To my readers-This is a major editing overhaul for my Pokemon fanfiction. During this editing overhaul, I am renaming my OC. I will not change her Pokemon Partner, and I will not change her regional Pokemon Teams. I have decided as a writing goal to combine all of the regions together rather than writing them as individual regions. I'm still going to write Sinnoh and Unova, but at this moment, I need to finish writing certain regions like Kanto, Alola and Galar. For those of you who are going to ask me if I'm doing the Pokemon movies (you know who you are), I'm nipping that question in the bud right now. I will not be writing the movies. Why? Because it will be too much for me to do as I already have a lot on my plate as it is so stop asking me that question.

If you dont like the way I'm writing my version of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, and Galar then you dont have to read my fanfiction. You can move onto reading something else in the Pokemon universe, I'm not going to force you as readers to read my fanfiction. I'm not going to reach through my computer screen to force you to read any of my fanfiction. You as individuals chose to read my fanfiction. Happy Reading!

I DONT OWN POKEMON. I ONLY OWN MY OC AND THE CREATION OF HER REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS. ALL REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS WILL BE POSTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CHAPTERS FOR MY OC.

Shoutouts:

Narrator: Several months have passed since Ash and his sister Trixie, left their hometown of Pallet on Ash's Pokémon journey.

Trixie: You got that right.

Narrator: After lots of adventures and discoveries, the gang find themselves somewhere in the mountains.

"We sure have travelled a long way." said Brock.

"Yeah, we've seen lots of places." said Misty. "I wonder where we should go now?"

"Somewhere nice." said Trixie.

"Pi." said Pikachu, then looks over at Meeko. "Pika? Pikachu?"

"Rio?" asked Meeko. "Riolu, Riolu."

"That's easy. We have to go to the next gym so we can get another badge." said Ash.

"Well, Fuchsia Gym isn't too far from here." said Brock.

"Where is it?" asked Misty.

"Uh, over the mountain." Brock replied.

"Uh…"

"Mm…"

"Uh, Brock, over which mountain?" asked Misty.

"The map says Fuchsia Gym's on the other side of one of those mountains right over there." said Brock, taking out his map. "Is it this way or that way? Or maybe it's that way? Oh great. We're surrounded by mountains on every side."

"So basically….Brock doesn't know where the Fuchsia Gym is except that it's over a mountain somewhere? Gee, thanks Brock." said Trixie as he groans.

"Don't tell me. We're lost again." said Misty.

"Okay, I won't tell you." said Brock.

"Kachu?" asked Pikachu.

"Riolu." said Meeko.

"Wait a minute. It looks like there's a road here." said Brock.

"Where?" asked Trixie.

"Well, let's hit it." said Ash as Pikachu and Meeko sighed. Somewhere else in the forest, Team Rocket sits down for lunch.

"I'm having some lovely Chinese food." said Jessie.

"It's tea and crumpets for me." said James.

"Nothing for Meowth." said Meowth, doing sit ups. "I'm getting a gut."

"Work that body." said Jessie and James.

"Cheers!" said James when suddenly, a loud boom was heard on the side of the mountain, scaring a small flock of Spearow out of the sky.

"Is it safe to walk now?" asked Trixie.

"I wonder what that was." said Misty, looking up at the sky. Back with Team Rocket, whose lunch is now on their heads. "I didn't get a taste." said Jessie.

"I didn't get a sip." said James.

"That's the breaks." Meowth tells them. "But I wonder where that big blast came from."

"It's over there." said Ash as rumbling was heard throughout the forest.

"My lunch was ruined." Jessie said as she looked down at her lunch.

"No tea party for me." said James as he held out a chipped bowl.

"Someone's going to pay for this." they both said as Jessie and James growled in frustration before taking off.

"Hey, wait for me!" Meowth called out after them. Ash, Jordan, Misty and Brock ran up a hill towards the sound of the explosion, until they came across a dirt road when several trucks drove past them. Another explosion occurred, clearing away part of a cliff.

"This place looks like a battle zone." said Jessie as she and James popped up behind a bush.

"Maybe we're being attacked by aliens from another planet." said James.

"What planet are you from?" Jessie asked sarcastically. Suddenly, a truck tips over, flipping to its side as the ground crumbled underneath its tires. As the ground crumbles, other trucks tipped over, causing a crash and a huge pile up on the road.

The quartet gasps as they watch the pile up get bigger. "What a wreck!" said Misty.

"This is terrible!" said Brock.

"Oh, the destruction." said Jessie.

"And we didn't cause it." said James.

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig…."

"Chu!" said Pikachu, as he stares at the ground causing Meeko to follow his gaze.

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig. Diglett." said a Pokémon, popping up from the ground.

"Pika." said Pikachu then runs over to Diglett. "Pikachu."

"Diglett!" said Diglett, smiling at Pikachu.

"Rio." said Meeko, standing a ways behind Pikachu, unsure of Diglett.

"Pika, Pikachu." Pikachu tells her, gesturing that Diglett wasn't scary. Meeko walks up and Diglett gives her a wide smile before heading back underground. On higher ground and from a distance, Meowth sees Pikachu and Meeko.

"So that's it." said Meowth. A man steps out of his truck and starts punching the ground with his fist.

"I just can't take it anymore." he said, upset at what just happened.

"Are you all right?" Ash asked.

"You're not hurt, are you?" asked Trixie.

"It's the Diglett!" he shouted to the sky, ignoring their questions. "They're destroying everything."

"The Diglett?" asked Ash and Trixie.

"See, they're right over there." said the man, pointing in the direction of Diglett.

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig….." said several Diglett as they popped in and out of the ground. "Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig."

"Oh, look how cute." said Misty.

"Really cute." said Trixie.

"You think they're cute, do you?" the man asked both girls. "Thanks to them we can't finish building that dam. (Groaning) I hate Diglett! I hate them!"

"Hmm. Diglett." said Ash as he gets out Dexter.

"Diglett. The movement of these ground Pokémon can be easily detected by their tracks of upturned earth." said Dexter.

"Hmm. I don't see any unturned earth." said Ash as they looked at the paved road in front of them.

"Neither do I." said Trixie.

"That's because the ground here is covered by concrete," said the man as his face became red. "but if you look closely….." As they looked at the concrete road, shattered cracks appeared across the road.

"They're underneath." said Ash.

"It looks like a mini earthquake." said Misty.

"And it looks like we'll never be able to accomplish our dream of building the great Giva Dam here in the mountains." said the man.

"I wish I could capture a Diglett so it can help mom with planting her garden." said Trixie.

"Hey, how did you know that's what I was thinking?" asked Ash.

"Because I know you well enough to know that you don't like helping mom out when she asks you to." Trixie said, crossing her arms as Ash groans.

"Sisters….can't live with them, sure can try to live without them." grumbled Ash, before turning back to the man. "Giva Dam?"

"Over there." said the man, pointing to where his workers are.

"All right! Let her rip!" said one of the workers as they were bringing up one of the pipes. Just then, a boulder was loosen from the side of a nearby cliff and heads towards the construction site.

"That blasting is part of building a dam?" Brock asked the man.

"Yes, the blasting is part of building a dam." snapped the man. "But we can't get supplies through because of the Diglett!"

"Hmm. That is a problem." said Brock.

"We even created a special division for developing strategies to fight off the Diglett." said the man, before looking over his shoulder. "We're calling for any able Pokémon trainer who's traveling through the area, somebody with real Pokémon know-how who can help us get rid of these Diglett. The reward's a six-night, seven-day stay at the famous Giva Hot Springs Resort. If you know any Pok…."

"We're four Pokémon trainers at your service." said Ash.

"What the…." said Trixie.

"Oh, so you're the first squad of trainers we called in!" said the man in delight.

"Uh, well, we weren't exactly called in." Ash tells the man when a car pulls up.

"Oh great…" said Trixie, seeing a familiar face. "He's here."

"The first Pokémon trainers have arrived." said Gary, standing in his seat with a foot on the car door. "The rest are in these buses."

"It's Gary." said Ash.

"Huh? Who are…." said Gary then recognizes the brother and sister. "Well, if it isn't little Ash and cutie pie Trixie from Pallet. What are you doing here?"

"What do you think, Gary?" asked Trixie, sarcastically.

"It must be an unlucky coincidence." said Gary as he stood on the car dashboard. "Only the best were invited, like me, Gary from the town of Pallet, the number one trainer. Ash is fourth."

"I'm fourth?" asked Ash. "I'm better than that."

"You're the fourth to leave home, but as a trainer, you're dead last." said Gary.

"Aw!" said Ash.

"Now watch as I step up to the plate and hit a Pokémon grand slam!" said Gary who was now wearing a baseball uniform.

"Hooray, hooray!" said Gary's cheerleaders as they threw confetti.

"He's very…." said Misty.

"Detestable." said Brock.

"Now I wish that my sisters were more like Trixie." Misty said as Ash had fallen to his knees while Trixie pats him on his back.

"So, Ash, have you and Trixie picked up any good Pokémon?" asked Gary, once he recovered and wiped the tears from his face.

"Of course we have. Do you want to see?" Ash asked, holding up one of his Pokéballs.

"No, thanks, Ash. Only amateurs show off their Pokémon." said Gary, then turns to see Trixie picking up Meeko. "I see that you got a Pokémon from a different region, Trixie."

"Thanks, Gary. Her name is Meeko and she's a Riolu." Trixie tells him, causing Gary to smile.

"If I were to going to show something off, it'd be my personal fan club." Gary said to Ash, revealing the girls from the car.

"Gary Oak, Gary Oak. He comes through when others choke." chanted the girls.

"Are they Pokémon?" asked Ash and Gary turns to Trixie, who held up a hand for him.

"You're not the only one in the world who feels bad for me." she said as Brock hits Ash in the head.

"Don't be dumb." said Brock, then looks up at Gary. "So, who are the girls?"

"Oh, they're just some friends of mine." answered Gary.

"They're nice friends." said Brock, then faces the girls. "How would you lovely young ladies like to get together with me sometime?"

"Yes, sir. That would be fine." they all said.

"Yes, sir?" asked Brock.

"Brock's over the hill already." said Misty.

"Okay, so they think I'm an old man, but I don't care, I'm desperate." said Brock, then holds up a pen and paper. "Could I have somebody's number, please? Maybe an address? Email?"

"I'll be right back." sighed Trixie as she goes over to Gary's cheerleaders, taking then pen and paper with her.

"Can we please get back to the business at hand?" asked the frustrated man. "Somebody's got to get rid of these Diglett. Don't forget: a resort vacation."

"Don't give it another thought, sir." Gary said to the man. "Those Diglett are as good as gone now that Gary Oak is on the case. So long, losers!" Gary gets back in the car and takes off, laughing.

"What about those phone numbers?" asked Brock, still holding his pen and paper as Ash's mouth dropped.

"Is it too late to give him everything that he asked for?" Trixie asked Misty, showing her every cheerleader's name, address and such.

"I'd wait a little while if I were you." said Misty and Trixie nodded in understanding.

"We're losers?" asked Ash, then groans. "I can't let him beat me. I cant."

"We're Pokémon trainers, aren't we?" Jessie asked James as they over heard the conversation. "Why don't we try to win that reward?"

"That's a brilliant idea, Jessie." said James.

"If we get rid of those Diglett, we spend a week at that hot spring resort." said Jessie. "I could use a rest."

"I could use a little relaxation myself, Jessie." James said, standing up. "I'll get rid of those Diglett."

"Don't forget, James, we're a team." Jessie pointed out.

"You're right. I almost forgot that." said James.

"And our team is Team Rocket!" said Jessie and James as Meowth gives them a look.

"Hello. Uh, I wonder if it's possible to get traded to a less embarrassing team." Meowth said to his boss on the phone. Out of nowhere, a whistling was heard in the wind. "It sounds like those…." said Jessie.

"Aliens are back." said James as they both fell and groaned while another explosion occurred at the construction site.

"We greatly appreciate all of you talented Pokémon trainers interrupting your training to come here and help us get rid of the Diglett." the man said through a bull horn.

"Mm, there sure are a lot of people here." said Ash as he looks through the crowd.

"You, with the Pikachu on your head, listen with your ears, not with your mouth!" said the man.

"You'd think the least he could do is yell at me by name." said Ash.

"Yeah." said Trixie.

"Don't be mad. He doesn't know what your name is." said Misty.

"My name is Ash Ketchum, the loser from Pallet." said Ash and groaned.

"Don't listen to Gary." said Brock. "You can still catch up."

"And I can help you catch more Pokémon, Ash." said Trixie.

"My name's Jessie. Look at all those punks." growled Jessie as she glared at the crowd below. "Each outfit is more dreadful then the last."

"Tsk, tsk, tsk." said James, wagging his finger at her. "Jessie, there's no need to be catty."

"What's wrong with being catty?" asked Meowth as he scratches up James' face.

"I just thought of something." said Jessie, looking at the boys. "With this many trainers, imagine how many Pokémon they must have."

"Let's see." said James, taking out a calculator. "If each of them has six, there'd be six times that many Pokémon."

"You can do the math; I just want to grab all those Pokémon." said Meowth.

"It's a Pokémon bonanza." said Jessie.

"All we have to do is…." said James, then sighs. "Forget it. Let's just give up now."

"James, what's the matter? Whats wrong?" asked Jessie.

"How can we possibly defeat all those Pokémon when all we've got are…." said a teary James.

"Ekans." said Jessie.

"And Koffing." added James.

"Ekans."

"Koffing."

"Another sneak attack." said Jessie as another idea popped into her head.

"They've never worked in the past, have they?" asked James, drawing in the dirt.

"No." said Jessie, hanging her head.

"How about plan B?" asked Meowth.

"You know what this would mean?" Jessie asked.

"Let's try it." said James.

"It's the…." said Meowth.

"Principle of induced evolution." said Team Rocket.

"Ekans."

"Koffing."

Back at the construction site, the man pulls down a banner with Diglett on it. "Pokémon Trainers, here you see Diglett, the greatest parasitic bug Pokémon of the century." he said to the crowd.

"Just a minute." said Gary with his hand raised. "Technically Diglett is not a bug Pokémon. As a matter of fact, the term mole Pokémon would be more appropriate. With a height of eight inches and a weight of two pounds, they're hardly candidates to be called the greatest anything of this century."

"That showoff thinks he knows everything." said Ash.

"That's just because he's Professor Oak's grandson." said Trixie.

"They may seem to be weak, but together, they can destroy." said the man and suddenly gasps when he sees what's going on behind the crowd. "It's the Diglett! It's the Diglett!"

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig." said a group of Diglett as they went towards the buses and sunk one of them.

"Diglett. Diglett." said Diglett as they popped in and out of the ground.

"I'll take care of this." said Gary.

"Gary doesn't dig the Digletts, oh no…." said Gary's cheerleaders.

"This ought to be good." said Trixie.

"Now everyone will be able to see the top Pokémon trainer in action." said Gary, kissing his Pokéball. "This should do the trick." Once he threw out whichever Pokémon, it pops out before heading back inside its Pokéball. "Hey, what?" asked Gary.

"That's new." said Trixie.

"It won't come out. Whats wrong?" asked Ash.

"Pikachu." said Pikachu.

"Riolu." said Meeko.

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig." said Diglett, bringing Gary his Pokéball back. "Diglett."

"Oh, thanks." said Gary, picking up his Pokéball. "Wait! This can't happen! Okay, I can take care of this. I'll just bring out my best Pokémon. You can handle it."

"Let's go!" sang his cheerleaders.

"Go get 'em!" shouted Gary only for the same thing to happen again. "Whats going on here? All right. I'll show them. I'll use every Pokémon I have."

"Please, somebody stop them!" shouted the man. "Stop the Diglett!"

"All right, go!"

"Go, Zubat!"

"Haunter, go!"

"Magikarp, go!"

"Vileplume, go!"

Every trainer spoke at once as they threw their Pokémon out to defeat the Diglett only just to return back to their Pokéball. The pile of Pokéballs became big as trainers thew more of their Pokémon out there. "Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig." said the Diglett, returning the Pokémon back to their trainers.

"Uh, thanks." said one trainer.

"Thank you." said another.

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig."

"Thank you."

"At least they're polite." said Misty as Jordan nodded.

"Yeah and unstoppable." said Brock.

"Ha! All right. Now it's my turn." said Ash. "As long as they're underground, I'm going to use Squirtle. I choose you!"

"Pika!" said Pikachu, with his arms crossing his body.

"I can't stop now!" said Ash, already thrown Squirtle's Pokéball out. Squirtle came out and went back in its Pokéball. "It almost came out." said Ash.

"They won't come out." said Gary.

"Huh?" asked Ash.

"For some reason, the Pokémon don't want to battle the Diglett." Gary explained as Diglett returns with Squirtle's Pokéball.

"Why wouldn't they want to battle?" asked Ash.

"I just can't figure it out." said Gary.

"Is that right, Pikachu?" Ash asked.

"Pikachu." Pikachu said, nodding.

"You won't get away with this! Go away!" shouted the man as he tries to whack the Diglett away.

"That won't work." Gary tells the man. "Diglett can pull their heads in at 186, 282 miles per second."

"Whats that?" asked Ash.

"The speed of light." answered Gary. "Diglett aren't very strong, but they can move super-fast."

"Wow. You've been studying, huh?" said Ash.

"Yeah, I've been studying, unlike you." said Gary. "Well, that's it. I'm gone."

"Hey, Gary? Before you go…" said Trixie, having the boy come to her level.

SMACK

"Shut up and stop calling my brother a loser!" shouted Trixie, glaring at him.

"Huh? What?" asked Gary.

"You're nothing but a big ol' bully and a spoiled brat!" Trixie said. "You and everyone back home have always put Ash down and I'm sick of it!"

"So what? Ash won't become a Pokémon master anytime soon." said Gary, now scared of Trixie as he tries to defend himself.

"Yes he will! Ash has the potential to become the greatest Pokémon master of his generation! And if he can't become a Pokémon master than I'll follow his dream for him!" Trixie shouted in his face. "You and everyone else who had made him cry will be put to shame on the day he becomes a Pokémon Master!"

Trixie slaps Gary again, hard across the face, leaving a Trixie hand mark on his cheek. Tears welled up in Gary's eyes as Trixie glared at him hard. "You should have been Ash's friend when he was my age, Gary. Not bully him so badly that he had to come home crying!" said Trixie before hopping down from the car and over to her brother.

"You didn't have to do that, Trixie." Ash said to her.

"Someone had to stand up to Gary on your behalf." replied Trixie, tightly hugging her brother. "Just be glad it was me and no one else because I meant what I said, Ash."

"Riolu!" shouted Meeko.

"Look, since no one's Pokémon will come out and battle, there's no reason for any trainers to be here unless they want to watch this arcade game." said Gary.

"Whack-a-Diglett….that's something I don't want to watch or play." said Trixie, proving Gary's point.

"I, on the other hand, must continue my journey to become a Pokémon master." said Gary. "Hasta la vista, Poke people."

"Bye-bye." said Gary's cheerleaders.

"Come on, fans, get in the car, and lets hit the road, shall we? Good luck." said Gary and takes off.

"Aah! I don't like him." said Ash.

"But he can be informative when he wants to be." said Trixie.

"Girls, those numbers?" Brock asked, holding up the pen and paper. Pulling on his vest, Brock looks at Trixie, who then hands him several pieces of paper, causing the teen to smile eagerly. That night, Ash and the others were in the hot spring. "Ah, there's nothing like a hot bath." said Ash.

"But something doesn't feel quite right." said Misty.

"It feels like something's off balanced around here." Trixie said in agreement.

"Don't complain." said Brock. "We got into this place for free, didn't we?"

"No, it's not that." said the girls.

"Then what's wrong?" Ash asked them.

"I can't understand why the Pokémon wouldn't come out of their Pokéballs." said Misty.

"Oh, yeah. Why was that, Pikachu? Meeko?" asked Ash.

"Pika. Pika." said Pikachu as he and Meeko pointed to the Diglett.

"Diglett!" said several Diglett, popping up around the hot spring.

"Diglett." said Ash as he, Trixie, Misty and Brock stood up.

"Ash, shouldn't we put some clothes on first?" asked Brock as Pikachu and Meeko scampered off.

"Hey Pikachu." said Ash.

"Meeko." said Trixie.

"Pika, Pika, Pika." said Pikachu as he and Meeko followed the Diglett.

"I'll get you! I'll get you!" said the man, still playing 'Whack a Diglett' as Ash and the others ran after Pikachu and Meeko.

"Koffing!" said Koffing as it pops out of its Pokéball.

"Some principle of induced evolution." said James.

"It says here, 'Pokémon need to have a certain degree of experience points before they can successfully evolve.'" said Jessie, reading from the book in her hands.

"Our experience is nothing but losing." said James.

"But here's something to think about." Jessie tells him. "When they finally do evolve, Pokémon become entirely different Pokémon."

"Ekans." said Ekans, looking up at Jessie.

"We've known Ekans for so long." she then said.

"Koffing too." added James.

"Koffing." said Koffing.

"How could we ever…." said Jessie.

"Evolve them?" they both asked, sobbing as they hugged their Pokémon. Tears landed on Ekans and Koffing, causing them to both glow.

"Look!"

"Was it…."

"Something we said?" asked Jessie and James.

"It could be." said Meowth.

"They're evolving for us." said Jessie and James happily as Ekans and Koffing got bigger.

"Their time to evolve just happens to be now." said Meowth.

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig." said Diglett, who were carrying twigs with leaves as Pikachu, Meeko and the others ran alongside them, following to wherever they were going.

"Oh." Ash and Trixie gasped as they see what was up ahead.

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig." said Diglett as they headed for a dirt compound.

"Trio, Trio, Trio." said Dugtrio, Diglett's evolved form.

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig."

"Trio, Trio, Trio."

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig."

"Trio, Trio, Trio."

"Pikachu." Pikachu said.

"Olu." said Meeko.

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig."

"Trio, Trio, Trio."

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig."

"Trio, Trio, Trio."

"Dugtrio. The evolved form of Diglett. No specific information available." said Dexter.

"Oh, now I get it." said Brock. "This must be Diglett and Dugtrio's home."

"Their home?" asked Ash and Trixie.

"Yeah, they work and live here together." Brock explained. "Diglett plows the ground while Dugtrio plants the trees. And not just here. This whole mountain range is their backyard."

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig."

"Trio, Trio, Trio."

"Diglett, dig, Diglett…"

"All of these mountains?" Ash asked.

"Yeah. Maybe." replied Brock. "Probably all the forests in the whole entire world…."

"Beautiful gardens made by these little guys." said Misty.

"If this is their backyard, then Diglett and Dugtrio did a great job making it look pretty." said Jordan.

"Diglett!" said a Diglett, popping up from underneath them.

"Dugtrio." said a Dugtrio, popping up next to Diglett.

"And if we complete the dam, this whole mountain forest would be completely covered in water." said the man, appearing behind them.

"Pidgey!" screeched a Pidgey, flying away from the water.

"Rattata!" squeaked Rattata, as it gets carried away by the water with Pidgey and Oddish.

"Then nothing could live here." he then said, feeling the guilt inside.

"All of our Pokémon realized that before we did." said Brock.

"Is that true, Meeko?" asked Trixie.

"Riolu." said Meeko, nodding.

"That's why none of them would leave their Pokéballs, even when their masters ordered them too." said Misty.

"I guess we humans still have a lot to learn from the ways of the Pokémon, right Ash and Trixie?" asked Brock.

"I guess so, huh, Pikachu?" Ash asked.

"Pikachu." Pikachu replied, nodding.

"Yeah." said Trixie.

"Olu, Olu." said Meeko.

"This project's canceled. I won't build the dam." said the man.

"Trio, Trio, Trio."

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig."

"Trio, Trio, Trio."

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig."

"Trio, Trio, Trio."

"Well, I think I learned my lesson, Pikachu." said Ash.

"Your lesson is just beginning." said Jessie.

"Aah!"

"To protect the world from devastation…"

"To untie all peoples within our nation…."

"To denounce the evils of truth and love…"

"To extend our reach to the stars above…"

"Jessie."

"James."

"They know the rest." said Meowth, causing Jessie and James to groan.

"Oh, Team Rocket. I forgot about them." said Ash.

"How many does this make for them?" asked Misty.

"This makes number 28." said Trixie, making another mark in her notebook.

"Sorry, guys, but we're not in the mood for you right now, okay?" said Ash.

"Yeah, but we'll be in a better mood the next time we come across you." said Trixie when Jessie tuts at them.

"But we're in a good enough mood for everyone." she tells them.

"Yes, and we never even had lunch." said James. "But now we have a special treat for all of you."

"A treat with a sensational and exciting new flavor." said Jessie as she and James had changed their outfits.

"For the first time on TV and in writing." said Meowth.

"We're proud to present….." Jessie said as fireworks went off above them.

"Our new Pokémon." said James.

"Our Ekans has evolved into Arbok!" said Jessie and Arbok pops out of its Pokéball.

"Arbok!" said Arbok.

"And Koffing is now Weezing!" said James as Weezing came out.

"Weezing!" wheezed Weezing as more fireworks went off.

"Arbok! Maximum Power!" shouted Jessie.

"Arbok!" said Arbok.

"Ah, we can handle this, right?" asked Ash.

"Pi." said Pikachu.

"You bet." said Trixie.

"Ri." said Meeko.

"Charmander!" shouted Ash.

"Charmander!"

"Squirtle!"

"Squirtle!"

"Bulbasaur!"

"Bulbasaur!"

"Raya, Squirt, Alfie, let's go!" shouted Trixie, sending out her Pokémon as well.

"Everyone, go!" shouted Ash and Trixie.

"Weezing, smog!" said James.

"Weezing." said Weezing, releasing its smog from the holes in its body.

"Pikachu, use your thunderbolt." said Ash.

"Pikachu!" shouted Pikachu, sending his thunderbolt towards Arbok, who dodges.

"Quick, Meeko, use Focus Punch!" said Trixie.

"Riolu!" shouted Meeko, focusing on her Punch.

"Arbok, dive underground!" said Jessie.

"Ar!" said Arbok, diving underground.

"Weezing, follow it!" said James.

"Weezing." said Weezing, following Arbok as Meeko's Focus Punch hits her cheek. Ash and Trixie groaned as Arbok and Weezing went underground.

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig."

"Trio, Trio, Trio."

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig."

"Trio, Trio, Trio."

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig."

"Trio, Trio, Trio. Huh?" said Jessie and James as they looked over at the hole Arbok made, hearing their Pokémon get a beat down before they were thrown above ground.

"Wow….Gary was right about Diglett." said Trixie.

"I wonder if Professor Oak would want to study Dugtrio." said Ash.

"You read my mind, Ash. I was wondering the same thing." said Trixie.

"What happened?" asked Meowth.

"I know what's coming." said James, getting terrified.

"Me, too." said Jessie, terrified as well.

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig."

"Trio, Trio, Trio."

"Diglett, dig, Diglett, dig."

"Trio, Trio, Trio."

Jessie and James start to groan, then yell as they ran away while being chased by a huge hill of Diglett and Dugtrio. "We're surfing." said Jessie, once they were lifted off the ground.

"Yes, we're curling the shoot." said James.

"Cat-a-bunga." said Meowth.

"Hang ten, baby, yeah!" shouted Team Rocket as they surfed on the dirt.

"Hey, what's that thing up ahead?" asked Meowth.

"Huh?" asked Jessie and James as they came closer to the unfinished dam.

"The dam!" screamed Jessie.

"Maybe it won't hold." said James. Just then, the hill of dirt carrying Team Rocket crashed into the unfinished dam, tearing it down. "Looks like Team Rocket's busted up again!" shouted Team Rocket.

"Gee, those guys never seem to catch a break, do they?" asked Ash as they see dust appear from the now broken dam.

"And they never learn their lesson." said Misty.

"Not like me." said the man. "I definitely learned my lesson."

"So our stay wasn't a waste after all." said Ash.

"That's right. And we're in luck." said Brock.

"How so?" asked Trixie.

"Fuchsia Gym's just over those mountains." said Brock.

"Mm-hm." Ash said, nodding.

"Diglett!" said a Diglett, popping out of the ground and looking up at the quartet.

"Hi, Diglett." said Trixie, crouching to its level. "I'm glad that you and the others get to keep your home."

"Diglett!" it said, nodding.

"I would love to catch that Diglett." muttered Ash. Hearing him say that, Diglett goes over to Ash, waiting for him to catch it.

"Dig?" it asked Ash.

"Looks like it heard you, Ash." said Misty, giggling at him.

"Awesome! Pokéball, go!" shouted Ash, throwing a Pokéball at Diglett. Once inside the Pokéball, it rocked a few times before the ding went off.

"I just got a Diglett!" said Ash.

"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu. Groaning, Team Rocket appears out of the rubble and the sign of the cancelled dam project fell on James' head. "Ooh!" screamed James as it fell on him.

"'Construction of the Giva dam canceled.'" Jessie said, reading the sign out loud, then groans as she hanged her head.

Narrator: And so the Diglett and Dugtrio were left in peace, and everybody learned that when you do a little digging, you can find something good wherever you look.

Trixie: Yes indeed.

Narrator: By the way, Trixie, did you get a Dugtrio for Professor Oak?

Trixie: No. The one I asked thought it was better to stay with its friends. One thing for sure though, Ash now has a Diglett who he can help evolve into its evolved form.

Narrator, nodding his head off screen: Good job, Ash. And now it's on to the next Pokémon adventure.
