have rather kept this all secret from all of us and just lived a normal quiet life. But you did for me."
"You're welcome, Pepper." Naruto told her
"So that was how you tossed me like a ragdoll. I thought you were on steroids or something." Rhodey simply said
Pepper had something on her mind and decided to speak up, "If you could do all of this why not get Tony back sooner?"
"That has to do with the Main timeline of the multiverse. Time is a tricky thing and if you mess with it, it could have catastrophic results. I was instructed by the earths Sorcerer Supreme not to get Tony until he had been in captivity for 3 months. I kept my word to her for the most part." Naruto simply stated, "Well, now that that is all sorted out, I think it's time that we call it a day." he said before he grabbed Sakura and they teleported away.
(The Next Day – Tony's garage)
Tony had called Naruto up and asked him to come by the shop as he needed Menma for something.
Naruto appeared in a flash of orange light, "Watcha need Tony." Naruto asked getting Tony and Pepper's attention
"I need you and Pepper to go Obadiah's office and get into the mainframe and retrieve all the recent company shipment manifests." Tony instructed before turning to Pepper, "I'm sending you with him as cover in case anyone shows up, your cover will be that you had to let him in. After that Naruto can come up with something."
Tony then gave Naruto a flash drive, "I want you to download anything you find on here. And be sure to check for any ghost drives."
Naruto laughed, "Tony you act like I know nothing about computers or hiding anything." causing Tony to sigh
"I just need to make sure everything it looked at." Tony said defensively
Naruto took the flash drive, before looking at Pepper, "Should we get going?" only getting a nod in return before they headed out.
(Stark Industries – Obadiah's Office)
Naruto was currently on Obadiah's computer going thru files when he found what they were looking for and so much more. Naruto stuck in the flash drive that Tony gave him and began to download everything that he found.
Obadiah walked in and saw Naruto at his computer, "What are you doing on my computer Naruto?"
Naruto looked up from the computer, "Sorry sir, you must have my twin Naruto and I mixed up. I'm his twin brother Menma from I.T. and Tech department, there was a reported breach in the mainframe, more than likely a rootkit or a trojan. I was called to check which computer it was and neutralize the threat and burn it out of the system thru the computer of origin. Your computer is just the first of many that I have to go thru today." Naruto explained under the disguise as Menma, silently using his technopathy to plant a harmless trojan on Obadiah's computer to verify is story
Obadiah not wanting him snooping around on his computer decided to try and get him to leave, "My apologizes, Menma, would you like a drink." he said while walking over to his alcohol, "Would you like a drink Menma?" he asked pouring 2 glasses, "I can assure you that the breach in security didn't come from my computer." he added
"Sure, I'll take the drink, and I'm sorry sir but this is company internal security protocol, it doesn't matter if you know that it isn't your computer, it still had to be done." Naruto informed him, before Stane handed him the glass of alchohol
Obadiah silently cursed; how could he forget about company internal security protocol. Naruto had just finish downloading all the files, before he had the 'Antivirus' software pop a window up saying that it had found a Trojan horse on the computer.
Naruto turned the monitor towards Stane, showing him the window that he made pop up, "Well, sir seems like someone has been snooping around in your office."
Obadiah was flabbergasted, "I don't know how this is possible, I'll have to tighten up security around here." getting a nod from Naruto before he hit the burn out button, stood up and walked away from the computer, flash drive hidden in his hand.
What Naruto forgot to do was dismiss the download complete window which is what Obadiah saw when he close the 'Antivirus' window.
"Shit." was all that Obadiah said before he looked up and Naruto was at the elevator, "Menma, wait." but Stane was to late and the door closed, Obadiah quickly moving to try and intercept Naruto.
(Stark Industries – Lobby)
Naruto had just made it to the lobby only to be greeted by Pepper talking with Caucasian man in a suit. Naruto walked up to them both.
"Pepper your going to want to see this, this is big. Bring your new friend with you if you want to but we need to get out of here." Naruto said before getting a nod from both.
"Agent Coulson, how about we go to my office, I was in the middle of something with Ms. Potts and if this is as big as you make it seem, I need to see it. My boss also wishes to speak with you Mr. Uzumaki." the now-named Coulson said before they started walking out before Naruto looked over his shoulder to see Obadiah leaning against the railing. Naruto decided to give him a quick smile.
(Later that day (Almost nighttime) – SHIELD – Coulson's Office)
Naruto had just finished showing Pepper and Coulson what he found.
"I'm going to assemble a team to go and shut this operation down. Pepper I need you to come with the me to let me into the building." Coulson instructed getting a nod
Coulson then turned to Naruto, "My boss wants to have a word with you." before Naruto nodded
About half an hour later Nick Fury showed up, "Hello, Naruto Uzumaki, you have been on our radar for quite some time now. Only with your recent rescue of America's most talented Billionaire really getting our attention."
Naruto gave Fury a smirk, "Was wondering when you guys were gonna show your face. You guys took your time to make sure I was your guy didn't you."
This surprised Fury, "How do you know about us?"
"Let's just say this isn't my first rodeo per say. I know all about your secret operation." Naruto replied
Fury shook his head, "That's besides the point, I wanted to meet you to ask if you would like to join my Avengers initiative."
'I don't like name of this initiative.' Naruto thought, Naruto got wary at the mention of 'Avenger' from his whole thing with Sasuke, "You will have to explain this initiative, I don't like the name so this better be good."
Fury nodded, "I assure you it is nothing bad, I am putting together a group of remarkable people, a group of people that can do more together than apart. I'd like the group to be earths last line of defense." he explained
Naruto took it all in, he wasn't about to be bossed around by the world if they found out what he could do, but maybe he could supervise this group that fury was putting together, "I would gladly join, but I want a few things ironed out."
This got Fury's attention, "And what things would need to be ironed out?"
Naruto crossed his arms, "First off, I am only to be used as a last resort. The absolute last line of defense, I came to this universe to live a quiet and peaceful life. Trust me, if you knew what I could do than adding me as an active member of this group would be absolute overkill. Second off, if I join this group, I listen to you and only you, anyone else can go fuck off. Third, you can ask for my help with anything that doesn't pertain to this world."
'If this guy is asking to be the absolute last line of defense, then he must be able to do some crazy shit.' Fury thought
Fury took a moment to think thru all the stuff that Naruto had requested, before sticking out his hand, "You have yourself a deal, but I will need a list of abilities, so I know what I am dealing with."

Fury just stood there for a minute, 'Holy shit, I might as well just make him the supervisor of this group.'
Naruto suddenly felt a pull from the marker on Tony's shoulder, Naruto turned to Fury, "Seems that this will have to be the end of our meeting, I am needed elsewhere." he said before teleporting away
(Nighttime – Tony's shop)
Naruto teleported to the mark on Tony and found him lying on the floor not moving, Naruto walked up to him and flipped him over, he looked dead, but he knew that he wasn't.
"What do you need Tony?" Naruto asked just as Rhodey came down the stairs getting Naruto's attention, "Let me guess Pepper sent you to check on Tony." only getting a nod from Rhodey in return
Naruto looked back and saw Tony pointing at the Antique arc reactor that Pepper had made into a momento, he quickly shattered the glass case before picking it up, Naruto then helped Tony up into a chair and gave him the reactor, Tony popped it in and instantly felt better.
Tony looked to Rhodey, "Where is Pepper?"
"She is with 5 agents, and they're about to arrest Obadiah." Rhodey replied
Tony shook his head, "That's not going to be enough." before he got up and began walking over to get suited up, quickly followed by Naruto
Rhodey just watched in awe, "That has got to be the coolest thing I have ever seen."
Tony grinned, "I know right."
Once Tony was done and he was getting ready to head out the drive way, "Anything you need me to do anything else?"
Tony turned to him, "Keep the skies clear."
"I'll play defense with Pepper, make sure she doesn't get hurt." Naruto said before taking disappearing in a flash of orange and a sonic boom, and with that Tony took off up his driveway
(1 Minute Later – Stark Industries – Arc Reactor Building)
Naruto had just arrived and was making his way down to where Pepper and the SHIELD agents were. As he got closer, he could hear metal footsteps and shotting, deciding the hurry up he rushed down only to find Obadiah attacking the SHIELD agents, Obadiah was about to kill one of them when Naruto moved in between Obadiah and the agent, catching Obadiah's armored fist, saving the agents life. Obadiah was flabbergasted
"Sorry, can't let you kill these poor gentlemen." Naruto simply said before tossing Obadiah's fist aside
Obadiah tried again this time slamming both armored fists into Naruto, but he didn't move an inch, and Naruto once again tossed his fists aside.
Obadiah saw in the corner of his eye Pepper making a run for the door. Obadiah abandon the agent in favor of making a run for Pepper, destroying several machines along the way. Naruto saw this and speed forward grabbing Pepper and taking them both outside to the entrance of the Arc reactor building.
"Are you okay?" Naruto asked
Pepper nodded, "Just a little shaken up, aside that I am physically fine."
Just then they heard some rumbling, before they looked behind them to see the road in front of them start to break apart to reveal Obadiah in his Iron Monger suit. Obadiah soon was out of the tunnel that he created, "Where do you think your going?"
Obadiah than brought out his gun, aiming it at Pepper, Naruto put himself between Pepper and the gun, "Your services will not longer be required." he said before he began firing on Naruto, only for them to bounce off and float around Naruto.
Stane kept this up for about 30 seconds before realizing it was futile, "You're fight is not with me Stane, even if I would love to beat the ever-loving shit out of you, its not my place to do so." Naruto said
Stane recognized that voice, "And do tell, who's fight is it with me Naruto."
Naruto looked to his right, "His." all you could hear after that was 'STANE' before Tony came flying in tackling Obadiah thru the road and out the other side.
Pepper looked at Naruto, "Aren't you going to help Tony fight?" she asked
Naruto laughed, "If I did that the fight would be over in less than a second. Tony needs to do this on his own, he has personal business to settle with stane, if I feel that he is about to kill Tony I will step in and deal with stane." he explained before grabbing Pepper and flying up to the top of the Arc reactor building.
Naruto and Pepper watched the battle unfold, Obadiah had size and strength as well as the superior arc reactor over Tony. Right now if someone were to look at the fight they would say that Tony was getting the tar beaten out of him figuratively. Soon Tony realized something.
'His suit more than likely cant withstand high altitudes, lets see if my theory is correct.' Tony thought before taking to the skies, as expected he was soon followed by Obadiah.
(Air Force Control Center)
"Sir, you're not going to believe it, but they are back." an Air Force Lieutenant said watching his monitor as 2 blips just popped up
"Get me Major Allen. And scramble the Jets!" an Air Force Captain commanded
As the Lieutenant picked up the phone and began calling the Major Rhodey pushed in the button interrupting what the Lieutenant was doing.
"Not necessary, people. Just a training exercise." Rhodey announced, before nodding to the Lieutenant
the Lieutenant nodded back, "Yes, sir."
(Back with Tony)
Tony and Obadiah were climbing in altitude fast, and Obadiah's suit was already beginning to start to gather Ice, although it would take long to affect him seeing as his suit was much bigger.
"We are at 13% power, sir." JARVIS informed Tony
"CLIMB!" Tony commanded
A few seconds later, "We are now at 11% power." JARVIS announced
"Just keep it on screen and shut up!" Tony said annoyed at the constant updates
Suddenly Obadiah reached out and grabbed onto the leg of Tony's suit, bringing Tony down and wrapping giant armored hands around Tony's throat.
"You had a fantastic idea, Tony, but your suit isn't nearly as advanced as mine." Obadiah claimed out loud
"How did you solve the icing problem than? If it's so advanced." Tony asked smugly
"What do you mean Icing problem?" Obadiah asked before his suit lost power from the Ice buildup
"Might want to look into it Obie." Tony said before whacking Obadiah's helmet sending him back down towards the ground.
Tony watched as Obadiah fell back to earth, "2% power sir, I suggest that we head back down to the ground." JARVIS suggested before the power in Tony's suit began to stutter.
(Down with Naruto and Pepper)
"Sir, It seems that Tony is running extremely low on power, I would suggest that you do something." Hagoromo announced startling Pepper
"What was that?" Pepper asked curiously
Naruto laughed, "You think that Tony is the only one with enough brains to make an extremely intelligent personal A.I., that was Hagoromo, my personal A.I. that just informed me that I need to go and get Tony as he is running dangerously low on power so if you will excuse me." he said before teleporting up to Tony grabbing him and teleporting back
Tony had to steady himself as to not throw up, "The first time is always the worst." Naruto commented, "We will have to do some training with all of you to get you use to it." Naruto added
Pepper went to hug Tony, only for him to gentle push her away, "I'm almost out of power, I've got to get out of this thing." he said before he began to take off the suit, first his left glove, than his right glove, and then his helmet, only for Obadiah to land right behind him.
"Nice try Tony!" Obadiah said as he went to punch Tony only for Naruto to stop it about an inch from Tony's face
"You just never give up do you?" Naruto said, "Tony, you got any way that to take Obadiah down? Besides me?" he asked
"Yea, I could overload the reactor and blow the power thru the roof, frying Obadiah and the suit." Tony explained as he picked Pepper and flew down to the ground.
Obadiah tried to follow him but found that he couldn't move an inch. He was stuck in the position that he was in.
"What did you do to me, I can't move." Obadiah asked
"Simple, I am generating a magnetic field around me that is keeping you and your suit in place. Don't bother trying to get out, everything is stuck in place." Naruto explained, "I told you Obadiah, you were beginning to mess with things that you would never be ready to handle." Naruto added
That phrase shocked Obadiah, only one person had said that recently, Naruto Uzumaki. "How are you capable of this Naruto?" he asked
"There is a lot more to me than meets the eye." Naruto said, "Oh and before you try and upload anything from your suit know that I have cut all wireless connections between your suit and the world."
Naruto just held him there, "How long till its ready Tony?"
"Just a few more seconds." Tony replied
"Well in that case, any last words Obadiah?" Naruto asked
"Fuck you and your slut of a wife." Obadiah said with a laugh
Naruto saw red briefly, in that brief moment he punched Obadiah's helmet hard, knocking him out. "Blow it Tony." was all that Naruto said before all the power in the arc reactor shot thru the roof and into the sky, frying Obadiah who was unconsciously screaming as he and his suit were being fried from the inside out.
Soon the light show was over and Obadiah was dead, Naruto grabbed Obadiah and his suit before he flew down the ground level to meet Tony and Pepper.
"What you want me to do with Obie and the Suit Tony?" Naruto asked
"Destroy the suit and put Obadiah in his bathtub, make it look like he dropped something in the tub, and it fried him." Tony said
At that Tony and Pepper watched as Obadiah's suit floated in mid at before it was Naruto closed his hand into a fist and the suit began to implode on itself. Before long there was nothing left of the suit but a giant metal ball. Their attention was suddenly drawn to the entrance of the building where they saw Coulson and the 5 agents that he brought with him.
Tony turned to Coulson, "Can I trust that you guys will take care of the cover for Obadiah's death?" only getting a nod from Coulson before him and his men made their way to their cars, got in and drove off.
Tony then turned to Pepper, "I don't want to ever have to worry about you ever again, you mean to much to me." he said, "Marry me." he stated catching Pepper by surprise
Tony waited in suspense for her to comeback to her senses and give him and answer, her answer was to kiss him passionately before backing off, "Yes." was all that she said before Tony picked her up and spun her around, before setting her down and kissing her passionately.
"While you 2 love birds have your make out session, I'm going to go and dispose of this giant ball that use to be the suit and put Obadiah in his tub." Naruto said before he flew away.
(The next day – Press conference – Tony's preparation room)
"You've all received the official statement of what occurred at Stark Industries last night." they heard Rhodey say over the T.V.
Sakura was busy tending to Tony's bandages while he was reading the new paper with Pepper was standing right next to him looking at the ring that Naruto had created for Tony to give to Pepper as an engagement ring, it was a once size fits all kind of ring, it had the same seal in it that Tony had on his shoulder so that if she were ever in trouble all Pepper would have to do it fidget with the ring and Naruto would know. Naruto also made the ring indestructible as well as added safety seals so that Pepper would be the only one that could take it off.
"I like the name, 'Iron Man', it's kinda catchy, and it has a night ring to it. While I mean its not technically accurate, with the suit being a gold titanium alloy. But its kinda evocative the imagery and all." Tony commented before agent Coulson walked up with note cards
"Here is your alibi." Coulson said, before Tony grabbed it from him
"Okay, lets see what we got here." Tony commented
"You were on youre yacht." Coulson explained
"Yeah" was all that Tony said
"We have port papers that put you in Avalon all night, as well as sworn statements form 50 of your guests." Coulson finished
Tony looked at Pepper, "See, I was thinking maybe we should just have it be Pepper and me, alone on vacation." Tony commented
"That's what happened. Alright, that's your alibi." Coulson said, "All you have to do is read it word for word." he added
Tony looked thru the cards, "Theres nothing about Stane here."
"Me and Naruto have that being handled, he was on vacation when an enemy of Stark Industries blew up his boat, leaving no trace behind." Coulson informed Tony
Tony looked at Coulson, "But what about the whole cover story of it being a bodyguard of mine in the suit. Seems kinda flimsy to me, don't you think?"
Coulson smiled at him, "Mr. Stark this isn't my first rodeo. Just stick to the official statement and soon this will all be behind you."
Pepper looked at Coulson, "Thank you. For all of your help." she said with a smile
Coulson nodded, "You'll be hearing from us."
"From the Strategic Homeland…" Pepper said as she was about to go on with the whole organization name before Coulson stopped her.
"Just call us S.H.I.E.L.D." Coulson said before walking off
Naruto walked in, "Tony you almost up."
Tony got up at this with Pepper following him to help him get his jacket on, "Let's get this show on the road shall we."
"You know it's actually not that bad. Even I don't think I am Iron man with his alibi." Tony said
"That's because your not Iron man." Pepper said
Tony rolled his eyes, "Fine, I am not Iron man, but if I was, I would have this amazing wife who knew my true Identity. She would be a complete train wreck, because she'd constantly be worrying about whether or not I was going to make it back in one piece, but so proud of the man that I had become. She'd be wildly conflicted, which would only make her more, hot, sexy, and even more crazy about me."
Naruto walked up, "Were up." getting a nod from Tony before they walked out and made their way to the podium, Naruto on his left and Rhodey on his right.
Tony got behind the podium, "Uh, it's been a while since I was in front of you. I figured I'll just stick to the cards this time around."
This caused the crowd to laugh before Tony continued, "There's been speculations, that I have was involved in the events that occurred last night, on the freeway, and on the rooftop." before someone interrupted him
"I'm sorry, Mr. Stark, but do you honestly expect us to believe that was a bodyguard in a suit that just happened to appeared conveniently despite the fact that you…" Christine began before she was interrupted by Tony
"I know it's confusing. It is one thing to question the official story, and another thing entirely to make wild accusations or insinuate that I am in fact a superhero." Tony said causing Pepper, Sakura, Happy, and Coulson to shake their heads with their head in their hands
Tony's statement caught Christine's attention, "I never said you were a superhero."
Naruto leaned over to Tony, "Dude shut your mouth.", Tony brushed him off
Christines statement caused Tony to panic, "Well good, because that would be outlandish and fantastic." this time Rhodey leaned over, "Dude, shut the hell up and stick to the cards."
"Yeah, Okay." was all Tony said before brushing Rhodey off.
"The truth is…" Tony began before a long pause followed before he looked up at the crowd, "I am Iron Man." he finished this caused the crowd to go wild.
Now its was everybodies turn to face palm, Naruto, Rhodey, Pepper, Sakura, Happy. The only one that didn't facepalm was Coulson who just sighed before walking out.
Naruto and Rhodey pulled Tony off the stage and back into the room where Tony prepared, Naruto and Rhodey looked at Tony, "What were you thinking? Giving your identity out like that." Naruto asked
"I didn't like the alibi." was all that Tony said
Naruto dragged his hand down his face, "Do you know the can of worms that you just opened up?" he asked, "Now I am going to have to create something to keep Pepper safe in case of emergencies. Do you know how much danger you just put her in?"
"I can protect her, plus I have you." Tony said
"And what if I am busy?" Naruto asked
"I'll think of something." Tony said
"For once I agree with something that Obadiah said, Tony, NO MORE, of this Ready. Fire. Aim shit. You need to think before you do from now on." Naruto explained before shaking his head, "Lets get you and Pepper back to your place."
A/N: I think that I am starting to average out about 15-20k words a chapter now.
The route that I'm going with this story in terms of chapters is 1 movie per chapter.
