On a normal day, Dawn, as usual, was looking for a Pokemon to catch it. And then she saw Luxio.
Dawn held the Pokeball in her hand, ready to throw it. She saw Luxio notice her and run towards her, her heart skipping a beat with excitement. She knew this could be her chance to catch this Pokémon.
She threw and the Pokéball darted towards Luxio. The Pokemon tried to dodge, but the Pokeball hit its target. Luxio froze in place and Dawn smiled, feeling that victory was close. But suddenly Luxio began to glow. Its body began to glow with a bright blue light, which only meant that she was unable to fully catch this Pokemon, and it released a powerful electric discharge, hitting Dawn in the chest. She flew backwards, falling off the cliff and hitting her head on the ground. Dawn lay on the ground, unable to move. She felt blood oozing from her head. She couldn't believe this happened. She failed.
Luxio walked up to Dawn and looked at her with his big, sparkling eyes. He seemed both angry and sad. He then turned and ran away, at which point Dawn passed out. After Dawn regained consciousness, she saw a man standing in front of her, who was of average height, with dark hair and brown eyes, he was wearing a uniform similar to a spacesuit in white and black colors, and on his chest was a large letter G. In appearance the man seemed kind and compassionate.
Who you are? What happened? - Dawn asked, trying to sit up. My head was pounding with pain.
"Don't rush to get up," the man stopped her. – My name is Rivay, I'm from Team Galactic. You fell off a cliff. How are you feeling? What do you remember?
Dawn closed her eyes, trying to collect her thoughts. But nothing worked out for her. "I don't think I remember anything," Dawn admitted honestly.
Rivay looked at the girl thoughtfully. Amnesia could have played into his hands
Rivay said with a benevolently sly smile. -Your name is Dawn and I just accompanied you to the Galactic team base. Since you are our newest recruit.
Dawn looked at Rivay in surprise.
- Really? What kind of organization is yours and why did I want to join it?
Rivay decided to answer her. I'm surprised you forgot everything. Team Galactic is a criminal organization that provides protection to all criminals who join it. We search for and catch Pokemon to experiment on them. And you are accused of trying to catch and illegally resell Pokemon, and also of mistreating them. You can't deny this since there are many witnesses who saw how you treated Pokémon cruelly.
After the commander's words, Dawn began to have conflicting thoughts. And after a few seconds Dawn said
– Am I really a bad person and how could I treat Pokémon so badly?
Rivay said with a grin.
"Let's face it, Dawn. You don't remember what happened, so you can't say you're innocent. You can't prove that you didn't try to catch and illegally resell Pokemon. You can't prove that you didn't mistreat them.
Dawn greeted his words with bewilderment and despair:
- But I can't believe I'm capable of this.
Rivay, maintaining his grin, continued to explain the situation:
- All people can do bad things, even if they don't want to. You're just in a difficult situation. You need to make a decision that is best for you.
With doubt in her voice, Dawn asked a question, trying to understand their way out of this difficult situation:
-What do you mean?
Rivay, again emphasizing his point, responded with unshakable confidence:
Either you join Team Galactic and we will give you a new life, or you will go to prison for a long time.
The girl decided to agree to Rivay's proposal because she did not want to go to prison.
-Well, I basically have no choice anyway, so I agree
After these words, Rivay decided to help Dawn get to her feet.
-I'm glad you made the right decision.
Rising to my feet. Dawn still had a really bad headache. She decided to see what was in her pockets. Not finding anything, she decided to ask Rivay
- Since I trained Pokemon, why don't I have anything with me?
Rivay decided to pretend that Dawn had asked something obvious to him.
- Well, of course, you shouldn't have anything, because when you are arrested, all the pokeballs are taken away so that you cannot escape, and of course, thanks to me, you are here, and not in a cell.
After these words, both went to the base of Team Galactic, because of the pain, it was difficult for Dawn to think and navigate in space, so she simply followed Rivay to the base of Team Galactic.
Approaching the base, Dawn saw a cave in front of her, and after they entered it. Approaching the rock, Rivay pulled some kind of lever, and part of the stone surface suddenly moved to the side. Behind it was a secret room, inside of which there was a platform similar to an elevator. Dawn followed the commander in surprise, the door closed, and the platform went down.
After a while, the doors slid open, revealing a futuristic corridor with bright white walls.
All furniture was also made in a futuristic style. It would seem that the main corridor led to the exit from the base, but surprisingly there were no people here, with the exception of a few people who were minding their own business. Dawn followed the commander and examined the interior of the room with interest. She was also surprised that everyone wore the same clothes.
Surprised, Dawn decided to ask the commander
- Why is there practically no one here?
The commander answered calmly
- Because most agents are either on missions or guarding the perimeter of the base. And this base is only one of many secret ones. You wouldn't see this at the Team's main base - it's constantly crowded and busy with work.
Dawn nodded in understanding and she and the commander walked further down the corridor. Soon, Rivay stopped at one of the faceless doors, attached his pass card to the lock, and the door silently slid aside.
-Come in, here you will be registered as a full-fledged member of the Team and given a uniform. Rivay explained.
In a small room there was a man sitting behind a panel. Seeing Rivay, he straightened up and saluted at attention:
-Commander, has the recruit arrived? Okay, now we'll formalize everything according to the charter!
Dawn looked around: hanging on the wall were various jumpsuits and accessories from Team Galactic uniforms.
At ease! - said Rivay. - This is our new recruit, her name is Dawn. Just came to us.
Got it, got it! - The administrator nodded. - Come in, sit down, now we'll complete all the formalities.
Dawn sat down a little awkwardly on the chair opposite the table where the Team Galactic administrator sat down and pulled out a stack of documents and a whole stack of forms from a drawer.
"Let's start with the personnel registration form," the administrator said, pushing Dawn a sheet of questions. - First Name Last Name. Dawn wrote her first name, but she had problems with her last name, and then she had problems with the date and place of birth.
Dawn exchanged confused glances with Rivay. The commander, seeing that the girl was confused, immediately decided to help her so as not to prolong the already long registration even more.
- Don't worry, we'll provide approximate data, since your memory has failed you.
And Dawn nodded silently and wrote what the commander suggested she write.
After filling out this information, Dawn reached the column where she needed to indicate her fighting skills and the number of Pokemon she had with her.
"Write that you have very low combat skills and you don't have Pokemon," said Rivay.
Dawn obediently wrote down what the commander said. And when asked about her motivation for joining, she simply wrote: "I want to start a new life."
After filling out the form with personal data, the administrator of Team Galactic took out a fingerprint scanner:
"You need to register your biometric data in the system for reliable identification," he explained.
Dawn obediently placed each finger on the scanner, leaving her unique fingerprints in the Team's database. After Dawn's registration for Team Galactic was completed, the administrator chuckled with satisfaction:
- It seems that all the basic documentation has been completed. Now you can get the shape and define the living cell!
He pressed a button on the panel, and part of the wall moved to the side. Behind it was a small room filled with racks of clothes, shoes and various types of equipment for the Team's fighters.
"Choose a uniform in your size," the administrator waved his hand.
Dawn walked into a small room with shelves and began to look at the uniform sets, neatly arranged by size. She picked up the uniform jacket with the bright yellow Team Galactic logo on the chest. Turning it over, Dawn placed it on her chest - it seemed to be the right size. There was also a white hat with the Team's symbols on the shelf nearby. Dawn took it too, deciding that the hat suited her too.
A couple of minutes later, Dawn came out fully equipped in her Team combat uniform. The strict cut suited her and made her look collected.
- You look great! - Rivay praised. - I knew that the uniform would suit you. And since you are now a full-fledged fighter, you need to examine and treat your wounds after falling from a cliff. We have a medical unit with a good doctor. Let's treat bruises and a wound on the head.
Rivay led Dawn out into the corridor and towards the medical wing. Along the way, he pointed out various rooms of the base:
- Over there we have a training room and classes for studying Pokemon. And behind this door is the dining room.
After some time, Rivay led Dawn to the medical part of the base, which looked like several bright rooms with couches, cabinets with medicines and various equipment.
"Hello, Doctor. We have a new fighter with a head injury after an incident, we need a full examination and treatment," he introduced Dawn to a tall man in a white coat.
"No problem, sit down on the couch, young lady," the doctor nodded, taking out medical instruments.
- I'll go around the base for now, I need to check something. "We'll meet here in an hour," Rivay finally said and left the medical unit.
The doctor carefully examined the wound on the girl's head and bandaged it, treating it with an antiseptic. Then he shone a flashlight into his eyes, checking the reaction of the pupils.
- How do you feel? Headaches, dizziness, nausea? - he asked Dawn.
"In general, it's fine, but sometimes I feel a little dizzy," Dawn admitted honestly.
The doctor nodded:
- This is natural after such an injury. For now we are doing without medications; if the symptoms do not go away, then we will begin drug treatment.
After bandaging and checking the reactions, the doctor also measured the girl's blood pressure and temperature. The indicators were slightly higher than normal due to stress. He then carefully examined the back of her head and neck, probing her fingers for possible cracks or dislocations after such a strong blow from the fall. Fortunately, the bones were intact. Finally, the doctor injected Dawn with a mild painkiller to prevent severe headaches and advised her to refrain from intense exercise for the first time.
-Well, that's all that was in my power at this stage. The rest is a matter of time and peace," the doctor concluded. - Wait here for Commander Rivay, as he asked, and for now I'll take time off - I need to prepare for the next patient.
Dawn nodded and remained seated, waiting for Rivay
Surprisingly, time passed quickly in anticipation, and soon Commander Rivay returned to the medical unit.
Well, are you ready for new achievements? - he asked cheerfully. - Let's go, I'll show you your place to rest and store things. We need to get settled.
They went out into the corridor, and Rivay led Dawn towards the living quarters.
This block of sleeping cells is ours," he stopped near a row of doors and opened one with his universal key card. - Come in, settle down.
Dawn was faced with a small and modestly furnished room with a narrow bed, a bedside table and a wardrobe.
-Oh yes, I almost forgot, here's your key card. The commander took out a map from his pocket and gave it to Dawn. - For now, rest, and tomorrow at exactly 7 am an agent will come for you and tell you in detail about your routine, responsibilities and all that. And I advise you to be prepared at this time, since in our country any offenses are severely punished.
After which Dawn entered the room, and the commander, of course, left her alone. After the door closed, she decided to carefully examine the room. In principle, everything suited her, and the room had everything she needed. Dawn looked at the clock that stood on the nightstand next to the bed; it showed 18:00, which surprised her, because she did not expect time to pass so quickly. Dawn sat down on the bed and decided to collect her thoughts and remember what happened to her that day, yet the feeling of doubt and guilt did not leave her, since she was not completely clear whether she was guilty or not. Thinking about everything, the girl did not notice how it was already 20:00 on the clock, this meant only one thing: it was time for her to sleep, since tomorrow she would have a hard day. Dawn opened the closet and saw clothes there that were suitable for sleeping in, and without thinking twice she changed and went to bed.
Already lying in bed, Dawn continued to rush around in doubt - sleep was not coming. "What if tomorrow I'm ordered to do something terrible? What if I was really cruel? Or did I just fall into a trap?" - she was overcome by anxious thoughts.
In the dim silence of the modest sleeping chamber, every little thing seemed suspicious. Dawn listened every now and then to see if anyone was walking down the corridor. She felt trapped in a cage with an uncertain future.
Despite all the disturbing thoughts, pain and fatigue still took their toll, and Dawn fell into a slumber. At first, she dreamed of an endless escape through the corridors of the base from someone invisible and dangerous. But later I fell into a deep, dreamless sleep until the morning. After a disturbing night, Dawn woke up with the first rays of dawn, hearing the cheerful sound of an alarm clock in the ventilation. The girl opened her eyes with difficulty - her body ached after yesterday's ordeal.
"Well, a new day has come, full of uncertainty in this strange place," she thought, looking around the harsh gray walls of the sleeping chamber. Overnight, she could not find answers to the questions that tormented her. But I had to get up and get ready. In an hour, the agent promised to Rivay should arrive to bring Dawn up to date with the affairs and tasks of Team Galactic. "I wonder what I'll have to do?" - the girl shivered from anxious thoughts and climbed into the closet to choose her new uniform.
After getting dressed, Dawn decided to sit on the edge of the narrow bed and wait for the promised agent, although there were still about forty minutes before the appointed time. She did not dare to leave the sleeping compartment yet, for fear of running into trouble.
The minutes passed endlessly slowly. The girl alternately examined her smooth, spacesuit-like uniform, and then peered into the only small window in the ceiling, wondering whether it was the sky or artificial lighting. Occasionally, the girl took off her white hat with the bright yellow Team emblem, plunging into thought.
Finally, the click of the lock being opened was heard and a tall, broad-shouldered man who was wearing the same set of Team combat uniform as Dawn entered the cell without knocking. And with rather short and rounded turquoise hair, "This must be the agent..." thought Dawn, looking warily at the alien.
The agent who entered with an inscrutable expression looked at Dawn and said sternly.
-Well, recruit, it's time to get acquainted with our rules and your direct responsibilities here. My name is Raiden, I will be your supervisor for a trial period. And what is your name?
Dawn answered, a little confused.
-Dawn.
Raiden nodded.
-Okay, Dawn. Follow me.
He motioned for Dawn to follow him. She rose with caution and, on legs weak from excitement, trudged after Raiden along the winding passages of the base:
-You must follow any command orders unquestioningly. It's not your job to check and challenge - you're here to serve Team Galactic said Raiden.
Dawn entered a room that looked like a classroom - rows of tables, a blackboard. Raiden motioned for her to sit down, and the girl chose a seat by the window.
So, let's start with the simplest thing," Raiden took the chalk and began to write on the board: "Team Galactic, founded...
Then he began to tell in detail the history of the organization, drawing diagrams and diagrams on the board. Dawn tried to take it in and write everything down. Raiden outlined in detail the structure of Team Galactic - with different departments, spheres of influence, profile of activities. Everything looked very thoughtful and clear. Dawn listened with growing interest.
By the way, about Pokemon," she plucked up the courage to interrupt Raiden. -When do we get to Pokemon? I don't even have a single Pokemon with me right now. He sighed knowingly.
- I understand your impatience. But everything has its time. Now you have to do theoretical training. And only after fulfilling all the requirements, you can start practicing.
After Raiden's answer, Dawn sighed a little sadly, but continued to carefully take notes on the lecture.
"Now let's talk about the Pokémon themselves," Raiden continued. - As you know, they are divided into types - water, fire, grass, and so on. Now I will talk about the main characteristics of each type, their strengths and weaknesses...
Dawn tried to concentrate as much as possible, because this information could soon be useful to her in practice. She wrote down key points about each type of Pokémon, trying to remember their vulnerabilities and advantages. Raiden also mentioned that Dawn would have a follow-up test in six months. The test results will determine whether she gets access to practice with Pokémon. And if Dawn passes the test perfectly, then as an incentive she will be given a rare and strong Pokemon for further training. And while Raiden was telling all this, the end of their lesson had already come.
That's all for today," Raiden said, after which he gave Dawn homework - to study the lecture notes. - In addition to studying, your duties at the moment will include washing floors and cleaning corridors twice a week.
Having received homework and additional responsibilities, Dawn left the classroom after Raiden. He walked her along the corridors of the base, showing her where detergents, mops and other equipment were located. Then he explained the route and cleaning schedule.
-You will wash the floors in the dining room and corridors every Monday and Thursday after lunch. - Raiden noted in a stern tone.
Dawn carefully memorized all the instructions, trying not to miss important details. What if Raiden checks something or asks her? Although, on the other hand, this is simple cleaning.
After escorting the recruit to her room and making sure that everything was clear, Raiden left Dawn alone. She sank onto the bed with relief, preparing to process the day's information.
"So, every Monday and Thursday after breakfast you need to wash the floors, and also learn a lot of new theories about Pokemon," Dawn summed up to herself. I would like to start training as quickly as possible, but all I could do was wait for the exam in six months.
Getting out of bed, Dawn decided to have a snack in the dining room before cleaning up - this would help her get used to the new routine faster. Dawn arrived at the spacious, bright dining room of Team Galactic's base. It was not crowded yet - only a couple of people were having breakfast at the far table. Dawn grabbed a tray of food and a glass of juice from the counter before sitting down at the nearest empty table. The food turned out to be quite filling and tasty - pasta with sausages. Gaining strength before the upcoming cleaning, the girl looked around the spacious dining room.
And just as she was finishing her pasta, a young guy of about fifteen, dressed in an organization uniform and with tousled birch hair, approached her table. He looked at the girl with an interested glance.
Hey, you're clearly new! What is your name? "I'm Rick," he unceremoniously introduced himself.
Dawn," the girl answered quietly, embarrassed by such close attention.
Well hello Dawn! Why are you so quiet? Tell us something about yourself! - blurted out a curious Rick.
"I… I don't remember much," muttered a confused Dawn.
It means you don't remember. In-te-res-ted," Rick drawled. It's not often that I meet new people with amnesia. Listen, friend, you are lucky to be on our Team. Here we will look after you as if we were our own.
Okay... Well, I have to go," Dawn finally said, finishing her juice and getting up from the table. I removed the tray and went to get acquainted with mops and buckets for washing floors. "Well, it's time to start my new duties," Dawn thought as she headed into the corridor.
Grabbing a mop and bucket, Dawn set out to clean the dining room floor, as stated as her duties by Raiden.
The girl diligently worked with a mop, soaping the tiles. However, she was not yet accustomed to such work, so the cleaning did not progress very quickly. In addition, Dawn kept looking around - she felt lonely and lost at this base among strangers. But despite this, she still continued to fulfill her duties. Dawn continued to work diligently with a mop in her hands, although mopping floors was clearly not her forte. Tile by tile she soaped and scrubbed away the dirt, stopping periodically to rest and look around.
Entering the dining room and starting to clean there at some point, the girl noticed at one of the tables that same curious guy, Rick, who had approached her earlier here in the dining room. He was carefree leafing through a magazine, sitting on a chair with his feet on the table.
Seeing Dawn cleaning up, Rick waved his hand at her.
-Oh hello again! I see that you were forced to scrub the floors. How are the floors, clean already?
Dawn just sighed to herself and continued scrubbing tile after tile, trying to ignore the energetic guy's chatter. However, Rick seemed not to give up so easily.
-Hey, why are you so taciturn? Let me show you the training room after dinner? It's cool there, believe me!
Dawn looked at Rick doubtfully. On the one hand, it would be nice to make at least some friend at this base. But on the other hand, this guy was clearly annoying and unreliable.
Thank you, but it's too early for me to go there," Dawn answered cautiously. - Maybe next time.
She tried to quickly clean the floor and, having collected the buckets, hurried to hide from the dining room under the gaze of Rick.
After a short dialogue with the overly intrusive Rick, Dawn hurried to leave the dining room. She had already regretted that she had even spoken to this guy and not just ignored him.
"I hope at least next time he will leave me alone," the girl thought to herself, returning the mop to its place and rinsing the rag. Rick was clearly one of those guys who doesn't know how to stop in time. And the last thing Dawn wanted right now was to attract unnecessary attention to herself.
However, when she went to the same dining room for dinner in the evening, Rick was already waiting for her at one of the tables, energetically waving his hand:
-Dawn, come here! I have prepared a place for you!
Dawn sighed heavily. It looks like this annoying guy is determined to keep up with her. Should I ignore him again or still sit at his table? This could have been a good chance to somehow find out the situation at the base from someone who clearly belonged here. After these thoughts, Dawn took the food and sat down at the same table with this guy. Rick looked very cheerful and interested.
-Listen. Rick started the conversation first. -I don't understand what tasks you perform, your uniform is like that of an infantryman, but I don't see any Pokeballs on you
Dawn said a little sadly - Well, I'm still not very good at Pokemon and I was assigned theoretical training, so I can't have them until I pass the test.
Curious, Rick said.
As Dawn and Rick sat at the dining room table eating dinner, Rick continued to ask Dawn various questions, trying to learn more about her life.
So where are you from? - Rick asked.
"I... don't remember," Dawn admitted honestly, "I have amnesia, I don't remember anything about my past before appearing in this place."
Oh yes, that's right... You have amnesia. Rick shrugged. - Or maybe over time you'll remember something?
I hope so," Dawn sighed.
The conversation continued. Rick chatted a lot about life on base and asked Dawn various questions. She was initially wary of this talkative guy, but gradually began to feel more and more calm and comfortable in his company.
Perhaps I misjudged him in the first place, Dawn thought. Rick wasn't as pushy as I thought. And it definitely wouldn't hurt me to make at least one friend here."
While Dawn was thinking and was about to ask Rick a response question, she suddenly heard a loud beep from the communicator on his wrist.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I have to answer," Rick apologized. - This may be important.
He pressed the communicator button and spoke to someone via voice communication. Dawn fiddled awkwardly with the spoon on her plate, waiting for Rick to finish talking. She heard only isolated fragments of phrases: "Yes, I'll be right there... New mission?.. Okay, I'll be there in five minutes."
Having completed the call, Rick jumped up from the table:
Sorry, friend, I have some work to do! Maybe we'll talk more later!
He hurriedly grabbed the tray and rushed out of the dining room, and Dawn was left sitting alone at the table. After Rick suddenly ran away on an urgent call, and dinner was already ending, Dawn no longer lingered in the dining room. Having gained new impressions from the first closer communication with one of the Team's fighters, the girl wearily rose from the table. Despite her gradually warming attitude towards Rick, she was still filled with doubts and anxiety from realizing her own uncertain position and future on this strange base. I constantly had to be on guard, not knowing what to expect next. Dawn followed the now familiar path to her sleeping compartment. The corridors were quiet and deserted - the evening shift was in full swing, most of the Team's fighters were most likely already resting. Entering the rather disgusting modest room, Dawn, without changing clothes, fell onto the hard bed, turning over the events of the past day in her head.
After lying on the bed for a while, Dawn decided that it was already quite late and time to go to bed. She changed into sleeping clothes and, with relief, climbed under the thin blanket on the hard bed. Despite the thoughts swirling in her head, fatigue took its toll, and Dawn quickly fell asleep.
And for the next six months, all Dawn did was study theory, and after studying she did cleaning. Due to the fact that the work was the same type and routine, the girl did not notice how quickly time flew by. And her only friend was sent on a very long mission. Every day Dawn became more and more worried about the approaching exam. And then the very day came when she had to take the exam.
Dawn woke up very worried. The whole past day she was not relieved of tension. She once again mentally repeated the main points from the theory she had learned, but with alarm she realized that from excitement they were getting confused in her head.
At the appointed time, Dawn appeared in the office at the Team base, where an examination committee of three people was already waiting for her. Walking inside, the girl involuntarily shuddered - the atmosphere was too official and cold.
"Well, it wasn't, as they say," she encouraged herself and took the indicated place at the table opposite the examiners. Moreover, these three were so similar to each other that they seemed like twins - the same stern faces, the same hairstyle and shape.
The examiners began with questions about basic theory knowledge. Dawn answered clearly and confidently, demonstrating good preparation. Gradually the questions became more complicated and more confusing. But Dawn did not give up - she strained her memory and, sometimes with a slight hesitation, gave detailed answers.
The examiners narrowed their eyes and looked at each other. They seemed alarmed by the ease with which Dawn dealt with their tricky questions.
After another question answered by the girl, the examiners decided to ask the last question. "The last question," the chief examiner said sternly, "imagine that during an important task to steal valuables from a secret laboratory, your partner was seriously wounded. You can either abandon him and complete the mission, or help your partner and foil the plan. What will you do and why?
Dawn thought a little and decided to give her answer - In such a situation, I would evaluate how important the success of this mission is and what exactly we are trying to steal from the laboratory. If we are talking about invaluable samples or data critical to the organization's experiments, I would complete the task as a matter of priority. And only then would she return for her partner.
However, if the stolen values are not so critical, then human life is still more valuable. In this case, I would provide my partner with medical assistance and retreat with him.
The examiners looked at each other and quietly discussed something among themselves. Then the chief took the tablet, quickly typing some notes. Dawn watched curiously as they talked about something.
Finally, the chief looked up from the tablet and addressed her:
"Thank you, Miss Dawn. The exam is over. You will be informed about the results later. You can go, we will analyze your answers and make a further decision."
After leaving the examiners' office, Dawn headed to her room. Her head was still busy analyzing the questions asked and her answers. "Did I make a mistake somewhere? Maybe I should have answered the last question differently?" - she thought with anxiety.
Evening had already passed, and there was still no promised news about the exam results. Dawn sat in her room, nervously tapping her fingers on the table and listening to every sound in the hallway. Suddenly her communicator beeped. The message read: "Miss Dawn, you are expected in the conference room on the third floor at 20:00 for the announcement of the exam results. Please arrive on time."
Dawn went cold with excitement. Now everything will be decided! She looked at her watch - there were exactly 10 minutes left until the appointed time. The girl ran out of the room and ran down the corridor as fast as she could. My heart was pounding like crazy. Fortunately, the conference room was on the same floor, and Dawn knew where it was. Turning the corner, she almost knocked down one of the fighters passing by. But that didn't matter anymore! The main thing is to be on time for this ill-fated announcement.
Out of breath, Dawn opened the door to the conference room and looked around. It was a spacious room with high walls. In the center there was a large table, behind which sat three familiar examiners. Next to them, Dawn saw another figure - it was Aiden, the same teacher who had been preparing her in all theoretical disciplines throughout the last period. "Ah, Miss Dawn," the chief examiner nodded sternly to her. - Please pass. Sit down opposite. We will now announce the results of your control testing. Dawn, trembling, took a seat at a separate small table.
Dawn, trembling with excitement, took a seat at a separate small table opposite the examiners. The chief examiner looked at her studyingly, then exchanged glances with his colleagues and nodded.
"So, let's get started," the chief began. — Miss Dawn, based on the results of your control testing, the following conclusion was made...
He paused, and Dawn's heart sank from this hesitation. What will they announce now?!
— You passed the exam test perfectly, scoring a high score. Congratulations!
Dawn breathed a sigh of relief. So she did it after all! But joy immediately gave way to anxiety - because now real work for the organization awaited her.
Tomorrow they will come for you and give you a starting Pokemon. Added by examiner
Dawn nodded confusedly. Get your own Pokemon! It was joyful and scary at the same time.
"Thank you, Miss Dawn, that's all for today," the chief examiner announced. - You can go, rest.
As soon as the official part was over, Dawn left the conference room. Thoughts were still confused in my head. Mechanically heading to her room, she tried to realize that now she had work for the organization and... her own Pokemon! Entering the sleeping area, Dawn collapsed on the bed. "Well, let's see how this all turns out next," she thought, and went to bed.
