To my readers-This is a major editing overhaul for my Pokemon fanfiction. During this editing overhaul, I am renaming my OC. I will not change her Pokemon Partner, and I will not change her regional Pokemon Teams. I have decided as a writing goal to combine all of the regions together rather than writing them as individual regions. I'm still going to write Sinnoh and Unova, but at this moment, I need to finish writing certain regions like Kanto, Alola and Galar. For those of you who are going to ask me if I'm doing the Pokemon movies (you know who you are), I'm nipping that question in the bud right now. I will not be writing the movies. Why? Because it will be too much for me to do as I already have a lot on my plate as it is so stop asking me that question.
If you dont like the way I'm writing my version of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, and Galar then you dont have to read my fanfiction. You can move onto reading something else in the Pokemon universe, I'm not going to force you as readers to read my fanfiction. I'm not going to reach through my computer screen to force you to read any of my fanfiction. You as individuals chose to read my fanfiction. Happy Reading!
I DONT OWN POKEMON. I ONLY OWN MY OC AND THE CREATION OF HER REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS. ALL REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS WILL BE POSTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CHAPTERS FOR MY OC.
Shoutouts:
"Hey! We're here." said Ash as he, Trixie, Misty and Brock exited the forest.
Narrator: After earning a soul badge at the Fuchsia Gym, our friends arrive at the Safari Zone, where they're sure to discover some new and unusual Pokémon.
Trixie: I wonder what kind of Pokémon there is at the Safari Zone.
Meeko: Riolu.
Suddenly, the ground starts shaking underneath them. "Hey, it feels like an earthquake!" said Misty.
"Look out! Over there!" said Brock as a cloud of dust rose in the distance.
"Uh, what is it?" asked Ash. In the distance, a herd of Tauros mooed and grunted as they ran together.
"Pika! Pi!" said a scared Pikachu.
"Riolu! Olu! Olu!" squealed Meeko, jumping onto Trixie's back.
"Oh, man." said Ash.
"How big is that herd?" asked Trixie.
"What are those things?" asked Ash.
"Pika! Riol!" said Pikachu and Meeko.
"Tauros. A wild bull Pokémon. When whipping itself with its three tails, its tackle is a powerful destructive force." said Dexter.
"Interesting, but scary." said Trixie.
"Yes. Okay, Pikachu." said Ash, then looked over his shoulder. "Hmm? Huh?" On the ground, Pikachu was in his bed, fast asleep.
"Ri…olu." said Meeko, gently poking the mouse.
"Hey, Pikachu." said Ash.
"Nice time for a nap." said Brock.
"Don't you think Pikachu's outnumbered here?" asked Misty.
"Plus, don't you think Pikachu will get trampled by Tauros?" asked Trixie.
"I know that. Charmander, I choose you!" said Ash.
"Char!" said Charmander.
"Ember Attack, now!" said Ash.
"Char!" Charmander said as it gets ready to attack when suddenly a dog like Pokémon belly flops and sits on Charmander.
"Growl!" howled the Pokémon as Charmander grunted.
"Whats that thing?" asked Ash.
"Growlithe. A puppy Pokémon of pleasant demeanor and great diligence. It drives enemies away with its barks and bites." said Dexter.
"Growlithe?" asked Ash.
"Now that's the kind of Pokémon I want protecting me and Meeko." said Trixie with stars in her eyes.
"Rio!" Meeko said in agreement.
"Hey! What about me and Pikachu?" asked Ash.
"I'm talking about besides you and Pikachu, Ash." said Trixie.
"All right, Charmander, Flamethrower attack!" shouted Ash.
"Char! Char!" shouted Charmander.
"Growl!" said Growlithe as both Pokémon aimed their Flamethrowers at each other.
"So it's a fire type too." said Ash. "Charmander, return! Maybe Squirtle."
"Hold it." said a girl, riding a horse Pokémon as the Pokémon raised its front legs up, scaring Ash.
"Whoa!" said Ash, falling to the ground, knocking Trixie back.
"Ow! Get off me, idiot!" said Trixie, failing her arms.
"Hey, what are you doing?" asked Ash as Misty helps pull out a failing Trixie from underneath him.
"You little sidewinder, don't tell me you don't know this whole area is a Pokémon preserve." said the girl.
"A Pokémon preserve?" asked Ash.
"Yes."
"Whats that?" Ash asked.
"It's a place where it's against the law to capture Pokémon so they can grow up here naturally." the girl explained.
"That's amazing." said Ash.
"That's awesome." said Trixie.
"Olu." added Meeko.
"You grew up right pretty yourself, miss." said Brock. "Whats the name of this here place?"
"Have you ever heard of the Big P. Pokémon Ranch that's owned by the Laramie Family?" she asked.
"Isn't that the place where they raise lots of Pokémon in the wild?" asked Brock. "Hey! This must be that place."
"This is the Laramie Big P. Ranch, and I'm Lara Laramie." said Lara, introducing herself.
"Growlithe!" said Growlithe, joining her.
"And this Growlithe makes sure nobody tries to capture our Pokémon." Lara explained.
"Oh." said Trixie, Misty and Brock.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"Riolu." said Meeko. Once further on the ranch, Ash pulls out Dexter as he and the others were on the fence. "Ponyta. A Fire Horse Pokémon. Its mane is made of intense flames." said Dexter.
"Whoa." said Ash.
"Pika." said Pikachu.
"Isn't it real hot?" asked Misty.
"I don't need to worry because Ponyta will never, ever burn anybody it really trusts." said Lara.
"Cool." said Trixie in awe, then stood to the side of Ponyta. "I bet Ponyta is the fastest Pokémon on the ranch, other than your Growlithe I mean."
"Hmm." said Ash as he hopped off the fence and reaches out to pet Ponyta. "Nice Ponyta."
Ponyta's mane intensified, burning Ash's hand, causing him to scream. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry." said Trixie, bowing to Ponyta as Squirtle cools Ash's hand.
"It's okay." said Lara, giggling. "It took a while for Ponyta to trust me too."
"Just training one Pokémon's a big job, but a whole herd must be really tough." said Misty.
"Breeders love Pokémon from the Laramie ranch." said Brock. "Because they're raised in the wild, and they're a little stronger than other Pokémon. You're lucky if you get a Big P. Pokémon."
"(Chuckles) I'm real glad some folks know about all the hard work we do." said Lara, beaming at Brock. "We're real proud of the way we raise our Pokémon here."
"I'd love to see more of this place." said Misty.
"Me, too!" said Trixie.
"Well, we're having our big party here tonight." said Lara. "Why don't you all come as my guests?"
"Really? Riolu?" asked Trixie and Meeko, looking at each other before looking back at Lara.
"A party? That sounds great!" said Ash.
"Pika! Pika!" said Pikachu.
"And if you stay here at the ranch tonight, you'll be able to see the big Pokémon race tomorrow." Lara said to the quartet.
"A Pokémon race?" asked Ash and Trixie.
"We race one another to find out who's got the best Pokémon." Lara explained. "Anyone who wins the Big P. Pokémon race becomes an honorary member of the Laramie clan. Huh?"
Soon enough, the ground starts rumbling again. "The Tauros again?" asked Misty.
"No. That sound could only be…." said Lara as dust was seen and a herd of Pokémon ran past them.
"Oh, man. They move fast." said Ash.
"Howdy, Lara." said a boy, sitting on the Pokémon's back.
"Dodrio. A three-headed bird Pokémon that can run faster than it can fly." explained Dexter. "It's three heads represent joy, sorrow and anger."
"We're going to win the Pokémon race tomorrow." the boy said smugly.
"Don't be too sure, pardner." said Lara, glaring at him. "It takes more than just speed to win the race."
"Just get ready to lose, Lara. Yee-hee!" he said as his Dodrio takes off.
"What a jerk! Who is that guy?" asked Misty.
"He's Dario, a Dodrio trainer. And we'll see what kind of guy he is." said Lara.
Somewhere on the ranch, the party takes place. "Hey, Lara, good luck in the race tomorrow." said a food vendor. "We're all going to be rooting for you."
"Thank you kindly." said Lara.
"Your Ponyta's great." said a woman from the crowd.
"Thank you, ma'am." she said.
"Good luck, Lara." said a man in the crowd.
"Appreciate it." Lara said.
"Go for it, girl!" said another man in the crowd.
"She must be a real contender in that race." said Brock.
"Well, she sure has done a great job training that Ponyta of hers." said Misty.
"Yeah." said Trixie as she and Ash take a bite of what they were eating.
"We're really lucky to have run into such an incredible Pokémon breeder, aren't we?" asked Ash.
"Hey, Lara!" said Dario, running up behind the small group. "All of your Tauros are going crazy back at the ranch."
"Huh?" they said as they ran back to the ranch. Lara whistles for Ponyta, who then runs up alongside her. "Hyah! Let's go!" said Lara as she and Ponyta raced to ranch with Growlithe close behind.
Dario smirks as they head back to the ranch. "Hey. What…?" Lara asked as she watches her herd of Tauros fighting each other. "Growlithe, get in there and settle them down."
"Growlithe." said Growlithe, jumping over the fence. "Growlithe. Growlithe. Growlithe."
As Growlithe runs around the Tauros, the herd starts to calm down and the dust starts to settle. "Hmm. Whats that?" Lara asked as she and Ponyta heard something rustling in the grass when suddenly it came out and spooked Ponyta.
Scared, Ponyta neighs as it tossed Lara off its back and onto the ground. Lara screamed in pain as she landed on her arm. "Lara! Ponyta!" Ash cried out as he and the others ran up.
"Lara." said Brock as he and Misty helped her up.
"I think I'm okay." she said, then screamed in pain when she moved her left arm.
"Don't move that arm." said Misty.
"Whoa, Ponyta. Settle down!" grunted Ash as he had Ponyta's reins.
"Hey, Hey, Hey." said Trixie, petting Ponyta's body, helping her brother calm the fire horse.
"Come on. Settle down." said Ash as Ponyta struggled against the reins. "Calm down, Ponyta!"
Soon enough, Ponyta calms down. "(Sighs) I wonder what happened to spook all the Pokémon." said Ash.
"They're good." Lara whispered to herself.
Watching from behind a brick column, Team Rocket grinned at each other. "Pretty nice work." said Meowth, grinning.
"Even better than we planned it." said Jessie.
"I have a good feeling about this one." said James, feeling giddy.
"Good work." said Dario, appearing behind Team Rocket.
"Huh?" the three said.
"I wouldn't expect anything less from Team Rocket." said Dario.
"Meowth." said Meowth.
"We're just here to do the best job possible so we can all get what we want." said Jessie.
"Once Team Rocket gets with the Laramie clan, we'll make big bucks." said James. "We're going to get rich and rule the world!"
"We're going to make sure that you win that race, Dario." said Jessie.
"Uh-huh." Dario said, nodding. "If I get what I want, you get what you want."
"Right, pardner." said Meowth and the four of them started laughing. At her home, Lara had her arm in a sling.
"With my arm like this, I can't grip Ponyta's reins, so I won't be able to race tomorrow." sighed Lara.
"Too bad for the Laramie clan." said Ash.
"Hold on. Ash, you and Trixie can ride Ponyta for me." said Lara.
"Huh?" said Misty and Brock, shocked that she asked them.
"I'm honored, but I'm too little to ride Ponyta." said Trixie, then points to her brother. "Ash can do. He's the oldest sibling."
"Jordan's right. Besides, I can't do it." said Ash. "Ponyta will burn any rider except you."
"I'm sure either one of you could do it." said Lara, chuckling. "When I saw you trying so hard to pet Ponyta, I knew you both could do it, you two. Please give it a try."
"Yeah, but…." said Ash, hesitant about this. Both siblings looked at Ponyta, who whinnied in response. "Give it a try." said Misty.
"We'll help you in any way we can." said Brock.
"Pika. Pikachu." said Pikachu in agreement.
"Ri, Riolu." said Meeko.
"Well, in that case I'll do it." said Ash.
"Looks like we're partners, Ponyta." said Ash as he tries to pet Ponyta, who then burns his hand again.
"I guess Ponyta's not cool with this." said Misty.
"Pika." said Pikachu.
"Yeah…I'm not getting on." said Trixie as Squirtle once again uses Water Gun on Ash's hand. "Good luck in tomorrow's race, Ash."
"Ponyta!" Lara scolded her partner, who then neighs. "Ponyta, if you win the race with a new rider, it'll prove how great you really are. Everybody'll know that you're the best of all. And that is the best praise for me. Wont you please let Ash ride you tomorrow?"
"(grunts)" said Ponyta, nodding.
"Remember Ponyta." said Lara, once they were outside. She nodded to Ash and he gets onto Ponyta. "Hey, it's not hot." said Ash. "I did it! Yeah!" Just then, Ash kicks Ponyta in the hind leg and Ponyta takes off. "Oh!"
"There he goes. Riding off into the distance." said Trixie, holding Meeko in her arms as Brock sighs.
"At least he's hanging in there." said Misty.
"Pika." said Pikachu as Ash hangs onto Ponyta's tail. The next day, fireworks went off as the crowd cheers for the competitors.
"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to this year's Pokémon challenge, sponsored by the Laramie clan." said the announcer. Trixie and Meeko were sitting in the stands with Lara and Growlithe.
"Our course takes our challengers over rugged terrain to test their speed and agility." said the announcer. "Whoever clears all the obstacles and crosses the finish line first is our winner. Will the Pokémon and trainers please come to the starting line now?"
"Good luck, guys." said Lara.
"You got this." said Trixie.
"Riolu!" said Meeko.
"Huh?" said Ash. "Ready to race, Ponyta?"
"Hey!" Brock shouted at Ash as Ponyta's flames extended towards him and Misty.
"They're going to burn up the track." said Misty.
"Ready…." said the announcer as the lights on the track counted down. "Go!"
Once the light turned green, they went off. "And they're off on this exciting Pokémon challenge race." said the announcer. "When the dust settles, we'll be able to see who's in the early lead."
"Squirtle!" said Squirtle as it and Pikachu went through the dust.
"Pika!" said Pikachu, riding Squirtle's back.
"Now that the contestants have left the stadium and are on the first part of the obstacle course." The announcer said to the crowd.
"Yee-ha!" said Dario as he takes the lead with his Dodrio.
"Pika, Pika! Pi." said Pikachu.
"And Dario riding Dodrio has pulled away from the pack." said the announcer. "If he keeps up this blistering pace, he'll be unstoppable."
"You can beat him, Ash." said Lara.
"Go, Ash." said Trixie.
In the tall grass, something shiny was aimed at Tauros, hitting in its face, causing it to cry out in pain. "And something has happened to the Tauros." said the announcer, watching Tauros kick up in pain. "It's acting like this is a rodeo."
The next thing that happened, Tauros crashed into another Pokémon. "Whoa! And now Nidorina is fighting mad after getting bumped by Tauros. They're ignoring their trainers and starting to battle." said the announcer. "These Pokémon could use some strict training. They look like they're out of this race."
"I got a bull's eye." said James.
"Or close to it." said Jessie.
"The next obstacle is a 45-degree uphill climb, a test of endurance for the Pokémon and their trainers, and Dario still holds the lead." said the announcer.
"Come on, Ponyta." Ash said as he and Ponyta rode alongside someone riding a Raticate.
"Squirtle. Squirtle." said a tired Squirtle, panting as Pikachu helps it climb up the hill.
"Bringing up the rear are Pikachu and Squirtle, but slow and steady may not be enough to win this race." the announcer said as he then looks at everyone going downhill. "Whoa! Who is that barreling down that steep slope?"
"What?" asked a shocked Ash.
"He's fast." said Dario.
"That's Electrode using its perfectly round body to gain speed and take the lead on the downhill." said the announcer.
Suddenly the trainer and his Electrode rolled into a hole as Team Rocket cackled behind a rock. "Oh, and it's another accident." said the announcer as they went around the hole. "Electrode has fallen into a hole, and Dodrio once again takes over the lead."
Just then, Electrode starts to turn red. "Oh no! Electrode's voltage level is too high!" said the announcer and Electrode explodes, causing Ash and Ponyta to be pushed forward by the blast.
"Ah!" shouted Ash.
"Ash!" shouted Lara and Trixie.
"What a shock." said the announcer. "Electrode's most powerful attack. Explosion. Its destroyed everything around. Electrode's living up to its bomb ball nickname."
Out on the course, Ash and Ponyta were on the ground, covered in bruises. "Another one bites the dust." said Meowth as the three laughed.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu as he and Squirtle came up to Ash and Ponyta. "Pikachu!"
Pikachu shocks Ash and Ponyta, giving them a jolt. "Oh, no!" said Meowth, witnessing what happened.
"They're back up." said the announcer.
"Go, Pikachu!" said Trixie.
"Riolu!" said Meeko.
"Ponyta and Lara's replacement Ash, are showing that they've really got guts." said the announcer.
"All right." said Lara.
"Now one of the most difficult sections of the course. The Pokémon have to jump from one stone to the next to cross the river." said the announcer.
"Go! Go, Dodrio!" said Dario, as both he and Dodrio went from stone to stone. Once Onix and Rhyhorn got to the water, they looked at each other before Rhyhorn takes a jump and sinks with its trainer.
"That's okay. We tried." said Brock as Onix cried.
"Ah! Too bad, folks." said the announcer. "Rock Pokémon can't deal with water, so Onix is out of here."
"Pika!" said Pikachu, riding on Squirtle's shell.
"And looks like surf's up for Pikachu. Squirtle and Starmie are performing like true blue water Pokémon." the announcer said to the crowd.
"I'll keep on going, Brock." Misty said over her shoulder.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"Ponyta's a great jumper and crossing beautifully, with no fear of the water. It could make a comeback!" said the announcer.
"Faster! Faster! Faster!" Ash said to Ponyta.
"That's it. You can do it, Ash." said Lara.
"Now to boost their energy, each Pokémon can resume the race only after eating an entire bowl of food." said the announcer. "The Pokémon decide which bowl to eat."
"Ah!" said Dario as Dodrio's three heads start to fight over the food. "Oh, quit fighting! You'll all get your fair share."
"Looks like each one of Dodrio's heads wants to eat first, and a fight's broken out!" said the announcer. "The fastest runner is losing valuable time here as Starmie, Squirtle and Ponyta appear on the scene."
"Riolu." said Meeko pointing to the screen at Dodrio. "Ri, Riolu."
"Yeah, but that's between you and me." said Jordan.
"Okay, Ponyta, time for some fast food." said Ash.
"Oh! All right, Team Rocket, time to go to work!" Dario said.
"Ah!" said Misty as smog appeared from below.
"We've got a major problem here, folks." said the announcer as he watches the scene unfold. "Black smoke is blowing over the course. I hope our camera crew can get our picture back soon and show us if there's been another accident out there."
"Ponyta." said Lara.
"Ash, Misty, Pikachu." said Trixie.
"Prepare for trouble."
"Make it double."
"It's Team Rocket." said Ash, looking up.
"To protect the world from devastation…"
"To untie all peoples within our nation…."
"To denounce the evils of truth and love…"
"To extend our reach to the stars above…"
"Jessie."
"James."
"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light." said Jessie.
"Surrender now or prepare to fight." said James.
"Meowth! That's right!" said Meowth.
"We don't have time to play around with you three stooges!" said Misty.
"How dare you compare us to the…." shouted Jessie, before regaining composure. "I mean, come on up. I'd like to have a word with you."
"Yes, come on up and bring your Ponyta with you." said James.
"Then I can mess you up again." added Meowth.
"'Mess you up again'?" asked Ash, confused before realizing what Meowth meant. "So it was Team Rocket!"
"It was you who broke Lara's arm." said Misty.
"It was such a sad accident." said Jessie, wiping her eyes.
"We couldn't sleep after it happened." said James.
"Save your tears!" said Ash. "Pikachu, Squirtle, get ready to rumble."
"Squirtle!" said Squirtle, as it and Pikachu stopped eating, ready to fight Team Rocket.
"This race is over for you, losers." said Jessie. "Arbok, Glare attack!"
"Squirtle! Pika!" shouted Squirtle and Pikachu, terrified by Arbok.
"Let's go, Starmie!" shouted Misty as Starmie starts spinning.
"Weezing, sludge attack now!" shouted James and Weezing sludges Starmie.
"You okay, Starmie?" Misty asked as it tries to get the sludge off.
"I think we're winning." said Jessie.
"I think you're right." said James. Just then, Ponyta gets anxious.
"Whoa!" said Ash. "Settle down, Ponyta. Hey, calm down!"
"Dario. Now's your chance." said Jessie.
"Thanks, Jessie. Go, Dodrio." he said and takes off in the lead again.
"Team Rocket's working for Dario." said Ash as Dario ran past him and Ponyta.
"Ash! Forget about them." said Misty, getting his attention. "You have to win this race for Lara Laramie. Go catch up with Dario, and we'll take care of Team Rocket."
"But…But I…." stammered Ash.
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu.
"Stop Ponyta with your Poison Sting!" Jessie ordered Arbok.
"Ar." said Arbok.
"Ah!" screamed Ash when Ponyta neighs loudly, raising its fire to protect Ash and itself.
"Arbok!" screamed Arbok as Weezing appeared in front of it.
"Oh no! Don't use the gas." said James but it was too late. Weezing used its attack and fire quickly came running towards Team Rocket, causing an explosion.
"Things seemed to be going so well for us this time." said Jessie.
"Maybe we'll have better luck next time." said James.
"Now we're blasting off again." said Meowth.
"Yes." said the announcer. "Now we've got our picture back and Dodrio is still in the lead. Now let's take a look at what happened to the other Pokémon and I can't see any….Wait. Who's that? It's a giant burning flame!"
"Faster, Ponyta. We're way behind." said Ash.
"It's Ponyta! I don't know how it happened, but it looks like this has become a two Pokémon race between Dodrio and Ponyta, with nothing left but a flat out run to the finish line." said the announcer. "And Dodrio has entered the stadium, still in the lead."
"I'm going to win this one!" said Dario, cackling as he gets closer to the finish line. The crowd cheered and applauded as Ash and Ponyta caught up with Dario. "Huh? How'd he get so close?" Dario asked as he looked over his shoulder.
"Now Ponyta's closing in on Dodrio." said the announcer.
"Okay, Ponyta, lets beat him." said Ash as they were neck and neck with Dario.
"Now these two powerful Pokémon are trading the lead." the announcer said.
"Do it, Dodrio." said Dario and one of the heads poked Ponyta in the face.
"Ah!" said Ash as Ponyta falls back.
"No! Riolu!" shouted Trixie and Meeko.
"Something's happened. Ponyta is falling behind." the announcer tells the crowd.
"That was a cheap shot, Dario." shouted Ash.
"I do what I have to, to win." said Dario.
"Dodrio is closing in on the finish line." said the announcer. Out of nowhere, the flame surrounding Ponyta and Ash became larger, causing Ash and Lara to gasp. A bright light glowed under Ash as Ponyta starts to evolve into a bigger horse with a horn on its head, causing Ash to scream. "Ponyta just…." said Ash.
"Evolved into Rapidash." said Lara.
"Fans, this is incredible!" said the announcer. "Ponyta has evolved into Rapidash, the fastest sprinter in the world of Pokémon."
"I can't believe it." said Dario, seeing the evolution before his eyes.
"Here comes Rapidash, who has a top speed of over 100 miles an hour." said the announcer. "And Rapidash has caught up! They're neck and neck heading for the finish line."
"Come on, Dodrio." said Dario.
"Rapidash!" shouted Ash.
"It's down to the wire." said the announcer as both Pokémon crossed the finish line and the crowd goes wild. "An incredible upset! Rapidash makes an amazing comeback to win this Pokémon challenge."
"Way to go, Rapidash." said Ash.
"You cheater!" said Dario. "You interfered with me!"
"You're the one who attacked me." said Ash.
"I'll show you." said Dario and Dodrio heads for Rapidash. "Go get them! Huh? Oh!"
Rapidash lifts its hind legs and kicks Dario and Dodrio really hard into the air, like Team Rocket. "Congratulations, Ponyta….I mean, Rapidash!" said the announcer as Lara join Ash and Rapidash in the winner's circle. "You are this year's Pokémon challenge champion. Let's give a big hand for its trainer, Lara Laramie and for the winning rider, Ash Ketchum!"
"Yeah!" cheered Misty.
"Squirtle!" cheered Squirtle.
"Riolu!" cheered Meeko.
"Hey, congratulations, Lara." said Ash, chuckling.
"Thank you, Ash." said Lara. "You proved yourself to be a fantastic Pokémon trainer. Isn't that right, Rapidash?"
"Aw, shucks, Rapidash!" giggled Ash as Rapidash neighs and licks his face.
"I'm proud of you, Ash." said Trixie, running up to her brother.
"Thanks, Trixie." said Ash as they laughed. The sun sets behind the mountains as the quartet leaves the ranch. "If you're looking to capture Pokémon, the Safari Zone just ahead should be perfect." said Lara.
"The Safari Zone? That's the perfect place for me." said Ash.
"And don't forget me." said Trixie. "It's been a while since I added a new Pokémon to our family."
"Riolu." said Meeko, nodding.
"Thanks again, Ash." said Lara. "You did a great job. I'm sure you'll be a great Pokémon master."
"Thanks, Lara. I much obliged." said Ash.
Narrator: As our heroes say good bye to their new friend at the Laramie Pokémon ranch, they're headed for new adventures in the Safari Zone.
Trixie: And even though I didn't get to see Team Rocket blast off, I'm still making a mark in my notebook.
Narrator: You are?
Trixie: Yeah. I just wonder what Team Rocket will come up with next.
Groaning, Dario glares at Team Rocket. "You're the reason I didn't win the Pokémon challenge." he said to Team Rocket. "Team Rocket's the worst."
"We'll just have plan better next year." said Jessie.
"And maybe you can get yourself some nicer riding clothes." said James.
"And give that smelly bird a bath." added Meowth. Just like that, Dodrio starts pecking at Team Rocket. "James! Stop this crazy thing!" Meowth said.
