Naruto was meditating when his phone rang "Sir it is Nick Fury calling would you like me to answer it?" Hagromo asked
"Yea go ahead and answer it." Naruto answered
"I assume this call is about something of alien origin?" Naruto asked
"That's the thing we don't know if it's alien or not and want you to check it out along with a S.H.I.E.L.D. unit. It's in New Mexico sending you the details now." Fury answered before Naruto's phone buzzed and he read the coordinates
"Alright, I'll head over first thing in the morning." Naruto said before hanging up the phone as he went back to meditating
Suddenly a portal that they were familiar with opened in their living room. Naruto got up from meditating as the Ancient One stepped out of the portal.
"To what do we owe the pleasure this time around grandma." Naruto asked jokingly
"Honey, dinner is ready." Sakura announced
"Would you like to have dinner with us? My wife made Udon noodles with fresh beef from the store." Naruto asked
"I would love to. Thank you." The ancient one answered before walking toward the kitchen as she got closer to Naruto her necklace started to slightly gravitate toward Naruto
"What's up with your necklace?" Naruto asked "What is that thing anyway? And what is that I sense in it?"
"This is a relic called The eye of Agamoto and it holds an Infinity stone called the Time Stone it's what I use to view the events that need to happen so catastrophic events do not happen as a result of the timeline going off course." She answered catching Naruto's attention
"What's an infinity stone?" Naruto asked perplexed 'Just by the name is seems powerful'
"At the dawn of the universe, there was nothing. Then... boom. The Big Bang sent six elemental crystals hurtling across the virgin universe. These Infinity Stones each control an essential aspect of existence. Space, Reality, Power, Soul, Mind, and Time. The one that is held here in the Eye of Agamotto is the Time stone and it seems to like you over me." She explained
"And what would happen if all these stones were united?" Naruto asked
"I do not know." She simply stated
"So why would it want me?" Naruto asked
"It could see you as a more fit guardian than me, it is sentient. You do have the benefit of being outside the realm of death unlike me." She answered
"Would you be willing to part with it? Cause it seems to want to be with me?" Naruto asked
"At this point in time no, maybe at another point in time." She answered before they took seats at the table as Sakura served them up
"Itadakimasu" They all called out before digging in
"So what was the reason you came over here?" Naruto asked "I doubt this is meant to be a social visit." He joked
"Do not move the hammer leave it be." The Ancient One spoke "Let its owner/wielder whichever you prefer come for it."
The Ancient One quickly finished her noodles and beef before she took her leave
Sakura turned to Naruto "Looks like you will not only be the guardian of the Biju but also some 'Infinity Stones'"
"I just can't catch a break can I?" Naruto commented causing his wife to chuckle before they cleaned up and headed to bed
(The next morning)
Naruto had woken up and told Sakura that Fury wanted him to check something out and probably wouldn't be gone too long before he called Tony
"Hey, Naruto, what's up?" Tony asked
"Heading over to New Mexico to check something of possible alien origin out. Shouldn't be gone to long and you know how to contact me if you need me." Naruto answered
"Alright don't cause to much trouble." Tony said before hanging up the phone and with that Naruto set off towards the coordinates that Fury gave him.
(Crate site a few hours later)
Naruto decided to take it slow on his way over there and give the S.H.I.E.L.D. unit time to get there. When he arrived there was already a camp set up around the crater. Naruto sped down to the crater where he was greeted by Coulson.
"Glad to see you could make it." Coulson greeted him
"So, what are we looking at?" Naruto asked
"See for yourself, no one here can seem to lift it or even make it budge." Coulson answered before he started towards the hammer
They walk thru a few hallways and corridors before they reach the hammer. Naruto walks up to the hammer and grabs it before tugging on it lifting it with ease. Naruto noted the weight of it felt like a feather before putting it down. Naruto then took off one of his gloves to try something before grasping the handle bringing him to a black void that he was semi-familiar with where he was accompanied by 2 men, 1 younger looking man with blond hair and what looked like armor, and one much older looking man holding standing in front of the younger man.
"You are unworthy of these realms!" The older man spoke as he ripped off parts of the younger man's armor "You're unworthy of your title!" The older man continued as he ripped off the younger man's cape "You're unworthy of the loved ones you have betrayed." Before the older man walked up small steps to a scepter that had what seemed like lightning spewing out of it in arcs hitting the walls and roof of the spherical building, they were in.
Suddenly the younger man's hammer that he was holding flew from his hand into the older man's hand
"I take from you your power. In the name of my father." The older man spoke with authority as one sleeve of the younger man's armor seemed to fall off "And his father before" as the other side followed suit "I, Odin Allfather cast you out!" as the older man fired a bolt of energy from the hammer hitting the younger man sending him flying into some beam of white light.
The older man then brought the hammer up to his mouth "Whosoever holds this hammer if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor." As the older man did this Naruto could sense energy being directed from the older man into the hammer before a weird symbol appeared on the hammer as the older man tossed it into the same light that the younger man was thrust into.
It then cut to the younger man lying on the ground not moving with some sort of armor standing not to far away, suddenly the hammer he was holding flew thru the air and into the younger man's hand restoring his health and armor.
After that Naruto returned to the real world before he turned to Coulson "This thing is definitely not of Earth, not sure where it is from. All you can really do now is monitor it as I am not moving it."
Coulson nodded before he walked away as Naruto decided to set up camp near the hammer and meditate, several hours later Naruto sensed a signature that couldn't under any possibility be human enter the compound.
'What is this energy it's like natural energy but not.' Naruto thought
"Coulson pull your men back someone has arrived." Naruto instructed and Coulson followed
Soon the young man from the void entered the room "Get away from the hammer boy."
Naruto looked him in the eye "I have no intention of taking it, I was just waiting for you. And watch who you call boy, cause you certainly act like one. And before you think about attacking me out of anger just know I could body you even in your weakened form. I had the men pulled out of the compound so you could make your way here."
And with that Naruto stood up and motioned for the young man to attempt to lift the hammer "Take it big boy." Before he backed up allowing the young man room
The young man walked up to the hammer and gave it a couple of tugs with all his might but the hammer would not budge. He seemed dismayed, realizing that any more attempts would be futile he collapsed to his knees before he looked up to the skies as if looking from something or someone before he screamed into the heavens.
"Alright, Coulson you can send someone to collect him now." Naruto spoke getting the young man's attention before he charged at Naruto
The young man got about 2 feet before he froze in place with Naruto's hand being extended "I do not want to hurt you boy, do not test my patience."
Soon a squad of men showed up and bound the young man after Naruto dropped him and he watched as they took him away to a room as Naruto followed. After putting the young man in the room Naruto took up a place nearby the room in case the man tried to escape and began meditating as Coulson went in to talk to the man.
A couple of minutes later Coulson's pager went off pulling him away from the cell.
Coulson exited the cell and turned to Naruto "I have something to take care of make sure he doesn't leave."
Naruto only nodded as he continued meditating when he feels an energy signature similar to the blond man's enter the compound. Naruto waited for the person to show themselves or do something, but no commotion was caused. Suddenly Naruto felt a small surge of energy that was new to him and a man in a green suit appeared inside the room with the young man.
Naruto got up from meditating and entered the room getting both of their attention "Who the hell are you and how did you just suddenly get in here?"
"Wait you can see him?" The young man asked astonished
"Yea why wouldn't I be? My question is how did he just suddenly appear in here when no doors opened?" Naruto answered
"I don't know how you can see me, but I am a projection of magic which you wouldn't know. Now can you please leave so I can talk to my brother? It's a family matter." The other man asked
Naruto nods "As for how I can see you simple Illusions can not fool me." and with that Naruto left the room heading for the other signature that he felt enter the compound.
Naruto enters the area that the hammer is in only to see the man in the green suit trying to lift it. "You won't be able to lift it I already know who the owner is I just don't know why he is not worthy right now."
This startled the man causing him to look around before he spots Naruto. 'How can this feeble human see me when I am shrouded from the naked eye, who do they know that Thor is the owner of this hammer, and about the enchantment on it?'
"To answer your questions I have my ways and I have telepathy which allows me to talk to you like this. Now why are you trying to lift the hammer?" Naruto answered
'It is none of your business.' The man said before walking away
Naruto just shrugged his shoulders before going back to meditating.
(A few hours later)
Coulson started towards the room that the now-named Thor was in "He has a visitor." was all that he said before turning around and walking away, Naruto decided to see what was up and followed.
They arrived to find a single man waiting for Thor "I'm here for my friend Donald Blake."
"His name is Donald Blake?" Coulson asked skeptically
"Dr. Donald Blake" The man corrected himself
"You have dangerous coworkers, Dr. Selvig." Coulson stated
"He was distraught to learn that you had taken all our research. That's years of his life, gone! You can understand how a man could go off like. A big, faceless organization like yours coming in with their jackbooted thugs and…" Selvig explained before Coulson gave him a look daring him to continue that sentence "That's how he put it."
"That still doesn't explain how he managed to tear through our security." Coulson stated silently asking Selvig for an answer
"Steroids! He's a bit of a fitness nut." Selvig stated before an alarm went off causing Coulson to turn his to the computer showing that the ID that Selvig had given them was fake
Coulson looked to Naruto asking him what to do, Naruto only nodded his head silently telling him to let Thor go
"It says here that he is an M.D." Coulson stated
"Well, he is! Or rather was. He switched careers and became a physicist. A brilliant physicist. He's a wonderful man. He's a man in pain." Selvig explained/pleaded
"Fine, you can have him." Coulson said before he let Selvig pass
Soon Selvig came out with Thor and started walking away as they watched Thor snatch something
"Do we just let him take that?" Coulson asked
"Yeah, it won't do anyone any harm." Naruto answered
"Dr. Selvig!" Coulson called out causing them to pause "Just keep him away from the bars."
"I will." Selvig said back before they continued
"I want a Unit to follow them." Coulson ordered over the radio
(The next day)
Naruto was meditating near the hammer when he felt/sensed a surge of the same energy as last time when he was helping Tony.
"We picked up another surge of energy shall we go and check it out?" Coulson asked as he walked in
"No let me handle it." Naruto answered before he took off thru the air
(A few minutes later – Source of the energy surge)
Naruto arrived at the location where he sensed the energy surge and looked around and saw a group of people that couldn't possibly be human walking towards a town. Naruto took off flying towards them before landing in front of them.
"Are you here for Thor?" Naruto asked
"Who are you and how do you know that name?" one of them asked
"Who I am does not matter. As for how I know that name someone was at the crash site of his hammer last night. I read their mind and found out who Thor was. Do you want a lift to the town?" Naruto explained before one of them nodded
Naruto landed before he got in the middle of them "Grab and hold on." they did as instructed and Naruto started running towards the town
A few seconds later they arrive on the outskirts of the town and walk in "I will lead you to him." Before Naruto starts off towards where Thor's signature is as the group follows him
Soon they reach the building that Thor is in and the biggest of the group knocks on the door getting their attention.
A few seconds later they open the door
"My Friends!" Thor calls out before going to hug the biggest of the group
"I don't believe it." Selvig commented
"Oh excuse me. Lady Sif and the Warrior three." The biggest one introduces before turning to Naruto "And our generous acquaintance."
"Hey you were at the crash site and told Coulson to let us go." Selvig commented
"That I did. Be grateful as they knew the ID was fake." Naruto stated
"My friends, I've never been happier to see anybody. But you should not have come." Thor said causing Sif and the Warrior three to adopt confused looks
"We're here to take you home." One of them said
"You know I can't go home. My father is dead because of me. And I must remain in exile." Thor explained
"Thor, your father still lives." Sif stated causing Thor to adopt a confused look before he finally realized that his brother had lied to him
Just then Naruto started to sense a buildup of the same energy once again and looked towards where he felt it only to see clouds beginning to collect. "I think we have company." causing everyone to look outside
"Was someone else coming?" A young woman asked
Naruto then focused on where the clouds touched down and saw the same armor from his vision
"Do you guys by any chance have a giant suit of armor back where you guys are from?" Naruto asked
"Yea we call it the destroyers. Why?" Thor answered
"I think your brother sent you a little gift, only thing is this gift isn't so friendly." Naruto stated
"Jane, you have to leave." Thor stated
"What are you going to do?" the now called Jane asked
"I'm going to stay here." Thor answered
"Thor's going to fight with us!" The biggest of the group exclaimed
"My friends, I'm a just a man. I'll only be in the way, or worse, get one of you killed. But what I can do is help get these people to safety." Thor explained
"Well, if you're staying then so am I." Jane demanded
"You guys focus on fighting I will run damage control if we can't get everyone out of town in time." Naruto states before everyone breaks off to evacuate the town
A few minutes later the Destroyers walks into town and starts firing at buildings. Naruto watched as Sif and the Warrior three fought the destroyer. The Destroyer knocks the biggest of the group away and into a car before walking up to him and prepares to fire before Sif jumps off a roof and impales the Destroyer right thru its throat causing it to power down. Seconds later if powers back up causing Sif to jump off unless she wanted to get blasted. Sif jumped off and lands stomach first on the ground before the biggest of the group gets up and runs followed by Sif. Naruto sees that the Destroyer is going to hit Sif and puts himself between Sif and the Destroyer as it fires causing Sif to look back as Naruto simply absorbs the energy. He then erects a telekinetic barrier to block the one meant for the warrior 3.
"Go. Now. Run!" Thor commanded Jane and her friends "Sif, Volstagg, Hogun, and Fandral you guys need to leave as well its me that Loki wants. This is my fault; I have a plan."
"Why we have our acquaintance here protecting us?" the now named Volstagg asked
"Those were courtesy saves I am not here to save your ass all day. Do as he says and leave, I will cover you guys." Naruto states before he ushers Jane, Selvig, the young woman, Sif, and the warrior 3 away from the fight.
As they make their way back to the building they were originally in Thor begins to walk out towards the Destroyer.
"Wait." Jane says before they all turn around to see Thor walking towards the Destroyer as it walked towards them "What's he doing?"
"Brother, whatever I have done to wrong you, whatever I have done that has lead you to do this, I am truly sorry. But these people are innocent, do them no harm. Taking their lives will gain you nothing. So take mine, end this and leave them be." Thor said and by the time he had finished he was right in front of the Destroyer who had opened his face and charged up only for it to power down and close its face up before it turned around for a second and began to walk away only for it to turn around and backhand Thor sending him flying and tumbling once he hit the ground.
Jane attempted to run to him but was held back by Naruto. 'Just as it should happen now the hammer should be on its way.'
"It's over. They are safe. It's over" Thor whispered before he took one more breathe as the Destroyer turned around and started back towards where it first arrived on Earth
Suddenly Naruto felt a surge of energy in the direction of the hammer, everyone watched as the hammer broke the sound barrier with a sonic boom as it headed towards them. A few seconds later and Thor's arm jumped up just as the hammer reached his hands as a storm cloud formed above them and a bolt of lightning struck Thor reviving him causing the Destroyer to turn around. Everyone watched as Thor's armor formed around him and Naruto summoned his Nanotech sword from the seal on his arm.
Just as the Destroyer fired a beam at Thor he threw his hammer hitting it in the face redirecting the beam.
"Alright shows over." Naruto stated before he gripped his sword handle and everyone watched as nanites flowed out of the handle forming a broadsword without the guard. The blade was grey while the inner part was blue and the handle was golden with red threads flowing all the way down the handle in a weaved pattern.
Naruto disappeared for a split second before reappearing, everyone looked around to see what happened when suddenly the head of the Destroyer fell off.
Everyone looked at him in shock "You are telling me you could have done that this entire time but you chose now to take care of it?"
"I had to wait until Thor got his hammer back." Naruto simply stated
Just then Coulson and his men drove up in their car "Excuse me." As Coulson got out of the car and walked up to Thor "Donald? I don't think you have been completely honest with me."
"Know this, Son of Coul. You and I, we fight for the same cause, the protection of this world. From this day forward, you can count me as your ally if you return the items you have taken from Jane." Thor explained
"Stolen." Jane butted in
"Borrowed." Coulson shot back before he looked to Naruto who only nodded his head "Of course, you can have your equipment back. You're going to need it to continue your research."
Thor then turned to Jane "Would you like to see the bridge we spoke of?"
Jane looked around at everyone before back at Thor "Sure."
Thor looked to Naruto "Would you like to come as well, Sir?"
"Yes, I would like to learn more about this 'bridge'." Naruto answered
"Grab my friends and follow me." Thor instructs
Naruto nods before Thor takes off, Naruto gets in the middle of Sif, and the warrior 3 as they grab onto him and Naruto takes off running easily keeping up with Thor.
Naruto, Thor, Jane, and the warrior 3 arrive at the initial site that Thor first arrived on earth
"Heimdall, open the bifrost." Thor commanded "Heimdall?" when nothing happened "Heimdall!"
A few seconds later no responds
"He doesn't answer." Thor stated
"Then we are stranded." Hogun stated
Naruto feels the energy left over from the Bifrost and focuses, when suddenly he can see what looks like a tear in space in the middle of the markings. Naruto extends his hand towards the tear and pretends to spread it with hand. Suddenly a 'portal' opens up in the middle of the markings.
"How are you harnessing dimensional energy like that?" Thor asks
"Son this is my first time doing this all I did was spread open a tear that I saw." Naruto answered "Are you going to go thru or do I have to?"
"I do not know where that leads." Thor stated
"Fine, wimp." Naruto said before jumping into the portal
(Unknown Location)
Naruto exited his newly opened into the same spherical room that he remembered from his vision, he saw 2 giant blue figures outside that had turned around at the sound of his portal opening as well as what looked to be like a frozen man. The 2 giant figures charged him but were sent flying with a wordless Almighty Push. Naruto saw the man was struggling to break out of the ice and simply melted it with his Heat Vision.
The man leaned on his sword "How did you get here I didn't open the bifrost?"
"According to Thor I manipulated Dimensional energy I simply opened the portal on my end myself I guess." Naruto explained
'I'll have to inquire more information at a later time from this young fellow' the man thought before he made his way back into the spherical room and dropped his sword in the middle as lightning sparked off of it all around.
A few seconds later the same white light he saw from his vision shot out into space and a couple seconds later Thor, Sif, and the warrior 3 appeared
"Well I'll be you actually opened the portal from the end." Thor said astonished "Get him to the healing room! I will deal with my brother." as we walked up to Naruto "Will you lend me a hand?"
Naruto shook his head "Sorry but my domain is Earth. But I will be back to learn more about this dimensional energy you speak of if I do not sense your return within a week I will come back myself for answers. Good Luck though." and with that Naruto teleported in a flash of yellow.
(Earth – Naruto and Sakura's Home)
Naruto appeared back in his house in a flash of yellow and was greeted by his wife
"Good to see you are back. You want me to make you lunch?" Sakura asked
Naruto nodded and Sakura began making lunch "So what did it turn out to be?"
"A hammer of alien origin." Naruto stated
"Well I'm just glad it didn't take a week." Sakura commented
(A week later)
Naruto did as he said and waited a week, after not sensing anything he decided it was time to go there himself.
Naruto flew back to the initial site, reopened the portal, and jumped in.
(Rainbow Bridge – Unknown Location)
Naruto stepped out of the portal to find that the spherical room that was once there was no longer there. He was literally just floating above flowing water. Naruto saw that only a small portion of the bridge looked to be broken off, Thor, the old man from his visions, and the man he saved seemed to be waiting for him at the end of the bridge. Naruto flew up to them and landed on the bridge behind them.
"Thor what the hell happened to the 'bifrost' I have been waiting a week?" Naruto asked curious as to the reason
"I had to break it off to prevent my brother from destroying a whole planet with it." Thor answered "This is my father Odin Borson and the one you saved Heimdall."
"Pleased to meet you all." Naruto said as he shook their hands
"I hear that you can manipulate dimensional energy." Odin stated
"I only discovered a week ago when I opened the end portal back to here." Naruto commented
"Let us go back to my palace and talk some more." Odin suggested
Naruto nodded before Thor, Odin, and Heimdall started toward the palace with Naruto flying behind them
(Odin's Palace – Unknown Location)
They soon arrived at Odin's palace with Odin taking up his seat at his throne.
"So how exactly can you do what you can do. No normal human, boosted or not can do such a thing?" Odin asked
"And how are you shrouded from my gaze? I could not see you on earth at all." Heimdall asked
"Well I am not exactly a normal human, I am more of a Multiversal being with the ability to open portals with my Rinne-Sharingan capable of breaking thru the boundaries that separate each Multiverse/Dimension/Universe, I only recently arrived with my wife in his Multiverse/Universe about a decade or so ago looking for a quiet place to settle down and have a family. But trouble always seems to worm its way into my life no matter where I go." Naruto explained chuckling at the end
"May we see this 'Rinne-Sharingan'?" Odin asked
Naruto turned on his Rinne-Sharingan to show them
"Interesting. And my son tells me that you are immune to Magic." Odin stated
"Is that what your other son used to try and shroud himself when he went to try and lift Thor's hammer? I was wondering what I was sensing." Naruto asked "You see I have the ability to sense any type of energy minus kinetic and absorb it."
"Anyways I came back to learn more about what powers the 'Bifrost'. Could you please explain that to me?" Naruto asked
"At one-point ages ago we came into possession of the tesseract and we learned how to harness its power without it to harness the node that Asgard sits on within the 'world tree' which is basically a cosmic ley line." Odin explained
"And what was the power source of this 'tesseract'? Seems pretty powerful to be able to send anyone across space in a matter of seconds." Naruto asked
"It holds the space stone. Do you know what that is?" Odin asked
"I just recently learned what the Infinity stones were and their origin, so yes." Naruto answered "Would it be possible to teach me how to harness dimensional energy? I have this ability and I want to be at my peak when it comes to it."
"I can tell you how I operate the bifrost and you can go from there." Heimdall answered getting a nod from Naruto "I can see everything all I do is picture where I want the the bifrost to go and insert my sword as you saw before and it aims and fires the portal."
"So just picture where I want to go and do what I did to open the portal the first time?" Naruto asked for clarification getting a nod from Heimdall
Naruto then focused on his living room before he extended his fist and opened it as a portal appeared "Thanks for the advice. I'll be going now." as he stepped towards his newly opened portal before he stopped and turned towards them "Also what I know you guys don't have chakra but I can sense something far less unfiltered then nature energy what is it?"
"That would be cosmic energy. This natural energy you speak of must be the result of cosmic energy filtered thru the surroundings of a planet. Cosmic energy is completely raw energy that is all around us where it has not been filtered yet. Magic would be cosmic energy combined with the mind to make illusions and other things." Odin explained
"Wait could you give me a ride back to earth to see Jane?" Thor asked causing Naruto to pause
"I can get you there but I do not want to have to find you again so you will have to find your own way back. You will also need a change of clothes so you don't attract unwanted attention." Naruto answered before he stepped threw the portal followed shortly by Thor
(Naruto and Sakura's home - Living room)
Sakura was making lunch when a not so familiar portal opened up in their living room and out stepped her husband and a blond dressed strangely.
"New power/ability?" Sakura asked her husband "Whos the blonde?"
"Seems so." Naruto answered simply "This is Thor Odinson the owner of the Hammer that I had to check out. He wanted a ride to earth because his normal ride got destroyed. Anyways he needs a change of cloths so he doesnt draw attention so I thought I would let him borrow some of mine."
"That will not be necessary my friend." Thor said before he used magic to change his clothes and his hammers appearance into an umbrella
"Well, that solves that now get out of here. I want lunch." Naruto said as he ushered Thor out the front door
