From now on when Naruto opens a portal it will be using Cisco Ramon's powers.

"Sir, Nick Fury is calling, do you want me to answer?" Hagoromo spoke up
"Yea let him thru." Naruto answered before bringing his phone up to his ear "What do you need Fury?"
"I have a situation I would like your input and help with, can you come in?" Fury asked
"Yea I'll be right there." Naruto answered "Are you alone?"
"No, I am with company." Fury answered "Why does that matter?"
"Determines whether or not I need to come suited up for not." Naruto answered "Just give me the coordinates." and with that Naruto hung the phone up. A minute later Naruto got a text from Fury with his coordinates
Naruto sat up from his meditation before suiting up and opened a portal and stepped thru
(Unknown Location)
Naruto stepped out of his portal only to be greeted by guns pointing at him
"Well, this isn't the kind of welcome I was expecting." Naruto stated humorously
"What the hell was that?" Fury asked
"New ability/power, I can open portals to anywhere I have been or have something guiding me like coordinates, etc." Naruto answered before he noticed the elephant in the room in the form of a frozen man with much larger chakra coils then any normal human should have
Naruto turned to Fury "Who is this man?"
"That man frozen in ice is Steve Rogers aka Captain America. We recently found him in the arctic circle. I was wondering if you could lend some advice or a hand in how to resurrect him, he is currently in a coma." Fury stated
"He was lucky to be injected with the Super Soldier Serum otherwise he wouldn't have survived. Whatever they did to him permanently and forcefully expanded his chakra coils, he must have fire nature chakra for his body to have been keeping him alive in the freezing cold minus the ice." Naruto explained "I can dethaw him but afterward you should probably get him onto a bed." Before he walked up and began using his Heat Vision to melt the ice while Fury got a room set up for Steve Rogers
When Fury came back, they began transferring Steve to a bed as Fury and Naruto watched over Steve
"So, what do you mean Steve has more 'chakra' than he should?" Fury asked
"I don't know what was in that serum, but it forcefully and permanently expanded his chakra coils enabling him to hold a lot more chakra than a normal human. Steve has the chakra capacity of around 50 normal people or 25 bodybuilders. I have seen the feats he is capable of and that is the only explanation given what I can sense from him." Naruto explained before he walked up to Steve, took one of his gloves off, and placed his hand on Steve's head using Human Path to bring his consciousness forward
Naruto then stepped away and waited for Steve to wake up
"What did you do?" Fury asked
"I just pulled his consciousness forward so he would wake up faster." Naruto answered before they heard shuffling coming from the bed
Steve jumped out of bed "Who are you and where am I?"
"Relax boy scout we found you frozen on ice and resurrected you. As for who we are, my name is Naruto Uzumaki, and my lovely companion here is Nick Fury." Naruto answered "What do you remember Steve?"
"I remember asking Peggy for a raincheck on a dance she wanted over the radio before I drove the rogue bomber into the artic." Steve answered
"Cap you have been asleep for almost 70 years. We won the war though." Fury informed Cap causing him to sit on the bed
"Is Peggy still alive?" Steve asked
"Yea but she is old and has Alzheimer's." Fury answers
"Well, there goes the dance I owed her." Steve comments catching Naruto's attention
"Fury leave the room please, I have something to discuss with Steve." Naruto instructed getting a look from Fury that said 'And who are you to give me orders' "Fury, just leave please."
Fury looked at him and then at Steve before sighing seeing there was nothing he could do and left the room. Naruto then turned to Steve.
"What if I told you I could give Peggy back her youth so you guys could have your dance and live the life you would have if you didn't get stuck in the ice for 70 years?" Naruto asked
"I would be skeptical. What proof do you have to back your claims." Steve answered
"None right now but if you want to take me up on the offer bring Peggy to this address." Naruto said before handing Steve a piece of paper "I would hate to see you waste an opportunity like this to spend the rest of your life with Peggy just because you didn't believe me, but you do you." with that Naruto opened a portal back home "Fury you can come back in now!" and with that Naruto stepped thru the portal as it closed behind him
(A week later - Naruto and Sakura's home)
Naruto was helping Sakura in the kitchen as they prepared Ramen for lunch when there was suddenly a knock at the door.
"I'll get it." Naruto said leaving his station next to his wife to answer the door
Naruto opened the door to reveal Steve and a much older-looking woman in a wheelchair.
"Ahh you must be Peggy Carter; I see you are here to take me up on the offer I gave you Steve." Naruto said
"I'm still very skeptical but I talked to Peggy, and she is willing to take the risk." Steve said back
"Well, where are my manners please come in we were just making lunch." Naruto said as he moved aside as Steve wheeled Peggy into the house as Naruto closed the door behind them
"So, Peggy are you ready to be young again?" Naruto asked
"I'm still very skeptical but yes. So how is this going to work? Are you going to put me in a pit of mysterious chemicals?" Peggy asked
"Not at all what I am going to do is essentially rejuvenate your cells back to their prime using my chakra." Naruto explained before he placed his hand on Peggy's chest "However by doing so I will also be introducing my chakra into your pathways forcing them to expand permanently so that you age at the same rate as Steve would. This is your last time to back out as once I do this there will be no going back." Peggy nodded her head
"Outer Path: Savior of Youth" Naruto called out and Steve watched in awe and shock as Peggy's body de-aged right in front of him, her hair returned to his luscious brown, her wrinkles disappeared, and her lips returned to their vibrant red.
"How do you feel Peggy?" Naruto asked
Peggy grabbed the arms of the wheelchair she was brought in on and stood up shaky at first but got her balance back. She turned around and kissed Steve on the mouth "Absolutely fantastic like I'm a new person. I feel like I could lift a car." as she effortlessly lifted the wheelchair over her head
Steve turned to Naruto gobsmacked at what he just witnessed "Thank you so much." as he stuck his hand out for Naruto to shake, Naruto shook it.
Peggy turned to Naruto "What do I tell people if they ask how I'm young again?"
"A miracle is what happened here I would say." Naruto said with a grin "But you could also say experimental surgery." to which Peggy nodded
"Oh Steve, out in public referee to me as Maelstrom if I am suited up." Naruto informed
"Come on Steve we have a life to live." Peggy said as she grabbed Steve's arm and pulled him out the front door.
(6 and a half months later – Naruto and Sakura's house)
Naruto, a ready-to-birth Sakura and another 2 Sakura's could be found in one of the lower levels of their house as Sakura was about ready to give birth to twins. She had been in labor for around 16 hours and was finally ready to push the first baby out. Naruto was right by her side
"You go this Sakura. I love you." Naruto said reassuring his wife
"I know I do but I feel like my vagina is about to rip in half." Sakura said as she pushed "If you ever do this to me again I will make your penis permanently useless regardless of your healing factor."
Naruto gave her an apologetic look as his sweat dropped at the threat "I hear you honey. I love you."
"Just a little bit further and the first one will be out." The clone Sakura said from below the sheets that were hiding Sakura's vagina from the world
"AAUUUUGGGGGGHHHH." Sakura let out as she pushed as hard as she could
"WAAAAA WAAAAAA." came the cries of a baby boy with hair just a shade or two darker than Sakura's
"It's a healthy baby girl." The clone said as it handed the baby off to the other clone that took the baby to a station to clean it up while the original Sakura continued.
An excruciating 8 hours later Sakura was ready for the second baby
"I can see the head push." the clone said
"AAUUUUGGGGGGHHHH." Sakura let out as she pushed as hard as she could once again
"WAAAAA WAAAAAA." came the cries of a baby girl with blond hair
The clone immediately handed the baby to its other clone which began cleaning the baby up before wrapping it up in a blanket like it did the other baby.
"It's finally over honey you can rest." Naruto said
"No shit it's over that was hell on earth to go thru." Sakura said wiping the sweat off her forehead
Giving Sakura a few minutes of rest the clones brought the babies over giving their original the boy and Naruto the girl before they dispelled.
Naruto finally got a look at his daughter, and he was overwhelmed with a sense of pure accomplishment, pride, and satisfaction.
"Hello Rose, I am your daddy." Naruto said in a tender voice as he gently held his baby girl before he tilted her towards Sakura "and that is your mommy, and your brother Scampi."
"We did this honey. We finally have a family to call our own." Naruto spoke up with tears in his eyes, feeling on top of the world
"Yes, yes, we do. Now bring them here I need to feed them." Sakura said before Naruto gently passed Rose to her mother
"I'll leave you alone so you can rest and I'll lock the door." Naruto said before he walked out and locked the door before he opened a portal to Tony's mansion and stepped thru.
(Living room – Tony's mansion)
Naruto stepped out of his portal to find no one there "Anyone home?"
"Hey Naruto, you looking for Tony?" A very pregnant Pepper asked as she walked out of the kitchen with a spatula in hand
"Yeah, I decided to drop by Sakura just finished giving birth to Scampi and Rose and she needed to feed them so I thought I would drop by and see how you and Tony are doing. You look like you are ready to pop at any moment." Naruto answered
"Yeah, the doctor said that I am due any time in the next 2 weeks." Pepper commented "Anyways Tony should be down in his workshop improving his suit or designing a new one."
"Thanks" Naruto said before heading down to Tony's workshop
(Tony's mansion – Tony's workshop)
Naruto mentally logged in and opened the door getting Tony's attention
"What's up buddy, I thought Sakura was giving birth." Tony said without walking away from his holo table
"Sakura needed rest after being in labor for almost 32 hours, plus she needed to feed the babies." Naruto explained
"So how does it feel being a father now?" Tony asked genuinely curious as he would soon be a father as well
"You get an overwhelming sense of pride and accomplishment for helping bring another human being into the world and becoming a father, and satisfaction that you now have a family to call your own." Naruto explained "She will probably be on Maternity leave for the foreseeable future. Not like we need the money." He added
"Well, congrats." Tony said
"Well, I have time to kill so I thought I would spend it with you while Sakura and the kids rest." Naruto said before he took up a spot not to far from Tony and began meditating
(2 weeks later)
Finally, the time had come for Pepper to give birth, Sakura was unavailable, so Tony had to get a private room in the hospital to deliver baby Morgan. Pepper had been in labor for around 22 hours and Morgan was finally ready to be born.
"Tony if you ever do this to me again, I will make your penis unusable." Pepper told her husband that was right next to her while she crushed his hand in the process
"Honey, I know you are in a lot of pain, but do you really want our first child to be an only child?" Tony tried to reason with his wife
"Alright Pepper I can see the head I'm going to need you to push as hard as you can one more time." The doctor spoke from under the cover hiding Pepper's Vagina from the rest of the world
"AAUUUUGGGGGGHHHH." Pepper screamed out as she pushed as hard as she could
"WAAAAA WAAAAAA." came the cries of Baby Morgan
"It's a healthy baby girl." The nurse announced before she handed the baby Morgan off to another nurse to get cleaned up
A few seconds later the nurse came back with Morgan wrapped in a blanket "Who would like to hold the baby first?"
Tony held out his hands to receive the baby Morgan and the nurse handed him the baby.
Tony looked at baby Morgan and just like Naruto described he felt an overwhelming sense of Pride, Satisfaction, and Accomplishment.
"Hello Morgan, I'm your father." Tony said before he tilted Morgan, so she was facing Pepper "And that is your mother."
"Honey, can I hold my baby?" Pepper asked extending her arms to receive Morgan
"Absolutely." Tony said before he handed Morgan to Pepper "Naruto you can come in."
A few seconds later Naruto opened the door and walked in "Was it how I described?"
"That and so much more." Tony answered
"Would you like to hold your goddaughter?" Pepper asked Naruto as she extended Morgan towards Naruto
"Sure, I would love to." Naruto answered before he took Morgan from Pepper
"Hello little Morgan, I am your godfather, and I will not let anything happen to you." Naruto proclaimed
Tony and Pepper smiled knowing that nothing in the world would ever happen to their daughter so long as Naruto has a say in it.
Just then Morgan began to cry "Well I think that means she is hungry."
Naruto handed Morgan back to Pepper "I will take my leave and return to my post at the door." as he turned around to exit the room when suddenly the door opened to reveal a man with a pistol, he immediately took aim at the baby Morgan and fired causing Pepper to scream.
Naruto immediately entered combat mode and plucked the bullet out of the air before tackling the man to the floor. Naruto restrained the man and flipped him over, before Naruto could take his glove off to read the man's mind, he began foaming at the mouth.
"Hail Hydra!" the man said before he collapsed dead
Naruto looked up at the petrified Tony, Pepper as well as the nurses currently in the room "Is everyone alright?"
"Yeah, thanks to you. Remind me to give you a raise for saving Morgan's life." Tony answered as he got up from his position of shielding his wife and newborn daughter
"What and who the hell is Hydra?" Tony asked
"They were the organization that S.H.I.E.L.D. fought against in WWII that were hell-bent on world domination. Captain America was thought to have defeated them back then. Didn't know they were still operational, but if they are then you guys as well as Morgan are in their crosshairs. I'm going to need to start watching over you guys 24/7 from now on." Naruto explained
"But you have kids of your own now, and I am sure you are going to want to spend time with them as well." Pepper commented
"We both know that I have ways of handling these kinds of problems, Pepper." Naruto said with a grin
"I will have a clone watching over you guys 24/7" Naruto mentally told them
"You are still getting a raise." Tony and Pepper said leaving no room for argument
(A week later – Tony's workshop)
A week had passed, and everything was back to running as it was before minus the new additions to both families. Naruto was in Tony's workshop watching Tony continue his adventure of improving his suit when suddenly a portal opened in Tony's workshop getting the attention of both of them. Tony looked at Naruto to see that he was relaxed and not worried at all.
"Are you going to do anything?" Tony asked
"There is nothing to do as I know the person behind it has no hostile intentions." Naruto answered before the ancient one stepped thru the portal
"Greets, Naruto, and Tony Stark, congrats on the new additions to your families please pass my congratulations on to your spouses. Anyways Naruto I have news of future events that must come to pass." The ancient one announced before Tony looked at Naruto
"This is the person that has been giving you 'Outside Instructions'?" Tony asked
"Yea." Naruto answered simply
"Alright." Tony said before he went back to what he was doing
Naruto turned to the Ancient One "Is there any way that we can skip these visits? Not that I dislike your presence but I'm sure you have better things to be doing besides being a messenger."
"Well unless you have a way to look into the future, I'm afraid there is no way around these visits." The Ancient One answered
"I actually recently found out that I have the ability to both manipulate and sense dimensional energy as well as see glimpses of the future?" Naruto stated shocking both Tony and the Ancient One
"How long have you had these abilities?" The Ancient one asked
"Well, the sense and manipulate dimensional energy I learned about nearly 7 months ago. The glimpses of the future have been happening anytime I make skin contact with something but is not really consistent and that doesn't happen much anymore now that I wear these indestructible gloves." Naruto answered
"Why the gloves?" The Ancient One asked
"I have the ability to copy anyone's power or abilities that I come into physical contact skin to skin contact with." Naruto answered
"Have you tried meditating? That's what I do when I use the time stone to view potential future events." The Ancient One asked
"No, no I haven't, well at least not while focusing on dimensional energy or focusing on viewing the future I mostly use it to stay in tune with Nature or to kill time. I can try though." Naruto answered before he sat on the floor and began meditating while channeling dimensional energy
About 30 minutes later Naruto appears in a black void he is all too familiar with. Naruto gets up and looks around to see a machine with the tesseract hooked in with a blue beam shooting out of it into the sky opening a portal. Naruto looks around for anything else and sees Dr. Selvig standing near the machine. Just as Naruto is about to look for anything else he is yanked out of his vision back to the real world.
"Does your future event have anything to do with a portal in the sky of New York City?" Naruto asked
The Ancient One nods "That took longer than I would have thought for someone who can freely sense and manipulate dimensional energy. You should work on your time. Anyways with that out of the way and you now having a way of staying in the loop I will take my leave." and with that, she turned around and opened a portal before stepping thru and closing it behind her
"Any chance you will look into the future to see if Pepper and I will have another child?" Tony asked nonchalantly
"Not a chance. Time and Events are not something that is to be typically messed with." Naruto answered before Tony went back to tinkering
(A year later – Tony's Workshop)
Naruto was watching Morgan so that Pepper could get some much-needed sleep while Tony continued to work on iterations of his suit for other industries such as EMS, Industrial, Construction, and Deep Sea Operations when suddenly Naruto began to sense a buildup of energy similar to the Time stone whenever the Ancient One visited.
'I doubt that her using the Time Stone would cause this kind of buildup of energy as all she is doing is letting time flow thru her.' Naruto thought before he started listening in to see if he couldn't pick anything up
"Sir please put down the spear." Nick said before he heard gunfire
(A Minute later)
"Please don't. I still need that." Naruto heard from someone unknown
"This doesn't need to get any messier." Fury said
"Of course, it does, I have come to far for anything else." The person spoke "I am Loki, of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose."
As soon as Naruto heard that name, he was reminded of the destroyer that was sent and the battle in that small town that took place, Loki was not of earth so now he was Naruto's problem. Naruto quickly created a clone and handed Morgan to it getting Tony's attention.
"What's up this time?" Tony asked curiously
"Earth has a not-so-friendly visitor, and as per my agreement with Fury, he is my problem to deal with. I shouldn't be gone too long." Naruto answered before he took off flying towards where he felt the energy building up again
(15 minutes later – Unknown Location)
Naruto soon arrived at the site where he sensed the energy buildup only to find a crater in its spot. Naruto looked around to see if he could find anyone, eventually, he found Fury holding a radio to his mouth and flew down to see what the hell happened.
"Fury what the hell happened here?" Naruto asked as he got within hearing range of Fury
"How the hell did you find this location it's suppose to be top secret?" Fury asked slightly concerned for the integrity of security
"I told you I could sense Energy and whatever did this was putting off quite a bit kinda hard to miss. Originally, I was going to ignore it but when I heard Loki's name I came as fast as I could." Naruto answered "You never told me you had an infinity stone."
"What the hell do you mean you heard Loki's name? You were back at Tony's place. And what the hell is an infinity stone?" Fury asked
"1. Super hearing on a planetary scale, I can hear everything that is happening on earth at any time I just filter it all out. 2. None of yours or Earths concern." Naruto simply stated "Where is it now?"
"The tesseract is long gone, that's what caused all this. Loki took it as well as several of my men." Fury answered "We have men trapped under the rumble would you mind lending a hand in search and rescue?"
Naruto nodded "Where do you want me to start?"
Fury pointed towards the tunnel in the rock face "I have an agent trapped down that tunnel that is currently working on search and rescue go lend her a hand."
And with that Naruto took off down the tunnel to assist in the search and rescue
(The next day – Tony's mansion)
Naruto was currently with Tony and Pepper as they had a private demonstration planned for the new suits that Tony planned on patenting. Currently, they were doing construction and Naruto was watching over Morgan as he held her in his arms.
"This suit has the capability to weld, lift up to 75 tons, 25 while flying, easy suit up as it opens up in the back allowing for a trained and certified worker to hop right in and start helping. And it has a tracker installed so that if it gets stolen it can be easily tracked. It also has proximity sensors built in so it will automatically shut down if it is taken off the premises unless otherwise authorized by the site manager" Tony explained as he displayed its easy capability of welding as well as lifting the beam over his head onto his shoulder before he picked up a stack and started hovering about 20 feet.
"So, what do you think? Is this something that your site or company would be interested in investing in? Of course, the Construction series will be a subscription based on how often we see it planned on being used. The specifics can be ironed out when we write up the paperwork." Pepper explained to the site manager and company owner as Tony put the suit back in its holding case which was about 6 feet tall, 3 feet wide, and 2 feet deep.
Just then they heard a gunshot, and everyone ran for cover except Naruto. Naruto looked around for the potential shooter only to find a 50-caliber bullet floating to his right. Naruto followed its trajectory to a building about 2 blocks away only to see that the sniper was already packing up. Naruto extended his hand and pulled the sniper out of the building. Before the sniper could even reach Naruto, he was foaming at the mouth and Naruto decided to just drop him in the middle of the street.
"This is like the 3rd attempt on Morgan's life in the last year." Naruto commented as Pepper ran up to him "When do you think they will get a clue?"
"So long as you are watching over Morgan I could care less." Pepper answered rhetorically as she took Morgan from Naruto and held her
"Are you okay sweety?" Pepper asked
"Yes mommy, Uncle Naruto made sure of that" Morgan replied
"Yes, he is very good at that isn't he." Tony and Pepper said rhetorically
Just then Naruto's phone rang "Sir it's Fury would you like me to let him thru?"
"Yea" Naruto answered before he turned his Bluetooth earbud on
"What's up Fury?" Naruto asked
"Naruto, I need help bringing in Banner to help locate the tesseract, currently I am sending Natasha but would like it if you would accompany her to make sure things don't get ugly." Fury spoke
"Yea sure thing let me just get these guys home." Naruto answered
"Thanks. I'll send you the meet-up point for Natasha." Fury said before hanging up
Naruto looked up "Fury has asked for my help so I will be doing what I usually do when I need to be in 2 places at once. But first, let's get this over with."
Pepper turned to the site manager and company owner "So have you made a decision yet?"
The site manager turned to the company owner "I think it would help immensely in cutting down construction time."
The company owner adopted a thinking pose "Let me talk it over with the board and I will get back to you Mrs. Stark."
Pepper nodded "Take as much time as you need. You have my business number." And with that Naruto picked up the case with the suit in it and placed it on his shoulder as the Stark family and Naruto headed out.
Naruto placed the case on the company flatbed alongside the other ones before he cloaked himself and created a clone cloaking it as well. The clone flew off towards the meetup point while Naruto hopped into the car and they drove off to the next destination with the flatbed following shortly behind them.
(Unknown Location – Kolkata)
The clone had just arrived at the coordinates that Fury supplied him only for it to be a run-down house Kolkata. Naruto walked into the house to find Natasha sitting in a chair.
"Where is Banner?" Naruto asked
"Should be arriving any minute." Natasha answered "So you are the big guns that Fury called in to help me?"
"Yea, you heard of the battle of Harlem?" Naruto asked, Natasha nodded "Yea well I am the one he called in to clean up that mess. I am the reason there is no longer an abomination."
"So, what is the call you talk to Banner, and I remain hidden unless things get ugly?" Naruto asked
"Nah we can both be present, you being present should be a deterrent so that he doesn't want to hulk out." Natasha answered
"Alright, then I just take up position right here." Naruto said walking a little ways away before he began meditating
(A few minutes later)
Naruto suddenly sensed Banner breach his perimeter and got up from meditating getting Natasha's attention "Banner is here."
Twenty seconds later a little girl walked in followed by Bruce Banner, the girl seeing that her job was done continued on her way thru a window in the back.
"Should have gotten paid up front, Banner." Bruce said to himself
Natasha decided to make her presence known and walked out a little bit "For a guy who's supposed to be avoiding stress, you picked one hell of a place to settle."
"Avoiding stress isn't the solution." Bruce commented
"And what exactly is? Yoga? Pilates?" Natasha asked rhetorically
Bruce looked around "You brought me to the edge of the city. Smart choice." Before he walked up to the window and looked outside "I assume the whole place is surrounded."
"Nope just you and me." Natasha answered as she took off the scarf she was wearing and set it down
"So was the girl a spy? You got them starting that young?" Bruce asked
"I did." Natasha simply answered not giving a straight answer
"What's your name?" Bruce asked
"Natasha Romanoff." Natasha answered
"Are you here to kill me, Romanoff? Because that's not going to work out for everyone." Bruce said
"No, of course not. I'm here on behalf of S.H.I.E.L.D." Natasha answered
"How did you guys find me?" Bruce asked
"We never lost you, Doctor Banner. We just kept our distance." Natasha answered "We even helped keep some other interested parties off your scent."
"Why?" Bruce asked looking at Natasha
"Fury seems to trust you, but now we need you to come in." Natasha answered
"And if I say no?" Bruce asked curiously
"I'll persuade you." Natasha answered with a mischievous smirk/grin
Bruce licked his lips "And what if the other guy says no?"
"You have been more than a year without an incident. I don't think you want to break that streak." Natasha answered
"Well, I don't always get what I want." Bruce said as he walked to a wooden baby swing and gently pushed it causing it to swing
"Doctor we are facing a potential global catastrophe." Natasha said pulling out her phone
"Well, those I actively try to avoid." Bruce said with a chuckle
Natasha finally found what she was looking for on her phone "This is the tesseract. It has the potential energy to wipe out the planet." as she set down her phone on a table for Bruce to see
Bruce walked up to the table and put his glasses on and picked up the phone to get a better look "And what exactly does Fury want me to do, swallow it?"
"No just find it. He wants you to find it. It's been taken. It emits a gamma signature that is too weak for us to trace. There is no one that knows gamma radiation better than you. If there was that's where I would be." Natasha answered
"After which I will be confiscating it so that no one else can use it." Naruto commented making his presence known
"Thought you said you were alone?" Bruce said looking at Natasha with a frown
"He is here incase you go nuclear." Natasha commented
"So, Fury isn't after the monster this time." Bruce asked
"Not that I have been told." Natasha answered
"And he tells you everything I assume?" Bruce asked rhetorically
"Talk to Fury. He needs you on this." Natasha said not giving a straight answer
"He needs me in a cage?" Bruce asked
"No one is going to put you in a cage." Natasha said reassuring him
Bruce slammed his hands down on the table "Stop lying to me!"
"Bruce calm down and back up." Naruto commanded
Bruce backed up "I'm sorry. That was mean. I just wanted to see what you'd do. Why don't we do this the easy way, where the other guy doesn't come out and make a mess."
"So, you will come?" Natasha asked
"Yes, I will come peacefully." Bruce answered
Naruto then turned to Natasha "I see that everything went smoothly I will be taking my leave if something goes wrong and you need my help just shout my name." and with that, the clone popped leaving behind a cloud of smoke.
(With the original Naruto before all this)
Tony was underwater as he finished cutting the newly built Stark tower off the grid. Seeing his work was done Tony shot back up towards the surface and broke right thru before he suddenly changed directions and headed back for the Stark Tower.
"Good to go on this end. The rest is up to you." Tony announced
"You disconnected the transmission lines? Are we officially off the grid?" Pepper asked
"Yep, Stark Tower is about to become a beacon of self-sustaining clean energy." Tony answered joyfully as he flew through the city towards the self-proclaimed tower
"Well, Honey that is assuming the arc reactor takes over and actually does its job and works." Pepper pointed out
"Go ahead and light her up." Tony said closing in on the tower
Pepper turned the tower on, and it came to life "How does it look?"
"Like Christmas but more us." Pepper answered
"We've got to go wider on the public awareness campaign. You need to do some press. I'll be in DC tomorrow; I'm working on the zoning for the next three buildings." Pepper started
"Pepper, you're killing me. Remember the moment?" Tony said annoyed cutting her off as he scaled the stark tower heading for his pad "Just enjoy the moment."
"Get in here and I will." Pepper said mischievously as Tony landed on his pad and began walking as the built-in machines dissembled his suit
"Sir, Agent Coulson of S.H.I.E.L.D. is on the line." JARVIS announced
"I'm not in. In fact, I'm out." Tony said as he continued
"Sir, I'm afraid he's insisting." JARVIS spoke
"Grow a spine JARVIS. I have a moment to enjoy with my family." Tony said annoyed
"Levels are holding steady, I think." Pepper announced while looking at a holographic projection
"Of course, they are I was directly involved." Tony commented as he walked up to Pepper giving her a kiss "How does it feel to be a genius. All this came from you."
"Correcting all this came from that." Pepper shot back before tapping the mini reactor keeping her husband alive
"Stark tower is our second baby." Tony said before he turned to Naruto who was holding Morgan "Would you do the honors of reinforcing the tower?"
"Sure, if you take Morgan off my hands." Naruto answered before he handed Morgan to her father as he walked back over to Pepper
"You want to see something cool Morgan?" Tony asked
"Yea!" Morgan let out
"Then watch your Uncle Naruto." Tony said before everyone turned to Naruto
Naruto then bent down and placed his hand on the ground and channeled chakra and everyone watched as red writing spread out from under his palm and spread like a virus soon covering the whole level. This went on for about 20 minutes before the writing finally stopped glowing and it settled into its normal black before it vanished.
"There this tower should now be able to handle a nuclear blast point blank." Naruto said as he stood up
"Sir the telephone, I'm afraid my protocols are being overridden." JARVIS announced
Tony turned to Naruto who only nodded, Tony then picked up his phone "What do you want Coulson?"
"Mr. Stark, we need to talk." Coulson answered before the elevator door opened revealing Coulson
"Mr. Stark, Mrs. Stark, Mr. Uzumaki" Coulson spoke
"Phil come in." Pepper said getting Tony's attention as they walked over to Coulson
"His first name is Agent is it not?" Tony commented
"I can't stay." Coulson said
"Come on in we are celebrating." Pepper said
"We need you to look this over as soon as possible." Coulson said as he took what looked like a black 2-in-1 laptop from his armpit and handed it to Tony
Pepper took it before she handed it to her husband "By the way consulting hours are between 8 and 5 every other Thursday." Tony said as he handed Morgan over to Pepper as he walked over to a table in the room and put together the computer that his wife handed him.
"This isn't a consultation." Coulson commented
Tony unlocked the computer and set it down on the table and unlocked it before he tossed up the information inside onto holoprojectors.
Morgan saw the video of the hulk on one of the screens "Big Green Man." while pointing to the screen with the video of hulk rampaging on it causing everyone to chuckle.
Pepper turned to Tony "It seems like you have your hands full with homework I'm going to take Morgan home as it's getting late, I'll see you when you get home." as she kissed her husband before turning around and looking at Naruto who simply opens a portal back to their mansion, Pepper and Morgan step thru before it closes behind them.
(The next day – Tony's Mansion)
Tony had finally finished going over the information that Coulson left for him while Naruto meditated off to the side actively listening for any mention of Loki's name when his phone buzzed.
"Sir, text message from Nick Fury." Hagoromo announced
Naruto picked up his phone 'We just got a hit on Loki, Stuttgart, Germany. 28 Konigstrasse. Bring Tony with you.'
"Suit up Tony, our visitor has been spotted." Naruto announced as Tony walked over to his machines to get suited up as he suited up "You get to follow me this time."
(Nighttime - Stuttgart, Germany)
"Miss me Agent Romanof?" Tony asked hijacking the quinjets intercom system as he and Naruto arrived on the scene
Tony blasted Loki back making him drop his scepter and hit the stairs. Naruto pulled the scepter to him disarming Loki.
"I dare you to make a move, Reindeer Games." Tony said as he aimed everything that his suit had on Loki
Loki put his hands up in a surrender motion "Smart move." Tony commented as everything retreated back into his suit
"Mr. Stark, Maelstrom." Steve greeted slightly winded from his scuffle with Loki
"Captain." Tony and Naruto greeted back
"Let's get him restrained and back to the helicarrier." Natasha suggested over the intercom as she landed the quinjet
"I'll be keeping my hands on this." Naruto stated as with Loki's scepter in hand as he sensed energy similar to the time and space stone coming from the scepter
(A couple hours later – Quinjet)
Naruto was sitting in a chair meditating while Natasha piloted the quinjet while Tony and Steve chatted.
"Is the bastard saying anything?" Fury asked
"Not a single word." Natasha answered
"Just get him here. We're running low on time." Fury ordered before the radio went silent
"I don't like this one bit." Steve commented
"What, Rock of Ages giving up so easily?" Tony asked
"Yea, I don't remember it ever being that easy. This guy packs a wallop." Steve answered
"Fury didn't tell me that he was calling you in." Steve commented
"Yea, there's a lot of things Fury doesn't tell you." Tony commented
Suddenly the clouds they were flying thru became storm clouds as thunder rumbled around them "Where's this coming from?" Natasha asked
Naruto got up from his seat "Thor's here for Loki." just as something landed on top of the quinjet, Naruto mentally opened the cockpit and Thor landed on the end before he starts moving towards Loki.
"Thor stand down, until we get to where we are going then we can talk." Naruto ordered
Thor remembering Naruto cut off the head of the destroyer reluctantly nods his head and Naruto mentally closes the cockpit.
(Hours later – Heli carrier)
They had gotten Loki to the Heli carrier and locked him up in some 'cage' on the Heli carrier. Naruto who was meditating, Thor, Bruce, Cap, and Natasha were gathered in the main room of the Heli carrier waiting for Tony to join them while Fury explained to Loki what would happen if he tried to escape while everyone watched.
"Oh, I've heard. The mindless beast. Makes play he's still a man. How desperate are you, that you call on such lost creatures to defend you?" They heard Loki ask over the intercom
"How desperate am I? You have threatened my world with war. You steal a force you can't hope to control. You talk about peace, and you kill because it's fun. You have made me very desperate. You might not be glad that you did." Nick answered
"Ohhh, it burns you to have come so close. To have the tesseract, to have power, unlimited power. And all for what? A warm light for all mankind to share? And then to be reminded what real power is." Loki taunted
Fury scoffed at Loki "Let me know if 'real power' wants a magazine or something?" as he walked off
"He really grows on you doesn't he?" Bruce said breaking the silence
"Loki's gonna drag this out." Steve stated "So Thor, what's his play?"
"He has an army called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard, nor any world known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the Earth, in return, I suspect, for the Tesseract." Thor explained
"An army from outer space." Steve stated before looking at Naruto "You know what that doesn't even surprise me at this point."
"Let Loki try and invade Earth, him and his army will meet the swift end of my fist." Naruto commented
"So, he is building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for." Bruce comments
"Selvig?" Thor asks concerned
"He's an astrophysicist." Bruce states
"He's a friend." Thor states as well
"Loki has him under some kind of spell, along with one of ours." Natasha states
"I want to know why Loki let us take him." Steve stated "He's not leading an army from here."
"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki." Bruce commented "That guy's brain is a bag full of cats. You could smell crazy on him."
"Have care how you speak. Loki is far beyond reason, but he is still of Asgard. And he is my brother." Thor said defensively
"Your brother killed 80 people in 2 days." Natasha informed him
"He is adopted." Thor said defensively
"I think it's about the mechanics. Iridium… What do they need iridium for?" Bruce asked just as Tony walked in
"It's a stabilizing agent. It's a means to keep the portal from collapsing in on itself, like it did at S.H.I.E.L.D. Also, it means the portal can be opened as wide and stay open as long as Loki wants." Tony explained as he walked up to the main terminals on the bridge "How does Fury even see these?"
"He turns." Maria answered
"Sounds exhausting." Tony commented "The rest of the raw materials, Agent Barton can get his hands on pretty easily. The only major component he still needs is a power source of high-energy density. Something to kick-start the cube." he explained as he silently planted a bug out of sight
"And when did you become an expert in thermonuclear astrophysics?" Maria asked
"Last night. I have a pretty big incentive to keep this world safe from invaders." Tony answered "The packet, Selvig's notes, the extraction theory papers. Am I the only one who did the reading?"
"I don't need to I can handle whatever he plans on throwing at Earth." Naruto commented still meditating with his eyes closed
"Yeah, I know." Tony commented
"Does Loki need any particular kind of power source?" Steve asked
"He would have to heat the cube to 120,000,000 Kelvin just to break through the Coulomb barrier." Banner started explaining
"Unless Selvig has figured out how to stabilize the quantum tunneling effect." Tony cut him off
"Well, if he could do that he could achieve heavy ion fusion at any reactor on the planet." Bruce commented
"Finally, someone who speaks English." Tony commented back as he shook Bruce's hand
"Is that what just happened?" Steve asked rhetorically
"It's good to meet you, Dr. Banner. Your work on antielectron collisions is unparalleled." Tony said "I'm also a huge fan of the way you lose control and turn into an enormous green rage-monster."
"Tony behave." Naruto warned
Tony put his hands up defensively "All I said was that I was a fan."
"Don't make me sick Pepper on you." Naruto threatened causing Tony to go ghostly white
"Alright, you win." Tony said utterly defeated
Just then Fury walked in "Dr. Banner is only here to track the cube. I was hoping you and Naruto might join him."
"I would start with that stick of his. It may be magical, but it works an awful lot like a HYDRA weapon." Steve suggested
"I don't know about that, but it is powered by the cube. And I would like to know how Loki used it to turn two of the sharpest men I know into his own personal flying monkeys." Fury said
"Monkeys? I do not understand." Thor said confused
"It's an Earthly metaphor/expression, Thor." Naruto answered
"Shall we play, Doctor?" Tony asked
"Sure follow me." Bruce said as Naruto got up from meditating and followed after them
(Heli Carrier – Lab)
Naruto, Bruce, and Tony had made it to the lab and Naruto unsealed Loki's scepter from one of his arm seals shocking Bruce.
"That just appeared out of thin air, how did you do that?" Bruce asked
"Storage seal on my arm allows me to store it in a pocket dimension on my arm." Naruto answered
"Is this a new type of technology that I'm just now hearing about?" Bruce pressed curious as can be
"Not really, this tech is kinda only available to me as people like me are only able to use it." Naruto answered
"What do you mean people like you? You look the same as me. Minus the whisker marks." Bruce continued to press on
"I don't know you that well, Tony knows what I am, very few people know what I am, one of those people being Fury." Naruto said shutting Bruce down as he walked over to the table closest to the window and took off his glove. Naruto then grabbed the scepter and focused on channeling dimensional energy.
Naruto was soon brought into a void that he was all to familiar with, Naruto looked around to see the scepter's orb being broken revealing a stone that he could only assume was an Infinity Stone. "Humans only ever scratch the surface; they never think to look within." Spoke a robot as the stone fell into the hands of said robot. The robot then took the stone and moved over to what looked like a cradle and placed the stone on the forehead of what looked to be being built inside the cradle, it looked to be printing a body.
And then Naruto was brought back to reality as he placed the scepter on the stand the table provided. Bruce then walked over to the table and got started as Naruto took up a seat on a table not too far away from it to resume meditating while Tony got started as well.
(A couple of hours later – Lab)
Hours had passed and it was now dark outside. Bruce was still examining the scepter and Tony was doing his own thing.
Bruce waved the wand over the orb part of the scepter "The gamma readings are definitely consistent with Dr. Selvig's reports of the Tesseract. But it's going to take weeks to process."
"Not if we bypass their mainframe and direct route to the Homer cluster, we can clock this at around 600 teraflops." Tony commented as he did just that before he walked over to the table that Bruce was at.
"All I packed was a toothbrush." Bruce laughed
"You know you should come by Stark Tower sometime. Top ten floors all R&D. You would love it. It's Candy Land for nerds." Tony said inviting Bruce
"Thanks, but the last time I was in New York, I kind of broke Harlem." Bruce said as Tony got closer
"Well, I promise a stress-free environment. No tension, no surprises." Tony said reassuring Bruce
Just then Steve walked in "How's the search for the Tesseract going?"
"Good." Tony and Bruce stated
"Why did Fury call us in? Why now? Why not before?" Tony asked curiously "What isn't he telling us?"
"You think Fury is hiding something?" Steve asked
"He's a spy. Captain, he's 'the' spy. His secrets have secrets." Tony answered
"Doctor what do you think?" Steve asked
"'A warm light for all of mankind.' Loki's jab at Fury about the Cube." Bruce said
"Most of us heard it." Steve commented
"I think that was meant for you." Bruce stated pointing at Tony "Even if Barton didn't tell Loki about the tower, it was still all over the news."
"The Stark Tower? That big, ugly…" Steve started before Tony gave him a look daring him to go on "building in New York?"
"Steve be nice." Naruto spoke still meditating
"It's powered by an arc reactor, a self-sustaining energy source. That building will run itself for, what a year?" Bruce asked
"It's just the prototype." Tony answered "I'm kind of the only name in clean energy right now. That's what he is getting at."
"So, why didn't S.H.I.E.L.D. bring him in on the Tesseract project? What are they doing in the energy business in the first place?" Bruce asked everyone
"I should probably look into that once my decryption program finishes breaking into all of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s secure files. JARVIS has been running it since I tagged the bridge." Tony stated bringing up his phone to look at the status "In a few hours, I'll know every dirty secret S.H.I.E.L.D. has ever tried to die."
"And yet you're confused about why they didn't want you around." Steve asked sarcastically
"Play nice boys don't make me get up from my seat." Naruto warned them
"An intelligence organization that fears intelligence? Historically, not awesome." Tony stated
"I think Loki's trying to wind us up. He is a man who means to start a war and if we don't stay focused, he will succeed. We have orders. We should follow them." Steve said
"Following's not really my style." Tony commented
"That's rich considering you followed my advice on what you should do with Pepper." Naruto laughed
"And you're all about style, aren't you?" Steve asked sarcastically
"Out of everyone in this room which one is, A, wearing a spangly outfit, and, B, not of use?" Tony shot back
"Steve, tell me none of this smells a little funky to you." Bruce interjected
Steve contemplated for a second "Just find the Cube." before he walked out
"That's the guy my dad never shut up about? Wonder if they should have kept him on ice." Tony commented as Bruce walked over to one of the screens in the back of the lab
"Huh, the guy's not wrong about Loki. He does have the jump on us." Bruce commented
"What he's got is an Acme dynamite kit. It's gonna blow up in his face. And I'm going to be there when it does." Tony said as we walked over to another screen in the back of the lab.
"Yeah. I'll read all about it." Bruce said as he flicked something over to Tony's screen
"Uh-huh. Or you'll be suiting up with the rest of us." Tony said
Bruce chuckled "You see, I don't get a suit of armor. I'm exposed. Like a nerve. It's quite a nightmare."
"You know I have a cluster of shrapnel trying every second to crawl its way into my heart. This thing stops it." Tony said as he tapped his arc reactor with his finger "If it wasn't for Naruto I would have probably died out in the desert. I am eternally grateful for him and all that he has done for me and my family."
"You know I would do it again in a heartbeat Tony." Naruto interjected "I would help anyone on this team with anything if they needed it no matter how bizarre it would seem to them."
"Anyways, this little circle of light, it's part of me now, not just the armor." Tony stated as he walked behind the screen that Bruce was working on "It's a terrible privilege."
"But you can control it easily. I had to learn how to. It's different." Bruce said before Tony swiped everything to the side allowing for a clear view of each other
"Hey, I read all about your accident. That much gamma exposure should have killed you." Tony stated
"His body has a unique ability to synthesize natural energy and augment his body with it. All that mass that he gains when he hulks out is his body absorbing natural energy and bulking him up with it. But a trade-off is that he losses control like a certain clan from where I come from." Naruto explained "Gamma radiation is natural energy; you people just call it radiation cause too much of it can kill a person."
Bruce turned to Naruto "What do you mean by Gamma radiation is natural energy?"
"Gamma radiation is natural energy; you people just call it radiation because if someone gets too much exposure it can kill them. Where I come from special people called 'Sage's' can actually draw in natural energy from their surroundings and mix it with their internal energy called 'chakra' and boost their bodies to unseen limits; enhanced strength, speed, reflexes, perception, durability and boost their attacks. Although the only difference between someone fucking up with that in his world v.s. where I come from is that you guys don't turn to stone if you absorb too much and can't balance it internally." Naruto explained "Let me guess when you hulk out you get super strength, speed, durability, and reflexes."
Bruce nodded with a newfound respect for the whiskered blond before he turned back to Tony "So you're saying that the Hulk…or rather the other guy saved my life? That's a nice sentiment."
(10 minutes later)
"Loki means to unleash the Hulk. Keep Banner in the lab. I'm on my way. Send Thor as well." Naruto heard Natasha say
Just then Fury walked in "What are you doing, Mr. Stark?"
"Uh, kinda been wondering the same thing about you." Tony shot back
"You are supposed to be locating the Tesseract." Fury said clearly irritated with Tony's antics
"We are. The model's locked and we are just waiting for a hit. When we do get a hit we will know the location within half a mile." Bruce stated
"Yeah, then you get your Cube back. No muss, no fuss." Tony added
"That Tesseract is going nowhere else except for into my necklace for safe keeping." Naruto stated still meditating "And I dare you to try and stop me Fury."
"What is 'Phase 2'?" Tony asked just as Cap walked into the room and dropped a weapon on the table
"Phase 2 is S.H.I.E.L.D. uses the Cube to make weapons. Sorry, the computer was moving a little slow for me." Steve answered getting Naruto's attention as he got off the table he was meditating on
"Oh now you done messed up Fury, Naruto stopped his meditating." Tony commented
"Rogers, we gathered everything related to the Tesseract that we could. This does not mean we are making…" Fury stated trying to defuse the situation just as Tony pulled up a weapons blueprint
"I'm sorry Nick. What were you lying?" Tony said as he turned the screen so that Cap and Nick could see the blueprint
"The world hasn't changed a bit." Steve said disappointed
Just then Thor and Natasha walked in getting everyone's attention.
"Did you know about this?" Bruce asked Natasha
"You want to think about removing yourself from the situation Doctor?" Natasha asked
"I was pretty well removed in Calcutta." Bruce shot back
"Loki is trying to manipulate you." Natasha said trying to get Banner out of the situation
"And you've been doing what exactly?" Bruce shot
"You didn't come here because I bat my eyelashes at you." Natasha continued to try and get Banner out of the lab
"I'm not going to leave just because suddenly you get a little twitchy. I'd like to know why S.H.I.E.L.D. is using the Tesseract to build weapons of mass destruction." Bruce stated
There was silence for about 5 seconds before Fury pointed to Thor and Naruto "Because of them."
This took Naruto and Thor by surprise "Me?" they both said confused
"Last year, Earth has a visitor from another planet, who has a grudge match that leveled a small town. We learned that not only are we not alone but we are hopelessly, hilariously, outgunned, not to mention about 8 years ago another group of visitors decided to take up permanent residence on Earth." Fury explained
"My people want nothing but peace with your planet." Thor said defensively
"But you are not the only people out there, are you? And you are not the only threat. The world's filling up with people who can't be matched, that can't be controlled." Fury shot
"I thought we had an understanding, Fury. You need help with anything not from this planet and you call me in to take care of it." Naruto asked
"Like you controlled the Cube?" Steve shot back
"Your work with the Tesseract is what drew Loki to it, and his allies. It is a signal to all the realms that Earth is ready for a higher form of war." Thor interjected
"A higher form?" Steve asked confused
"You forced our hand." Fury stated defending his point before he turned to Naruto "You are a being that we can't hope to control so we had to try other means to try and gain control." before he turned back to Thor
"You forced our hand. We had to come up with something." Fury stated
"A nuclear deterrent because that always calms everything right down." Tony shot causing Fury to turn to him
"Remind me again how you made your fortune, Stark." Fury shot
"Yeah, we all make mistakes, and look at me now I turned over a new leaf, got clean, got myself a family, turned away from the weapons business and into the clean energy business." Tony shot back
"I thought that humans were more evolved than this." Thor interjected causing Fury to turn to him
"Excuse me, did we come to your planet and blow stuff up?" Fury shot
"Are you boys really that naive? S.H.I.E.L.D. monitors potential threats." Natasha interjected
"Wait Captain America is on threat watch?" Bruce asked shocked
"We all are." Natasha answered
"You speak of control, yet you court chaos." Thor shot
"That's his M.O., isn't it?" Bruce interjected "What are you a team? No, we are a chemical mixture for chaos. We're a time bomb."
Just then the gamma search got a ping "Looks like we got a match." Bruce said as he went over to the screen to check on the hit
"The Tesseract belongs on Asgard. No human is a match for it." Thor stated
"Like I told Fury the only place that Tesseract is going is into my necklace for safe keeping." Naruto commanded
Just then an explosion rocked the ship, Naruto saw the fire from the explosion coming around the corner and reacting quickly by flaring his Biju cloak encompassing everyone as they watched the explosion flow around them blowing out the windows of the lab and several tables.
"It feels so warm, like a warm blanket hugging me." Tony, Natasha, and Steve commented
"So, this is what you are capable of friend Naruto?" Thor commented
"This is only the tip of the iceberg." Naruto answered as he drew his cloak back in before Tony ran off to get suited up with Cap not far behind
Fury reached for his earpiece "Hill!"
"External detonation. Number three engine is down." Maria responded "Somebody's got to get outside and patch that engine."
"Stark you copy that?" Fury asked
"I'm on it." Tony answered
"Coulson, initiate defensive lockdown in the detention section then get to the armory." Fury ordered before he headed towards the bridge
Just then Naruto sensed a draw on the natural energy around him and he looked back to see Bruce beginning to hulk out.
"Bruce, you need to calm down." Naruto said as he walked over to Bruce
Naruto seeing that Bruce wasn't calming down places his hand on Bruce and siphons the natural energy from him stopping his transformation shocking Natasha and Fury.
"You stay with Banner. If he begins to hulk out again kick him out the window. I'm going to go help Tony with engine repairs." Naruto ordered as he headed over to where Steve and Tony were
As Naruto was making his way over to the downed engine several soldiers attempted to stall him but were quickly knocked unconscious or heavily injured as a result of trying to take him on. Just then Naruto felt the Heli carrier start to lean.
"Naruto, we lost another engine can you do anything to keep this bird in the air?" Fury asked over the radio
"First off, I would like to remain anonymous so if you must call me something refer to me as Maelstrom. Second, yes, I got it covered." Naruto answered as he phased thru the walls of the Heli carrier
Naruto then flew under the Heli carrier and began to lift it bringing it back to balance, a few seconds later Naruto watched as a hulked-out Bruce fell from the Heli carrier.
"How long do you need me to keep this bird level Fury?" Naruto asked
"Just until we get the engines back up and running." Fury answered "What exactly are you doing?"
"Lifting this bird from its bottom." Naruto answered before there was a moment of radio silence
"You mean to tell me you are single-handedly lifting this entire thing yourself to keep it in the air?" Fury asked
"I did tell you that I could fly and that I have super strength, and this shocks you?" Naruto answered
"When you said you could fly, I didn't expect you to be able to lift a several thousand-ton aircraft." Fury commented
"Let's not focus on the specifics' let's focus on getting this bird's engines back online." Naruto said irritated
"How's the engine coming Tony?" Naruto asked
"Working on it. Just keep up the good work." Tony answered
A couple of minutes later Loki's cell falls out of the bottom of the Heli carrier. A few minutes later Naruto feels the weight above him lessen signifying that they got the engines back on. As Naruto flies back up to Tony and Steve he sees a Quin jet fly off into the distance, sensing Loki's signature getting farther and farther away Naruto can only conclude that whoever attacked the Heli carrier managed to extract Loki. Deciding to leave Loki and make sure that everything is ok on the Heli carrier.
"What's the damage Fury?" Naruto asked
"We have one dead and several injured." Fury answered "You wouldn't mind resurrecting one of my agents, would you?"
"Sorry no can do; I do not mess with the deceased. That can bring on a whole other batch of problems." Naruto answered
(Several Minutes Later – Bridge – Heli Carrier)
After getting everything, they could in order Steve, Cap, and Naruto gathered on the bridge with Naruto floating and meditating in a corner.
Fury holds up some cards "These were in Phil Coulson's jacket. I guess he never did get you to sign them. Cap." as he tossed the cards on the table "We're dead in the air up here. Our communications, the location of the Cube, Banner, Thor. I got nothing for you. I lost my one good eye. Maybe I had that coming."
"You may not know where the Cube is, but I know where it will be." Naruto spoke up
"And do you mind sharing?" Fury asked
"I'll let them figure it out, can't have us heading over there earlier than we are supposed to." Naruto answered
"Yes, we were going to build an arsenal with the Tesseract. I never put all my chips on that number, though, Tony and Naruto know this. I was playing something even riskier. There was an idea, called the Avengers Initiative. The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, to see if they could become something more. To see if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles that we never could. Maelstrom is the supervisor of that group, and Phil Coulson died still believing in that idea. In heroes." Fury explained as Tony got up at the last part and walked off shortly after Naruto gets up and heads for Barton intent on giving him something.
(Infirmary – Heli carrier)
Naruto made it to the infirmary having followed Natasha's signature, soon he arrived at the room that Natasha and a strapped Clint were in. Naruto knocked on the door getting Natasha's attention.
Natasha opened the door "What do you want?"
"Just wanted to see how a member of my team was doing, plus I come bearing gifts for both of you." Naruto answered as he unsealed a bow handle and a pair of wrist blasters similar to Natasha's from his arm
"What are those?" Natasha asked
"For you a pair of bracelets similar to your own but these can be configured on the fly in terms of firepower, anywhere from punching a hole thru 3 inches of tungsten carbide to firing a concussive blast to knock enemies back." Naruto explained as he handed Natasha the bracelets
"How do I configure them 'on the fly'?" Natasha asked curious as to the method of configuration
Naruto handed her a small piece of metal "Just put that behind your ear and tap it."
Natasha placed it behind her right ear and tapped it causing it to embed itself underneath her skin "What was that? It felt like a brief searing pain."
"That was the piece of metal that I gave you embedding itself underneath your skin so its undetectable. Now all you need to do is think about how much punch you want it to pack, and it will auto-adjust." Naruto explained before he turned to Clint and handed him the bow handle
"What's this?" Clint asked
"It's a nanotech bow, powered by natural energy once activated the limbs of the bow will flow out of the handle and fully extend into a full bow, the material of both your gifts are indestructible by any means in this universe." Naruto said as he handed another piece of metal exactly like he gave Natasha to Clint
Clint took the piece of metal and placed it behind his ear and tapped it before it embedded itself into his skin "So how do I activate it?"
"Just tell it to activate, same as Natasha's." Naruto answered
Clint did so and everyone watched as nanoparticles flowed out of the handle and formed the limbs of the bow, when the limbs fully formed a string of light flowed from one limb to the other making the bowstring.
"Neat, but what about the arrows? Typically, I have a quiver with a bunch of different heads that I use." Clint asked
"I have already programmed arrowheads with different properties like exploding and melting, etc. Additionally, you can configure the firepower behind a normal arrowhead, and your grapple arrow would just be a piercing arrow with an unbreakable string of energy that stays attached to your bow until you will it to break." Naruto explained "Go ahead and try it."
Clint lifted the bow up and tried a scatter arrow variation and he watched as an arrowhead of light with multiple fragments of light formed at the head of the bow. He then tried an exploding arrow and watched as the arrowhead turned into a big orb of light that looked like it was ready to explode.
"I can feel the weight change with every arrowhead." Clint commented
"It's called hard light, its light given mass." Naruto explained "It's meant to be a backup for when you run out of arrows so just keep on your waist."
"Did Loki get away?" Clint asked
"Yes, he did." Natasha answered "Do you know where to?"
"No, he didn't tell me that much as I didn't need to know." Clint answered "But he is gonna make his play soon, like today soon."
"We have to stop him." Natasha comments
"And we will, I know some of what the future holds, and it's nothing that this team can't handle." Naruto reassured Natasha and Clint
"Well, I'll leave you to be." Naruto said as he left to go check on Steve and Tony
(With Steve and Tony)
"Son of a bitch." was all that Naruto heard Tony say as he began walking out
"You figure out where Loki's gonna be?" Naruto asked
"Yea, gonna go get my suit flight ready now." Tony said as he walked out followed shortly by Steve
Naruto decided to follow Steve as he made his way toward the medical wing. Soon they arrived at the room Natasha and Clint were in.
"It's time to go." Steve ordered
"Go where?" Natasha asked
"I'll tell you on the way." Steven answered "Can you fly one of those jets?"
"I can." Clint butted in
"Do you have a suit?" Steve asked
"Yea, and I have a new toy to try out." Clint answered
"Then suit up." Steve said before he walked away with Naruto following him
A couple minutes later and everyone was suited up and Steve lead Natasha, Naruto, and Clint towards a quinjet while Tony decided to go ahead of them. They walked into a quin jet only to be met by a technician.
"Hey, you guys aren't authorized to be in here…" The technician said as he got up from what he was doing
"Son, just don't." was all that Steve said before Clint walked past the technician and got in the pilot's seat
The technician seeing that there was nothing he could do to stop 4 people decided to cut his losses and left.
"So where are we headed?" Natasha asked
"Stark tower." Steve answered
"So that's the building that I saw in my vision." Naruto commented causing Natasha and Steve to turn to him
"You mean to tell me you knew the location but didn't tell us?" Steve asked rhetorically
"Well, I didn't know the exact location as I didn't look around much but I know that there was a machine there to open a portal. Certain events need to happen to ensure catastrophic events don't happen that would cause even more harm." Naruto answered/explained
Soon they were in the air and headed to Stark tower following a ways behind Tony.
(5 minutes later – Stark Tower)
Clint, Naruto, Natasha, and Steve finally made it to New York City and saw the beam of light shooting into the sky.
"Stark, we're on your three, headed northeast." Natasha informed over the radio
"What did you stop for drive-through?" Tony asked "Swing up Park. I'm gonna lay 'em out for you. Have Maelstrom join me if he wants." Tony ordered
"I'll take care of any stragglers then I'll join you guys." Naruto said as his helmet formed over his head as he mentally opened the cockpit and jumped out following behind the quin jet
As they flew down the street they saw Tony pass them with Chitari not far behind him and Natasha started firing getting several of them. Naruto followed the stragglers and got them with his Heat Vision. Naruto saw the Chitauri heading for the quinjet and took care of them as well before he flew off to help Tony.
"Maelstrom a little help." Natasha asked as Naruto turned around to see one of the quin jets' engines destroyed
"How the hell did you manage to get an engine destroyed?" Naruto asked as he caught the quin jet from underneath as he carried it down to the ground and set it down
"Is everyone okay?" Naruto asked as Clint, Natasha, and Steve got out of the quin jet
"Yea." They answered
"We have to get back up there." Steve commented as they make their way towards Stark Tower
They get a few feet before they hear a roar and look up and saw a massive beast come thru the portal.
Naruto chuckled "The party is just getting started."
Steve, Natasha, and Clint look at him "How do you know?"
"As I said before I know some of what is going to happen, as well as what needs to happen to avoid dire catastrophic events." Naruto answered
'Is he serious?' they all thought
"What could be worse than this?" Natasha asked
"Beats me but I would rather not find out. I can't control everything all I can do is lessen what is set to happen." Naruto answered
They watched as the massive beast flew down and right above them destroying a statue as multiple Chitauri lept from the beast onto and into buildings.
"Stark you seeing this?" Steve asked
"Yea, I'm seeing. I've been believing long before this shit." Tony answered "Where's Banner? Has he shown up yet?"
"Banner?" Steve asked
"Nevermind that, just keep me posted." Tony answered "Maelstrom you mind taking care of the big one?"
"Sure." Naruto said as he took off straight towards the massive beats using his Heat Vision to carve a tunnel straight thru it before he came out the other side and joined back with Steve, Natasha and Clint
"We have civilians on the street, I'll cover you guys, you get them off the streets." Naruto ordered as he took to the skies while Steve, Natasha, and Clint began getting the civilians off the streets and into buildings.
(Two minutes later)
Steve had given orders to the local police to get the civilians off the streets and into buildings or underground. With that taken care of Steve, Natasha, and Clint regrouped just as Thor and Naruto came down.
"What's the story upstairs?" Steve asked
"The power surrounding the Cube is impenetrable." Thor answered
"Thor's right. We got to deal with these guys." Tony commented over the radio
"How do we do this?" Natasha asked
"As a team." Steve answered
"I have unfinished business with Loki." Thor said
"Yeah, get in line." Clint commented
"Save it. Loki's going to keep this fight focused on us, and that's what we need. Without him, these things could run wild. We got Stark up top. He's going to need us to…" Steve began giving orders before they heard a motorcycle come up with Banner on it
"So, this all seems horrible." Banner commented
"I've seen worse." Natasha commented
"You were just doing what you were told to do." Banner said reassuring her
"We could use a little worse." Natasha said back
"Banner has arrived." Steve informed Tony
"Then tell him to suit up, I'm bringing the party to you." Tony said as he rounded the corner headed straight for them with one of the massive beasts hot on his tail
"I don't see how that's a party." Natasha commented slightly worried
Bruce began to walk towards the massive incoming beast.
"Dr. Banner. Now might be a really good time for you to get angry." Steve said as Bruce continued to walk towards the now skidding beast
"That's my secret Captain. I'm always angry." Bruce said as he began to transform when the beast was within 50 feet of him
Hulk then punched the beast in the head caving its head in as it pushed him a couple of feet before he stopped it dead in its tracks as it began to flip over. Naruto cut the beast in half with his Heat Vision, flew up, and grabbed the beast's tail before he swung it over his head slamming it on the street before rejoining the others.
"Send the rest." Naruto heard Loki say
"He's ordering the rest of the Chitari to come thru." Naruto informed them as they all watched more begin to flood thru the portal in the sky.
"Guys." Natasha said
"Call it Captain." Tony said
"All right listen up. Until we can close that portal, our priority is containment. Barton, I want you on that roof. Eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays. Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or you turn it to ash." Steve began spitting out orders
"Can you give me a lift?" Clint asked
"Better clench up, Legolas." Tony commented before he grabbed Clint by the back and took off
"Thor, Naruto you got to try and bottleneck that portal. Slow them down. Thor you got the lightning. Light the bastards up. Maelstrom, you got that vision, burn them to a crisp." Steve ordered
"Oh, I have been wanting to try something for a while now." Naruto commented before he turned to Thor "I can create a funnel; you light them up." And with that, they both took to the skies
Thor flew up to a nearby tower and began charging up his hammer while Naruto created a funnel with this Telekinesis preventing the Chitauri from going anywhere but down. After Thor had charged up, he unleashed it on everything coming out of the portal.
Naruto gathered some chakra "Storm style: Laser Circus" he called out as extended 2 fingers, from those two fingers hundreds of lasers shot out and impaled the Chitauri that were coming out of the portal. Thor kept up his attack for about 2 minutes before he had to stop and just started chasing after Chitauri. Naruto seeing it as just a waste of chakra stopped his attack and just flew around covering the military.
(8 minutes later)
"All this fighting is not going to mean a damn thing if we can't close the portal." Steve commented "Is there any way that we can close that portal?"
"I think it's about time I see if I can't do anything about that portal." Naruto said as he headed for Stark Tower "You guys said it's protected by a barrier of pure energy right?"
"Yea, what about it?" Tony asked
"Well, pure energy can't counter pure energy so I can break right thru it." Naruto answered
Naruto made it up to the top of Stark Tower where the machine was situated just as Selvig regained consciousness. Selvig watched as Naruto walked right up to the machine.
"You can't penetrate it like I told Tony the barrier is made of pure energy." Selvig said warning Naruto
Naruto covered his arm in his Biju cloak and thrust his arm into the barrier, breaking right thru it shocking Selvig "Guys I'm closing the portal."
"Hold on just a second I got a nuke and it's gonna blow in less than a minute." Tony called out
"Alright let me know when you are 5 seconds out and I'll clear a path." Naruto said as he withdrew his arm
"Kurama, you want to stretch a bit?" Naruto asked
"You know I do." Kurama answered
"Alright then let's get ready to clear a path for Tony." Naruto said as he flared up Kurama's avatar, Naruto then began charging up a Bijudama.
20 seconds later Tony spoke up "Climbing Stark Tower now. Whatever you are gonna do to clear me a path do it now."
"Tailed Beast Bomb/Tailed Beast Bomb." Naruto and Kurama both cried out as they sent if flying towards the portal smashing everything in its way.
Soon after they sent it Tony came flying up the tower with the Nuke above him. Naruto pulled Tony to him as he funneled the Nuke right thru the portal. Naruto then walked over to the machine keeping the portal open and ripped out the tesseract just as Loki got sent flying up to the top level of the tower followed shortly by Hulk. Soon after that the Chitauri flying around the city and the massive flying beasts when limp and fell to the ground.
Naruto and Tony turned their attention back to the Tesseract in Naruto's hands.
"So, what are we gonna do this that thing?" Tony asked
"'We' are not going to do anything; I am going to be keeping this with me for safe keeping." Naruto answered "But first the casing has to go." as he started to squeeze the tesseract
Tony watched as the Tesseract began to develop cracks before it crumbled underneath the pressure that Naruto was putting it under. Naruto blew the 'casing' away leaving a small blue gem. Naruto put the gem between his fingers as he lifted it up.
"This Tony is the space stone." Naruto explained before he brought the space stone up to his necklace and let it integrate into his necklace taking up a home in one of his necklaces 6 tomoes "It's one of the universes 6 infinity stones each controlling an aspect of the universe." as soon as the Space stone finished integrating itself into Naruto's necklace he felt a surge/rush of energy.
"It has finished integrating itself. It's not going anywhere unless I take it out now." Naruto commented
A couple of minutes later the Avengers gathered by the still stunned Loki.
Loki finally got over his shell-shocked only to be greeted by Naruto, Natasha holding his scepter, Hulk, Clint holding his new bow with an arrow of light aimed right at Loki, Steve, and Thor.
Loki chuckled "If it's all the same to you, I'll have that drink now."
(Later that day)
Loki had been detained and it was time for Thor to take Loki back to Asgard for his punishment. The Avenger gathered in Central Park to see Thor and Loki off.
"So there is no way that I can bring the Tesseract back to Asgard with me?" Thor asked
"The Tesseract is no more I already crushed it leaving only the Space stone which is now happily secured in my necklace." Naruto answered as he pointed to the blue gem in his necklace "Anyways let's get you 2 home." and with that Naruto opened Thor and Loki a portal back to Asgard
"Know this Loki." Naruto said getting Loki's attention "You are lucky that you are Thor's adopted brother otherwise I would kill you myself for all the death and destruction that you have caused. Bring trouble to Earth again and I will kill you."
Naruto then tossed Thor a Hirashin kunai "If you ever want to talk or need something don't hesitate to ask. Just throw it and I will be there."
And with that Thor shoved Loki thru the portal before stepping thru it, Naruto closed the portal behind them.
Natasha got out a duffle bag and handed it to Bruce. Clint and Natasha then got into their car and drove off, Bruce got into Tony's, and they drove off. Naruto then opened a portal back home and stepped thru it.
(Elsewhere with Fury)
Fury was in front of multiple screens housing the live feed for the World Security Council.
"Where are the Avengers?" One man asked
"I have the supervising Avenger on speed dial, he is always with Tony, other than that I am not currently tracking their whereabouts. I'd say they've earned a leave of absence." Fury answered
"And the Tesseract?" One woman asked
"The Tesseract is no more, from what I have gathered the Tesseract was only the casing for something called an 'Infinity Stone', the Infinity Stone that was within the Tesseract is currently being safeguarded by the supervising Avenger; The one that broke the Tesseract in the first place." Fury explained
"And who is the supervising Avenger?" the man asked
"He has chosen to remain anonymous under the name 'Maelstrom' and I am quite inclined to not reveal their actual identity considering what they are capable of and trust me when I say they will know if I divulge their information." Fury answered
"And you just let this 'Supervising Avenger' break the Tesseract and keep this 'Infinity Stone'? What about phase 2? This wasn't your call to make." the man asked
"I didn't make the call I just didn't argue with the being that broke the Tesseract considering what the being is capable of I am inclined to not argue with them. What I will say is that they are on Earth and plan to be for the foreseeable future, so we have nothing to worry about." Fury explained
"And what of the war criminal 'Loki', who should be answering for his crime?" The man asked
"Oh, I think he will be. The Maelstrom has already warned Loki that if they bring trouble to earth again he will kill him." Fury answered
"I don't think you understand what you have started Director Fury. Letting the Avengers loose on this world. They are dangerous. Especially this Maelstrom considering the what that they did atop Stark Tower." The woman stated
"They surely are, and the whole world knows it. Every world knows it. Maelstrom can take whatever comes Earths way." Fury commented
"Was that the point of all this? A Statement?" the man asked
"No, just a promise." Fury answered before he ended the call and walked out to the Heli carriers bridge
"Sir, how does it work now? They've gone their separate ways. Some pretty extremely far. If we get into a situation like this again, what happens then?" Maria asked
"They'll come back. Maelstrom is all we really need but he can track the rest of them down if we need him to." Fury answered
"And you are sure of this, Sir?" Maria asked
"That I am." Fury simply stated
"Why?" Maria asked
"Because we will need them to." Fury answered
