After dancing with her biological father, Cecily kissed him on the cheek... Vince smiled at her. John walked over to them, and Vince acknowledged him and shook his hand.
"Take good care of Cecily, or I will have your head," Vince joked with him.
Cecily and John smiled because they knew he was joking with them.
"No worry, Vince, Cecily is in good hands with me," John said with a smile.
John and Cecily got to the honeymoon suite upstairs. After closing the door, John pulled Cecily to him and kissed her. It lasted a few moments before she pulled back a little.
"I love that I am now officially your wife."
John smiled brightly. "And I love that I am now officially your husband." He kissed her again. They separated after another moment. "Wow, your staff did a beautiful job."
Cecily smiled.
"Did I mention that you looked even more beautiful today?"
"No, but I saw your eyes after they opened the doors, and you saw me."
John chuckled. "Sorry, my love, but you look so gorgeous now."
"Thank you, babe."
"You're welcome, baby."
"Seeing you and your dad walk down the aisle to me was a dream. I knew our life was about to get even better."
"You can count on that," she kissed him again, and after a moment, he moved her toward the main bedroom inside over to the king-size bed.
Vince, please open the door, allowing Linda to enter the house first, then he will follow her inside. He closed the door behind him and then locked it. Vince set the alarm on the house.
"Cecily looks gorgeous in her wedding dress," Linda said, taking off her coat, and Vince took her jacket.
"Yes, Cecily looks gorgeous. Savannah spent a lot of money on Cecily's wedding dress," Vince said, hanging up Linda's coat, then took off his jacket and hung up.
Linda chuckled. "Like I said, "I am positive that Savannah is spending a fortune on Cecily's wedding now that Cecily is her only biological child."
Vince chuckled. "Yes… Thank you, honey."
Linda looked at him and smiled. "You are thanking me for accepting Cecily."
"Yes, I am. You didn't have to accept Cecily into our family, but you did."
"True. A part of me hates that Cecily is not my biological child, but she is part of you, and I love you because you have changed your way, Vince. And I know if the role were reversed, you would accept my child."
Vince walked over to her and kissed gently on her lips. "Now, let's go get some sleep."
"Yes,, we have some of a long day."
Linda and Vince head to bed at DeLorenzo's house; Savannah is in the nursery of her granddaughter Sara, watching her sleep in her crib. Carlos walked into the nursery and over to the crib.
"You do okay, Bella?"
Savannah smiled. "Yes, I am fine."
"I noticed you watched Cecily dancing with her father?"
"And"
"Savannah"
"I am not comforted with him being a part of her life, honey. He did nothing for her while she was growing up, and he has threatened my son-in-law on more than one occasion, honey."
"True, but Cecily knows how to handle her biological father, honey."
"I know, but still, he doesn't deserve to be a part of our daughter and granddaughter's lives."
"I know, honey, but be civil with him for Cecily and Sara's sake."
"I will for them, but his wife Linda is innocent. I feel bad for her, knowing that she suffered a miscarriage like I did for getting pregnant. I honestly believe that is why my husband left me."
"Well, he was an idiot, baby,"
"Yes, and I've been told by an employee of mine that he is now homeless in Miami, Florida."
"I didn't know my best friend at all, but his loss is my gain," Carlos said, smiling at his wife."
"True, my love. It seems that you and I picked some real wins."
'Yes, my wife hid her addiction to drugs until Carlos Jr. found her unconscious and called me. I called 911 and rushed home to EMS, talking to Carlos Jr., who then asked me questions. But they were too late. She was dead."
"I know, honey. I'll help you with Carlos Jr."
"Yes, then I came to find out that my wife is not only a drug addict but a gambling problem as well as a sex addiction."
Savannah hugged her husband and said, "Come, let's go to bed; before we know, this little one here will be up looking to eat."
John held Cecily in his arms at the Delgado Hotel honeymoon suite and lightly stroked her around a few times.
"Today was perfect," Cecily said lazily.
John chuckled. "I agree. It couldn't have gone better. Though as long as you and I became husband and wife, it would have been perfect."
Cecily giggles. "That's true."
He moved a little to kiss her. " You're the love of my life, and I'm going to spend every day showing you how much I love you."
Cecily smiled. "I'm looking forward to that,"
He kissed her and then laid her down again.
