Hey guys! It's time for another chapter of MGG! As you can probably guess by the title, more ghostly action is on the way. The big question is what exactly happens this time. You guys are about to find out, after some reviews!

Gundoru: I'm glad that you're supportive of Babs X Luka! It is definitely good that Clark and Bruce working together to help Ellie has your interest. Ellie and Danny indeed have a lot to catch up on.
Lilyofthestars: I'm glad that you liked it! I'll try to come up with a ship name for them at some point, lol! I definitely have some fun plans to unleash upon Vlad and the GIW. That is an interesting idea for how to include Desiree. I'll have to think about it.

Paris, France
Three familiar vultures could be found resting on the Eiffel Tower. They had yet to leave the city of Paris due to enjoying themselves a little too much. Sure Plasmius was waiting for them to return, but he didn't have to know why they were taking so long. The apparent leader of the trio grabbed a croissant, gobbling it up like the bird he was. He noticed a shadow cast over him as he had his face to the ground.
"Would ya mind passing me the jelly?" questioned the buzzard. He looked up, only to notice that his two companions were suddenly standing very attentively. He slowly turned his head, only to see a very ticked off Plasmius. The vulture squawked in fear as he tried to fly away, only for the halfa to grab him by the throat. He was turned towards the aggressor as Vlad let loose an evil smirk.
"Hello boys," greeted the villain. "I see you've taken quite the vacation after the Fentons left. You better have one heck of an explanation, or else I will splatter you across every inch of this city." The vultures gulped as Vlad's free hand became coated in ecto-plasm. One of them held up a wing as he thought of something.
"The kid has a girlfriend!" cried the creature. He had a ghost ray launched at him as a result, forcing him to dodge. Vlad's expression had turned into one of annoyance as he glared at the birds.
"I already know about his little game of obliviousness with Samantha! You were supposed to bring me information, not sit around scarfing scones!" The other vulture quickly waved his wings in a defensive manner.
"No!" cried the third bird. "He has an actual girlfriend here in the city! He calls her Jules and even asked her out himself! It was honestly romantic until Skulker attacked them." This caused Vlad to pause and think a bit before smirking evilly.
"Oh really? Now that is interesting. Still, not enough information to save you from my wrath." The one in his grasp wriggled a bit as he tried to get to where he could talk. "What is it, you buzzard?" Vlad loosened his grip a bit to let the creature speak.
"There are Miraculous in Paris!" cried the bird. "Magical artifacts of great power!" He was suddenly dropped as Vlad created duplicates of himself. It was clear that the halfa was done playing with them as he had them surrounded. Somehow the evil smirk he gave off became even darker as he leaned forward.
"Interesting. Please, do tell me more."
A cry of fear filled the air as people ran away from a movie theater. The building suddenly folded in on itself as it began to fuse with something inside. The result was a massive stone wyvern with glowing white lights in its cracks. Standing on the wyvern's head was a humanoid figure completely made of stone, a slot on its chest having a movie ticket slightly sticking out of it. The individual laughed, though he did not have a visible mouth to produce this sound.
"They called my favorite movie a landslide of a failure!" cried the villain of the week. "Now I, StoneMelder, shall craft this world into a land where it is the best and only film! Once I have Ladybug and Chat Noir's Miraculous, Hawkmoth will…" His words were cut off as a birdarang stabbed itself into one of the cracks on the wyvern.
It beeped multiple times before exploding, sending the stone villain falling off of his steed. The dragon roared as it looked for its target, only for a humanoid figure to crash into it. The figure was revealed to be Connor, the boy currently acting as Superboy for the team. He punched the dragon's head a few more times, causing it to break apart. The creature's body fell to the ground with a mighty crash as it fell into pieces.
"Well I'm glad that it didn't magically resist my strength," commented the clone boy. "That would have been a lot harder." He heard a growl as the road nearby began to be drawn in. StoneMelder pulled the asphalt together as he made it into a small army of stone soldiers. The villain growled as he turned towards the hero.
"No fair!" cried the man. "I wasn't ready!" He heard a buzzing sound above him, causing him to look up. Ladybug and Honey Bee were flying in the air above him, frowns on their faces. Ladybug readied her yoyo as she kept her eye on the villain.
"Then you really aren't ready for the rest of us," stated the lead hero of Paris. Chat Noir soon jumped down from the nearby roof, being joined by Pegasus and Purple Tigress. Nightwing rode in on a motorcycle, skidding it to a stop before dismounting it. The group remained in place as the villain looked around at them. He wouldn't get to exclaim his attack yet, however, as a few more individuals made their presence known.
A girl with green skin, amber eyes, and shoulder length red hair flew into view. She wore a long-sleeved black suit with a red X on it, black shoes, and a blue cape. This was Miss Martian, the aptly named girl clenching her fists as she looked at the villain. She floated next to Superboy, the two looking at each other as if they were talking. The sight of the duo alone made the akuma shake a bit.
The second new arrival was a blonde haired man with blue eyes, fair skin, and a scruffy goatee. He wore a brown trench coat, a white dress shirt, a black tie, black jeans, white socks, and black loafers. This was John Constantine, a man known well among the JL and those magically inclined for his work with the occult. The man pulled out a cigarette and snapped his fingers to make a flame. He took a puff of the smoke before pulling the object out of his mouth.
"These bloody supervillains and their terrible naming schemes," grumbled the blonde man. "This Hawk Doth or whatever he's called really needs to see a dictionary." This taunting drew the anger of StoneMelder as he gestured to his artificial army.
"Mock me at your own peril!" cried the villain. "Attack them and bring me the Miraculous!" The stone warriors rushed forwards, weapons of varying kinds raised over their heads. The team soon split up in order to take on these stone warriors. Constantine stood in one place as two warriors came at him, sighing as he held his hand up.
He spoke in some manner of unintelligible language, causing a dark energy to appear around his eyes as a black blast of energy hit the two stone warriors. The blast caused them to fall apart, allowing him time to pop his neck. He watched as three warriors tried to jump Superboy, only to get demolished as the hero used a bench to hit them all at once. One of the warriors was about to try and stab the young hero in the back when Miss Martian grabbed it from behind and tossed it towards a flying pair of birdarangs. The objects exploded, causing the statue to be reduced to rubble.
As this was happening, Purple Tigress and Honey Bee were working together against four of the stone warriors. Purple Tigress struck one with her bola, breaking its arm off with a single strike. This allowed Honey Bee to swoop in and break it with a powerful kick to the head. The bee themed hero then used her top to take out another one with a very similar blow. Juleka quickly watched as two of the stone warriors leapt at her companion. She got an idea as she spun her bola around.
"Bee!" cried the Tigress. "Swing me!" She launched the end of her bola at Honey Bee, allowing the girl to grab it. The blonde spun around in the air, slinging the tigress hero through the air as her kick and the momentum broke the stone warriors. They finally stopped as soon as the dust settled, Purple Tigress stumbling a bit as she landed on her feet.
"Are you alright?" questioned Chloe as she floated down. "I spun a bit fast there." Juleka took a bit to find her footing, worrying the bee girl a bit more. The model girl turned to Chloe with a small smirk as she nodded her head. The duo took a moment before rushing off to meet up with the others.
Down below, Nightwing was working with Ladybug and Chat Noir as they got closer to the stone villain. The Gothamite quickly pulled out his staff as he twirled it around, blocking attacks from a few weapons. Chat Noir, watching this, quickly copied him as he also blocked weapon attacks. He continued to copy the foreign hero's movements as if this were a combat lesson. He watched Nightwing send him a small smirk and a nod of his head.
"Good," complimented Nightwing. "Work on that form more. I'll teach you some new moves when we have our next training session." He watched as the cat hero eagerly grinned as his fake tail wagged a bit. They were interrupted as Ladybug quickly threw one of the stone warriors into a large group of the others.
"Fight now, talk later," reminded the lead hero of Paris. Both boys nodded in response to her words as the three of them rushed forward. StoneMelder congealed some nearby stone into a giant hand as he tried to squash the trio, only for a cigarette to hit his body. He suddenly became paralyzed as magical energy sprouted from the object and wrapped around him. John Constantine harrumphed from his spot as he looked away.
"Waste of a perfectly good cig if ya ask me," groaned the man. The three heroes that were running for the villain slowed their movement as they watched him try to move. Ladybug looked back to Miss Martian with a frown.
'Try to get into Hawkmoth's head through him!' cried Marinette over a mental channel. 'We could find out who he is that way!' Miss Martian quickly nodded her head as she floated closer to the villain. She put her hands on her temples as she tried to focus on the villain's mind. She seemed to be getting somewhere before the butterfly moniker formed over StoneMelder's head and caused the heroine to gasp as she clasped her head in pain.
"He cut me off the moment I started to get into his mind," informed the Martian. "I think his Miraculous acted as a safeguard." Before she could say anymore, the group watched as a familiar purple energy washed over the villain. He turned into a regular man as he fell to the ground, the Akuma flying out of one of his tickets. Constantine frowned as he pointed towards the insect.
"Stop it before it can corrupt anyone else!" cried the blonde man. Ladybug frowned as she opened her yoyo as usual. She quickly flew after the butterfly as it tried to fly off. She suddenly threw her weapon at it, catching it inside.
"Gotcha!" cried Marinette. She fluttered in place as she opened the yoyo, allowing the butterfly within to fly out. "Bye-bye little butterfly." She quickly flew back to the others as Miss Martian and Superboy were helping the akumatized victim to calm down. She landed before the group as Honey Bee let loose a cheer.
"Best fight yet!" cheered the blonde heroine. "We made Hawkmoth run off and ended things with minimum property damage! I say that counts as a big win!" Marinette smirked as she nodded her head. Nightwing quickly stepped over with a different expression, however.
"We also had a loss as we learned Miss Martian can't try to read Hawkmoth's mind through akuma victims," revealed the Gothamite. "We'll have to keep our ear to the ground and look through several sources. From what Batman told me of his conversation with the guardian we need to open up our search to those who were akumatized before. It's still possible that Hawkmoth could have akumatized himself to throw off the scent." He watched Ladybug frown at this as she looked down.
"I have some possible working theories, but nothing I think I can share right now," replied the Parisian hero. She looked to the nearby damaged areas as her frown deepened. "I'll summon a Lucky Charm to undo the damage. Lucky Charm!"
She threw her yoyo into the air, causing the usual swarm of butterflies to appear. They formed into an object before falling back towards her. She caught it in her hands, only to frown as she looked it over. "A thermos?" Chat looked like he had a pun to say, only for Purple Tigress to look at the object with a serious frown.
"That looks more like the Fenton Thermos created by Fenton Works," commented Juleka. "I have a bad feeling if your Miraculous gave you that to use." The group looked around, trying to find any signs of trouble. Constantine thought he saw something, only for it to quickly disappear. Nightwing frowned as he clenched his fists.
"Use the Miraculous cure and buddy up," ordered the Gothamite. "If you know a secret identity then go with that person. Don't split up unless absolutely necessary. I'll contact Phantom and see how fast he can get here." He watched Marinette nod her head before she reared her arm back.
"Miraculous Ladybug!" cried the ladybug themed hero. Once again the swarm flew all over the city, reversing the damage that was done. As soon as that was over the group split up, Honey Bee and Purple Tigress immediately followed Marinette through the city. Chat Noir ran off by himself, though Miss Martian seemed to follow him as she made herself invisible. Nightwing soon ran off with Superboy, leaving John Constantine on his own. The blonde man looked like he was about to light a cigar, only for him to look off in a seemingly random direction.
"Next time you think invisibility can hide you, try hiding from someone who can't see ghosts," threatened the man. He launched an Eldritch Blast at something nearby, hitting one of the ghost buzzards. He frowned as he watched it fall to the ground. "There's no way you're what I saw earlier." He felt the hairs on the back of his head stand up as he suddenly dodged to the right, avoiding a pink ghost ray.
"You are rather perceptive, for a deadbeat," stated a malevolent voice. Constantine turned around, soon locking eyes with Plasmius. The villain floated in midair as he had a smug grin on his face. "From what I've heard around the Ghost Zone, I can only presume you are Johnathan Constantine." The blonde hero groaned as he popped his back.
"You must be one of those Amity Park spirits. Ya look like yer trying to rip off Dracula's style." This insult caused Vlad to frown as if he was hurt by the accusation.
"You are the second person to say that." The villain quickly regained his composure as he let loose another dastardly grin. "It will be your last mistake once I get my hands on the Miraculous. I'll make my ultimate wish come true, and there will be no drawbacks like with Desiree." John Constantine quickly muttered the chant under his breath again, causing dark energy to form in his hand.
"You obviously don't read, ya bloody idiot. All I need is ta get you to stay still so I can send ya back where you belong." He quickly fired the eldritch blast at Plasmius, his aim being rather well. The villain tried to use some form of pink ecto-shield, only for the blast to nearly crack it. The spirit growled as he realized that this wouldn't be as easy as he thought it'd be. He was forced to dodge as Constantine fired another blast that shattered his shield.
Meanwhile, Chat Noir was halfway to his destination when his cat ears twitched a bit. Something in the back of his head told him to move as he dodged a pink ghost ray. He prepared his staff as he saw Vlad floating before him.
"Looks like Purple Tigress was right to be worried about that Lucky Charm," stated the cat hero. "So either you followed Phantom or you ghosted Amity Park because he kept kicking your butt. I have a pretty good feline either way." Plasmius didn't even say anything as he fired another blast at the cat hero, forcing him to dodge once again. The villain groaned as he rubbed his temples.
"And of course he's another clown like Daniel," groaned Plasmius. "What is it with young heroes and their puns?" He was caught off guard when Chat Noir smacked the side of his head with his staff. The villain crashed into a nearby building, growling as he looked towards his attacker. He was forced to go intangible and fly up in order to avoid another strike.
He fired another attack at Chat, though the young hero quickly spun his staff in a shielding manner in order to deflect it. Plasmius quickly wrapped himself in his cape, disappearing in a pink and green mist. Chat Noir looked around in an attempt to find his opponent, unaware that the villain reformed behind him. Plasmius was about to hit Chat when he felt something grab hold of him. He was suddenly spun around before being flung onto the roof, Miss Martian making her presence known as she floated in the air.
"Probably because they make great distractions," answered the Martian. She used her powers to grab Vlad again before flinging him back into the same wall Chat smacked him into. The villain growled at this, only to smirk as he fired a ghost ray at Miss Martian. The girl dodged out of the way, only for the villain to rush forward and grab her by her suit. She tried to get a look into his head, only for him to hit her with a strange pink lightning attack that caused her great pain.
"Paws off!" cried Chat Noir. Plasmius only had a short time to look as the cat hero leapt forward with his arm reared back. "Cataclysm!" The villain tried to go intangible, only for the dark energy to still affect him as Chat rammed through the space he occupied. Plasmius cried out in pain as he began to melt, revealing that he was a clone of some form as even the goop that made him up dissipated.
Miss Martian took a moment to breathe as Chat ran over to her. "Are you alright?" The Martian nodded her head in response, earning a sigh of relief from the cat hero. "Good. I might have been a bit cruel there but I don't think that ghost was gonna stop." Miss Martian shook her head in denial at this notion.
"I was able to look far enough into his mind to see that this was a clone. The real one went after Ladybug and the girls. They're still in danger!" This news caused Chat's eyes to widen in shock and concern. He and Miss Martian quickly took off in an attempt to aid the others, hoping that they weren't too late.
Amity Park, Illinois
Danny was in the midst of reading over his math textbook when he felt a pain in his chest. It was like something terrible was happening. He couldn't shake the feeling, so he decided to go for a walk around the manor. The more he moved, the more anxious he became. He finally stopped in the kitchen area as Jason looked his way.
"What's got you all wound up?" questioned the Red Hood. "You look like someone just kicked your puppy or something." Jason watched Danny look his way as the boy gestured to the area around them.
"I just feel like something bad is happening," revealed the halfa. "Like there's somewhere I need to be right now." Jason was about to put his two cents in, only for Danny's phone to go off. The ghost boy pulled the device out, only to frown as he recognized the emergency number. "Nightwing."
Danny immediately answered, being met with a video call of Dick in uniform. "What's the situation?" The sound of Connor crying out in pain caught Danny's attention as Dick took a second to look back before looking at the camera again.
"We're under attack by a blue humanoid specter who looks similar to a vampire," revealed the hero. "He has red eyes and a white suit. His hair is pointed like large devil horns." Danny trembled as his eyes began to glow blue. He hissed as his hair started to stand up without his transformation.
"Plasmius." Danny looked down at his phone screen with a growl. "He must have found out about the Miraculous. If you have any anti-ecto tech then don't hesitate to use it. He's a halfa like me so he should revert back with enough damage, but he can duplicate himself and has a different set of powers so you need to be very careful. He will not hesitate to kill any of you."
Danny immediately swapped to his ghost form as he placed the phone on the counter. "I'm going to fly over as fast as I can as the WatchTower Boom Tubes would take too long. Regroup with the others and stay together." The boy didn't wait for a response as he hung up. He then went intangible as he flew through the roof, his take off creating a rather strong yet short gust to send papers around him flying.
Paris, France
Ladybug and Honey Bee were flying through the air as Purple Tigress jumped from rooftop to rooftop. The trio kept their eyes open, not wanting to be jumped by whatever the Lucky Charm warned them about. They hadn't heard anything from the others yet, meaning that a real situation was going on. They had to get to the safe meeting point, a place they set up so that a villain couldn't follow them back to their homes. The trio were approaching said location when two of the Vulture ghosts suddenly started to gain speed on them.
"Go for the ones with easy Miraculouses!" cried the vulture on the left. "Leave the little girlfriend for Plasmius!" The two birds dove towards the flying heroes, their talons at the ready. The left one grabbed Honey Bee by her shoulders, throwing off her trajectory as he pulled her along. Ladybug was about to fly over to help, only to notice the incoming vulture and dodge.
The ladybug heroine quickly unleashed her yoyo as she spun it around, waiting for the villainous bird to circle back around. The bird readied his talons for another grab, only for Ladybug to wrap him up and throw him at Honey Bee. The bee themed hero saw this coming and struggled more, causing her captor to look down at her. "Hold still! I can't peck your Miraculous off if you…"
"LOOK OUT!" cried the second vulture. The one attacking Honey Bee only had a moment to look up as the other vulture crashed into him, forcing him to release his catch. Honey Bee began to fall as she fluttered her wings, soon able to get back to where she was hovering. She flew backwards towards Ladybug to make sure she was okay. The main Parisian hero was about to say something when her earrings gave off a short array of beeps.
"I'm almost out of charge," revealed Ladybug. "I need you guys to hold them off as long as you can so that I can feed Tiki." She watched Honey Bee send her a nod as the vultures began to approach again.
"We've got this, LB," reassured the bee themed heroine. "Go." She did not wait to see how their leader reacted to her words as she prepared her spinning top. One of the vultures flew faster than the other in an attempt to grab her, only for the girl to hit him in the face with her weapon. The second one avoided the top and its incoming pal by going intangible, only to become wrapped up by Purple Tigress's bola as soon as it returned to normal.
"Peck on this!" cried the tigress hero. She slung the bird into the ground, causing it to cry out in pain. She spun it around before launching it at its ally, causing them to crash once again. Honey Bee was about to fly after the birds to finish this mess, only to be hit with a ghost ray that sent her flying. "Honey Bee!" Juleka turned towards her friend's assailant, only for Vlad to grab her by her throat and lift her up.
"By process of elimination, you must be the reportedly lovely Juleka," greeted the villain. The tigress hero's eyes widened as Vlad floated upwards with her. "From what those buzzards told me you and Daniel have become rather smitten with each other. I will admit that this mask makes it rather difficult to see what he finds so interesting. Let's get that Miraculous off and find out, shall we?" He was about to reach for the bracelet on the girl's arm before she clenched her fist.
"Hands off, creep!" Instead of attacking with her hand, Purple Tigress hit Vlad with a kick to the gut. The kick was hard enough to actually knock the wind out of the halfa, making him drop his quarry. The girl quickly grabbed her bola as she swung it at the man, only for him to become intangible as the weapon passed right through him. This was partially what she wanted, however, as the end of her weapon wrapped around a nearby structure.
Vlad attempted to shoot a ghost ray at her, only for the girl to use the object to slingshot herself away from the ghost. Juleka spun around before landing on the ground, quickly running the opposite direction of where Marinette went. Plasmius smirked as he watched her run.
"This should be fun." The villain took off in a burst of speed, quickly gaining ground on his target. Honey Bee quickly stood up from where she crashed into a wall, groaning as she rubbed her head. She looked in the direction she was hit from, watching as Plasmius chased after her companion. Her eyes widened as she readied her wings.
"Tigress!" cried Chloe. She flew into the air with the intention to follow along, only to be tackled by both ghost vultures at once. They sent her crashing to the roof as one of them grabbed her hands and flew to where he had her hands behind her back.
"Hurry up and get the Miraculous!" cried the bird ghost. "I can't keep this up all day!" The second vulture was about to peck her comb out of her hair, only for it to turn blue as something began to pull it away.
"Darn human tech!" cried the vulture. It was suddenly pulled into a small cube-like device, the suction still occurring. Chloe took this moment to find her inner strength, twisting to where the ghost holding her arms would be sucked into the device. She huffed as her arms moved back into position, the cube closing as there was no more ectoplasm for it to detect. Nightwing walked over as he picked up the box, putting it away in a utility pouch.
"Batman really went to work on improving the Fenton tech," commented the Gothamite. He helped Honey Bee up, allowing her to rest her arms. "You alright? Where are the others?" He watched as the blonde looked towards him with a serious frown.
"Ladybug went to recharge, but another ghost took off after Purple Tigress," revealed the bee themed hero. "We have to hurry as he hits a lot harder than those ridiculous buzzards." Nightwing nodded as he grabbed a grappling gun from his belt.
"I've messaged Ladybug to follow the signal of my communicator. She'll meet up with us as soon as she can." Honey Bee only gave him a nod in response before taking off into the air. Dick quickly grappled a nearby roof before zipping off. With any luck they'd catch up to Plasmius in time.
Halfway between Paris and the US, Phantom was flying over the ocean as fast as he possibly could. He had to remain intangible as he flew through several aircraft and birds, being invisible for the aircrafts so as to not frighten anyone. The air around him got colder as he felt something within him urge him to go faster. He couldn't quite explain it, but he had to find Juleka and fast. The image of her as Purple Tigress running from Vlad flashed in his mind, causing him to use his ice blades to help cut through the air and increase his speed.
Back in Paris, Purple Tigress continued her run as her enemy slowly caught up to her. She would sometimes whip something to throw back at the villain, only for him to either blast it or raise some form of shield against it. The feline hero used her bola to take another tight turn, using it once again to pull herself forward. She looked behind herself in order to see if she lost her opponent, only to bump into something. She looked up as she saw that Plasmius had already blocked her path.
"I do enjoy this little game of cat and mouse, but I am on a bit of a schedule," stated the evil halfa. "Once I have the Miraculous, I will make my greatest wish come true." He once again grabbed her by her throat, this time holding her out from him. "Oh but don't worry about your relationship with Daniel. After all, I only want the best for my family."
He reached for her hand with the Miraculous on it, his evil grin growing larger. Juleka tried to fight back, though she couldn't reach to hit the man. She squinted her eyes as she tried to move her arms back enough.
'DANNY!' cried the girl in her head. Something began to shine through her suit, as if it was left unchanged by the transformation caused by her Miraculous. Vlad looked towards this source of light, watching as the tiger pin Danny gave her forced its way to the surface. The pin suddenly began to shake as if it had taken on a life of its own. The mouth depicted on the object moved as if it were taking a deep breath.
"What the…?" Vlad's question was cut off as the pin actually unleashed a massive roar. The force was enough to send Plasmius flying backwards and for the windows nearby to shatter. Juleka landed on the ground, groaning as she rubbed her butt. The tiger pin floated off of her chest as ice suddenly began to form around it.
Once the ice stopped expanding, the frozen mass fell to the ground with a hard thud. Vlad looked towards the area with a growl, only for his eyes to widen at the beast that now stood before him. The pin had transformed into a tiger made of ice, the creature standing at the size of a brown bear. Its stripes, eyes, and claws were green from the paint that Danny had frozen to complete the creation of the pin. Ghostly energy overtook the claws and fangs of the beast as it glared at the villain.
The beast suddenly unleashed another roar, this time coating the area in front of it in ice. "Oh butter biscuits!" Vlad quickly flew up, avoiding the chilling blast. To his utter shock, the tiger flew after him. The beast slashed at him, forcing him to split in half in order to avoid the attack.
He tried to electrify the beast as he reconnected himself, only to watch as it bit his hand. He cried out in pain as it suddenly ran with him across the city. The tiger continuously crashed Vlad into buildings, sometimes tossing him around like he was a rope toy. The beast finally let go as it unleashed another roar. Vlad raised his shield, watching as ice quickly formed over it.
Purple Tigress stepped out from the alleyway as she looked towards the fight, still shocked that her pin actually transformed into a ferocious beast. Said creature returned as it pounced Vlad into the ground. The beast looked ready to end the fight, only for it to look upwards. It suddenly glowed as it turned back into a pin, quickly returning to Juleka's chest and hiding under her hero suit. Vlad coughed as he slowly stood up, revealing several cuts and bruises on him.
He growled as he looked towards Juleka, only to smirk evilly. "Looks like your little pet ran out of time. All the easier to…" The villain took a step forward, only for an ice blade to land in front of him. He looked up, his eyes widening as he gazed upon a rather enraged Danny.
"This ends now, Vlad," growled the ice halfa. "You can either surrender and come quietly, or I can finish what the tiger started." Danny waited for a response, only to notice Vlad's nervous smile.
"So, you really did undergo a core evolution. Something extremely rare amongst ghosts. I would say congratulations are in order." The villain prepared a ghost ray behind his back, an evil smirk now on his face. "My gift to you… is a parting shot!"
He fired the blast at Danny, only for the boy to bring up his ice shield. To Vlad's shock, the blast was actually ricocheted right back at him. He was forced to dodge out of the way of his own attack. Phantom was quickly on him with a reared back fist, ghostly energy formed in it. The hero struck his target, sending the villain backwards with a powerful pulse.
Vlad crashed into a building, only to quickly fly away as two ice axes crashed into where he once was. He tried to fly up and away from the boy, only to be surprised as said opponent was already above him. This time Phantom hit his opponent with a freezing ice ray from his eyes, nearly missing as he only froze part of the man's hair. The ice was heavy enough to where it actually dragged the evil ghost back down, forcing him to crash into the ground. Phantom readied his blades for a strike, only to watch as his enemy disappeared.
"You can run but you can't hide, Vlad!" The boy looked around, using his ghost sense to try and locate his energy. His ghost breath activated as a shadow cast over him. Vlad had appeared behind him, a ghost ray ready to fire. Before the villain could act on his attack, however, a familiar bola wrapped around his ankle.
"Get away from mon Fantôme!" roared Purple Tigress. She pulled with all of her might, slinging Plasmius to where he landed on the ground with a painful thud. Vlad tried to fire his attack at the girl, only for her to get up in his face with her fist reared back. "CLOUT!" Her fist rammed against his face, causing him to cry out in pain as he was sent flying backwards.
He rolled across the ground as black rings moved up and down his form. He had reverted to his human form, revealing that he actually had tan skin and white hair that was pulled back into a ponytail. He finally stopped rolling, revealing his blue eyes as he glared towards the young duo. He stood up from his fallen position, showing off his attire. He was wearing a black suit with a red handkerchief in his left breast pocket, a red bolo tie, a white undershirt, and black pointed shoes. Vlad looked down at himself, growling before he turned his attention to the heroes.
"So you managed to make me human again," stated the rich man. "My powers will be back sooner than you can expect. If I could ruin Daniel's life in one moment, how do you think a normal child would last after telling someone my secret? All it would take is a payment to the right person and your little secret is out for this Hawk Moth to find." Danny growled as he stood between Vlad and Juleka, his eyes going fully blue.
"Listen well, Vlad," began Phantom. "If anything happens to Juleka and I find out you're responsible, there won't be a future for you. I will banish you to the deepest and darkest parts of the ghost zone, frozen forever just to watch life go by without you. No one will even remember you existed." Danny watched as Vlad actually began to cackle like a madman.
"That's rather dark coming from you, Daniel. You can't even deal with me permanently without your own secret being shared or a worldwide manhunt for the 'Evil Ghost boy' ensuing. No one would ever believe that Amity Park's beloved mayor is a horrifying ghost and, as long as our little threat of mutual destruction is in play, no one will know even after I've won." The villain was about to step forward, only for the sound of a clicking lighter to catch his attention. He slowly turned around, being met by the other heroes.
"The Justice League definitely will believe it," stated Nightwing. "Unless you wanna take all of us on, I suggest you surrender now. No matter how strong you are, you can't take on all of us at once. We took care of your duplicates, so it'll take a while for you to build back up the ectoplasm if our resident ghost expert is correct." Vlad growled in anger as he clenched his fists.
"I suppose this is a nasty situation." Vlad smirked as the black rings formed around him again. "Next time, you will not be so fortunate. Having more obstacles only makes things more interesting." The villain transformed into Plasmius before wrapping himself up in his own cape, disappearing in a cloud of smoke. It was clear that he was gone for good this time as Danny let loose a sigh.
"You guys hopefully won't be seeing him again for a long time," stated the halfa. "You'll want to gather up more ghost tech in case he comes back or another ghost decides they want the Miraculous." Dick nodded as he crossed his arms.
"It would probably also be good in case Hawkmoth makes an akuma with ghost powers. I'll call Batman to send over more ghost tech, right after Ladybug uses her Lucky Charm." Danny nodded as the Gothamite turned to the others. The halfa turned towards Tigress, noticing how she was smiling at him. He quickly placed his arms around her waist as he pulled her closer.
"You alright, Ma Tigresse? Vlad didn't hurt you, did he?" The ghost boy watched Juleka wrap her arms around his shoulders as she smiled up at him.
"Thanks to that pin of yours I am, mon Fantôme," answered the tigress themed hero. "You really like protecting me, don't you?" Danny chuckled as he shook his head in denial.
"I wish I thought of that, but I didn't know it'd come to life. I'm definitely adding it to the new powers list. Can't say I'm complaining though, seeing as it kept the most important girl in the world safe." His goofiness had his girlfriend giggling as he rested his forehead against hers. A familiar scene washed over the city as ladybugs set about restoring the damage done by the battle.
A familiar blinking caused the duo to part a bit. Juleka looked at her Miraculous, noticing how low on charge she already was. Danny smirked as he got an idea. "You'd have to buy this time, but I think I have enough time for a quick snack under the Eiffel Tower if you'd like that." The tigress hero smiled at her boyfriend as she nodded her head.
"I think I'd like that." The duo shared a quick smooch on the lips before Danny picked up Juleka bridal style. He took off away from the area, leaving behind a slight trail of snow. The ice melted before it could even hit the ground, flowing back towards the others. John Constantine smirked as he looked in the direction the couple departed in.
"Bloody teenagers," chuckled the magical man. "They forgot the rest of us were here too."
And that's the chapter! Vlad decided to take a trip to Paris and learned about the Miraculous and Juleka. He then chose to attack after an Akuma was dealt with, though he underestimated the tenacity of the heroes. Juleka's tiger pin came to life in order to defend her, giving Danny enough time to arrive and lay down some justice. Only time will tell how far Vlad will go to obtain the Miraculous.
