(A/N: It's been way too long since I returned to the Blackthorns. (Too bad, it's when it's all over.))
Chapter 12: In the Coming Months
[Jetblaze, U16]
If there was one relief to Zeno being childlike at times, it was his attention could be taken easily by the right stimuli. Given a few choice games, Zeno decided to cancel the tournament. However, it was mentioned that it could be opened up in the future. For some, that was news to go about life as normal without a care. For those taking it seriously, it was time to put into some level of training. That's what Kenji and his Outsiders did.

Two months later…
"So the interuniversal highway system is done. The universes are connected…and driving there would be a clinch." Kenji said while reading the newspaper.
He was home having just finished breakfast after getting the morning paper. He felt sorry for the world of 'the Boys' essentially doomed to be the weak link…though he was not that sorry. Despite that, he was in a good mood. Business was good…the population of Jetblaze was steadily growing. Remnant was also slowly becoming more hospitable for people to expand and grow given the Grimm no longer had someone controlling them. However, Jetblaze had an uptick in faunus with all of Mengearie's citizens moving to the planet for better conditions. Los Santos being partly a beach town made it easy for the shift. It was funny that Kenji was now considered among the faunus to be the patron saint of them and was even given a holiday.
Blake was less than pleased as she saw him as some pompous overlord. Not that many gave a damn about what Blake thought given she could give lip service while Kenji produced results.
"The year is soon to end…2024 is going to be quite interesting." Kenji mused after putting down the paper.
(A/N: Sorry for this being so short and being so long, but sadly this story had ended prematurely. A combination of a lack of ideas, the second guy I was doing this with not being so attentive, and other projects that were more 'profitable' ate away my time from this fic. It's a shame really as most of my Blackthorn and Blackthorn adjacent projects have to fight for the views they get. This one had little of a fighting chance. Is SonikNaoko going to continue Spice of Destruction? Likely. What about Kenji? He'll be fine…if anything his rule is solidified and if anything he's going to have a pretty good ending all around. Most of the Blackthorns do. In a way, I feel they ran their course…save for Ace Blackthorn himself. Dragon Ball Blackthorned needs a remaster and out of the lot…he's the only Blackthorn that really needs a sequel. For what it's worth, I'm glad to work on Project Blackthorn. Maybe not the way I wanted it to fully end, but hey, that's life. Thank all of you who supported and left reviews…I guess this is goodbye. Or more see you again on another problem still ongoing which Multiversal Confessions is…that's still going too.)
